hello, elli! how are you doing? i'm always very impressed by your builds, you seem to craft them very carefully and you definitely have an amazing eye for detail. there's lots of small touches that make them feel alive/realistic and they have a warm atmosphere that really appeals to me. because of that, i'd like to ask you if you have any tips when it comes to building and finding inspiration. oh, i almost forgot, i'd love to have your last builds and its residents when you reach the milestone!
Hiya!! this is such a sweet ask and the ideas are brewing in my head so you get a dissertation under the cut :D (ps ily you made my day HEHE)
ALRIGHT! so first of all a little context, i've been building since i got the sims 3 alll the way back in 2011. i think. i was 7, couldn't speak or even understand english yet and my game was stuck in it so for a very long time i was just doing whatever and most of the time it.... sucked! I got the sims 4 back in 2014 with the mac release, and back in the day the build mode was revolutionary so i spent a lot of my time in there. For me building is fun, i know a lot of people who see it as frustrating and timeconsuming and while it can be- it can also be very enjoyable in the right setting.
first of all, style changes a lot and my builds look different every year! the style i've been building in now only really started in 2021/2022 with this build:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
now for some tips:
there's a lot of ways to get inspiration, but my favourite and most useful is pinterest! i have a board full of exterior and interior designs, some i use for vibes and others i follow very closely, i find using references (just like you might for sims) helps a ton when trying to build something realistic. Also think magazines like architectural digest, design blogs on tumblr, youtube home viewings, other video games, tv shows etc. When i'm building for DFM i like to keep Stranger Things, Gone Home and Bones And All in mind as inspiration, and when i build the house in this post for @literalite's Dgwicf i referenced the house from Bosch.
Along with that comes inspo from other builders on Simblr. Go and look at your fav builds, what makes them stand out to you? how can you incorporate that into your own builds? what do you need to be able to do that? One thing i did a lot while learning was watching speed builds; and i mean the REAL kind not the stop motion ones despite them being weirdly satisfying lmao. Ones with a good voiceover help too. Seeing someone actually build makes it a lot easier to figure out more complicated building styles.
One thing i like to do is to build through storytelling. I personally mostly build for sets, so then i like to consider what the viewer needs to see to be able to understand a character without having to know them, where you are/live says a lot about you! But for gameplay it works similarly. Ask yourself questions; who lives here, what is this lot used for, how much money do they have, where is this set, does this match the rest of the neighbourhood/town. If building many lots for something like a story or save file, i like to make a pinterest board for the town vibes too.
Technically, i think there's two main tips for making a build look nice in this specific style. Landscaping and Clutter! i actually think landscaping is the most important part of building as it ties the entire thing together; even if its just three trees in a planter pot. Don't forget about terrain painting either! this one's hard to learn if you never do it but i'd say start out with the softest but largest brush option and kind of airbrush some dirt/gravel around the lot and add a little extra dirt underneath houses and roads. Last tip; if you struggle with roofing there's lots of tutorials on youtube, or you could just choose builds that have less roofs.
i have no idea how to explain how to clutter but you could walk around your house to look for stuff you'd normally clean up if someone would come over. add that into your build :) think trash, laundry, study materials, craft projects, little random nicknacks, cooking supplies, etc. sometimes i go through my clutter folders and just put everything i want to use in one room and distribute it later once the furniture is in!
so uhmmm,,, i hope this was helpful lemme know!! have fun building and don't forget to take snack breaks... sugar helps hehe

Hello!
So I'll get straight to the point but make everything I wanna say clear!
I am 18+ Male and will NOT roleplay with anyone below the age of 18. If you want to know my exact age I can tell you in dms if you ask for it.
I am looking SPECIFICALLY for a stranger things roleplay, however I am looking for something within the nature of Oc x cc or oc x oc. Will gladly do Cc x Cc if we double up. While I do encourage double ups so we both get what we want it is not absolutely neccesary!
I love dark themes as it is stranger things, but if you have triggers or limits we will discuss them BEFOREHAND.
If we do double up or you decide to play a CC I am looking for rather obscure characters I've never roleplayed against and most people don't ask for; these being Barb, Eden and Carol, with possibly a platonic one with Angelica of a character possibly helping her grow as a person. Generally I want something unique and new we can both sink our teeth in and explore. HOWEVER! I am also heavily looking for a Nancy as I've also never roleplayed against her.
^^^^^ Also despite all that do NOT be discouraged if you want to do Oc x oc as I am really lacking in oc/oc roleplays and whether it be romantically or as friends I woild be in love with the idea of our Ocs interacting. It's also new and unique.
I do MxF, MxM though I prefer feminine characters. Happy and moreeeee than willing to do FxF for double ups!!
I am literate to novella but am extremely adaptable. HOWEVER I do ask you atleast do two paragraphs(ten sentences) and have good grammar. Doesn't need to be perfect because I fumble too and english isn't my first language.
I am relatively active! So if you can be active too that'd be awesome, but if not it's fine as I am patient. However I would be lying if I said I didn't prefer at minimum 1 response a day. If not then to be honest it's fine!
I love gushing about the characters on BOTH sides whether we double or not and likely I will make pinterest boards, spotify playlists, memes and everything that comes with all that good stuff.
!!IMPORTANT!! we will not be a good fit if you cannot vibe with me. I want this to be fun and entertaining, but also not feel like a business transaction. If you and I don't get along then it is what it is, but just be aware reading this that I like OOC.
Like this and I will reach out!!!
Again, limits and triggers will be discussed in dms! Do NOT be afraid to tell me what you like and don't like, I am the least judgemental person you'll meet.
My discord is _sxl_ so you can also just add me there if you don't want to wait for me to dm you.

Hiya, I’m Ina, 31 and brand new to 1x1, indie, non-group roleplaying. I’m a multi para/literate writer/roleplayer (around 200+ words), focused primarily on character/dynamic development then plot. I’m in the GMT+2 timezone and would prefer if potential partners are also in that timezone or close to it but it’s not a priority. I tend to be a rapid-reply/rapid-thread roleplayer where we write back to back, which is why I mentioned that. I'm also quite active and am looking for other active partners. I won't pair up with people who can only log on every two days or only twice a week, sorry! I'm on every Monday-Thursday mornings into afternoon as well as Friday mornings and early afternoons. Not available on weekends though.
