- just like every other form of affection when it comes to Daryl, it takes time for kisses to be a regular thing

- of course, he’s wanted to kiss you since before the two of you even got together, but it wasnt appropriate then

- when you eventually revealed your crush on him, Daryl was on cloud nine for hours, until he realised something truly terrible

- the pressure for kissing was officially present

- kisses were expected, a normal coupley thing to do

- Daryl hadnt kissed anyone in so long he’d convinced himself that he’d forgotten how. what the HELL was his tongue supposed to do?! bruh. in the apocalypse there’s even less advice available to him wtf this is unfair

- he wasnt gonna stoop low enough to pretend to makeout with his own hand, but let’s just say he got dangerously close out of fear

- he really wanted to impress you, to sweep you off your feet with an absolutely flawless kiss, to make your mind go blank as you smiled at him in wonder

- you deserved to be loved like that, and Daryl would be damned if he missed the opportunity to give it to you

- with everyday that passed, the tension between you grew

- you knew Daryl very well, of course, so you understood his hesitance towards affection, and you were more than happy to wait for him

- he felt stupid about you having to wait for him, but he was so grateful that you did

- finally, the time came

- the two of you were out on a run, and while scouting out the street, it suddenly started pouring down with rain

- you ran for cover inside a clothing store, your clothes were soaked through but neither of you seemed to care, you were laughing at nothing at all and then you looked up at him

- Daryl had expected himself to reflexively pull away, maybe even literally run from the situation, so when he found himself leaning in via what can only be described as autopilot steered by his triumphant adoration for you, he was pretty shocked to say the least

- you were somewhat surprised too, but by something else

- Daryl comes across as very tough, harsh, rough in a way. he can handle himself, he’s a fighter, and a strong one. but you always knew there was a softness to him that he’d never admit to

- from that first kiss, you were proven right

- he was so, so gentle with you. his lips barely touching yours at first, until you leaned up to meet him, and even then his large hands held your face and your hips so carefully

- the stubble around Daryl’s lips was definitely expected, but you didnt expect it to feel so...hot

- he pulled away first, resting his forehead against yours with his eyes still closed, a small smile on his face as he chuckled airily

- then he pulled back a little further to place a kiss on your forehead

- you reached up to cup his face in your hands, and then you kissed his nose

- Daryl blushed, avoiding your eyes and hanging his head bashfully, making you giggle and open your arms to him

- he fell into them, feeling his entire body relax, his mind at ease

- he’d done it, he’d gotten past it. he couldnt help feeling a little proud of himself, and you were immensely proud of him too. the vulnerability he’d just shown you, and was still showing you, meant the world

- sure, sex was still going to be an issue in the future, but that was a bridge to cross much later

- after that, kissing felt much more natural to Daryl, and he definitely took advantage of that

- he was so happy, so relieved to be so comfortable with you, he didnt even mind kissing in public

- by no means was he gonna makeout with you in front of an audience

- but, Daryl would absolutely hold your hand and bring it to his lips to kiss it, or wrap an arm around your shoulders to pull you closer and place a kiss on your temple, or kiss your forehead before he left on a run

- it warmed your heart to no end, and your reactions to his kisses never failed to boost Daryl’s self-confidence

- the most beautiful person he’d ever known? swooning? for him? holy fuck

- to describe his kisses is to describe the most emotional intensity you can possibly imagine, being conveyed in a way that emphasises how precious you are to him

- but, he can definitely get a lil rougher when it is required of him 👀

I’ll do a separate post about Charles Eyler and aromanticism because that is always on my mind but I’m having fresh thoughts about femininity and his character around that but it’ll be kinda long so elaboration under the cut >:)

(Note: I’ll still be using he/him since those are his canonical pronouns and he also is canonically genderfluid so this isn’t really a transfemme headcanon, more he wants to present more femme/possibly some level of dysphoria)

I get the impression Charles wants to present more femme but due to a lot of circumstances he’s not able to—

For one he presents his online self femininely with the username “Charlotte” and using a pfp of her. Many people sort of “test out” gender expression online with different names or pronouns before ever coming out irl, so I think Charles reflects this experience. In addition, he projects his insecurities of not living up to his online persona onto Vincent, assuming he is disappointed coming face to face with someone who didn’t match themselves online saying

“Its you who should be disappointed in me, mr C”

“Charlotte turned out to be Charles, whoops”

“Bet you wanted to see the girl of your dreams”

When Vincent himself says “names and bodies dont matter”

But then again, irl he wouldn’t feel comfortable with completely free gender expression because of all the Mother and Scarlett stuff— “youre a good girl” isnt so gender affirming when its in the context of your mother convinced youre her aborted daughter who’s way more successful than you are and is kinda messing up your whole mental state.

Ok now this is somewhat of a stretch but evidence nonetheless—

Charlotte. All the Charlottes. Trust me on this one. So Charlotte is Charles’ OC/self insert/persona type deal. Perfect protagonist and all that fun stuff. Projection of an ideal Charles. Scarlett. Also Charles. Ideal Charles projected in a fucked up way. So. Here’s where I’m going with this. Charles=Scarlett who=Charlotte more specifically ep1/2 Charlotte who can be considered transfemme coded mostly due to the scene she and Frei look over memories in the mirror room, specifically the one titled “Femininity”

And I’ll just paraphrase it but young Charlotte was unconfident in her femininity feeling unsuited for feminine things until Aiden encourages her to embrace it anyways and feel comfortable in it—

Charles=Scarlett=Charlotte=transfemme ITS A CONNECTION OK.

