eden is okay with the idea of being hurt by the one she loves.
this is a mentality that eden has which goes in line with how i used to mention that eden is the type to be content with being killed by the one she loves or asking the one she loves to end her should she no longer be able to control the stellaron or no longer is herself. this is, however, not a healthy mentality to have. i am aware of that. but when it comes to the concept of pain and hurt, eden is used to being injured. she's used to both physical and emotional pain, and when she had entrusted her heart to someone, that means she had placed her trust in that person as well as her entirety.
her lover could wrap their hand around her neck and try to choke the life out of her and she wouldn't flinch. eden had long gotten used to the feeling of being upon the border of life and death, she's used to the feeling of treading so close to the edge that she could almost tip over, or the feeling of being bruised and battered to the point that normal human would've blacked out. she had been in impossible battles where she shouldn't have survived, her body is littered with numerous scars — and one thing that remained as her core was that she wouldn't mind being hurt by her beloved.
it's not even something along the line of ' i trust you enough to not hurt me. ' ( even though she does trust them, of course ) but it's more on the line of ' even if you hurt me to the point that i cannot heal, it's okay if it's you. ' mentality, which is destructive to a fault. this stems from the fact that eden still does not view herself as HUMAN. she is a vessel, a weapon. nothing anyone could do to change that or how she views herself. it isn't self-depreciative, either, at least not to her. she just views it as a fact.
that's why she doesn't know how to respond when her lover treats her so gently. because she could take much more. she could take the hurt, the ache, the pain. she had suffered worse. and if it's from the hands of the one she loves, why would she ever resist ?

Can I request oscar x reader who suffers from migraines please 🥹
content warnings: mentions of migraines and puke.
note: this has taken forever for me to write and i’m SO sorry. pls forgive i hope you like it ❤️❤️
Tumblr media
your whole body retched as you leaned above the toilet, gagging with nothing left to give.
it was a desperate motion, each retch feeling like it was tearing you apart, an empty, gut-wrenching heave that left your whole body shaking.
your head throbbed with a blinding, relentless pain that pulsed behind your eyes, sending waves of nausea crashing through you. it was like your stomach was desperately trying to rid itself of the migraine’s grip, but there was nothing left, just the raw, hollow sound of dry heaving echoing the agony in your skull.
you didn’t mean to be loud. you always try to be quiet so oscar doesn’t wake up. but as soon as the pain became so overwhelming, all your resolve went out the window, and you could barely find it in yourself to feel bad that you woke your boyfriend at 6am on his off day.
you could call yourself selfish, and when you got better, you would definitely feel that way, but right in that moment, you felt extremely grateful that he had been woken up. because the way he looked at you, with so much tenderness, made a small smile appear on your face.
he cooed at the way you were sitting, so helpless and vulnerable, and within seconds, he was at your side, pushing your hair back from your face and placing a feather soft kiss on your forehead.
“migraine?” he asked, his warm hand finding place on your shaking back.
you could only find it in yourself to nod in reply, and he frowned deeper in concern.
“oh, baby.” he gently whispered, leaning down to press a kiss to the top of your head. “let’s get you back to bed then.”
you nodded weakly, trying to stand up, but oscar quickly stopped you. “no, love, let me carry you.”
before you even had a chance to reply, he had scooped you up in his arms, holding your weak body as close to his chest as possible.
when you reached the bedroom, he gently placed you on the bed, pulling the covers up to your chin.
“i’ll be right back, baby, just gotta grab some things to help you feel better.” he whispered gently. “i love you.”
and with that, he, as quietly as possible, exited the bedroom, more than ready to help you.
and in that moment, you felt incredibly lucky. incredibly lucky to have the most amazing boyfriend in the entire world.

new beginnings barca fem x teen reader
(i say barca but its kinda mostly alexia)
new home is always hard to get used to
HOMESICK AT ITS FINEST
also I can't write for my life so if this went in many directions than just one I'm sorry (heh one direction)
Moving houses was one thing, but moving across the world? That was something else entirely.
All my belongings were packed away, my house back home was empty, and every familiar wall and cozy corner was now just a memory. The thought of leaving my old life behind felt thrilling at first, but now? Now it just felt like a hollow ache.
Barcelona was beautiful, yes, but it didn’t feel like home. The narrow streets, the fast-paced Catalan, the city’s loud vibrancy—it was all so different. I’d dreamt of this chance with Barça for as long as I could remember, but I hadn’t expected the anxiety that seemed to follow me everywhere. I missed my family, my friends, even my favorite coffee spot. Here, I was just… drifting.
It had been two weeks since I arrived, but every time I walked into the training facility, that nervous twist in my stomach returned. Today, though, felt worse. I’d woken up feeling off—grumpy, tired, missing everything familiar. The physical exhaustion from the intense training was starting to catch up, and my heart felt heavy with homesickness.
“Bon dia!” Mapi’s voice snapped me out of my thoughts as I walked in. She grinned, giving me a cheerful wave.
“Hola, Mapi,” I mumbled, trying to return her energy, but I could feel my own voice sounding flat, tired.
She raised an eyebrow, looking a bit curious. “Hey, how’s the whole moving thing going?”
I shrugged, trying to keep it casual. “It’s… okay, I guess,” I said, grabbing my training gear. I didn’t want to admit just how lonely I felt.
Mapi opened her mouth to say something else, but then Ingrid walked up, giving Mapi a pointed look. “Maria, for the last time—stop taking my clothes,” she sighed, tugging on the collar of the hoodie Mapi was wearing.
Usually, their back-and-forth would make me laugh, but today, I just couldn’t muster the energy. I forced a small smile and stood, boots in hand. “I’ll be on the pitch,” I mumbled, heading outside before they could ask any more questions.
Out on the field, the other girls were already warming up together, chatting and laughing. I watched them for a moment, feeling a pang of isolation. It wasn’t that they were unfriendly—far from it. But they all seemed to have this easy camaraderie, this natural rhythm, that I couldn’t quite find my way into. I grabbed a ball and went to a quieter spot on the field, juggling and practicing on my own.
As I focused on the ball, the weight of everything I’d left behind came crashing down on me. I missed my mom’s hugs, my dad’s terrible jokes, the random texts from my friends.
Even just hearing English everywhere felt like something I’d taken for granted. Here, every day felt like I was fumbling, trying to catch up.
I didn’t even notice someone approaching until a shadow fell over me. I looked up to see Alexia standing there, her expression soft and curious.
“Mind if I join?” she asked, nodding toward the ball at my feet.
I shrugged, trying to shake off the sadness in my eyes. “Sure.”
We passed the ball back and forth in silence for a bit. Alexia didn’t press, just letting me be. After a while, she spoke up, keeping her voice gentle. “The team’s getting together tonight. At my place. You should come.”
I hesitated, not wanting to seem rude but also not feeling in the mood for a crowd. “I don’t know… I might just head home after training.”
She tilted her head, studying me. “I know it’s not easy, coming here and adjusting to everything. But you don’t have to do it alone, okay? You’ve got us.”
Her words hit something deep, making my chest tighten. It was as if she understood exactly what I was feeling without me having to say it. I managed a small nod, not trusting my voice to stay steady.
“Alright,” she said, a gentle smile breaking through. “No pressure. Just think about it, okay?”
After training, I found myself reluctantly heading to Alexia’s place. The team was already there, scattered around her cozy living room, laughing and sharing stories. I joined a small group with the younger players, including Jana and Claudia. They were swapping stories and cracking jokes, but the exhaustion and emotions from the day were catching up to me. Before long, I could feel my eyelids growing heavy.
As the evening wore on, the laughter echoed in my ears, but it felt distant, as if I was watching from a haze. I felt out of place, despite being surrounded by friends. I watched as Alexia flitted between groups, her laughter bright and infectious, and I found myself drawn to her, like a moth to a flame.
The laughter felt more distant, and the noise began to swirl around me, making it harder to breathe.
I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of everything—the unfamiliar faces, the bustling energy of the room, the tension in my chest—growing heavier. I needed to escape, if only for a moment. Excusing myself from the group, I slipped out of the living room and wandered down the hallway, searching for a quieter space.
I finally spotted a small, dimly lit room at the end of the hall. I stepped inside, closing the door behind me, and leaned against it, feeling the cool wood against my back. I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to steady the whirlwind of emotions inside me.
“Hey, are you alright?”
I opened my eyes to find Alexia standing there, concern etched across her face. Her presence instantly made me feel a bit safer, but the nervousness still clawed at my insides.
“I… I don’t know,” I admitted, my voice barely above a whisper. “It’s just so much. I thought I could handle it, but…”
Alexia stepped closer, her eyes softening as she listened. “Moving here can be overwhelming. It’s a big change, and it’s okay to feel off balance. You’re not alone in this.”
I felt a lump in my throat, her words wrapping around me like a warm blanket. I nodded slowly, the truth of her statement sinking in. It was comforting to know I didn’t have to navigate this by myself.
“I just miss home,” I confessed, feeling vulnerable. “I thought I’d be excited, but instead, it feels like I’m lost.”
Alexia moved to sit beside me on the floor, our backs against the door. “I get it. I moved away from my family, too. At first, it felt like everything I loved was far away. But it gets easier with time, especially when you have people around you who care.”
Her reassurance helped, though I still felt that tightness in my chest. “Sometimes, it feels like everyone else is so close and I’m just… out of place,” I admitted, glancing at her.
“Trust me, everyone feels that way at some point,” she said with a gentle smile. “Even the ones who look like they have it all together. It’s a process, and we’ll figure it out together. And you know what? You belong here. You’re part of this team now, and that means something.”
As her words wrapped around me, I took a deep breath, feeling a little of the weight lift. Being near her felt grounding. I could feel the tension slowly easing, replaced by a sense of safety I hadn’t expected to find.
“Thanks, Alexia,” I said, a shy smile breaking through my uncertainty. “It means a lot.”
“Anytime,” she replied, her eyes twinkling. “And hey, if you need a break from the craziness, you can always come find me, okay?”
We sat in comfortable silence for a moment, letting the chaos of the party fade away outside. I felt a sense of peace wash over me, grateful for this unexpected connection.
“Alright, let’s go back,” Alexia finally said, standing up and offering me her hand. “I promise, it’ll be fun. And if it gets too loud, we can always come back here.”
I took her hand, standing up beside her, feeling a flicker of hope ignite within me. Maybe I could find my place here after all.
“Okay,” I said, my heart feeling a little lighter. “Lead the way.”
As we stepped back into the living room, the laughter and chatter enveloped us again, but this time, I felt a little more ready to face it all—with Alexia by my side.