I’m looking for long-term rp partners who are interested in original characters and original plots. I’m not the biggest fandom roleplayer, though I wouldn’t mind doing some writing around fandoms. I have too many to list, but Supernatural (series), Sleepy Hollow (series), Once Upon a Time, Manifest (series), etc are all some I like. Feel free to ask if I’m interested in something not listed. Other than that, when it comes to original plots, I’m into supernatural/paranormal stuff (selective with this though), magical surrealism, slice-of-life with tons of angst and drama, darker mystery/town stuff, some history depending on time period. What I’d have to give a hard no to would be vampires and werewolves, as well as zombies - it’s just not my thing to be honest. Also anything crime-related - unless it’s something like supernatural with crime sort of mixed into it? Like investigating a supernatural mystery or something. Otherwise, anything having to do with cartels, gangs, motorcycle clubs etc., I’ll have to pass on. Also, I lean more towards non-canon.
Just some FYI I guess...
I’m selective and I prefer private 1x1 rp only and by private, I mean I’ll make a tumblr page completely dedicated to that sole character where I’ll be posting my replies/threads, etc. which leads me to say, I don’t roleplay on mumu blogs, discord or any other service, I’m strictly tumblr dash/sideblog for my muse[s]. I really like having a sole place for my musings for that character, as well as self-paras etc. and I really enjoy using faceclaims/gifs. :)
In regards to maturity, I’m totally comfortable with substance abuse, alcohol, violence, smut and so on. Just a word on smut though, I’ll only write it once a connection between our characters has been established and once we’ve done several threads. There needs to be an emotional connection there. It’s not my number one priority but I will need a partner[s] who’s comfortable with smut because there’s just no avoiding that with me and my muses, oops. But yeah, plot before smut I guess.
Some dynamics I really love are any kind of angsty romantic stuff, strained family/friend plots, frenemies forced to work together, two strangers with a random thing in common that they can rely on each other to talk about/relate to. Honestly there’s so many, feel free to check out my 1x1 info or plots tag on my personal to see what I'm into. I just love depth, richness, layers, drama, angst, tension, all of that good stuff.
Some random info before I finally close this up! I only play older faceclaims, anywhere from around 28 yrs. and up, I typically write males who are in their mid 30s to early 40s. I only write M/F though I’ve dabbled in some F/F and won’t mind that either, so yes, I do play females as well and I love to play them but I often lean towards writing males. Nothing more than that though. I can get really enthused and all in with characters and plots etc. (playlists, videos, manips, pinterest boards, etc) so I’d love it if potential partners were the same. I really dislike it when I become super invested and partners are sort of just ‘meh’. Anyway, other than that, I don’t think I have anything else to add. I have more info with plots I’d love to explore, faceclaim lists that I’ll play or play against, etc. on my personal tumblr @nckken
Hope to hear back!

💀  * [ ella purnell + demi female + she/her ] —— have you met judith ‘jude’ loski? they are a twenty-one year old junior currently studying fine arts. they live on farrow house, and word around campus is that this capricorn is creative + magnetic, as well as contradictory + morbid. i wonder if they’ll make it out alive. a skull pattern stained onto fine china, flowers plucked too soon, red wine staining the seam of your lips.  [ ooc: pepper. twenty four. she/her & est. ]
ABOUT THE MUN.  hey baby, hey baby, hey baby, hey baby, here’s twenty dollars!
hello it is pepper again with my second muse because i have no self control. depending on whether or not i can handle this amount of muses i might drop one but for now i am hype!! i have had jude living rent free in my head for like ??? a year at least, and this is the first time i’ve gotten to play her so i’m living large! the entire inspiration behind her is inspired by my creative writing teacher in uni so this is a shout out to you jen i love you!! okay that is all.
BIO.  kidnapping tw, death tw, child neglect tw. holiday candles that smell just like your years as a feral child in the forest!
i was gonna write a nice sexy bio but honestly my brain is offline rn so i don’t think that’s gonna happen, instead, welcome to these sexy bullet points.
judith evianna loski was born approximately two minutes prior to her twin sister juliette elenora loski during a frightful blizzard in londan, england. while judith popped out of her mother kicking and screaming bloody murder from day one, moment one, juliette was a docile baby. she was so sweet and quiet that the doctor’s had to check her breathing more than once. while, of course jude made her presence, and her posession of a working set of lungs and killer set of vocal chords, known to everyone within a ten kilometre radius. let’s just say the loskis knew the difference between their daughters instantly.
which was fine. jude and julie liked being different anyways. where jude was colour coded green, julie was colour coded blue. while julie was always thrilled at the prospect of a new dress or doll, jude was known for covering such gifts in mud or paint until they were utterly recognizable or suitably ruined. where julie was sweet, and quiet, and shy, jude could fill a room with just her presence, could make a friend in a sea of strangers. the fact was, jude always had what julie lacked, and for the most part vice versa. they fit together like two puzzle pieces, and they complimented each other perfectly. and despite their differences, both their parents adored them unconditionally, and equally for the first six years of their lives.
which of course meant the girls were spoiled rotten. how could they not be? damon loski was an english gentleman coming from very old, very lucrative oil money. he ran his business like a hobby and yet the loskis still had more than enough money to buy an island or two, especially considering annette’s status. annette loski was a french photographer, and a talented one at that. her work was desperately sought after and world renowned for it’s beauty, and so in her own right, annette was more than well off. and thus, the twins were more than well off, and even if they couldn’t quite understand the concept of that yet, they definitely understood that they could have whatever they wanted just by asking for it. they understood that wherever they went they were to be accompanied by a nice man or woman who was supposed to keep them safe. and they understood that because of mummy and daddy’s jobs they weren’t allowed to play like the other kids did. but as young as jude and julie were they never truly understood why.
