no no he isn’t being aloof that long!🥹 based on google, the time to find out baby’s gender is around 18-22 weeks. the reader is at 22 weeks then when zayne found out about the divorce papers, and she just reaches 26 weeks when they really reconcile… 🥹 so in total, around 3-4 weeks-ish and it isn’t like he is ignoring her or anything (he’s away in another city for a week but even then they stay in touch via calls -> this is written in the fic), just that sometimes he looks unapproachable even to her that she realizes it 🥹

It’s been a week since the incident.

It’s not getting much easier to walk and there’s no way you could try to run again, not when stepping hurts so much your body falls to the ground and you cry out every time.

Just when you were getting used to the idea, just when you were ready to allow yourself to show Mikey the love he’s been showing you, you caught him mindlessly flirting with his pretty assistant.

As much as he tried, nothing seemed to convince you that he didn’t do it on purpose and that all he ever needed was for you to love him back.

When you tried to run away, you did it thinking he’s just gonna end up discarding you as an inferior toy once he finds someone prettier and better. He stopped you, but broke your leg in the process.

You begged him to take you to the hospital, the pain was unbearable, but thats when he said :

“No Y/N, you tried to leave me, you deserve the pain ”

He said it in the heat of the moment, he didn’t mean it of course, he loved you more than he loved himself, he hated to see you in pain.

Pain caused by him.

But he couldn’t risk losing you, he couldn’t risk you running away again and leaving him. He needed you. The moment after he slipped up and said that, he immediately tried to comfort you, to hug you and “kiss it better”, to apologise for his reckless words.

However it was too late, those words were already engraved in your brain and they kept echoing as you zoned out from the overwhelming pain.

When those words left his lips, you couldn’t believe it. This was the same Mikey that swore he’d never hurt you, the same Mikey that loved you in his own twisted and obsessive ways.

It was useless for him at this point, no matter how hard he tried to talk to you , you wouldn’t budge. You’d blankly stare through him, silent and cold no matter how many gifts he bought you or how sweetly he talked to you.

In your eyes, no amount of money or compliments could make up for what he did. Everything he did to try to make you feel better was in vain, you couldn’t bring yourself to feel anything for him but fear.

He desperately wanted to make you happy, he swore to himself he’d do anything to see your precious smile again, the one he gets a rush from , you are the most important thing there is to him.

So why ?

Why is it that you can’t seem to love him back, to forgive him ?

He just wanted things to go back to how they used to be, when you’d hug him tightly when he came back from work. He missed you so much.

You faced away from him as usual, crying into the pillow as he came back from his Bonten meeting.

He lets out a loud sigh as you hear the door of the bedroom click shut behind you, hurrying over to his side of the bed and hovering his body over yours.

When you felt his hand placed on your shoulder, you flinched.

You couldn’t help it, you were scared of him.

“ Please don’t touch me “ You choke out, voice hoarse and tired from crying.

He widens his eyes, shaky hand dropping immediately from your body.

It broke his heart, the first words you spoke to him after a week were those.

“ I told you i’m sorry and that i love you, why can’t we go back to when we were happy? “ He grits his teeth, lump forming in the back of his throat as he tries to keep himself from crying.

You stayed silent, moving away when he tried to come closer to you on the bed. He eventually gave up, watery eyes staring at the ceiling as he pulled the covers over his body.

His mind was racing with pointless ideas of other gifts he could bring you, what he could say to make it better. He didn’t know what else to do at that point to make you feel happy, to show you he wasn’t a monster, that he loves you.

That’s when you spoke again, catching him off guard,

“ I could never be happy like this, Mikey “

And thats when he realised, he broke you.

Mentally and physically, he fucking broke you.