If Charles writes the story of the perfect protagonist in which the protag is an idealized self and she is living the same experience of not being able go express femininity YEAH CHARLES IS GONNA GIVE HER THE HAPPY CONCLUSION HE DIDNT ok there’s some plot holes in that ep2 is not exactly derivative of Charles’ writing buy leg me have this

There wasnt a convenient spot to slip these in but also some ep3 false realm stuff leans into gender non conformity with 1. Evidence Charles will sometimes pick a femme student vessel over Vincent and 2. Q84 rejecting traditional femininity which is opposite of this whole post but Q84 is that “what I never could be” for Charles WHICH IS A WHOLE OTHER RAMBLE ON ITS OWN so it makes sense the script is flipped here

Okay well,, if you're interested..... Uh..... me and my fiance @mrballpit have an au where the admins have kids - well, like... Petra is Romeo's daughter, Aiden is Xara's, and Lukas is Fred's... that's the basic plot and we're currently thinking on rewriting it from the base idea we had!

Essentially, Lukas was made first because Fred wanted to watch life grow. He wanted to be a father! Romeo, however, made Petra purely to copy Fred. Petra was raised as a weapon, someone who would never betray Romeo and would be the perfect person to help in the end. In retaliation, Xara made Aiden - but Aiden was kept a complete secret from Romeo, and even Fred. Until he was 10! Romeo NEVER got to know who he really was, but we're gonna work on that

Romeo was Lukas' monster under the bed until he had to watch in real time him.. errmmm.. murder his dad brutally? Yeah, that!

Aiden's got such an intense complex it needs it's own dedicated post.

And Petra, in that fight between the admins, accidentally ropes her friends in cuz she wants to help? And .. uh.. Romeo throws Aiden off the watch tower where Fred died cuz he has no idea who the kid is, and Xara goes after him, effectively forcing her to chose her son over her best friend.

When xara is put away in the institute, Aiden thinks she's dead, and Xara thinks AIDEN is dead because she told him to just run.

Petra, though.. poor girl was forced to fight Lukas - who did actually swing at her because like YOU DIDNT TELL HIM YOUR DAD WAS ROMEO !!! THAT WAS KEPT A SECRET THIS WHOLE TIME CUZ SHE WASNT PROUD! Did I also mention that Petra was sent to spy on Lukas, but found Aiden instead, and kept Aiden a secret from her dad?

That.. forces Petra to side with her dad. She pushes Lukas off the roof after slipping a water bucket into his hands. Her dad's like woohoo! You did it, you killed him!! Come now I can give you that gift I promised you since you were like 4 my pretty little princess!

BOOM. ADMIN POWERS. Petra hates it. They bedrock and the new world starts, petra is basically the reason all the new update stuff happens. They create the old builders together (Soren being one, hes a small part in this). Then Petra makes Jack to impress her dad cuz her dad is just like . Have fun! Bye! She ends up getting attached to Jack, and made him with the intent of him being a champion. That matters.

Then her dad's like surprise. Gauntlet. I'm going to kill his friends! Jack retires. Petra is horrified, as Jack was her last hope.

So, in retaliation, she creates Jesse. A hero. He'll take her dad down once and for all. Heavily implied Jesstra, also.

being able to work for harry was a thing you never saw coming. you did like harry. but being his assistant forced you to keep things professional with him. which greatly annoyed you. you werent exactly sure how you got the job, you were just attending a meeting held by harry with your lawyer when he claimed you as his assistant. but why complain when your pay increased.

you and harry threw flirty comments, shared jokes. and maybe shared more than just jokes. but that was old news. having a hold of harrys schedule infuriated you as being his personal assistant meant you had to meddle with his private life outside work. it hurt you knowing that harry started going on dates and looking at his schedule served a great reminder that he was out of your league.

" harry, you have a date at 8.30 tonight with a charlotte. the location where the date is held is at Le Grenouille " looking up from your tablet, locking eyes with harry who seemed to be deep in thought.

" uhh, harry? " waving your hand infront of him was able to get him out of his little day dream. a confused face of his only confirmed that he wasnt paying attention. repeating his schedule once again, the information finally sinked in.

" right, thank you. uhm, are you able to pick out some suit for me? " the ceo of oscorp wanting to make an impression " he caught on to your cheeky tone that you thought was able to mask your jealousy. but to your luck, you werent that very great with facial expressions. you however tried to busy yourself and walked harry out of his office, leading him to the elevator.

" why? is my assistant jealous? " he really hit a nerve when he emphasized the word assistant. noticing how your gaze on the glass door falter, he laughed.

" well why would i be when im able to find other important things to care about. but sure, ill be able to help you pick out a suit. " harry didnt seem to like your answer very much. what are the other important business were you talking about? looking at you work on your tablet peacefully calmed his soul somehow. he enjoyed seeing you focused, giving him the excuse to stare knowing you are too focused to notice.

" youre staring again " you whispered out, when you looked up at the glass door when it opened. noticing the way harrys cheek flush confused you.

the way back to his penthouse was silent. helping harry pick out his suit was harder than you thought. tonight was different as he wasnt satisfied with any of the suits you helped him pick out. being exhausted, you rasped out, " sir, harry. you are going to be late for your date. its eight ten and you have not found a suit. you do know that the drive to the restaurant is long? " looking into his closet again, you saw another suit. hand out to grab the suit, you felt a hand ever so softly touch your waist.

" eh, how bout you just cancel it or something. " turning to face him, you place the said suit against his chest. ignoring his words, you turned him around for him to look at himself in the mirror. raising your eyebrow, you waited for his answer. " so? " you expected him to finally agree on the suit but what he did next was very much unexpected.

harry pushed your hand down, which dropped the perfectly ironed suit. he didn't seem to care about it though. walking towards you, he took your face in his hands, looking at you with love and care.

" you look tired. maybe stressed? how about i help you feel better? because as your boss, its my turn to return you the favour " caressing your cheeks with much adoration, eyes darkening with every second that passed.

One ugly face i hoped to not see again till the day of their funeral, showed in front of my doorstep this morning. I DONT KNOW HOW, but FUUUUUUU

They gonna keep showing up now, threat me again with bullshit and demand some money that barely last ME a month, since they know where i am.