Jealous Mind
Summary: Pedri gets jealous when he overhears someone saying his best friend likes you.
Warnings: cursing, suggestive content.
A/N: a little angsty and a little something for you 🤍
Tumblr media
"Joder, you're spraying yourself with the whole bottle of perfume." Ferran says, waving his hand in front of his face.
Pedri chuckles, lifting the bottle and spraying Ferran several times. Ferran tries to fight by grabbing Pedri's wrist and taking the bottle.
"Venga, stop that." Pedri says, slapping Ferran's hand away. "Let's get out of here." He says, grabbing his stuff.
Ferran imitates Pedri, grabbing his toiletry bag. He walks happy behind his friend. Ferran was talking about this new fifa record he got.
"I'll pick Y/n, and then I'll drive you home." Pedri says, smiling at his phone. "I'm talking her out tonight."
Ferran smiles. "Someone's in love." Ferran yells, hitting Pedri's arm.
"Stop!" Pedri laughs. "We are going to crash."
The conversation went from Ferran teasing Pedri to how excited Ferran was about playing fifa and getting to beat someone's record.
Pedri was talking about this new project he has with Springfield and that he has an interview on this famous TV show in Spain.
"Hey, please text Y/n that I'm almost there." Pedri says, passing the phone to Ferran.
Ferran, of course, can not be trusted and start sending silly texts to you. Reading out loud as he writes them, making Pedri laugh.
You were waiting outside for him, and when he parked in front of you, Ferran opened the door of the passenger seat and told you to hoop up.
"You guys are dropping me off in a little bit, so it makes sense to switch now." He says, closing the passenger door and entering the car again.
"Hola, Pepi." You say, giving your boyfriend a kiss.
"Can I have a kiss too?" Ferran asks, head between the seats. His lips in a scrunched in a duck mode.
Pedri laughs, giving Ferran a hit on the head. "Sientate bien." He says, moving his attention to you, giving you another kiss. "Let's go." He says, hands again on the wheel.
You turn to Ferran, "How are you, Ferran?"
"Very good now that you are here with us, preciosa." He says, placing a hand on your shoulder.
You and Ferran have a very good relationship. He loves making jokes with you, he loves giving you advice and he loves your boyfriend, so it's the perfect friendship.
Ferran and you make conversation, Pedri answer here and there to some things you are asking to Ferran.
"We are here, tiburón" Pedri says, parking in front of Ferran's home. "I'll pick you up to get to training tomorrow."
"Adiós, ferran." You say, smiling at him.
"Adiós, platanito." He high five Pedri. "Adiós, guapa." He says, winking at you.
You waved at him as Pedri started the car. You moved your face from the window to your boyfriend.
"How are you, amor?" You ask him, taking the hand he has on the gear lever. "I missed you."
He intertwine his hand on yours, lifting it up to give it a kiss. "I missed you too. Tomorrow the training is in the evening, and that means we can spend all night together."
You smile at that, happy that you can spend time with him. You were busy with your college studies.
"I asked Fer to make us that dessert you like, and we are going to have a movie marathon."
You hug his arm carefully, happy to spend time with him. "I can't wait, Pepi."
Tumblr media
"C'mon, guys!" Flick yells. "We are done for the day. I'll see you tomorrow."
Ferran pushed Pedri to the side as he walked into the dressing room. He turns his head back to see pedri giving him the middle finger.
The social media girl was taking a video of them for a reel. "Pidele a Ferran que envie besos." Pedri asks. (Ask Ferran to send kisses)
"Calla' hombre or I'll send your girlfriend some kisses." He says, laughing.
Pedri gave him a hit on the head. "Vete a bañar, que estas apestando." He laughs.
Pedri goes straight to the showers, leaving all the dirt and grass away. He jokes around with other players and talks with them about the game that's about to happen tomorrow.
He changes between conversations with Lamine, with Pau, with Hector. He loves those kids and loves spending time with them.
"Are you ready?" Pedri asks Ferran.
"Give me two minutes." Ferran says, still changing.
"Meet me in my car." He says, grabbing his things and walking to his car.
When he's there. He pulls the window down a little bit. Going on his phone while he waits. He hears the voice of Hector and Marc, he thought of scaring them since the car that they were using was next to his.
"No, but Ferran was right. That girl is a fucking show to the eyes." Marc says.
"Fuck, when he showed us her picture I felt I was dreaming." Hector laughs. "What he said was her name?"
"Y/n, or something." Marc says. "Fuck, to be able to follow her."
Pedri lift an eyebrow. What are they talking about?
"Bro code, Marc."
"I mean, ughh," Marc groans. "Have you seen her? She's fucking gorgeous, if I had a hall pass I would spend it on her."
Pedri was confused and offended at the same time. Why were they even talking about his girlfriend like that?
"Metete en la fila, because Ferran already said he would be the first if he has a chance." (Get in line)
"Con ese culo, I would try to skip everybody." (With that ass)
They both laugh, entering the car and going their way. Pedri feels a fury inside, he doesn't know what to do.
The passenger door opens, and a very happy Ferran joins him inside the car. Pedri breathes deeply. He's trying to calm himself.
"You okay, platanito?"
Pedri turns to him. He can't believe Ferran would be capable of talking like that about you. Not him. Not his best friend.
"Qué-" He tries to ask. "Qué te hizo tardar?" He asks, trying to act normal. (What took you so long)
"Oh, nothing." He brushed the question. "Just talking with the kiddos."
"Oh." Pedri says. "What were you talking about?"
He starts the car. Trying to act like nothing happened. He's gripping the wheel strongly.
"Just showing them some pictures I had."
The grip grows. He's trying everything not to flip. Maybe they got confused, maybe it's other girl with the same name.
Was your name that common? Maybe it was just a coincidence, maybe he didn't say those things to the boys.
"Are we picking Y/n again?" Ferran asks after a moment of silence.
"No!" He quickly says. "She's doing some projects and can't really go out."
"Oh no, say hi to her for me."
Pedri was lost the rest of the drive to Ferran's home. He was trying to order his mind. Why would Ferran say something about his girlfriend?
Especially something like that.
"Thank you for being my ride." Ferran says, hugging Pedri. "I'm getting the car tomorrow so I won't bother you."
"You don't bother." Pedri says. "See you tomorrow."
Ferran waves goodbye as he drives away. Pedri wants to go see you, even when he doesn't plan it nor knows if you are home.
He calls you when he gets to a red light. Trying to clear his mind from what he heard. The phone rings twice before you pick up the call.
"Hola, mi amor." You answer.
"Hola." He says, sighing.
"Are you okay?" You are surprised by his monotone voice. "Did something happen?"
He keeps his mouth shut for a few seconds, worrying you that something might be wrong.
"No, I just want to see you." He finally says. "Can I?"
"You don't have to ask." You chuckle. "Want me to drive to your place? I know you have a game tomorrow, and you have to rest."
"Don't worry, I'm close to your place. See you in a little bit."
He tries to understand what happened, but he can't understand or wrap his head around it. Why would Ferran say that?
He drives to your place, passing by a drive thru and getting food for the two of you. He's supposed to go home and to rest for the game, but he can't.
He walks over to the elevator, going up to the floor your apartment is in. He doesn't get why he feels nervous. Why is he the embarrassed one? Why is he the one with the guilt feeling?
"Hola, mi guapo," you say, opening the door and hugging him. "What you got in there?" You ask, separating from the hug.
"Your favorite food and some dessert for us to see a movie." He walks with you inside the apartment.
He closes the door, passing an arm around your waist. He goes straight for a kiss. Seeing you makes him feel happy.
You set up the things while he picks a movie for you to see. He helps you move the food from the kitchen to the coffee table in front of your couch.
He picked a creed movie, one of his favorites. You two make small talk as you eat and watch the movie.
He notices that you are on your phone, smiling at something and texting someone. "Attention much?" He jokes with you.
"Sorry, I'm watching a tik tok ferran send me." You say, chuckling at something.
He frowns, not wanting to think about what he overheard. He moves his arm behind you, grabbing your phone and kissing your lips.
"You look so pretty." He smiles, giving you another peck. "Did I tell you that?"
You smile, caressing his cheeks with your thumbs. "Only like a thousand times." You laugh.
He humms. Smiling and resting his head into your chest. "Love you."
Tumblr media
You hear three knocks on your door. You put the cup on the table and walk to the door. Finding your boyfriend there.
"Hola, camarón sin cola." You say, happy to see him. "Didn't know you were coming, baby."
You move to the side for him to get inside. He walks happy to your living room, stopping when he sees Ferran sitting on your couch.
"Ferran is helping me with a project." You say, walking back to your seat next to Ferran. "He's such a helpful study buddy." You hug Ferran's side.
Pedri feels his eye twitching. "What's the project about?" He asks, seating in front of you two.
"She's writing about Valencia." Ferran says. "And I'm helping her with some information my mom sent me."
You lift the papers, showing pedri that you were writing about it. "I was going to write about Tenerife, but your parents were busy, and I didn't want to seem pushy about it." You pout.
He smiles. "It's okay." He says, getting up and giving you a kiss. "I'm happy that Ferran helped you."
You nod, squishing Ferran cheek. "He's a good friend." You smile at Pedri.
Pedri was on his phone while Ferran was showing and giving you all the information. Pedri couldn't help but notice how Ferran was a little closer than he should.
He didn't make a scene. He didn't want to seem exaggerated. He feels bad for doing that, he can't help but think that maybe he heard wrong.
You two work for another hour or so. Pedri was like an eagle. He doesn't leave out every breath, every movement, and every look Ferran does.
"Bueno." Ferran says, getting up. "It was a nice experience, happy to be helpful." He says, stretching.
"Thank you, Ferran." You say, giving him a hug. "If I get a good grade, I'll invite you to lunch." You say, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "I promise."
Pedri sighs, trying not to act weird about something he never found weird. "Adiós, tiburón." He says, giving him a hand shake.
He waits until Ferran exits your house. He then bugs you from the back, giving you neck a kiss. "I missed you." He says.
You giggle at the feeling of his stubble. "You've been here this whole time, Pedri."
He pouts, resting his head on your shoulder. "But you were busy with Ferran." He says in this annoyed tone.
You turn, facing him. "I'm all yours." You say, grabbing his face and smashing your lips onto his.
You feel his hands moving from your waist to your ass, lifting you but not breaking the kiss. He walks over to your room.
The kiss breaks only when he leaves you on the bed. He admires you, looking at your face. With one finger, he traces your jaw and lips.
"Eres mia." He says, more to himself than to you.
"Soy tuya, Pedri." You place your hand on the back of his neck. Bringing you closer and kissing his lips.
Tumblr media
You finish with yourself makeup, adding some lip oil to your lips. "Pedri, I'm leaving." You say, closing your bedroom door.
He was watching something on your TV. Playing potato. He lifts his head to look at you. "Where are you going?" He pouts. "I thought we were ordering food."
You walk over to him, combing his hair with your fingers. "I can't, Ferran and I are having dinner, and then I'll go with my friends to the club." You smile.
"With Ferran?" He asks, sitting up from his place. "Why are you going out with him?" He asks, mad face.
You don't understand his reaction, "yes, I got an amazing grade in the paperwork." You smile, not understanding the problem. "So I promised him to take him out to eat."
"And you are going out wearing that?"
You take a look at your outfit, you are wearing a jeans mini skirt with a white tank top (the outfit) nothing you would call crazy or out of place.
"I always dress up like these when I go out." You say, obvious tone. "Why does that even matter?"
He stands up. "I'm coming with you." He says, grabbing his jacket.
You shake your head. "No, you are not." Grabbing him by the shoulders and seating him. "I'm going out with Ferran, not an unknown person. And then I'll go out with my friends."
You walk to your wood rack, grabbing your purse and keys. You were about to leave, but you feel Pedri's arm bringing you back to the couch.
"Pedri!" You whine. "What is wrong with you?" You ask, getting mad.
"I just don't think you should go out dressed like that." He says, standing in front of you.
"Joder, pero que no te estoy preguntando, Chaval!" You say, mad about the acting he's putting. (Fuck, I'm not asking you if I can)
"It's cold, you might get sick." He says, trying to excuse the real reason.
"Talk to me!" You say, grabbing his hand.
"Está frío, look at the weather app." He repeats.
You shake your head no, trying to understand his reasonings. You then think of a way of getting out of there since he didn't want to talk.
You nod, pretending to understand him. "Fine, can you bring me my jacket?" You say, smiling. "It's on the closet, left door. Then we can go."
He nods happy, walking over to your room. As soon as you notice that he enters your room. You grab your purse again and walk out the door. Locking it on your way out.
He had a key, so it didn't matter. That was just giving you time to go down to your car. You enter happy, noticing that he tries to calm you, but you send him to voice mail.
You drive to the restaurant, phone ringing with the calls from Pedri. You park and grab your phone, answering his call. "Hola." You say, happy tone.
"Why did you leave me?" He asks, mad. "I told you I was going with you."
"And I told you no." You say, getting out of your car. "See you when I get back, love you." You make a kiss sound and hang up the call.
You walk into the restaurant, telling the girl at the front Ferran's last name. You see him on his phone.
"Can I sit, Mister Torres?" You ask, smiling.
"Hola, guapa." He says, getting up and hugging you. "Sit, sit."
He helps you with the chair. You order a drink and your food because you were a little late.
"How's Aida?" He asks, moving his eyebrows up and down. "I was talking to her before coming here. She told me you guys were having a girls' night."
"We do." You say, playful smile on your face. "She told me that you guys have been talking a lot."
Ferran blushes. "Don't give me that look." He says, covering his face. "I'm shy."
"You didn't sound shy last time we got out and slept at her house." You laugh, remembering what happened.
"I can play that game, too." He says, moving his eyebrows up and down. "Don't forget that time. I had a very bad sleep because someone doesn't know how to control the volume."
It's your turn to blush. "I don't know what you are talking about."
"Sure, sure." He laughs at your blushed state. "Pedri remembers." He smirks, drinking his beer.
You frown. "Talking about Pedri."
"What, a new adventure you want to tell me about?"
You think if you should really tell him about what happened, but you want to know what might be triggering for him.
You tell Ferran about the incident and how he never asked you to change or to cover yourself before. You ask him if maybe he changed his attitude during training.
"He's been kind of away from me, I wanted to ask you about it." He says, thinking about the whole situation. "I thought you knew about it."
You nod, not really knowing anything of what was happening. You shake your head, moving to another topic.
Ferran and you talk about different things. One of them and the largest was about him asking you for advice on him and your friend.
"I really like her." He says, walking with you to your car. "I just hope I don't fuck things up."
"You won't." You smile, grabbing his hands and giving them a squish. "Hey, Pedri is at my place. If you have time maybe come with me so we can talk."
He nods, telling you that he will follow you on his car. You thank him, driving to your place.
On the way there, you called Pedri, who was still mad at you for leaving him there. You tell him that you will be there in a few minutes.
When you got there, Ferran and you were talking about something Aida sent him. You sent her a picture of the two of you from his phone.
Telling her that you will free him as soon as possible. You also apologize to her for not coming to your girls' night.
"Pepi" You call as you enter your home. "Pedri!"
You ask Ferran to wait for you. You walk over to your room, finding him watching a movie, mad expression on his face.
"Amor, don't be mad." You smile a little. Walking over to him and hugging him.
You feel his arms hugging you back, his warm lips kissing your head. "I'm not mad." He says. "Why are you here so early?"
"I wanted to come home to you." You kiss the top of his nose. "And I have someone who wants to see you."
He frowns, "Who?"
You separate, pulling him out of bed and out off the room. "I know I didn't give you a heads up, but we are worried about you." You say, walking to the kitchen.
"Hola, platanito." Ferran greet him.
Pedri sighs, getting mad at him for showing up at your house. "Why is he here?" He asks.
Your turn to him, astonished by his question. "Pedri, Ferran wants to see if you are okay."
"Amigo, I'm sorry if I've been so distant. I don't know what is going on, but I'm here for you." He smiles.
"I'm good, you can leave." Pedri says, turning his back and trying to walk back to your room.
You stop him, grabbing his t-shirt. "Pedro, stop acting like this. Talk to us." You say, stern tone.
Pedri combs his hair, trying to keep his cool and not snap at his friend. He just shakes his head no.
He walks over to the couch. Ferran and you follow him. You sit next to him, he has his head on his hands.
"Pedri, please talk to us." You begg him.
He lifts his head, looking mad at Ferran. "Want to know the problem?" He asks Ferran.
"Joder, que si!" Ferran says.
"Tú eres el problema."
Ferran and you look at each other. Confused look on your faces. "Pedri, what are you talking about?" You ask him.
"Este imbecil." Pedri says, bitter tone. "Le dijo a Hector y Marc que si estabas buenisima, que si tuviera una oportunidad contigo la aprovechaba." He says to you, pointing at Ferran. (This asshole told Hector and Marc that you were so hot and that if he had a chance with you, he would take it)
You turn your face to Ferran, surprised expression. "Ferran, what the fuck!" You say.
Ferran lifts his hands. "I didn't say that."
Pedri scuffs. "I heard them. They even mentioned that you showed them a picture of her and that they want to follow her just to look at her." He shouts, mad.
Ferran thinks of what happened that day. "I never talked about your girlfriend." He says, chuckling. "I was talking about her friend."
Pedri blinks, confused.
"Qué amiga?" He asks (what friend?)
Ferran takes his phone out, opens Instagram, and searches for your friend's Instagram profile. "See, even the mother fucker of Hector gave her a like on the picture I show them." He says.
"Then why did they say her name was Y/n?" Pedri asks, mad low tone.
Ferran laughs. "Because I told them she was Y/n's friend because I didn't want them to find her."
You then turn to him. "Is that why Hector followed me? To look at my following list?" You ask.
"I would never betray you, hermano." Ferra says, getting closer to him. "I promise."
Pedri softens his expression. "No me estas mintiendo, tiburón?" He asks, pouting. (You are not lying to me, right?)
Ferran then hits him on the head. "I would never look at your girlfriend in any sexual way. She's my friend and so are you."
Ferran throws his arms around Pedri, making Pedri lose the pout. "Enough, I'm still mad." Pedri says, getting off the hug but passing his arm around your waits. "I'm sorry, I was dumb. Sorry to you, hermosa. And to you too, Tiburon."
You understood the situation, hugging him. "Next time, please talk to us about any doubt you ever get." You say.
Pedri nods, kissing your cheek.
"Quieres quedarte, Ferran? It's late." You ask him.
He shakes his head. "No, thank you. I want to be able to sleep." He laughs, refering to the talk you two have over dinner.
You grab a pillow from the couch and throw it at him. "Go away, Torres." You say. Turning to see Pedri, who's laughing. "And you, quit it, or you'll sleep on the couch." You smile a little.

