summary: lets just say,, things get weird during halloween

okay so first of

halloween isnt a favorite holiday of most of the boys

like they all ltr are towers and skyscrapers but these kids are absolutely terrified of it all

but you just really like the holiday bc of yanno, candy, scary stuff, and omg costumes!

so you were basically very hyped and excited about it and you were excitedly humming to yourself as the date grew closer

the boys were confused as to why you were actually happy and in a good mood but they didnt complain bc they love seeing you happy

the flowery aura makes them heart eyes

oikawa ran over and he stood behind you as you were distractedly humming to your clipboard

he whispered to your ear

normally, you would shriek or flinch but you didnt and instead, turned and flashed him a grin

it was clear the others were already regretting it and you got sad bc you did work hard on getting a reservation since this haunted house was the most haunted in this part of japan

your figure in front of them made them tear their eyes away from the scary windows which they swore had someone staring at them

you assured but they still didnt look convinced

‘okay. so first, the rope is what guides you all. make sure, whatever you do, never lose grip on it bc you might get lost. keep in mind, this is an actual abandoned hospital and is known to actually be haunted so unless you want to go ghost-hunting and meet unknown people or spirits, dont stray off’

that warning should’ve scared you like the boys but you just agreed with a bright grin

the doorguy chuckled before reaching into the box beside him

ngl oikawa was already so scared that he flinched, not knowing what was inside of it

everything was going smoothly excused the screaming and everyone was actually having a little bit of fun since it was funny watching everyone scream at the littlest things

the many rooms had the actors and dear god they should be emmy winning by how they just stared at you all and still sent shivers down your spines

then the unthinkable happened

there wasnt even any light above you so everything was just black

everyone stopped, your breathing being paused and no one made a sound

but the moment they turned to what seems to be a corner, they already managed to get themselves lost

iwaizumi felt around for the familiar texture of the rope which is supposed to be at his right but in the end, his hand reached nothing

he shouted and scared the other 3

makki yelled

‘the rope. the rope’s not here anymore’

silence

then oikawa sobbed

‘oh my god im going to die’

he whimpered and makki sniffled

mattsun and iwa were the only at least stable ones and they finally resigned to defeat and grabbed their friends and walked to nowhere

on to your side!!

you and the others finally stopped running but the beating of your hearts still pumped at a fast speed

‘are we safe now?!’

kindaichi shouted and there was a chorus of confusion amongst the others

you checked and usually he would grunt but there was just silence

it was quiet and the familiar voice of oikawa was nowhere in sight

‘i dont know about you guys but my oikawa sensors just shut off’

yahaba pointed out and you gasped

‘where are they?’

kyotani refused to let go so you felt around with your left hand for the rope

to your relief, it was still there but the feeling of the missing boys outweighed it and made your anxiety levels spike up

‘should we call them? lets call them’

yahaba started but kyotani bonked his head

‘baka. they took our phones earlier’

the reminder of the confiscated form of communication meant that there was no other way you could contact the others

panic bubbled over kindaichi watari and yahaba while you kunimi and kyotani were busy thinking of something

‘i think theyve strayed off. if they didn’t, they wouldve heard us from up there’

kunimi mumbled

‘but where else could they have gone to?’

you asked and kyotani huffed beside you

‘we cant see anything. hell, i cant even see you. obviously theres probably a hallway they ran down to without even knowing they went there’

‘so youre saying theyre lost? without any way to contact us? what do we do?’

you whimpered, finally realizing and the idea of the others being gone settling in

‘this is all my fault. i shouldnt have dragged you here. i made a mistake-’

‘hey, dont freak out. im right here’

even though you couldnt see him, kenta maneuvered his way to cup your face and you felt his forehead press against yours and his nose nuzzling your cheek

the smell of cherry blossoms and vanilla with the slightest hint of sandalwood

kyotani’s scent comforted you and you were able to calm down 

‘we’ll figure this out. its okay, you got me’

he whispered and you nodded 

‘youre right here. we’ll be okay, okay?’

