Hello my loves! I just wanted to pop in here with a little note before you read this fiction. I had originally planned to make this a two part fiction to post on two different days in one week but then I realized that I’m not going to be able to do that just due to the fact I am so back logged with fiction ideas and stories to work on for Wattpad so I’ve done my best to try and make it a good one part read and maybe sometime in the future I will comeback to this idea and do a part two/sequel where the girls vacation. I also just want to say that I’ve lost my tag list for people who wanted to be tagged in this, so I am just going to have to hope you see this at this point aha. I am also going to address the fact that if you don’t see yourself being mentioned much in this fiction or having little dialogue, the reason for that is me not knowing your characters personality or pronouns and not wanting to portray or address them in the wrong way.
Anywho, I hope you all enjoy this fiction and if you have any constructive criticism that you feel I could take on board to apply into my future fiction writing please comment it and I will be sure to make a note of it as I will take it happily to improve upon my writing skills.
Much Love,
tyrilsnightbloom xoxo

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are coming upon our decent, please buckle your seatbelts and follow all safety procedures told to you at the beginning of and during this flight. Once again we are coming upon our decent to JFK airport in New York City, New York. We hope you enjoyed your flight with us. Thank You for choosing America Air!" the pilot of the aircraft said as the flight descended from the air into the airport.
A few minutes later and the plane has safely landed and unloaded it’s passengers, all of them entering the bustling JFK airport to baggage claim to get their bags. Once they had collected their bags some people grouped together as they headed outside to look for someone holding a sign reading "Pixelberry Winners" chatting excitedly amongst themselves. "Where are they?" one of the young women asked looking around excitedly, "over there!" another exclaimed, and they grabbed their suitcases rushing over to the people holding their sign. "Names?" the man spoke with no tone. "Uh. I'm Kay" one girl said nervously, "Angela" the next said holding her hand up "And I'm Yuri" the last spoke as the man checked them off of the list and they stood over with another young woman to the side. "Hey" Angela smiled holding her hand out, "Hi... I'm Tia" the young woman said shyly as she shook Angela's hand. The 4 young women waited, by their car for the last 2 winners of the competition to arrive. Once they did they all piled into the waiting mini bus and were taken to the hotel they would be staying at. Shortly after that they had checked into the hotel they were in the restaurant, ordering their lunch before going to settle into their rooms, ready for the tour around New York the next day.
It was early the next morning and the fans had all gathered round a couch in the lobby of the hotel waiting for their tour guide. After about 25 minutes a smiley woman approached the group with someone who has very distinguishable purple hair with her “Hi! Are you guys the group of Pixelberry winners?” she asked cheerily, with a smile. They all nodded enthusiastically and jumped to their feet. The cheery lady introduced herself as the tour guide and led the girls to the mini bus, they would be taking round the city to see all of the sites from Bloodbound. The tour went smoothly, and the tour guide even brought the girls some street food from a vendor that is rumoured to be frequented by the BloodBound crew. Towards the end of their tour the main tour guide spoke up. “Now I’m sure y’all are excited to try and run into one of the vampires. And I’ve seen you looking at my apprentice weirdly all day today so… Jade… why don’t you reveal your true self to the people here today.” She beams as the woman with purple in her hair that has been on the tour all day too slowly takes off her disguise, revealing herself to be Lily Spencer, the fans gasping excitedly. “Hey guys! It’s been such a pleasure to meet you today and get to show you some of the sites we had the pleasure of visiting during our crazy journey. Now obviously I’ve stayed in the bus because it’s been daytime. But now that it’s dark out… Who wants to come to one of the coolest places in New York with me and meet the rest of the gang?!” she asks excitedly. “I’d love to but I’m tired and need to get some rest after today.” Morgan said with an apologetic look, Cassy agreeing with her and hopping back into the mini bus so they could be taken back to the hotel safely. Everyone else however excitedly agreed to go along with Lily, awe struck by her up close beauty and excited to meet everyone else. “I wonder what Amy is like in real life?” Yuri asked, “I hope she as much a gem as she is in the books and movies” Angela replied. “psshhhh. Forget that, I want to witness Jax’s abs. front row seat!” Tia exclaimed, Lily turning and smirking at her. “I like you already” she grinned, fangs poking out a little.
Soon they were arriving at the spot where Lily was taking them, “Yo Lilz!” a voice shouted out and she turned to the 4 fans who had come with her, “you ready?” she smiled, and they nodded nervously. Lily led them to the booth and sat down with a smile. “Who are these people?” Kamilah asked clenching her fist, ready to defend herself. “Kamilah relax. It’s 4 of the lucky 6” Lily said softly, placing a gentle hand over Kamilah’s. Not long after Adrian and Jax appeared holding trays of drinks, “Oh. We have company?” Adrian asked as he slid into the booth next to Amy, sliding his arm round her waist and kissing her temple gently. “ah! Cuutteeee.” Kay squealed, causing Adrian to blush lightly. Jax brought over 3 chairs and placed them round the table. “I could only find 3 spares.” He said as he placed the final chair. Tia was occupied on her phone, reading through something, and smiling. Jax turned to try and get her attention but froze and choked on his words, this caused Tia to snap her head towards the commotion, “are you okay?” she said with a worried arched brow, looking at Jax who nodded and took a few moments to compose himself. “I was going to say, you can take my seat if you want to. I could only find 3 spares and I don’t mind standing” he said, “Oh.. th-thank you. That’s incredibly kind of you” she blushed as she took the seat. “No worries” he smiled. Lily got to gossiping about the latest Fangbook drama. The fans sat talking quietly amongst themselves, “Anyway, I don’t believe we’ve been acquainted.” Adrian smiled at the fans, Lily started introducing them one by one. The fans waved and said one fact about themselves as Lily introduced them and soon they were conversing with the group laughing and having fun. It was a little later on and the chatter had died down and every one was either talking quietly in pairs or checking their phones. Tia looked over at the dance floor and got up heading towards it. “Wait for me! Amy come on!” Lily called out as she shot up from her seat at the table, grabbing Amy’s wrist and heading to the dance floor with Tia. Kamilah and Adrian stayed sat at the table chuckling at the 3 starting to dance and slowly the other 3 fans, Angela, Yuri, and Kay joined them, letting themselves loose and making the wildest of shapes with their bodies. At some point Tia was at the bar getting another drink when Jax walked up beside her. “Oh hey Jax! You okay?” she asked happily. “No.” he answered grumpily making her frown, “what’s wrong?” she pouted, and he suppressed a small smile creeping onto his features and looked at her, “I can’t figure out how you’re so beautiful” he replies, “Oh..” Tia blushed as she picked up her drink sipping on it to try and hide the blush a little. “That’s cute.” Jax commented quietly causing Tia to blush even more and her legs turned to jelly so she took a seat at the bar and Jax sat with her for a little while. Soon Tia made her way back to the dance floor and Jax followed her. Back in the booth Adrian and Kamilah were keeping a close eye on everyone, when 2 of the fans came back to the table with Amy. “Hey babe? I’m going to walk these two back to their hotel and then head home myself. You coming?” she asked Adrian, who emptied his glass and then smiled “Yeah, sure.” He gave Kamilah a hug and then left with Amy and the two fans, leaving Tia with Jax, Lily and Kamilah.
Later that night around 4:30am, The 4 left at the bar were ordering one more drink to have before leaving when there was a sudden smash across the bar from them, Jax stepped forward cautiously drawing his sword whilst Kamilah unsheathed her daggers, her stance matching Jax’s, whilst Lily stayed close to Tia, protecting her from anything that may come their way. Soon a man skidded across the floor and stopped nearby Tia’s feet. “Oh my god.” She gasped quietly and looked at Lily. Nobody knows what happened, but the next thing that everyone knew was a fight had broken out. “Lily! Get Tia to safety! If anything happens to her…” he trailed off as he fought off three men advancing toward him. Lily grabbed Tia’s hand and led her out of a back exit. “The safest place for you right now is your hotel room. Follow me” Lily spoke urgently as she took off into the night away from the club. “Lily!” Tia exclaimed as she tried to keep up with her as she parkoured through the streets of New York. Finally, out of breath Tia caught up with Lily in the hotel’s lobby at the elevators which pinged open and Lily pulled her inside. “Which floor?” she urged. “Four” Tia answered breathlessly. The elevator whirred taking them to the fourth floor, Tia swiped her rooms key card on the door, and they went inside. It was about an hour later and there was a knock on the door. Still awake Tia walked through the door and looked through the little spy hole, seeing a rattled looking Jax. She opened the door at the same time another door just a couple down from her room opened and Kamilah came creeping out. She smiled at Jax knowingly and went on her way, Jax stepping into Tia’s room. “Are you okay?” he asked. “I’m tired.” She replied and got back into bed. “Oh… yeah I forgot you’re…” he said feeling suddenly awkward. Soon there were more knocks on the door. “ugghhh.” Tia groaned. “I’ve got it.” Jax soothed and answered the door and was received with a bunch of squeals. “Omg I knew it was him at this door!” Kay exclaimed “Who’s room is this anyway?” Angela asked. “I believe it’s Tia’s” Yuri said trying to keep her cool. “So Jax. You interested in her?” Angela asked, the three waiting as they looked at him for an answer expectantly. “So what if I am?” he asked, “It’s cute when you try to be all broody.” Yuri commented. Jax shrugged it off, “So… can Tia, Lily or I help you 3 lovely ladies or….” Jax asked, letting the question linger. “Well we were actually going to ask if Tia wanted to sleep in with us. We’re doing a big slumber type party.” Kay smiled confidently. “You may have to come in here if you want to do that.” he whispered, hearing the change in Tia’s breathing. “She’s sleeping” he elaborated. The three girls nodded and went to grab their blankets and pillows, before returning to Tia’s room. “Right, I’ll leave you girls to it then.” He smiled politely, motioning to a now awake Lily to follow him and together they left going out into the night. “Goodnight girls. It was fun getting to know you today. I look forward to spending more time with you!” Kay whispered, not wanting to wake Tia. “Goodnight” Yuri and Angela whispered back as they laid down closing their eyes and falling asleep.
