hello my loves !! i wanted to give y'all some insight on what's been going on in my mind palace lately. there's a lot...so...cmon, take a walk w me...and maybe bring some snacks.

ੈ♡˳ first and foremost ! my work has received a lot more attention recently and i am so excited. with actual tears in my eyes, im happy to report that i surpassed 1,000 followers the other day. i am at a loss for words...just...stuck in a perma-state of disbelief.

im sending out the biggest thank you to everyone who has supported me, who's interacted with my work, to the lovely friends ive made though this account and to the heartbreakingly beautiful anime that brought me here in the first place. i am genuinely in awe...overwhelmed, even...i didn't expect any of this to happen when i started this blog and i am forever indebted to all of you for getting me here. im actively fighting off the inevitable surge of imposter syndrome as i type this out...i just love y'all so fucking much. this community means the world to me and i wanna scream at the top of my lungs in order to demonstrate my deepest appreciation for each and every one of y'all.

ੈ♡˳ secondly ! a message for my little angel babies, my day one followers; thank you for taking a chance on me. for watching me grow. for sticking around as i worked to get better at writing. im sure a lot of you started following me for my gamer!bf sukuna series...trust me, i love him and i know y'all do too. but i feel like my writing is heading in a different direction...and with a heavy heart, i'm absolutely gutted when i say that i am taking a pause on that series. i am forever grateful for the support and may return to him soon, though i cannot promise that. i owe so much of what my account is now to that series and i will never forget that.

for everyone who joined me as i delved into dark/dead dove content, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me a safe space to explore different forms of story-telling. my choso fic was the first stepping stone and then i skipped every other stone on the path and jumped head first into the deep end with my dead dove gojo fic...i deeply appreciate all the positive feedback i received on both of those. after posting them, i realized that i am very into writing dark content. i know that taboo themes/dark content/dead dove subject matter isn't for everyone and i understand people's apprehension in regards to it. but with that being said, i will be moving forward with publishing darker content.

ੈ♡˳ so here's the writing update !

i did a poll asking y'all what kind of content you enjoy. a good chunk of people said long form fics (which is great, cause i do too !! mommy needs plot). so, i am migrating away from one shot writing. both because i've been thinking about it for awhile and because y'all are into longer stories, as well. but fear not, i will still write shorter stuff along with headcannons, drabbles, etc...it just won't be the main focus of my blog anymore.

ੈ♡˳ now, time for the big reveal ! perhaps it's a bit anticlimactic, but bear with me...

im so excited to announce that i have two new series coming ! it will be a dark, modern!au featuring choso (with a few other special guests) and a dead dove sukuna series.

i'm almost finished with the outlines, and have fully completed the theme layout + mood boards for both works. i hope to get the first few chapters wrapped up in the next couple weeks. if you want to be tagged in either of these (or both), just leave a comment or send me a message !

(also !! i may or may not be cooking up a dark medieval au series in collaboration with another writer on here...so be on the lookout for that hehe)

while i take breaks from writing my two series, i'll be working through my requests ! so if you've sent one in, i promise i will get to it, unless i literally cannot think of a good way to write it (im only human, im so sorry). also, im sure we already knew this, but im a slowww writer. i wish i could churn content out quick as fuck but i am too hypercritical of myself…it's both a blessing and a curse, honestly.

So I got addicted to Stardew Valley again

I modeled my farmer after B with no plans to come up with any g/t-related lore at all. I just wanted to play through the latest update with a new look since all my other farmers look pretty much the same. Then one day during my first year in fall or winter, I speak to Elliot, prompting this line of dialogue:

This one simple little line sent sparks through my brain. I started typing up an AU explaining how B got the farm in place of Grandpa's niece/nephew, how she runs it and why, and how she interacts with the townsfolk. Expect a few text posts like this one here and there with lore drabbles, hehe. By the by, I apologize for taking so long on the asks yall sent in! I have the answers written and planned, just haven't drawn them yet. I will get at least two of them done within the next two weeks. I'm thrilled that people are interested in my little guys, and I thank you for your questions!

And one more thing, chapter 3 of Breaking Point has been posted to Wattpad, and chapter 4 is in the works. Wish me luck ;.)