you giggled a little bit at the repitition of the word but smiled when he pulled you close to his chest

ugh i mightve already written a kyo route but that doesnt stop me from putting in kyo moments :”)

the other 4 were figuring out a plan that was eerily similar to the 3rd years

‘lets just finish this and ask the staff for help later’

they all agreed to kunimi’s idea and hurriedly gripped the rope to start going back to the path

you were in between kindaichi and kyotani with the former in front and the latter behind you

kyotani would occasionally whisper and you were so grateful to have someone to be there

then the lights flickered and your eyes caught sight of something down the hallway to your left and you noticed a shadow 

a shadow of a tall figure that was kinda familiar

you flinched and the voice of your blocker filled your ears

you were too focused on the voice to hear the others questions of what was happening

you started breathing heavily, the air seemingly getting colder and thinner

matsukawa’s voice this time took a harsh tone and even kyotani jumped, holding you to his chest protectively

your eyes looked over kyo’s shoulder and you saw the shadow again from behind him

you chased after the ghost and it would occasionally whisper in your ear to keep your attention until you ran into a pitch-black hallway

but a loud screech from the far right brought hope into you

kunimi noticed the beginning of a panic attack so he pulled you close to him and made sure you could feel his heartbeat

You discovered parts of a robot, a cherry, stuffed animals that looked cute, you did wonder what awaited here. It was a big mansion, full of clean furniture and dust free apparel. In the daytime it didn't look like a haunted house. It looked like an abandoned museum full of rich artifacts that should be put on shelves. You were careful with the materials, the rest were touching everything they see. You demanded them not to touch anything in case a potential ghost gets upset. But they weren't listening, instead they kept touching all the vases and going on the cob webbed beds. You went into one area, similar to a classroom. Another one of your friends entered to see pictures framed of the four girls who lived here. Ha Sooyoung, Kim Jiwoo, Park Chaewon, Son Hyeju. Your friend mentioned how in the book it explains how a ghost appears if they mention Hyeju's English name, Olivia Hye.

All your friends started yelling in fear and leaving the house, you wanted to stay there and fix the problem your friend created. You stayed there, waiting for the ghost to arrive. You've seen many ghosts, different ages, objects, nationalities. You didn't care what ghost it was. Even if the ghost you saw in front of your very eyes was pretty.

Hyeju: You called?

The uniform she had on wasn't the same as the one she was currently wearing. It was like a teenager going thru their rebellious phase, using chains for their skirt and their shirt as a crop top. She sat in her chair, soon coming close to you as you were surprised that you can touch her. How are you scared if she's a ghost? Turns out she's a spirit, not a ghost. Two different things by one major difference, spirits can actually touch people. You thought she was going to hurt you but she just wanted a handshake. You went to handshake her but she suddenly was tickling your sides. You were laughing, which set you off guard because your not ticklish.

Hyeju: As a hello, handshakes are boring because everyone usually runs away from me. I thought tickles can be an icebreaker.

She was right, you were less scared of her after that. She introduced herself as Son Hyeju, the owner of the mansion. Then there was an explanation as to why she's here and why she can't leave. Many years ago she didn't escape Eden on time, her friends left her. That caused her to be punished, now staying here until she can turn someone into a spirit. But no one is willing to commit to that. It's fun until people know, then they'll feel like an outcast, that's how Hyeju feels. For years she hasn't had anyone talk to her. One small hi from Hyeju and they run out, even if she's nice. She may look cold, badass in a way but you saw how gentle she was.

Y/n: I don't think your scary. Your kinda cute.

Hyeju: Thank you...

She shyly smiled. Instead of a flattering push it was a flattering poke. You were giggling, which Hyeju liked. She kept poking you, watching your cute reactions. Hyeju has always seen people be scared of her, finding out someone is happy talking to her makes her excited. For hands like those she sure loved making you laugh. Did she have super powers relating to tickling, because you've never laughed this much before? She was having endless amusement, making her smile. Her triangle gummy smile lit up everytime you jumped in squeals.