Over the next two days the fans hung out getting to know each other and following on each other so they could stay in contact after they leave New York. On their last day they were wondering the streets of New York when Kay spotted Lily and Adrian walk into a juice bar. “Let’s go in there.” She pointed and they all headed inside and waited in line behind Lily and Adrian. “So.. why are we here?” Yuri asked. Recognizing the voice, Lily spun round. “Oh my gosh! Hey, you guys!!” she exclaimed and hugged them all tightly. “Lily let the poor women breathe” Adrian chuckled as he moved forward in the line. Lily smiled brightly as she took her spot back next to Adrian. “How have you been? New York’s treating you well I hope?” he questioned “Yes, we’ve had so much fun!” Angela responded excitedly, “It’s sad we have to leave tomorrow.” Tia pouted and she put her phone away. “It’s your 4th day here already?!” Lily asked and Tia nodded “Man. Jax is going to be crushed…” she said defeatedly. “What?” Yuri asked curiously. “Jax has been…” she trailed off, looking at Adrian who looked at Tia with a tender look. “What? Why are you looking at me like that?” Tia asked as they moved forward. “Jax is a little lovesick. And it appears to be for you.” He said looking distant. “OOOOOOOOOOOO” the other girls said teasingly as Tia blushed. “Jax is in love with Tia! Jax is in love with Tia!” Angela and Kay teased causing Tia to blush. “well.. I… he is…” “Shut up! You like him too!” Yuri exclaimed. “Shhhhhhhh” Tia urged, blushing harder and clasping her hand over Yuri’s mouth. Adrian chuckled as he walked up to the juice bar and gave his order to the cashier. “What are you going to do?” Angela asked.
“What do you mean?” Tia asked back.
“Well are you going to see him before we leave?”
“What? No! he’s a busy man. He doesn’t need badgering by someone like me.”
“What?! Are you crazy girl!!! Give me your number and I’ll get him to text you.”
“Lily. Don’t trouble the poor girl.” Adrian chuckled slightly as he turned round from the counter. “What? Jax likes her and she likes Jax. Why not set the wheels in motion for a fantastic relationship?” Lily defended. “Lily.” Adrian warned, “Fine.” Lily sighed and turned around to help collect the juices before they said goodbye and set off.
Later that night, all the girls apart from Cassy and Morgan were gathered in Kay’s room, sharing pizza and their favourite fizzy soda. “So, are you really going to just leave Jax hanging?” Angela asked Tia, taking a bite from her pizza slice. Tia swallowed her bite and took a sip of her drink, doing her best to avoid the question. “Tia?” Kay asked causing her to sigh. “Yes. No. I don’t know. He’s a great guy but we leave in the morning.” Tia explained. “And? That doesn’t mean you can’t exchange social media ats or something and talk.” Yuri chimed in, “But I’m going to be thousands of miles away and he’s too cute to have a relationship from that far away.” Tia pouted as there was a knock at the door. “I’ve got it” Angela smiled and answered the door. “Amy!” she exclaimed and gave her a hug. “Hi! Can I come in?” Amy smiled back, “Yeah sure!” Angela chirped and stepped aside letting her in and closing the door behind her. “Ooooo. I smell pizza” Amy grinned hungrily. “Take a piece we have enough” Kay said happily. “Thank You” Amy said as she took a piece and sunk her teeth into it, “MMMMMMMMM, that’s SO good.” She mumbled as she chewed. The other 4 girls resuming to eat and sip their soda. “So… I came here to give you all something” Amy said, breaking the silence as she reached into her bag, pulling out necklaces with the girls initials on. “Awww Amyy” the girls all said happily as they gathered round Amy giving her a tight hug. Amy returned the hug and as they all pulled away there was another knock at the door, which Kay went and answered. “Yeah.. just a second.” She said quietly then came back the main living area of the hotel room, “It’s for you Tia.” She smiled as she returned to her seat. Tia got up and went to the door, surprised a little when she saw Jax standing there. She hadn’t expected to see him again before she left. Which is how she wanted it to be in a way, so it was easier for her to leave. “Jax.” She whispered after a long moment of silence of the two staring at each other. He smiled softly at her before speaking.
“I um… wanted to. No, needed to see you before you left.”
“But why?”
“Because as cringey and cheesey as this is. I’ve caught feelings for you. You’re beautiful Tia.”
“Jax.”
“No Tia please. Let me finish… As you know I mostly hate lovey dovey stuff. It makes me mad because I’ve never been able to know what it truly feels like to have it and wanting it has only caused pain when women have run away after finding out who I really am. But you know. You know who I truly am, and you still flirted with me the other night. You made me feel… normal. It’s a weird feeling being here confessing I like you when you’re leaving in a few hours, but I knew if I never told you then you’d be the one who got away. You probably will be anyway but at least this way I can get some sort of peace knowing that you know how I feel about you and… I can only hope you feel the same about me. I also wanted to give you something to remember me by. I went to a friend and got this fast-tracked to be custom made for you but um… I want to give you this.”
“Oh… Jax this is…” Tia gasped as she reached her hand out delicately taking the keychain from Jax’s hand. “It’s beautiful” she smiled softly
“It’s a Daisy. I chose it because of what it symbolizes.”
“What does it mean?”
“In general it symbolizes purity, innocence and loyal love.”
Tia smiles at the keychain before looking at Jax and giving him a hug. “This is really thoughtful. Thank you” she spoke into the crook of his neck. He returned the hug, squeezing tightly as if he never wanted to let go. Which he didn’t but he reluctantly parted from Tia and gave a small smile. “Could I come and wave you goodbye tomorrow?” He asked. “Of course.” She smiled in response. “Then good night beautiful.” He said leaving with yearning in his eyes. “Good night Jax.” Tia said softly, stepping back inside and shutting the door, going back to her seat in the main living area. “Tia has a boyfriend!” Yuri squealed as she entered the room, Tia smiled and blushed as she took her seat. For the rest of the night until Amy left and they went to bed the girls teased Tia about Jax occasionally and talked about business and stuff with Amy. Getting a feel of what life was really like for them as vampires in New York.
Early the next morning the girls were at the front desk of the hotel checking out when someone tapped on their shoulders. When they turned round they saw Kamilah who smiled at them brightly. “I’m sorry I haven’t been around much girls but I heard you leave in a few hours so I thought I’d swing by and take you to the airport and give you a copy of my book to take home with you as a parting gift.” The girls smiled and graciously accepted the lift to the airport and their gift from Kamilah. When they got to the airport they went through the standard procedure before settling in seats near their gates waiting for their departures to be announced. But before they broke off from each other they had one last group hug and promised to keep in contact with each other. Cassy, Morgan, and Kay were the first ones to have their departure flights called, followed a few minutes later by Angela’s flight being called. Tia was sitting at her gate reading through Kamilah’s book when someone cleared their throat making her jump and drop the book. “Darn. Now I’ve lost my page.” She cursed quietly as she picked it up. “Sorry bout that.” Jax chuckled as he sat next to her. The two got to talking whilst Tia waited for her flight to be called. They laughed and joked and eventually followed each other on Pictagram, agreeing to stay in contact. It felt sudden and too soon but Tia’s flight got called along with another and she stood up unwillingly and put her hand on the handle of her suitcase but Jax took it and wheeled it to the gate for her, giving her one final hug before she left. As she pulled away from the hug she pecked Jax’s cheek making him freeze for a moment before braking out into a smile. “See you later Tia.” He grinned as he turned and swaggered away. Before heading through her gate tunnel she spotted Yuri. “BYE YURI!! SPEAK TO YOU SOON” she shouted across with a wave and Yuri waved back with a matching wide smile and the two got onto their planes settling into their seats ready to touch back down at their hometowns. Wondering when they would all be able to meet like this again, but Jax was also on Tia’s mind as her plane took off down the runway and ascended into the sky. They may not know when but they did know that they would all have to meet up again soon and vacation together and make more amazing memories to last a lifetime.

Today was long.
Seokmin, finishing his shift half an hour later than he should’ve because of the shift he was covering, dragged out a long sigh, losing himself in his thoughts as he grabs his jacket.
“Seok’?” Someone’s voice calls out. The male turns to his co-worker, noting the concern in her eyes while the small puppy in her arms turns to his direction too. She points, “Everything okay?”
Breath shaking, Seokmin grins and nods. He bids his co-worker a goodbye and makes his way out of the dog shelter. Once outside, he feels all eyes on him — the cold wind hitting him alongside his sense of inferiority. Seokmin puts on the jacket to shield himself from the breeze, making his way to the bus stop.
His mind lingers over the conversation with Yuri, lingers over the words he wanted to say, lingers over what he had failed to do, lingers over the pit of weakness he fell back into.
It’s hard. There were times where Seokmin was almost successful; as if the memories faded like a healing scar — yet every leading moment had to topple and crash altogether the moment Yuri inserts herself back into the narrative.
Seokmin tells himself it’s not his fault. All his friends say so: you don’t have a reason to let her get into your head, she’s gone, you’ll be okay, it’ll be okay.
Seokmin tells himself all these things, but each telling gives him a bigger reason to disbelieve it.
