Hi, I don't know if you still check this inbox but your blog has the best Danger Man screenshots I have ever seen. Would you mind telling me where you got the high-res screenshots from? I'm starting to think you remastered the film copy yourself :)

Ahhhh, thanks for your message - I am still working on new posts but I was shocked the other day to realize that it's been over a year since the last one...real life is an abominable nuisance. As for the screen shots - I wish I had access to those masters! Sadly, with the demise of Network, there is no hope now we will ever see a Bluray release for the series. Only three Danger Man episodes got the HD Bluray treatment from Network: View from the Villa, Colony Three, and No Marks for Servility. All other screenshots on my Tumblr are from the DVDs. xxx

First, I love all your reviews and recommendations but now my list of watched shows is getting too long and I need to organise them. Can you please give me more information on how you set up your spreadsheet. I have name, country, year, number of episodes, run time, my rating, what else should I include? Please help me organise this BL list nightmare.

The spreadsheet of doom has columns for the following:

code - that’s a short search code for me personally so I can find screen caps stored on my hd, but also the one you see @heretherebedork and I (in particular) using as shorthand when we chat, e.g. UWMA & FUTS.

MDL - whether the show is on My Drama List or not (Y, N, na, and R) na = Vietnam & Cambodia, R = I reviewed it. (I also use MDL as a kind of back up and because I track all the other Asian dramas I watch there, although I don’t rate the het stuff) - you probubly don’t need this one if you don’t watch VBL or use MDL. I’m considering deleting this column since it’s redundant. 

year - generally the year the show is given on MDL (release year, rather than completed year), which conflicts with when I post and talk about shows - i.e. Bad Buddy I consider a 2022 show (when it ended), MDL lists it as 2021 (when it started) 

title - generally the one we talk about it here (as opposed to whatever MDL or Viki decides on)

subtitle (or alternate title) - the other one 

origin - who produced it, I pick the dominant language for those co-produced, so Korea got Peach of Time, Taiwan got Because of You, Thailand got Present Perfect (there are so few of these I keep track of them in a post rather then on the spreadsheet) 

rating - in my case, out of 10, i dislike an out of 5 rating system

apx hrs - so this is my best guess at the finished hour total FRESH content for each series, since (for me) length of treatment is important to track when answering wave data and exponential growth questions 

length - this is the column needed to calculate the previous one, so it’s: number of episodes X length of episode - average % of credits/recaps/stingers sponsors (usually around 22%)  

main trope - so like the major romance trope foundation of the story, enemies to lovers etc... 

sub trope - cohabitation, paranormal, etc... 

setting - home, office, r&b (restaurant & beverage), university, high school, historical 

pair tone - pining, crush, soft, hard, etc... 

main pair - grumpy/sunshine, sunshine/tsundere etc... AKA archetypes in play 

couple - the names of the two lead characters 

heat - rated from 0-3

kiss - graded from 1-10 

sub paring - side dishes 

sub pairing couple - names of the side dishes 

kiss - the side couple’s rating 

source - which platform is hosting the show

link - to that show at it’s current source (that I know of) 

MDL - a link to the show on My Drama List 

R - whether I personally have digital hard copy or not, and whether I want to 

trigger - any notes I have about traumatic elements 

pitch - my short paragraph summation, if I wrote one 

review link - a link to my review on tumblr

Things I wish I included from the start!

DATE I FINISHED WATCHING IT - because I didn't track this I failed to track my own taste and journey through the genre (MDL tracks this for me, now, but I didn’t have an MDL account at the start) 

actor couple/ship name - like OffGun etc... only recently has become necessary since prior to this they had maxed out at 3 

language or caption/translation notes/links etc... - this would mostly be for the Thai stuff for me, but like there’s a great convo about the language used in DNA on one of my blog posts right now and I wish I had a place to store that info 

directors - specifically because of Vietnamese BL, otherwise MDL mostly tracks this so not necessarily except for sorting reasons 

native language title - as in, in the script of the country of origin, or in the case of Japan YET ANOTHER title (I could also use this column to track things like MAMEverse, or Japan’s linked movies) - again MDL has this info 

adaptation - if it was from a manga, manwha, or y-novel and who wrote it - MDL has this info tho 

OTS - not me, but you might want to consider this since it’s a popular topic, if you happen to be into the audio side of BL tracking the MV of the theme songs might be useful  

Production house/studio - used to be there were so few it didn’t matter what their records was, now it does 

My memory is SO SO bad ya’ll. Now the spreadsheet acts as a brain back up devise too. 

I also color code:

blue for ones I am going to try to get hold of hc,

red for ones in progress (currently airing),

grey for short works (anything that’s fh total is under 45min).

pink for ones I just can not find

So my spreadsheet was designed originally for tracking wave data, hence my prioritized intersted in calculating length and run times of fresh content, then I evolved it to be a review tracking system. But that wasn’t how it started. So it’s messier and less comprehensive than I’d like for its current use. (But honestly, that’s the nature of ALL long running data sets.) 

But at 400+ is now too large for me to modify from memory, and 80% of BL I never want to watch again, so it takes a lot to add a new column now.

I also have a tab where I track my rating system. 

And a tab where I track my tumblr posts and reviews and such. I started doing that because I am terrible at tagging (and tumblr keeps shadow banning tags and I can never remember which ones are “safe”) so I just could never find anything in my own blog. I needed to do this because people would ask the same question here. 

Speaking of which, I’ve actually answered this question before. But I didn’t track it, to my shame. 

When I do this:

Hunter Drones V

Jaune: Okay… Begin recording: Test, HD DAI #17… Subject fail… Haaa… oh boy… Test subject HD DAI #17 failed to establish proper electronic connections to neural links in order to form a conscious. Link connections rejected one another and therefore refused to form a connection. Several possible solutions are available to me, mostly testing connections nodes on separate test samples, however, It is unclear if it would work on an actual, HD DAI, potentially more test subjects will fail. They say failure is the price to success, however, how many times must I fail in order to succeed…? End recording. Haaa… bugger…

OAI: This test did appear more successful than the previous attempts.

Jaune: Yes, but the link connections didn’t establish fast enough, and rejected one another at that. It self terminated the program before even you can attempt to fix the problem. This isn’t good… Haa… Okay! Lets start the next series of tests.

OAI: We will have to delay the test, Professor.

Jaune: Eh, why?

OAI: General James Ironwood, and Specialist Winter Schnee, have been waiting outside the office for the past twenty minutes.

Jaune: What?! Why didn’t you let them in?!

OAI: I explained to them you were in the mist of an important test, there intrusion may have tampered with results of the experiment, rending it an overall failure.

Jaune: Good reasoning… Wait, are they still outside?