By the first round you already lost. You wanted to make it the best two out of three but you knew you might lose a second time. But seeing how discouraged you were she let this one slide. However the next time you lose you will get tickled on a spot Hyeju chooses. You got competitive, you've played badminton before in school. You were damn good at it so it won't be hard trying to win over a spirit. Then you lost. You were having bad luck so you can't blame yourself for losing. You asked her where your going to be tickled at since your playing badminton on hard concrete. Hyeju said there was a grass area close by to where she can tickle you at. It looked far, like you needed to jog a mile before getting there. But it took you by surprise when Hyeju hugged you, teleporting to the grassy field. At least you got the answer of realizing she has tickle powers. But the powers comes from her fingers, the raspberry was an actual luck. You did have fun with her, she seemed kind for a ghost living upon a castle. If she was nice, then the other spirits whose items you've collected could also be nice. But she didn't know, as it has been unknown about where the others are. She last talked to Heejin, but after that no one cares to see her.

I owe you all an explanation.

The last couple months have been a rollercoaster. One of the biggest rollercoasters I’ve ever been on. And during the last couple months, A LOT has happened and I thought I should explain it to you all. I promise I’m not making any excuses, I just want to keep you all informed.

At the beginning of the summer, my work schedule began to get pretty crazy. I was at work every day super early and I was stressed all the time (honestly I’m always stressed so ya know). At the beginning of July, I began talking to who you all know as ‘Cute Boy’ from my tags.

We went on a few dates and things were going really well I thought. After he got back from a 2 week vacation at the end of July, we slept together for the first time. And pretty much every time I saw him after that until the end of the relationship this happened. I’d never had a boyfriend before, so I was a little scared to speak up and he never said anything either.

Work got busy again and then I went on a two week vacation. The problem with ‘Cute Boy’ was that he was very bad at communicating and this caused me A LOT of anxiety. I have very bad trust issues with guys and lots of anxiety about it because pretty much every time before him, I was either ghosted or it ended badly.

The first week of my vacation he barely talked to me. I thought he was ghosting me and he hated me. He only talked to me to keep our streak. I had extreme anxiety over this and cried, while I was on vacation. I wasn’t a good friend to the friend I was visiting and this is one of my biggest regrets. Over a boy.

When I got back everything seemed to be fine. Or at least what I thought was fine. I was ignoring almost every red flag. I thought he was embracing my anxiety, but he wasn’t. He knew I had anxiety when he didn’t talk to me or when he did it was very little. He would always say he’d work on it, and he didn’t. It made me feel like I was being too clingy. But in reality, he never communicated anything.

He never did anything I wanted to, he didn’t like going out and doing anything, and he didn’t like hanging out at my house because I live at home. He would have rather been alone and played video games it felt like most of the time (I promise I’m not nagging on video games, just him). We never went out and it just felt like he was benefiting from the relationship way more than I was. I would have to BEG him to tell me things.

We didn’t even put a label on it until the end of september. And throughout this whole time I had anxiety almost every day, and most of it linked back to him in some way. Not all of it, but a good portion of it. My depression got worse and I would have such bad panic attacks my heart rate would spike for hours and I couldn’t move.

A couple days after he met my brother (a very important person to me) he broke up with me. Out of nowhere. There were no warning signs and to me, there was never anything wrong. He started spewing out reasons as to why we wouldn’t work and how “our personalities wouldnt do well together in the long run” when just 2 weeks before he had said he saw us being together for a very long time. Just 2 days before he said “thank you for being mine”.

He said I would blow up his phone and all these other things. He turned all of his problems back on me and made it seem like it was my fault. But if he had just communicated like a normal human, what he said were problems wouldn’t have been problems. After he left I was so BROKEN. I violently sobbed in my moms lap for an hour on the kitchen floor. I couldn’t stand up. Finally my parents got me up and my best friend came over. I was still crying. I cried for hours that night and eventually cried myself to sleep. And I continued to cry for days. He had taken a piece of me.

A few days later we talked and agreed to start over as friends. We said we had a lot to work on and wanted to work to get back together. Because I thought he was “worth it”. Spoiler alert: HE WASNT. A week and a half later we got into a fight and ended things for good. I cried again. And throughout all of this my anxiety never stopped.

