This woman(my mom) right here means the world to me. I wouldn't be half the young woman I am today had it not been for her. God placed me in her life for a reason, one that's shown to me with each passing day. I've told her before, that I'd do anything and everything that she asked of me. I'd move the mountains on Earth if her smile graced me all the days of my life. My appreciation knows no bounds and neither does my love for you. Whatever the Lord has in store for you, I plan to be there whenever I can. There is no shortage of blessings headed your way. I still can't believe that He gave me the best mother possible because you still astound me to this day. I love you to the moon and back. I pray for you and I know that when the tides have turned and the seas have calmed, glory is waiting for you with open arms.

What is heartbreak to someone who has looked her first love in the eye and turned from them numb and aching? Can I truly be blamed for the concern given towards me or lack thereof?

No man will have the power to take the place that he holds in sentimentality now. The wooden pedestal, thorny and rotten, inscribed by the words "First Heartbreak" holds a bust of his likeness, immortalizing the pain he put me through; that my heart has yet to recover from.
