his presence was a welcomed change to the awestruck expressions she was used to an almost melanchonic smile grazing serene lips as she met his gaze for a tiny moment ; curious ? yes, he was a curious man by nature & always will be. that much the halovian was certain of when picturing words that'd describe the man. although he loved to put on the 'nonchalant' mask of his, robin prided herself in BEING ABLE to read others even if just a little here & there for some harder to discern cases like him. palm resting across the bottom of her face to mask amused chuckle, she lets her eyes wander over the ever growing hole in the sky once again.

❛    i missed this place a little . . people feel more like people in this part of penacony . ❜ & not the usual oblivious guest that DREAMED BIG but lost their feeting in reality. unsaid thoughts ; almost heretic in nature as penacony was supposed to be the LAND OF DREAMS. not the lands of being aware / real. most of it felt fake which was a given when considering the nature of things here. sometimes she felt like some guests have lost themselves entirely here. but the songstress didn't dare speak of such things yet the eyes & ears of what was corrupting her home seemed to be everywhere. at least the hound was someone she felt like she could be a little bit more herself with.

❛    songbird . . i like that nickname . ❜ she admitted quietly, hands clasped together before her chest sparkling hues wandering to meet the man's gaze once again. she let him see how honest she was ; mask of the perfect family member slipping as a brilliant smile overtook often GENTLE FEATURES . she remembered how sunday used to call her variations of something similar back when they were kids. when things were normal still. heavy heart felt as robin was reminded of THE LOSS . the halovian truly missed those easier days.

but those were gone. they wouldn't come back there was only THE WAY FORWARD from now on. together with those she placed her trust into to change penacony's fate for the better & break through the corruption of false harmony.