I’m working on myself now, and I have someone else. I realized how selfish and awful my ex had been, and i was ignoring all the red flags because he said I was cute and called me princess. I was stupid but I moved on. I’m still not the best, but getting there.

This took over a huge chunk of my life and it caused me so much anxiety I forgot about a lot of other things. This blog was one or those things. And for that I just want to say:

I am so sorry. I am so genuinely sorry.

You guys have no idea how sorry I am. So many of you have been here the entire time and I still feel the love and support you give me. I don’t know what I did to deserve it but I love you all so so so much. You have no idea how much I love you!!!!

So starting right now, this blog will be a priority again. THAT IS A PROMISE.

School and work are still things bc I have to adult for some reason (ugh). Those things also stress me out but I am going to write. I am going to write as much as I can. You guys deserve so so so much and I will do my best to make it happen. Starting today, I will start to write again. You guys inspire me and you inspired me to come back (if it felt like I left). But I promise I’m not going anywhere and I’ll always be around ❤️

phantom of the opera thoughts on what i wish it was about lols

or i want them both to think the others a ghost lols but each doesnt know the other can hear them - then they finally do meet each other and it turns out they were both singing the opposite parts of the same song which really spoke to them - so they can sing together.

yeah ok here it is -

the phantom is a real alive man, who wants to be in the opera but cant bc his face is messed up so he wears a mask and is embarassed. or whatever. (so its not saying peoplee would think ppl w disfig’ed faces are ugly ..). so he feels so alone. butt hes an awesome opera writer. so he decided to seclude himself in the catacombs under the opera - because he does love the opera (why ? idk it was there for him growing up until he got hurt? idk - and he be writing them to cope w his lonliness and feeling bummed about his face and isolation.). , so thats the closest place that he can still hear itt but still not be seen. :). so christines actually the coolest nicest most talented one there - obviously - so hear everyone else sound so badly and be much more annoying. and the phantom just wrote  this amazing opera. hes been working on it forever and finally wants it to be performed. soo hes dying cause he be living in the gross catacombs forever or whatever - but he pulls himself together and submits it? to whoever, a publisher or whatever? idk i wanted him to have more possession of the opera somehow.. ? oo like maybe he was an opera writer then so he also helped build this opera house but hes been getting embarassed by his face forever so as he was building the house, he consciously built secret passageways (to the catacombs? Or just a place to live?) beneath it, so he could still hear and likee interact w the opera but not be seen . Cause i thought the secret-places being built intoo the opera and navigated was a really cool and fun idea of the story/last movie. idk. ok this is getting complicated but maybee everyone already knowss hes down there and he used to write operas for them and star in them before his accident! and they know hes hiding and know hes around somewhere and still writes operas ? so they still just accept them from him because its not a big deal. yeah hes kinda a myth, but theres someone in the opera who knew him and his story and is on his side and likes him and watches out if he had any more work or for him to oull himself together and come back.

yeah. so then he finishes and finally gives his masterpiece. and daae has heard of him and his story - and can actually hear him praticing the parts of his opera from her dressing room cause it turns out her room is the closest to where he lives in the catacombs. so it gets stuck in her head and she kind of ends up singing the girl parts of it to herself in her room. and he hears her but she doesnt know he does, and he thinks shed be perfect for the role. i dont think that they think each other can hear them. thats why they dont talk to each other invisibly cause i kinda think thats creepy.

so one day she actually decides to go down to the catacombs because she wants to visit her dead parents’ tombs there - is that believable? would that have been a thing to do at that time lols ...???? or else -/also she just really feels and relates to the music she hears and knows theres a catacomb beneather her, and heard of him living down there and she thinks thats bonkers that he with his genius and stuff is just hiding down there for no reason except hes embarassed. :) #stick some body positivity in there! heh.

