What’s your favourite Pokémon of every Generation? (EXCLUDING Ribombee and Dipplin.)
Glad this is for every generation 'cause I love a lot of pokemon and it's hard playing favorites. xD
Confession time: I actually don't really have favorability for Dipplin as a pokemon. xD My naming choices for my username / Sweet & Sour Dipplins was more so designed with the intention of referencing and popularizing dipplinshipping ("dippin" -> dipplinshipping + "duo" -> Kieran & Juliana).
But! Challenge accepted, anon. Lemme whip out my pokedex. Note that I'm going more so for overall vibe favorability as opposed to gameplay usage:
Generation 1:
Tumblr media
Welcome to Basic Bitch Land™, where I'm your mayor. xD I have a lot of general favorites for Gen 1, but Pikachu was always destined to be a fave of mine whether or not it was gonna be the mascot, ngl lol. I was very obsessed with Yellow as a child (and still very much am), so I wouldn't have been able to ignore this precious lil friend. A lot of the franchise has not helped. xD Generation 2:
Tumblr media
This one is HARDDDD because like Gen 1 I have a lot of favorites and Ampharos is also right there (seeing a theme lol?), but Togetic has my heart. I fell in love with it more when I used one in Gen 8, and I actually like it a little more than Togekiss. xD It has such a cute and satisfying wing flapping animation/sound!! And I love its lore.
Generation 3:
Tumblr media
Flygon is the GOAT, man. Cool dragon. Great typing & 6th pokemon whenever I'm building teams. Stellar moveset. Rad design that isn't overly complex. Need I say more? Generation 4:
Tumblr media
I. LOVE. DRIFTFLOON LOL. Don't even get me started on the Saturday Valley Windworks nonsense kid me was like "what the fuck why do I gotta wait to get the happy balloon pokemon". No it totally doesn't have a ton of weaknesses shhhhh its FINE ITS A CUTE BALLOON THAT DEFINETELY DOESN'T HAVE CREEPY LORE ALSO DID YOU KNOW ITS SHINY IS YELLOW?? THE ONE TIME I LIKE SHINIES. xDD
Generation 5:
Tumblr media
This answer surprised me! I've never used this line on my team before, but the concept of Sawsbuck (and subsequently, Deerling) just make me so happy. I feel really connected to the Earth whenever I see this pokemon, and their real life counterparts brings me a lot of peace as one of my favorite animals. Generation 6:
Tumblr media
I also really love Floette conceputally, but Slyveon drove me crazyyyyyy when it first was announced. My irl friends describe me as either giving Sylveon or Leafon energy as a person (lol), and I certaintly see it. I love how strong this thing is too and it brings me so much joy to use it whenever I can.
Generation 7:
Tumblr media
After Sweet & Sour Dipplins/running this blog, my undeniable favorite is Ribombee without question. But before that, it was Bewear! There were some other favorites I had for this gen too, but oh my god. This thing SMACKS people. And its SO CUTE. xD I loved using it on my team in gen 8.
Generation 8:
Tumblr media
My love for my Applins in Sweet & Sour Dipplins aside xD, Hattrem was an automatic fave for this gen. Incredible design, super cute, whimsical and magical vibes with some interesting lore - LOVE IT. Lowkey would've loved to have this be the final evo with fairy typing because this mid evolution is where this line peaked, change my mind.
Generation 9:
Tumblr media
The chaos behind this pokemon is too fucking funny. I harassed so many people with memes about this pokemon when Scarlet/Violet first came out. xDD For a split second it was my #1 fave because of how much it spoke to the pettiness in my soul. I will always love super cute pokemon that go "KILL". xDDD There you have it! :)

Blazibok
So the last few weeks I've been trying out PokeMMO, a fanmade Pokemon MMO that, among other things, allows you to bounce back and forth among the first five regions/generations, running through the stories and generally trying to catch 'em all. It's been the motivation for this most recent surge in splicing, and indeed the only splicing I've been doing is mashing up the various monsters that made up my five teams with their teammates. They're a pretty motley assortment, made up mostly of old favorites from my ancient gen-one days, some of the cornerstones from my first Nuzlocke, a handful that I'd always wanted to try, and a healthy selection of randos that just seemed like a good idea at the time.
Anyway, I hit about level 50 in all the games and decided to mix things up before taking on the Elite Four-Times-Five, so I swapped a bunch of the critters around to make new teams. So naturally, I respliced them all with their new teammates. All of this is to say that the next fifteen splices are going to be the same thirty Pokemon that were in my last fifteen splices (or their evolved forms), just paired up differently. I'd like to think this batch turned out a little better, but some of them, like this Blazibok, are maybe a bit wonky. So I beg your indulgence for a few days while I get this out of my system.
Incidentally, if anyone has any good ideas for what to do in PokeMMO once you've beaten all the storylines, I'd be interested to hear them. I'm not much interested in PVP (I know players like me are important for the PVP ecosystem, running up the W/L ratio for serious players, but getting my ass handed to me by strangers isn't my idea of a good time), and the idea of just running around filling up my Pokedex doesn't seem like much fun either. What I'd really like to do is reset the storylines but keep all my caught Pokemon so that I can run through again with all-new teams, but I don't think they've got that functionality yet…

Indigo League Episode 23
This is a fun haunted house episode, and Ash dies for the first time! I had a blast watching this one, The humor is on point, and Ash is my favorite of the three main characters so naturally I like the focus on him.
What a brat, scaring his friends just for fun.
Tumblr media
This shot of Ash falling over after being shocked by Pikachu as revenge for scaring him was surprisingly smoothly animated.
Tumblr media
I love it when Pikachu doesn't want to do stuff, he’s so opinionated.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this time Ash joins! Very cute.
Tumblr media
The mental image of them frantically trying to get ahead of the gang is hilarious to me.
Tumblr media
James is almost graceful as he's falling here.
Tumblr media
These are some great faces on James and Meowth.
Tumblr media
And another great face on Ash! Lots of funny faces this episode.
Tumblr media
Pikachu’s voice actor says Ash's name (Pikapi) in a very scared manner here.