that was until three weeks after the girl’s sixth birthday. jude remembers the whole thing like it was yesterday. it was snowing that day and it was that thick puffy snow that made everything seem quiet, the kind that made it hard to see too far ahead on the path you were trekking. the loski twins had taken advantage of the weather to slip between the fingers of their caretaker for the first time and go to the local park. their escape with thrilling, a game of espionage turned reality and the two girls basked in their victory as they made snow angels and twirled and twirled in the snow. that was the day jude had set out to swing higher than she ever had before and demanded that julie watch. and her sweet sister, as submissive as she was, had never quite learned how to say no to jude. so while jude swung and swung and swung, julie stood and watched her from across the park by herself, eyes wide and innocent as she warmed up her numb fingers with her breath. until she wasn’t. alone that is. jude remembers spotting the woman approaching julie. she remember seeing them talking. she remembers the warm clouds her own breath made, almost in sync with the breaths huffing past her sisters lips, foggy up the air before her eyes and obscuring her view. she remembers julie taking the woman’s hand. she remembers the two of them moving to leave the park. and she will never forget that heart stopping moment of quiet, of confusion and fear as her swing slowly came to a stop. she remembers losing julie in the blur of the snow that day.
eventually the police found jude huddled under a tree a block away, still calling her sister’s name into that eerily quiet snow storm, blue lipped and half frozen to death as she shook like a leaf. jude came out of that experience with phemonia. julie didn’t come out of that experience at all.
well, in all honesty there was no way for the loski’s to know that. after all, they never saw julie again. for all jude knew, her sister could be alive and well, living a new happy life where she had no memory of having a sister. where she had a family that was whole for no reason other than she doesn’t remember it falling apart, and where she loved and was loved in return. it was always so easy to love julie. so honestly, it was entirely possible.
jude would like to believe that was true. even if in that scenario it would undoubtedly mean that jude got the short end of the stick.
you see, after julie’s kidnapping anette and damon’s marriage fell to pieces over the years. the trauma of losing a child can do that to you, you know. during that time, as her parents bond splintered apart at the seams, jude remembers hearing her grandmother tell her mother to keep it together for jude. to stick out out for the child she had left.
her mother left them both in the middle of the night without warning less than a week later. so, jude supposes she wasn’t quite enough to hold things together.
jude might have been comforted by the fact that she still had her father if he could even look her in the eye. the fact was, jude looked exactly like julie and julie and jude were always both told they were dead ringers for their mother. jude was a physical reminder of literally everything her father had lost, and he didn’t take that quite well. suddenly damon’s hobby of a job became his life. anything to not be home with his ghost of a daughter.
now the doom and gloom of all this might make it seem like jude took all this trauma and just got really down in the dumps about it. that would be incorrect. jude took that trauma, buried it very deep and only ever used it to fuel her art but otherwise completely ignored it altogether. there’s a difference. one option requires years of therapy and the other can be dealt with pretty easily with years of denial, even if you’re forced to go to therapy anyways because your twin sister was kidnapped in front of you and that kind of thing generally gets you a ticket to therapy for life. very different.
jude isn’t sure if it was that trauma, her parents name, the fact that the news of her sister’s kidnapping was pretty spread all over europe for about a month, or even unlikely enough her talent that launched her art career, but something did. maybe it was a combination of everything. but either way, jude loski was able to find herself with her own small art gallery opening at the tender age of thirteen. and her success in the art world only grew from their, her art galleries and portfolio growing and growing until the point that jude was able to find herself with a place at holloway. and considering there wasn’t much left for her in england anyways, considering her father barely spoke to her and her mother was gone like the wind, jude decided to go.
and that’s all i got for now, and also i’m tired but if you want to plot give this a like and i will slide into your dms.
HEADCANNONS.  *aggressively makes tea*
here is her pinterest board.
do not call her judy,
hates her birthday and hates snow storms understandably. is a big fan of rain though. particularly enjoys thunder storms.
is allergic to bees but is super chill about it. had an allergic reaction when she was fourteen that her dad was too busy on a business call to notice was happening. the nanny ended up being the one to stab her with the epipen.
has pretty bad nightmares and night terrors sometimes and hence generally likes to sleep when the sun is out if she sleeps at all. because of that she tends to seem pretty nocturnal. you can probably catch her at the library in the middle of the night.
loves weird little knicknacks. like voodoo dolls and like shrunken heads or like other weird stuff you find in the corners of antique shops and stuff. her side of her dorm is probably full of them so rip to her roommate.
really loves skulls and other modern kind of contradictory things on fine china. learnt to make the designs herself cause there isn’t nearly enough of them, but she just does it for herself as a hobby like she doesn’t sell them or anything.
learnt to weld on a whim. catch jude in her dorm welding things to make sculptures out of metal.
bisexual as hell theydies.
spent a lot of her teenage years with her godmother but i’m too tired to get into that rn i might add to this later
loves poetry and novels, but likes the flowery shit yk, the stuff that makes you feel something.
is a good student for the most part but is horrible in math and science. sits in on english and classics courses for fun though.
is v english and therefore very particular about her tea.
i do headcannon that julie is fine and okay and just living that finding carter life so if anyone was wondering yeah she’s out there somewhere and alive with a new kidnapper mom yk
a bit witchy. the kind who washes her door in rosemary and sunwater because she believes in that kind of thing and doesn’t understand why people don’t. that said, she doesn’t believe in god even a little bit but she goes to church every sunday anyways just to admire the stained glass and ask very specific questions to spark debate. she also just genuinely likes the vibe of jesus. not god, but jesus, she’s cool with.
unfortunately is a dirty smoker. smokes nicotine and weed. probably vapes.
the type to quote poetry when she’s drunk or high. can be very annoying because she always thinks that she’s like transcended into another world.
i have a feeling in my heart that she’s really bizarre and she was really bizarre as a child after losing julie. big lilo from lilo and stitch vibes yk. just weird and sentimental and lonely.
has a pet rabbit named julius.
doesn’t tend to talk about her dead missing sister so unless you think your muse would know about it she probably wouldn’t tell them i’m ngl
as for personality i have no clue!!! this is my first time playing her so i’m gonna figure it out yk
WANTED CONNECTIONS. I kinda need a hug but I’d rather DIE than let anyone know I am a human being that desperately craves intimacy
CHILDHOOD FRIEND. please. they can be from anywhere okay i will make it work i live for childhood friend connections.
