Who else is ready to get cozzzyyy! Sautéed oyster mushroom toast, butternut squash soup, tomato soup, last bit of the tomato sandwiches as tomato season comes to an end, miso pasta, miso soup, homemade garlic bread, homemade stews! Making cinnamon buns on a rainy weekend in a cozy sweater, listening to swan lake while meal prepping, candle lit dinners, fall shows, seasonal foods, knitting, oh we are so back. Lots and lots of leeks! I’m very much into gourmand scents right now for candles and perfumes I’m going to embrace it.

Going to research cozy horror as a post got me thinking but I didn’t want to bother the op with my tag ramble
#essentially I’m trying to understand how these two things intersect#what makes the horror in cozy horror both cozy. and still scary#I’m curious#I’ve noticed a trend in this with like#cozy games or cozy fantasy#I’m not super interested in the cozy genre as a whole but I can understand#why somebody would be#but I guess I’m extra curious to see how this works with horror because I’ve already seen examples with games or fantasy books

Spirited away is also a strong contestant because it used to be my favorite growing up. Havin another rough day besties
#tw pet death#I think my childhood dog is dying#I mean i know she’s dying she was diagnosed with heart failure a few months ago#but she’s been doing okay on her meds#she went for a nice walk yesterday#but I think the dying part may be happening very soon#she refused food today and we had to force feed her her meds#and she hasn’t really moved around much on her own#she only went outside if I went with and she was clearly struggling to walk#at one point we were all hanging out outside and she was cozy in a blanket and when we started going inside#my dad had to carry her because she wouldn’t follow on her own#she just kinda seems like she’s done#and our other dog has been extra clingy all day#usually he lays on top of her but he’s been so gentle and cautious and refusing to leave her side#and it seems like she’s just kinda ready to go and she’s had a good long life#but I’m not ready for her to go
