Right new plan for the werewolf Shadowheart AU;

Isobel comes back to life a bit earlier. She flees her father and without the Harpers stumbling upon her after she wakes up she decides to go to Baldur’s Gate (as that seems to be most people’s reaction to everything) unfortunately Shar decides to have her followers capture her as punishment for her father turning away from her. Her memory is wiped with the intention of turning her to Shar (yes she keeps trying the same plans) but Isobel is able to escape before that happens.

Unfortunately (again) when Isabel gets out onto the streets of Baldur’s Gate is exactly when the mind flayer attack happens and she gets tadpoled.

My thoughts are that she’d lack huge chunks of her memory but no where near the amount that Shadowheart does (who also has no idea that Isobel was a resent captive because she’s been on her mission) She’s still a cleric because that’s something she’d held onto really strongly and has some memory here and there but she doesn’t remember Aylin’s name for example, just that she’s lost someone very close to her.

I’m going to have to work how act 2 would go since she wouldn’t be there to help the Harpers but I’m loving this idea. It’s a nice mix of the Selûnite vs Sharran forbidden romance that I really like and the bonding over amnesia plus I love the potential of Isobel and Shadowheart having this start of a romance going on but then it gets stopped because Shadowheart gets distracted by Shar and THEN Isobel discovers who her father is AND that she has a lover that very much isn’t dead.

i find myself gritting my teeth, having my stomach turn, and disturbed by the ease of dehumanization most of the capitol has but what i find the most vile is snow doesn’t. snow is aware of the tributes’ humanity, but their humanity isn’t important to him. it doesn’t advance his status, so it means nothing to him.

I love seeing characters make the wrong choice. Like logically, morally, whatever. It should be so easy, so obvious, to do something right for once! But they don’t see it or they don’t care. Their instincts always lead them to choose poorly. Bad for them but great for me because it’s so interesting and I like to watch the suffering. ^_^

I know it's not how you rationalize it to yourself, but your posts about Israel/palestine come off as a support of the destruction of Gaza and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. Insisting that it's a war (Palestine isn't allowed to have an army, and Israel cannot claim self-defence against a territory they occupy), denying that Israel is at fault, obscuring support of Palestine in general as being motivated by antisemitism - it paints a picture.

At least 30 000, probably closer to 100 000 Palestinians have been killed as of now. That is so monumentally worse than anything currently happening to Israel / zionists. So when you spend most of your energy focusing on those wrongs, or insisting that people talking about Palestine should focus on them, it comes off as brushing it off or trying to diminish its importance.

You don't have to answer, as I'll be blocking you, but I'm asking you to please consider what you're willing to support, excuse or tone down, and why. I know what it's like to be too focused on the discrimination we're facing to really take in what other groups might be going through.