ENEMIES. i mean why not
BEST FRIENDS. again, pls.
CONFIDANTES. someone she trusts, we love to see it
EXES. i have a feeling that jude is one of those ‘i’m gonna leave before you leave me’ kind of people, so she definitely could have self sabotaged this kind of thing
MUSE. self explanatory but consider this: please.
CRUSH. jude has a crush on your muse or vice versa
FAMILY FRIEND. self explanatory, but it could be wild that’s all i’m saying.
and other stuff ofc, but my brain is so tired y’all i have to knock out

*   //   𝙻𝙾𝙰𝙳𝙸𝙽𝙶  𝙿𝚁𝙾𝙵𝙸𝙻𝙴 …   /𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙲𝙾𝙽𝙼𝙰𝙽/𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙳𝙸𝚂𝚃𝚁𝙰𝙲𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽 : umeko saito, also known as hermes, is wanted for grand larceny. she is a twenty two year old female who has ties to the mastermind because of a charity event she was the face of.   𝙰𝚂𝚂𝙾𝙲𝙸𝙰𝚃𝙴𝙳 𝚆𝙸𝚃𝙷  : expensive fancy dresses, flirty stares from across the room, signing with red lipstick, a glass of champagne with diamonds in it. 𝙳𝙾 𝙽𝙾𝚃 𝙼𝙸𝚂𝚃𝙰𝙺𝙴 𝙵𝙾𝚁  : minatozaki sana.
01.    background info.
pinterest board ─── umeko saito, twenty two, up-and-coming actress, doesn’t like to label her orientation, would definitely be part of cherry twitter
full list of aesthetics so far ( core to what shaped her ) : eating fruit on a balcony in your silk pyjamas, signing with red lipstick, strap of your dress snapping, flirty stares from across the room, a glass of champagne with diamonds in it, cherries seductively held between lips, expensive fancy dresses
umeko was born and raised into one of the most expensive neighborhoods in manhattan, daughter to a magnate and a socialité nobody thought would get too far together. luxury was the norm from the get go, and the low profile kept by her parents didn’t quite make their name go unnoticed among the elite of new york. summers were spent in the hamptons and on expensive trips, walk-in wardrobe stranger to everything below high-end and glasses of champagne coming in early
stardom was always in the back of her head. she loves being the center of attention, all eyes on her for as long as she can attrack them, and so the hunger only grew bigger the older she got. in her young, twisted mind, there wasn’t anything more eternal than the ineradicable link between character and actor, and she loves playing the role. the first real taste of fame came only a few years ago, and it became insatiable almost insantly. she’s been on the rise ever since and has scored quite a few big roles to be proud of
j came into the picture at a point in umeko’s life where she was having fun, but it wasn’t enough. something more exciting, more thrilling was missing. and so they met at a charity event where rich people feel like they’re contributing something to society by bidding big money for famous paintings where umeko was one of the faces of said event. she did not hesitate to join him. after all, it makes her feel like she’s playing an even bigger, more dangerous role
her code name has a lot to do with her as a person ! as a lil taste before getting to it, initially, it was going to be loki, the most infamous trickster, but she felt it gave too much away too fast, and although she felt it was the perfect code name, she opted for someone whose trickster label got overshadowed by more important duties, and so it came to be hermes, who, in a way, is also perfect for her
02.    personality breakdown.
umeko is........ an experience. she may be fun she may be chaotic
umeko saito’s biggest role is life itself, and she will die a legend or risk becoming a fraud. she was born yearning for attention, and she was born a trickster. she has always been manipulative, loved fooling and playing with people and twisting the narrative of herself, enamouring ( trapping ) others, a strange desire to be the dream girl. and she took it upon herself to make the world her personal stage. and maybe she has played the role for so long she has lost a bit of herself on the way, who knows !
everybody’s sweetheart, looks like a saint ─── yet is the devil holding a halo above their head. she loves to stir shit up, always up to something. won’t hesitate to create a scene if it’s needed, asked of her or solely because she’s bored. a lot of her boils down to being, getting bored. she’s a bit batshit, a bit unhinged <3
umeko is flirty. she likes to flirt, it’s fun, it’s another way to fool people, it’s entertaining, it feeds onto this being the girl of people’s dreams thing. it gets her things and opens ways for her, and she thrives off getting people hooked on her, specially men who think they got a chance with her ( they don’t )
she acts like a bimbo and surely looks like it but may not be one. or maybe she is. she could be a baby bimbo. an oblivious bimbo who plays the role of bimbo in real life. you decide because i can’t JKDGVDS
she’s dramatic to the v bone in more ways than one, loves bringing attention to herself and playing dumb, playing clumsy, an airhead, and she’s a bit of everything ( dumb, clumsy, airhead ), but she knows how to exaggerate it to her gain. u won’t catch her calling herself any of that tho
there really isn’t a big scheme, a big story, a trauma behind umeko’s behavior, some people are simply born certain way and she thrives off being this antagonistic, trickster being just because
03.    headcanons.