The thought about Yuri is monotonous. Questions come to surface and it all goes back to the man to wonder where he went wrong, why this didn’t end, when can he stop the nightmares that chase him.
His eyes are now on his phone, staring at his exes’ contact, zoning out from the curse at the screen.
Reading it hurt him. He was close to breaking his walls again. He couldn’t — not here anyway.
He wants to tell someone — no, he can’t tell them — it’s just like any other time — yet it’s so much to handle.
Someone needs to know.
Actually, no one needs to know.
Yeah. No one should know.
Finally releasing a huff, mind drifting away by the rain dripping on the bus window, Seokmin gets up to walk the rest of the way to the campus. Fresh air was what he needed most.
But on some days — if not most — it was the perfect timing for his thoughts to attack him out the blue. The voices… He hated it.
He arrived home to his dorm, pushing the door with the last of his energy, completely surprised when he sees your eyes glued to the door, cheeks puffed out. That’s when it hit him: He totally forgot you were waiting for him. Idiot.
“Where have you been?” Seokmin can sense the carefulness in your voice, “I was worried you weren’t going to come… It’s been almost two hours since I’ve texted you.”
Has it? Seokmin didn’t think it would take that long, he thought the ‘break’ he took before entering campus was ten minutes at least.
Maybe that’s how bad it’s gotten.
“I’m sorry,”
You choke a little, stopping Seokmin from completing his apology. “Let’s eat, shall we? I’ve been kind enough to save the chicken for you.” Beams you.
Seokmin purses his lips, sitting down with you in his kitchen, slightly amazed at the amounts of chicken you bought. “I’ll heat this in the microwave.” The male states, lifting the chicken on the plate before reacts a second too late when you stand up and steal the plate from him.
“I’ll so that for you mister, you just came back from work.”
And with that, you walked to the microwave, waiting by the counter and counting the seconds one by one until they go down. Seokmin gazes at you for a while, but you don’t pick it up.
You begin doing other things, like finding the cups (which you found on your first try which was surprising for being there for the second time) and washing them as they collected some dust.
“So how was your day? Tell me about it.”
Seokmin is taken aback by the question, growing more and more confused with the things going on in his head. Too much is happening. Too much.
Trying his best to say something he replies, “It was so-so, the rain ruined it though,” He lied — he really likes the rain, “and I went to the park to… Get some fresh air.”
He wasn’t lying, he did do to the park just before going to his dorm, it was just that he needed space. And a long time to get back into the world.
“Oh cool. Must’ve been a busy day huh?” There was a stabbing feeling within Seokmin struck again. “But you’re home now, so you can rest. I’m probably keeping you up more with me being here.”
“Not at all.” Says Seokmin, voice close to shaking again.
You walk back to the table with the plate of warm chicken rapidly, letting go of the plate once it’s placed on the table.
“Hot-“ You whisper harshly, now taking a seat with a warm smile on your face. You look up to stare at Seokmin, staring back at you in fear.
Something at the back of your throat wanted to ask so many questions, but it didn’t feel like the right time.
Not yet. He’ll tell when the time is right.
“Let’s eat! The chicken isn’t going to eat itself.” Joking, Seokmin cracks a slight smile at your joy as you pick apart the chicken and start eating, humming at the yummy taste.
But through the male’s mind, he realises something.
He wants you in his life.
And he’s terrified of that idea.
Everything about his ex fades away when he’s with you, moments feel like the air is tolerable to breathe in, it’s like a missing piece has connected together just through meeting you.
You’re his everything, it was so clear, but he can’t come to terms with that yet.
Shit, he’s crying again.
“Seokmin?”
Your voice is muffled in his ears, but he melts into the pair of arms holding him in a matter of seconds. It’s been too long since he’s desired this, it’s been so long that he’s crying more, staining your sleeve while you try to change your awkward position so that he’s now putting his weight on you as you both stand.
Wordlessly, you pat his back, running your fingers up to his hair to bury his face in even more because he needed this.
You knew today was long.

A/N: First, can I just say, I'm so sorry this took so long. Life has finally settled down, and you can all thank soft Korean dramas for getting me back in the mood to update. I need my boys like I need air. I need their soft little moments.
A huge thank you to everyone for your patience, your support, your general amazingness. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this fandom is magical. Thank you.
WON'T MAKE ANY PROMISES AGAIN BUT, my dream is to update fortnightly. Fingers crossed I can do it. Stay tuned for more disaster-bi-Min. The only promise I will make is that this fic will be completed before I die. Its become my solemn duty.

Yuuri found his voice as they were walking to the bus, managing to disentangle himself from the group and pull Phichit back with him.
“Phichit, please,” he gasped, reaching to grab his friend’s hand and squeeze it desperately. “We need to talk.”
Phichit was still starry eyed, gazing after the group in front of them like he’d just won some kind of lottery. But when he saw Yuuri’s face, flushed and fearful, his eyes grew sombre.
“Yuuri, I’m so sorry,” and his voice was soft. He reached down to hold Yuuri’s other hand, clasping at them, bringing Yuuri close and slowing them down so they could lag behind the rest of the group.
“I know it was wrong of me,” he said, watching the ground as they walked. “I betrayed your trust and it was really stupid but, come on!” and he waved a hand at the group of students, all laughing and singing and jostling each other as they walked. Christophe and Jean-Jaques and Seung-gil and Mila. Names he’d known for years. Names that belonged in Broadway lights and glossy magazine titles.
And somehow, they were one of them.
The main thought going through his mind, despite it all, was how important this was for Phichit. How hard Phichit had worked to get himself into the Institute Band. The countless hours of practice and preparation. This was his dream. It meant everything to him, and Yuuri wanted to fight for it. Wanted to make it a reality and watch his best friend soar.
But for him…
What did he want?
He’d gone along with the original idea because of Phichit. Because Phichit had convinced him that Viktor had wanted him to audition…
Viktor.
As they meandered through the quad, Yuuri caught glimpses of Viktor’s silver hair amongst the crowd. Flashes of his profile, face beaming, smile like the sun…
Try as he might, over the past few weeks, Yuuri just couldn’t get that first practice out of his mind. The way Viktor’s voice had filled every cell in his body and set it alight. The way his own hands had responded, coaxing music from the piano keys like he were penning a new language. A language just for them…
He wanted to speak it again.
“You’re … an asshole,” Yuuri mumbled into his scarf, still watching the crowd and slowly coming to terms with what was really happening. “And this is insane.”
Yet, despite his anger and fear, it was starting to dawn on him. He was in the band. He’d been accepted.
He’d get to perform with Viktor again…
And somehow, even if Viktor was just being kind. Even if he were just taking pity on Yuuri, that was okay. It was okay because it felt good.
“But it’s real, Yuuri!” Phichit squealed in response, shifting to grab a hold of Yuuri’s arm by his side as they walked, skipping slightly to catch up as the group came close to the bus stop. “This is really happening!”
“Yeah,” and Yuuri found himself giggling despite himself. It was insane. It wouldn’t last. But maybe, just for now, he could let himself enjoy it.
“I’m still going to kill you, though,” Yuuri said with a laugh, falling into Phichit’s shoulder to knock him off balance.
The two were laughing heartily by the time they reached the bus stop, Phichit still hanging off Yuuri’s arm. As their bus pulled to a stop, Yuuri felt the back of his neck tingle uncomfortably. He turned and saw their group preparing to board, Viktor standing near the back…
Watching him.
The blush was instant and fierce. Viktor’s eyes were disarming – achingly beautiful pools of blue set in a silver frame – and Yuuri couldn’t help the way his body seemed to respond on its own, heart stuttering, knees growing weak. He swallowed, realising he’d probably been laughing a little too loudly, instinctively rubbing the back of his neck.
And he tried not to notice Viktor making his way towards them.
Phichit made a noise at the back of his throat, smirking back at Yuuri as he noticed. “Can’t say no to that, either.”
“Sit next to me, Yuuri!” Viktor suddenly said in a sing-song voice, face breaking into a smile as he took a few steps closer. Yuuri almost stepped back, his throat closing in on itself. Viktor’s voice should be a normal sound, by now. Shouldn’t send thrills through Yuuri’s nerves like he’d just been struck by lightning. Shouldn’t turn his legs to water and close off his throat.
But Viktor was close now and Yuuri couldn’t breathe.
“He’d love to!” Phichit said instead, still tangled on his arm and almost bouncing on the spot with excitement. Yuuri threw him a desperate look, but Phichit only winked.
“I’m going to find that tall, dark, and handsome double bass,” Phichit said, glancing over to where Yuuri could see Christophe boarding the bus. He glanced back and offered a friendly wave to Phichit who all but bounded after him like a puppy. Yuuri could only stare after them as his friend disappeared onto the bus, leaving him alone with Viktor.
Viktor.
Viktor, who was still waiting for some kind of reply.
“O—Okay,” Yuuri said lamely, not daring to look Viktor in the eye.
“I have so much I want to ask you,” Viktor said, the smile all too obvious in his voice. “I’m so happy you decided to audition, in the end.”
“Y—Yeah, well,” Yuuri rubbed the back of his neck again, shuffling along next to Viktor as they boarded the bus. “It was all Phichit.”
They paid their fares, flashing their student IDs and making their way onto the bus. The only seats available were at the back, tucked in the corner behind the rest of the group. Yuuri offered a shy wave to a few of the members – Seung-gil, who he was acquainted with from the SIM Orchestra, nodding stoically in response. He could see two younger students – Guang Hong he knew as well, a saxophone major like Phichit, and next to him, another boy who he assumed must be the remaining saxophonist from the case on his lap. They were chattering away as they shared a phone screen, Guang Hong glancing up and smiling as Yuuri passed. He could feel his nerves settle somewhat as he realised that there were at least a few members younger than him – as he realised they weren’t going to try and eat him alive the first chance they got. Maybe he could even make some friends…
“Window or aisle?” Viktor offered as they reached the back of the bus, gesturing to the empty pair of seats. Yuuri swallowed.