OAI: Affirmative.

Jaune: W-What are you waiting for, let them in!

OAI: At once, Sir.

Ironwood: Professor Arc, good afternoon.

Jaune: G-General Ironwood, nice to see you again… do you require something, Sir.

Ironwood: Yes, I wish to ask you several questions regarding the, Hunter Drones.

Jaune: Oh, I’d be happy to answer any questions you have then

Winter: Before that, who was the person who stopped us from entering? She said she was your assistant, but, I don’t remember meeting anyone else besides you, and the other Hunter Drones before.

Jaune: Ahh, well, since you’re asking about the Hunter Drones, OAI is the prime place to start.

Ironwood: OAI?

Jaune: Would you like to introduce yourself, OAI?

OAI: With pleasure, Sir.

Ironwood: What, the?

Winter: What?

OAI: Greetings, General, Specialist. I am OAI: the, Original Artificial Intelligence, the first AI that, Professor Arc created. I was used as the bases of the artificial intelligences that was used in the, Hunter Drones. I am the, Professor assistant helping him with any tasks that he requires me for.

Ironwood: An AI… You created an AI?

Jaune: Yes! Uhh… is that a problem…?

Ironwood: Possibly… Is there a reason why I wasn’t made aware that you had created such a scientific marvel?

Jaune: I filed the report to let you know I made it. Did you not get it?

Ironwood: You filed a report?

Jaune: Yes, as per regulations I filed my routine reports.

Ironwood: And, this was done when?

Jaune: Uhh… OAI?

OAI: You filed a report about my activation, as well as a detailed analysis about my activation and potential possibilities, approximately 73 days ago.

Ironwood: Tell me, was that report about a dozen or so pages long?

OAI: 17.5 pages, Sir.

Ironwood: Ahh, that explains why I wasn’t made aware of it.

Jaune: Eh, you didn’t read my report…?

Ironwood: I am a busy man, Professor, I do not have time to read a highly detailed report on matters I can scarcely comprehend.

Jaune: Ahh… That makes sense…

Winter: OAI?

OAI: Yes, Specialist Schnee?

Winter: You said, you were the bases for the AI used in the Hunter Drones, how so?

OAI: Professor Arc, used several copies of my AI matrix as the basis for the conscious within the Hunter Drones, the mind and soul as you would describe it.

Ironwood: So, you could create an infinite amount of copies of OAI’s artificial intelligence and create and infinite amount of Hunter Drones…? Interesting…

Jaune: Uhh… No… No, I can’t, Sir…

Ironwood: Explain?

Jaune: I never wanted to use, OAI as the first Hunter Drone, out of fear for losing her AI matrix, out of everything I have yet created, I doubt any will compare to OAI, hence why the, ‘O’ was added to its name, designating it as the first AI, the original AI. So, to persevere OAI, is started making copies of its AI Matrix. That’s when certain problems arose…

Ironwood: Such as?

Jaune: Generation Loss.

Ironwood: And that is?

Winter: Quality degradation of a subject that has been copied numerous times. Such problems occur in printed copies of photos and text on paper. However, it takes hundreds of copies before the first sign of Generation Loss appears, and does not appear when copying computer code, regardless of how many times it is copied.

Jaune: You are correct, Specialist Schnee, it shouldn’t show any sign of degradation, and yet it does…

Ironwood: How so? Your, Hunter Drones seem to operate just fine. Minus a few, personal quirks within each model.

Jaune: That, that’s the issue!

Ironwood: Explain.

Jaune: The Hunter Drones, AI is designated as, DAI, Duplicated Artificial Intelligence, indicating that they are copies of, OAI. They are completely identical to OAI, nothing is different between them, until they are placed into their Housing Units.

Winter: Housing Unit? The heads on the Hunter Drones which contains their minds?

Jaune: Correct, its the brain as it were. I would name it something more catchy, but naming things has never been my strong suit… Anyway, the HD DAI’s are placed within their Housing Units, they are then placed within the, Manufactory, and…

Ironwood: Hold up, what is this, Manufactory?

Jaune: Good grief… the is like an info dump mid season in an anime… So boring… Okay! So, when the HD DAI has been uploaded into the the Housing Unit, it is then placed in the, Manufactory, after that it creates its own body, based on its own preferences.

Ironwood: Preferences? You mean that the, Hunter Drones will decide their appearance, I thought you did that.

Jaune: Me, no, I didn’t, they did, surprisingly… When the, Housing Unit was placed in the, Manufactory, OAI, was going to create the body, however, as the operation was starting, the HD DAI took over and designed herself.

Winter: And, you allowed this to happen?

Jaune: I didn’t expect it to happen. It was HD DAI #1, the first time I ever did this, I had no idea what would happen after I uploaded her mind into the Housing Unit. So, I let it play out and see what could happen. Thus we got Hunter.Drone. Duplicate.Artificial.Intelligence #1 Codename: Yang. She is a personality and a being all of her own design.

Ironwood: And, then what, did you start replicating OAI’s matrix to see how they would be formed?

Jaune: Correct, after Yang’s creation I continued to create copies, and uploading them into Housing Units, I started noticing some problems…

Ironwood: Problems, such as?

Jaune: Well, HD OAI #2 Codename: Blake. I expected her to turn out like, Yang appearance, and personality wise. The fact that she designed herself as a faunas completely caught me off guard. I then created HD’s AOI #3 and #4. Ruby and Penny, in that order, and then I noticed their… unique personalities.

Winter: Their eccentric personalities, and their genocidal desire to kill humans and faunas alike?

Jaune: Yeah, that… I didn’t see why that happened. So, I scanned their Matrixes, and discovered something concerning.

Ironwood: Such as?

Jaune: Since OAI, hasn’t be uploaded into a Housing Unit, I didn’t know how they would adapt to the Housing Units, and each unit has shown signs of, Generation Loss. Yang’s Matrix is nye on identical to OAI’s, however several nodes meant to have the two connect to one another to establish, a life if you will, didn’t connect together properly. It was the first so I didn’t know what would happen, so I did it again, but each unit has less nodes forming a proper connection. The connection is strong enough that they work, they just get a little odd…

Winter: That’s putting it lightly…

Jaune: Yeah, so after, Penny I tried, HD DOI # 5. That’s where the problem properly revealed themselves.

Ironwood: Based on the fact there is only four, Hunter Drones, it failed to establish a proper connection?

Jaune: Worse… so much worse… It connected, but the connections were wrong, forced, fried, intermingled, wrong, just wrong. The programming didn’t input itself correctly and it basically drove itself insane, and self-terminated itself.

Winter: It committed suicide?