she lives by herself in a duplex penthouse located on the top floor somewhere in manhattan, she bought it with her first big paycheck. she also has a smaller ( to...... her standards ) apartment she got for her 18th birthday from her parents, and it’s where she takes flings or people who aren’t that close to her as not to disclose her real home
she’s the type to break the strap of her dress before walking out of a store with paparazzis waiting outside for her and pose like she’s marilyn monroe fighting against a burst of air with her white dress, and she’s like “omg no ! the strap of my snapped ! what to do ! don’t take pics or maybe do aha x”
most definitely checks tabloids and stuff after she pulls one of those numbers to grab attention so she can see the reactions And the pics. also probably has a neat instagram feed
she’s the epitome of “all girls do is 🥺🥺🥺🥺” and “girls always trynna ‘🥺🥺🥺‘ their way out of everything”. that’s her
loves cute two pieces pyjamas. silk ones, velvet ones, lace ones, and especially the see-through robes with fur you pair up with cute lingerie and pieces. when at home she’s usually in those, long robe big fur glass of wine in hand, and if not she’s wearing an expensive baddie dress she has no business wearing for no reason
she enjoys dating on and off, having flings, random sex. usually nothing too serious and without too many strings to get tangled in. would she be able to commit ? yes, probably, she daydreams about it sometimes, but it wouldn’t be so easy
despite umeko’s passion for creating a scene and stirring up the pot, she isn’t mean, nor is she someone who is found in conflicts or fights often, if at all. she tends to get along well with everyone ─── she’s playful, a bit crazy, and fairly outgoing. she’s nice despite all her antics. but there is one person that brings out the worst of her, though: nandy freda richardson, fellow new york city socialité with a shared feud going twenty years strong ! they have known each other since they were little and it has kept escalating ever since 💔 it ranges from petty, insignificant antics to more serious, real shit stuff. the catalyst ? nandy somehow managing to make umeko lose a minor role on a small movie she was really anticipating. umeko’s response ? selling her out to aspen when he came asking for more intel on rich people he could rob: she gave him all the information he needed, carefully crafted a foolproof plan then gifted aspen an all - expenses luxury vacation to a destination of his choice <3 umeko was like yeah ? ok i lose my role and you lose your safety money and that one of a kind dress i wanted aha x
when she was sixteen her then boyfriend cheated on her with some chick. the lad pulled the infamous move of playing single and messing with the girl’s heart, so she was unaware of their relationship and was left as mortified as umeko. umeko, though, felt humiliated and, above everything, disrespected, and she also felt for the other girl who was just as much a victim as herself. so umeko made sure he regretted even thinking of disgracing their worth and set for revenge: over the span of a few years she snatched five consecutive girlfriends, one after the other <3 she also kept a good relationship with the girl he cheated on her with

Seeking Literate, Active, and Dedicated Partners
Hello, you can call me Doe! I’m in my 20s, a student, and a proud cat mom. I write multiple paragraphs/novella style (200-500+ words). I love to write detailed descriptions and delve into a character’s head/emotions as well as surroundings. I compare it to writing a novel together. I understand if the scene doesn’t have alot going on and therefore requires less like rapid fire. I adore having long, thoughtful replies where we truly immerse ourselves in the world. I’m hoping to find a partner whose as enthusiastic and passionate about the plot and writing as I am. When I get invested in a story, it’s 100% dedication. Getting a reply is the highlight of my day. I’m a big fan of romance and using face claims. I’m the type to make pinterest boards, spam you with gifs, headcanons, and send you songs that remind me of our characters and/or ship. I’ll get excited if we come up with a great plot idea or if our characters are being cute or going to get into trouble. I live for this kind of stuff honestly. Last but not least I only do MxF and don’t double, but I’m more than happy to write side characters of either gender to help move the story along. I’d prefer female authors writing male characters but male writers are fine too. Desperately Searching For - 21+ partners - For you to have an excellent grasp of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and capitalization. Both in character and out of character. (Literate to advanced writers only, please. I’m not looking for newbies). - Plot before smut. While mature themes will be in my plots, and are even encouraged, there needs to be a good chemistry between our characters. I like to have a good mix of plot and tastefully written smut, along with doses of angst and fluff. - For you to write as an older male (Late 30s-40+). I’m a sucker for the gruff and tough men who secretly have a soft heart. I also love those grumpy, hypermasculine men being intimidated by darling, soft yet commanding, and pretty women. - The more description, the better! I’m looking for someone can write as much as me (2 to 4 paragraphs or more) and really bring the story to life. I lose interest if I’m the only one that’s invested/enthusiastic or coming up with plot ideas. Quality writing makes my heart happy, as does world building together. - The use of real life face claims and joining me in the wonderful world of ship/character development isn’t a requirement but I’d sure be delighted if we were on the same page in this regard. (I won’t use anime faces, only art if you’re uncomfortable with real life) - Someone who won’t leave without warning or explanation after sending the first post. I’m looking for the long term here, and I have been greatly saddened by how many partners have left me high and dry recently. If you’ve made it this far, thank you! You won’t be disappointed in writing with me. I tend to be online daily and I’d like it if you were too. Please let me know if you’re going to be inactive, long days/weeks of silence make me nervous. Below are genres and pairings I love. Feel free to combine two or more and I’m sure we can come up with something great! Genres: - anything mafia related - crimes in remote locations - small towns and supernatural happenings - post apocalyptic/dystopia - supernatural/modern fantasy (werewolves, shapeshifters, a/b/o dynamic and everything that comes with it, monster x hunter) - southern/mid western/gothic - murder mystery (small town or big city) - western inspired - modern/dark fairy tale retellings - sci-fi/cyberpunk - little coastal towns or little towns in the mountains - emotionally charged/dark and gritty - superpowers/gifted - unresolved sexual tension/slow burn - mythology (modern / hades x persephone) - redemption - action - fake dating - pacific northwest - suburban gothic Pairings: - age gaps (older man x younger woman) - enemies to lovers - cop x criminal - doctor x patient - friends turned lovers/pining - grumpy x sunshine - the broken man x the