I need to accumulate about $500 to move again, the other rents here are more expensive than the one i currently live in

So people please commission me. I know i know i still got a list and is slow with it but i cant stand the idea of them coming back to harass me again, as if the slander they tell about me to my old neighborhood wasnt enough, all while playing victim. URGHHHHhhhh.

i'm also under the impression that 2F would be clingy (to a degree/extent) w/ reader solely bcuz he wasnt aware of their marriage. he missed out on so much in a short time period i want to imagine him just,,, copying what Harv loves doing w/ you in a way that's very amatuerish; yet you can see he's trying.

tbh bestie i'm not sure how two-face wouldn't know about the reader. even if reader and harvey were childhood friends, it's implied that two-face has been around since harvey's childhood, too. and they're pretty much co-conscious all the time, with few things that are kept between each other (two-face keeps harvey's childhood from him in some sources, most notably). but this IS super cute so let's say he didn't know!

i imagine his first impression of the reader isn't the most favorable, actually. this is probably just because the reader is someone harvey likes, and two-face is just contrary like that. but once he warms up to them, my guess is that he tries to try his hand at a real relationship. so yeah, i think he'd try to do what harvey does (to an extent), just like you said!

two-face wouldn't even ask permission to be involved with you, most likely. he just busts in and harvey's gotta be like "well, i guess this is yet another thing we're gonna share". and i imagine that two-face is clingy in his own way, if only because he's experienced even more harm and trauma than harvey and doesn't have many good things to cling to at all. once he finds one, good luck getting him to give it up, basically. this extends to people, too.

he probably insists on a second ring at the very least.

he would have his head on your lap with your fingertips massaging his scalp as he was in deep slumber. you were sitting there, watching a zombie show so you were deeply engrossed in the film. you werent much of a person that fears zombies or monsters from movies or shows since yk theyre fake. really, these zombie moves and shows make you feel sad. *cough* train to busan. so of course, you didnt notice bo’s shifting in your lap. you were really impressed with the actors and actresses abilities to work their bodies like that. BONK! bokuto’s head had came in contact with your chin. luckily, you sat with your mouth closed, so he didnt injure you much. except, he did burst your ear drums. he had a nightmare 💀 boy was screaming bc he was being chased by an animal with rabies and zombies. yet, he screamed even louder when he saw the zombies on screen. you didnt even care about your chin rn. “bo.. calm down! its just a movie! calm down.. what happened?” it was only now bokuto felt a little pain on his head. and only now did he look at you and see a little red mark. “oh gosh.. did i do that?” he looked at you and at the tv, then you again. “wait.. did I do that??” you shrugged it off. “yes. but its fine, what happened?” he then continued to explain his nightmare to you, and apologizing for harming your beautiful chin 😔.

tries to act cool after screaming his lungs out. he just had a dream of his dog turning into a human and bullying him for all the times that he has been embarrassed and ranted to the dog. the dream included the dog being a female and gossiping with oikawa about the kardashians and telling oikawa how much he talked and that he could be a talk show host if he had a cuter attitude 😑 the pet’s name is probably something like “zumi” or “sparkle” 💀. so the dog would then talk to oikawa in his dream about how annoying oikawa is, and that it would try to steal you away and be your protector for life. thags when oikawa would wake up in a thick sweat. “babe.. my dog is going to steal you from me”

Alright, time for the post that no one asked for! Which ship had more development between Bmblby and Blacksun!

Gonna preface a few things first: I dont particularly ship either ship, so I'm going to do this with as little bias as possible.

This is only over the first 3 volumes, so anything after the fall of Beacon isnt taken into consideration right now.

And the rules are as follows:

First, winking will not be considered. Since people keep saying a wink isnt inherently confirming of a relationship, I'll ignore any winks and judge the scenes based on the content.

Second, scenes will be judged by whether or not you could replace any character and still get the same effect. (the more you can replace, the better in my opinion)

And lastly, since I keep seeing this coming up as well, the only evidence I will consider for absolute confirmation is of any sort of kiss in the first 3 volumes. Although, its going to feel a bit rushed and out of nowhere since the first 3 volumes takes place over 4-6 months at best.

Without further ado... everything will be under the cut.

Starting with Vol 1, after re-watching, there really wasn't any build up to either ship. Which, doesnt surprise me considering that Sun doesnt show up until the end of Vol 1 and the entirety of that volume is centered around introducing the characters, the world in which they live, and just general ideas on what it's like being a huntsman academy. But there are still a few scenes to note in vol 1:

Initiation: Its a quick blur, but you can see Blake rush across the screen once we see Yang walking through the forest. At that point, its safe to assume that Blake had already made her choice on who she wanted, which is further implemented with Blake helping Yang out with an Ursa.

Its safe to assume that between talking with Ruby the night before and seeing hearing how what she thought of Yang didn't quite match her thoughts.

Our next scene comes to Sun and his infamous "slow-mo wink introduction." As per the rules, I'm ignoring the wink and going straight off the content of the scene itself. Which, doesnt leave much. We know he pinpoints Blake as a faunus very quickly and he has some sort of infatuation with her, but the scene alone doesnt give us much.

However, that one does lead into the end of the Vol: Blake runs off from her friends and takes her bow off to finally show us her ears. At which point, Sun comments that he knew she'd look better without it. So that already shows that 1) Sun definitely pinpointed Blake being a faunus early on, and 2) he wanted to talk to her and this provided the right opportunity. Or... so he thought. Especially since the next scene opens up with him half complaining that they've spent 2 days together and all she's done is make small talk.

Which is all pretty on par for Blake. She then spends the next bit talking about her past, how she was pretty much born into the White Fang, stayed with it after it went from peaceful protests to more anger filled, until leaving Adam just a few months ago. After all of this, Sun asks if she's told her friends, to which we can assume she answers no to, you know, since she ran. Overall, it ends up leading Sun into going a bit gung-ho about helping Blake with the White fang.

Overall, Vol 1 did well to start putting together dynamics between Blake and her friends. Sun and Yang both make different impressions on Blake, both of which she ends up seeing as friends... for now.