Monstober - Day 8: Merfolk [Elemental Sacrifices Part 3/4]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Work's been draining me of my strength, but I will not abandon my beloved challenge! Especially not on my beloved Mermaids ♥
Also, I am dedicating to that one person who loved the Mermay polls so much and didn't care about the yandere because they got to be a mermaid. I still remember you, and I thought about you while writing this!
Prompt: Merfolk | Water // Singing // Alluring Warnings: Yandere, Sexual Content (Dub-Con, Throat-fucking with a tentacle, Swallowing copious amounts of an "essence"), Long Post, Tentacles, Mermaids, Monster + Description
Tumblr media
"Very beautiful. I am very pleased."
Nodding, you forced a smile on your face, looking up at the behemoth of a god before you. Waves crashed against the little platform that served as a stage for the sacrifices to perform on, a couple hundred feet from the mainland. The water seemed angry, lashing out at you, soaking your beautifully beaded gown as it swept over the edge of the stone and tried to wash you off.
But there was nowhere to fall, you were surrounded.
Writhing tentacles sloshed around and wrung out of the depths of the ocean, their movements so unpredictable, it had complicated your performance. Sometimes, they came so close to you that it made your voice shake, the sounds completely clogged in your throat as they brushed against you once, but they were mainly wrapped around the altar in endlessly sprawling amounts.
The only reassurance you got from the growths around you was that your family wouldn't have to see your eventual demise. You knew they were there, at the shore, waiting with the other people of your tribe to witness whether their god would be pleased by the sacrifice they had offered or not. You tried not to think about the tears your mother had willed away, the softest of hugs from your father before he let you board the boat that would take you away from them.
Sacrificing their loved one seemed much too cruel, while this god didn't.
Sure, if his size was any indication, he was frightening. A creature to be revered or be swallowed whole by. The scars littering his body indicated that he was a warrior, and seeing them made you realize there must be creatures beyond your knowledge that could put scars on such a being. He wouldn't go down easily, so your people worshipped him instead.
But on the other hand, he had leaned onto the platform and closed his eyes throughout your song, really taking in your singing like no one had before. His sharp teeth were scary, but his smile reached his eyes, and even though his hands had sharp claws, he didn't rush you to start singing when you were frozen up at first, gently encouraging you to present your song when you were ready.
If you were going by human standards, he didn't seem like a bad person.
The side of his clawed finger pressed against your cheek, smushing it softly, capturing your attention again as your mind had drifted off. That's just how comfortably he felt, yet you were alarmed by your own recklessness. He smiled down at you, but it almost seemed sad.
"I envy you so," the merman said, eyes dulling as he gripped his throat. "One of your people's ships managed to damage my own vocal cords, so I can't sing anymore. I listen to the sounds of the ocean every day, but it doesn't compare to the beautiful songs of your kind."
A knot formed in the pit of your stomach, and you felt terrible as the creature told you about his woes. "I wish to listen to them always," he sighed, staring longingly back at the shore; some people gathered there, gasping and shrieking in horror at the sudden attention they had gained from their god.
"The ones of you humans, and these creatures that fly in the sky, singing all day long as they please. But I cannot follow them, can't leave my waters to seek them out."
"You... you mean birds?" you asked, the conversation feeling a little one-sided with only him speaking. His eyes lit up as you mentioned them and he gave you a quick nod before lowering down again, resting his head on his hands.
"Sometimes they fly over the ocean, and I get to watch them, but they do not compare to you either. Your voice makes my hearts flutter, it tingles over my skin. It reminds me of how beautiful it is to live in this world that cannot return what has been taken from me. It would be a pity to take you, too."
A few beats of your comparably small heart, the god of water simply watched you, smile fading as he thought. His tentacles wrapped over the platform, slowly coming to a halt as they clenched it in their hold.
"Tell me, little bird, do you wish your sacrifice to be eternal? Don't you wish to stay with me instead and sing to your little heart's content? I didn't offer this chance to the ones before you, for I was still so distraught over the pain your kind has caused. I did not want to take them with me, but I do for you. You have changed me, and I'll have you by my side instead of making you a sacrifice if this is what you desire, too."
Your breath hitched as you took in the deal you were being offered. One that would not seal your fate and end in the death of yet another poor soul. All you wanted to do for as long as you could remember was to sing and make people happy, you didn't realize you were tying the noose around your neck tighter with every performance until your sacrifice was announced.
"But..." you mumbled, staring at the gap filled with water between his body and the stone. You had a secret that you had never shared before, and although staying alive sounded so much more favorable, you knew it was just that: too good to be true.
"But I'm only human. I can't live where you live, and my life is shorter than yours, so I won't be able to stay with you forever, even if I were to find a way to be with you. And besides, the ocean... it scares me. I fear it almost as much as death, as it seems to want to swallow me every time I look at it."
His face scrunched up as you explained your plight, unhappiness being written across as you refused his generosity. Still, it quickly turned into a blank look you couldn't read. "It's no problem," the merman explained, the corners of his lips curling back into a grin.
One of his tentacles rose high in the air, and as it lowered itself, you realized it was clutching something between its tip and the rest of the growth. You held up your hands as it came to a halt in front of you, expecting something, and it dropped a surprisingly small vial with a glowing substance into your waiting palms.
"My mother gave me this in case I find something worth keeping. To make it like me and take it for myself. You'll only need to drink this and then some of my essence, and you'll be able to live with me beyond the surface."
"Oh..." you mumbled, still feeling hesitant as you watched the glowing, light blue fluid slosh around inside the glass vial as if it had a life on its own. The god your people had submitted to seemed to be on a level of preparedness you didn't expect. That, frankly, didn't seem like a coincidence. But you found yourself overthinking as you were overcome with fear and dread.
"You don't want to? Do you want to die, my little bird?" the merman asked, staring down at you with the expectant eyes of someone who knew he won. Because whether you choose to be eaten or to become what he wanted from you, both options were in his favor, even if he preferred one over the other. Your eyes fell to the ever-so-angry water spraying everywhere as it collided with the stone. You remembered being caught in it, sinking deeper and deeper, swallowed whole by the darkness and endless wetness, unable to escape the hungry maw of the ocean when you were a child. You had been lucky then, somehow managing to wake up again at the shore, but you couldn't count on your luck to strike again.
"I will protect you from the darkness you fear, I promise. I will cradle you in my body so nothing can get to you."
He laid his palm at your back, supporting you as you wobbled, weak in the knees after remembering your childhood trauma. Before you knew it, you were swept off your feet, either by the dizziness you felt or the hand at your back. Either way, you found yourself sitting in his palm, being lifted off the altar, the slightest sound reaching your ears as the people gasped.
Surely, everyone was thinking you were about to be eaten, causing their trembling voices to cry out, and you felt something break inside of you, thinking about your poor parents. Hastily, you uncorked the vial, not overthinking what exactly you were swallowing as you placed the glass against your lips, the fluids slipping right in. It barely had any taste, but it was almost like you had swallowed some kind of slimy porridge, causing you to gag.
The merman's grin widened as you felt your body heat up just seconds after consuming the sludge, a shudder going through you as the world seemed so much colder all of a sudden. "There, there, what a good human you were," he murmured, patting your head with one of his giant fingers. "Drink this now, my lovely songbird, we can't have you dry out like one of the poor fishies."
Heat threatened to overwhelm you as you clutched your stomach. Everything was cramping while your legs prickled as if thousands of needles were trying to push out of your skin. Breathing was hard, focusing was harder, so when something wet and eager pushed against your lips, you didn't have the strength to resist.
Your throat immediately accepted the salty fluids rushing in, gulping them up as if it was the first drink you had ever received in your whole life. Your hands latched onto the squirmy supplier of the only substance that was able to calm whatever was going on inside your body. It explored your mouth, pressing left and right into your cheeks as if to make space for more of its length and slipping down your throat until it was satisfied.
Tears brimmed your eyes as more and more of the wet was spewed down your throat, hoping it wouldn't accidentally suffocate you. The fluids swelled your stomach, but you couldn't stop drinking more of the antidote. The salty turned into sweet the more your tongue lapped it up, and as it was the last lifeline you had to save you from the side effects of the vial, you were eager for more.
Whatever it was you were drinking, it gave back your senses to you, allowing the shudder that went through the merman to not go unnoticed. Followed right after with a soft sigh, you finally blinked out of the haze, realizing that it was a tentacle you were clutching onto, one latched deeply in your throat.
Panic rose, and your gaze wandered over to the lovestruck face of god feeding you his essence as if stuck in a weird ritual. His hand clasped over his mouth, and you watched as he bit down on his knuckle with his razor-sharp teeth, staring at you as if he had never seen something quite so fantastic. It felt wrong to be an object of devotion when he was the one that should have been worshipped.
"I'm sorry, did I go overboard?" he moaned. "You took that so well, I couldn't stop thinking about how... No, here, let me get it out, my little bird. I can't have your vocal chords be destroyed like mine."
Only as the tentacle slowly pulled from your throat did you realize how deep it had crept, every inch more painful than the other, as if it had wanted to leave your human body caved out. That was the feeling you got as you doubled over, the tentacle popping from your lips, coughs and gags that had to cover a lot of space following.
You couldn't hold all of his essence inside, and to your absolute horror, it was a pitch-black muck that dripped from your lips, smearing all over your body, dripping down your chin, and landing on your legs.
Your legs?
Even though it caused you to cough even more violently, you shrieked at the sight of your gone legs, replaced by blue scales the color of the merman's eyes and a long, heavy tail. When you slapped it out of sheer disbelief, you felt the pain in both your palm and that tail that seemed so out of place. You couldn't associate with it at all! But trying to move around only caused you to fall over in the creature's palm as the tail was too heavy, your body completely unsuited to heave its weight.
"What... What did you do?!" you gasped in horror as you watched scales protrude from your arms as well. You didn't need to see them to feel their presence all over your torso, and your throat hurt even more as you tried to scratch the discomfort there, noticing the large indents on each side of your neck.
"I made you mine," he chuckled blissfully, not at all worried or concerned with your change. "And now I will do as I promised and take you to my cave, where you will live with me and sing me your beautiful songs, little bird."
His body moved, rising even higher out of the water, and although his hand was steady, you were shaken, clinging to the ridges in his palm. "I'm not ready!" you yelled out, a rush of nausea overcoming you as you thought about the wet together with your inability to move well. Surely, you'd drown if he were to put you in the water!
"It'll be fine," he reassured you.
"You are so small, nothing will notice you where we are going. There are much bigger creatures lurking in these depths, but you. You will be safe as long as you stick with me. I can protect you from them, as have I with your little humanfolk. Although it is not your humanfolk anymore, you are seaborn now."
Pinching his fingers around your waist, you were lifted from his palm, your god smiling brightly at you. You tried to wiggle, his hold almost crushing, although he tried to be gentle. Beneath you was the dooming, hungry sea, waiting to swallow you again, and below your waist was a body you couldn't control.
You looked into his eyes, the blue reflecting that of the ocean, relentless, greedy, and full of unbending confidence that he was doing what was right. Maybe being eaten would have been more merciful, you thought, not knowing what awaited you beneath the surface. His body fell back, and you two sank into the water, his voice a solemn declaration against the splashing of water around you.
"Now, you have all eternity to sing your songs and be mine."

you fit into their little family perfectly - naturally → in which you meet satoru gojo
a/n: yall this one was a blast to write.
pairing: nanami kento x f!reader, yuji itadori x f!reader (platonic), satosugu as well!
want to support your local writer? send me a coffee!
I won’t be able to pick up Yuji today from daycare, do you mind heading there alone?
No worries at all, Kento. You know I don’t mind. Is everything okay?
Yes. My boss is being particularly pushy about getting this project done by today. I’m sorry to leave you alone.
I’ll be fine. But please don’t push yourself too hard, love.
Thank you, Y/N. I’ll try not to.
I’ll make your favourite for dinner, okay? Love you.
That would be wonderful, dear. I love you too.
When you’d received the text from Nanami, you hadn’t thought anything of it. This wasn’t the first time he’d asked you to pick up Yuji, and that was way before the two of you ever were in a relationship. It hadn’t been much of a hassle then, given that you lived next door to him but it was even less of a worry now since you’d moved in with Nanami and Yuji into their apartment. Often, the two of you would pick up Yuji together and since you’d started joining Nanami, Yuji had been ecstatic about the whole thing that you made it a goal to go every day.
You’d already been out doing some errands, just about to make your way to the school with the assumption that Nanami would meet you there, when you’d gotten his text. You’d shrugged the whole situation off, mentally thankful you’d gotten all the necessary ingredients for Nanami’s favourite dinner when you’d grabbed groceries with a light frown at the realization of how hard Nanami’s office had been pushing him recently. Luckily it was the end of the week and you could spend the weekend making sure he got the rest he definitely deserved.
Your walk to Yuji’s daycare isn’t long at all and your thoughts are filled with the wonderful and loving family you’ve found yourself. None of it was in your plans for your life but you couldn’t deny how incredibly happy you were. Yuji was an absolute bundle of joy that you loved like your own son, and Nanami was the best boyfriend you could ask for – understanding, loyal, and loving. He checked off any and all boxes that may exist and made you incredibly happy.
You wouldn’t trade any of it.
“Y/N/N!”
You’re pulled from your thoughts at the familiar sound of Yuji’s voice. You blink, not having even realized you’d reached the daycare until a blob of pink comes crashing towards you, slamming right into your legs as Yuji hugs you as best he can with his small arms, peering up at you with bright, shining eyes. You smile at the sight, crouching down to his level as you distantly catch his teacher’s eye and offer a smile when she waves at you, before putting your full attention on Yuji.
“Hi, Yuji-kun,” you giggle, ruffling his hair. You notice his eyes drift past you, and are quick to explain. “Your father is stuck at work for a bit but I was thinking me and you could make his favourite dinner together, how does that sound?”
Yuji beams; “perfect!”
You let out a laugh, nodding your head. “How was your day?”
“Amazing!” Yuji practically cheers, and you blink slightly at the pure excitement in his voice. Suddenly, he’s letting go of your leg to take your hand in his own, his grip quite tight for such a small child as he starts pulling. “I want you to meet my friend, Y/N/N. His name is Megumi!”
You internally laugh at Yuji’s short-attention span. You’d thought he’d be more disappointed about Nanami not being able to show up, but as usual, the boy was effortlessly positive and didn’t seem to let himself get phased by many things.
That, or he was just happy as long as one of you came.
“Okay–just, slow down a little, Yuji, I–”
“MEGUMI!”
Your lips part as Yuji practically bellows the name, eyes drifting ahead of yourself to the direction Yuji’s yanking you towards. You see a small boy, just slightly taller than Yuji, with black, spiky hair (it’s quite amazing actually), in a similar uniform as Yuji but he looks a lot more neat and put-together than Yuji does–even though every morning, you make sure Yuji leaves with his buttons all done and his collar straight, something or another is amiss every time you come to pick him up.
The boy glances back at the call of his name, seemingly unphased by how loud Yuji was, and it’s then you notice the man standing next to him.
He’s tall. Very tall. He’s got startlingly white hair that falls effortlessly around his head, shaping his face perfectly and he’s wearing a pair of black sunglasses but yet as his eyes drift in the direction of you and Yuji, it still feels like he’s staring directly into you.
“Y/N/N! Y/N/N! This is Megumi,” Yuji tugs at your hands and you pull your eyes away from the man, moving to smile down at Megumi. “Megumi, this is Y/N/N. The one I was talking about.”
“It’s lovely to meet you, Megumi,” you offer gently, smiling softly down at the boy.
Meeting your eyes, you’re shocked as Megumi bows, offering a small ‘nice to meet you’. You don’t think you’ve met such a polite young boy, even if he was a little quiet. It’s funny, you think, how Yuji could’ve made such a friend–someone so quiet and calm compared to your loud and boisterous boy. But then again, didn’t they say opposites attract?
“I certainly don’t know where he got that from.”
You glance up as the man with white-hair speaks up, grinning at you as he steps forward, ruffling Megumi’s hair. The boy instantly frowns as he does, batting the man’s hands away as he he grumbles to himself all whilst Yuji giggles, moving to point out Megumi’s frown and the two of them fall into a chatter amongst themselves as the man with white-hair sticks his own out towards you.
“Satoru Gojo,” the man introduces, “and you must be the famous Y/N Yuji keeps telling me about.”
Slowly, you let your hand fall in his, nodding. “Yes, I, um… I’m Kento’s–”
“Wife,” Gojo cuts off, smirking. “Yes, I actually work with your husband.”
Your eyes widen, cheeks burning red; “oh… oh no! We’re just dating, not… we’re not married, Gojo-san.”
“Ah, please, call me Satoru,” he brushes off, “and sorry. I just assumed Nanami would’ve put a ring on you already with the way he talks about you. He’s absolutely smitten.”
Your cheeks stay flushed, glancing at your feet. “Ah, well… you know…” desperate for the conversation to change, you glance back up at him. “Are you Megumi’s father?” You only ask because the two of them don’t really look all that related–of course, that didn’t mean much.
Still, it was a shift in conversation.
“Not biologically, no,” Gojo nods, “but I do take care of him.”
“Barely.” Megumi cuts in, glowering at the man.
You press a hand to your mouth to stifle your laughter–for such a young boy, he was rather quick-witted.
Gojo sticks his tongue out at the boy, and you find yourself unable to stop the giggle that leaves your lips at the sight. They were a rather odd pair, weren’t they?
Gojo glances at you as you giggle and your eyes widen.
“Oh, my apologies, Satoru-san! It’s just–”
“No need to apologize,” he waves you off, stepping towards you. “Now, where is Nanami?”
“Oh, he had to stay at work to finish something up. Speaking of, Yuji and I should be heading home. We’ve got to start making dinner. But it was lovely–”
A huge gasp cuts you off. You blink, glancing down at Yuji who stares up at you with an expression like he’s come up with the best thing in the entire world.
“Y/N/N! Can Megumi and Gojo-san stay for dinner?”
-
After a long and grueling day, Nanami is more than excited to come home to you and his son and have a nice, quiet, relaxing evening.
At least, that was the plan.
Until he sees Gojo Satoru standing in his living room.
“What the hell are you doing here.”
He ignores his rather sharp language in front of the children. Never, ever has he ever wanted to see Gojo standing in his apartment, in his living room and least of all, has he ever wanted Gojo to be anywhere near you–talking with you, making you laugh, offering to help you with dinner–any of it.
Your wide eyes fall on Nanami the second you hear his voice, and Nanami feels a flash of guilt when he sees the panicked look in your eyes.
Gojo just beams. “Nanami! You’re just in time for dinner.”
Yuji comes bounding towards Nanami, hugging his father tightly and Nanami, despite the annoyance standing in front of him, of course returns the hug to his son, as Yuji beams up at him; “I asked Y/N/N if Megumi and Gojo-san could come for dinner and she said yes!”
Nanami’s eyes drift to you then, noticing the way you step towards him nervously. “I hope that’s okay,” you offer quietly and Nanami frowns at the look in your eyes. You look positively worried, and he curses himself silently when he realizes it’s because you think you’ve upset him. “Satoru-san said he was a friend from work and Yuji seemed super excited, so–”
Stepping towards you, Nanami gently pulls himself from Yuji, wrapping his arm around your waist to lean forward and press a kiss against your forehead. “It’s no worries, love. It’s not you I’m annoyed by,” he assures you, smiling down at you before his gaze hardens and he faces Gojo who continues to stand smugly in the living room. “It’s him.”
It’s then you learn that while Gojo may consider them friends, Nanami certainly doesn’t.
At least, not outwardly. You can tell Gojo definitely annoys your boyfriend, but Nanami still tolerates him nonetheless and it’s proven in the way he doesn’t immediately kick Gojo out.
You also notice how Nanami is particularly clingy the entire night – he sticks by you, as if attached to your hip, constantly offering to help, barely allowing Gojo to step within a few feet of you. Gojo notices, of course, and he uses it to his advantage to constantly tease Nanami but you find you hardly care – Nanami was hardly ever possessive and it made you feel giddy that he was so desperate to make sure Gojo didn’t flirt with you all whilst making sure not to be too overbearing on you or do anything you weren’t comfortable with.
It was a feeling that had you tingling all night.
“The dinner was fantastic, Y/N/N.”
Nanami grunts at the nickname Gojo had decidedly started calling you halfway through dinner, a name he’d picked up from Yuji, but you just smile at the man. Gojo is standing by the door to the apartment, a passed out Megumi in his hands. Yuji’s already been tucked into bed by Nanami twenty minutes ago when the two boys had promptly passed out on the couch together. Gojo had moved to excuse himself shortly after, of course with slight pressure from Nanami, who continued to have his arm around your waist, you tucked into his side as the both of you stood across from Gojo, seeing him and Megumi off.
“I’m glad you enjoyed it,” you smile, leaning into Nanami. “I’m sorry we kept Megumi up so late.”
Gojo shrugs, “nah, it’s fine. Suguru might be a bit upset, but…”
Your brows furrow, “whose Suguru?”
Gojo grins. “My husband.”
Your eyes widen and Nanami shakes his head from next to you; “yet you continue to flirt with my girlfriend.”
“Kento,” you mumble, turning to him embarrassed.
Gojo just laughs; “your girlfriend is very beautiful,” he grins over at you, and you glance down at your feet in embarrassment. “Besides, Suguru knows I love him.” Gojo rolls his eyes at Nanami, before turning back to you. “He’s actually out on a trip with the girls for the weekend. Left yesterday.”
Your lips part; “girls?”
“Yes, Megumi’s sister, Tsumiko, and two other girls, Mimiko and Nanako that we adopted.”
You let out a gasp, “oh my! That’s so wonderful,” you beam up at the man. “The six of you must be so happy.”
Gojo laughs; “I wonder about Megumi sometimes… He didn’t wanna go on the trip, said it would be boring but I think it was because he didn’t wanna miss seeing Yuji at daycare. The two of them are like two peas in a pod.”
Truly, you feel like your heart could melt. Turning to Nanami, you beam at him; “we’ll have to have Megumi over more often then.” Then, turning back to Gojo, you add; “and of course Suguru-san and the girls!”
Nanami frowns, but you don’t see it as Gojo grins back at you; “I’ll make sure to let Suguru know.” He assures, “now, I should go. I think I might’ve overstayed my welcome.”
You glance over at Nanami at that, noticing the frown on his lips and let out a light giggle as you nod at Gojo. With one final goodbye, Nanami opens the door for him, before shutting it the second he’s sure he’s gone. You watch as the man’s shoulders instantly sag the second Gojo’s gone and tilt your head.
“Do you really not like Satoru-san that much?”
His eyes widened; “no… no, it’s not that. I’ve known Gojo for a long time. He’s annoying, but he’s a… friend.” Then, stepping towards you, he shakes his head. “I’m sorry, love. I’m just tired.”
His hands fall on your waist, tugging you towards him and you fall into him with ease, letting your head fall on his chest as you hum out softly. “I know. Don’t worry about cleaning up, I’ve got it.” Leaning back slightly, you press a kiss to his jaw. “Just get some rest.”
Nanami shakes his head; “no, you already made dinner for me tonight. I can help clean.”
“But–”
“No buts,” he smirks down at you. “I want to help.”
With a moment more of hesitance, you nod. And the two of you fall into a comfortable silence as you work to tidy up from dinner. With the two of you, it’s cleaned a lot faster and before you know it, the two of you are already tucked into bed, kitchen clean, clothes swapped for more comfortable attire and feeling ready to pass out completely.
Just as Nanami presses a final kiss to your cheek, arm wrapped around your waist with your back pressed to his chest, you can't help but ask; “were you really jealous of a married man? Married to another man, no less?”
There’s a pause. Then, “...maybe.”

