I saw u mention akaashi throwing u a surprise party so if I may…. *ahem*

• he goes above and beyond planning this party for you. he has a little secret notebook of everything birthday related, from what kind of decorations and desserts you’d want, to every little thing you mentioned in passing over the course of the entire year :3

• also in his notebook are many many drafts of an annual birthday love letter he wants to give you, but he just NEEDS to make sure that it’s absolutely perfect and that he gets across that you are so so so so special and important to him <3

• keiji is So Good at keeping it a secret too, I think. he has everything under wraps. not in a way where he like pretends to forget ur bday, just in a way that leads u to believe he’s keeping bday plans low key and not planning a party. sneaky sneaky.

• he gets your preferred flavour of everything of course, and he assigns your friends different jobs so you don’t get suspicious about why he suddenly has to go and buy streamers or balloons. he wants it to be perfect.

• he really debates not telling Bokuto too far ahead because he fears his ability to accidentally let things slip, but he eventually realizes he needs help decorating and moving furniture around, and getting someone over requires working around schedules, so he enlists his help and Bokuto is over the moon that he’s in on the surprise because he ALSO wants things to be perfect for you :3

• the day of the party, when everyone is headed to the house to set up the cake and desserts and other last minute things, he makes sure to have you out of the house. date night baybeeeeee!!!

• he brings you to your favourite lunch spot, then you spend some time walking up and down the street and doing some window shopping, maybe you sit at a park for a bit with some ice cream… he enjoys the last little bit of alone time he’ll have with you on your birthday until the party’s over.

• makes sure to be very very very affectionate with you (well. as much as he can be in public) because he’ll be missing out on having you close while you’re mingling and having fun with your friends. he doesn’t mind one bit tho, because he loves seeing you happy and that’s top priority for him always.

hi okay omg thank you sm 🥹 so basically i had this growing crush on a friend/classmate since the start of this year,, it wasn't so big of a crush that i wanted to date them so bad but i really enjoyed their company, personality and found them really attractive 😭 we've been seatmates since the year started and he kept jokingly teasing and flirting with me and i found myself feeling giddy every time but i found out someone confessed to them before the year ended and he reciprocated so i just felt kinda led on 🥲 honestly i kinda saw it coming bc his friends teased him about this person a lot but it's still kinda 💔💔💔 and tbf all the flirty remarks weren't specially for me anyway he tells them to his group of friends too 😭 i'm getting over it now but him being my seatmate makes it really difficult 😭😭😭

i believe in you and ik you’ll make it through 2023!!!! i was dreading the year too bc my family went through a major change end of dec, and before it happened i was so paranoid and scared all the time thinking about how i’d get through it, but it’s been about 2 weeks now and i’m coping surprisingly well (for my standards at least 🥲), ig what i’m trying to say is things will always seem more daunting before they happen which is completely reasonable, but after some time you’ll realise you’re getting through it the best you can 💗💗 of course it’s totally okay to have bad days but those won’t last forever too, and don’t forget to look out for your health and general well-being, we got this hehe 🫶🏻🫶🏻

I’m also dealing with a ship ton of pressure for an upcoming licensure exam and I feel like anxiety and over exertion of my efforts just threw me with days of feeling nothing and doing nothing but sleeping.

Ugh, since when did life get like this? Weren’t we just enjoying ourselves with friends and entertainment shows. Right?! I'm so relieved (not in a way to make you feel bad in any form) that I'm not the only one who felt that way. We were such carefree kids and now I really wonder what on earth was going on inside my head when I thought it would be cool to grow up.

I really hope you do well in your exam, which you will! I'm curious, what is this licensure exam about? Sounds cool! (even though I'm sure it would seem far from that for you at the moment hehe). I'm super super glad you're here too. Don't worry about feeling like that. Tumblr has always been a safe place... there'd always be someone, if not many, who understands you and could help you either destress or simply share your pain with you. I'm glad you felt seen... sometimes that's the only thing we need. Validation. Reassurance. Love. Comfort.

I pray all of your efforts would be rewarded tenfold too.