Vol 2, is a bit of a strange one. Our first introduction to Beacon is Sun basically telling Neptune how cool team RWBY is, emphasizing a bit on Blake. Which does end up bringing us to the meat of the first half of vol 2: Blake worrying over the White Fang. Now, because of this, we dont see any build up between Blake and Sun or Blake and Yang while they go around town to figure out what the White Fang and Torchwick are up to. Sun makes a good point that Blake shouldnt go to the rally alone, and the two pair off while Yang goes to the club with Neptune.

Once the dance arc comes along, that's where things take an interesting turn. Sun immediately asks a sleep deprived Blake to the dance, in probably the most awkward way since he's trying to say the dance is lame, but would be less lame if the two of them went together.

Sun definitely cares about Blake and actively tried to help her calm down a bit. Which, ultimately, she never says no, just that she doesnt have time for a dance. So, I give this one a +1 in points for build up.

Then, we get to the burning the candle speech. Which, a lot of people seem to write off as either pointless or not build up. Personally, it gets a +1 in points on build up for me on this. First, Yang is absolutely worried about her partner, seeing her go down the same path she did when she was much younger. She immediately starts by telling Blake that she doesnt want her to stop, just to slow down and take a breather. And she ultimately makes a strong point: slowing down isnt a luxury, its a necessity.

This also end s up being the first time we see Yang open up and drop the party girl demeanor that she's had. She talks about her mother, someone that she doesnt talk to many people about, and just how much it hurt her to find out that Raven left shortly after she was born.

After an emotionally charged discussion, we finally see the point that Yang had been trying to get Blake to see:

And it finally does work. Blake slows down, takes a rest, and ultimately enjoys herself at the dance. Which, in her own words, she technically goes with Sun.

Overall, the dance arc in general gives great build up to both ships. Which ultimately is the end for the Black Sun build up.

Bmblby doesnt get much more build up in vol 2, the only other notable scene being the campfire where Yang, Blake, and Weiss start opening up a bit more to each other to figure out why each of them are becoming huntresses. Which absolutely gives a bit more foundation to the friendships they have.

Vol 3 ends up having most of the build up between Blake and Yang. The first major scene being after Yang was disqualified for breaking Mercury's leg. When Yang finally asked her team if they trust her, Blake is the only one who doesnt immediately say yes, instead, saying she wants to. Leading us to this face from Yang:

But Yang ends up being distressed by her own partner saying that she wants to trust, but doesnt yet. Blake ultimately ends up opening up about Adam, telling us how she used to trust him... until accidents started piling up. Eventually, she looks at Yang and asks her to look her in the eye and tell her she didnt do anything wrong. When Yang does, Blake allows herself to trust Yang.

Which then brings us to the biggest piece of buildup between the two: Adam. When Adam shows up, he starts using words like "my darling", hammering in that at one point, the two had something going on. He decides immediately he wants to hurt Blake just like she hurt him by leaving. But what really hammers in Blake's feelings for Yang, is the fear she had on her face when she heard Yang's voice not so far away... and right where Adam can hear her. It doesnt take long for Adam to look down at Blake, notice the fear, and then look in the direction of Yang, ultimately stating that he'll destroy everything Blake loves, starting with her.

Now, I know a lot of people will dismiss that as "it could've been anyone. If Sun had shown up, it would've been the same." And honestly, yes, it would've. This moment here is what solidifies who Blake ultimately cares about. Had it been Sun to come around, no doubt she'd show the same fear. But it wasnt him. Instead, it was Yang, who immediately found Weiss and asked where Blake had gone. And we further see her feelings for Yang cemented by the way she blames herself that Yang got hurt. The way she stays close, gently reaches for Yang's hand, the emotion of the entire scene after they get to safety.

Sun does ultimately care about Blake, and helps out where he can, but at least in vol 3, he had his own priorities of making sure everyone could make it to safety.

TL;DR: Both ships had a bit of build up in vol 2 and 3, although, the build up that Bmblby had outweighs the buildup that Blacksun has. Blake definitely had feelings for both, but ultimately, it took until Adam was a threat for her to realize the feelings that she had for Yang, and even then, she still wasnt entirely sure what they were until later in the series. At this point, the only reason anyone can say that Bmblby has little build up is due to either a higher bar for f/f ships (because, lets face it, everyone takes the wink from vol 1 as absolute confirmation for blacksun because its m/f) or they continue to deny that sometimes, there are multiple ways to show buildup between two people for a relationship and the slowburn route usually takes an emotional route over a physical route. And look, Blake has two hands. Take that as you will.

and you're absolutely right - it's REALLY interesting to be placed in this perspective where the listener character is unreliable, where we're not sure how many of our actions and decisions are fueled by this obsession code, where we can't be certain of what we know and what information (like the hidden 'project meridian' data packet) we have inside us. it makes for incredibly compelling storytelling and conceptually i think it's FASCINATING 🤩🤩

and YES we love a bit of moral ambiguity!! inconsistent and flawed morality!! characters who are in conflict with each other and themselves, who are not universally good or even liked!! project meridian to me has always been a series that pushes everything to a logical extreme, if that makes sense - a robot in love who is overwhelmingly obsessed, a sad man who is debilitatingly lonely, a mysterious corporation that is unflinchingly greedy. everything is over the top and spilling over itself, but it's approached in a very realistic and empathetic way, and that makes it far more accessible and less predictable, which i enjoy v much! 🥰✨

tbh i feel similarly about james as i do about vega, especially in his latest audio - it's very clear that we are being manipulated, but it's really interesting to observe from an out-of-universe perspective. it leads to a fun conflict of interest as well: do we want the listener character to turn to the dark side and take them at their word, or resist? what would either of those scenarios look like going forward? how is this going to be resolved? OOH it's so much fun 🤠🤠🤠

heres something i thought would be interesting. all the digital character sets ive made for igi (there are a few random stray refs here and there on my blog i decided not to include bc they werent made for specific "sets" like shown here). the ones from 2016 were made before the blog and are on my old deviantart, minus the hoenn ones which never made it to the internet at all. the 2017 ones were made for the blog but i deleted all of them except for n a while back bc i hate them lol. also i said i would have liked to have gotten back to gen 7 last year but that obviously didnt happen. oh well.