Ok so, this is so far outside my usual stuff it’s insane, but this literally won't leave my brain and I don't know if I have time to write it so-
RadioApple fic idea under the cut:
TW: blood, mentions of cannibalism (it's Alastor, duh), semi-unsafe dom/sub (no actual sex), sub drops
Starts out your normal "stop interfering with my relationship with my daughter & you can have a snack whenever you want" kinda deal, with Alastor taking full advantage of the fact that he's got the most powerful being in hell at his mercy. Dude has a serious power trip the first time, & between that and the taste is hooked immediately.
And of course Luci isn't exactly complaining. Other than the occasional jumpscare via shadow, it hasn't been too bad. Kind of enjoyable actually, not that he'd ever admit that to the demon's face. And it's not like he hasn't been tied up or held down before either.
But then during one of their ‘meetings’ he ends up going into sub space on accident… and it keeps happening.
This wouldn't be a problem except Alastor (for obvious reasons) has literally zero information/knowledge about that sort of thing. And, being the dramatic asshole that he is, enjoys getting the last word and leaving without a backwards glance. Which means he's not there when Luci drops.
Hard.
But it's fine! He's fine! He's the King of Hell, he doesn't need some sinner to help him deal with the consequences of an arrangement he proposed in the first place. He's totally fine on his own.
Except he's not.
He is very much not fine, and it starts to show. It gets so bad that one day Charlie actually asks him if he’s ok mid-conversation.
Enter Angel Dust.
Now, by this point Angel’s like 98% sure the two powerhouses are going at it. Alastor has been in a good mood for months now (coinciding suspiciously with the two of them not being at each other’s throats all the time - at least in public) & he’s seen Luci coming out of a room straightening his coat and hat on one of the upper floors. Not to mention the down-right flirty undertones to any barbs they shoot back and forth.
Husk agrees that something is going on but heavily doubts it’s what Angel thinks.
Determined to prove that he’s right, Angel starts wandering the upper floors or heading up just as Alastor heads down (subtly, he’s not an idiot). Anyway, he’s up there one day being nosy when he hears a crash from one of the rooms. He goes in only to find Lucifer on the floor, having tripped over a side table and knocked over a lamp, disheveled and absolutely shaking.
He recognizes what’s happening almost immediately (fuck you very much Val) and gathers the little king up onto the couch, helping him calm down until he doesn’t look like he’s going to either spontaneously start sobbing or throw up on the rug.
Luci is understandably embarrassed and tries to offer him a favor for his help, but Angel waves him off saying he’s been there & that Luci doesn’t owe him anything.
The next day when Lucifer is off doing something else, Angel grabs Alastor and all but drags him into a side room.
“Look, I don’t know what’s going on between you and short king, and frankly it’s none’a my business-”
“No, it isn’t. And if that really is all you wanted to speak with me about-”
“Shut up! I’m not jokin’ alright? I’m bein’ 100% serious. You’re fucking up big time, and I’m pretty sure you don’t even know it. So if you don’t want this whole thing to end in a big fuckin’ mess you need to listen to me.”
Cue a hilariously awkward conversation where an unusually serious Angel explains dom/sub dynamics and the effects/consequences therein to an incredibly-uncomfortable-but-desperately-not-showing-it Alastor.
It ends with something along the lines of
"And look, I don't know if you actually care about the guy or if it’s just about gettin’ your kicks, but honestly? It doesn't matter. You've got your whole gentleman thing right? Openin' doors for the ladies and shit?" *pokes him in the chest* "Well as a gentleman, you've dropped the fuckin' ball. Only self-centered dicks leave their sub to drop alone."
Now if there’s one thing Alastor will not abide, it’s a loss of manners. Being told he’s been unknowingly committing a social faux pas gets under his skin immediately. It itches at him. To the point that his smile almost slips. More than once.
He needs to fix it. As soon as possible.
He’s visibly twitchy the rest of the day.
Husk corners Angel to ask what the hell he said to Al, but only gets a vague, noncommittal answer about letting him know about some information he was missing.
And the next time he and Lucifer have a ‘meeting,’ Alastor stays.

A Wave of Feelings
Rafe Cameron x F!Pogue!Reader
Blurb: Rafe and (Y/N) got into an argument for God knows how many times, about literally anything when they breath the same air, ranging from a small accident to a heated one about their cultural beliefs. But something in the air was different this time. Or was it only in the air? Not something in their heart and mind when the two of you finally realize something big that could change your lives?
Tumblr media
Note: I have always wanted to write an angst especially for this character and it has occurred to me one day that arguing/miscommunication plot is kind of my fave trope so here we are lol.
Warning: angst, hurt/comfort, miscommunication, argument, bad writing lol English isn't my first language. also, soft!Rafe in the end!
Words: 1490
The sun hung low over the Outer Banks as Rafe Cameron and you found yourself embroiled in yet another heated argument. This was clearly not the first time you both got into an argument. Some of them were heavy like that one time when your best friend asked you to go to the party just to talk to Rafe (which she did) but then he dumped her after the party and she cried for weeks on your shoulder, or some Kook-owned properties that limited your access, or some insulting banter between Rafe and your friends (that got you realized how much he hated JJ).
But most of the time it was just about silly things: when he knocked up your beer accidentally, when you sailed in front of him and accidentally splashed some water (it didn't even make his already oily hair wet), or when you were napping in a near beach and he claimed that it was his territory (he was in the Cut area, for God's sake!). You two always found a way to argue.
This time, your voices clashed like crashing waves, echoing off the walls of the old shipwreck where you had sought refuge.
"You're impossible, Rafe! Always acting like you own this place, roaming around thinking that you're so much better than us Pogues," you exclaimed, your voice tinged with frustration. Pogues always owned this place, not some rich snobby kids like him, you thought.
Rafe's jaw clenched, his temper flaring and pride wounded. He hissed, "Maybe if you Pogues have some ambitions, you wouldn't be stuck in the same place your whole life!"
Oh, this was definitely one of those heavy arguments.
Your fists clenched at your sides as took a step forward. Your voice trembling with emotion. "You have no idea what it's like to struggle, Rafe. You've always had everything handed to you on a silver platter."
For a moment, you needed to convince yourself that you saw Rafe's gaze softened. You wanted to believe that a flicker of remorse crossed his features before he quickly masked it with a defiant glare. "At least I don't have to scrape by just to survive. Maybe if you Pogues worked harder, you'd actually amount to something."
His words struck deep, a painful reminder of the challenges you and your community faced every day. You recoiled as if struck by a lightning, your eyes stinging with unshed tears and your face was red, "You don't know anything about me, Rafe. You don't know what I've been through."
Your argument drew the attention of Sarah who was nearby with John. She was one of your best friends and you felt nothing but pity every time you realized that she shared the same blood with Rafe. With a furrowed brow, she stepped between you two, her hands raised in a gesture of peace trying to calm you down.
"Hey, what's going on here? Can't you two go five minutes without arguing?" Sarah pleaded, her voice filled with concern and annoyance. She must be tired with all these arguments, you thought. But those were all about Rafe's incapability to control his temper! And that might or might not be your issue as well...
Rafe shot you a scorching glare before turning his attention to Sarah. "Stay out of this, Sarah. This doesn't concern you."
Your eyes flashed with defiance as you stepped forward beside Sarah. "You're the one who concerns everyone with your existence!"
"What did you say to her, Rafe?!" Sarah looked at you with a concern. You were one of her strongest friends and she rarely saw you tremble like this. "Come on, talk it out like an adult, will ya!"
Rafe's fists clenched at his sides, his frustration boiling over. "Talk? What's there to talk about? I said, stay out of this, Sarah."
His gaze turned to you, "You think you know everything, (Y/N). Being the weaker one of the community, blaming us for having some money. If you said that I don't know anything about you, then you also don't know anything about me!"
His words cut like a blade across your pain. Your expression softened, a hint of hurt flickering in your eyes and you were not sure whether Rafe realize that or not. "Let's just cut it out. You would never understand what I've been through. What we have been through. Let's go, Sarah. Let's get out of here."
Sarah watched the exchange with growing concern, her heart aching for her brother and her best friend. She knew there was something deeper at play here, something that neither of them wanted to admit.
"Come on, you two. Let's take a step back and calm down, especially you, Rafe," Sarah suggested, her voice gentle yet firm. She glared at his brother. His face was as red as you, his forehead frowned deep.
You and Rafe exchanged a wary glance before reluctantly exhaled a deep breath. As much as you hate him, as much as you didn't want to admit, you really want him to apologize. The tension in the air began to dissipate, replaced by a palpable sense of unease.
Sarah sighed, running a hand through her hair as she tried to find the right words. "Look, I know things have been tense lately, but I really can't bear another sight of you guys bicker over things. If you still want to do that, please not where I can see you. I need you two to be in your best behavior when I'm around. Especially with you, Rafe. I have enough of you already."
Rafe's gaze softened as he looked at his sister, a pang of guilt tugging at his heart. "You're right, Sarah. I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier."
Sarah still held her concern, but she relieved to see them finally finding common ground. "It's okay. Now I'll leave it up to you. I can't mom you around like this, geez."
She walked away from you both. She lived long enough with both you and Rafe and there was no way she did not realized that beneath the surface, there was a different kind of tension simmered—a tension born from unspoken feelings and unacknowledged desires.
You stood still, refused to meet his gaze. The wind blew your hair as the sun began to set. You started to feel the chill and instinctively hug your own body, fixing your shirt together. You accidently drew a sharp breath when a cold wind sent chills down your spine. You sniffed and looked over the horizon. Refusing to take even the tiniest glance at him, you kept looking at the sea while stroking your upper arm.
Despite the heat of your argument, Rafe couldn't ignore the way the cold seemed to seep into your bones, making you appeared small and vulnerable against the vast expanse of the beach. His heart ached at this view.
You didn't see that he wanted to reach out, to wrap his arms around you and shield her from the biting wind; his hesitation to offer you warmth and comfort in the midst of your argument.
But his pride held him back, a barrier he had built long ago to protect himself from vulnerability and pain. Yet now, standing on the windswept beach with you before him, he couldn't ignore the truth any longer.
With a heavy sigh, Rafe took a step forward, his voice barely above a whisper as he spoke. "(Y/N), I... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said those things. I was out of line."
Your eyes widened in surprise at Rafe's apology, your anger momentarily forgotten as she regarded him with cautious curiosity. You had expected him to be stubborn, to be the usual Rafe: to dig in his heels and refuse to back down. But instead, here he was, standing before you with such humility you'd never seen before.
For a moment, the two of them stood in silence, the only sound the crashing of the waves against the shore. And then, slowly, hesitantly, you took a step forward, closing the distance between them.
"Rafe," you said softly, your voice barely audible above the wind. "Thank you."
And with that, Rafe's resolve crumbled completely. Ignoring the voice of doubt in his mind, he opened his arms and pulled you into a tight embrace, provided you with the warmth of his body against yours. He could feel the softness of your hair against his cheek and he kissed your head softly it almost gave you a heart attack.
So you were not hallucinating all this time. The glances, the gestures, the underlying concern for her.... He felt the same way, too.
In that moment, with the cold wind whipping around them, you knew that he had finally acknowledged his feelings for you. And as you stood together on the windswept beach, you both vowed to never let your pride stand in the way of your connection again.