woman that becomes his light - fbi agents/cop partners - dark hearted man melting for the innocent woman - reunited old lovers and/or friends - boss x employee - neighbors - firefighter/cop x victim - mentor x mentee - spies - hurt/comfort - height differences - pet names - lady and the tramp esque - creature x human (I’m seeking werewolf/werelion humanoids in some cases and am always up for NSFW things while in their beast form) - ex-con x anyone - detective x witness - detective x suspect - person in witness protection x anyone - bodyguard x assignment - widow/er falling in love again Tropes: the papa wolf (craving), badass baritone, cultured badass, jerk with a heart of gold. ladykiller in love, mountain man, mysterious protector, southern gentleman, tall, dark, and handsome, gentleman criminal Plot Ideas: (these are just suggestions and if you have other ideas I’d like to hear them) 1. age gap + height difference + modern supernatural + werewolf x human + dark hearted man melting for the innocent woman A mentor x mentee pairing where the mentee has been a victim of some sorts and that’s why they’re taken under the wing of the mentor. I’m picturing a guy capable of towering over most men and also knocking most men out, but with a soft spot (that takes a bit to uncover) for his mentee. He’s a retired hitman, but such profession is nothing you can retire from. He’s living out in a small town, keeping to himself and being the local town grump. Something happens to her, something horrible that makes her want to do something even though she is normally the sunshine in everyone’s life, and through contacts she is given the address to a man who can teach her. (more to the plot available upon request) 2. age gap + spy x spy + modern supernatural + werewolf x coyote shapeshifter He has already been secretly hired by the US government to investigate this mysterious, new criminal organization. It would be at her first mission and already aware she will be working alongside a more experienced, freelancer agent. We could start with them meeting at the airport and we can go from there. 3. Muse A is a infamous criminal and Muse B is a FBI agent. Muse B has been helping Muse A take out their competition. They could kill each other but would die for each other. (Based on The Blacklist) 4. werewolf x dog shifter + age gap + unresolved sexual tension + cop x criminal A local man is accused of a murder he didn’t commit. (when actually someone or something else did and everyone assumes he was guilty because he was already a criminal before). A deputy believes in his innocence and aids him in his quest, to find the real killer. They fall in love along the way, a bond formed due to them both being outsiders in one way or another. Fandoms: (Will only do oc x oc/characters inspired by canon pairings) Star Wars, X Files, Haven, The Blacklist, Fringe, Zoo, Stranger Things, Heroes, The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead, Mercy Thompson Series, True Blood, Stephen King’s Universes, Red Dead Redemption, Marvel (Last but not least, I have a list of kinks if anyone’s interested) I use email and discord to write. Contact me at [email protected] or Doe#4017. If you add me using the latter, let me know where you came from. Look forward to hearing from you!

autumnal asks
I reblogged this last week and I’m finally in the mood to actually do this.
“This” being purge out all the things I’ve never said out loud, feel like I say too much, and just pretty much in between, while listening to  listen to Ari Lennox , SiR, and Snoh Aalegra.
lantern - how did you meet your best friend? What were your first impressions of each other? - I met my best friend through a mutual friend in the 8th grade or right after it, I’m not sure. My first impression was “Wow, this girl has a personality. Not in the “Oh! She’s so funny.” No i mean, this girl has opinions, and their different than mine. Man, she has these views and she has them so much conviction." She is intimidating and I’m not sure if I’m ready for this >.>
Turns out I did, we would wax and we would wane, and now my faith in our relationship is as strong as my belief in the moon always making her way back to us.
frost - if you could give some advice to your younger self, what would you say? - don’t wait, just do it. be selfish, it’s okay to want what you want. you’ll always find a way so don’t be scared to leave. be diligent in your relationships, be that family or friends. you don’t know when they’ll need you or you’ll need that person. let people know you love them. don’t be scared, don’t worry, be young, want, love, but continue to trust your gut, it’s always (99.99999%) right.
maple - is there a hobby / skill that you’ve always wanted to try but never did? - man, ha. Uhm, I guess archery. I’ve loved it since i was 8 and i watch inuyasha with my cousin for the first time on vacation in Applevalley, CA.
harvest - what fictional character do you most identify with? Why? - Ooh, that’s tough.. I feel like I find myself in all the heroines I read about. If I had to choose though, I’d certainly say at this time, Emi from the Red Winter Trilogy by Annette Marie.
*oh shit, slide away by miley cyrus just came on. it’s lit.
fireside - if you had your dream wardrobe, what would it look like? - ooooooh, {((>,<))} such a colorful variety, but only like 50% the other 50% needs to be my neutrals (black, grey, white, and more black.) So I’d have jackets and hoodies upon themselves, LOTS of denim, a pair of overalls, tees, sweaters, crop tops, high-waisted errthang. off the shoulders shirts, blouses whatever. belts -i never have any of these and i have no idea why,- but yeah it be easier to just look at my pinterest board lol
cider - a food that you disliked as a child but now enjoy? - mmm, honey mustard. that’s a condiment i know. truly though, it was a breakthrough.
amber - share an unpopular opinion that you may have. - yeeeeeeekkkkk, i think gender roles are okay as like an outline, but then once you have your kid and he/she starts having opinions you can swap out things or trash it who cares for what your child feels comfortable, and your family supportive.
fog - how well do you think you’d do in a zombie apocalypse scenario? - dawg. i feel like given the right resources, i’d do okay. def steal a truck/suv, grab my crew, and drive out to the country and stay on a farm or some shit.
jack-o-lantern - if you could look like any celebrity, who would you choose? wellll, zendaya. I’ve heard i favor her and i don’t all the way see it but if i really could have those brows and face structure, yeesh. imma be stuck up.
spice - have you ever encountered a house that you believed to be haunted? - my elementary school had this story about the basement being haunted from a custodian killing her. and i was dared to use the restroom down there. i def got the bottom step and straight hustled out that mufucka.
orchard - share one thing that you’d like to happen this autumn. -i’d like to feel connected. that blissed out feeling of the breeze coming over your body on that cool day, but with a person.
crow - which school subject do you wish you had an aptitude for? - wish? hmm, language. had i felt more comfortable i may have went into college for some writing/ communications major from the start.