Yeah we've been friends for years we met when we were 14 and are still friends now at 27 so it's been one of my longest friendships I have a friend that I met at 4 but we're not as close as we once were still really good friends but not best friends haha!! aww that's so cool that you guys have been friends for that long!! Yeah we're still gonna live together when the baby comes- we're looking for a bigger place right now to make room for the baby and her boyfriend (he still doesn't live with us yet but will soon.... *insert gif of Monica Gellar one friends saying "And now I have to live with a boy" while crying* Yeah my ex is a super thoughtful person and she just didn't want me travelling so far alone when I had never flown before because when I went to Paris with my college we drove there and went on the Eurostar and it took us 13 hours to get there but I had never flown before going to LA and I picked an 11 hour flight for my first one so she wanted someone to fly with me she's a very thoughtful person I LOVE the cold weather I am so sad right now because it's bene quite warm in the north of England I can't wait until it's like -3 degrees Celsius during the winter nights again so I am sure I would love Canada I am fine with it taking me 43 years if that's what it takes haha I just wanna hit all 50 states I think it would be so fun to do it and to be able to say I'd done it.  Haha thank you!! so first off, i did two wish rolls the other night and guess what? on one roll i got BOTH bennett AND qiqi!!!!!! I can’t deal with immature people very well…I really enjoy to cook and bake. I also like to learn new languages, although if I’m not committed enough I will give up eventually. In my free time I like to read or watch some films or YouTube videos. Oh Disneyland Paris sounds fun yeah! Were you and your roommate already close then? I went to Walt Disney's world with my aunt and cousin when I was like 11 but it would've been way more fun if I could've taken my best friend with me for sure. Maybe we can go to the one in Paris now that she lives just 3h away from me! Oh I see, sounds like LA was really fun for you yeah! your roommate didn't mind third wheeling tho? Hahaha

Yeah Canada is beautiful but what I liked about it the most was the massive improvement in quality of life I had compared to where I was living before and just being able to be who I am and people accepting me for it. Not being worried about violence 24/7 felt pretty fucking great too. So yeah I highly recommend living there if you ever get a chance. But I am loving Portugal so far, people are a bit more judgemental here tho but I like that it's easier to travel to a lot of countries I've always wanted to go to. Everywhere you go there are pros and cons tho so sorting out priorities is key. But Toronto is my favourite of all the places I've been, before living there for a year I had already been two times!

Jesus 50 states, sometimes I forget how big the US is. And you can totally do it if you plan it out! After watching Bly Manor tho I really want to go to Vermont especially during autumn season looks really pretty! There's this fic I love (only the sun by prestonarchives) where Dani and Jamie go on a road trip from Vermont to Maine and I did their entire journey on Google maps street view bc I was so obsessed with this one chapter fanfic I had to immerse myself entirety in it hahaha. Yeah me and my roommate have been friends since we were like 14 so when we went to Disney Land we asked if we could be roomed together because we've been best friends for that long now... been best friends since school and now we live together. She's seen me at my best, my worst, has seen me in all my stages in life and has been there for a lot of the rough stuff I've been through and I've been there for all the stuff she's been through!! Nah she didn't mind at all we had some moments where me and my ex would just go and be a couple and have dates but my ex didn't want me travelling that far alone so invited my roommate too because she didn't like the thought of me flying 11hours alone or being in airports alone so my roommate came with me and we had a great time Awwh good I'm glad it was such a nice place and that you didn't worry about violence all the time but I'm so sorry you ever had to worry about that anyway that can't be easy. I would honestly love to live in Canada I really hope I get chance one day... Having life threatening health issues has been hard and since having my spleen removed in January (that was the surgery I needed to try and fix the issue I had) things are even harder now because I have to take antibiotics for the rest of my life to stop me getting any infections because if I ever get a chest infection now or a really bad cold it can be really dangerous but I take it all in my stride and not drinking is just a way to make sure the antibiotics actually work properly and to make sure nothing happens to me... and like you said, means I don't do anything dumb too... haha drunken stories are the best I have been lost a few times when I've been drunk... and I don't think you do learn, I have siblings that are

I know at 27 I am still doing dumb shit too I don't think I'll ever learn haha 😂 Its such an emotional roller coaster and honestly I was just devastated the first time I watched it... no TV show or movie has ever made me cry the way Bly Manor did when I first saw it and it still makes me cry now. I can cry just thinking about that last episode. I definitely mean it in a friendly way so I hope it comes across like that. Yeah the accent in Billy Elliot is a Geordie accent and its my favourite accent there are other accents around the north that are called different things. Yeah Lancashire is a county and again in Lancashire there are loads of different accents I can't really pinpoint Jamie's down to a city I just know it's Northern. I'm from Yorkshire but don't have a strong Yorkshire accent I just have a Northern accent, like people never believe I'm from the place I'm from because I don't sound like I am but you can definitely tell I'm northern... honestly there are so many accents in England... you can drive for two hours in any direction in England and the accent will change like two times at least it's insane... see a lot of people say that but I am not a HUGE fan of the northern accent and I think it's because I grew up there. I much prefer Dani's accent to Jamie's but like I said to me, Jamie just talks normal there is no accent really haha Yeah 4k words for it but it's all jumbled up it's not like a chronological story yet it's just all over the place haha but I hope I can get it all structured properly soon!!
