this silly football show means so much to me, i can’t belive it’s gonna end soon. recently, it’s been so many small things—like the comparison of teds and jamies mother that made me think a lot about my own mom and our relationship. or the fact that i brought three pink and purple dresses today because i like the colour, they make me happy and i try to overcome the ‘too girly’, ‘to childish’ stereotypes ect ect

What is your normal grocery list? I’m about to be living at a dorm and I am looking for stuff to stock up on, I can’t really keep frozen foods though

i actually dont even cook all that much so i dont keep a lot of frozen foods either. this is my regular list when i go, usually weekly.

FASTING FOODS

okay so youre probably like. raine you arent supposed to eat anything when you fast. hear me out bc this is how i consistently fast a 20-4 schedule everyday, with a lot less binges than before, AND getting all of the benefits of fasting. and yeah, i still binge from time to time, but my binges are far less because my stomach actually cannot handle being fed over 1000 calories anymore, especially not all at once.

these are my ESSENTIALS so theyre pretty much the only things i consistently buy weekly.

cucumbers

chicken broth (0cal kind)

seaweed snacks

pickled ginger

tea (any, but i like trying new flavors ! my favorite is lemon ginger because it helps digestion, and green tea because it speeds up your metabolism. also a lot healthier than diet coke with the same amount of caffeine, also less likely to spike your blood sugar and kick you out of ketosis- which will make your cravings for food much worse)

...dont get me wrong i couldnt live without diet coke. but sometimes ill go for the healthier option.

why i eat these foods while i fast

these are foods that have extremely low cals and carbs (like less than 2 grams per/serving) so they wont kick you out of ketosis (which is the major benefit to fasting, where your body burns fat at a higher rate). when youre in ketosis, your body stops sending you as many cravings, which is why sometimes it feels easier to fast 24 hours after you last ate as opposed to 3 hours.

because i spend the majority of my time fasting, (and i would never be able to do that without these foods) i go through these items pretty quick.

but otherwise i only have to buy other healthy foods on a biweekly or even monthly basis, because i wont eat them as fast ! heres some things i rotate through depending on how sick of them i am lol.

regular food

built bars - essential for me. tons of protein, less sugar than other bars, and relatively low cal.

somebody on here introduced me to these and im soo glad they did. i dont remember who but if youre seeing this ilysm.

tuna creations packets - rly good for on the go, tons of flavors, lots of protein so they're really filling for only being 70-90cals depending on the flavor

blueberries + apples - so hard to over eat these two items, plus fiber

rice cakes - self explanatory

pistachios or sunflower seeds - great for curbing hunger, but im a little sick of them rn

a low cal air popped popcorn - i forget which brand i have rn, but its pretty good and has a lot of fiber.

chobani yogurt + yogurt protein drinks (50cal) - the fact that these r 50cals amaze me for how good they taste. the yogurt drinks are my favorite bc theres actually a shit ton of protein and taste pretty good without actually having to make myself a protein shake. the cookies and cream and peaches and cream are my favorites ive tried. good for breaking a fast with.

i think i originally followed you bc of your oceans fanfics bc i adore the way you write them and their dynamic bc it feels very truthful and natural which i think is super difficult in their case bc they have such a unique way of talking and being around each other that i imagine to be super hard to capture in a way that feels true to their characters. anyway love your posts and presence on my dash and idk what's going on exactly but i'm rooting for you in the millennial man situation. if this is a situation where rooting is required. otherwise i'm just nodding along sympathetically i guess. hope you're having a good day!

i’ve done it but my thing is that it HAS to be in character. if it’s not something the character has already said they spoke another language it’s fine but if they don’t it’s ooc and i don’t like it.