Tumblr media
They're all in the same pose! How cute! <3
Tumblr media
Ash’s voice actor makes a great confused noise here, the voice actors are doing some fun stuff in this episode.
Tumblr media
The pokedex is useless throughout the whole episode, giving entries similar to this one every time Ash tries it. I’ll bet it knows more about ghost Pokémon nowadays.
Tumblr media
Ash be like “your bits aren’t funny.” Absolutely brutal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rip Pikachu and Ash.
Tumblr media
Haunter can apparently remove ghosts from dead bodies, yet another cursed pokemon fact.
Tumblr media
They are very shocked to look down and see their dead bodies. Pikachu's face in particular is very funny to me for some reason.
Tumblr media
That's not how it works Ash. (Except for you it kinda is.)
Tumblr media
The first thing he does after dying is to go bother Misty. He's so rude.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Who knew being dead was so much fun!
Tumblr media
Aww, they're just sensitive little guys.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Poor Brock and Misty don't have a good time this episode.
Tumblr media
And that's the episode! Ash just decides not to die and that works, Haunter has decided to travel with them for a bit but isn't actually caught by Ash, and we wait in suspense to see if Haunter will be enough to beat the gym leader. (Also I have the same sense of humor as Ash apparently because I found the face Haunter is making in the second photo really funny.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We have one more episode left in this little arc, but we won't be finishing it until the new year because I'm taking a week break for Christmas.
Until then Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

okay so i just steamrolled thru detective pikachu returns over the past 2 days because i was sick and had nothing else better to do and right after finishing it i went into the tags and WOWIE the negative reception is very large!! i do understand and even agree with some of it but i just felt the need to get my own thoughts down (again. sick with nothing better to do) so take a peek under readmore for very typical elongated halo ramblings about his fave video game series
for the record i never played the first game (only watched a few clips of it on youtube even) but i did go see the movie in theaters. just figured i'd mention this ahead of time so my favoritism is known and to prevent myself from coming off as a perfectly unbiased reviewer
BEWARE THE SPOILERS BTW
(post-editing note: it be long under here, you have been warned)
to start off YEAG this game is not worth 50 bucks! the story's pacing is all over the place and is very basic, the graphics are not particularly well refined, the characters' expressions do not fluctuate as much as they should (professor gordon in particular ;-; i felt so bad for him), and the voice acting outside of merloch and detective pikachu himself are kinda phoned in! it felt like an early 2000s 4kids dub for real. even the gameplay aspects themselves were rather meh in presentation; the button hitboxes were annoying to deal with and as cool as i thought the "main" mechanics were they were incredibly clunky and the tension they tried to build up in the "solving the case" climaxes was just Not It. there was absolutely no reason for the loading/pauses to take that long
(the pokemon gimmicks were okay tho. i would die for growlithe)
however, this isn't a problem specific to this game. while i enjoyed scarlet it was definitely not 60 bucks material (and when i went back to it for the teal mask i even went "good lord, did it always run this badly?"). i gotta give credit to detective pikachu, at least this game ran properly for the most part and never crashed on me lmao
while that doesn't negate the criticisms i previously mentioned i simply wanted to say that this is going to be a problem for as long as pokemon keeps making money. this isn't me finger-wagging at anyone in particular (i certainly have no room to talk, i did say i liked scarlet), i just wanted to say: yeah, pokemon has been A Mess
"but halo!" you cry. "you talked like the negative reception was overblown! what gives the giant negative paragraph??"
because much like scarlet, i still really enjoyed this game sdfjnsdk. how can i say that with confidence, though, when i largely agree that there were many, many issues to be had with its performance?
the word of the day: expectations
and perhaps this is where my bias comes into it. whenever i play a spinoff game (like snap or pokepark for instance), i don't really go into it for mindblowing gameplay and stories, i do it for the same reason this series has kept me enraptured for over a decade of my life:
the pokemon themselves!!
there are SO MANY little things that the regular games don't go into, and while i have my own headcanons and OCs i can play off of, it is so much fun to see actual canon material acknowledge certain things you've only ever theorized about!!
the whimsicott were so fun to watch float around, the article asking where a furret's tail began and ended made me laugh out loud, the fact that they went hard into the "slowpoke tails are eaten as food" thing, and the "let's not get into that right now" jokes about venonat hunting other pokemon and dusknoir eating souls LIKE. i LOVE when pokemon goes into its more "serious" aspects. i know main series games do it too occasionally but outside of offhanded mentions or pokedex entries, do they go this hard into them? if they do and i'm just stupid pls tell me about it i'll eat that shit up
being reminded of less-talked-about pokemon is always a plus and how can you not pop off when you see one of your faves included in the story? (INTELEON AND WOOPER I'LL KICK THEIR ASSES 4 U) it's simply fun immersing yourself into the world of pokemon and getting a glimpse of what it would be like to have pokemon walking down the street and how that affects everyday life! maybe the story is basic, but it served its purpose and i had fun going along with it!
perhaps it's just my mental illness talking, but walking around and seeing all the pokemon and THEN doing the quiz girl's quizzes was actually kinda nice! even if the puzzles weren't that hard, i can't lie and say i didn't pump my fist when i guessed where the mystery was going like with cramorant swallowing the jewel or how the passimian statues needed to hold different berries. overall, i just enjoyed being reminded of how much i know and what i love about this series
also, the ways they incorporated the movie were pretty baller. i liked how they didn't just do a repeat of the mewtwo plot from the movie and let me tell you, even tho i called it early on, i liked that my suspicions about the aurora drop being deoxys were confirmed!! (i suppose it's not that hard to guess bcs what other pokemon comes from space, but i just recently finished playing omega ruby again and i normally don't think about deoxys a lot so LET ME HAVE THIS)
plus "i heard they made a movie about the R case" MADE ME SCREAM. i thought they were just going to ignore the movie and do their own thing but then they DID THAT. incredible. you can call my expectations low (which is valid) but holy fuck
so the TLDR for those who want this: if you want a sweet but cliche game exploring the world of pokemon with a lot of funny moments + worldbuilding, then this game is perfect for you. if you want a game with a groundbreaking story with graphics to boot, then yeah, you're not gonna find it here. i've even seen people say their own nostalgia of the original spinoff wasn't enough to get them to enjoy this game, so take my words with a grain of salt
i would say just watch compilations of the game on youtube, but not every youtuber is gonna go fully exploring the game for all of its little details, so if you care about that kind of stuff, buying the game is your best bet. also if you don't care about that kind of stuff then you should just ignore the game altogether etc etc anYwAY
as for a TLDR for the TLDR: new pokemon snap is goated and i would say a more enjoyable experience than this game esp if you didn't like it so PLEASE buy it the game's only 30 bucks and you can throw treats at pokemon PLEASE it has so many sidequests and interactions you can partake in PLEASE i prommy i won't bite PLEASE stick your fingers in my enclosure PLEASE PLEASE PLE

So I almost forgot to show off my trainer in Pokemon Scarlet!