So then shes like, the heck with it - orr he wasnt gonna have it performed but she keeps hearing the music so beautiful and knows hes down there - so she decides to go get it so she can help him get it performed! aw. - and so shes like fineu know what, ill just go down there myself !. shes like not scared cause..idk. maybe shes like ah aint nothing to worry about . [for some reason..? believable..? maybe..] 

so she follows his voice down there. and she finds him . and hes like fine cool yeah you sound super great i can hear you from down here, you know what youd be cool for this super awesome opera i made. and shes like yea i heard it from upstairs u want me to sing it to you ? and she starts singing it and hes like singing his part w her and hes like oh man i never thought anyoned hear it or sing it with me! dreams . and shes like come let me sing it on stage w you and get it performed. and hes like ah im too scared to show my face. and shes like wellll just show me up there how to make it performed when no ones there. so they sing it together just there on the stage lols. is this lame and repetative? cause they did it in the catacombs too? idk . so then i guess she gets it to be performed and he gets to watch it secretly and hes so glad - theyre like pretty much in love by now lols bc they be practicing it together all this time, even though hes ugly , he was cool so they fell in love anyway. but then - idk how, but somehow, he dies on their last secret performance alone when theyre in love .  he was dying anyway because u cant be healthy underground. but atleast he died in peacee becauseee he finally saw his genius loving opera get to about to be performed. and he got love which is all he wanted in his life anyway.. and to get to keep being a performer/opera composer one more time! so theNN, it gets performed in real life with another man to be in the cast, and idk somehow maybe she ends up getting to fall in love with that guy taking the phantoms place in the play - and the phantom gets to watch the final play performed , but this timee hes actually a phantom ghost lols!! get it? makes much more sense with the title. and hes still a ghost because he still loves her? and wants to see his place performed for real. but thenn the plays over and he sees how well it finally went and how happyy she actually looks with the new guy - and the song they sing is about rememberingg stuff you love but being able to heal and move on if they lose that thing? i guess. and soo, he is able to stop being a ghost, and you see him floating over the whole audience and his opera house in a whoosh with his iconic mask, and disappearing into thin air, because now hes at peace and so doesnt have to be a phantom or ghost of any kind any more!!!! yay.

not a problematic or gross story at all! but still kind of dark, and mixes genres which is cool that i liked. or whatever.

the only thing im having trouble working out is the believability of/ a reason for christine to want to look for him in the catacombs and not be scareddd to. Like what can possess her to want to find him ? Cause its just practicall to nott go with/look fir a stranger in a secluded creepy underground tunnel! ..but i like dont want her to be kidnapped ..!

..cause the original story i thought it was creepy how he kidnaps her or whatever but i want them to like fall it love but not be weird and problematic lol

3. Do you have a “type?”

Well,  masculine presenting people, anyone more masculine than me. Dark hair and light colored eyes have always been my favorite type of aesthetic. Ever since i was a kid and saw Eric from the little mermaid and went “ thats my type of dude” X’DD Dark hair and light eyes are just gorgeous. But they have to be really kind, and not make fun of me or things I like.  (So, i had a dream last night that a guy was asking me out and i told him sorry im demi, and he said Eww gross nvm. Basically the exact OPPOSITE of that crap X’D)

5. Do you believe in ghosts and supernatural things?

I do to a certain extent. I dont really know that ghosts are just wandering around everywhere unless theres a good reason for them to stay. Like a traumatic reason or otherwise. I believe in demons too, which scare the bageezes outta me. This is why movies about ghosts/demons/etc really scare me but i do love them. I just cant listen to scary whispers, or like, that scene in the first Conjuring movie where that girl was saying something scary was standing right behind the door and staring at her but it was pitch dark so you couldnt see it, and her sister walked up to the door to look, like hell no, my soul about left my body X’D

6. Have you ever experienced anything supernatural?  

Hm nothing that Im fully sure about, probably spooky coincidences, but a few things that were really creepy. Years ago when i was in elementary school I once had a nightmare that there was a ghost/demon in my bathroom that kept trying to coax people to go in to get them, whispering all kinds of crap. It was so long ago i cant remember all the details but my mom woke me up in the middle of the night telling me my cat had a seizure in front of the bathroom door. My cat was fine luckily but it was extremely creepy bc as soon as i told my mom what i had been dreaming her face went white.