Playing Translation Telephone
“Hi,” I said as the door slid open. “Captain Sunlight wants to know how your translations are going.”
Coals sighed. “They’re going. This one’s a mess.” He shook his lizardy head, brick-red scales dull in the light by the doorway. That part of the translation suite was always dim because Trrili liked looming in the shadows there.
But today she was at the workstation in the back, surrounded by glowing screens and a cloud of irritated hisses. “I think we missed a language,” she announced, snapping her pincher arms and angling her antennae into a scowl.
“What, really?” Coals asked. He ran a hand over his head, scales clicking quietly. “How many is that now?”
“Sixssss,” Trrili hissed.
Coals grumbled something I didn’t catch, and walked back over to the workstation.
Curious, I followed and let the door shut behind me. “What kind of project is this one?”
“Old records of a multi-species colonizing effort,” Coals said from his floating chair with the tail hole. “The originals are lost, and all that’s left is this jumble that’s been translated through a succession of languages, none of which they bothered to write down. And they want us to figure out what the originals actually meant.”
“Sounds tricky,” I said. Each of the screens held writing, most in languages I didn’t recognize. Some were notes in the trade language we all spoke, and I was amused to see how much swearing was in Trrili’s notes.
“It is very tricky,” Trrili agreed, jabbing a little wrist finger at the screen in the middle. “The grammar doesn’t match the words, and the idioms are an utter tar hole. It’s anyone’s guess what culture came up with some of these details.”
“I’m pretty sure the bit about rocks is a Strongarm saying,” Coals said. “It makes more sense than a Frillian interpretation.”
“Yes, fine, probably,” Trrili said with an irritated wave of her pinchers. “I’m stuck at this part that goes off on a tangent about the family arrangements of the wildlife. It’s clearly significant, and at least one layer of translation wanted to make sure the full interpretation was spelled out, but that just makes it more confusing.”
“How so?” I asked. I’d gotten the job on this ship because of my animal-care knowledge, so maybe I could offer some insights. I peered at the screen.
“This part,” Trrili said, “Is a recounting of a colonist’s experience in retrieving goods from a shuttle that crashed in a lake. The water creatures seem to have complex social arrangements, and somehow that relates to their behavior toward this particular colonist.” She folded her pinchers and leaned back, glaring at the ancient diary. “Of course this had to be written by someone disinclined to speaking clearly.”
“What kind of behavior is it?” I asked. “Are we talking mating advances, or aggressively protecting the young, or—?”
“Aggressive,” Trrili said immediately. “This word means mouth, possibly teeth specifically, and in the grammatical arrangement that it’s currently configured into, it has to be saying that the thing bit the colonist.”
Coals flipped through documents on another screen. “Do we know what the official name for the creature is?”
Trrili hissed. “Not even close. That’s what this whole tangent is: an attempt at describing it. I’d love to know if it was the original colonist or someone later who decided it would be helpful to tell us that this creature’s ancestors rejected social bonds.”
“Rejected how?” I asked.
Coals brought up another document. “I’ve got something on the legal system of the original colony. Sounds like there were multiple types of family arrangements at play. Possibly this colonist was just musing on a similarity to their own life.”
Trrili hissed. “How does that help us? I don’t see any accounts of this person’s family life, or even their species. We have no way to know if their own parents performed the socially-accepted rituals or not.”
“Wait,” I said. “Is this about the animal’s parents not doing a certain ritual? Like marriage? Is the colonist calling the fish a bastard?”
Both of my alien coworkers looked at me. Coals asked slowly, “That’s an insult in human circles, isn’t it?”
“Yes!”
Trrili threw her pinchers skyward and stalked away from the workstation. “Of course it is. You people are sentimental about everything, including reproduction. This would have been so much simpler if we’d known from the start that there was a human layer to this.”
“So what does it say?” I asked. “The colonist went into the lake to help with the crash, and got bitten by a bastard fish?”
Trrili was walking in circles hissing, so Coals scooted in front of the center screen. “Going by what we’ve figured out so far,” he said, “The colonist was trying to move salvage from the shuttle. Walking through shallow water. The water creatures were of many bright colors — it goes into detail about that, comparing them to refractive prisms and seaspray — but they kept their distance as long as the colonist kept moving. Pretty sure this part says one came in for a bite as soon as the colonist stood still. And that’s where we go off on an elaborate description of the creature’s family arrangements.”
I grinned. “‘Dear diary, today I waded through a lake and got bit by a rainbow bastard fish. Terrible experience; wouldn’t recommend.’”
Coals looked closer. “It does actually say something like that afterward,” he admitted. “There’s a suggestion that the next person to enter the water wear protective clothing.”
Over Trrili’s aggravated hissing, I said, “That colonist might have been a human.”
“Might indeed,” Coals said. He scrolled up through a page of notes. “That could actually shed some light on a couple other spots, now that you mention it.”
Trrili appeared beside us. “Bring up the part about the colony leader mating with someone’s mother.”
I laughed. “I can tell you right now that that’s an insult. The colonist is likely complaining about the boss, not describing something that actually happened.”
Coals looked at Trrili. “Told you we need an insult chart.”
Trrili tilted her head dramatically. “That’s so much work!”
“So’s this,” Coals pointed out. “How about you take another look at what we’ve got so far here, and I’ll start a list of common human insults.”
Trrili took a position in front of the screens, hissing quietly.
“I’ll be happy to help,” I said to Coals. “My people are very creative on that front.”
“So I gather,” Coals said. He scooted over to me, digital notepad at the ready. “And not one of those insults revolves around eggs. Mindblowing.”
“Well,” I said with a tip of my head. “There is the thing about teaching your grandmother to suck eggs. That’s kind of an insult.”
“What?” Coals said. “Never mind. I can tell this is going to be a long list.”

Hi, I love your writing sm! I was wondering if you could do prompt 20 with lesso. Kinda thinking that lesso has a big crush on reader but doesn’t know how to show it. So she acts like a jerk bc she’s so bad at flirting. I just thought the prompt is totally fitting for her!
You Misunderstand Me, Baby ~Lady Lesso xFem Teacher!Reader

Heyyy anon!! Thank you for the request, dear. I greatly appreciate them 🥰 So, here a little Lady Lesso fic to your ask. Hope you Enjoy! 💋🖤
Mommy… Master List
Request & Prompt-List
#20. “Then why are you such a constant asshole?!”
Warnings: NSFW, 18+!!, smut, semi-public sex, fingering, clit stimulation, implied oral, light teasing, fighting, light angry sex, etc.
Enjoy (;
“What’s your problem with me?”
“I don’t have a problem with you.”
“Yes you do.” You insisted.
“No I do not.”
Lesso practically snarled back, stalking towards you and pushing you up against the closed door of your classroom.
“Then why are you such a constant asshole?!” You exclaimed.
Lesso’s eyes widened but she gave no verbal response. Before you could say another word, the red head’s lips were on yours.
You gasped into the kiss, frozen. Lesso grabbed your waist and swiveled you back to your desk. She effectively trapped you in between her and your desk, while your kiss got more and more heated. Her lips warmed you back up, and you happily leaned in further to deepen the kiss.
Once out of breath, you pulled away from the woman.
“What the actual fuck Lesso??” You gasped and chuckled, placing a hand in front of your mouth in shock.
“Maybe I didn’t make myself clear…” the redhead purred wickedly.
Lesso picked you up and placed you on the edge of your desk with ease. You yelped as her cold fingers ran underneath your trousers and found your underwear line. With a quick snap, your panties broke. And the next thing you felt was the woman’s cold fingertips glazing over your wet folds. Your hips bucked forward into Lesso’s hand desperately.
“Oh fuck—!” You whimpered, “m-more please…!” You immediately pled with the woman.
“Want me to take you right here…?”
“Yes god yes please—”
Lesso smirked coyly at your words of consent and slid two of her fingers knuckle deep into your cunt with ease.
“Oooooooh fuck—!”
You lunged forward and grabbed into the woman’s shoulders with your hands for stability.
“F-ffaster Lesso please…!!”
Lesso happily obliged, fucking you at a newfound and brutal pace. Your hips buckle violently into the red head’s hand. Your mind started to get all fuzzy and cloud over.
“K-keep—oh god—going!” You exclaimed, your mouth hanging open with pleasure.
The whole desk was shaking at the quick paced fucking this woman was giving you. Lesso watched you intently, taking in every little reaction that she pulled from you.
“Put pressure on…shit—on my c-clit…!!” You gasped in desperation, continuing to sloppily rock your hips against Lesso’s hand.
Lesso hummed and placed her ring finger firmly against your clit. You let out an unabashed moan at this action, your hips jolting violently forward.
She continued her direct pursuit of your high, and the red head had you crashing over your climax in record time. You gasped for breath as your walls clenched around her fingers.
Lesso helped you down from your high, afterwards then slowly pulling out of you. She brought her coated fingers up to her lips, licking them clean right in front of you. You gulped. That brought a whole new wave of arousal in between your legs, even while you were still desperately recovering from your last high.
“That clear enough for you…?” She chuckled, still twirling her tongue teasingly around her fingers.
“I—yes!” You breathlessly exclaimed.
Your eyes followed the woman’s tongue in eagerness and need.
“But… maybe you can better explain it still…?”
Lesso smirked at your needy tone. She dropped to her knees and split your legs open with ease.
“With pleasure.” She purred wickedly.

Tumblr media
you and connie broke up everyday, this was nothing new.
y’all had got into an argument today because some girl had responded to his story on instagram saying “#NeedThat” and this boy thought it was funny and started entertaining it, even tho he was mostly trolling and you and him both know he’d never cheat it still made you mad cause… wtfk??
“bro yn you overreacting, you know ion want that btc, you actin like i was asking her on a date or sum shii, ian even say nothing that indicated i wanted her.” he said while he was waving the phone around in your face trying to show you he had blocked her.
“ion gaf bout you blocking her, why tfk you texting her back and entertaining her anyways?? you know how embarrassing ts is for me?”
eren lowk knew he was wrong and that he should just give in and tell you he’s sorry, but the nga so stubborn and sassy that he just had to win the argument.
“you know what yn, ionc no more you wanna be mad, be mad, im tired of yo shii.”
he walked over to the dresser and put on a shirt, then grabbed his keys and started walking towards the front door.
“so you just leaving ? like you always do when you know you wrong, it’s not that fucking hard to apologize instead of acting like a lil btc about it.”
one thing about eren, he don’t play that b wrd shii.
he turned around and looked at you (he was muggin real hard 2)
“bro, keep running yo fkin mouth, see what happen” idk who he was feelin like, but he was pointing all in yo face n shii.
“boy you better gtf outta my face”
he scoffed and started walking to the door again, before he left out he said “we done” you rolled your eyes and said “type shii”
like i said before, this wasn’t nothing new. you knew he was gone be back in the next 24 hours (or less)
time skip: 4 hours later, it’s 8:30.
eren was at a party (hoin, ofc) and you seen on his story that he out was showin out?? he had girls dancing all on him and shii, ouu girll.
so ofc, you bein you, had to show him how to really act bad. you fixed yo hair, made sure the lace was melted honey, did yo makeup and got dressed, you called sasha, mikasa, zar, and jatavia and told them what the move was.
when yall got to the party, first thing you see, this ho ass boy getting twerked on, you ain’t really care tho, he wasn’t really touching her so you didn’t mind that bad, but that was still yo nga so it pyo a little bit, but once again, you bein you, you went yo to jean and started throwin downnn.
Jatavia started laughing “Girl he gone getcho lil ass” “he doin the the shit, idc.”
girl lemme tell you, when eren looked up and seen ts he was ready to crash out damn near, but him, bein the sassy lil princess he is, had to 1 up you.
he grabbed this this girl byyyy her neck and kissed her??? not only that he was making eye contact with you while he did it.
then then he pulled away from the kiss and lead the ho out the door ..
ts blew yo whole mood, but you didn’t let it show ofc, you left the party like 20 mins later tho.
the next day
you were getting ready to go to another party ony was throwing, you and Jatavia were getting ready to meet sasha, mikasa, and zar there.
15 minutes later yall get there, yall having a good time, you really only went out tn to get yesterdays events out of your head.
sure yall not together “technically” and eren could do what he wanted but that’s wasn’t the point. it’s the principle of the situation.
after dancing for a bit you went into the kitchen to get something to drink, when you walked in you seen Eren, Armin, Connie, Ony, and Jean passing the splif around.
“hey yn” connie said nodding his head up at you smirking as he looked back and forth between you and eren.
“don’t piss me off rn” you said while you were digging through the fridge. “ony where all yo good drinks at damn?” you pulled a capri sun out then leaned again the fridge.
“fuck is you staring at” you looked at eren and mugged him when you seen him staring at you.
“i’m sorry ma, you straight?” you rolled your eyes “you kissed that ho infront me and everybody else, then proceeded to take the bitch hand and go somewhere and fuck her? you dead to me.”
Ony, Armin, Jean and Connie was sitting there being messy sayin shii like “he said her shii was trash” “he miss you tho” “ok but he diddd say sorry”
“first off” he walked in front of you, leaning on the island.
“i didn’t touch her, i was just doin that to get a reaction out of you, then you was twerking on jean??”
“only cause you was letting that bitch twerk on you”
as you were talking, that same lil ho walked into the kitchen.
“girl you just mad i took yo nga, everytime yall into it he be with me, beating shii down.” she stood next to eren and crossed her arms, you looked at him with that “dpmo” look then back at her.
“ma, she lyin i swear, only thing i ever did with her was kiss, and i only did it once, which was yesterday.” eren said while moving away from her and going next to you.
the girl rolled her eyes “you just gone sit there and lie?, tell her the truth.”
(this story alr corny but here come the cornier part 😂)
before eren could defend himself you spoke up…
“He might be doing you, but he's thinkin' about me so, baby, think about another lover, and go find another brother”
then here go connie “Period sis, clock it.”
the girl rolled her eyes “girl boo, that’s not yo nga. he fa me.”
“I know he's my man, he's all in my hands, It feels good when he calls my name, Don't you wish you had the same? Feeling disgust working your stuff 'Til he thinks about mine, Now he's feeling real high, You ask why? cause he's mine.”
she was getting a lil mad too, then connie and them in the back being messy tb “she clocking you boo” lil sassy tails. then eren just sitting there laughing at them.
“that’s not what he saying last not tho. “ooo to shii so fye, the bets i ever had.” he love me suh, i love him too.” she said with a petty smile on her face.
erens eyes widen at this, this was really delusional?? “nihh wtfk?? on everything i love i wasn’t witchu last night, after i took you outside i got in my car, by myself, and went to connie shii.”
“Tell you something that just ain't cool, Never fall in love with a man who don't love you, oh, I wouldn't waste my time telling you something wrong,You've been with him one night, and now he's coming home.”