bonfire - describe your dream house. - too long. but here’s go killing time. dark green, black accents covering the exterior. a beautiful front porch, yes with the swing. gorgeous deck for entertaining, back yard with fence but 3 good and full trees to provide more privacy from the neighbors, toward the back so that way on the deck i can see the sky and moon at night. inside.. a mud room from the 2 car garage at the end of the mud room to the side the laundry room complete with shelves for the washing/drying items and hangers for the the gentles. in the opposite direction you walk into a spacious kitchen. complete with a double over, sitting on top of each other, large cabinets that at as the pantry, cabinets on cabinets on cabinet space. a fun but elegant back splash. the island/breakfast bar. deep double sinks, stretching into the living room just this is getting way to detailed and i’ll finish the rest. but bottom line. great vanities in my bathrooms, 2 upstairs, a half bath down stairs. (yes 2 stories and finished basement which also has a half.) 4 bedrooms master connected to bathroom with huge claw bath. another for the kids (2-3) if no 3rd kid forth room is an office/ we use for reading, writing all dat. you know what this is my dream so regardless of children i will have this. filled with lots of laughter, love, smiles, talks, discussions, advice, and understanding.
cinnamon - if you had to live in a time period different than the present, which would you choose and where? - man, i would say something crazy like oh with the samurais and shit and then have to remember women have always had it rough everywhere and we still do! and add that on to the fact that i am color? not really bout it. but it women right’s were the same. i would go back the edo period, or when america bounced back from the depression. oh wait i wanna avoid all the WW’s... yeah every time period had their hangups.
cobweb - (if you’ve graduated) do you miss high school? - nah, i really just miss the responsibilities. they truly weren’t anything.
cranberry - what’s one physical feature that you get complimented on? my hair.
maize - share the weirdest encounter you’ve had with a stranger on the street. - i’m not sure about strange, that gives it a negative feel to me. but on my 25th birthday i was drunk downtown with my friends and while walking back to the car i heard this guy (the stranger) talking about sauske (from naruto, clearly) was the greatest character in the series, and i just yell out “sauske’s a bitch.” dude took it in stride and was saying how come? and i proceed to have this existential conversation on the street at like 3 am about naruto. NARUTO. it was like a dream come true. but definitely the most random.
quilt - how do you take your tea (or coffee)? - coffee, a quarter of it needs to be creamer (flavored preferably) with 2 sugars. tea, i am surprisingly starting to put cream in it, like that only 1-2 sugars. without 2-3 sugars. I like my stuff sweet, sue me?
pumpkin - do you think that humans are inherently good or bad?  -this is tough. i guess since we are born “in sin” we are inherently bad? we’re taught in life what our morals are and what things we shouldn’t do.
moonlit - are you a neat or messy person? Is your room / house orderly? - eat, neat, neat. if messy it is a organized chaos. my house is orderly now i just got done cleaning before i took a shower and started this.
flannel - have you ever gone on a bad date? - yesssssssssssssss. yes. yes. he was sooo fine too. like just great looking. still love looking at him on instagram attractive. but he was just so materialistic and judge mental. he still shoots his shot from time to time and i be like... should i? then i’m like nah, he always annoys you when you do.
cocoa - if you could have any type of hair, what colour and cut would you have?- and it be natural? i love to be a natural red hed. i think they are just bombshells. i know they get the fire crotch jokes growing up but i’m skipping that phase. and cut? i think i would keep a medium borderline bob hair cut.
ghost - is there someone that you miss having in your life? - i don’t miss anyone that ... wait i miss my penguin girl. but i was going to say that the person i miss in moments like this is someone i’ve haven’t met yet.

8 Practical and Proven Ways You Can Get More Views on Your Medium Blog
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Every new blogger has the exact same problem.
No one. Reads. Our stuff.
Once you have a little attention, you have something to build on. People start talking, and the rest is history.
But those first thousand readers are tough.
If you’re smart, you’ll start with who you know; but for most of us, that well runs dry at around 100 folks.
So where do you go from there?
One great option is a website called Medium.
Medium is a massive community with thousands of bloggers and millions of readers.
I’ve attracted hundreds of new readers to my blog by posting on Medium. It’s easy and fun. So in this post, I’ll show you how to do it too.
First things first, I’ll teach you the basics — how to create an account and start posting.
If you already know that stuff, click here to jump to hyperspace (you’ll pop out for the advanced strategies further down this post).
How to Start a Blog on Medium
First, you’ll need a free account.
Posting on Medium is absolutely free. Just go to Medium.com and click “Sign In/Sign Up” at the top right corner.
Then, you’ll need something to post.
One of my favorite things about Medium is the content you post doesn’t have to be original to the site.
By that I mean, you can write something, share it on your blog, and repost it on Medium — killing two birds with one stone.
I personally repost all my blogs on Medium.
Finally, you’ll need something to persuade people to join your email list.
Remember, our goal is to get more people reading your blog. And the best way to do that is getting readers on an email list.
Then, every time you post something new, you can send an email reminding them to check it out.
(If you don’t currently have an email list, we recommend ConvertKit because it’s so simple to use.)
But before you can get people on an email list, you need to give them a compelling reason to sign up. This free giveaway is often called a lead magnet.
It can be a short ebook, a checklist, a video training, an assessment — whatever you think your ideal readers will want to sign up for.
Here’s what I use on Medium:
Once you have these three things, you’re ready to start posting. Just click “Write a story” in the top right.
Drafts save automatically. You don’t have to publish in one sitting. When you get back, just click your picture and then click “Stories.” You’ll find the post under “Drafts.”
When you’re proofread and ready to go, click publish and start broadcasting your writing to a new group of readers.
That’s how easy it is to start publishing on Medium. Writers who take this strategy seriously have been known to build email lists of over 100,000 readers in just a few years (or sooner).
If those are the results you’re looking for, you’ll need some pro-level tactics.
8 Pro Tips to Get More Views on Your Medium Blog
I don’t claim to perfectly understand the Medium algorithm, so what follows is my imperfect opinion. But it’s based on my personal experience of growing on Medium and the advice of close friends who are wildly popular on the platform.
On the surface, Medium works a little like Twitter. People follow you, and when they do, your posts appear in their feeds.
The best way to gain followers is writing good posts, but you can take a few shortcuts if you know about them.