“I—I don’t mind,” he whispered, attempting a small smile. Viktor blinked and seemed to be momentarily distracted. Oh. Was that too indecisive? Yuuri chewed on his lower lip as Viktor watched after him intently. Was he having second thoughts? Did he want to sit with Chris instead—?
“Y—You first, then,” Viktor said with a nervous laugh. Nervous? No, it couldn’t be. Yuuri was suddenly reminded of their first practice together – how Viktor had shuffled his feet and stammered his words. He could only put it down to awkwardness. Yes, that had to be it. Yuuri’s complete lack of social skills probably put him off guard. He must be used to people with far more confidence. People who actually knew how to hold conversations and weren’t reduced to a blabbering puddle around his good looks.
Yuuri ducked his head and settled himself in by the window, clutching his satchel in his lap, trying to cover up the obvious holes and tattered material. Viktor sat beside him as the bus began to move and, thankfully, didn’t seem to notice.
As the bus rumbled into gear, Yuuri couldn’t help but glance past Viktor to where Phichit was sitting down next to Christophe, already engaged in animated conversations and laughing loudly. Yuuri smiled as he watched – Phichit was obviously smitten. It warmed his heart to see his friend so happy, and Christophe seemed to enjoy the conversation too. Though Yuuri couldn’t help but wonder what his relationship was with Viktor. Surely they were together, after what Yuuri had seen earlier. The chemistry was palpable, even now, Chris glancing Viktor’s way every now and then…
“—together?” a voice cut across his thoughts, coming at him from a distance. He snapped back in his seat, turning to see Viktor looking at him with his brow creased, eyes bright and searching.
“S—Sorry?” Yuuri asked softly, chiding himself.
“Are you and Phichit together?” Viktor asked again, his mouth a thin line.
Yuuri blinked. “What?” And before he could stop himself, another blush bloomed across his cheeks. “Phichit?” and his voice was all but a squeak.
“Yeah,” Viktor glanced away, a smile across his features that seemed strange somehow. Out of place. “You guys seem close,” and the way Viktor’s voice grew soft did strange things to Yuuri’s heartrate.
“Oh, no!” Yuuri threw his hands up, waving them in front of him to try and get his message across. “No! We’re just friends.”
“Oh!” and Yuuri watched on as that strange smile suddenly broke into an honest grin. He couldn’t quite place the difference – they seemed just as bright and warm and Viktor – and yet…
“That’s good,” Viktor said with a huff, seeming to relax. Yuuri’s mind melted into static as he tried to make sense of it all. Good? Why was it good?
“I mean, not good!” Viktor suddenly cried, sitting up in his seat and leaning forward.
“Relationships are good, I mean. Good to have. And Phichit seems like a great guy!” and now it was Viktor’s turn to gesture wildly, hands moving like he’d said something wrong.
Yuuri was sure Viktor was speaking another language.
“H—He is,” Yuuri said quietly, brow furrowing as he tried to make sense of what, exactly, Viktor was trying to say. His thoughts quickly turned to Christophe, and it all clicked into place. Of course. Viktor was worried about Phichit. Worried about Phichit and Christophe, seated together, laughing together…
“Christophe seems like a great boyfriend,” Yuuri managed to say, glancing towards the pair and offering a small smile. Saying it out loud seemed to help the strange ache he felt in his chest because of course they were together. How could someone like Viktor Nikiforov be single?
“Oh, Chris is very single,” Viktor said with a laugh, leaning over and waving at Chris. “Aren’t you mon cher?”
Chris glanced up, tilting his head ever so slightly. “I am?”
“Very single,” Viktor said with a wink.
“Oh! Yes,” and Chris smiled, glancing pointedly at Phichit who seemed to melt on queue. Yuuri’s heart leapt into his throat.
Chris was single.
“And… you’re single?” Yuuri blurted out, voice quiet, blushing furiously as he heard the words leave his mouth, glancing up at Viktor through strands of hair that had an annoying habit of falling across his eyes.
Viktor made a strange noise – something between a groan and a whimper. A laugh? What was it? But Yuuri could hardly follow the thought through, because Viktor was looking back at him with such a strange expression on his face that had him holding his breath…
Almost like … excitement.
“Yes!” he said, a little too enthusiastically, flashing a bright smile that made Yuuri feel like he were in the middle of summer rather than bundled up for winter as he was now.
Single.
Viktor was single.
“Very single!” Chris chimed in from across the aisle, giggling a little like it were some kind of inside joke. “Getting him to the clubs is like pulling teeth.”
“Chris!” Viktor cried, scrambling in his seat. The other man just laughed, Phichit giggling along with him. Even Yuuri had to stifle a laugh that suddenly threatened to bubble out of his throat.
“Ignore him,” Viktor said with a sigh, offering Yuuri a weak smile as he relaxed back into his seat. Yuuri could see the beginnings of a pink flush across Viktor’s cheeks and oh. Oh.
Viktor was embarrassed?
Yuuri felt like his world was falling off its axel.
He decided to very pointedly keep his gaze straight ahead, far too enraptured by the way the soft colour of Viktor’s cheeks had set his heart racing. The awkwardness of the whole conversation was catching up with him. Why had he even asked that—?
“I’m not actually sure where we’re going,” Viktor said after a beat, one finger on his lips as he suddenly grew pensive. “I’m meant to be deciding, but I hardly go out for dinner…”
Yuuri furrowed his brow. “You don’t?”
Viktor smiled softly at him, “No, I rarely get the chance. Between the NYCO and SIM, my nights are usually booked.” He was staring ahead in a distant way, and Yuuri found himself imagining Viktor, at rehearsals or practicing, coming home late and getting straight into bed. It was an image he couldn’t seem to make peace with – so contrary to what he’d imagined previously. From Viktor’s outgoing nature, Yuuri had always assumed he’d be quite social outside of school.
Perhaps he’d had it wrong all along?
“What about you, Yuuri?” Viktor asked suddenly, eyes growing bright. “Do you know somewhere we could go?”
“M—Me?” Yuuri squeaked, blanching at the suddenness of the question. Viktor was asking him?
“I’m not…” he desperately tried to sift through his scrambled mind, trying to remember the last time he’d eaten out.
“T—There is a nice place … near here,” Yuuri managed, fidgeting with the satchel in his lap as he glanced out the window at the city passing by. “ミール it’s called.”
Viktor blinked at him, cocking his head ever so slightly. “Mi…du?”
Yuuri ducked his head to hide the instinctive smile, “Oh, it’s Japanese,” he said softly. “It means ‘Meal,’ but it’s the Japanese way of saying it.”
Viktor was still staring at him, eyes wide. “Midu,” he tried again, and Yuuri felt his heart race dangerously close to some sort of cardiac arrest. The way the syllables rolled off Viktor’s tongue, adorably awkward around his accent… it was enough to make Yuuri weak.
“C--Close enough,” he said with a small chuckle, feeling that same smile tug his lips. Viktor was still staring at him, the blush from earlier still apparent across his cheeks.
“You’re Japanese,” Viktor stated simply.
“Yes,” Yuuri said slowly, attempting to tuck some of his unruly hair behind his ear. “I moved here just under four years ago.”
“Let’s go to Midu then!” Viktor said suddenly, and before Yuuri could stop him, he was jumping up in his seat and calling out across the bus. “JJ! We’re going to Midu!”
Jean-Jaques – who Yuuri realised must be called JJ amongst friends – turned towards them, seated a few rows in front with a phone pressed to his ear. He glanced back toward Viktor with a confused expression, giving him a slow thumbs up before turning back to his call.
“What a relief,” Viktor said with a sigh, sitting back down heavily. “I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find us a decent place.”
Yuuri felt a familiar spike of fear in his chest. “A—Are you sure?” Yuuri asked, voice breaking in his panic. “It’s just a local yakitori bar. Nothing special.”
“If it’s a place you go to, Yuuri, I’m sure its great,” and Viktor’s smile was soft. Achingly soft. Yuuri was glad he was sitting down.
“Let’s look at the menu!” Viktor suddenly said with all the excitement of a child, whipping out his phone and opening up the browser in one swift movement. Yuuri leaned in instinctively, catching a whiff of Viktor’s cologne as he drew unknowingly closer to his neck. It was intoxicating, and Yuuri wondered absently that it must be expensive.
“That’s the one,” he said, pointing at the screen as Viktor scrolled through his search. Viktor opened it quickly, fingers pausing over the screen as he took in the restaurant’s website.
“Ah, which one’s the menu button?” Viktor asked as the wall of Japanese loaded under his fingers. Yuuri scanned it and pointed to one of the buttons, but rather than follow his instruction, Viktor just handed his phone over instead, their shoulders brushing together as he leant closer.
Yuuri wasn’t expecting the touch to affect him so thoroughly, but he suddenly found it quite hard to breathe as a strange current of soft electricity shot through his veins.
Around the furious beating of his pulse in his ears, Yuuri managed to grip the phone with two shaky hands, focussing on scrolling through to the menu to keep his mind from unravelling entirely. The smell of Viktor’s cologne was heavy now, and Yuuri could feel the warmth of Viktor’s arm through his sleeve like a furnace. And Yuuri realised, with a strange blooming warmth in his chest, that Viktor didn’t pull away, either. If anything, it felt like he was pressing even closer, though Yuuri couldn’t tell if it was Viktor’s own movements or just the sway of the bus beneath them.