You all have seen the awesome art @k-chips did for me, but imma post it again alongside general screens screenshots of her:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Trainer Profile: Samantha Weiss
Age: 17
Nationality: Unovan
Favorite Subject: History, Art, and Biology
Team: Tuesday (Meowscarada), Leliana (Corviknight), N (Zoroark, smaller than usual), Loid (Sylveon), Alder (Volcarona)/Cullen (Pyroar), Riley (Lucario), Koraidon, Zorua (Shiny Zorua)
Born in Unova, cousins with White, Unova’s Champion and who is off searching for N (and who is rumored to be missing). Isn’t a big fan of battling, at least battling other trainers. Prefers exploring/ finding new Pokemon/ picnicking. Wants to be a Pokemon professor someday and aims to complete her pokedex. Her hero is Laventon, the creator of the first pokedex. Fiercely protective of her friends, has a soft spot for Arven. A bean, smol bean.
Totally is in love with him lol
Team Personalities:
Tuesday: Samantha’s starter and one of her aces. A girl. Curious and nurturing. The older sister/mom of the team. Friends with Mabosstiff, originally grooming and laying with them while they were still recovering
Leliana: Named for a video game character. A glutton. Bit of a clutz. Loves shiny things; often chases Gimeghouls around
N: unusually small for a Zoroark. Mischievous and tends to pull tricks. Very protective of Samantha, and gets jealous easily. BFFS with Leliana. Often butts heads with Riley
Loid: Named for a character from an anime. A bit spoiled. Samantha’s other ace. Rather serious. Koraidon fears him, even if Loid could care less about him. Likes Arven.
Alder: A cuddlebug (lol). Used to sit on Samantha’s head as a Larvesta, and still does despite being bigger than her. Named for the former Champion of Unova. Thinks he’s smaller than he really is. Talkative and cheerful
Cullen: Named for a character in a video game. Samantha found him being bullied as a Litleo being bullied by a group of Gastly. Tends to wait and study a foe before attacking. Scared of Ghost types. Loves little kids and Deerling- has befriended several wild and owned Deerling.
Riley: Stern and serious. Rarely speaks. The peacemaker of the group. Often butts heads with N.
Koraidon: Sammich lover. Dislikes battle, so Samantha never forces him to battle. Scared of Loid, even though the Fairy-Type could care less. (In the AI!Clavell AU: Technically Clavell’s, but he requested she keep Koraidon for the time being.)
Zorua: A shiny Zorua Samantha found rummaging through her bag one day. A baby, having assumedly only hatched earlier the same day he met Samantha, he doesn’t battle. Refuses to return to his Pokeball and enjoys traveling around in her arms or in her bag. Jealous of Arven and a bit judgemental of him.
Does she alternate Alder and Cullen? Yes. Do Zorua and Koraidon exceed the limit of 6 Pokémon? Also yes, but I imagine you can keep more if they aren't used in battle- Zorua is a literally baby while Kor isn't a battler and prefers zooming around lol
Is her team (and by extension mine) named for Pokémon and Dragon Age characters besides Tuesday, who is named for my cat? Yes and you can't make me change them this is the first time I fully named a team (my first Riolu/Lucario in every game is always named Riley after he gave us the Riolu egg, one of my favorite (if not favorite) Pokémon movie is Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, (and I may or may not still have a crush on Riley and Sir Aaron since I was little), so he is always named as such but everyone else is a new naming thing I decided to do apparently lol)
She'll be showing up in my Scarlet/Violet fics (WHEN I FINALLY START WRITING THEM 🥲)/drabbles/the occasional headcanon (so I can stop saying Player/MC) and in the AI!Clavell AU (again, when my lazy ass finds energy and motivation and inspiration QAQ)
Might make an old blog an ask blog for her, no idea yet.
Feel free to ask about her!

Umbreon facts because it's my favorite Eeveelution and has an amazing shiny!
Umbreon Facts
Tumblr media
-The scientific name for Umbreon is "Luna vulpes altera" which means "other moon fox"
-Like Espeon, Umbreons appearance changes depending on the time it evolves. Umbreon evolving at twilight will have lighter colored fur, Umbreon that evolved at night or midnight is the most common, (and the look you see on the pokedex) and Dusk Umbreon have ears that point more downward as well as more Crescent shaped patterns
-Research shows that ancient Umbreon used to be dark/ poison types. Umbreon still have some of their poison abilities leftover, as they can secrete a poisonous sweat from their paws. Researchers aren't sure what happened to make them lose their poison typing, or why their isn't a poison type evolution for Eevee
-Umbreon have the longest canine teeth (fangs) of any Eeveelutions
-Umbreon have sharp retractable claws
-There have been many instances where young children mistake the red eyes if an Umbreon pearing through the dark as a monster
-When out hunting, Umbreon will dim their lights to blend in with the darkness
-Umbreon will also use the biolumincesent lights to attract mates
Tumblr media
-There's an old Johto Fairytale of people that would be humans during the day, but transform into Umbreon at night in the full moon
-The yellow parts on Umbreon isn't just on their fur; it's also on their skin. They make them glow by combining luciferin, luciferases, and oxygen. It's the same way Ampharos tails glow
-When scared or surprised, Umbreon arch their back and raise their tails
-A lot of myths state that Umbreon is bad luck, while Espeon is good luck. But some regions consider them as a sign of good luck
-Umbreon, Glaceon, and Leafeon have identical footprints
-In one region near Paldea, Umbreon were said to be messengers of gods, and were Worshipped as such. Same with Espeon

(If you're curious, here are some other eeveelutions I did)

strangled red interpretation , might contain death or gore and obviously talks of possible suicide or strangulation
Also warning long ... Long post so I'll make a cut at a certain part.