There was a few other times at  my dads house but i cant list them all xD

10. What is the worst trouble you’ve gotten into?

Ah when I was seven years old, my dad and I, his gf and son all went camping at the closest mountain to me one summer. Which apparently his gf’s son who was 8, knew like the back of his hand where as I had a bad sense of direction. For anyone who doesnt know, I wear glasses and didnt wear them until the 3rd grade so i didnt have them at 7. I didnt know my eyes werent like anyone else I just assumed everyone had limited vision. So this kid, asked if he could walk ahead to the pool, because we wanted to go swimming and he knew the way. So I walked behind him ( and he wasnt the brightest child, and really extremely annoying and mean) and halfway there a lady stops her car next to us asking if there was a drink machine near by and he said at the pool which was where we were heading, she offered to give us a ride the rest of the way and i immediately was like STRANGER DANGER NO. but Nick being the dumbbutt he was, legit LEAPED into this womans car leaving me on the side of the road. Now, I couldnt see more than a few feet in front of me, everything was just leaves greens, and brown blurrs for as far as i could imagine. We were on a mountain and he was leaving me, and 7 year old me thought “ oh my god hes leaving me to die in the woods what am i gonna do i cant see anything to get to anywhere”, i didnt know the pool was just around the corner, my eyes  made it so everything looked like forest. So in a panic i hopped in and she THANKFULLY took us the rest of the way to the pool then dropped us off and Nick showed her the drink machine. Needless to say, I got in major trouble and my dad forced us to sit outside and eat our lunch surrounded by mosquitoes and said we couldnt come back inside the camper until we had learned our lesson. Questionable parenting at its finest am i right? XD note the sarcasm

16. What is the oldest thing you own?

Hm, probably anything of my Gran Gran’s. I have a 1970s copy of gone with the wind that she loved and wrote notes in, and several other things she had kept through the years like kitty figurines, Avon decanters, ghost stories she typed on her type writer then made into a book. A lot of really neat stuff. Oh! Aside from her stuff, I have a old western book about horses thats signed inside for the 50s I think. I have a lot of old books.

18. What is the one food you could eat for the rest of your life without getting bored?

Hm, this is tricky. My favorite food is crab legs with butter, sweet crab legs not salty, but i love that on occassion otherwise it wouldnt be special. Plus i cant afford it every day. XD Its a once a year type of thing. Hmm, Im gonna say cheese because you can eat it a ton of different ways and it still count as cheese every day for the rest of my life. Im totally fine with that, and theres tons of different types of cheeses.  

20. What is your dream job?  

Art related. I’d love to be a designer and make art for a living, thats what ive always wanted to do ever since I was little. Hopefully one day I can get my bachelors in art, I already have my associates degree so thats a start. An Art teacher would be fun too, but designer/illustrator comes first.

before the outbreak kat was the bougie lil daughter of russian immigrants w/ lotsa money

kat’s dream was to eventually be a doctor. particularly she wanted to be a pediatric surgeon bc she rly loves kids !!!

HOWEVER

SHE NEVER GOT THE CHANCE BC OF ALL THIS APOCALYPSE SHIT

her parents had always been rly self sufficient and for the first few yrs they lived out their lives in their house w/ her parents fighting off zombies and teaching her how to do so

eventually tho, they had to leave. houston had fallen into ruins and her father had heard rumours of safe camps way way up north in alaska

kat didnt want to go. she wanted to make things work in texas, but her parents refused and basically told her she could go with them or hang back and die

they left when kat was ~15 and made it to alaska by the time she was 18. the trek on foot was life changing and she carries a lot of horrible trauma w/ her from that time

a lot of fighting for her life both against people and against zombies. she’s killed more people than she would like to admit or even remember

 they kinda camp hopped in the south, stopping for a few days or a few weeks to recuperate. most people were fairly welcoming but her parents burned a lot of bridges with their constant moving around. the goal was alaska and only alaska, and no matter how well things went in some places they refused to stay

when they reached the boarding school kat felt like it was a god sent after all the years of being on the run

however good things never seemed to last long for her

they were barely at the school for three months before her parents --- who had pledged loyalty --- decided it just wasnt for them

they told kat they planned on leaving and she begged and begged for them to stay. that they could make it work here and that she finally felt safe for the first time in years

they didnt care lmao

it was another case of “come with your family or you’re dead to us”

so she bid her farewells to the few people she knew and made her way off into the cold night with her parents

everything was okay at first. they found an old ransacked camp and turned it into some semblance of a home. kat was okay with it. it wasn’t the worst that could have happened, though her heart longed for everything she left behind at soldotna

about a year and a half after leaving, kat lost her parents to a hoarde making it’s way south

she watched them get torn apart in front of her as she did her best to fight. the last thing her mother said to her was to run away. she regrets the fact that she listened.