Tumblr media
WARNING : VERY CRUEL, CANNIBALISM REFERENCES, PENETRATION, BITING, MANHANDLING, CUNNILINGUS, JUST PLAIN HATE FUCK? LMAO IDEK HOW TO TAG THIS ANYMORE, DARK CONTENT! NSFW, (DNI IF YOU AREN’T 18+)
A/N : Y'all I’m back after a year omfg, thank you for 437 followers! I’m grateful for the recognition. I got lazy halfway writing the rest of the smut, sorry y'all.🧍‍♀️
— Sacrifice of the self is noble, sacrifice of others is cowardly. A life forlorn while doom is in your blood. There is no room for terror of demons if you were born for one.
“You are our salvation, my beautiful, beautiful daughter.” Lithe fingers thread through the strands of your hair, intertwining with frail and bony fingers. Your mother coughs, each sound scratchy like a record player but each syllable lulling you in a state of tenderness.
“Why me, mother?” You asked, your voice betraying your heart. You are stuck in a state of confusion, thoughts spiraling as to why out of all, you?
“My darling, we aren’t made to last forever and there will be no peace in eternity.” As her words spill from her chapped lips and sharp tongue, so do the tears that kiss the bone of your cheeks.
A sacrificial lamb, agnus. That’s all you were ever destined for. Destined to be nothing but ruins sedimenting until the depths of your soul, a divine offering to a god like him.
They say that fear is a common reaction to the divine and that does frighten you. A chill suddenly hugged your frame, bones shaking from trepidation. You are born and you blossomed from the land of death, a doomed faith filled with nothing but misery and wisteria.
A booming knock sounded from the wooden door, along with the crash of thunder storm and the rise and fall of the seas. “It is time! You must hurry, he is angry! The god is getting angry!” accompanied by screams of terror, the children, the people, you thought. The water level rises up along with your constant sobs and tears of panic.
Your mother scurries, holding you up by the sharp points of your elbow forcing you to stand and face your fate. A wretched and noble flavor leaves a bitter taste in your tongue. Your lip curls as to why? A constant question in your mind. You bite your lip in pretense of bravery.
You walk slowly out of the door, facing the unforgiving seas with only a dagger clasped within the calluses of your hand. You walk up until the tips of your toes kiss the foam of the waves, drawing a big breath, a gust of wind fills and expands your lungs, feeling like something is caught in your throat. You close your eyes, wispy lashes caressing your cheeks as tears still escape the tight bindings. You remember all the lives lost and the safety of others, engraved in your mind and forever a resolve.
“Where are you! Show yourself, I am not a coward! I come here to face you.” You shout into oblivion, your saccharine voice echoing through the waters.
“Reveal yourself! Don’t waste my fucking time!” Your shouts are getting angrier, feeling like there’s gravel stuck in your throat. All the while your palms clutch the blade harder, drawing cardinals from the crevices of your palm.
A swishing sound caused your neck to snap forwards, heavy steps slapping against the salty waters. “Ah, what a sweet lamb, eh?” A Shadow makes its eldritch dance, telling stories of terror in the buoyant breeze. His gravelly voice reaches your ears, it’s depths like a punch in your gut.
“I can feel your misery sweet lamb.” He taunts, his voice echoing and teasing your mind. You squint through the haze, trying to make up his figure but he blends well with the fog and the raindrops mess with your vision.
You finally get a clear view of his hauntingly beautiful face, a scream making it way past your lips in shock and terror. Your whole life was dedicated to this, but nothing could have prepared you for Sukuna, the god of the unforgiving seas.
“I get that reaction a lot, more than you know.” He says unfazed, walking slowly and unforgiving towards you. You blink to get a clear view of divine masculinity. Blushed hair with markings that tell tales, kissing all over his sinewy form. A man that is not like mankind with four arms and a profusion of faces.
He is so hauntingly, and devastatingly beautiful.
All the while stunned by the creature, he suddenly shocks you by stabbing his trident with great force and speed, caging in your neck, sharp claws burying in the sand. You let out a sharp cry as your body falls, embracing your impact while your downy skin clashes with the rough sand. Your hands immediately grip the sharp claws of his weapon while trying to find yours. “Do not even try it.” He says with cruel eyes and a sharp smirk.
“No– NO!” You cry out in defeat, your mind spiraling into hysteria. What a fool you thought, your whole life was dedicated to fight and achieve victory against this wretched god, but you were left with defeat in seconds without even a single slash on his scarred skin.
He kneels down beside your form, caressing your cheeks affectionately. You were dumbfounded and you found yourself leaning into the touch.
A man you were taught to despise your whole life, was the only man who showed you what affection felt like in a slither of a second.
You stare at his peculiar face with betraying eyes and lashes wet with tears. “Little lamb, you are an instrument of war.” He says, confusing you even further.
Your chest heaves in confusion, wondering whether to kiss the man or slit his throat. You try to swallow in attempts to relieve the dryness of your throat.
“I don’t understand–” you shake your head, “We’re supposed to, I’m supposed to-” You were interrupted with a feral kiss, his winter lips as cold as stone. It felt like a loving rub to your back, a mother’s affection and a friendship that you missed out on your whole life. His kiss was ferocious and unforgiving, but he has given you nothing but beautiful madness. Your pale white dress clings to your skin, hugging your figure. Baring the sharp points of your nipples due to the coldness of the cruel storm.
His angry, roaming hands make their way to every inch of your body, sanctifying your soul. He reaches your pussy, baring your soul to him. The waves smash around the rocks in the shallows, their foam crests creating a chaotic lace on the blue.
“What a sweet, sweet lamb, all for me, right?” He asks in a tauntingly soft voice, you can’t do nothing but agree, like a dumbstruck whore.
Your hips lift in an attempt to chase pleasure as his fingers circle your clit. He grips the skin of your hips in a bruising clutch as his tongue darts out to lick the length of you stomach in a maddening path up and down, sealing his cruel intentions deep into your skin. Open mouthed kisses placed in your lower abdomen as you moan sweetly at the foreign sensation of pleasure and sentiment. Still confused at the fact that you were taught to hate a man who has so far shown you nothing but pleasure and cruel affection.
Sukuna lifts your dress that sticks to your skin angrily, like it was blasphemy for anything to touch your skin other than him. Lush and plump thighs greeted him, along with the sweetest pussy ever bared to him. He parts your pussy lips with his thumb, opening you up in the most sensitive way.
“I love the sounds you make, so sweet, so saccharine.” He says, while his thumb plays with your clit.
He grips your thighs and lifts your hips, holding you by your iliac crest and greedily covering your cunt with his mouth.
“Not even the sweetest fruit on earth could ever hold a candle to the taste of your pussy.” He murmurs as he eats you out unforgivingly, his tongue stretching you in sweet agony.
“Oh gods, it feels so good.” You moan breathily, he stops momentarily, his hands gripping your face while his sharp nails dig into the plush of your cheeks.
“I’m here, and I’m the only god you’ll address while you’re bared to me, and only me.” He says with enough force for submission, you could only nod your head in response.
He sits on the soles of his feet as he admires the beautiful picture you paint for him, his cock throbbing while the scent and sweetness of your pussy still lingering on his tongue.
“You could drive a god crazy and wonder what their fingers did before they held you.” He says in admiration as he fists his cock, veiny and throbbing, dripping with pre-cum.
Your hips twitch in desire and terror, wondering how you’re ever going to take him in your pussy.
His mouth roams around your breast, his incisors driving down and biting on the soft flesh above your left breast, drawing crimson blood and marks all over your body, marking it as his temple.
You release a cry from the pain and pleasure, the only two other sensations you’ve ever felt other than doom and terror. He shushes your cry by licking on the wound as he releases sounds of pleasure from the taste of your blood and flesh.
You no longer believe in anything other than the way he holds your flesh between his teeth, as it starts to taste like religion to him.
His hands cage your hips, pinning them down to the sand leaving no room for protest. He aligns his cock to your pussy, driving in full force with no mercy. You cry and cry out from the pain until it turns into pleasure, blood covering the premises of your thighs and his hips. His eyes close from heaven on earth and he looks so beautiful with you all over his mouth.
You moan his name until it is no different than a prayer. You begin to think you’re sick in the head for committing such acts of crime that everyone would shame and frown upon but god you wanted him, in some primal, wild way, full of teeth, blood and flesh.
Because after all, cruelty was the only love you’ve ever known.

A+ for Blaise Zabini
A Blaise Zabini smut
Minimal plot, maximum smut, where you taunt Blaise about having better grades than him but then things escalate.
Haha when I said that I was back yesterday, I meant it. Apologies for the wait, I hope it’s to your liking. I just love that I'm writing again! So thank you for sending your request. Lots of love and of course happy readings!
Warning: smuttt
— The request —
hi! i really like your writing and i was wondering (if you’re comfortable) if you could write more blaise smut? thanks!
— The writing —
You wave your test results in front of Blaise Zabini as you both leave the classroom. “Hah. Look who is the superior one… again.” With dark eyes Blaise looks at you, his tongue poking the inside of his cheek as he tries to keep his cool. “You got lucky.” He says drily walking past you in the hallway. “It was a test. It has nothing to do with luck. You either know your material and pass as gracefully as I did or you, you know-” “What?” Blaise snaps and turns around. His friends raise their eyebrows but don’t stay to watch to show. Suddenly it’s just you and a very pissed off Blaise Zabini.
Honestly, you knew you kind’ve had it coming, but you also weren’t sorry. Him and his little group could be so annoying and getting back at him, pissing him off, was just so funny that you couldn’t resist. “Lost your tongue there?’ Blaise smirks at your delayed response. “No.” You say, but you fail to come up with anything sassy. You blame his closeness, his handsome figure towering over you. He snorts and before you realise it snatches your test from your hands. "Really impressive.” He mocks as he pretends to check your answers, but also keeping it out of reach for you. “Give it back. If you want grades as good as mine then start studying instead of stealing my test.”
“I have better grades in every class. This one little stupid test doesn’t matter.” He waves the paper in front of you and you grab it, but because Blaise doesn’t let go of it, it tears. “Merlin!” You yell and Blaise just snorts. “Your own fault.” Your eyes widen. “My fault?” You reach for your wand and Blaise’s eyes fill with panic. He quickly shoots to you and grabs your hand, pointing your wand up to the ceiling and away from his pretty face. Now, close together, he meets your eyes. “Let’s not do anything stupid. This could seriously get you in trouble.” Your eyes are still filled with rage as he says those words. “Like you care, you only want to save your own skin.”
“If you were as good looking as me, you would understand.” Blaise plays and you roll your eyes, but the anger subsides as you realise that an easy spell can fix your torn test and won’t get you detention. “Let go of me Blaise.” You say, sounding annoyed but calmer. “Promise not to hex me.” He whispers, his lips moving closer to your ear, making you look up at him in curiosity. You notice a sparkle in his eyes, something you’d never seen before. There was something playful in the always so reserved slytherin.
There’s this moment of intense silence as the air between you two fills with sexual tension. “Blaise-” You breathe out not really knowing what you wanted to say or what you wanted from him. Blaise’s eyes move to your lips still parted from saying his name a second ago. A breathy sound escapes Blaise as he pushes you against the wall. One arm resting next to your head, while his other hand keeps your hip pinned against the wall. You lean your head back against the wall as a silent way of surrendering to what is about to happen. His lips hungrily crash on to ours.
He pushes his whole body against yours and you feel overwhelmed with sensation as his warmth fills you with lust. His hand moves to open the door of the broom closet right next to you. “We are not doing this.” You state with a soft voice and your stern eyes meet his. “No?” He asks with a raised eyebrow, not convinced by your weak protest. Merlin, this man is attractive. Like he can read your thoughts he smirks and moves a hand to gently squeeze your ass, making you jump a little and allowing him to pick you up. You wrap your legs around him as he walks you into the small space to push you against a wall and kiss you passionately. With one flick of your wand you lock the door and he genuinely looks impressed by your quick thinking and use of magic.
His lips hover over yours. “You’re far from innocent.” You roll your eyes. “Shut up and kiss me.” You demand, moving a hand to the back of his neck and pulling him in for a kiss. To your disappointment he’s quick to move away from your lips. “I had something else in mind.” You frown for a moment and are little concerned over his smug smile. Blaise finds your confusion both adorable and amusing and he slowly and teasingly moves to his knees, making you throw your head back in realisation.
His fingers tenderly move up your thighs as he places soft kisses while pushing up your skirt. Your breath hitches as he lowers your panties and continues to kiss you. He wraps his arm around your leg pushing one leg over his shoulder, making you whimper in anticipation. “Please.” You manage to say, swallowing your pride and urging him to give your pussy some much needed attention. Instead of gloating in your desperation for him, Blaise is more than happy to be a gentleman and take care of the lady in front of him.
He grips your hips and passionately sucks and licks at your sensitive spot, making your breath go unsteady as you try to keep yourself from moaning loudly. After a moment of trying to keep composure you fully surrender to him, allowing yourself to rest on his strong shoulder and sinking your cunt onto him. He's pleased to have you all to him and feels himself get harder as you struggle to keep quiet. You gently buck your hips as you feel yourself get closer and his fingers dig into your skin as a response to your neediness. “It’s okay, pretty girl, just relax.” Blaise almost moans against your pussy and you cling to the shelves behind you for support as you moan his name louder and hornier than intended. While you feel your climax rush through you, Blaise feels himself get painfully hard. The sound of his name coming out of your mouth in such a filthy way did things to him and the way he got to taste you almost made his mind go blank. He wanted and needed that moment to last forever, but it didn’t. You went quiet again as you came down from your high.
However, Blaise was eager to relive that moment and wasted no time getting up and meeting your lips. Your hand moves to the back of his head as you meet his passion in the kiss. “You’re the most amazing woman I’ve ever met.” Blaise breathes in between kisses and before you can respond he continues. “So fucking gorgeous.” His lips move away from yours so he can take in your figure for a moment before kissing you sloppily. “You haven’t seen the best part yet.” You tease and push him away to undo the buttons of your shirt. His eyes are glued to your fingers working those buttons and you love how hooked he is. “Hey Zabini, this isn’t a one man show.” You play and tug his shirt. As you slip down your shirt he quickly pulls his over his head, before slamming his body against yours again, like magnets that pull towards each other. He admires your lingerie for a moment before quickly undoing your bra, while you work his belt. His pants drop to the ground and he tugs your skirt until it also slips down. In love with your breasts Blaise gently cups them, massaging them while kissing you hungrily.
He slips two fingers through your folds, making you moan and part your lips so he can sneak his tongue in and kiss you roughly, silencing your moans as his fingers stretch your pussy. Once you’re throbbing and soaking wet for him, he pulls his fingers away making you cling to him as he teases your sensitive cunt with his precum soaked member. He enters you slowly but pushes deep, his eyes never leaving your glassy ones as he fills you with his length. He cups your cheek and kisses you. “So good.” He breathes with a husky voice, trying not to moan as he feels like he could climax just because this intimate moment felt so good. He manages to give you one more sweet but sloppy kiss before hiding his face in the crook of your neck and fucking you at an amazingly steady pace, hitting you right every fucking time and making your mind go hazy with pleasure. It was like he was on a mission to make you see stars and you cling to him, nails digging into his skin, like he was the only thing on this earth. Pornographic moans slip out of your mouth and Blaise can no longer keep himself quiet as you both close in on your orgasm.
Blaise’s animalistic grunts and moans fill your ears as your legs tremble in his hands and your second orgasm hits you, making you softly dig your teeth into Blaise’s shoulder to keep yourself from moaning his name too loud. With sloppily moves Blaise works your sensitive pussy until he cums. Panting, he presses his forehead against yours. His high is keeping him from saying anything, but his dreamy look says it all and you steal a tender kiss from him, making him smile like an idiot. “If this were a test I would say you passed with flying colours, A+ for Blaise Zabini.” A soft and exhausted chuckle escapes Blaise. This one really is something.