Okay so,
Steven and Mike, both got abandoned by their parents a little bit pre-miki era. They were already having a hard time. The parents either were both just not good influences and just straight up decided to leave or they lost custody of Steven and Mike became the new guardian for him.
Mike and Steven only have each other and their pokemon that they grew up with. Both have teams, but they both obviously are more connected with their Blastoise and Charizard. They temporarily stopped when Mike started to realize 'oh shit I have to get a job and actually raise my brother'. So during that time Mike wasn't training. Steven was tho.
Steven would mainly focus on training, Mike would help out and do some too but Mike was mainly working at one of the Pokemarts to help with bills and get food on the table.
Steven and Mike realized later on they haven't really had time to connect, so they eventually went back to Pokemon training and gathered badges.
Sooner or later Mike actually gets to the end with Steven, they fight, yada yada, and Steven wins YAYYYY he's the champion of Kanto YAYYYY.
Then Mike's like "you know it would be super cool if I could try to train with Miki bc y'know she's super strong. Maybe you can teach Dew a few things too whaddya say"
Steven says no, then Mike says "cmon pls" then they trade and yeah Miki's dead.
Obviously as everyone else probably sees it, Miki died from a short circuit when the bros traded with their Gameboys??? Or Pokedex idk. Some sort of a device where you got a linking cable y'know? And it electrocuted Miki (IDK how the damage was done to her neck, maybe something during the process focused on that and snapped it. Steven never got to see her body until later when he uses missing no but more on that later)
My brain is super fuzzy with this, so I'm sorry if this isn't accurate with the og creepypasta but,
Steven is just, at THIS point now, where he starts to be a selective mute. Shadows over the eyes, just straight up numb to everything. He is angry, yeah, he probably lashed out at Mike after it happened but the majority of his personality is shattered. Just an empty husk, doing what he can do besides being outside and trying to compete with other people because what's the point? His favorite pokemon died.
His other pokemon, he takes care of them well, feeding them and playing with them, but rarely does Steven ever feel anything anymore.
I don't see him being full of rage or anything like that until he actually goes outside after talking to Mike
"You should try to explore. I mean, walking outside for fresh air. Might help you." - mike
And Steven does. He does and it gives him time to think.
But Steven starts to realize none of the other pokemon approaches him. Just running away, immediately.
Give him time to really think, like "there isn't anyone who cares about me more than Miki" kinda??? Like yes Mike was there but not all the time.
Mike needed to go out and work, pay bills and only came by to help out occasionally but Miki was ALWAYS there for Steven when he needed comfort or someone to just listen to him ramble.
And yeah, basically he's like "I'm not going back home, not like Mike would want me to anyway"
Aaannnddd the further down he went, the more he thinks, and I think this starts a lil era where Steven kinda just lets himself stay outside for a couple months and goes missing so he can "think" more
Okay so... Now I say maybe it's been a month or two?? Stevens just uses leftover money, going around and finding places to sleep. He just doesn't feel right about coming back home yet but he did realize something
If he didn't trade at all, and if Mike didn't constantly ask about it then maybe this never should have happened. The more he thinks about this, the more he wishes he's never talked to Mike. This is where his anger boils up more. He's constantly in an echo chamber, by himself and wandering around.
Eventually this builds up to where Steven is like "oh shit I remember this one thing that I saw a while back maybe I should visit it"
Aaaaand missingno. Uhhhh yeah :3
Thanks to a friend I have a better understanding of it so basically, I can see it where Steven flies over to that area with one of the members of his pokemon team, sees missing no, and before missing no could really like, offer a deal, Stevens just like "whatever you say I'll do it as long as you can help me bring back " like DA devil y'know.
Missing no's like ":o oh wait really fr oh shit Kay. Well it's gonna cost you maybe... Gonna hurt yourself are you sure"
And Steven is obviously like "ummm gimme mine mine mine" bc he doesn't care about his body, he's stinky and covered in dirt
and his own blood btw bc I can see him having a negative Stim where he scratches his wrists and neck with his nails
Missing no is like lol okay fine and goes into the inventory...
And when I first heard this story I thought I was missing something... Combined itself with Steven??? HajdkIskx?? So my interp is weird sorry so
Missing no combined with Steven, Steven is in pain, twitching and gets all bigger and stronger. And he uses his combined power to revive Miki from her grave. And yay! She's back... But not... It's just a husk that's moving around.
She doesn't remember Steven but she's friendly with him bc oh wow a human. But Steven doesn't care, he's just happy his corpse of a Pokemon is alive :)
Oh forgot to say but the missing no combined with Steven makes him even more feral and wants to kill and destroy everything in his path so that explains why he suddenly is like imma kill Mike
Umm Mike death imma warn you,
...
Steven comes home. He's a mess. Covered in cuts and bruises, and soaked in water.
Because REMEMBER. He had to SWIM. FROM CINNABAR ISLAND. BACK TO PALLET TOWN LMFAO.
Miki kinda was rough with him at first when he revived her so he has some fresh cuts from her. She's friendly now, but that's because Steven tamed her somehow I think???
He walks in, it's dead at night, midnight. Mike's sleeping in his bed soundly. He's actually tired, and has been setting up missing posters of his brother for the last two weeks. Was worried sick, never caught a wink so he's dead asleep until the door opens.
There's Steven. The room is so dark, Mike can only see the outlines of his brother's hat, hair, and a glint of Stevens eye.