A Bit Dodgy - I had a feeling my job would be picking up soon and I'd be so busy that I would have to start prioritizing certain works. That being said, A Bit Dodgy (or A Bit Doggy for that one anon who stole my heart) is going to be on a temporary hiatus until 07/31/2023. I just have so much going on and where this isn't the fic that's inspiring me the most right now, I'm moving to prioritize the ones that are inspiring me the most.

i also chose this because i like being alone !! and i wanted to learn how to be independent asap because i want to live in another country in the future 😬 i loveeee it honestly it’s so fun having a space of my own and being able to go wherever and do whatever i want. the place i live is also surrounded by nature so i tend to enjoy doing errands because that means going on long walks then resting at the park. but i just get extremely sad and lonely during times like this because i’m sickly and then i miss my mom’s cooking and it’s just downhill from there. it’s the worst feeling 🥲 and it’s scary how something bad might happen and no one will check up on you until you go MIA for a few days 😭 a person knocks on the door and i immediately look where the 🔪 is and i have a taser with a flashlight when i go out at night ㅠㅠ oh and the bugs…… wdym i can’t ask someone else to get rid of them for me?!?!? yeah </3

overall im doing aight so far this year. could be better i think

ive only cried twice this month😀 having some self-image/identity issues and managing to keep my sanity in check with Black History Month after that police brutality murder here in memphis and Ron Desantis bullying the College Board into turning AP Black History into a whitewashed history and Black Conservatism. i feel too hyperaware of the fuckery that is america. it feels like me and every other black person are the only ones really seeing this shit. its tiring and makes me harbor a different kind of hate in my heart for the concept of whiteness that i didnt even know was there. its somewhat hard to see people’s humanity or feel safe around them. i hate to even say this, but since something major happened january, maybe nothing will happen this summer unlike May 2020. im trying to take it one day at a time tho... hehe

you probably weren’t expecting all that but i figured id turn this into a general post😭 sorry if this was too much, even the non heavy stuff. i know when people ask how someones doing they’re prolly asking for something simple but this feels more like a diary entry than anything.

Respite AU Headcanons + Little Update

Soooo I have a bunch of little ideas I wanna write some drabbles/headcanons about, but I don't think they'll be long enough to work into Respite Hereafter. So, I'll be posting a few extra bits of information soon, to hold you guys over until I can get the next part of Respite Hereafter out.

I've also decided to dub this au the "respite au," primarily because nothing comes up when i searched for it so i won't be stepping on someone else's toes. So all the posts related to this au will be tagged #respite au :]

Also, little update:

For those unaware, my house caught fire in late January and I've been living out of a hotel ever since. I originally thought I'd be home in 2-3 weeks. It's been 3 months and they haven't even started.

Good news, though: we finally know when they'll be done !! Construction will start either this week or on Monday, and it will be a 2-3 week job, so I should be home in around 4 weeks (which is better than the 5-6 I thought it would be) !! Very exciting :]

Anyway !! I wanna ramble about the lore of the respite au for a little bit, here's some additional headcanons I couldn't really work into the next part hehe

Like I eluded to in the latest part of Respite Hereafter, the people are terrified of the power your impostor held. They were incredibly cruel, and the people were terrified that they might just murder everyone. Your impostor regularly discussed genocide with their servants, contemplated whether Teyvat had earned the privilege of living any longer, like a veiled threat. So your people threw themselves at the impostor, desperate to earn their favor just enough to keep them from destroying everything.

People regularly sent themselves into debt and spent money they didn't have just to make sure your impostor was satisfied. They see it as an honor for their gifts to be brought to your feet, offered up in protection of their nations and their lives.

The impostor rarely even looked at the things offered to them, let alone cherished them. The maids had grown used to throwing out boxes on boxes of very expensive jewelry, art, incense, candles, anything the people could think to give up. You, on the other hand...

The first shipment they bring you is from Snezhnaya, and right on top is a black box from a particularly wealthy ginger Harbinger. Inside said black box is an ornately decorated crown, gold chains and gems hanging from the sides made to be braided into your hair, and with high-pointed spikes that resembled a halo. "As one of your radiance deserves," the attached note says.

You often get overwhelmed with all the praise and worship and your acolytes get so worried. When they bring you their offerings and they see the tears clinging to your eyelashes they feel horrible; they believe their offerings are not to your liking. They'll do better next time, please forgive them!

When you explain that you aren't upset at all and that you love and cherish all of their offerings so much it makes you emotional, they... don't know what to think. Some of them begin to doubt your abilities as their Creator, because how could someone so powerful be so kind and gentle? Surely if you had such power you would be showing it off, right?

These arguments don't often last long. You may not resort to violence as punishment for such blasphemy, but that doesn't mean your acolytes won't. They simply won't stand for someone dirtying and doubting your holy name in this way. Even if you doubt it yourself sometimes.

Your acolytes are getting over some pretty heavy trauma, but... You are too. You try your hardest not to let it show just how anxiety-ridden you are, but some of your little quirks just give it away. The maids find you attempting to save your food sometimes, claiming that even though you're hungry now, you'll be even more hungry later. You still flinch whenever someone comes at you too fast, and you don't appreciate walking in front of others or having your back turned. You often have your guards walk in front of you, even though you're more at risk of being attacked from behind that way. You know your guards are armed and they're behind you, and you can't handle the invasive thoughts that brings.

