marvel can’t let groups experiment with even C-list characters because they might want them to show up for 20 seconds as an easter egg in a movie they made solely to set up an ensemble team-up movie seven years into the future. and any indie stuff is gonna get swept under it because they’re going to pump a million dollars into advertising for the damn movie anyway until we’re completely sick because there will never be less than two different major superhero movies being advertised at any given point. and you have to watch the past ten movies they made to get what’s essentially their two-part season finale.

#genuinely #like i get the possible difficulty of special effects/cgi having to be a bigger deal #i was looking up some movies that i though of initially as having smaller budgets but EEAO and Chronicle both had budgets of like 15 million #so idk if thats just todays equivalent #cuz i looked up smaller budget movies in general and little miss sunshine had a budget of 8 million #blair witch project diiiid have a budget of 60k but it was like #found footage #so #chronicle was also sort of found footage style but also had hella effects #i remember the lightning looking sick as hell #i took a break in the tags here to make a full comment #and when theyre not advertising the movies themselves theyre promoting discussion about potential movies fucking ten years down the line #i love daredevil so much im addicted but seeing that phase four graphic made me want to delete everything #its practically protecting my brain to watch like maybe one hero movie every other year #i wasnt being unfeminist by only watching the daredevil episodes of she hulk its called anticapitalist praxis #cuz im not getting a goddamn disney plus subscription #marvel #varcahs speaks