"Where have you been?"
You dropped your bag to the floor and shrugged off your jacket, hanging it up.
"Out. How was work?"
Emily ignored your question, crossing her arms as she leaned against the wall, watching you with curious eyes.
"Out with who?"
"No one, Em. Am I not allowed to leave this apartment?" You sighed.
"You never just leave without telling me where you're going or who you're with, don't give me an attitude."
You roll your eyes, heading to the bedroom. Emily stopped you.
"You're not going to bed without telling me where you've been."
"Why does it matter? You've been at work. I just wanted to get some fresh air," you threw your hands up in slight frustration. "You leave every morning, and I don't question you. Why can't I do the same?"
"Because I don't trust you!" Emily raised her voice. She blocked off your path, glaring at you.
You narrowed your eyes, steeling your composure to not show that her words had hurt you.
"Why not? I'm your girlfriend."
"And that means I should trust you just because we are dating? You've given me plenty of reasons not to trust you."
"Like what?"
Emily placed her hands on her hips, standing up straighter. "You've been secretive, you're too friendly with other women, you're always on your phone, you hide things from me."
Rage bubbled inside your chest. "Do you think you're a saint, Emily? You are no different from me. How many times have I tried to ask you about your day, just for you to shut down? How many times have I been tossed aside while you prioritize your work? How many hours have I spent waiting for you to come home, worrying that you were shot dead when you'd really just fallen asleep at your desk?"
Emily flinched, surprised by seeing you so angry, and how true your words were.
"Y/N, that's different. i'm just... busy all the time, or have classified information..."
You felt tears sting in your eyes.
"I can't do this anymore," you whisper.
Emily froze in place at your words, watching you grab a duffle bag from the hallway closet.
"What?"
You swiftly moved to the bedroom, feeling Emily follow behind you. You started packing a few essentials, deciding that you would come back later for more things.
"You know what."
"You're leaving?"
"I don't think you're ready to be in a serious relationship, Em. I saw the signs from the start, but I overlooked them because I liked you. But I can't put up with all the secrets, the lying, and the distrust anymore. I'm your girlfriend; I trust you more than I trust anyone in the whole world, and it hurts that you don't feel the same about me."
You wiped your tears.
Emily took a step forward, feeling a surge of panic.
"Sweetheart, listen, it's not like that... I..." she faltered, unable to think of anything that would fix this situation.
You waited for Emily to continue, but her silence was enough of an answer. You zipped up your bag and walked over to Emily, giving her a soft kiss on her forehead.
"I love you, Em. But I can't stay here."
Emily's face briefly softened at your kiss, but her heart dropped as your departure started becoming very real.
"I-" Emily's voice cracked. "Can I talk to you? Please?"
You stopped by the door, considering your next words very carefully.
"I've given you so many chances to talk to me. If all it takes is for me to leave, then it's probably too late."
A wave of hurt crashed over Emily, even though she knew there was a truth to your words.
"I promise I'm ready to talk now."
You made the grave mistake to turn back, and one look at her sad brown eyes was convincing enough. Wordlessly, the two of you walked to the couch and sat down.
Emily took your hand, breathing a sigh of relief when you didn't pull away.
"I know I haven't been the best girlfriend over the past couple months, okay? I-I admit, I've been keeping some things from you, but you have to understand..."
"Understand what?" You voice was soft, but your tone harsh.
"Understand why I was keeping them from you, I just..." Emily sighed. "I was scared. Scared to tell you certain things."
You looked into her eyes. "Is something happening at work? Or is it something in our relationship?"
There was a moment of hesitation before Emily spoke.
"I-it's work-related, yes... and it's the reason I've been so... on edge."
"Does it have something to do with Ian Doyle?" You pieced together.
Emily froze, the name she never wanted you to know of coming out of your mouth.
"Where did you hear that?"
You sensed the anxiousness in her voice, and you knew you were treading on dangerous waters.
"I came home early one night, and I overheard you talking on the phone to someone. You sounded stressed out, I figured it had something to do with work."
Emily nodded slowly.
"I... H-how much of that did you hear?"
You shook your head, "Not much. Just a few names and details. 'Interpol', 'undercover', 'Lauren Reynolds.'"
Just hearing those words alone made Emily anxious.
"I need you to keep what you heard a secret, okay? Don't tell anyone, not even the team. Can you promise me that?"
"Yes, of course."
A wave of silence washed over the two of you. Emily fiddled with her fingers, but never took her eyes off yours.
"Emily, I don't have to worry about losing you, do I?"
Emily managed a small smile, holding your gaze for the longest time.
"No, you don't have to worry about that. I'm not going to let anything keep me away from you, Y/N. I promise."
It was like the storm clouds had finally parted, revealing a glimpse of blue skies above. For the first time in your year-long relationship, Emily had finally opened up to you about something.
You slowly moved in for a hug, giving Emily the chance to opt out if she wanted to. But she leaned into your embrace, hugging you with such intensity, as if you'd vanish if she let go of you. Emily had never been so scared to lose someone before, and she knew that she could never risk losing you ever again.
You were the first to break the silence.
"This can't happen again, Em. I need you to be honest and trust me. I value your feelings, and I don't want to lose you."
Emily nodded as you voiced her thoughts exactly.
"I know. I promise... There's, uh... one other thing I need to tell you about."
"What is it?" You pull away to look at her.
"I need to go somewhere tomorrow to deal with an issue from my Interpol days. I'm not sure how long I'll be gone..."
Emily stood up, walking over to the window and knelt down. She flipped up a floorboard, taking out a padded envelope.
"If I'm not back within a week, I want you to open this."
You took the envelope.
"What are you planning to do, Em?" your voice shook.
"It's just a precaution," Emily lied in order to not worry you. "There's a risk that comes with every mission I go on. I just want you to keep this for the future."
When you didn't reply, Emily took your hands into hers.
"I'm going to be fine."
You nodded, touching your forehead to Emily's.
"Will you stay? Come to bed with me?"
Emily's soft and vulnerable words sent an ache to your heart.
"Yeah."
The two of you settled into bed. You laid on your side, face to face with Emily. She leaned in to plant a kiss on your forehead, wrapping her arms protectively around you.
"I love you, Y/N.”
"I love you, too."
Long after you dozed off, Emily remained awake. She wanted to remember how your body molded perfectly against hers, the smell of your shampoo and how your hair tickled her nose, and how her heart beat differently when she was around you. She worried about how you would hold up if something happened to her. She tried to stay as still as possible to not disturb your sleep. After what felt like hours, she let sleep overcome her as well.
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.
The next day, you woke up to an empty bed. Emily had already left as she usually did, but this time it came with a heavy, lingering feeling. Of what, you weren't sure yet.
You sat up in bed and glanced at the alarm clock on Emily's bedside table, which told you that it was almost 12pm. You felt something on your forehead and you reached up to find it was a bright pink sticky note. You laughed, remembering how Emily used to leave notes stuck on your forehead if she woke up and left before you.
“Be home soon. I love you,” the note read in Emily’s cursive handwriting. You stuck it to the wall above your nightstand.
You had the day off from work, so you started your day of relaxation. A few hours later, a knock on the door jolted you out of your focus on a TV show you were binging. Your limbs protested as you stood up from the position you’ve been sitting in all day.
A familiar face stood behind the door.
“Andersen?”
Agent Andersen had a solemn expression on his face.
“Y/N, I regret to inform you that Agent Prentiss has been injured in the field. I’ve been sent by Agent Hotchner to bring you to the hospital.”
The world went silent as his words sunk in. This wasn’t the first time during your relationship that Emily had gotten injured, but it wasn’t the kind of thing that got easier every time.
The journey to the hospital was a blur. Before you knew it, you were in the waiting room. A heavy silence occupied the room as you and the team waited for an update.
Finally, the doors opened and you stood up, almost falling over until Rossi took your arm. With one look at JJ’s face, you knew your worst fears had come true.
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.
It’s been seven months since Emily died. Seven months since you attended her funeral. Seven months since you quit your job, packed your bags, and left town without telling anyone.
You’ve been living in a permanent state of anxiety and grief ever since Emily’s passing. You could barely register anything happening around you, not with the words “she never made it off the table” echoing in your mind constantly. You currently resided in New York with your friend, who was in their first year of residency and basically lived at the hospital, so you had the apartment to yourself a majority of the time.
You became vaguely aware of your phone ringing as you pulled yourself out of your daze. You were surprised and confused when the caller ID read Hotch’s name. The first month after your very sudden departure, your phone was bombarded with calls from each member of the BAU. As time passed and their calls kept going unanswered, they ceased their contact. Occasionally, you would get a few voicemails from Penelope who would update you on things happening in her life and to tell you that she missed you.
“Hi.”
“Y/N,” Hotch’s voice lifted in surprise. “I wasn’t sure if you would answer.”
You sighed.
“Well, here I am.”
“I’m…” Hotch trailed off for a second. “I’m calling because I need you to come back to Quantico.”
“Not interested.”
“I wouldn’t be asking if this wasn’t important, Y/N,” Hotch spoke quickly before you could hang up.
You thought about it for a moment.
“I’ve already sent the jet your way. JJ will meet you at the airport.”
You chuckle.
“I haven’t agreed yet.”
“I think you’ll want to be back here. Just trust me.”
The thought of reuniting with JJ and the rest of the team was tempting. You hadn’t realized how much you missed them all these months.
“Okay.”
.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.
JJ met up with you at the airport runway, pulling you into a tight embrace that you reciprocated. The two of you caught up with each other as the jet got ready for takeoff.
JJ sat up straight, her face becoming serious but still warm.
“Y/N, there’s something I need to tell you before we land.”
You held her gaze, sensing a hint of anxiety in her voice.
“What is it?”
Just like seven months ago in that waiting room, the world stopped spinning when you heard JJ’s words. You sat like a statue as she recounted the events, from Emily’s transfer to Paris to the team taking down Doyle at last.
When you were unresponsive for too long, JJ gently touched your hand.
“Emily is alive?” you ask for confirmation, not believing what you heard.
“Yes.”

Your steps from the runway into the office were quick and frantic, even JJ had to try to keep up with you. Through the glass doors of the office, you made eye contact with Hotch.
“Emily’s alive? Where is she? Is she here?”
Hotch didn’t answer your rapid-fire questions, but he swiftly led you into his office. Your heart was beating out of your chest and you could hear each pump of blood.
The figure in the room turned around and you gasped when your eyes met brown ones that you thought you would never see again. The Emily that stood before you had small changes in her appearance, but she was still your beloved Emily.
Emily approached you slowly, as one might approach a scared puppy.
“Y/N.”
You let out a sob, diving forward and pulling Emily into your embrace. She held you, tenderly stroking your hair as you cried into her neck. Tears sprang into Emily’s eyes as she felt her heart begin to mend having you in her arms.
“I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry…” Emily repeated softly. “I had to keep us safe until Doyle was captured. I’m so sorry I had to leave you, and that I had to lie to you.”
You shook your head, pulling away slightly to see her face.
“You had no choice, I understand. I’m just glad you’re here. I thought I lost you for good.”
“You’ll never lose me again,” Emily wiped a tear from your cheek. “These past seven months have been hell without you. All I could think about was how rocky our relationship had been in the months before I left. I promise you that I won’t let us go back to that. It’s not going to be easy, and I have a lot of issues to work through, but I’m going to put in the work. I trust you wholeheartedly, Y/N.”
You smile at her words, feeling that things will be different this time around.
“That means a lot to me, Em.”
Emily tucked a strand of hair behind your ear, cradling your chin in her hand.
“Let’s go home, okay?”
“Let’s go home.”

A loud crash came from the kitchen, followed by hushed giggles. Kendra shot up, rubbing away the sleep in her eyes as she turned to look at her phone. Four thirty am. It was early. Too early for anyone to be up. She looked to her side to find Othello blissfully unaware of the world. He grumbled something unintelligible as she got up, his hand reaching over the mattress, before immediately turning back on his side and beginning to snore. Idiot.
She ambled down the hallway, keeping a hand against the wall to steady herself. The faint light coming from the kitchen wasn't enough to guide her. Dragging her feet along the floor as she pushed her sleep-ridden hair out of her face and into a heap on the top of her head.
“No! It’s gotta be like this!” Insisted a small voice.
“Nuh uh. You have to mix it before you do that.”A bossy voice demanded.
“She’s right, it’ll get lumpy like that.” Came another.
She finished tying her hair and strolled around the corner to find three small children mixing together a mash of flour, sugar and berries in a large bowl on the floor. They were covered in batter and various ingredients, licking their hands each time they got dirtied from the mess. A step stool lay sideways on the floor, abandoned in their haste. She stayed silent as she watched them, her annoyance melting away. Of all the things to get woken up to, this was better than she had anticipated. “Busy?” she whispered.
“Real busy makin pancakes mom.” Her daughter whispered back, almost instinctively.
“I can see that.”
“Ok, can you go back to sleep…Wait -mom?”
She waved and picked up the closest two. “ Let’s get cleaned up and then I’ll help yeah?”
“Moooom, he's not being nice OR listening to me.” Her daughter pouted from the floor.
She set the two next to the sink and picked up her daughter. “ Were you being nice to him?’
“...Yes?”
“Mhm. There's your answer.”
She washed off the chunky batter and dried each of their heads before putting the bowl on the counter. After eying it suspiciously she shrugged and dumped in more flour to make the thin, curdley concoction somewhat appetizing. Her daughter watched, her hair wrapped in a kitchen towel.
“Can I help?” She mumbled quietly, wringing her hands together.
She hummed in response, moving the bowl closer so her daughter could stir the batter without having to move. Her daughter took the spatula and began to use her whole body to mix the clumpy mess of pancake batter.
“I gotta question mom.” she said suddenly, hovering over the bowl.
"Is it, why am I awake at four in the morning making pancakes without a recipe?” Kendra said, taking the spatula to scrape the edges and properly mix the batter.
“No, that's a bad question.” She said matter of factly, “ How did you know that you loved papa?”
She paused, pressing her lips into a thin smile. “ Why do you want to know? ”
Her daughter shrugged, looking at her expectantly. When Kendra didn't answer immediately, she grabbed the spatula back and began mixing again furiously.
“Well we had an uh- a complicated first meeting, but over time I got to know him better and we fell in love.”
Her daughter rolled her eyes, “ Well yeah, duh. I wanna know when you knew you loved him.”
Kendra took a deep breath, “ It’s kind of hard to understand.” She finally said, “ Especially for you little stinker.”
Her daughter giggled as she booped her nose, “ That’s ok mama. I wanna hear it.” She said earnestly.
“Just because you asked so nicely. So, you know how sometimes it's really annoying when your brothers sit around and sleep all day sometimes? And how they don’t take showers sometimes because they don’t think they have too?”
Her daughter wrinkled her nose and nodded fervently. “ Uh huh!”
“But then when you ask to play with them, they get up and take showers because they know it’ll make you happy? And you feel all warm inside but you don’t really know why. So you push the feeling away and focus on the little time that your brothers will spend with you, even if sometimes it's not even fun?
Well that's what it was like for me. You’re papa made an effort and I appreciated that. He changed so it would make me, and him, happier. And that's how I knew I was in love.”
Her daughter frowned, “ You didn’t say when you knew.”
“I didn’t.” She said honestly. “ It was, how do I say this?” She paused, looking outside the window of the farm house, the sun peeking over the edge of the field.
“It was almost like a sunrise. Like how when the world is all dark, then the sun creeps over the horizon. It's easy to ignore at first, but as the sun continues to rise it gets harder and harder to stay in the dark. It’s bright, and it looks scary. You just spent all night in the dark, because it’s nice and cool there, comfortable. You don’t want to leave what you’ve always known. But there’s nothing you can do to stop the sun.
So you sit and watch it crawl over the land. It moves slowly. Almost too slow to seem like it’s even moving. Then suddenly you blink and the world is bathed in light. And the cold and darkness of the night is washed away. The sun is blazing and the world is the brightest it’s ever been and suddenly- suddenly you realize. It’s nice in the sun.
I didn’t fall in love over one small thing like in the movies. Honestly, I didn’t even know what was happening. Just like the sunset, I blinked and realized just how much he brought into my life. Does that make sense?”
Her daughter blinked slowly. “ But you saw the sun before, and night always comes again, and there's cloudy days and rainy days and-”
“ Don’t think too hard, it’s just a metaphor. When the night comes again, you look up and see the moon. It’s not nearly as bright as the sun, but there's still light. You still know it's there, it’s just much more simple. Love doesn’t need to be a burning sun all the time. If it was, it wouldn’t be worth it, like a heat wave in summer. You think you love summer time, but when it’s the middle of July you just wish it would rain.
Or like shadows. Even though the sun is super bright, it makes shadows. There's patches of dark in the light, and that’s ok. It’s not as scary as it seems. I promise. You just trust that everything will work out.” She booped her nose again, “ You gotta wait for a while before you understand all this little lady.”
Her face twisted in thought as she stared at the “pancakes” grilling on the stove.
“Don’t think about it too much, kay?”
Her daughter didn’t get a chance to respond before Othello himself walked into the kitchen, two small boys in his arms. “ You made pancakes for me?” He said warily, his eyes lighting up when he saw Kendra. “ Oh everyone’s in here.”
Their daughter ran to him. “ Papa! When did you know you loved mom?”
He paused, staring at her for a second before confidently answering. “ I don’t think I have an answer for that princess.”
“Mom had a crazy answer! Something about it being super slow and then all at once.” She paused, “You got a lame answer.”
He blinked a few times, looking at Kendra. She shrugged and gestured to the kids crowded around him.
“I guess I realized it when I knew that I wanted to be better. That she made me want to be who I was before all sorts of crazy stuff happened in my life. She made me happier or-”
‘What kinds of crazy stuff?” said a small voice.
“You’ll learn when you’re older, bud.” Kendra said quickly
He paused, meeting her eye from across the kitchen, “ She made me want to live.” He said slowly, carefully, as though the words were unfamiliar in his mouth, like he was saying them aloud for the first time, “ She saved me.”
He held her gaze a few seconds longer before suddenly grabbing all three of the small bodies, squishing them close. “ And that my friends is why I took your mom from the street one night.”
All three faces whipped between her and Othello.
“ YOU KIDNAPPED MOM?!”
“I just knew she was someone worth keeping around..” He grinned.
“Is that true?” her daughter screeched, running back to Kendra.
She shrugged.
The other two jumped up and ran to Kendra. “ My dad’s a kidnapper!”
“I won’t let you leave either!” He boomed, scooping them up into his arms and squeezing them tighter. “ You’re mine!”
Kendra scooted closer and he opened his arms to fit her into the pile.
“All mine.”