Well,,, the fandoms I’ve published fic for are Hetalia (kringelis krongelis i know) and The Owl House, but when you add WIPs there’s also the Mandalorian, Noragami, and BNHA, and there USED to be HTTYD and GNG as well. Yeah the last one is the old anime where dogs fight bears. What can I say it’s really popular in Finland, Hopeanuoli 4ever

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

hands, grasping (the one TOH fic so no surprise there), Six Sunflowers (which is the oldest), Traitor’s Glory, Two Boys, Two Moments in Time, and lastly December 30th, 1929. 

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I mean I do try! When I leave comments it’s always nice to get answers, so I think it’s just nice to answer others. :) I do have some comments atm I’ve not answered but. Well. Just look at my url lmao

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

LMAO. I have no idea. I’m just going by the published ones here, but like: character seemingly falls to his death, character finds his mom’s dead on his 9th birthday and is left with his two other underage siblings to fend for themselves in the 1930s ussr, character resigns himself to the fact that his siblings probably hate him as he’s starving to death in a prison camp. Which one’s the angstiest? You choose!!

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Lmaooo well none of them are really _happy_, uh. I think Laid Down By Human Hands has probably the most neutral ending, whereas Six Sunflowers is more bittersweet, but like the sweet is there… And then Two Boys isn’t terrible either? Like it sucks a little cuz that kid’s living in WWII time Finland ya know, but it’s _fine_. I dunno! In truth it’s probably the fic on anon that’s the least terrible, but even that ending’s not a _happy_ one, it’s got unrequited pining in it lol.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Nope! So far at least! I don’t think my fics are popular enough to get it haha.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Nope! I’m almost strictly a gen writer, aside from like. 2 AUs and one TOH wip. I guess some of the WIPs could potentially and maybe should have some fade to black kinda scenes because they’re stories involving a fair amount of romance and in one of them it’s even kind of relevant to the plot. But yeah no. 

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

WELL, okay. You see, I actually started out writing via original fiction? I was like 12 when I made up a story based on a long-lasting play-pretend during recess thing I had going on with my dear friend, and it was. Written and plotted by a 12-year-old. But THEN I got really into the How To Train Your Dragon movies, and then I crossed over my story and HTTYD and then tried (still kinda low-key sorta in the process of) to separate it into my original story again, but this time with dragons! So that’s. Like the craziest journey ahfijsd my original as-of-yet unwritten fantasy story has a crossover sequel with HTTYD lmao. Also just occasionally I think about a potential giant crossover that’s got allllll my faves meeting and interacting, but that’s solely for daydreaming and “lmao wouldn’t it be funny if” -scenarios in my head. I’ve later also crossed the characters from my original story with other ones I’ve liked, in my head lol, but I don’t think I’ve written out any. Other than the TT x HTTYD hybrid. (TT is the WIP name for that original story. it doesn’t stand for anything anymore tho lmao it’s just tt)

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Nope! Not to my knowledge, at least! Again, my fics don’t get enough hits/are too niche for anyone to think about stealing them, I imagine.

Yeah! Almost all of them! By me. What can I say, I try to fight the good fight to keep my native language alive on the internet and also in my head. 

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No. I did once talk about the possibility with a friend, but nothing ever came out of it. 

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

Hhhh. This is very silly but I don’t really actively ship stuff, and rarely think of ships outside of when I’m watching or reading the source material or something. Thus the one I can feel confident in saying I ship is a…. oc x canon ship sshfskjfsidkfajksaf or maybe it’d be more accurate to say oc x mutated blorbo version of a canon character lmao. It’s mainly in. 2 AUs that have so little to do with the source material that they might as well be original fiction and probably by this point mostly are lol. 

