#i’m thinking of adding inho’s wife tho so in/hun might be out of the equation

I’ve been watching the stressful kdrama The Penthouse recently. And a crazy idea struck my mind. I want to make a Squid Game fanfic based on The Penthouse.

Y’all know I love Junho. But he can’t be the main character. It has to be an… adult-adult. I’m thinking the main characters would be Inho, Gihun, and Sangwoo 🤔 And no, Inho is not the main antagonist. Someone else is. Probably The Salesman or Ilnam. IDK! I haven’t thought about it yet. But Inho would be the main-main character though. The story would focus mainly on him.

What’s really fleshed out in my mind is that Min Seol-a would be Inho and his wife’s daughter. The story started with Inho’s daughter’s death and that’s why he decided to seek revenge to the antagonists. (Poor Inho’s daughter… having to go through what our precious Seol-a went through 😭)

I haven’t fully fleshed out a lot yet. Maybe Gihun would be Yoonhee. Sangwoo would be… I still have no idea!

I’m not going to designate only one character to them though because it’s hard. Like maybe Saebyeok could have Seojin’s life but Rona’s personality.

I’ll have to significantly age down certain characters in order to make them the Hera Palace kids. And actually, this is the hardest to do. Because most of the characters in Squid Game are not related so who will I make their kids?!

Gihun is the only one with a kid, Gayeong. Maybe for the others, instead of making them someone else’s kid, they’d be the adults’ nephew or cousin or younger sibling with a significant age gap (which is Inho and Junho’s case).

And NO. They will not be singing! I’m going to think of something else aside from singing.

Oh and for the hwang bros, I’m actually thinking of separating them. They don’t have any idea they’re related. Like for the case of Sooryun and Seokgyeong. Sooryun didn’t know Seokgyeong was her real daughter. (When Inho finds out Junho is his lil bro, it’s gonna be messy.)

I’m just gonna put this out here hoping that someone would match my freak 😂