2016: wasnt when the au started but when i decided to take on drawing-every-character-as-a-furry. the art style is... dated, but its got nice bright colors and i feel its charming enough aside from the questionable design choices. tho i still think some of them hold up fine (falkner, will, brawly) which i think ive already talked about before

2017: that awkward transitional phase i feel like. we do not talk about them❤

2018: i literally did all these on a whim. they were never planned to be lined or colored bc at this point i kinda started to question whether i wanted to continue the "everyone as furries challenge". some people are missing (the protags, hala, kahili, etc) bc again i did it on a whim and wasnt rly keen on being a completionist at that period in time.

2019: after finishing two sets of the same characters (the second was once again pretty much on a whim) i felt like embracing the gimmick for the blogs sake and once again being in the mindset of drawing em all. gives me something to work towards.

2020: i actually did gen 8 before gen 5, but placed them this way so the gen 5 ones would be next to the ones from 2019 and gen 8 would be next to gen 8 from 2021. the quantity-over-quality of these really comes to light here. they were rushed and the colors are washed out. i dont think i even posted the extra colress ones bc i forgot i made them hdjdsh

2021: i think i spent the most time on this set than i did for any of the others, focusing on fixing the mistakes of the previous year, colored line art, bigger canvas, better anatomy. you could argue most of them were unnecessary (alt outfit stuff) but i did it bc it was fun and also i wanted to impress you guys with big posts👉👈 so yeah. all the refs from now on are gonna have this kind of effort put into them.

1. What fandoms did you create for?

Latin Hetalia and... Latin Hetalia. and only brarg for that matter. I have one obsession at a time and i am loyal to it

2. How many works did you make this year? Fics (posted on ao3 or tumblr or wherever), edits, gifsets, moodboards, playlists, fanart, vids, meta?

19 fics, 21 sfw pieces and.... 59 nsfw pieces. seems impressive but i think i actually drew very little art these year. But it was a very horny art year clearly.

What are you most proud of?

I've mentioned it before here but in the beginning of last year I posted what i think are objectively my three best fics, Passarinho, Anjo Caído and Twist of Fate. It has all been downhill from there unfortunately.

Any stats you wanna tell us about?

Well oxiosa already said that I now have the crown of most brarg fics in the Explicit tag, though I am sad to say I failed at my true goal which was to dominate half the tag, and only hold 40% of it as of now. But i think i'm gonna take a break from smut for a while so i might never reach the 50%

What inspired you this year? Any specific works or creators?

Writing wise i mostly wrote smut so...... hornyness lol Also i watch shows that give me cool vibes i want to recreate, but it's hard to think specifics, it really depends on the fics. I wish i knew better where to find my inspiration so i could go look for some of it now

What’s a piece you didn’t expect to make? Why?

Coreografia because it was a gift for ber's birthday but i found out that it would be her birthday literally THE DAY BEFORE and had to speedrun a fic i didnt even had an idea for. Also Sore Loser because i wasnt expecting us to lose rip

What are you excited to work on next year?

I am BLOCKED currently, because personal reasons i cant write smut anymore, i have no patience or motivation for plot stuff so WHO KNOWS. Besides 2022 hopefully the online classes will be over and i'll have actual classes so i wont have too much time to write or draw so... 2022 is set to be a very unproductive year for me.

“I need some fresh air.” Pansy said standing up . You and your friends had been sitting in the common room for hours you had tried to study but Blaise and Theo were messing around making it very hard to focus.

“It’s late were not supposed to be out of our common rooms.” Daphne said

“Are you forgetting that Draco and I are prefects, we basically have free range.” You said standing up finally closing your potions book and grabbing your robe.

The six of you headed outside and laid in the grass by the great lake laughing as you stared at the sky.

“Can I tell you a secret y/n?”Blaise said whispering to you.

“sure.” you said

“Draco hasnt stopped staring at you all night.” He stated, you whipped around to face Blaise

”You’re such a liar Blaise.” You said trying to hide the fact that you were blushing

“Am I really? Plus I’ve seen the way you look at him too.” You sat up

“You’re losing your mind. And I’m done with the conversation.” You said standing up as you made your way down closer to the lake.

“If you get any closer you might fall in.” Draco said as he stood next to you. Gosh he looked so goregous, the way the moonlight shined on his face. Not that you would ever tell him that.

“Lets go for a swim.” You blurted out Draco looked at you like you were insane.

“You’re not serious, its freezing!”

“It’ll be fun!” You said as you waved your friends down

Before they could even reach the lake you stripped down and jumped in off the rocks.

While Dracos stood there watching you the rest of your friends followed and jumped in yelling as the cold water hit them.

Draco was right it was freezing, probably not the best idea to go on a swim in september. But you all ignored it too busy enjoying yourselves.

“Are you gonna come in? we’re thinking of swimming to the more shallow water and playing chicken and I need a partner.” You asked Draco

“As much as I’d love that, I like not freezing even more.” He said

“Help me out then, come give me a hand.” He looked at you and laughed

“As if im falling for that.”

“I’m not that childish.” You said as he sighed in defeat stretching out his arm for you.

“I swear if you pull me in-“

Once you got the chance you pulled his arm making him fall in. Once he rose he was red, how he managed that even though the water was freezing was beyond you.

“You’ll what Draco.” You said getting close to him. Your faces were so close mere inches a part. He grunted moving away from you and out of the water.

“You’re already wet why get out.”

“Because I dont fancy the idea of getting hypothermia unlike the lot of you.” He said motioning to his friends who were still splashing each other.

“STUDENTS WHAT ARE YOU DOING.” You saw a very angry McGonogal making her way towards you. Draco quickly pulled out his wand doing a charm that dried his robes.