Best Spring Break Ever (Eddie Munson)
Tumblr media
Summary: Spring Break 1986, the way it should have gone.
Word Count: 3.2k
Characters: Eddie Munson, Corroded Coffin (Jeff, Gareth, Dave - Unnamed Freak), Dustin Henderson, Mike Wheeler, Lucas Sinclair, Will Byers, Wayne Munson
Themes/Warnings: No Upside-Down AU, Road Trip, Lighthearted, Boys Will Be Boys in the purest way possible, Nerd, Pop Culture References, one or two sneaky little references to Store Manager Verse (I had to)
Note: So a LONG TIME AGO I dropped a fun head canon that got lost to the cutthroat nature of the tags. It's not necessarily coming back to life per se but and now that I've promised @br0ck-eddie and @somnambulic-thing that I would do more Gen fics, I'm sort of giving it some more juice.
Gonna also use this for @munson-blurbs and @corroded-hellfire and their Flip Flopped Summer Writing event. (I cheated on the length, sue me.)
Enjoy!
You can find my masterlist here.
Please do not interact if you are not 18+.

When one thought of words to describe Edward J. Munson, there were plenty to choose from.
Daring, dashing, brilliant, handsome--
"Douchebag," Gareth muttered under his breath.
"Can it, asshole," Eddie snapped from the driver's seat of the van, angling the rearview mirror so he could pin the younger boy with a scathing look. "Or I'll leave you behind."
"He's got a point though," Dave offered. The rearview mirror shifted again, revealing dark brown eyes that narrowed angrily.
"Sorry," Dave sunk in his seat.
--adventurous, non-conformist, a music legend...
But carpool mom had never been a contender.
Until now.
For Eddie, Spring Breaks were never exciting.
A lot of families in Hawkins took the days off school to go out of town. Vacation to someplace interesting or warm, trips up to the beach, or to a distant grandparent's house for a visit.
Eddie always stayed home. He enjoyed the silence of the town and the freedom to go anywhere and do anything he'd like. Wayne picked up some overtime while some of his coworkers were away, so there were a handful of extra hours for Eddie to play his music as loudly as he wanted, and some extra cash to splurge on a few nights of takeout.
This year was different though.
This year, Eddie had the misfortune of being friend, older brother figure, and role model to Dustin Henderson and his band of merry nerds.
The four of whom decided to enter into the All-State Science Fair in May with a project so ambitious and convoluted, they were either going to crash and burn, or get some kind of scholarship long before they needed to think of college.
And of course, when the time came to gather supplies for such an...extensive endeavor, the lowly freshman came to their good pal Eddie to help them procure some interesting items.
That was the thing with Eddie, though. He was sort of known for being the guy that could find things. Yeah, weed and other drugs from Reefer Rick, sure. But the phrases "I know a guy" and "I can try and cash in a favor" and "you owe me one" often passed through his lips, followed by a glint in his eye and a quirk of his lips.
For weeks he got the little idiots various items for their project, but when things on the list began to seem impossible to find--Rick had practically thrown him out when he had asked where to get liquid nitrogen--things started to get a little tricky.
Eddie, not one to let his friends down, complained about the whole ordeal to a friend he had unexpectedly made working at StarCourt over the past Summer--the Claire's store manager--and she had an interesting suggestion.
"Why don't you just go to the Science Surplus store in Chicago?" Eddie looked at her like she'd grown a second head. "What? Don't let the Cool Mall Girl facade fool you. I'd been known to dabble in science fairs and stuff when I was still in school."
"Nerd," he snorted before he waved for her to continue.
She told him about lab coats and machine parts and mystery boxes.
"It might be fun for you and your friends to drive up there and see it."
Thus, the Great Spring Break Roadtrip of '86 was born.
---
Well, more accurately, it was the Great Secret Spring Break Roadtrip of '86.
Because what parent--specifically Claudia Henderson--was going to let their kid spend a few days with no parental supervision? Where the only adult, technically, was Eddie.
She liked him, of course. Shit, most of the kids' parents liked him. But trust him to drive their kids hundreds of miles in a van that looked like it probably wasn't gonna make it 10 miles up the road?
That was another story.
But he was a schmoozer, a sweet-talker, a charmer, and in the end he got them all to agree to a few days up at the Dunes hiking and swimming and grilling hot dogs over an open fire.
If only the parents had been his harshest critics.
"When was the last time you had your brakes checked?"
"And your oil changed?"
"I heard some squeaking when you drove us home from Hellfire. I think there's something going on with your suspension."
"When did you become my pit crew?" Eddie snapped as he leaned against the front of the van and smoked the last cigarette he would have until they stopped for gas along the way.
Dustin, Mike, Will, and Lucas all froze in place. The older members of Hellfire Club leaned their heads out of the van to watch the interaction like the relentless busybodies that they were. Eddie flicked the butt of his cigarette to the ground before approaching the kids with his hands on his hips.
"We just wanna make sure it's safe," Mike was the first to speak up.
"It's safe," Eddie insisted. "I checked everything myself; Wayne wouldn't let me cross state lines if I hadn't."
Mike considered it for a second, then jumped into the van.
Dustin hummed doubtfully and kicked at one of the rear tires.
"Do you have a spare tire?" he questioned. "Just in case?"
Eddie nodded and even offered how to show everyone how to change a tire if the need ever rose.
"Gotta earn your keep somehow."
He mashed his hand on the top of Dustin's head as he passed.
Lucas and Will were last; they had their backs to him, heads leant together as they whispered conspiratorially. Eddie wondered for a moment if they even wanted to go--it was ok if they were scared--until they pivoted on their heels and began a barrage of questions about handling and off-roading and how prepared he was for any emergencies.
He was about to snap at them, tell them to shut up, when he saw a rolled up copy of Car and Driver in Lucas' hand and his brief annoyance faded.
He took a deep breath and stared up into the clear blue sky, begging whatever gods or devils there were to give him the patience to survive this trip.
"Listen," he huffed, "you either trust me and we go, or you don't and we stay. Even if I didn't have a stocked first aid kit--which, I don't, by the way...best you're gonna get are some crumpled band-aids in my glove box--it's not like we have all the time in the world to put one together.
"I promise. Everything will be fine. You trust me right?"
Lucas and Will turned away from him and whispered furiously once more. Before they stood up straight, looked him dead in the eye, and asked something that made Eddie let out a bark of laughter,
"What about Second Breakfast?"
---
They stopped for gas an hour in.
What should have been a ten minute stop turned into an hour. Bathroom breaks all around and then debates over which snacks to get.
"Don't waste all your money," Eddie fussed over them, pulling bags of candies and chips from their hands and stuffing them back onto shelves. "You're not gonna eat it all for one thing. And I'm not gonna clean puke out of my van if you try and end up making yourselves sick."
Suddenly the four freshman were all talking over each other with "mom never lets me have funyuns" and "what if we get the smaller bag?" Jeff, Gareth, and Dave all snickered and watched from afar as Eddie taught them The Art of Gas Station Snacks.
By hour two, the radio stations became unfamiliar, Eddie's mix tapes got boring, and slug bug was impossible. That's when everyone began fighting over the road map to play navigator, even though Eddie insisted that it was Jeff's job, since he called shotgun. But no one cared, especially not when--
"Hey I know our cover is camping at the beach," Mike piped up from the back. "But we're actually going to pass the Dunes. Can we go?"
Some of the others started to agree, mentioning how their moms packed their swim trunks.
"Hey!" Eddie snapped at them and then reached back to jam a finger into the map. "We passed the exit already. Better luck next time."
"But how about on the way back?" Dave suggested. "It's getting too crowded in here. A little fresh air would be nice."
And Eddie would have fought them, the thing was...he kind of agreed with Dave.
The members of Corroded Coffin were used to just the four of them and their band equipment. Now there were seven of them, on top of all their backpacks and sleeping bags, Eddie's guitar, and a cooler full of snacks and drinks. There was too much noise, too much arguing. One absolutely rancid fart had been tooted without admittance, which led to everyone just ripping one without a care in the world.
On the other hand, did he really want to have to clean sand out of the van once this trip was over?
"Alright," he finally shouted over the others, causing them to quiet down. "If everyone behaves the rest of the way, we'll see about making a stop at the Dunes on the way back."
---
Their accommodations that first night were less than ideal.
Rick had mentioned something once about forest preserves and camp sites once when he'd driven up to Chicago to meet up with some fishing buddies. So Eddie figured renting a campsite would be fun, not to mention cheaper than a motel. They'd sleep under the stars, just like he'd promised all of their parents, grill some hot dogs and roast marshmallows for s'mores.
It would be great.
But building a campfire was harder than it looked--especially when you had six sets of eyes on you--the ground was hard to sleep on, and then at some point in the night, a storm rolled in and they all had to pile into the van to stay dry.
Chalk it up to Murphy's Law.
"Should have sprung for a cabin instead," Jeff joked as they all struggled to fit in the back of the van after they all sought shelter inside.
Come morning, they were all tired and sore and grumpy, and Eddie drove through McDonalds for steaming hot hash browns and egg mcmuffins to shut them all up.
Then they finally reached their true destination.
The American Science and Surplus Center was an unassuming building in a busy suburb north of the city. Busier than Hawkins, at least. Eddie had to drive around the block several times before he realized the entrance was in the back of the building, gravel parking lot and all.
As soon as they set foot inside, it was a sensory overload, but it felt like home.
Colorful signs everywhere, aisles filled with bins of bottles and beakers and corks and machine parts. There was a man who looked like he stepped out of Doctor Who by the cash register, and about a dozen lab skeletons situated around the perimeter of the store dressed to look like famous scientists.
All of the boys scattered once they picked their jaws up off the floor and they, quite literally, spent hours scouring the store finding one amazing thing after another.
Dave and Jeff went to the back corner where there was a display of army surplus. Garerth found an entire aisle dedicated to models and kits. Eddie walked around picking up things at random. Things that just seemed interesting and weird, his imagination putting different bits and bobs together to create mini figures for mechanical foes for the next--and maybe last--campaign he created as the DM for Hellfire.
It was a bittersweet moment for him.
And the kids? Well, they were either the worst customers in the world or the best. They were running around, throwing things into baskets, trying to figure out how much of this or that they needed for their project.
This was a once in a lifetime trip so they were determined to get everything they needed now.
Of course, that ended up causing a problem. Because there was only one of a certain item on their shopping list and Dustin wasn't the only person to grab it.
Eddie heard the commotion before he saw it.
"I need this."
"So do I."
"I touched it first."
"Well I saw it first. Finders keepers."
The other freshman were quick to jump into the verbal tousle, disrupting everyone in the store, and Eddie was quick to abandon his own shopping to go and see what was wrong.
Only to find the dweebiest tug of war on the planet: His four little sheepies versus three equally dorky-looking boys. It was a flurry of gangly limbs, sweaty hands, mom-provided haircuts, and pressed khakis as they argued over the one thing all of the kids seemed to need for their respective projects.
Eddie figured it was better to intervene before someone got a nosebleed from stress.
"Hey guys, cut it out, what are we arguing for?"
"Who's this?" the apparent leader of the other kids snapped. "The barber shop is down the street if you need a haircut Bon Jovi."
"Alright Revenge of the Nerds, calm down," Eddie snapped. "Just trying to make sure this doesn't end in a bloodbath. What's going on here?"
"We need that air pump," Dustin nodded down to the box he was holding onto for dear life.
"Well so do we. And we saw it first."
The kids started talking over each other again until Eddie whistled sharply.
"How about," he suggested and dug into one of his pockets and pulled out a shiny quarter, "we flip a coin?"
"No way!"
"No chance!"
"This air pump is ours," the rival nerd scoffed.
"What if we just beat you up and took it?" came a voice the next aisle over. Eddie glanced over his shoulder and shot daggers at his nosy friends.
"Not helping Jeff!" he hissed and turned back to the kids. "It's either a coin toss or nothing."
Eventually, both groups agreed, and Dustin was even gracious enough to let the other kids call it. Eddie flicked the coin into the air, the nerd called heads, and then time seemed to slow.
Eddie's thoughts raced through all of the possibilities. He really couldn't give a shit about these other nerds but...damn they deserved a fair shot at it. And his friends...he didn't want them to come all this way just for disappointment.
There was a clink as the coin hit the ground and bounced.
Then another clink.
Then a clatter as it landed.
Tails.
---
Another hour passed victoriously in the science surplus store and everyone's mood went up exponentially.
Eddie spent a little extra cash to get a soldering iron that he found in a clearance bin. Dustin and Lucas got to explain their whole project to the wannabe timelord, who was excited at the prospect of flash freezing ice cream. Not to mention Dave, who flirted with the evening manager as she came in for her shift; he even got her number, the lucky schmuck.
The sun was setting by the time they made it back outside, chattering happily about their finds, but they stopped in their tracks as they found the rival nerd standing near the van with a tall, polished boy in a letterman jacket beside him.
"This them?" the jock asked the younger boy.
"Yeah," he glared at them all and then pointed at Mike. "And that's the one who flipped me off."
Eddie could feel Mike tensing beside him--obviously regretting what he had done in the throes of victory--and he took a step forward, hands held in front of him to show he meant no harm.
"Hey guys listen," he started. "What are we doing here? What's fair is fair. We flipped a coin."
"My brother said it was rigged," the jock accused.
Eddie snorted, "how could I possibly rig a coin toss? Here I'll even show you the quarter."
The jock, curious, took a step forward, despite his brother whining for him to "just beat them up already."
Eddie shoved a hand in the pocket of his jacket and rooted around for a moment, before swiping his sneakered foot across the ground, sending gravel and sand and whatever else made up the parking lot into the two boys' faces.
"Go, go, get in the van," he hollered to his friends, who immediately crossed the lot and piled into the vehicle.
Once the doors were locked and the key was in the ignition, they all hollered in triumph, Gareth even yelling for Dave to "hit 'em with the pressed ham" as they pulled out of the parking lot.
And Eddie wondered if it was cowardly for them to have done what they did. For him to have done that.
He didn't want to be known as the guy who ran from trouble.
But hearing his friends' laughter, knowing their safety was ensured, he figured that sometimes running away was ok.
---
Dinner was reminiscent of something out of a heroic legend.
The IHOP off Route 64 had become a mead hall with drinks sloshing over the edges of cups and laughter and cheers in abundance as they regaled each other with more fantastical versions of the non-existent battle they'd just survived.
As though Eddie had been Beowulf and his foe the dastardly Grendel.
"He had to be 7 feet tall," Lucas awed. "And like...400 pounds."
"I'm never worrying about Jason Carver beating me up again if we survived that guy," Mike agreed.
"You're gonna have to fail again this year so you can stick around and protect us Ed. At least until I graduate," Gareth told Eddie, who protested that he didn't even do anything.
Then everyone erupted into a good-hearted merriment again.
Eddie felt a little bad for the waitress who would clean up after them, but he couldn't do anything to stop his friends joy and excitement.
Instead, he left a very generous tip once they left.
Their second night of camping was much more successful than the first. There were no attempts at a fire and no s'mores to be had, but Eddie broke out his guitar and strummed some familiar songs that had everyone asleep in no time.
Almost everyone.
He stayed up for a little longer though, smoking and staring up at the sky through the canopy of the trees. There was something special being out here, and he wondered if all of the heroes in his favorite stories felt like that, seeing all of their companions safe and asleep under their watch and the watch of the stars above.
There was a rustle of a sleeping bag and Dustin looked over at Eddie with bleary eyes.
"Why're you still up?" he asked. "Gotta take a dump or something?"
Eddie snorted and crushed the butt of his cigarette underfoot.
"Just thinking," he waved a hand dismissively. "Get back to sleep. Gotta drive back in the morning, and we need to hit the road early if you guys still wanna go to the beach."
He was about to take his own advice and settle into his sleeping bag when Dustin called his name again.
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"I dunno," there was another rustle as Dustin shrugged. "For driving us out here, for getting all of the stuff we've been asking you to get, for protecting us...for being our friend."
"Don't mention it Henderson," Eddie smiled warmly. "What else was I gonna do? Let you guys lose the science fair."
"It's more than that."
"I'm sure that Harrington would've helped you if I hadn't."
"Steve's a cool guy but seriously," Dustin insisted. "He wouldn't have done all of this for us."
Eddie didn't know how to answer that, so he just hummed and closed his eyes.
The last thing he heard before he fell asleep, to dreams of guitar solos and bats and epic adventures...
"Best Spring Break Ever."
