Note
☩ for Claudia/Lil
@gothamrains (wives!)
Today’s one of those rare days where the kids are with Amya and Kris, and they’re given time to themselves. Claudia had told Kris and Amya the two of them were going out, but the truth of the matter was, Claudia and Lil are staying in bed all day. Claudia feels like they deserve it after the complicated week they’ve had and she wanted nothing more than a little time alone with her wife.
The two of them decide to have breakfast in bed, thanks to doordash. And the two of them are enjoying eating their meal together, quietly, Claudia occasionally turning to look at Lil; and Lil occasionally turning to look at Claudia.
To be honest, Claudia’s in awe of how beautiful her wife is. How her blonde hair goes past her shoulders and she has light sprinkles of freckles across her nose and cheeks that remind her of the constellations and stars. Claudia also likes the light tan she has from their trips to the beach.
“You’re staring,” Lil states to her, cooly, yet not annoyed. “It’s hard not to when you look so beautiful,” Claudia counters, grinning like a fool, the scar on her lip and the scar across her cheek more apparent because she’s not wearing makeup that covers most of it up. She touches the scar on her lip self-consciously, becoming more aware of it.
Lil kisses the scar on her cheek and softly says, “No,” before she gives her a kiss on the lips where the scar on her lips is. Claudia finds herself turning a bright shade of red, unable to resist the fluttery feeling she gets from her wife’s affection and love. Though people say that Lil is too weird or incapable of love, her wife loves her and their children so very much and it makes her incredibly happy when she reminds her with affectionate gestures like these. “Beautiful, as always.” Lil then runs her index finger over the scar Claudia’s lip, and then along the scars on her cheek, and again kisses them, again. “I love you.”
The declaration of love would have scared her years ago, but now they’re so easy to spill out. “I love you, too.” And then Cloud smiles at her.

wrote this for my friends in a server earlier but figured someone might be able to use it here as well
ojo’s tips for being this quarantine period as I was completely housebound in a room for about 2 years straight and still get out very rarely eg. I haven’t left my house in 3 months dhfkd so i’ve picked up some stuff on the way (some of these tips were from online sources but i’ve edited them from my own personal experiences)
-please eat well and at fixed times!! this is so important because when you get stuck at home the days kind of just dissolve into one another and you end up losing a routine which makes things even harder! eating well and at fixed times will help you feel more stability when everything else feels like it’s not in your control, this is literally the most important thing if you lose a routine everything gets very disoriented and that’s not fun (this also goes for sleeping and showering!!)
-@ that point give yourself a routine but !! don’t fall into a rut! give yourself something new to do everyday/challenge yourself with diff things (this can include just trying out something new like a recipe you’ve never made before or an art of fitness challenge etc) your brain needs some Variety and if you fall into a rut you end up getting unmotivated to do anything at all
-talk to people!! we need interaction! while you can’t go out try to talk to someone even if it’s just online!
-take up a hobby!! while it’s fun to catch up on shows and movies you’ve been waiting to see, you might also end up feeling bored and unproductive which leads to being unmotivated (see above) so again try to take up a hobby or pursue an interest, there’s loads of websites that teach you skills for free and you could pick those up as well! keep yourself busy!
-that being said there will be days where you don’t feel like doing much and that’s okay don’t be too hard on yourself, it’s okay to take a break every now and then but pls do take care of yourself and still eat, sleep and shower with a routine!
-try to have a goal or activity planned for each day so you feel like you have a reason to get out of bed! it can be the smallest things like today i’ll colour in a picture or anything dhfks (also have a plan B as well! sometimes you might not be able to do plan A for whatever reason and this helps with feeling like you weren’t able to ~complete your goal~)
-write a list of things you’re looking forward to doing when you will be able to go out! it may feel like a reminder of stuff you aren’t able to do right now but it’ll help!
-bring the outside in! open up your curtains! if you have indoor plants make a little garden! daylight makes a huge difference!
-for stuff to do: arts, crafts, puzzles (jigsaws or otherwise), if you can play games with people online watch stuff, listen to podcasts, take free classes, find people to talk to online from diff parts of the world, writing, reading, scrapbooking, challenge yourself to take interesting pics from angles of your house you haven’t explored before, join a forum for something you’re interested in to find people who share the same interests, help someone else online! (bonus it’ll also make you feel better too!), learn a new language, etc etc
-try to stay off the news and constant updates for a while, it’ll help you be more in the moment instead of constantly worrying about the future and what’s to come and when this will end and stuff
(also if you’re able to go out at all try to get some fresh air! it’ll help so much! even just opening up your windows is a great step!)
i remember how hard it was for me when i first started struggling with this, i’m used to it now but i know how difficult it can be pls take care everyone it can be really isolating and finding stuff to do or people to talk to even online helps a lot i’ve found! so please take care of yourself! physically, mentally and emotionally! 💞🥰