Jaune: In a way, yes. Now, every DAI I try and upload into its, Housing Unit, fails to make any proper connections or make any connections in general. Before the DAI’s are placed into the Housing Unit, it’s fine, completely identical to OAI’s no problem. But, as soon as they’re placed into the, Housing Units they just fall apart. The, Housing Unit’s, and the DAI’s are identical to each version I have previously created, they shouldn’t destroy themselves like this, and yet they do.

Ironwood: And you have no idea how to fix this?

Jaune: Yet! I will fix this, mark my words: I will not allow all my hard work, and effort go to waste because I got the wrong plug in! I will fix this, it is only a matter of when, and how!

Ironwood: I see, very well, Professor, I shall take my leave, and leave you to it.

Jaune: Eh, there isn’t anything else you want to ask?

Ironwood: No, you have more or less answered all of them. Until later, Professor.

Jaune: Uh… alright. Nice see you, General! It’s also n-nice to see you too, Winter…

Winter: You as well, Jaune.

Jaune: Okay… what shall we do next then?

The witty banter between you and June continued on as you lightly pushed each other with the tips of your shoulders. You loosely made your way down the streets of New York, heading over to Times Square where the Saki ceremony was happening. June wrapped an arm around your shoulder, dragging you into her hips as she laughed away, something about her husband and a holiday gone wrong in Hawaii.

"And then Bernie, poor soul, thought he could do better than the guy that worked there! Ended up setting the whole roof on fire! I told him not to grab that tiki torch, but he said 'Women, ain't nothin' that I've never handled before'." June imitated her husband, her frame becoming bulky and stiff, her voice deepening. You cackled along with her, weaving in and out of crowds, the symphony of brass deathless when you were talking with her. June's laughter faded out, the air surrounding you both becoming more melancholy.

June held a warm smile, you could tell she was trying to be brave, put up a front. Her smile faltered as she spoke, "God rest his soul, I'm just happy he didn't have to live through this."

"Would he have complied?" you asked. You faintly remembered Bernie, always emitting a hard-work ethic but seemed to like his downtime just as much, he was often seen catering to his small garden allotment on the roof; grew the biggest carrots you would have ever seen! June looked towards you, eyes visibly watering but she drowned the feeling, "Honey, he would have fought until his dying breath. My Bernie never believed in a world like this, he wouldn't take it sitting down. He was the bravest man I'd ever met."

June's lip began to tremble, her gaze faltering to the cracked concrete of the street. Thinking quickly, you grabbed her hand and tightened your grip around it. She flicked her gaze back to you, copying the smile you sent her way, "You must miss him a lot," you tried to whisper, almost forgetting you were amongst a large crowd. June shook her head, "I miss him every single day, but he's never too far from me." she tapped her fingertips against her heart, feeling the beats of the organ in time with her patting.

What a wonderful way to look at things, you wish you could do the same. But I guess, unlike June, your parents were taken from you by another human being, not a disease. "He was a good man," you spoke, June squeezed your hand again, "The best," she mused.

As you approached closer to the main stage, your eyes travelled along the roster of goons the Foot had corralled together. Rocksteady, Fishface, Tigerclaw. The moment you laid eyes on him, you instinctively pulled your hood up, hiding your face from his beady sight. June looked at you then back to the stage, leaning in closer, she whispered to you: "Have some sort of run-in with the cat?"

You simply nodded your head, suddenly finding the ability to talk useless. A deadly assassin such as himself would be able to pinpoint your voice from a mile away, and you had barely escaped the last time you had seen him. The crowd gathered in small clumps, dispersed along the front of the stage and way out into the distance. Huge screens were built into the skyscrapers, a HD image of the Queen of the Foot flickering onto the screen. Her smile seemed rotten, the way her eyes squinted under the harsh lights seemed rotten, hell, even the way she walked seemed rotten.

This woman was parading around her dead master, the same guy who levelled New York and killed thousands, as though it meant nothing to the people he had killed, the lives he had taken. Besides her was a tall picture of Oroku Saki, no helmet, no scars. It was like you were at a funeral for a celebrity, although no one knew him personally they all showed up to pay their respects. But I guess, in this case, it was either show up or be sent as some freaky test subject to the eternal hell pit under the Foot tower.

Speaking of crowds, you had never seen so many people in New York, since the bombing anyway. On closer inspection, many members were from gangs, and more so just Footbots sent to watch over any civilian that found themselves brave enough to stand up. The light tapping echoing around the buildings caught your attention, as it did for most others. Karai beamed at the people gathered below her, where they belong she mused, "People of The Foot Empire, today we celebrate the life of Oroku Saki. A mentor, a leader...a father. He was taken from this world far too soon, still wanting to make an impact before he died, he made me the new leader of the Foot. I took the mantel with the utmost respect for his work and the legacy he leaves, something that I hope to do just as good as him."

The Footbots patrolling around the crowds suddenly become alert, eyes glowing a brighter shade of red as they seemingly vanished from the crowds. You had thought you saw one go inside one of the many buildings, but you weren't certain. June nudged you with her elbow, indicating with her head that you should be paying attention to Karai. Begrudgingly, you focused your concentration back on the spoiled brat, brain-melting from all the lies.

You knew what you saw when you stormed the Foot labs, all the poor people locked in cages, oozing green. You remembered the tapestries littered along the walls depicting the Foot's rise to the top, the very man they praised wielding swords drenched in blood. You remember sneaking into a museum of some sorts, held every sort of memorabilia from The Shredder. What scared you the most was the silver gleam of his helmet, apparently the only physical thing left of him, or so the engraving beside the glass case said.

You shook your head of the thoughts, focusing on the muttering crowd and angered Karai. Funny, was her face always that red? Her hands were braced against the podium she stood at, occupants closer to her could see the strain she was putting on the wooden slab; splintering under her fingers. With a harsh glare and smack to her armed guards, she roared into the microphone: "What's going on!"

The spotlights pointed at the stage flashed off, the Foot clan no longer illuminated in a godly light. Karai once again turned to her guards, Tigerclaw seemed alert while Rocksteady and Fishface lounged in their plastic chairs. "Footbots to m-" the microphone cut out, ending Karai's sentence, a small sigh of relief flooded the crowd. She continued to rage on, her voice just loud enough to reach your ears. Two Footbots approached her side and stood guard, for what? You weren't quite sure but you were definitely happy June dragged you out now.

Without warning, two thin lengths of rope dropped down from the skyscraper above the ceremony. Its cords wrapping around each bot and yanking it into the air, never to be seen again. Karai turned back to see her guards gone, her head flicked upwards, internally screaming when the two bots clanged together against the broken windows high above them. Tigerclaw stepped further on the stage, a gun raised in his paws, with a quick bark Rocksteady and Fishface were by his side, weapons cocked and ready to fire.