The others stopped splashing

“Get out now.” She said still absolutely fuming.

The 5 of you climbed up onto the rock with help of McGonogall and Draco and stood awkwardly in your undergarments.

“Get dressed immediately.” She said pointing to all your robes sprawled in the grass. Draco tried not to laugh as you scrambled to get dressed.

“All of you come with me, I’m sure Professor Snape would love to hear what you were doing at the lake at this time of night.”

She walked extremely fast especially considering her age and you almost slipped trying to catch up with her. She mumbled all sorts of statements no doubt about you, all the way down to Snape’s office.

“Severus, I caught your students swimming in the lake!” She said , Snape always looked upset but now he looked as if he might just off all of you.

“Leave them to me Minerva, I’ll handle it.” He said as Ms.McGonagall left.

“Well is anyone going to explain what you were doing out swimming so late.” He asked

“We needed some fresh air.” You said after no one said anything . The moment you said it you knew how dumb it sounded.

“Of course.” Snape didnt look impressed what so ever

“Go to your beds. You all have detention for the next month. Dont let me catch you out of your beds at night again.”

“Of course professor.” You all mumbled as you made your way out of his office.

“Sorry I got us detention.” You said as you all walked to the common room

“Its no big deal, plus it’s not your fault we jumped in cause we wanted to.” Daphne said

“Its okay Y/N. I know you did it on purpose to get me to spend more time with you. Its understable Im devishly handsome, I seem to have that affect on many girls.” Draco said teasingly and wrapped an arm around you. You couldnt help the blush that grew on your face. Both Pansy and Blaise wiggled your eyes at you suggestively.

“As if.” You said as you got away from him and held the door open to the common rooms for your friends, they all went in but Draco waited.

“How you hurt me love.” He said getting closer to you, god you wanted to kiss him so bad. Not that you would, Draco was your friend and it was better to just leave it that way . You smiled ar Draco and went up to your room leaving him at the door.

“You should’ve kissed her. It’s obvious you like her.” Theo said as they walked up to their dorm

hello <3 since i got these asks at the same time i decided to combine my thoughts on them in this post. yet another annoying sjw essay from yours truly on this blog 

before i get into these i think i need to preface why im like. i guess overly hyperfocused on a certain unproblematic base (same age au / platonic canon) for them and avoid the ped0philic content like the plague lol

tw for pedophilia ment, rape ment if that makes you squicky. ALSO THIS IS LONG AND RAMBLY

as i’ve mentioned a couple times already, ive been into the ship since i was 12, back when it was very very common to not only post untagged (nsfw) canonverse content of the two in writing and in drawing but also non con and the like, so you can imagine how bad my first impression online was. thinking back on it ...as a child i found it disturbing but didnt really register how problematic it really was?? (i know, but i also lived in the middle of nowhere and had no one explain this to me) 

skip to 2014 aka me coming back to naruto at 17ish and i had kinda become hyper aware of the fact that there was an increasing amount of people online who had come forward with explaining how fictional problematic content, mostly pedophilia, had been used to groom them into starting relationships with adullts. it was also a time where a lot of people didnt believe these victims, not registering how common it was for minors to be online friends with adults who had no boundaries and no qualms exposing them such content. not gonna get into my personal life here but i was lucky to not having gone through this myself. like... it kinda was my first time truly realising how fiction can EASILY be used to manipulate others irl (and yes i will not argue this, if you dont think fictional media can form and manipulate people’s opinions on attitudes, countries, cultures and virtues, pick up a book about the effects of propaganda media at least once please) 

i, being young, still liking the dynamic but not really the romance, would point this out here and there in the fandom and get into fights with grown adults in their mid 20s who assumed i automatically hated the ship(s) and tried to restrict their freedom of speech or whatever, heard everything from the “age of consent doesnt exist in naruto” to the “sasori looks like a child what does it matter” despite people clearly playing on him being older and experienced. it made me so upset that people were just consuming all this content uncritically and exposing children to it tbh?? not really just sos but a lot of minor/adult ships in naruto in general. and thats where i sat down and thought, i do not want to be a grown adult talking down to children that point out how unsafe the fandom is. theyre absolutely right in drawing these boundaries and calling out adults who defend the uncritical consumption and creation of this content. i do not want to consume or create content that predators could use to groom minors, and i absolutely do want to let younger people in fandom know that i am respecting their comfort zones and want them to have a safe and fun experience. after all, naruto is not an adult show and i think a lot of people forget that!!!! i am not perfect in that regard but its something that i, at the age of 23, am very passionate about and strive towards to.

and i guess thats where same age au was born for me and i have been sticking to it ever since. 

so finally we can move to the first question 

aside from the fact that we both dont like canon sos, i dont think it would work out even if i wasnt prejudiced to it anyways. in all honesty, 35 year old canon sasori is not a redeemable character to me, given the fact that he’s easily amongst the cruelest villains in naruto (torturing and killing and taxiderming people for his own fun personal gain, never for a goal that served anyone but himself. how do you redeem having over 300 corpses in your backpack that you felt absolutely no remorse for killing). sasori was legit one of the only cruel villains that didnt had someone else pull the strings, which sends a clear message on kishi’s part, who absolutely loves to redeem villains LOL.

being that old, he obviously had already been very manifested in what he believed in, even if it was shakey, to the point where the first crack in that world view (sakura and chiyo protecting each other) immediately had him give up on his life all together. that, in my opinion, is not a man who’s going to know what healthy relationships would look like, regardless of it being romantic or not. 35 year old sasori to me has the same appeal as an expired can of tuna and he’s probably very happy 6 feet under. he’s supposed to be a failed gaara in that sense that he had no one to look out for him and therefore was never going to experience anything but a bad ending in life. its fine that hes dead honestly, it wraps up his short character development the best IMO.