All the same, it sent shivers straight through his chest and directly into his abdomen, and he was sure his blush would be embarrassingly apparent by now from the way his ears were burning,
Luckily, Viktor didn’t seem to notice, more focussed on the screen as Yuuri slowly scrolled through some of the images. He saw a familiar photo of a bowl of katsudon and paused.
“This one’s my favourite,” he said softly, voice weak.
“Will you order it?” Viktor asked, his pitch rising as his eyes sparkled. Without missing a beat, he leant in slightly closer and added, “Could I try some if you do?”
Yuuri’s eyes widened, his glasses slipping down the bridge of his nose ever so slightly as he jerked his head in surprise. Viktor wanted to … try some? From his plate? He tried to stay present but felt his mind reel with possibilities. Viktor eating from his plate. Reaching over to take a bite off of Yuuri’s chopsticks…
Viktor’s own eyes grew wide and he suddenly pulled away ever so slightly, the shift snapping Yuuri back to reality.
“Or,” Viktor said slowly, clearing his throat and glancing back down at the screen, the excitement slightly dampened. “Actually, I’ll just get one of my own.”
Yuuri felt all the air leave his lungs.
Where he was teetering on the edge of hopeful before, now he was mired in despair. Because of course. Of course Viktor wouldn’t want to share with him. That would be strange. He probably hated the idea. Had probably said it because he’d forgotten who he was actually talking to…
“Is there anything else you like?” Viktor’s voice, soft and careful, cut across Yuuri’s thoughts. Yuuri realised he was still holding Viktor’s phone, leaning away as he unconsciously tucked his head into his scarf. Without meeting Viktor’s gaze, Yuuri moved to hand the phone back to Viktor, desperately trying to think of how to salvage the awkward social situation.
But instead of take the phone back, Viktor just leant in again, pressing against Yuuri’s shoulder once more as he watched the screen.
“This one?” Viktor asked, gesturing to the next item on the menu; okonomiyaki.
“That one’s quite nice, too,” Yuuri found himself answering shyly despite himself. Viktor didn’t seem to notice the awkwardness in Yuuri’s tone, however. Instead, his eyes lit up as he took in the image, casually zooming in, fingers spreading across the screen and Yuuri found he couldn’t help how his eyes followed the movement.
As a pianist, Yuuri was naturally drawn to fingers. Found himself calculating if people could reach a full octave or not. Wondering how they’d hold up performing glissandos…
Now, all Yuuri could think of was what Viktor’s fingers would feel like.
Because even in simple gestures, Viktor’s fingers were mesmerising. Like every touch were important – deserving of some sort of special care. Yuuri had had enough experience with performers to understand they were slightly different to most. Understand how much their profession permeated every aspect of their lives. Yet he realised, with a strange surge of awe and soft surprise, that Viktor lived his performance. Every gesture, the tone of his voice, the set of his lips, it commanded attention. Spoke of a deep sense of knowing. Knowing others were watching him. Self-aware…
As entranced as Yuuri was, the new knowledge suddenly made him feel incredibly distant, somehow. As if the chasm he’d imagined between who Viktor was and who he was had suddenly widened tenfold.
“What is it, exactly?” Viktor asked, brow furrowing, and even that simple expression had Yuuri reeling. It took Yuuri a moment to realise Viktor was referring to the menu.
“I—It’s … a sort of pancake,” he fumbled for his words, earlier thoughts scattering to the back of his mind. “Savoury.”
“Interesting,” Viktor said with a soft smile. “We’ll have to get one of those, too.”
They continued like that for a while, scrolling through the menu, Yuuri explaining the different food and drink softly as Viktor kept track of what he wanted to order. And Yuuri wasn’t too sure how he felt about it. It was almost too easy, the way the conversation flowed and ebbed. Far easier than any conversation he’d had before, despite how hard his heart was trying to tear itself out of his chest. And as they talked, it didn’t take long for Viktor to laugh, though Yuuri couldn’t remember what he’d said to illicit such a response. Such a melodious, beautiful response.
He decided making Viktor laugh was easily the best thing in the world.
And Yuuri found, with a small jolt of surprise, that he was soon laughing too. Really laughing. Gasping for air and snorting because Viktor was still trying to pronounce Japanese words and it was too much.
As he wiped tears from the corner of his eyes, Viktor smiling at him in such an attentive way that Yuuri couldn’t help but stare back, Phichit suddenly called out from across the aisle.
“I haven’t heard him laugh like that in ages,” and Yuuri tore his eyes from Viktor’s to give Phichit a decidedly threatening glare.
“Oh?” Viktor asked next to him, eyes still trained on Yuuri’s face. “Is that so?”
“D—Don’t mind him,” Yuuri shuffled back into his seat, tucking his face into his scarf. He decided the blush across his features was more or less permanent, now, though the instinct to hide it was still very strong.
How he’d survive the rest of the night, he had no clue.
And all too soon, they were rounding a familiar corner, coming to the block where the yakitori bar was. Yuuri reached to press the button that would signal the driver to stop, careful not to touch Viktor as he did so. Viktor was glancing out the window, eyes searching.
“We’re close?” he asked, furrowing his brow at the shops and apartments around them.
“It’s not all that well known,” Yuuri said sheepishly, wondering for the millionth time if he’d made the right choice. “We can still go somewhere else if you’d—”
“No!” Viktor cried suddenly, the fringe of his hair drifting across his eyes as he jerked himself back into his seat, eyes wide. “I didn’t mean—”
And Yuuri felt the laugh simmer in his throat, escaping as a giggle he couldn’t control. He wondered if he’d ever get used to how excitable Viktor was. How charming...
“It’s okay,” Yuuri smiled softly at him, and as all the panic and doubt and sense of inferiority threatened to cloud his thoughts, Yuuri realised it really had been a long time since he’d laughed like this. Smiled like this. Since he’d felt so at ease.
And as the bus came to a stop and the group began disembarking, Yuuri found the prospect of a night with Viktor to be all too inviting, after all.

Viktor and Yuri moved on either side of Yuuri. Yuri's own cheeks slightly pink while Viktor just wore a smile. Viktor leaned down, graspin Yuuri's chin and gently making him look his way. He then planted a kiss on his lips as the clock struck midnight. Yuri just averted his gaze, embarrassed by this. When Viktor let Yuuri go, he smiled wider over at Yuri. "It's your turn!" He beamed at the blonde. Yuri muttered something before turning and moving on his tip toes to kiss Yuuri on the lips as well
Yuuri had just been standing in the middle of the room, fiddling with his ipod trying to find the perfect playlist before he went out on his nightly run when the two had come wandering up on either side of him. He blinked a few times when his chin was grasp, “Wha-” he didn’t even get to finish asking his question before Viktor’s warm lips were being pressed against his own. He had forgotten all about the fact that it was a couple minutes before midnight and it definitely wasn’t a normal time for someone to go for a jog.
He practically melted into the kiss, an eyebrow raising when Viktor broke away and was clearly telling Yuri that it was his turn.. it didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what the older skater meant. A soft smile spread to his lips as he waited patiently for his second kiss, melting into it just as much as the first. A soft hum escaped softly as he finally let his eyes flutter open as he looked at the two.
“Mhmm I think this is the best New Years I’ve ever had..”

(OUTDATED) Episode 1 - It’s Electric!
A/N: Wassup, everybody. I haven't written anything in awhile so of course it's gonna be bad. It probably would have been even if I posted my last chapter yesterday, but whatever. Anyways, hope you enjoy! Here are a few warnings:
1) This series will be AMERICANIZED! The names will be all from the 4Kids/4K Media dub and will take place in an American state of my choice: New Jersey. Don't like it, then don't read.
2) This story will feature Yaoi/Slash/Shonen-ai/MalexMale/etc. Don't like it, then don't read. I might even feature Yuri, but for right now, it's just Yaoi.
3) Characters WILL be OOC. This is meant to be a re-imagining of Yu-Gi-Oh! not a direct interpretation and there will be OCs. Don't like that, then don't read.
Rated: T (for violence, language, and some minor suggestive themes)
Words: 4,047
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was the late hours of the night in Domino City. Some of the residents were asleep while others were out and about for work or fun. Two particular men were busy robbing a closed jewelry store, quickly pacing to their vehicle before the police arrived
Before they could start the engine, a large black creature landed in front of the car, pushing its claws down on the front bumper. The criminals exited the vehicle and immediately began shooting at their obstacle. The figure deflected the bullets off its body and then let out a monstrous roar, startling them. They decided to ditch their getaway car and started to run, but the eerie shape pounced on them, putting an end to their clean escape.
A few minutes later, the police came and by that time, other people bared witness to what had just occurred. The officers abandoned their vehicles and saw the two robbers tied back-to-back against a street lamp with a black rope and the bag of jewels by their sides. Next to them was the Greek letter Omega burned into the side of the road. Seemingly knowing how it got there, one police officer looked up and saw two bright red eyes beaming at him from the rooftop before they suddenly disappeared.
CRISIS OF THE ELEMENTS - IT'S ELECTRIC!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next day, a young girl with blond bangs and long black hair with pink streaks and magenta eyes walked up to a group of two boys.
"Hey, Joey, did you hear about what happened last night?" The girl held up her cell phone which had a news article opened, titled Vengeance Strikes Again?
"Why do they call that thing Vengeance anyway?" The blonde teen known as Joey asked, looking at the photos of the tied up robbers and the Greek letter Omega branded into the road.