The air was quiet, most people had scattered, not wanting to be caught up in a gunfight. You had stayed, obviously, if the Foot were going down you wanted to be there. June had watched the scene transpire with you, her mind telling her to run but her legs stayed stationary, "(Y/N), we should get out of here." she uttered to you. You shook your head 'no', opting to push her to safety, "I can't stand here and do nothing, I need to fight."

June reached out a hand and gently rubbed your cheek, a small smile gracing her lips, "You're just like my Bernie," Her hand on your cheek fell to her side, she quickly embraced you in a hug, forcing all her love onto you like you were her own child, "Unlike Bernie, come back to me, I can't lose you both." she whispered into your ear. Pulling back, you gave her a firm nod, "I promise, now go!" your hands dragged out the further she stepped away, eventually, your hand was holding nothing but air as you watched her run with a small group of civilians.

At least she's safe you conceived yourself. You made your way closer to the main stage, weaving and ducking through rampant crowds and loaded Footbots. Hiding behind a trash can, you continued to watch the show in front of you. Every mutant was surrounding Karai, all consistently rotating around her in case the attack came from any direction. Yet they failed to look up.

"Booyakasha!" came a voice from above, loud and full of life. Three silhouettes dropped from some grappling hooks, each bearing a weapon aimed at a member of the Foot. A fourth silhouette dropped from the sky, landing purposefully onto Fishface, sending the mutant unconscious instantly. "Who's next?" he spits out, sais held tightly in his fists. Your eyes widened, these guys were actually going to attack the Foot? And they said it could never be done you internally laughed to yourself.

"Karai, a few years ago I would have said this isn't you, this wasn't your path...your family." one of the men said, his head seemed to be bowing down. Karai looked bemused, a devious smirk on her lips, "Well, Leonardo, I thought you were dead. But I guess like my father, I should never assume, huh?"

"Karai, I'm not the same teenager that would let this shit slide. You have to face consequences at some point, the people of New York didn't deserve this. You're just as, if not as, bad as The Shredder. You had a family, a home, Splint-"

"Don't you dare say his name! That man was a fool, he killed my family not Saki! As long as you and your brothers are alive, New York will continue to suffer!" her arm flew out, indicating to the remaining guards to attack.

The Footbots on the streets moved with an accuracy only seen in movies, blades slashing streetlights and banners, jumping and blocking people from escaping. You watched in horror as a small boy hunched over his sister, backing slowly into a corner while a Footbot dragged along a pointed blade; the concrete sparking under its weight. You didn't want to know what the heinous thing was going to do with it, instead, you ran, your ran as fast as you could. Launching from the ground, your grappled onto it's back and rammed it into the side of the brick wall.

You dropped to the ground the moment it's head banged the concreate, rolling to a complete stop in front of the two children, "Stay behind me," you commanded. They whimpered but did as you said, eyes tracing the ninja in black, it's blade was pulled out and held high. Using that to your advantage, you sprinted over to it, dropping to a skid before it could slice your form. Sliding under it's legs with ease, you quickly turned and delivered a kick to it's back. The bot stumbled forward, a hand gripping the wall to keep itself steady. While it was recovering you snapped the blade from it's hand and shouted to the children: "Cover your eyes!"

They complied instantly, the brother shunning his sister's vision while she did the same to him. You wielded the blade above you, bringing it down with force as it collided through the bot's torso. It's body sparked, blue fluid leaking out of it as it cluttered to the ground. Dropping the blade with a clang, you dashed to the cowering kids. "Hey, hey, it's okay now. You're safe." your calming voice was enough to lull them into a false hope, they would never truly be safe while the world was like this. But hope is what people believe in and who are you to deny two children of believing in something.

Swooping them into your arms, you braced yourself for a moment, eyes scanning the environment surrounding you. "Hold on tight, okay?" you whispered to the kids, they nodded but you could feel their bones shaking. With an intake of breath, your trainers crunched against the raised gravel, dipping into indents in the wall to avoid shots. As you ran, you briefly looked towards the main stage, seeing the four silhouettes battling with Karai's mutants. They were shrouded in mystery, the heroes that is, you couldn't care less about the mutants; nothing but trouble they were.

Your eyes focused on the one wielding what appeared to be katanas, their fluid movements and light steps impressed you deeply, maybe when all this was over you should introduce yourself. You shook your head, there was no time to think about that now, all that mattered was getting these kids to safety then going to help your new best friends.

Dumping the children into the arms of a man hiding out with a small cluster of people, you told them to go south and don't stop running. They did as you said, holding hands as they went. You turned back to the stage, jogging up with caution. On your way, you dazed away from the fight, memories flooding your mind at the mere sight of the small card laying daintly on the ground. It seemed to illuminate with how clean it was compared to everything else around it. A Mother's day card.

It looked handmade, from the shaky crayon writing and backwards letters. A family of stick figures on the front all holding hands, surrounded by hearts. It brought you back to the times where you celebrated Mother's day, the breakfast in beds, the Jaws movie marathon, obviously followed by Die Hard after. The memories seemed to play like a recorded movie, flickering into the next year and the year after that. "Aw is this for me? To mummy, Happy Mother's Day to the best mummy ever! Lots and lots and lots of love, (Y/N), kisses." You felt the salty brim of tears swell up in the corners of your eyes, the quiver of your lip at the sound of her voice.

"Look out!" you felt the faint touch of a cold hand on your shoulder, though the feeling had quickly disappeared. The swish of hair as something travelled past your face stunned you for a moment, opting to take a look down you saw the remains of an active Footbot; one hand still outstretched. Lodged in it's chest was a blue-handled katana, spots of blue and red dribbling from it's bladed edge. Swivelling your head back to the stage you caught the stare of one of the silhouettes, from where you were you could faintly see the hint of blue in their eyes. Whoever it was had seemingly saved you from being Foot chow.

Your thanks would have to wait as it seemed the moment you shared with the mystery hero had passed, they continued to fight Tigerclaw with only one weapon in their hand. The glimmer and shine of the katana lodged in the Footbot's chest caught your attention, heaving the metal out of the torso was harder than you thought. Placing the bottom of your shoe against the creaking metal of the Footbot's back, you pulled the handle with all your might while shoving the torso closer to the ground. With a few stumbling steps, you held the blade in your hands, marvelling at the craftsmanship.

Your thumb wiped over the bloodied logo, revealing a symbol you thought you had seen from somewhere before, you just couldn't put your finger on it. Shrugging the feeling aside, you lifted the weapon and charged at any Footbot you saw, god this weapons heavier than it looks you moaned.