adding to that, seriously, sakura was obviously interested in knowing why he was that way, and called him out for being seriously fucked in the head, but it’s weird to me that people assume she had any interest in actively rehabilitating him, let alone starting a serious romantic relationship with him. sakura who’s not only very, uhm, immature and straight forward when it comes to her romantic viewpoints also, as a big bootlicker, wouldnt soil her standing in the village by starting anything with a disgraced and far too gone criminal like sasori. shipping that version of sasori with sakura intimately is still going to set her up for a huge power imbalance that would be difficult to handle imo, even if she was the one in the fight ultimately exerting her power over him. i would still look at it and think damn she deserves better than having to play therapist for man like that lol.

additionally, even if you ignored all of this, you cant really ignore that sasori had already known her as a child, and that had been his first and most impactful impression of her. i dont think that sasori would look at 35 year old sakura and see her as a grown woman and not the little green girl she was in the fight. plus, you easily fall into predatory comparison territory between the “childish” and “womanly” and i have seen way too often in fic just being boiled down to her now being fuckable. a lot of of ships do this and i would just like to remind yall thats it not normal for adults to want to start relationships with children they have seen grown up or known as a child when they themselves were fully grown adults. therefore, maybe if sakura hadnt met sasori before it would be less of a problem? but that also obviously defeats the point of the dynamic and the reason he died in the first place. so yeah, it sounds kind of doomed especially if you were to make it romantic. 

WHICH BRINGS ME TO THE SECOND QUESTION

let me preface this that im not fundamentally against age gaps, even if im not super interested in it. after all, colorblind had a 5 yr age gap (with sakura being 21), even if, say, i wrote similar fics today i probably would make it smaller lol. i think it can be handled well if both parties have enough life experience to deal with it, and the author is cautious of where the age gap starts, i think a 10+ year age gap would be fine in a scenario where the younger party (i guess sakura) was at least 25-27ish, meaning she has completed most of her most formative life stages and probably had been in relationships before, meaning she would be able to handle it without having to fear a huge power imbalance. the older the younger party is the less the age gap is going to matter tbh .TsukiHoshino and AngelOfDeath10 both handle age gaps in their fics really well imo, so i do not mind reading about them.

unfortunately, a lot of people in this fandom think making sakura barely "”””legal””””” (18, not even 20 which is hilarious to me because the source material is obviously japanese) because they both cannot stand her being past her “prime years” of being young fertile and fuckable to much older men as well as thinking a 20 year old is automatically old enough to handle that type of relationship. ive seen a lot of unironic takes that believe it will absolve them of callout posts if they throw around age of consent and “shes 18 now suckers!!!” enough lmfao. absolutely hilarious. aging a minor up without aging the adult down seriously reeks of predatory “cant wait until youre 18″ narratives and thats why i find it similarly disturbing as straight up pedo shipping.

ultimately, sasosaku is and will always be a inherently problematic ship in canon, which is why i think it should always be handled a little more responsibly in fandom spaces, ignoring or outright excusing the main problem factor, which is sasori, isnt going to convince anyone that the dynamic in itself is well written and interesting enough to explore in aus, like giving sasori the redemption most of us wanted him to have by aging him down to a point in time where he was still realistically going to allow being positively influenced, similar to gaara. 

so really, what i think is well handled age gap and how most people handle age gap in the naruto fandom are two different worlds at times lol 

tl;dr

canon shippers have never been anything but gross when i was younger and i didnt wanna be like that, even if youre “smart”enough to differenate, actual creeps dont really care and might use your content to blur the lines, sasori isnt rly redeemable so romantic canonverse realistically wouldnt make much sense and is still iffy, age gaps are fine if they are handled well, but given that the dynamic doesnt really need the age gap to still work im not that invested on making that an essential part of my shipping experience.

Hiro was walking behind Chiaki and Imposter, the two walking towards the administrative building where Hajime had gone, when he suddenly stops moving. His head shoots over to the spirit, as does Chihiro and Leon. "...What?!" Hiro says in disbelief.

Hiro was breathing heavily, and was on the verge of a panic attack. People were being attacked now? Like, he knew that if he didnt stop Junko lots of people would die, but someone was actually...being hurt.

Was it because of him?

"Hiro, calm down." Leon's voice cuts through the panicking man's thoughts. His best friend places a ghostly hand as close to his shoulder as he can. "Relax. You got this still, alright?"

"We can save Gundham and stop Junko, you j-just need to take a breath." Chihiro chimes in with a comforting smile.

Hiro looks between the ghostly apparitions of two of his closest friends and nods. The anxiety and guilt in his gut doesnt go away, but it lessens enough for him to take a breath and look to a now extremely worried Chiaki and Imposter.

"The spirits also said we needed to find a...Peko Pekoyama?" He says to them, scratching the back of his head. "They say she's a-"

"Swordswoman. The Ultimate Swordswoman." Imposter interrupts the fortune teller, having regained his own composure. "Its not a bad idea. She is extremely skilled in fighting."

Chiaki places a finger to her chin. "Maybe we could ask Akane and Nekomaru for help? They're extremely powerful fighters, too. If they were in a fighting game, they'd be a top tier choice!"

Everyone gives her a puzzled look for a moment before Leon's ghost speaks up. "We could also ask Sakura, and possibly Mondo! They'd be very strong in a-"

"No." Hiro cut Leon off with a shake of his head, and his allies give him a surprised look.

"No?" Chiaki repeats with a tilted head. "Why not?"

The underclassman frowns and rubs the back of his head. "'Cause, like....there's already a lot of people involved in this mess." He mutters. "The more we tell about Junko's plan, the more'll get hurt. Plus the more likely that a mass panic will break out."

"But if the authorities were to know, they could apprehend Junko and stop her easily." Imposter points out.

"If it was that easy dont you think the spirits wouldve suggested that?" Yasuhiro counters. "Clearly she has more power than even the police. Which is the whole reason I dont even see how I can do this!" He glances over at his ghostly friends and sighs. "But I have to at least try so...if the spirits think Peko is the best option, we'll go with her. But I dont want to drag anyone else into this, ok? Please?"