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

GHHH I want to finish ALL of my big 5 main WIPs because I love them dearly and want to read them, but then again. I don’t know if I ever will because I can’t get myself to fuckin WRITE any of them. So I’m just gonna say all of my main WIPs. That is:

TT (original fantasy story thing)

home front fic (historical fic set in WWII Finland about the friendship between a kid and the soviet POW sent to work on his home farm)

Kingdom AU (girl from the country accidentally befriends the crown prince and there’s politics and they fall in love and some cool stuff and some less cool stuff happens. hard to summarize cuz i’ve never had to, target demographic is like. three people + me. here's the aesthetics and vibe blog it's got)

sad BNHA fic (what if. Eri got ofa. but how? i murder someone to haunt the narrative. easy. sad. sad bnha fd. naming skills on full display here) 

anddddd. hypothetical TOH fic (what if i came up with what happens after TTT before the two other eps of s3 came out and stayed on that path. what if the first thing i wrote about it was hunter falling off a cliff to his death. what then).

Kind of also TOH fic 3 (it’s about evelynnnnn) but that one is. Hopefully. Shorter and has the outline all written out so there’s a bigger likelihood of me finishing it someday. And to be fair the hypothetical TOH fic isn’t that long either, I could get it done, one day, but then the other ones have grown to massive size plotwise so I don’t know if I could ever get them done, actually. I hope so! But ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

16. What are your writing strengths?

I guess my plots are sometimes kinda good? Sad BNHA fic and Kingdom AU are pretty cool on that side. I used to be pretty good at writing dialogue too, but that was back when I a) wrote regularly, b) read a lot, and c) socialized. So. But I used to be good! though back then my plots were real frickin weird lol. in my defense. i was 14 to 17.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Writing itself. That’s the only answer I’ve got because recently I haven’t written enough to know what I’d be bad at. So just. Writing. See I can plot without writing, that’s why I’m good at that lmao

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Sure! Hell yeah! I’m gonna do that! I have done that! I love it, I love languages. Though translations are appreciated. Though I think it should be for emphasis, more so than just writing it in the language just for the hell of it (though like I had a wip where all the spoken dialogue was to be in Russian because there was so little of it and it was simple enough that I could do that, but i lost my notes for it). I think if it’s just normal dialogue and the pov character knows the language, it’s best to just add like, “they said in Finnish” to the dialogue tag, especially if there’s a lot of it. 

In my personal opinion, also when the character doesn’t know the language, I probably wouldn’t write it out? But then if a character knew the basics of the language and it was maybe one sentence I would write it in the language. Or if it was a really important line, like someone telling another character they love them in their native language, or a culturally significant thing, like, idk the adoption vow in mando'a in the Star Wars universe. But sometimes it’s also just fun to show off your own language skills! So overall, strongly encouraged. Just. Try not to use Google Translate (etc.) for it jfajfasjdn

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Hhooo. Probably the Ginga-fandom, but that one was so brief it barely counts, so I’ll say HTTYD because of the crossover thing. If it’s just fanfic without crossing it over with my own original work lol then Hetalia. 

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

TRAITOR’S GLORY!!!!!! I got to talk about my rather niche but intense area of interest in it, which is Soviet POWs in Finland during the Continuation War 1941-1944. Well, that’s the finished one at least, there are some snippets of WIPs I’ve not posted nor finished that are also very good. Imo. But. Yeah. Most of the other favourite stuff I have, concerning my fics, hasn’t been written. So. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But Traitor’s Glory is pretty nice. :)  Thanks again for the tag! i just started w a friend a (guilty) spn rewatch, like, 2 weeks ago (we are having the time of our LIVES) and BAM suddenly now you're back lmfaooo it's godsend. BUT of course we'll all enjoy original art !!!!! don't feel pressured to go back to post spn as often as you did, it's been years, we're just happy you're back and drawing whatever you enjoy atm ! :). hihi. 🌻

It is very easy to remember the whole universe that show gifted us. My step mom when I was much younger loved buffy and xfiles and talked about it very similar to how I feel like I felt for spn. Infinite possibilities. And all the added levels fans added to it with theories and film analysis. I just got to the supernatural musical eps in season 10 and it was a blast seeing it all over again and how they had fun with us and the fourth wall.

