The other twist: Bring in 7-2 framed person for a character witness, show that they’re innocent. Athena is panicking because of Fear(?) so Apollo is determined to Do Something, and points out how this only happened because the system is Stupid and calls Klavier and Trucy

serves as a witness to that murder case, gets found out by the defense attorney who just happens to be the daughter of the kurain master 

a young college student almost gets murdered by his girlfriend, who happens to be that same girl who was caught in a murder before 

college student winds up becoming a defense attorney studying under the attorney who defended him

happens to have been childhood friends / rivals with the prosecutor on mia’s first case, aka the one about his ex-girlfriend’s previous murder

becomes friends with the kurain master’s heir through another string of murders

somehow phoenix, maya, pearl, misty, and iris, and the summoned spirit of dahlia, all wind up in this random kurain temple in the mountains, phoenix gets hospitalized so edgeworth, the sAME prosecutor from the first ordeal, winds up involved in this one,

wait hang on if. the purpose in summoning dahlia was to murder misty and presumably also maya was.........morgan planning on using her daughter to commit two murders. of people who pearl loved...

but. if it didn’t work that means pearl didn’t do it. morgan is still in jail and even if she escaped/broke out somehow why would she have gone to all the trouble of getting pearl to do this and then just go do it herself anyway. who summoned dahlia 

dahlia and iris were both seen in different places at the same time so iris couldn’t have done it