Mike's sitting up right away, ecstatic that his brother is finally home and he's at the brink of tears. Just, he doesn't care and he isn't mad, he's just happy the only family he has left is home.
But Steven isn't moving from the doorway. Why isn't he moving? He's just staring at him.
Mike's asking what's wrong, are you hurt, did you see something.
Steven just lunges forward, faster than lightning and tackles Mile down. Mike obviously is fighting back, asking what happened and why he's doing this. And finally he feels two large, sticky hands whip to his neck.
They're tightening, grilling with such force that it just feels like a machine is doing the job. What makes it worse is that now Mike can see the cuts and blood on Stevens face. He can see a little bit of the expression. It wasn't smiling. But the eyes were dead and pin pricked.
Thumbs trap the windpipe, making it harder. Oh and bonus, a knee is digging into Mike's stomach to make it harder to breathe.
As this is going on Mike is still thrashing, nails digging into Stevens already sliced up arms and reopening wounds. And eventually, Mike reached up to swipe at Stevens face.
That immediately encouraged Steven to just jerk his hands, and snap the neck.
Mike grows limp, and Steven stays there for about a minute to process everything.
Then he leans back and stares.
Yeah. Finally it happened. He did what he wanted to do. Steven doesn't cry right away. He just slips off the bed, grabs Mike's arms, and drags the body to the backyard.
He's heading to the very same woods he disappeared off to, in the bitter cold.
There's blood that trails somehow, but it's not a lot. It's all from Steven. And finally when he finds a good place, he starts digging with his bare hands, a new grave for Mike.
...
Yay
Idk what else to say besides ummm I think Steven just ,,, goes back home, sits on the bed and stares at the wall for hours. He doesn't comprehend everything as real until he lays down on the very same area where Mike passed away.
And I think what breaks him is noticing Mike's pokeball on the nightstand, which has dew in it.
I also think he cries bc of the pokeball bc that's when he realized how much Mike did for him and this whole time Mike was thinking about Steven
Oh even worse I think is when he walks to the woods he sees the missing posters and starts to be like ".... Ohhh”
That's it, yeah. Lmk what you think, thanks for hearing me ramble.

You say you’re a nerd in your bio, but what are you a nerd about? Feel free to infodump.
I more Nerd off on my general account bc if I see like a single horny thing I get distracted lol
Anyways I'll start with the thing I've poured the most time into: Pokemon. I almost never make fakémon but I've made 2 so far: a Paradox pokemon Iron Queen and a legendary pokemon that's based on horror as a genre, other than that I have a pokedex list that even at font size 7 on Google docs (any smaller and it's illedgeable) it's like 14 pages, and at that size Google starts to lag, I've also done a full pokedex with stats and everything (not individual stats but base stat total) in a Google sheets and i had to split it into 2 sheets because over 500 pokemon pokemon spread over 4 mini sheets lags Google as well so I split it between 2 sheets with generations 1-4 on the first on and 5-9 on the second sheet.
Tumblr media
This is a screenshot of the first generation from mobile, copy and paste most of that information for each form of each pokemon (at least ones with stat/type changes so for example partner Pikachu counts as a different form but not spiky eared pichu) and yeahhh it overwhelms Google a lot, I also have several boxes full of my favorite pokemon as well in pokemon ultra moon as well as maxed out the time in pokemon y, I don't yet have a Nintendo switch so I can't transfer those pokemon yet so that's a little sad but they just means I can still poke-amie them 🥰
I also play a lot of minecraft but there isn't much to talk about with that, same with batman Arkham, video games with little creativity and are very straight lined stories are difficult to really hyperfixate about because what are you going to say? And experience that everyone else has had? Now minecraft is not included in this but when you play alone there isn't much you can really talk about that excites you besides what projects you've done/are planning. I also enjoy mega man and am on summit c-side in celeste (with every other stage up to then beaten all a-sides beaten, all b-sides beaten, all but summit and core c-sides beaten and have not beaten where capitalism has not corrupted... THE MOOOON (I understand that's not the meme but that's the level)
Now in terms of non digital media (excluding music we'll get to that) i like to play magic thr gathering, i don't like their current moto of "power creep so "people will keep buying" even tho people still buy our product and since Commander is popular we'll make all of our products for that" so I just make theoretical decks online, mostly ones that are themed because it's fun making pirate themed decks and things like that. Another game I'm really obsessed with is Exploding Kittens it's really fun and I've gotten every expansion up to this point and yahh I just really enjoy that game. Otherwise if I know people irl I try to play rpgs as I have a BUNCH of dnd minis I've painted, he'll I got a big dragon for Christmas a few years back and here's what he looks like:
Tumblr media
He looks REALLY COOL and I realize I did the fire wrong but, Oh well, Too late it's fine. I'm also making a Kirby rpg and a Mario party board game but I REALLY need to get to work on it as I haven't been working on them. I also love writing stories and am currently writing a book, I'm studies character development from YouTube videos to ensure I don't accidently write static characters as the main characters but I LOVE the concepts I made for it I also used to like reading but my mother kept mocking me for "reading erotica" books when 1 it was before the author started making them kinky 2 I didn't fucking KNOW they were erotic so I stopped reading because she kept making fun of me and pretty much just telling me (indirectly) that it was gross that I was reading that stuff even though I didnt know that's what it was
In terms of music I love dragonforce and will go off on how cool some of their music is and also like... ok there's too many that I enjoy to list off but just know I like metal rock and pop (some pop modern pop is veerrrryyy generic and bad) and hell there are stupid like rap Chord thing that i hear CONSTANTLY and I just hate that stupid Mario ds mini game instructions sounding music that fucking everyone is listening to because now even MUSIC has gotten 'safe' these days and i really hate it
Other than all of that what I'm needing about may change from day to day or week to week depending on what I've been doing
Oh one last note: I do also enjoy hypnosis and dronification as non kinks as well has dronification is just... SO helpful i can't focus for the life of me which is why I still don't have my damned drivers license or even past the first page of my book yet and dronification pretty much FORCING you to focus on things would be a LIFE SAVER and hypnosis for a similar reason I have a really difficult time truly relaxing due to my living situation so hypnosis helps me relax more, hell I have some trust issues too thanks to being overly cautious in my childhood so it really helps with a lot of things although my biggest trust problem is I either don't trust you at all or I trust you too much lol

I started a new run of Pokemon Violet as Cyno. I thought which pokemon could suit him in one way or another.
