read the starless sea in like three days and I am. hmm. not capable of expressing how beautiful it is and how deeply it gripped me and hhhhhh I need a sequel about kat actually!!
#went into the tag and immediately hate the fanart bc no one looks right tho lol#why are mirabel and the keeper white!!#also the whole time i was picturing zachary being played by justice smith#also for a book that literally says on the page that some stories connect with a person and others just dont#there sure are people in the main tag being like this book was not to my taste and is therefore Bad#sidenote that i actually dont remember if half the characters i saw as poc were actually described like that?#but thats the image i got so idk#i wish i could be more coherent but im still like reeling lol#the main romance felt a little hollow but it does reflect the fairytale nature of the book so it doesnt bother me too much tbh#like no fairytale has a deep dive into how a couple got together#fate intervenes and they meet and maybe they share a quest but it doesnt go deep#idk i have many thoughts but only one brain cell to think them on