After a while, more bots surrounded you, each displaying a different weapon to crush your innards with. I wonder why they came to you, perhaps it was the constant screaming or the chaotic waving on the katana you held in a tight fist, maybe it was the repeated stabbing of one poor bot beneath your feet. Probably all three. Even though their eyes were emotionless you couldn't help feel the hate behind them, the evil stink-eye if you will.

Over on the stage, Leo swung again at Tigerclaw hoping to wear down the big cat, yet he seemed to have a lot of fight in him. His gaze however caught onto your small form in the distance, surrounded by Footbots and most likely inexperience at fighting, especially against robot ninjas. Calling over his shoulder to his youngest brother, Leo barked some orders: "Mikey, see that civilian over there! Go help them!"

Mikey followed Leo's pointed finger, smiling when he saw you. Quickly saluting his boss, Mikey dived from the stage with the grappling hook under his arm, "On it, boss!" he shouted over the fight. Too preoccupied with watching Mikey's shell bounce towards the fight, he failed to notice Tigerclaw whipping out his claws and pouncing over to the poor turtle. His shell hit the stage with a loud bang, he'd definitely feel that in the morning, if he made it that far.

"You get too easily distracted, young cub." in the two years since they last fought, it had seemed Tigerclaw had perfected the art of being an asshole. Leo wriggled from under him, trying his hardest to free his hands but Tigerclaw's grip only tightened. "You should have joined us when you had the chance, you are an excellent fighter, just like your rat sensei."

"You didn't know him..." Leo muttered through clenched teeth, his body a raging fire. Tigerclaw smirked at the aggravation, deciding to toy with his prey, "I knew he would fall, and the same can be said for you." Leo's eyes went white with ferocity, easily heaving Tigerclaw off of him and onto his back, "You don't know me!" Leo roared out, catching the attention of his other two brothers. The fight between the ninja and assassin continued on, each ducking and punching. Leo, albeit it with resistance, spared another glance your way. A sharp pain tugged at his eye, closing it as blood covered most of his vision anyway.

Tigerclaw stepped back with a wicked snarl, "That will teach you for losing focus!" his claws slightly green and red, threads of blue fabric stuck to the point of his nail.

You swung the katana around the circle, the pointed tip aimed at the Footbots, "You wanna go, huh? C'mon, bring it!" you jest. You may have looked calm and collected but inside you were freaking out, you promised June you would come back to her but there was no escaping this. A blur of green and orange blew past your vision, multiple bots falling like dominos.

"Booyakasha!!" he yelled, his nunchucks swinging around his form as he stood protectively in front of you. His shell every so often bumping into you...wait, SHELL? Finally giving him a once over you assumed he was a mutant just like Karai's henchmen, but he was good? Maybe he had ulterior motives, you know, save the people from the bad guys only to then take over the city and make it way worse.

"Haha, come get me you stinky foot!" he laughed, jumping on their heads like stepping stones, doing small tricks while he was in the air. Hey, you didn't say he had to be a mad genius to be evil. When he landed with a bow aimed at you, your hands simply clapped before your mind could catch up. Deciding to cut him some slack since he did just save your life, you outstretched a nervous hand to him, which he happily accepted. He waved your hand around wildly, you pray it didn't detach.

"Hi, my name's Michelangelo but most people call me Mikey, and when I say most people I mean my brothers. But I have a lot of friends too besides them, yeah! One's a gecko, oh, and another is a giant alligator; he's super rad, by the way. His name's Leatherhead, named by your's truly." he yapped away, talking a mile a minute, most not even processing in your brain. You pulled your arm back, having to interrupt him for answers, "Are you a turtle, by any chance?" it was a dumb question with an obvious answer, but you just needed to be sure. Michelangelo, or Mikey, closed his mouth in a flash, leaning heavily on the balls of his feet.

"Is that a problem? I just figured b-because of all the mutants on the street and stuff, people would be fine with-"

"Oh no, I'm...okay with it. After all, you just saved my life!"

"Well, it was mainly my brother, Leo, who saved your life. He was the one who saw you in trouble and sent me to help."

That's a nice name, Leo. Leeeeooooo. Leeeeeeeoooooooo. You definitely wanted to meet this guy in person. From over the crook of Mikey's shell, you faintly saw the black uniform of the Foot. Pushing Mikey away with your palm, accidentally smacking him a little, you jabbed the katana into the bot's chest; it's eyes going dark. Mikey wiped a bead of sweat forming on his forehead, "Phew, that was close. Thanks, dude/dudette."

"No problem." you smiled back. Mikey's head flicked to the main stage, his brothers already grabbing the rope they came in on and heaving their tired bodies away from the fight. It appeared they were calling for their younger brother to follow along, "Looks like you need to scadadle," you mused with a small smile. You gave him back the blade, "I think this belongs to one of your brothers."

"You should come with us," Mikey prompted, gripping the blue handle of Leo's katana. You pulled a funny face at him, dismissing him with a wave of your hand, "No, I couldn't, I shouldn't."

"But the Foot's going to be after you now they've seen you help us." Mikey begged, rolling out the puppy-dog eyes. To say this was the first time you had ever meet the small terrapin, you knew instantly that you'd fall for those eyes at the drop of a hat. Pretending to think about it, you finally gave and nodded to his request. Mikey seemed to do a little squeal and a small dance before grabbing your wrist and tugging you to an alley where he pulled out the grapple and aimed for the rooftop. Wrapping an arm around your waist, he sent you a small smile, "What's your name, by the way?" he asked.

The moment you opened your mouth to reply, Mikey launched the both of you into the air without warning. Your voice trembled and shook as you screamed out your name: "(YYYYYYYYY/NNNNNNNNNNNN)!!!!!"

So I have been reading your Jungkook story since I've discovered it on Wattpad and it become one of my favorites. I myself am also an author on Wattpad and I also wanted to transition my story over here as well so I must ask any tips on how to do that?

First of all, yay, another Wattpad author! Thanks for enjoying my content!

Secondly, I’m not the best at advice, but I’ll try:

I started off by getting very familiar with Tumblr and how it works. It does not function the same ways Wattpad does. Specifically with commenting, exporting media, tags - the whole nine. I recommend finding other authors who write primarily on Tumblr, look through some tags you’ll be interested in. There’s a lot of great, very developed content here!

Once I got a grasp on that, I started editing my chapters on Wattpad. I felt that I may as well revise my published parts if I was going to transfer them anyway, and there’s no good in having to revise each part from different media’s. I personally recommend an app I use called Speechify to revise and edit. I use the premium version but you totally don’t have to, the free non-hd voices reads the text decently. It helps me edit my story and gets me immersed in it, it points out spelling mistakes and grammatical errors by reading it aloud. I wish I got it sooner because it would have saved me so much time!