I name my Pokemom after King of Invocation Characters because of course Cyno would do that. XD
After careful consideration I landet on these 6: (My justification for these random pokemon are below xD)
Tumblr media
I was okay with not having one of the starter pokemon for the run. However, Skeledirge fits the vibe enough for me. His motive with souls reminds me in a way of Cynos connection with Hermanubis. His states that he is ready for his soul to be judged and to judge others etc. And that he willingly became a vessel for a spirit. And Skeledirge has this bird spirit living with him. I thought it fit. Also in the King of Invocation Text Abu duelted with the "Crocodile King" and yes. xD
Masquerain I not only choose because I wanted to use on in the longest time. xD All of its pokedex entries state, that its fake eyes scare other Pokemon. Cyno has a equally scary reputation and look, despite being small like Masquerain. And it is quit fast like Cyno himself. For me it is enough reason. (Hopefully)
Farigiraf looks so odd but hear me out okay! Its name is in most languages a pun or wordplay. I firmly believe Cyno would enjoy this fact alone and catch it. Yes, that is my whole reason but... Cyno can be quite silly and relaxed of duty so I think it suites his personality.
Rabsca is a Scarab. Shocking I know. And Cynos ascension material are Scarabs. Other than that Rabscas Pokedex Entry states, soothingly rolls the ball so the child in the ball can sleep. The carefully protects the child within. Cyno cares deeply for his friends especially for Collei. I think Rabsca is a good represintation for his selflessness and love he has for others.
Luxray is mostly for the vibes. xD I wanted atleast one electric Pokemon in the team. Other than that its Pokedex talks about Luxray hunting its prey ans spoting them wherever they want to hide. It fits Cyno too, because he never stops until he found his prey.
Lucario is pretty easy to explain do I even have to say anything? I fits the aesthetic, it is pretty strong and in its Pokedex Entries talks about it only giving their trust to people with justice in their heart. Yeah even if it isn't my favorite pokemon I guess it has to come too. xD How much are you disagreeing with me? Please let me know lol.

TMNT Pokemon AU - pt.1
Hello everyone!
So I'm a huge Pokemon fan, I've spent a lot of time playing the games and watching the shows. It's become one of my favorite franchises ever. And I had the amazing idea to combine two things that I love: Pokemon and TMNT. This is just a fun idea that I've had in my head for a while now and I wanted to share it. Keep in mind that this is for no particular version of the turtles.
Enjoy!
Word count: 1,146
Tumblr media
So to start this off, this is specifically looking at each turtle and the type they would specialize them if they were a gym leader. Other characters will come later.
The number of pokemon a gym leader has on their team depends on when the player faces them. So for example, the first gym leader will only have a maximum of two pokemon while the seventh gym leader would have a maximum of four. However, I'm going to give them a full team of 6 pokemon of the same type excluding mythicals, Ultra Beasts and legendary pokemon.
Each gym leader as one ace that they put into battle when they only have one pokemon left. I'll elaborate on why I think they would choose that specific pokemon as their ace.
First off...
Leonardo
Leo is unwavering and not the most flexible individual (let's be real, he's pretty stubborn). He is strong, focused and will do anything to protect his family. This is why I think he would be a steel type specialist.
Steel types have a few weaknesses: Ground, fire, and fighting. But many of the secondary typings that some steel types have turns super effective damage into not very effective damage. Many of the other typings can't do much damage to steel types as well.
Some notable steel types include: Lucario, Bisharp, and Dialga.
Here is what I think Leo's team would look like:
Lucario (fighting/steel)
Aegislash (steel/ghost)
Mawile (steel/fairy)
Corviknight (flying/steel)
Excadrill (ground/steel)
Kingambit (dark/steel) - Ace
I chose Kingambit as Leo's ace, first and foremost, because of the aesthetic. It also helps that Kingambit's shiny is blue. But I also chose Kingambit as his ace because of it's Pokedex entry in Pokemon Scarlet. It says, "Only a Bisharp that stands above all others in its vast army can evolve into Kingambit." To me this just really screamed Leo, because as we all know, he was the one chosen out of the four brothers to become the leader. Kingambit's Pokemon Violet pokedex entry states that it isn't good at stratgizing and will use it's brute strength to keep pushing which is something that Leo has done on multiple occasions.
Tumblr media
Next we have...
Raphael
Now with Raph I didn't want to automatically resort to saying that he specializes in fire types. As we all know his hot temper is one of his most defining character traits. This may seem out of left field, but I think Raph would make a really good ground type specialist. Ground types, like steel types, are tanky and can hit hard (kinda like Raph).
Another reason I didn't go with fire types is although they have access to pretty powerful moves, they 're a lot more frail than ground types are. They lack that natural bulk.
It's important to note that ground types have an advantage against steel types and can hit them for supereffetive damage. I like to think that this could be representative of how Raph is always questioning Leo's authority and his decisions as leader.
Some notable ground types include: Geodude, Quagsire, Groudon
Here is what I think Raph's team would look like:
Torterra (grass/ground)
Krookodile (ground/dark)
Camerupt (fire/ground)
Mudsdale (ground)
Gliscor (ground/flying)
Garchomp (dragon/ground) - Ace
If you've played Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum or it's remakes you know that Garchomp is an absolute powerhouse. It's honestly one of the most well-rounded Pokemon out there. Garchomp is big, intimidating, and hits like a truck. You definitely don't want to get on the bad side of Raph or Garchomp, because if you do, it's over.
Tumblr media
Thirdly there's...
Donatello
Like Raph, I was in a bit of a pickle when I was thinking about what type I think Donnie would specialize in. Obviously psychic types are a no-brainer because he is the smartest of all his brothers. But then I realized that Donnie is known for tinkering and inventing all sorts of things. So I finally came to the conclusion that Donnie would specialize in electric types.