the next year was spent barely scraping by. doing her best to find soldotna again and beg to be let in. without her family she was nothing.

there were a few times she contemplated just letting the cold or the hoardes or passing threats take her. however, she knew she had to get back to the school. there were people there she couldn’t let down. promises she had made that she intended to keep.

now sick and basically dead, she made it !! wow !!

hello everyone i realized i wasnt gonna get through today without finding something to keep my brain busy so ive been designing a horror theme park in my head all day here r my ideas so far

- there would be two main theaters, a ghostface theater and a pennywise theater (except. imagine they have creative names, ) 

- ghostface theater is a 3D show theater modeled in the like NOW SHOWING: STAB (FILMED IN STABOVISION) tacky retro horror aesthetic from the second movie 

it would show a park-exclusive Scream 3D short, and also would sometimes be used for upcoming horror sneak previews and other shows, along with indie horror spotlights 

sometimes a ghostface park character would sneak in among the guests and sit next to you (all the main slashers would be around as characters to do autographs and pictures and stuff but i think it would b fun for them to also like. peek out of windows or sneak into shows so you never know where they’re gonna be) 

- ghostface also gets a corresponding gift shop for Scream as well as just all things retro horror, vintage posters, art stuff made from horror vhs tapes like these, stuff like that

- the pennywise theater is a circus tent that houses a stage show, decorated with vintage style PENNYWISE THE DANCING CLOWN posters, old dusty flickery carnival lights, creepy pennywise fortune teller machines, etc 

the stage show features highly elaborate puppetry culminating in a HUGE deadlights pennywise about to consume the audience until the Losers appear at the last second to vanquish him, encouraging the audience to shout him down with them to help defeat him 

- also has a babadook photo spot made to look like the pop up illustrations (and sometimes a babadook character actor visits for pictures) 

- nearby there’d be a midway with carnival games, maybe those balloon squirter clown games with classic pennywise, something for Us maybe a mirror maze or something. a sandwich shop called The Sand Witch

- im neglecting most of the major slashers bc i dont really care about them lmfao maybe freddy kreuger gets a funhouse or something. all i remember about him is the wiggly arms and the blood geyser thing 

- id want to do themed outfits for workers like disney where like everyone in the pennywise area are circus performers and scary clowns, some are vampires some are zombies etc 

- i cant think of what to do with childs play, id absolutely want to have a darkride for something but i cant think what would translate best. it’d be cool to have like an interactive animatronic chucky somewhere, like you can ask him questions and stuff (however that roz animatronic and california adventure works, like how she comments on specific guests on the way by so clearly someone’s controlling it but it still sounds like her) 

- i dont generally care about fnaf at all but i think it’d be great as a real freddy fazbear pizza place with the animatronics performing “normally” (but slightly Wrong. big inspiration from these voice acting clips where they’re just a little glitchy and sometimes its like ‘wait what did he just say’) but at certain times there would be staged “glitches” where the robots suddenly go rogue and like. the lights go out or a curtain falls when its “not supposed to” or something and one of the animatronics DISAPPEARS!! and its like “uhhh NOT TO WORRY, FOLKS, EVERYTHING’S ABSOLUTELY FINE...I...uh...[stage whispering into a walkie talkie] where is he. FIND that bear, NOW-” [freddy’s little song starts and you see his face flickering in a window right behind them]

maybe have actors planted as “guests” who get dragged off 

- then theres the shining’s Overlook Hotel and the Bates Motel and my first thought was to do some kind of walkthrough haunted house attraction in the overlook but maybe those are better suited to just being themed actual hotels connected to the park. definitely want the overlook hedge maze though