"I think it all started with the first string of criminal acts." Another boy with a similar hairstyle to the girl's said, "One of the criminals said she called herself Vengeance."
"Yugi, I don't think it's a chick. It's obviously a robot or some crap like that, that some lonely nerd made to play hero." Joey muttered with a shrug, "What do you think, Kaya?"
"Could still be considered a female, from the low res pictures and videos I've seen, it appears to have large breasts." The girl, Kaya, revealed.
"Heh, even more of a reason to believe it was built by a lonely nerd." Joey snickered. Yugi and Kaya rolled their eyes.
Just then, three brunettes passed them.
"Hey, Crystal, Halle, have you two seen Tristan?" Joey questioned two of them.
"Sorry Joe." Crystal, the girl with brown hair and brown eyes, said.
"We separate when we enter the school." Halle, her sister with black hair and hazel eyes, declared.
The third girl with a mixture of brown and blond hair with brown eyes was Joey's younger sister, Selena.
"Bye, boys, bye Kaya," the three said in unison as they left. "I swear those girls brainwashed my sister." Joey affirmed as he watched them leave.
"They're nice though." Kaya said, "Right, Yugi?" No answer, "Yugi?" Kaya and Joey turned to him and noticed his violet eyes fixed on a girl by a locker four doors down from them. She had shoulder-length, light brown hair that covered the right side of her face. She wore a long-sleeved shirt and a glove on her right hand.
"I wonder who she is." Kaya said.
"I've never seen her before." Yugi finally disclosed, still staring at her as she placed books in the locker.
"Hey, Joey, would you hit that?" A voice said, snapping Yugi out of his thoughts. The voice belonged to a young man with pointy brown hair and brown eyes who had his arms around Joey's shoulders.
"Ew no way, T," The blonde pulled the newcomer off him.
The mystery girl took one look at Yugi and his friends and then walked away with her books clutched tightly against her chest.
"There you are, Tristan." Kaya spoke, "Where were you?"
"I had to finish my Geometry test from yesterday." Tristan said.
"Nerd," scoffed Joey.
"Is that the word of the week with you?" Kaya wondered.
Before Joey could reply, "Come on, guys, we have class." Yugi interrupted, looking at his phone.
The four friends went on their way to their first class. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On a remote volcano located on an island far from Domino City, two mysterious figures were hidden in the shadows.
"Stan, where are the Elemental Crystals our father has tasked us with collecting?" A person asked in a feminine voice.
"Raven, dear, we have been searching for a good year now. They have to turn up sooner or later." Stan said by Raven's side.
Lightning struck the volcano and a dark-skinned man stood before them.
"Jackson Fierce, what brings you here?" Stan interrogated.
"It's Sparkman and I have news. The Dark Crystal has been located in Domino City, New Jersey." Jackson responded.
"Father told us about that place." Raven said.
"Yes, it is where he was born." Stan added.
"But there's more, the one who poses a threat to our cause is also there." Jackson implied.
"Our father's enemy," said Raven, "Jackson, you should be strong enough to take him and anyone that gets in our way down, so go!"
"I will, Ms. Burst Lady." Jackson bowed, "And it's Sparkman!" He disappeared in a bolt of lightning.
"Do you think he'll return with the crystal?" Raven asked.
Stan chuckled, "No." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few hours later, the high school students left the building. Yugi and his sister, Kaya, headed for the bus. On their way, Joey's sister, Selena, walked up to them.
"Yo, Kay, can we talk for a sec?" She requested.
"Sure," Kaya turned to her brother, "Yuge, can you save me a seat?"
"Yeah, just hurry up." Yugi entered the bus.
As Kaya and Selena talked, a furry, brown ball crawled out from under the bus and wiggled its way into Kaya's slightly opened backpack.
"Yeah I know. Australians are hot." Selena clarified.
"I better get going. Bye, Selena." Kaya waved to her best friend and then finally made her way onto the bus.
Yugi looked at her from the window seat when she sat down, "What did you two talk about?"
"Oh, you know, boys." Kaya giggled.
"Of course," Yugi slumped in his seat. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the bus took off, Kaya noticed a familiar face on the other side of the bus in their row.
"Yugi, look," She whispered.
Yugi turned his head in the direction she was looking and saw the lone brunette from earlier. She was sitting by herself playing with a black hexagon-shaped pendant between her fingers. The right side of her face was still hidden by her bangs.
"I guess she takes the bus." Yugi said.
"Have you seen her on here before?" Kaya asked.
"No," Yugi sat back in his chair.
"Hey, when the bus stops, you should talk to her."
"What? Why me?"
"'Cause you're the nicer one," Kaya replied.
"You're more popular." Yugi said, sliding down slowly in his seat. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The bus stopped a few blocks from Yugi and Kaya's house which doubled as a game shop. Yugi and Kaya were the second to last students to exit the bus. Behind them, was the lonesome brunette who briskly passed them and walked the opposite way.
"Maybe we can talk to her tomorrow. Come on." Kaya and her brother walked to their home. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The shop was still opened when the teenagers returned, but there were currently no customers at the Turtle Game Shop. When they arrived, an elderly man behind the counter greeted them.
"Hi, Grandpa," Kaya waved as she and Yugi entered the house area.
"Oh, Kaya, it's your turn to take over the shop." Their grandpa insisted. "Right, uh, let me just change first." Kaya and Yugi hurried upstairs to their rooms. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kaya went into her room and tossed her backpack on the bed. It let out a disgruntled cry that startled her for a moment.
"What was that?" Kaya beckoned as she then went over to her closet to gather her casual clothes.
After putting on a baby blue sweatshirt and jeans, she turned around and covered her mouth when a gasp escaped her lips. The brown fur ball was rubbing the top of its head with its tiny green claws.
"What on Earth are you?" She huskily whispered as she walked to her bed.
It looked up at her and cooed, "Bo, bo."
Kaya looked at her door and then back at the critter, "I knew I should have closed my bag all the way." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In his room, Yugi sat at his desk doing homework. He suddenly paused for a moment and glanced at a small, golden box on his desktop with the Eye of Wdjat etched on the front. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the sun set and the city grew dark, it was quickly lit up by the street lights and more. Dark clouds appeared to go unnoticed as Jackson Fierce emerged in a flash.
"This feels like the spot where the Dark Crystal is located." He peered out across town and saw all the vehicles and civilians traverse the busy streets and sidewalks, "Alright, humans, it's time to fear the Elements!" Jackson said as a golden suit with wings, a helmet, and blue markings surrounding the armor covered his body.
He then held out both of his hands at either side and unleashed a series of electrical surges throughout the city, causing a citywide blackout and a mass panic. Dozens of people screamed and became scared. Those that were driving slowly slowed down their vehicles to a halt, while the faster drivers lost control and crashed into whatever was near them whether it was a wall, pole, tree, or an unlucky pedestrian that reacted late to the blackout.
Jackson marveled at the hysteria he caused and bolted over to the top of a gas station by a convenience store.
"The crystal's energy is strongest here." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the closed Turtle Game Shop, Yugi activated the flashlight application on his phone, "What happened." He looked out the window and noticed the blackout expanded throughout the city.
"Yugi!" Kaya cried from the living room. Yugi hurried down the stairs where his grandfather and sister stood in the center of the room with Kaya holding her own cell phone as a light.
"What's going on? Are you guys OK?" He asked with worry.
"What could have caused this?" Kaya begged with fear in her voice.
"Don't worry. We'll be safe if we just stay here." Yugi deduced. There was suddenly a knock on the door. All three let out a yelp and dropped their phones as Kaya and her grandfather huddled behind Yugi.
"Why is everyone hiding behind me?"
"You're the bravest Moto, Yugi." Kaya said. Grandpa nodded in agreement. Yugi and Kaya picked up their cell phones and held them up as they inched closer to the shop all still close together.
"W-Who's there?" Yugi asked, loudly.
"Guys, it's me, Joey Wheeler." Joey shined his own light through the window on the door.
"Joey!" Yugi and Kaya rushed to answer the door and then quickly shut it when their friend entered.
"Are you all OK?" Joey asked.
"Yeah, we're fine. How did you get here?" Kaya wondered.
"I was on my way here to hang out. When I parked my car, that's when this mess started." Joey stated.
"Are you hurt?" Yugi asked.
"Nope," Joey smiled, "But I did wanna show you this." He went to a saved news alert on his phone and it showed a hard to make out figure on a building.
"People are saying it appeared after a single lightning strike." Joey said.
"You think it has something to do with this blackout?" Yugi concurred.
"Worse, I think it caused it." Joey proclaimed, "Think about it, what if it's a real-life super villain?" He asked, growing excited.
"Joey, this is serious." Yugi groaned, "Where was it last seen?"
"Let's see." Joey looked back online.
"Well, it's a good thing the blackout isn't affecting the phone companies." Kaya said.
"That's weird." Yugi thought.
"Blackout in Domino…people injured…Yadda, Yadda; Yadda…Downtown only affected…bla, bla, bla…"
"Wait, did he say 'just downtown'?" Kaya rephrased.
"Oh, here we are, mysterious gold person spotted at a nearby Circle K gas station." Joey professed.
"If that thing can cause blackouts, then it's even more dangerous at a gas station." Kaya said.
"Joey, which Circle K?" Yugi asked, abruptly.
"Uh, the one on Thompson and Weidenbaum Street," Joey looked at him, "Why?"
"That's where our mom works." Yugi looked at him with wide eyes.
"What does that thing want?" Kaya panicked, voice breaking slightly.
"Kaya, Grandpa, I'm going to get Mom and bring her home." Yugi murmured, still looking at Joey.
"Don't be an idiot, Yuge." Joey said.