Electric types only have one weakness in ground types, and can hot water and flying types for super effective damage. Electric types can be tricky to deal with because some will have an ability like Static that can cause paralysis, or have access to moves like Thunderwave that also inflict paralysis. They can be super annoying if used strategically.
Some noteable electric types include: Pikachu, Rotom, Zapdos
Here is what I think Donnie's team would look like:
Heliolisk (electric/normal)
Magnezone (electric/steel)
Rotom wash form (electric/water)
Luxray (electric)
Jolteon (electric)
Dracozolt (electric/dragon) - Ace
It was really tricky for me to figure out what Donnie's ace would be. Looking through the electric types I looked at any of them that had a design based around some aspect of science (Like how Magnezone looks like a UFO, but is also based around magnets and magnetism). I decided to go with Dracozolt, which is one of the two electric type fossil Pokemon introduced in generation 8. I think that if he were placed in the Pokemon universe Donnie would absolutely be fascinated with the fossil Pokemon and the science of the world as a whole.
Tumblr media
Last but not least we have...
Michelangelo
Mikey was actually the easiest for me to figure out. Considering the fact that he's claimed to be the best at combat (not to mention he was the Battle Nexus champion in the 2003 series, and Rise!Mikey's insane strength which was enough to throw a building), it makes the most sense that Mikey is a fighting type specialist.
Fighting types are able to hit a lot of powerful types like steel and dark for supereffective damage. However, ghost types are completely immune and types like psychic, flying, and fairy are able to hit fighting types hard.
Some noteable fighting types include: Primeape, Machamp, Zamazenta
Here is what I think Mikey's team would look like:
Hitmontop (fighting)
Pawmot (electric/fighting)
Scrafty (dark/fighting)
Grapploct (fighting)
Gallade (psychic/fighting)
Quaquaval (water/fighting) - Ace
First off, I chose Quaquaval as Mikey's ace because it is (as far as my knowledge goes) based on Brazilian samba dancers like you woul dsee in a Carnival parade. Mikey has a lot of energy and I feel like dancing is just one of those activities he just likes to do. It was a little hard to choose a fighting type that really fit Mikey's vibe, and I landed on Quaquaval because it incorporates dancing into it's fighting style and Mikey is seen to sometimes have a unique fighting style himself (2012!Mikey for example).
Tumblr media
Thank you for reading to the end. This AU is just a fun idea that I want to develop more, so I'll be posting things every now and then. You'll be able to find everything related to this under the pokemon au tag on this blog.

pokey mon ?
i don't know if you meant actual characters or the pokemon themselves but i'm going with pokemon anyway
blorbo: murkrow... it is my blorbo because it is a little bird with a hat, it is incredible, it is cute, and it is misunderstood by whoever described it in the pokedex as: "feared and loathed by many, it lures people into fog and mountainous terrain where they become lost"... mind your business! maybe you shouldn't have chased a crow into a mountain because it stole your heirloom necklace. sounds like a you problem. i'm telling you- once that murkrow plushie on pokemart is finally on sale i am buying him instantly
mandibuzz: this is literally just a vulture, and it has won me over. literally nothing about it is different from a regular vulture, other than it attaches bones to itself. like it's just some bird and it endears me with it's bold and simple premise: it's just some bird.
scrimblo bimblo: scolipede my big dog bug friend scolipede, literally my favorite of the bug pokemon!! it has so much speed for a lumbering giant, not to mention that it can have speed boost as an ability? look at that bastard go he's going to bust a hole through the mcdonalds if nobody stops him!!! like a centipede, but if deadlier and cute!
glup shitto: stunfisk... it is the electric pancake pokemon... looking at it brings me an emotion of "get a load of this guy. he's so shaped. he will electrocute you if you are unlucky enough to step upon it." everybody that tries to draw it is unsure how to draw it, even official artists. there is no merch of it in the pokemon center. it somehow got a galarian form and nobody asked for it, but ME. I AM THE ONE WHO PSYCHICALLY SENT THAT IDEA TO AN NINTENDO EMPLOYEE to make stunfisk 2% more relevant. you're welcome.
poor little meow meow: all the meowths. alolan, galar, kanto. they are literally poor little meow meows. there's just a bunch of cats running around with a little coin molded into their heads and sometimes they can take YOUR money. what do they DO with this money? do they have a little economy? but 0h, we can't forget The Meowth. team rocket's meowth literally learned to walk and talk for a girl who didn't see the value of his efforts and now he's king of. well. still nothing. but- now he's got friends <3
horse plinko: everytime a pokemon trainer that challenges me to a battle when i'm trying to get my pokemon back to the pokecenter from a poison or burn is getting the full wrath of my team, i'm pulling out the type advantage chart and using x-boost items to fucking obliterate you if my snubull faints because you are wasting precious moments of their energy (i am aware that the damage counter only happens when you take steps; i am just petty)
eeby deeby: those dumb bimbos from sword and shield with the shittily-shaped hair. you made your hair shaped like a sword and a shield. for what? it isn't stylish. it isn't practical, either. your hair is eventually going to run out of the 180$ product you spent reinforcing it with, and it's going to slump over your face once the wind has made up its mind in ending your pathetic attempt at having a unique and quirky hairstyle. oh but it's for the bit, you say! it's not a bit anymore if it become a core part of your personality. you had hopes! dreams, even! now you are just the bastard and his brother who did their hair in a funny shape. nobody would even recognize you if you ditched your shtick. and the post-game isn't good either. fuck those guys in particular.

Can we talk about what a feminist icon Salazzle is?