Everyone was quiet for a while, until Leon snorts. "I'm impressed. Usually you would have run away crying by now. Guess you're taking this seriously."

Hiro rolls his eyes. "I dont really have a choice. I'm still terrified and I feel like giving up with each development. But I dont want to lose any of my friends."

Imposter smiles softly at that and bows his head. "I respect your dedication, Hiro. Very well. We wont tell anyone else of your visions."

Chiaki nods in agreement. "We probably wont even have to tell Peko." She muses quietly. "Just mentioning one of our friends being in danger should be enough."

Hiro nods. "Alright. Since you two know her best, why dont you both go get her?"

Imposter raises a brow. "And what are you going to do?"

"You could sneak over to the administrative building and see how things are going." Chihiro suggests.

Hiro grimaces at the idea but sighs. "I'm gonna...go to the administrative building and scope things out....stealthily."

"Do you think you can manage that?" Chiaki asks.

Hiro hesitantly nods, and after a shared look between the two upperclassmen, they say their goodbyes and hurry to find Peko.

Yasuhiro bites his lip and lets out a large breath, turning towards his destination. "Alright...let's go."

When Hiro arrives at the scene, he is horrified by what he ses.

Gundham is all but leaning against the wall of the building, gripping his right arm with his left as blood drips from it. His shirt is sliced open in several places, blood splattered onto it. There's a large gash on the left side of his face, just below his eye, that flows even more blood down his cheek, and his usually styled hair has come undone, falling into his eyes as his chest rises and falls heavily.

The breeder glares daggers at his opponent as he attempts to catch his breath. "Y-you...vile fiend!" He curses at her, placing a palm on the wall to steady himself as he tries to walk forward despite his shaky legs. "You will never take down GUNDHAM TANAKA!"

"I'll admit. I'm impressed." Mukuro says, ignoring Gundham's words as she stalks closer. Hiro notices there's not a scratch on her, and that terrifies him even further. "Most people would be long dead from the wounds I've given you. You're much stronger than I anticipated." The teasing smile that had been on her face quickly falls to a frown as she pulls out a throwing knife. "But this game ends now. You will no longer get in Junko's way."

Hiro's eyes widen in fear. No...no, this cant happen! He was supposed to save their lives, not end them faster! Could he intervene? But what could he do? He'd just get himself killed!

As he wracks his brain for how to save Gundham, he notices Imposter and Chiaki running his way, and behind them, a girl with a sword on her back.

Peko Pekoyama.

Hope rises in his chest for a moment, before its replaced with despair. Leon and Chihiro understand as well.

"...they wont make it in time." Chihiro whispers, the three of them slowly turning to watch the horrific scene unfold before them.

Mukuro grips the throwing knife in her hand, readying herself to throw it. Gundham meanwhile takes a deep breath and closes his eyes, seemingly accepting his death. Smirking at this, Mukuro throws the knife and-

"Squea-!"

A hamster's squeak is cut short.

Gundham slowly opens his eyes in confusion as to why he had felt no pain. They widen in horror at what he sees instead. Maga-Z, one of his beloved Dark Devas, had been impaled by the knife in his stead, apparently having stowed away in his scarf.

"No....no!" Gundham cries out in agony as he picks up the tiny corpse of his pet, tears forming in his eyes.

"Well, that was unintentional." Mukuro shrugs, pulling out another knife. "But at least you get to taste the sweet nectar of despair before you d-"

THUD!

Mukuro suddenly falls to the ground, Peko standing behind where she had stood with a wooden sword above her head.

Hiro lets out a breath so big he almost passes out. "Oh thank Father Time!" He exclaims, rushing over to join the others.

"We got here as fast as we could." Peko says, sheathing her sword and glaring at Mukuro.

"I dont think it was quick enough." Chiaki replies softly, looking over to where Gundham was knelt down, cradling his falled subordinate.

There is a solemn silence as everyone gives Gundham his time to grieve.

Eventually he stands, still holding Maga-Z in his hands. "I thank you mortals for your assistance." He says, his voice quiet and broken. "I know you did what you could. Maga-Z gave his life to protect me, and for that he shall be remembered." He looks down to the hamster, then to Hiro. "I am aware we are in a hurry, but do you mind if I bury him? You can go ahead. I will find you."

Hiro gives him a sad smile. "Of course. And if you see Sonia, bring her along."

"Though, maybe see Mikan first?" Chiaki suggests. "You're very hurt."

Gundham simply nods before heading off.

The others watch him go for a moment before Peko breaks the silence.

"I will bring this one back to my dorm where she will cause no harm. At least until we figure out what to do with her."

"Yeah, that sounds like a plan." Hiro agrees. "Just be careful, alright?"

Peko smiles at him and nods. "I will, do not worry." And with those final words she picks up Mukuri and walks off as well.

Theres another silence, no one knowing what to say, until it's broken again. This time by Hiro.

"So...where exactly would Hajime be kept?"

A/N: So uh...I'm sorry? 😅 Dont worry I hate myself for this lol. But now you know shit's getting real! So in the next post is really when my lack of DR 3 knowledge will shine lol.

Also in case it wasnt clear, I dont want too many characters to know about Junko's plan, cause then the tension is kinda gone.

1) ice skating dates! i like Shouto not knowing how to skate so Izuku shows him and the reverse as well! 2) As pro heroes they leave dumb hints on the internet about their relationship! like really dumb though. Shouto just has a social media account that's called Pro_Hero_Deku's_Husband and just posts candid pictures of Izuku. everyone thinks the user is a crazy stalker, but its just Shouto. 3) in highschool Shouto would be taller for kisses, but then when they get older Izuku is the taller one

Izuku and Shouto have had many dates at Dagobah Beach. I like to think that if one of them proposed in a proper way it would be there. If they didn't get engaged there, it would be either in the middle of a battle when they think their going to die, or when Izuku is in the hospital (Izuku proposes only in this situation) after a life threatening battle