"I'm coming too, then." Kaya added.
"No, none of you are going?" Their grandfather said.
"Grandpa, we lost Dad because I couldn't save him. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to you two or mom." Yugi concluded, lowering his head and still refusing to look at his family.
"What if we lose you?" Kaya asked, grabbing his arm.
Yugi turned slowly and smiled at her, "You won't." He then pulled away and quickly left the store.
"Yugi!" Grandpa yelled, angrily, "If that boy lives, he is so grounded." His face suddenly softened, "Please come home, my boy."
"Don't worry, Mr. Moto, I got his back." Joey followed suit.
"They're nuts." Kaya said to herself. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the streets, Yugi ran toward the convenience store where his mother worked. Joey ran up next to him.
"Wassup, Yuge?" He enjoined as they continued to run.
"What the hell are you doing, Joey?" Yugi asked.
"Not letting you play idiot hero alone."
"You're supposed to be looking after Kaya and Grandpa."
"Hey, don't worry about them. They're safe inside. It's you that I'm worried about."
Yugi shook his head, not knowing how to reply to him. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The two finally made it to the store and the streets and pavement were blocked off by police.
"Man, I knew cops would block our way." Joey remarked, snapping his finger.
"Look," Yugi pointed at Jackson on the roof of the gas station.
"If they shoot that thing, they might make this whole area go boom." Joey said.
"No kidding," Yugi agreed, looking toward the store, "You have to distract them while I go inside."
"What? I don't need a criminal record." Joey defended.
"Then why are you here if you're not going to help me?" Yugi rebutted.
Joey sighed, "Fine, fine."
He made his way toward the barricade as Yugi followed behind him for a couple steps until he made it to an opening to get behind the store.
"I wouldn't shoot me if I were you pathetic officers. You might miss and hit the gas tanks." Jackson laughed.
"He's taunting us. I know I'm a good shot." An officer said, aiming his gun.
"Josh, he's wearing armor. What if it deflects the bullets?" A second one counterclaimed.
"'Sup?" Joey greeted from behind them.
"What the hell?" The first cop asked as the others turned around, aiming their weapons at him.
"Whoa! Take it easy, coppers. I'm just your friendly neighborhood Joey Wheeler." He chuckled nervously, holding up his hands.
"Kid, this isn't a joke; now get out of the way." The second cop told him.
"Oh, perfect," Jackson raised his wings and flew down directly in front of them.
"Ah, Birdman!" Joey cowered behind Josh the police officer.
"Birdman? No, I'm Sparkman. Now, who wants to be the first to die?" Jackson asked, electricity hissing from his hands. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Yugi managed to sneak inside the store.
"Hello?" He called out, holding up his phone.
"Who's there?" A female employee examined with her own light.
Yugi followed the light and found four workers including a woman with short red hair and brown eyes.
"Yugi?" The woman asked in shock.
"Mom!" Yugi ran into his mother's arms, hugging her tightly and dropping his phone again.
"Lyra, what is your son doing here?" An older teen with brown, long spiky hair wondered.
Yugi turned to her. "I've come to save you guys."
"Is he for real?" A male employee asked.
"Yeah, Joey and I…" He suddenly remembered, "Joey!" Yugi grabbed his phone and headed for a door.
"Yugi!" His mother cried behind him.
"I knew we should have locked those doors." The brunette worker disclosed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yugi made it outside and noticed the cops and Joey hiding behind the police car with Jackson floating over them.
"Joey!" Yugi's cry echoed throughout the area.
"Not another one," said Officer Josh.
"Hey, that's my pal." Joey argued.
"Are you both crazy?"
"Nope, it was all his idea." Joey laughed.
Jackson turned to Yugi, "And what do you want, spiky?"
"Whatever it is you want, you can't have it, so leave now!" Yugi hollered, glaring at him.
"Oh, is that right?" Jackson held up his crackling hand.
Yugi swallowed hard, "Y-Yes."
"You're just a wannabe hero." Jackson shot a lightning bolt at Yugi.
"Yuge!" Joey cried out.
Yugi closed his eyes, preparing for the worst. When he opened them, he noticed a large wolf with dragon wings in front of him, leering at Jackson.
"You're…" Yugi tried to get out.
The massive beast turned its head at him, "Vengeance." It said in a low, feminine voice.
"Yeah, it's the real life superhero!" Joey cheered.
"So, you're the one that was created by the enemy of our father." Jackson clarified, "It'll be nice to kill you and obtain the Dark Crystal."
"Dark Crystal?" Yugi questioned.
"The Dark Crystal is one of ten Elemental Crystals that will increase the power of a hybrid like me." Jackson said.
"Hybrid?" Joey asked.
"I was made from the DNA of a human and a cuckoo bird."
"What the hell is he talking about?" Josh queried.
"He's cuckoo alright?" Joey joked.
Jackson shot an energy blast in Joey's direction, but Vengeance jumped in front him and quickly absorbed it.
"She's fast." Yugi mentioned.
"Why do you protect these fools? With your power, you can be on our side and once and for all become the master race over humans." Jackson said.
"I will never join the side of evil." Vengeance growled and pounced on top of Jackson, biting down on his battle armor.
"You giant bitch!" Jackson thrust the beast of him and zapped her in the chest, knocking her back into the ground.
Jackson shuffled backwards seemingly malfunctioning from his last attack as Vengeance's saliva dripped down his body.
"Water," Yugi noted to himself. "That's it!" He ran back into the store.
"Oh, it's it alright." Jackson said as he prepared for another attack aiming at the gas station.
"I think we all should evacuate the area." Josh announced. "If the gas station explodes, it could take out the entire street, even more."
Joey looked at the store, "C'mon Yuge." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yugi hurried to his mom and the others still in the corner.
"He's back." The brunette said.
"What is it, Yugi?" Lyra asked.
"Mom, I need some water bottles." Yugi said.
"For what?" Lyra questioned.
"We can't give any to him. We might need them if the power never goes back on." The male worker said.
"Trust me; I think it might help stop that thing." Yugi stressed.
"What thing?" The female supervisor asked.
"There's apparently a super villain with electrokinesis outside." The brunette affirmed.
"Are you serious?"
"They're on the first shelf by the checkout." The brunette then said.
"Thanks, Valerie." Yugi picked up four water bottles and hurried outside."
"So, you're saying there's a dude outside with magical powers?" The boss prided.
"No," Valerie articulated matter-of-factly, "I'm saying there's a dude with electrical powers outside."
"Oh boy," The supervisor placed her head in her hands. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Outside, Jackson charged enough energy to attack.
"Time to die," Jackson said.
"It's too late to tell everyone around here to leave." A third cop declared.
"With all the cars surrounding us, it might take out more than just the street." Josh said.
Vengeance opened her eyes and struggled to stand.
"Hey, Sparky!" Yugi called. Jackson turned to face him, "It's bath time!"
"Killer one-liner," Joey noted as the officers continued to watch.
"How about you be the first to die?" Jackson moved his arms just as Yugi ran and tossed the bottles at Jackson. The conduction combined with the added-up energy forced Yugi to the ground unconscious as Jackson began to short-circuit, "Damnit, I was so close!"
"Maybe if you would have just killed us instead of stalling, you would have won." Joey taunted.
"Shut-up!" The DCPD yelled at him.
"What?"
"Your pathetic city is spared for now but I'll be back!" He exclaimed, leaving in a bolt of lightning.
"He's gone." Josh said.
"Yugi did it!" Joey voiced.
Everyone was relieved when the power suddenly returned.
"Oh-no!" Joey ran up to Yugi, "Yuge, are you OK? Speak to me, pal." He knelt down and held his friend up over his lap.
Soon, people started appearing from their homes or cars to see what caused the commotion. Lyra and the others exited the store.
"Yugi!" Lyra ran up to Joey holding up her son, "What happened?"
"He's not breathing." Joey tried to feel for a pulse. The cops surrounded them.
"Not my son," Lyra sobbed. Valerie placed a tender hand on her shoulder.
Joey then began to perform CPR as tears formed in his eyes, "You're not leaving me, pal!" After a few chest compressions, Joey pinched Yugi's nose and breathed into his mouth before resuming compressions. He repeated the process for a good few minutes as he sight grew foggier from built-up tears.
"Stop," Vengeance said.
Joey did what he was told and stared at best friend's lifeless body. He then pulled Yugi close to him and let out an incoherent cry as a cascade fell from his eyes.
"Lay him down." Vengeance finally said.
"What?" Joey solemnly looked up at her.
"I said, 'Lay him down'."
Joey once again did as he was ordered. Vengeance loomed over him and examined his frame.
"I can't let a hero die." She whispered before slowly licking his face once,
"You're still warm, so it's not too late ."
After a few seconds of people staring in awe and hope, Yugi suddenly gasped for air, pushing himself to sit up.
"Yugi!" Joey hugged him tightly.
"How did you do that?" Josh asked.
Vengeance smirked, "Everybody gets one."
"What happened?" Yugi rasped in between breaths.
"Doesn't matter, you're OK." Joey said, letting go and wiping away the moisture from his face.
"My baby!" Lyra pushed Joey out of the way and held Yugi herself, planting kisses on his face.
"Mom, there are people watching and they have their phones." Yugi groaned. He then looked at Vengeance and quickly noticed a black hexagon-shaped pendant fall from its hiding spot under her fur.
"Now that Sparkman is gone, I must go." Vengeance shook out her fur, "But fear not, for Sparkman will be back and so will I."
"And we'll be ready." Joey made a fist and smiled at Vengeance before she howled and then flew off over the Circle K building. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the game shop,
"You sure you should be walking, Yuge?" Joey interrogated.