Full confession, I actually didn’t keep watching to the big finale so once I get to season …13? It’s all going to be fresh to me. I think I stopped watching when I stopped drawing (bad time obv) but it means that for a small amount of time I literally get to relive not knowing where the show is going. And I never looked up how it ended. It’s been around long enough now there are no spoilers on my feed. I’m so excited to get that one last run.

The things I draw now are more life study, I do occasionally draw people and I will always have the habit I think- of drawing Jensen as a model for the faces I use when I draw figures. I draw them for fun now, but since art is new to me again now that I’m coming out of my fog, I’m trying not to put too much pressure on myself. I had to figure out how to love painting again.

I want to find a groove again and maybe when I move, open a shop when I can prove to myself I can handle it.

my coloring tends to be pretty vibrant / brings out contrast i’d say!! i really enjoy saturating some colors while making other colors darker, and i also love making gifs brighter. while i definitely think i could work on my coloring at times (sometimes i tend to make things too yellow or too magenta lol), overall i’m pretty happy with my coloring atm <33

Uh. There are performances I enjoy more and some less? I have never been to a normal circus but only shows at Disney or Cirque de Soleit (once) and I enjoy watching amazing and beautiful acrobatics but I‘m not big enough of a fan to book tickets.

Do you have any sense of direction?

Depends. If you give me a map and just want me to navigate me to your next book shop I‘m your person but I‘ll lose big times if it involves Geography knowledge beyond the current location.

hey! i saw your most recent post and uhh, here goes nothing! if you can do anything with a platonic!reader who has tics? either from anxiety or whatever else! i personally like kiri atm but any of the characters sounds wonderful!

Of course! If you want a longer one, I can do that. I’m kinda burnt out from doing so many Kiri ones so I’ll be writing a Bakugou one next.

Well here goes nothing... Kirishima smiled at you brightly and linked arms with you as you both scaled the steps of UA.

“We can do it, (Y/n)!” He chuckled excitedly. You smiled and jerked your arm that wasn’t touching Kiri.

(I hate writing the exams. You passed.☺️)

When you got the disk telling you that you passed, you called Kirishima immediately who was screaming words that made no sense, but you knew he was “talking” about how he got into UA.

His screaming on the phone was drowned out by your own as you screeched like a high pitched pterodactyl.

“You passed?!” He yelled excitedly.

“Fuck yeah I did!”

“Heck yeah!!” He giggled as you both came down from your screaming high.

You stayed up all night talking about what you were going to bring to the dorms, and what kind of uniforms they’d have you wear. You really wanted to get a guy’s uniform because you hated skirts more then you hated being cold. Which was a lot.

The next day you were exhausted but it was worth it to talk to your best friend all night.

When you packed your bag the next day, Kirishima was on speaker with you the whole time making sure you both had matching casual clothes, when you were walking out the door of your home to go to the school, he was waiting right outside your door with his suitcase and backpack.

“Ready to go, (Y/n)!? This is gonna be great!” You smiled and hoped down the steps, when you reached the bottom your hand flew out and hit his shoulder.

“Sorry, m’nervous.” You bashfully said.

“No problem! It’s okay!” As you continued to walk your head would twitch without your consent, but you barely noticed it.

Sometimes your fingers would flick and hit your sides, sometimes your whole body would shiver and your head would turn; you’ve dealt with it for years so it almost never bothered you.

You road the train together, sitting next to one another, looking at your phones to distract you from your nervousness. Kirishima showed you a meme which you smiled at and showed him one of your own.

When you reached the big school, Kiri had both backpacks on his shoulders while you pulled the suitcases, it was only fair if he was carrying the heavy stuff.

You had almost no trouble pulling them up the steps from your hours of rigorous training.

It was a bit before you both found your rooms and you went to Kirishima’s to help him unpack.

“I’m so pumped! Think of all the stuff we could accomplish with our licenses!!” Kiri cheered as he folded some clothes to stuff in a drawer. You made his bed and started working on organizing his desk, putting pencils and pens in a small cup.