- anyway also a graveyard garden ft a garden of poisonous plants and a garden of carnivorous plants complete with an animatronic audrey II and other monster plants but also would have real poisonous/carnivorous plants as well 

- and a little witch apothecary shop in there with like. witchy themed candles, teas, bath stuff, etc. an Oddities Emporium somewhere that has weird morbid collectibles from around the world, bones and preserved jar specimens and stuff. some things would be like real collectors items or intricate reconstructions some would be like, models/soap that looks like an alien head in a jar/etc 

- there would be a Dracula’s Castle attraction designed like a classic haunted house ride ft the universal monsters, and a corresponding vampire themed fine dining restaurant with live music at night (or. un-live) 

- maybe some kind of mad science lab themed bar with drinks in test tubes and beakers and stuff

- jigsaw escape room challenge themed for Saw but obviously not ever putting guests in any real danger, im trying to think of how you could recreate the. like. it’s like an escape room puzzle, but when you figure out the answer there’s that moment of “oh fuck. oh god fucking fuck no” when you realize what you have to do, how could you recreate that in a fictional/for-fun setting where the guests know they aren’t really in danger and you’re not actually putting anyone at risk. like maybe gross but safe challenges. i dont know. maybe some kind of system where if you “die” you’re out of the game and there’s some prize if you “survive” to the end so someone might have to “sacrifice” themself but no one’s actually getting hurt 

it’s like how do you balance “you wanna scare people” with “you want them to understand they are in fact actually safe” 

- a special effects workshop that showcases some behind the scenes makeup and practical effects, makeup artists doing horror face paint/etc for guests

- a ghostbusters themed blaster ride (the ones where you shoot targets n get points) (we have ‘ghost blasters’ at the boardwalk here lmao im not gonna pretend that wasnt where i got this idea. look up ‘sally corp ghost blasters’ if you’re interested in that) 

- i really want to say ‘and a Mrs. Lovett’s Meat Pies restaurant’ but would that be Too gross. like obviously it wouldn’t be a Real Cannibalism Restaurant lmao but would the theming put people off too much 

anyway thats what i got hire me to design your theme park i have no experience and no capability of actually realizing any of this but boy do i have ideas

i dreamt a lot of things last night but one of them was that i was exploring in a shallow stream trying to catch some fish and then suddenly all around me tons of mushrooms began growing at an accelerated rate and they grew and became huge and it looked like they were blooming as they all unfurled and umbrella’d out and curled around trees and stones. it was really cool

another thing i dreamt though was that as i was driving somewhere i saw the ghost of like, a woman wearing a victorian-style dress, but she was headless. there wasnt any blood on her though. she was hovering up the mountainside a bit, by the side of the highway. and once i passed her, after that i kept seeing on the side of the road bloody headless bodies, all of them men, just kind of sprawled out on the shoulder of the road or even in the middle of the lane. and it was getting dark and i was beginning to panic and get scared and so i pulled over bc i couldnt drive while i was shaking, and i cant remember what happened next

i dreamt some other things beside those two main dreams too, but they were small little bits. like, in one i got kicked out of my apartment so i had to move in with some friends from school and my mentor from my internship lived in our basement. and in another bethany and i were hanging out with this random dude in an abandoned house and he was like, part of a preppy gang, The Outsiders style. and in another dream i was walking through a labyrinth of office cubicles, looking around for something i needed to complete a job

something: school fucking sucks and i can bring up a lot of reasons for this. 1: some of the teachers hired are only hired to educate, so personality wise they could be oppressive towards their students. 2: while i do feel like having a core lesson plan is okay, FORCING kids into certain core subjects is bad and they end up not learning because they feel like they HAVE to be their best or else theyll fail, and thats awful. the grading system isnt completely awful, since it shows kids areas that need to be improved, but making it some life changing thing is just...bad...because at that point it goes from “well you need to improve in these areas, so why dont we offer you help so theyll be easier!!” to “GET BETTER AT THIS OR BE FOREVER UNEMPLOYED” and i hate it. i could rant about this.