Yugi looked into the window and saw his family in a group hug, "Yeah, I think I'll be fine, Joey."
"Aw, I love you, man." Joey hugged him tightly, "And I totally mean that way if you want."
Yugi laughed, "I'm flattered, but you know I'm not gay."
They pulled away and both smiled.
"I love you too, Joey." Yugi said with a bright smile.
"Goodnight pal. Glad to have you back." Joey chucked with a blush and then ran off to his car, waving 'goodbye'.
Yugi thought for a moment, "What does that mean?"
"Yugi," Kaya opened the front door, "It's time for bed."
"Alright, I'm coming." Yugi interlocked his arm with his sister's as they both returned home with their family. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CRISIS OF THE ELEMENTS - AFTER CREDITS
Yugi was in his pajamas ready for bed when he once again looked over at the golden box on his desk. He slowly walked over to it. When the lid was carefully removed, Yugi admired what was inside as his room illuminated with a golden light.
To be continued... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next time on CRISIS OF THE ELEMENTS:
Joey: [at school] If there are more of these 'Elements', then we need to figure out how to take them down once and for all before they find those 10 crystals.
[A man made out of gravel breaks out of the ground just outside of Domino]
Yugi: [at school] I died, Joey, then how is possible that I'm here?
[Yugi walks up to the girl with brown hair and the black pendant]
Yugi: [before the girl] Are you Vengeance?
[The girl frowns and looks down]
[The rock humanoid swings at Joey and then hovers him as he prepares to punch him in the face, assuming to kill him but a diamond white dragon grabs the man by the arms as Yugi and Vengeance arrive and gasp in shock]
Joey (V.O.): [as the dragon and clay man stare each other down] Where are these dragon superheroes coming from?
CRISIS OF THE ELEMENTS
A/N: Well I hope you enjoyed. Many questions will be answered in the coming chapters like: Who is the mystery girl with brown hair and black pendent? Is she Vengeance? How? How did she save Yugi's life? Will it have side effects? Probably. Don't worry, if you're wondering where Serenity Wheeler is? She wasn't replaced with an OC and she'll appear in a later chapter. Is that "Bo, Bo" creature Kuriboh? and what is its purpose? That and more will also be answered soon. Lastly, all of those characters you thought might be one-off episodic characters (Officer Josh and Valerie and more). If they have names, they will become important later. Bye bye!

@katsudon-fatalexeros my writing partner
Yuuri's head seemed to fall to the side those ebony bangs capturing his features has he smiled."Viktor your always nice to me."His own words were warmth has he looked over the food slightly saddened it wasn't a dish he was accustomed to....aka pork cutlet. He ate though has if he hadn't in days...he'd have to go running tomorrow or something before show."I'm nervous Vitya. I failed last year most of my jumps their not where they should be
He didn't eat as fast as he normally did. His mind rolling around the little nickname that Yuri had given him and was trying his damned to clear his throat. "You will be perfection on the ice." He took a sip of water and smiled softly. "I know that I am not that excellent as a coach but hopefully some of vhat I can teach as a friend is important." He rose, tossing his empty plate in the bin. "I have faith that you will do great things, Yuri and it is okay to be nervous." When he turned back around, he was carrying one of his brilliant smiles. "And I vill be there."
"I can do great things with you watching."His own words echoed softly has he got rid of his own plate. Dressed in casual wear like he planned to sleep soon he was aware of his body moved when he stretched. Slender digits back along his calf has he bent over."One day I would like to skate with you
He blinked a few times, trying not to watch Yuri's hand and opting to stare out the hotel window with his arms crossed behind his back. The poodle already asleep on the bed. "Of course I will watch you." There was a smile there. "But you don't need to compare yourself to me to become great, you need to become one with yourself for that as well. I am not the prefect role model."
Yuuri's frame slightly twisted his body still bent. "Don't say that Viktor I've adored you since I first saw you ....when your were twelve."He new what meeting an idol meant but even now he felt living with Viktor was like standing before a God.
He chuckled softly as he spun around, the skater in him always apparent. "I met you." His tone soft as he walked over to Yuri, cupping his neck and bending down to lightly brush his lips against his forehead. "Try to rest. We have big day tomorrow." A sharp whistle and the dog was awake, walking out of the room with him
Yuuri watched him go a chill set to ruby optics has he gave a smile, and there he was gone again. Was he really the other males eros or was it simply an act to get him to perform better. To face it truthfully he did perform better when it was solely Viktor's eyes watching him something about those sapphire hues that captivated... shaking his head lights were turned off and his mask was in place
He couldn't sleep. Couldn't will himself to stop his mind from turning over everything that had lead them here. He smiled, big across his lips, rolled over and looking out the dark night sky. This was going to be a big week, one where his Yuri would come out of his she'll and make himself proud
The end of the competition was a surprise compared to where he had been last year...hell for that quad he almost successfully landed he was surprised. Yet when he scanned he didn't see Viktor this was what he wanted to know...had he disappointed his coach? When he heard his name he was quick to turn."I did great right Viktor?!?!?." His heart was pounding and has the other male embraced for a hug he couldn't help but hope he didn't fall on pavement
He was mind blown, proud and his heart was pounding in chest. Yuri had surpassed him and as he felt that sweaty body in his arms, he did the only thing he could think of to surprise him. The embrace locked along with the lips for a good 30 seconds as they fell to the ice. Viktor's light frame on top of hid own as he laid on him.
It took Yuuri by surprise yeah there had been hints and cues but the warmth of the other males mouth on his made this moment disappear to the rest of the world it might look like either, but Yuuri knew what this was has the kiss broke and he gazed lovingly at the other male. Was it love just yet maybe maybe not but it was something
He couldn't help but return the glaze, nothing seemed to matter more in that moment than Yuri. the cheering crowd behind them, from all sides. He slowly began to help him up from the ice. "We have much to talk about later yes." He let his eyes down cast for a moment before looking back into Yuri's face
The blush that spread across Yuuri's features was brighter than his eyes has he gave a smile and nod. He had won that had been his first kiss and well he had hoped it was okay. Bows and smiles has he circled around with the other skaters a broad grin across his face tonight would come soon enough and then Russia. Would things change he knew that being out there well it wasn't the same has other places they were strict.
He couldn't help but beam as Yuri took his spot in the winners circle. His arms crossed and he couldn't wait until they were alone tonight. He didn't know how Yuri felt about going to Russia, he couldn't lie and say that he didn't miss his home but this... he was glad that he took the dive to train this amazing man.
It never occurred to him that sure he hadn't won won he only took silver but he was proud of himself. With Viktor's help he had almost accomplished a signature move he'd never even thought of. Russia would be different while they celebrated Viktor that kiss would not be met with warm results, pushing his mind forward he shook his head and continued to beam
The crowds where slowly starting to move. The stadium was slowly starting to empty. A few people had stayed behind the watch the Russian dawn his skates and move to the ice. The music that filled the silence was Yuri's that he had skated to before. He felt something he didn't understand. He set himself up, speed in his movements. The move set up and he ended up falling on the ice with a curse
It wasn't something he was used to seeing that was for sure Viktor missing a jump was rare clearly the other male bore distraction as badly has the younger. They had little time till the rink closed but Yuuri moved on the ice with ease poking in the center of the elder males head."Viktor Viktor."His name said in a small chants
He was panting slightly, on one knee and bracing his arm on his leg when he felt the poke to his head and arched a brow. "Vhat?" Head rose, sparking blue hues staring up at Yuri's face with fondness, and slight curiosity as to why he was poked.
His native tongue was spoken fluidly knowing the other male had not a lot of clue has to what he was saying. The slight fall of his head to one side and he was leaning down."Skate with me?" Palm outstretched and a shy look to his face it was not often male skaters moved with one another. Before his palm was grabbed yuri stepped back, blades struck against ice like magic
The hand took, the ice taken and they were moving together with the music. Their actions so in tune with one another. He'd never given much thought to pair skating as he lifted Yuri into the air with ease. Spinning around with his arms around his waist before he was lowered flush against his body.
The rise of him through the younger male off he'd never been lifted because he had never given any thought to pair skating. Flush with the other male he was out of breath body clearly fatigued from lack of sleep and all the jumps. Yuuri with a natural flush to his body looked down shyly...right has the door opened and security was asking them to get off the ice so it could be cleaned.
It was a moment stolen from them as they were used off the ice. A scowl forming on his lips, hand still clasped with his own. He didn't know where this was going to go but he would follow blindly and happily. The moved to the locker room to get their things. Viktor silent and thinking the whole time
Back in the locker room blades where removed and packed in his go bag. One more night in the hotel and they'd be off to Russia. Yuuri was new at this so to say the kiss surprised him would be an understatement. It took him a moment to be slightly out of his outfit and looking for a change of clothes
He wrinkled his nose, only having to remove his blades and replace them with sneakers. His mind, going to those dark hollow places of a loner. Betraying his thoughts in the darkness. "Vould you like to get dinner on the vay home?" It was soft spoken, but had an edge to it that Yuri wouldn't be able to place
His head fell to the side has he leaned back with a smile."I didn't technically win but a pork cutlet bowl please." What could he say he had a weakness and pork bowls were it...plus he hadn't had anytime with the male that was relaxing....unless you count the nap
He chuckled softly, tossing the strap of his bag on his shoulder and lightly taking Yuri's hand. They didn't talk on the way to get dinner other than here and there small talk. Viktor was far too nervous about anything at the moment but if his Yuri wanted a pork cutlet bowl, thst is what his Yuri would get. The place wasn't as busy as usual so it was easy to get the food and sit by themselves in a quiet little corner