Your arm pulled away from you and knocked over a book and you laughed as you picked it up.

Kirishima smiled broadly and threw a shirt at your face; you giggled in satisfaction when it was slammed back into his face.

He was the best friend you could ever want. Supportive. Kind. Excepting. And just flat out stupid.

You were excited to go to school with your dork.

ranboo: fingerless gloves and a lot of silver-colored jewelry, monochrome clothes that usually tend towards the darker side (a lot of grey & black, some brown hues, some white, etc.). his gender discovery arc we’re on atm also correlates a bit to his fashion sense but he wears a lot of, like, sweatshirts and jackets and long-sleeved graphic tees and some flannels and some knitted sweaters etc 

tommy: i just wrote that he likes graphic tees and long sweatshirts and wears the color red a lot. that sums that up fine (also these r getting long as fuck so i need 2 abridge them LOL)

Ludi Harpastum by a Bunch of Sleepless Boomers (aka Grand Klee Auto)

Since Klee's banner is approaching, I find it relevant to share me and my friends' scenarios with their own Klees (gdi I'm the only one without bomb child ;v;)

Ludi Harpastum= Grand Klee Auto

--> Help Klee escape Solitary Confinement and make her bombs

--> Sucrose as the "sweet flower dealer"; Albedo as a neutral party (with loose lips). He wants to help but he really should learn more tact. Basically, telling Albedo means at some point, Jean would caught wind of your plans aka game over.

---> Making deals with Sucrose will give you the ingredients to make Klee's favourite item, "Fishy Toast" which is like the event's in game currency

More Fishy toast=Klee is happy

If Klee is happy, she can make more bombs. If she makes more bombs...KABOOM!

---> Kaeya is a wild card. Either he is going to be your most reliable ally or most formidable foe. If he is your ally, he keeps Jean distracted so you can make more bombs with Klee. If he is your enemy, he snitches on you and sabotages your bomb workshop.

To get Kaeya to be on your side, you need to give him Dandelion Wine, which can be exchanged with Sucrose. (Be careful though! As Venti also likes it and has a tendency to take it from you.)

---> The more you develop your workshop, the more variety of bombs you will get, which attracts more allies like:

Ludi Harpastum Allies

Tartaglia= Went to Ludi Harpastum with Teucer. If you give him the "Fishy bomb", you can unlock him as an ally.

Childe gives you Mora, which can be exchanged with Sucrose to make more Fishy toast. More Fishy toast= more kaboom. Teucer also helps in making bombs so having the brothers around will triple your bomb production.

Diluc= Can be a double edged sword as an ally. Same mechanics as Childe and will also help you if Kaeya ever betrays you in the game. However, if you recruit Childe, he will also turn against you.

Kaeya= The best ally in the game (and also the worst). Dandelion Wine has a high exchange rate so he is recommended to be recruited late game when you either have Childe or Diluc.

Sucrose= more of a shopkeeper where you can exchange several items or unlock new allies. Giving her sweet flowers will unlock more items in her shop

Timmie= The first unlockable ally in the game. Has pretty basic functions. Think the sunflower in Plants vs. Zombie. He sends his pigeons to gather sweet flowers for Sucrose.

Diona= Best and most consistent ally to have. Having her would prevent you from buying the wine from the shop as she can make you her own cocktails to please Kaeya. However, if you want to keep her as an ally, it's best to recruit Childe instead as your resident ATM since she doesn't synchronise well with Diluc.

Qiqi= Having Qiqi would increase Bomb production. Her special skill would also keep Venti away from stealing the Dandelion Wine in the shop.

And finally.... we have

The Enemies:

Jean= The final boss. Any encounters with her would result in GAME OVER.

Lisa= Jean's right-hand woman. However, if you give her some Cecilias in the shop, she will not catch you as long as she's not with Jean