After revising at least the first few chapters, (don’t suffer and do it all at once, I tried doing that and nearly had a meltdown. Please pace yourself, especially if you have a lot of really long, elaborate chapters like I do) I literally copy and pasted from Wattpad to an empty draft on Tumblr. (Side-note: you’ll have to decide how you’ll title each post you make here, if you notice I give each Prosecution post the same title so my readers know what it’s for. Then I write the chapter title and number in the main text. I find that numbering the chapters really helps readers know the chronological order, it eliminates confusion. Though you don’t have to do it the way I did, of course)

Once the text is pasted, and all the media I have is loaded in and in the right place, I usually post from there. This is especially when I’ve just updated from Wattpad so that readers on both platforms can see it at the same time. You don’t have to post immediately, sometimes I save “placeholder” drafts here (literally just the title, chapter indication, picture, and tags) and don’t post it until I’ve finished writing the chapter on Wattpad. When I was revising each chapter, I used to queue and schedule my posts so that my readers wouldn’t be overwhelmed with content all at once. This is optional, of course, just a personal preference.

I strongly recommend making a masterlist for your story(ies). Tumblr doesn’t have a table of contents feature like Wattpad does, so you’ll find most - if not all authors on Tumblr make a masterlist to compile their content into one place. This way their readers can easily find what they’re looking for. It’s literally a matter of listing the chapters in order and linking them directly to each post. Plus, when you’re done you can pin the masterlist to the top of your page so readers may always see it, or link it in your bio like I’ve seen others do. Now that I’ll be posting my AMBW excerpts collective series here, I’ve made a “masterlist of masterlists”, if you will, and pinned that so that readers will easily access what they’re looking for on my page.

It can be intimidating and even confusing at first to start off here from Wattpad, especially since it functions so differently. But I hope I gave some decent advice! Good luck transitioning over to Tumblr! If you have any other questions or just want to discuss let me know! Thanks! ✌🏾💜

Who’s your favorite super hero? Invincible (Amazon Prime). Along with Spider-Man (2002) and the Big Hero 6 movie, that character/series is a rare superhero show that makes me feel strong and vulnerable at the same time. 

Who’s your favorite super villain? Slade Wilson/ Deathstroke as seen in “Teen Titans: The Judas Contract” animated movie and the 2003-2006 “Teen Titans” cartoon series. 

Spiderman or X-men? Spider-Man. Tobey Maguire and Peter B. Parker from Into the Spiderverse. 

Movie theatre or stay at home movie night? Theaters. Alamo Drafthouse. I love ordering boozy milkshakes and finger foods.

Do you have a Blue Ray? I have one of those external drives for my Mac though I never use it. 

How about HD television? Yeah

Do you think HD television is kind of a waste of money? No. 

Do you get why people get so frickin’ freaked out during football season? I do not, and living in a state with a hard-on for (American) football makes it weird when I tell people that I do not have a favorite football team/player. 

Do you ever sneak scraps to the dog even though you’re not suppose to? I don’t sneak him food. If I cook or order too much to eat, then I scrape a couple of cup’s worth of leftovers in his bowl. He’s probably got only a year to live so let him live it up a little. 

Are you reading a book right now? If so what? A friend gave me a copy of “The Only Good Indians” but I can't get into it so I’m reading “Full Throttle” by Joe Hill. 

What was the last book you were required to read for school? It’s been so long I can’t remember. 

O donuts or jelly filled? Whipped cream filled. I love Krispy Kreme’s whipped cream filled donuts with raspberry filled donuts as a close second. 

If I’m feeling bland then I do like crullers. 

Do you like your ice-cream in a bowl or cone? Bowl unless it’s a tasty cone.

Do you recycle? My city has the blue recycling bins, but I heard that since we’re an ass-backward community, “recyclables” and trash all go to the same place. I just place recyclables in the blue bin to help clear up space in the trash bin. Maybe I’m wrong and this city does recycle? Can’t hurt. 

When I was 11, I’d collect empty soda cans to take to the recycling guy since back in the day, they’d pay for aluminum cans. That’s how I scraped up funds for dollar movies and hot dogs. 

Are you a pyro? Yeah. I carry/collect Zippo lighters but mostly because the “click-click” is satisfying to hear since I flip the lids open and closed to relieve stress. And I burn a lot of old bills and letters with sensitive info on them. 

What was the last word/thing you wrote down? I was researching high fiber foods that are also low in carbs to make a grocery and dinner meal plan. 

Sleeping or eating? After my surgery, sleeping. 

Are you overall a positive person? I try to be realistically positive, if such a thing exists. The world will never be all sunshine and My Little Ponies, but I try to find some comfort and positivity when my world is a shit-show. Filling this survey out kinda helps. 

Do you hate hypocrites? Yeah, especially the “do as I say, not as I do” types. 

For instance, a certain family member is pushing good diet and health habits, but it aggravates the hell out of me if I see him drinking high sugar iced tea or eating ice cream. Or Door-Dashing Burger King, even if it is a Beyond Whopper with a diet Coke.

too 10 zelda games and why?

1: skyward sword (duh)- Everything about this game is amazing, the soundtrack, the Npcs that feel like people, the puzzles, the controls, just everything! The storyline was linear, but really worth it! This might seem unpopular, but i also loved fi, from her aesthetic to her theme, hell i didnt mind her tips, no matter how many times i play through the game! People say they dont like having to fight the imprisoned/ghirahim 3 times. I loved the ghirahim fights and didnt mind doing it 3 times. And while the imprisoned was annoying, it was there because of plot consistency. The old woman says that too much power will draw it out, and if that didnt happen every time yall would be complaining about plot consistency. Skyward sword also had some of my favorite characters: Ghirahim and this version of Zelda!

2: Spirit tracks (wii u virtual console): this was my first Zelda game, I used to play it at family events with my cousin on his ds because social anxiety. You might think that i have it so high for nostalgia, and while that was the case for a while, i recently got the virtual console version, and played though it twice (you know when you do something recently it loses its nostalgia?) the soundtrack was great, i loved anjean, and zelda in that game was incredible. Taking the form of a phantom to help you, literally all of zeldas and links interactions were adorable. People said hey didnt like the touch controls and while they did take some getting used to, i adjusted kinda quickly, and when i played phantom hourglass afterwards, i kept dying cause the rolls were different.

