Sometimes I love being a hoarder who never throws anything away. Just added an Italian dictionary to my cart on wob, then went “wait, better make sure I don’t own one” I do own one 🤦🏻♀️
#at least i didn’t buy it before realising#when i tell you i have so many random language textbooks. german phrasebook. czech phrasebook. BIG french dictionary i assume is left over#from gcse. italian dictionary#i might sell my spanish textbooks. then again i might not. idk#i’m pretty serious about italian and i don’t think i’ll be going back to spanish for years if ever because the languages are so similar#i already mix them up constantly#i’m making flashcards for italian rn which is why i needed a dictionary and i nearly wrote barato instead of economico#i’m going to try the fluent forever method which is.. it’s a lot of flashcards. it’s so many flashcards#i thought i was going to use google translate to put them together but then i realised google translate explains nothing and i also don’t#trust google that well due to ai. i’d rather just use this little collins dictionary#anyway. i’m going to double check what i’ve already got and then start on my deck!#this would probably be so much faster on my laptop but i know realistically i’ll be pulling up the anki deck on my phone more often than not#so i want to make sure it looks okay there#personal