Yet even though you're struggling so much yourself, you try so hard to not show it for their sake. Your acolytes are suffering too, and they need someone strong to support them. So you put your own traumas on the backburner to help them.

You try so hard to make them feel comfortable around you. It's a very slow, very gradual process, but you regularly sneak out to roam the streets, just so your people can get used to seeing you in a casual, friendly way. You aren't there to hurt them, you don't expect to be bowed to or given gifts, you're there only to earn their trust.

On one such occasion as you walk through the streets of Mondstadt alone, finally stealing a second away from your guards, a small child you happen to recognize barrels straight into you. She gasps and topples over, and when she meets your eyes, the terrified, ashamed look on her face breaks your heart. Klee.

Jean isn't far behind her, calling for her to come back and to apologize to the person she'd just run into. When she realizes that it's you, she freezes.

Jean kneels in a bow, apologizing on Klee's behalf for harming you. The whole debacle gains the attention of everyone else around, who upon realizing you've graced them with your presence, do the same.

You take Klee's hand and help her up, wiping the tears from her cheeks. You smile at her, ever-forgiving and kind, and explain that it's okay, she didn't mean to. You made Jean promise she wouldn't give Klee a harsher punishment for bumping into you before your guards finally caught up to you, insisting you return to the palace.

It's gonna be a long road to recovery for both you and your acolytes, but you make a promise to yourself that you'll be there for them, every step of the way.

How many chapters will there be?

i have 12 chapters planned in total, although that number varies as i still might add more or less. there will also be drabbles that tell what the characters are up to after the story is over :)

Will there be drama?

yes!! chapter 6 is the start of it all and it’s all a rollercoaster from there

Will Dahlia’s mom make an appearance?

yes! we’ll be seeing her for a moment in chapter 6 & 6.5 and oc will actually talk to her in later chapters

How old is Dahlia?

she’s four :)

Where does this story take place?

wherever u want it to!! i try not to describe settings (like cities/countries, house setup, or etc) as much bc i want it to be as personal to the reader as possible. it is a reader x jk fic after all hehe :)

Will OC and JK get caught? (bc of their student-teacher relationship)

…🤐 I will say tho that they make it to graduation with no issues regarding that, as for after you’ll just have to wait and seeee

The full series summary says his ex wife isn’t so much of an ex after all, so is he cheating on OC with her?

if you look a little further down from that summary (at the bottom of the series masterlist) you will see a note saying that no, he’s not cheating on oc and he just has some unresolved drama w his ex wife. his situation with his ex will be explained/unfold in later chapters (starting at 6.5)

Will we be seeing a jealous JK?

there will be a scene in a later chapter where jk gets jealous over the college boys looking at oc🤭

Is it going to be a happy ending?

ultimately, yes! there will be a bigger angst/conflict appearing in future chapters but despite that, there will definitely be a happy ending and solution to the conflict :)

Was Jk’s past marriage an arranged marriage or love marriage?

surprisingly it was a love marriage that just didn’t work out !!

Are we gonna have some flashbacks of how their relationship started and what took it to divorce?

i’m still unsure of whether i’m gonna write it as flashbacks or just have jk explain it to oc but either way, yes there will be context on his past marriage and why it didn’t work out!

hiya! i'm relatively new to the fandom and i LOVE your dethkomic so far, but i'm also curious about all its lore. from what i gather it's based on previous works of yours? where should one start if one has only read the dethkomic?

Well first of all, welcome to MTL! I hope you have been enjoying our small but awesome community! So glad to have you along for the ride that is Dethkomic!

As for the other stories I wrote, you'll be happy to know that you're right at the very beginning! Let's look at the chart:

So, "the chart" is actually the index of my old fanfics, and the highlighted areas are the parts that Dethkomic re-writes. Next week being our very last update of this first story arc, you can guess that means we're going to have a funeral.

But don't despair! As I said in this post from last week, I'll be doing more comics, and I think "Dethkomic II" (working title, hehe) will be a total reimagining of the majority of what's left in the index, above. I basically have all-new ideas for the story in general from this point on, but I will be borrowing heavily from major points of each of the remaining five stories. I'll also be doing little one-shots here and there for things that I can't cram into the main storyline. Dethkomic-Drabbles!

And did I mention, confusingly, that I actually intended to have the "real" ending of my fics be the original Dethkomic: The Dethklok Doujinshi, which never got finished? I assume by the time I get there this time, though, the show will have wrapped with the movie come and gone, so I can decide how/if I want to pursue rehashing that "cursed" piece of fan-media (probably, lol).

And lest we forget the AU front: the girls wind up in a different universe (in the future? On some unspecified plane? Does time even exist?!!?) in my RPG game, "Harmonic Odyssey." But Harmonic is more of a crossover sort of deal, and it's not necessary that you read Dethkomic to play it, or play it to read Dethkomic, hehe. (end of shameless plug!)