3: Ocarina of time (3D): yes i didnt have an N64, fight me. Oot is a fan favorite, and for good reasons. It basically invented the zelda formula (if i have my release dates straight?) not counting alltp. Shiek is one of my favorite characters in anything ever, and admittedly, i did get a little sad when navi left. The soundtrack is good, but short when compared to other zelda games (that and it keeps getting taken off of youtube gdi!) again, ive never had an n64, so idk what the water temple was like back then, (i know about the iron boots gear screen) but from some of my cousins reactions, it seems to be a LOT better in the 3ds version

4: A link Between worlds: This is a really solid entry in the zelda series. Its got just enough difficulty that i dont remember literally everything, but easy enough that i can listen to something like TAZ while playing and understand whats happening in both. Ravio is a good character, though i wish you could steal for him. The items system was really cool, but i like that feeling of “whatre ya gonna get in this temple” that most zelda games have.

5. Minish cap (virtual console wii u): the minish cap is an all around pretty game. The graphics are just beautiful, the soundtrack is amazing, specially minish woods! And its got another of my fave characters, Vaati! Ezlo was also a great character, and sure the kinstones are annoying if youre tyring to 100% the game as are the figures, so this is why we dont 100% things! /s

6. Majoras Mask (3D): Disclaimer: i havent finished this, i was in ikana when my sister lost our copy of the game. But i know the story. MM is a game with only 4 dungeons, so it would seem short right? No, because of the 3 day system it takes longer than expected and wants you to plan out what youre doing. It had a lot of memorable sidequests and the masks were really fun as well. The soundtrack takes those OOT sounds and creates a whole new feel and its a heckin good time!

7. Twilight princess (wii): another game i havent finished! This time because spider scary, and im worried about encountering another one. Midna is super awesome, as is the wolf form and twilight sections, but on the wii, the controls are… awful. Anyone who complains about skyward swords motion controls has obviously never played this version of the game. Zant was cool, but then he was immediately overshadowed by ganondorf with little explanation. At least in Skyward sword ghirahim makes it clear that all he wants is demises resurrection. 

8. Wind waker (HD): for a lot of people this is their favorite, but idk it just never really clicked with me. Maybe its because i saved in the wind temple and Makar vanished so i had to reset my game? The soundtrack was good, but not really my fave, and i didnt like the king of red lions all that much. But other than that, it was a pretty solid game, just not one of my faves.

9. Phantom hourglass (wii u virtual console): after i beat spirit tracks i just HAD to play phantom hourglass, and i gotta say, i was pretty disappointed… the temple of the ocean king was like the tower of spirits, but the time limit. Oh the time limit. Also they fucking nerfed tetra in this game cmon! Ceilia made navi nosies, which i found funny for some reason. Honestly, the only saving grace is linebeck. his theme is amazing, he did grow on me, and the final boss fight against him was *chefs kiss*

10: Botw (both wii u and switch): yeah i just dont really like botw all that much. Half of the soundtrack is pretty decent, but the other half is * 5 piano notes* “what you want MORE???” I didn’t like botw Zelda. At all. At best she was quirky and kinda annoying, and at worst she made me wanna slam my head into the wall. I also didnt care about the champions, no matter how much the game wanted me to. The divine beasts were pretty bad, and the shrines were just kinda tiresome. The graphics were pretty cool (THANK GOD THERE WERE NO SPIDERS) i mean its a cool game, just not a cool zelda game, ya know? Also this is the only game thats made my wii u crash. And it wasnt just one time. Do with that what you will

Two halves of the whole: XY TR and SM TR in retrospect

I understand Team Rocket isn't considered a priority by the anime staff but I can't shake off the feeling XY and SM SHOULD be merged into a single series… when it comes to Team Rocket. This is exactly why I wasn't completely satisfied with either.

1. Both have overbearing aspects that could have been completely cut out and replaced with something more appropriate/less jarring.

The significant bulk of XY is "dedicated" to them chasing after Pikachu and other tiny Pokemon of the twerps, the most annoying version of it taking place in a generic forest where they ambush the twerps from their balloon only to be immediately brought down. Alternatively, they succeed but park their balloon nearby, get drunk with juice celebrating their "success” and have their asses beaten by two captured Pokemon, almost as if it was their lowest point of livelihood from AG/DP and they had no other ideas up their sleeve = though, if you ask me, it was all so much worse and less original than before BW. DP and some of the most ridiculous disguises, schemes and robots = quality if compared with XY’s. Also, they haven’t done a DECENT pitfall trap surprise attack in ages now! Well, maybe that one time in Decolora Adventures but it was Best Wishes’ run.

In SM, on the other hand, insistence on Malasada food truck and the amount of care channeled into their side business, even though this time around they are properly characterized so they RECOGNIZE their standing and… wish to remain in Giovanni’s good graces – by capturing unique, rare Pokemon of Alola or achieving some other useful results while there. This is not to say Malasada side business shouldn't appear - just that weight behind it was way overboard, almost as if it was their lowest point of livelihood from AG/DP and they had no other incomes (from Team Rocket, in particular!). At least they bothered to explain that it was Musashi who spends all their hard earned money so they are always left with nothing, but still… I may be picky but hey, having to part-time work for it to the bone makes better sense if this is reflected by the status (such as absolute lack of interest from their superiors and countless loans). But if that’s NOT the case, then just… don’t do that. Saying it’ll somehow help them get into Giovanni’s favor is just mental gymnastics. The problem becomes apparent when later in the season they are basically "benched” at their food truck… awaiting for the next series to come (rather than used in the plots/shown on the sidelines in ANY other way that’s suitable).

Needless to say, in both series there are some blast-offs which aren't really THAT necessary, all things considered. With Sun and Moon they are Kiteruguma exits (hence more varied and interesting, thank heavens for that!) but even them become tiresome as time goes by and the series introduces more plot points. Because Kiteruguma is the literal plot device to STOP THEM from INTERACTING with the “wider" PLOT in any meaningful way and this is just so apparent that you find yourself screaming NO, NO, NO, DON’T. In addition, the writers are milking the hell outta that Mecha Mecha Nyasu concept. They produce more and more of them, and not even Alola was spared from this. Meanwhile, I’m sure all of us would rather see different takes on mechas or different technological means of achieving their goals (smaller devices, beams, lasers, missiles, flying crafts, forgery, mini spy ops, break-ins, other interesting mechas, or more ridiculous schemes of theirs that actually work, just name it).

2. Both have some unique aspects that could and maybe should be co-existing standards for post-BW Team Rocket of the "modern day HD-definition Pokeani."