One of my favorite Pokemon, definitely my favorite from Gen VII, is Salazzle. When I tell others in the fandom that, I'm often judged and teased. The reason? A quick Google search for "Salazzle" will quickly (even by Internet standards) turn up results for rule 34/hentai/sexualized art. Discussions of Salazzle on forums, message boards, and other online communities frequently center around threads like "Why did they make Salazzle so sexy?" All in all, the common consensus is that
1. Salazzle is sexy and
2. Her sexy design makes non-furry fans uncomfortable
Tumblr media
To be clear, I'm not here to debate whether she is or isn't sexy. Still, there is no denying that her design IS intentionally provocative. The crest above her eyes that's made to resemble eyeliner, decorated underbelly that draws attention to her chest, and her decidedly human-like fighting stance to accentuate her curvaceous body...these are not arbitrary choices made by GameFreak. Certainly there's some discomfort coming from the fact that she appears in a children's game series, but what are we really saying when we fall for the opinion that her alluring design is, in and of itself, uncomfortable? Why are we urged by so many in the fandom to feel uncomfortable by her design?
Tumblr media
Notably, Salazzle can only be female because they only evolve from female Salandit. In other words, male Salandit never evolve. Consider, too, her Pokedex descriptions: "Salazzle lives deep in caves and forces the Salandit it has attracted with its pheromones to serve it" (Pokemon Ultra Sun); "The winner of competitions between Salazzle is decided by which one has the most male Salandit with it" (Pokemon Shield). What we are left with, then, is an attractive, female character that uses her sexuality to reign over males, males who by definition can never evolve to her ranks.
So, is it possible, nay probable, that so many fans (boys and men in particular) are actually threatened by the power dynamic that Salazzle represents?
Yes, and this is absolutely a hill I'm happy to die on.

You know its absolutely amazing how maybe a week ago Pokemon had done everything right. They had a badass knight raven, they had MOTHAFUCKIN WOOLOO WOOO and they had kaijus, interesting characters, and the wild area.
Now its practically in the gutter lol. I am a fanboy but yikes. They messed up. I wouldn't be shocked if they decide to add the rest of the pokemon they took out as a patch, but game freak is very stubborn and probably won't. They'll include all of them as a selling point in the next one tho, bet on that.
So since it's okay to talk about it now without getting death threats, we need to chat. I've actually had my grievances with Game Freak for a while and did defend them a bit, but no more.
Since 2013 they've shilled gen 1 with mostly gen 1 megas until the Hoenn remake where they still made more Kanto megas, and refused to make Alolan forms that weren't Kanto pokemon
They took out battle frontier in oras because Masuda thought mobile games would compete with it
They dumbed down LGPE because he seriously thinks mobile games are more competition and to appeal to fans that dropped after gen 1. Even with the shitty catching controls he calls it his magnum opus. What.
They've consistently refused to design at least 100 new pokemon for gen 6 and 7, probably 8 if we're being realistic. No, megas, variants, and forms do not count or else each unown and Arceus would be a separate pokemon.
While I enjoyed ultra sun, it should've been dlc.
LGPE also limits you to 153 pokemon, 2 of which you need shitty Go for.
Introduced walking with your mons, took it out, then added it back. And probably took it back again
Megas and variants are still cool. Refuse to make more and blame art block for no mega Flygon instead of hiring someone who CAN make one
Took out events where you got actual story and lore and actually got to fight and capture these legendary and mythical pokemon in favor of handing out codes or going to gamestop or just being HANDED these mythical beings because MASUDA thought the Azure Flute was too complicated
And while we're at it, some other grievances
2019, Gyrados and Steelix have to be dynamaxed to be close to their accurate sizes. Hmmm.
2019, these "better, more intricate animations" still has Scorbunny hopping once or twice to use Doublekick when Stadium and Battle Revolution had actual movements for the moves
2019, still no game like the beta footage for Battle Revolution where Groudon hyperbeams a battlefield and HALF OF DEOXYS APART.
2019, (at least as of now) we're still tweens (BW and XY being 16 and 18 if there's any exception) with the same faces and bodies and halfassed customization options for our trainers. Most fans that play are in college or older, or at least late teens. Just saying from my own experience. The character customization should allow us more freedom with that to look older or different.
Yeah, it's time to start calling them out for it. Space ain't an issue when you can use system and SD storage space or patch shit in, and ESPECIALLY an HD system that rivals the PS4 and Xbox One. Maybe instead of prioritizing a gamble that may or may not make it like Town, you should focus on your bread and butter! Just sayin!
I'm actually going to wait this time around to buy used because I can't justify paying $60 and more for games and services that won't even allow my favourites in after beating the elite 4. And I definitely can't justify Home simply because of this:
The only place Home can send pokemon to is SwSh. Everything else is one way to Home.
If SwSh doesn't have your favorite in the pokedex, its stuck in Home until they decide to make a compatible game for it. That's not fair to the consumers.
Bank will eventually stop service. At that point, if this issue isn't fixed, you either leave your pokemon collection in Sun and Moon/Ultra, or you imprison them in Home until they decide to include them. Also not cool.
Balance is bullshit for an excuse. Just ban Landorus, MegaQuaza, The Tapus or anything else you want to get rid of from competitions, but let us have them in the game.
They keep saying "we're working very hard to do X" and using all sorts of buzzwords but if this is too hard for Game Freak, maybe give it to someone who can take it seriously! I'd be down to see Sakurai or Monolithsoft try making a Pokemon game. Or give it to the Dragon Quest guys at Square Enix or the Digimon Story guys at Bandai Namco to let them make phenomenal games.
Listen, before you tell me to off myself for this or call me names, we deserve a better pokemon game. We deserve creators that don't just phone it in or are afraid to try anything new after piracy and ice cream/garbage "ruined" gen 5 apparently (it absolute did not btw and anyone who thinks so are fuckin morons).
This is the minimum requirement every pokemon game needs. The MINIMUM.
ALL POKEMON SHOULD BE AVAILABLE IN THE DAMN GAME. This doesn't mean they have to be caught! Doesn't mean there has to be a national Dex either! Sun and Moon didn't have it but had all 800+ pokemon in the files, and they were 3ds games! $90 billion, make it work.
At least 100 original pokemon that are not alternative forms or variations, none of which are legendary or similar. $90 billion company. Hire more artists.
That's it! If you can't even do that, then give it to someone who can. Simple.
When you get down to it, there's a reason #bringbackthenationaldex trended and the treehouse video plummeted with dislikes.
"We're making this game for long time fans" was a lie I guess.
Rant over.