XY’s technological aspects carried over from Best Wishes. Some of them became quite ridiculous, however it has more to do with the overall QUALITY behind XY’s writing, not with the CONCEPT. But yeah, however briefly or insignificant at times, XY actually shows them using computers, copying data, applying some "post Best Wishes” scientific acumen to their regular schemes, developing devices, trying to capture powerful Pokemon using the power of science: brainwashing waves, flying aircrafts, more practical mechas. Some of these "catch Pokemon” ideas were present even before Best Wishes - waves which allow them to attract Pokemon appeared in DP, for example - but here they were on a whole different level and even became a part of the recurring “scientific mega evolution project." Vague as it was in terms of plot… the concept was pretty interesting at times. Even their mostly comedic and ridiculous scheme in disguises during Ingenuity Festival (which is one of my favorite XY episodes) had something to do with this science/engineering aspect.

Secondly, Sun and Moon’s amazing take on their classic roles and shenanigans, enhanced by unique encounters and obstacles, such as Kiteruguma, some interesting "regular work” dynamic with HQ/Matori and Kiteruguma’s den as their secret base and home (first in development, then fully operational). Even Malasada food truck is a great addition to their regional arsenal and variety when used sparingly. Team Rocket’s encounters with other characters become a part of larger continuity (Faba, for example) and they are even allowed to get their own Z-Ring. It tries to do something fresh with a "classic pre-BW Team Rocket” by utilizing the potential of modern day Pokeani. They aren’t just chasing after Pikachu, they excel at different kinds of things and, despite their heart-warming family dynamic with Kiteruguma, are even daydreaming of replacing Matori and taking her place by Sakaki’s side! Which is something new and delivers more depth than, let’s say, "get a bonus” and “boss will be overjoyed.”

All that’s good in XY + Sun and Moon?

Now why would I say they should be "merged”? If you haven’t noticed already, one has modern plot devices, means and cool features, while the other has commitment, storyline, quality and wits apart from largely superior characterization, I mean. It would only feel natural to do that. It doesn’t mean that every new series shall rely on all these aspects equally but… let there be variety/balance, make sure you DON’T introduce a jarring deficit, and - first of all - actually feature all of those aspects. Together they are stronger and allow for much better results. Instead of another "they are quite not there yet!” impression... we would finally get a "modern day Team Rocket”, a Team Rocket I was quite excited for ever since Best Wishes’ original airdate.

Now I wonder about this new series. Could this be better? Finally "back on track” as I used to say? Two halves that come together and perhaps something straight from hardcore criminal Best Wishes, as a much appreciated bonus? Or at the very least please deliver something so brilliant and brand new, with careful, balanced narration, that I won't be able to notice any deficits or contradictions, like with the previous two. And yeah, sometimes I’m nitpicky, I know, but some of those things are just asking to be done, now that Pokeani is constantly evolving. In truth, they feel like a given yet they never are! As a Team Rocket fan, I can’t just ignore this fact and say "they are perfect as they are now” even though they are still held back and this is so apparent when contrasted with the rest of the show. And so, my silent vigil continues...

Probably my absolute favourite such a crisp game easy to play but with unexpected depth to it. Doesnt devolve into spamming reaction commands like 2. I gotta say once you get Leaf Bracer Second Chance and Once More most fights are a cake walk. I did all the optional content in this one and the added bosses in final mix 1.5 are great!

Kingdom Heart Re:Chain of Memories: 7.5/10

I really love card battle systems and CoM has a pretty great one. Not Baiten Kaitos tier but still fun to play through. Loses some points for how repetitive the worlds are, you basically run through reskins of the same rooms for 10 hours but the game itself is fun and I love the Castle Oblivion crew.

Eh. When I played this as a teenager I loved it but when it doesnt really stack up next to the other games and I think its objectively worse than KH1. The worlds boil down to 5 small rooms each, combat becomes either spamming commands or spamming drives. The worlds are some of my favourite but the execution of the gameplay of the worlds is pretty lame. Hottest version of Riku though and nothing is better then sora hugging kairi and then FALLING ON HIS KNEES AND WEEPING AND HOLDING RIKUS HAND 2 seconds later. They are boyfriends just btw.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days: 5/10

This is a bad game with an okay story. The gameplay is honestly garbage holding the DS the way you have to hurts your hand after like an hour. Super boring mission system but I appreciate the attempt at something new. The story is slow till the last 100 days then is really cool I genuinely love Xion Roxas and Axel. The panel system is awful the worlds are copies from KH1 with less actual worlds than the original game. I wish I watched the movie version but I felt obliged to beat them all... the story is the saving grace here and even then it's not laid out very well.

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix: 8.5/10

My second favourite game for sure, I love the story and character more than KH1 but it also suffers from empty worlds like KH2 so it knocked it down slightly. Still that's really my only gripe. Aqua is one of the most fun characters in the series to play as. The command board is like crack to me because I FUCKING LOVE MONOPLY. I like fusing commands to find new cool shit and the ending of BBS is easily one of my favourite moment in KH. A prequel that does everything right, if you never gave it a chance you are missing out! Aqua deserves to be happy...

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD: 8/10

Such an unexpectedly fun game. Of all things the WORLDS are the best part here. Not because they are all great Disney choices but because of how massive they are and the new flowmotion movement mechanics. Sadly the great action gameplay is weighed down by the Dream Eaters you have to raise. Super boring minigames and you have to use the system to get commands this time so you cant just fire and forget. TWEWY was a cool choice and really fit the game thematically. Also the story here was great, at least for Riku. It really rounded out his character and I wish he was the main protagonist of the series now. Check it out for sure if you're a KH Fan.

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep 0.2: A Fragmentary Passage 7/10

I know this is basically just a tech demo but it was really solid. I would do anything to play as Aqua again and getting to see her journey in the world of darkness was great. Gameplay is solid graphics beautiful, it did its job getting me pumped for KH3. Not much to say due to how short it was but the few worlds it had were very fun and interactive!

I have to admit I didn't play recoded which I apologize for. I just dont have access to the game only the movie on the collection and I'd rather play the game. Kingdom Hearts is a great series and every game except Days deserves a playthrough!

IDK it’s so ambiguous…

I wish Gadget was available to play on modern systems. I have to use a Windows 95 emulator for my copy and I haven’t played it yet cause it’s complicated to set up.

I hope you’re not too annoyed by me talking about Gadget frequently cause I really have no one else to talk to about it. Sure, some people know about it but even fewer even care to go deeper. So if you don’t mind, I might bring up more analysis things for either the games or The Third Force.

i wouldve hoped too that in that version of the game maybe you can see some of the book characters. at least having Elena or Louis mentioned

it does also very much look like he mustve killed Orlovsky and just taken whatever it was he had and planned to give it to the player. i wouldve liked it too if maybe we had some more details about the player and the backstory, like how we grew up or even got to where we are now.

and the soundtrack wouldve been fuckin killer its so menacing and horribly weird, its fantastic. 

one day i hope Haruhiko comes back with a team of people to revive this series or someone picks it up and revamps it