1. Connect your social media accounts for automatic Medium followers
Under account settings, you’ll find a section where you can connect your Twitter and Facebook accounts to your Medium account.
Here’s what’s crazy…
When you connect the accounts, take Twitter for example, Medium will automatically convert your Twitter followers into Medium followers (the ones who have a Medium account).
I had my Copybot partner Jesse do this and look what happened…
Here’s before he linked the accounts.
And here’s after…
Honestly, I can’t believe Medium does this. But it totally works and it’s free followers.
Plus, people who follow you on Twitter tend to be targeted followers since they’ve already expressed an interest in what you have to say.
If your Twitter account is already connected, not to fear. Just disconnect it and reconnect it. I do that every few months.
2. Get in a publication
You can write a viral Medium blog post even if you have very few followers. The secret?
Get in a publication.
Publications are more or less to Medium what group boards are to Pinterest. They have their own followers (sometimes several hundred thousand), and multiple contributors can write to those followers.
Similar to guest posting, you get published in a publication by pitching the editor.
Publications are expected to provide way more content than the average blog, so they’re generally open to quality new writers.
If you have a personal connection or know someone who does, start with those editors.
If you don’t, you can email some pitches. Always start by familiarizing yourself with the publication so you can make an informed pitch.
Look for publications that have the attention of your target readers. And remember, the bigger the publication, the better for you. But don’t be afraid to start small and work your way up as you gain a bigger presence on the platform.
Don’t like emailing strangers? I get that, but you need to get this…
My first six Medium blog posts (not in a publication) got a COMBINED 48 views.
When my 7th post was accepted into a popular publication, I got almost 11,000 views for that ONE post.
I also grew my email list by roughly 300 people.
3. Have friends recommend your posts and comment on them
One of the coolest features of Medium is the one click recommend. When a reader clicks the little green heart on your post, they’re endorsing it to their followers and to the Medium algorithm.
I don’t think it’s exactly like a retweet, but the general rule is, more recommends means more people will see your post.
The easiest way to get quick recommends? Send the post to your friends. A great strategy is to collaborate with a few other Medium writers by reading and recommending each other’s posts.
Two of my friends who are huge on Medium also think the number of comments on a post impacts how much Medium will show it. So you should ask your friends to comment and encourage comments in the post.
4. Share your posts on social media
Sharing on social media and encouraging other people to share adds a little bump to your Medium traffic. Obviously, this is also true of posts on your blog, but Medium traffic leads to recommends, which can lead to way more traffic.
Simply put, you’re more likely to go viral with a Medium blog post than on your own blog.
Which is why you might want to…
5. Consider mailing to your Medium posts
If you already have an email list, consider sending your traffic to Medium instead of your blog, since your odds of going viral are much higher on Medium.
One of the biggest writers on Medium used this trick, and it helped him get over 100K subscribers in roughly two years.
6. Recommend your own posts
This is a drop in the bucket, but you can click your own heart. And despite what you might think, I’ve watched a writer with over 160K Medium followers still use this little hack.
7. Use a winning headline template
Remember, no matter how good your post is, bad headlines repel views.
So obsess over your headline. Always come up with a few options and pick the best one.
Lists and how-to headlines do very well on Medium. But they’re not your only option.
My friend Dave Schools wrote an awesome post called “The 60 Most Recommended Medium Stories of All Time.”
Reference that post when you’re picking your next Medium headline.
8. Tag your posts
Before you publish a post or submit it to a publication, you can add up to 5 tags. Tagging a post makes it more likely to be seen by people who follow those tags (it’s kind of like a hashtag).
So when you write a post, tagging will help you reach targeted readers who are more likely to enjoy and recommend your writing.
If at first, you don’t succeed…
Medium takes work. You are not guaranteed anything. But in my opinion, it’s one of the simplest games to play when you’re building a following online.
Medium has produced huge email lists, profitable book deals, and a new scene of influencers. It’s a great way for bloggers to get noticed and grow their reach.
My first six posts did jack squat on Medium. Now I get roughly 200 recommends per post.
So don’t give up after one try.
And remember, the tips you’ve read can get you more views, but it’s up to the post to turn those views into recommends. So keep improving your writing.
We have a free resource below to help you write the kind of posts that hold attention online.

Reflections on 32
This year marks the end of my 32nd trip around the sun. What can I say about it? This trip has definitely been a roller coaster ride. I was born into a country where I enjoy many freedoms that I take for granted everyday. I have seen and done things that most people will NEVER be able to see or do in their lifetimes. I have traveled to different countries, and tasted exotic foods that some people can only dream about. I owned my own home by the time I was 20 (with the help of my very wonderful husband). I tripped and fell into a job that I love and wants me to succeed so much that they will even pay for my degree. I have a pretty dysfunctional family that I love even though they are crazy. I have friends that love me despite my flaws, and I them. Through all this, life tossed out some crazy curves containing loss and death. Most people my age have not experienced death on the same scale I have. Usually by age 32 you’ve lost grandparents and great uncles but death has still left you fairly unscathed. Not to say that the death of grandparents and great uncles are not horrible losses of course..
I have learned so many lessons about life and love in my 32 years. I have discovered things about myself that I am not proud of, and learned how to love myself anyway. I have paid thousands of dollars in therapy to learn to love people for who they are and not to put so many expectations on others. I have had faith and lost it. I have had friends and lost them. I have had dreams and lost them. I have had plans and changed them. I have finally learned the lesson that my grandmother tried so hard to teach me when I was a stupid teenager.
Life is hard. Life is short.
So what else have I learned about myself and my life in 32 years?
I’m a cat person. 100%.
Halloween is the BEST holiday.
After age 30, I’m too old to “rough it”. Toss the tents and rent a hotel.
I like my coffee with cream, and without sugar.
Cigarettes... GOD I miss cigarettes.
I am loud and obnoxious and I can’t stop myself!
I want to be thin... but I have ZERO motivation to do so.
I hate being a homeowner.
I’m not afraid of hurricanes, but I’m terrified of tornadoes.
I am a mermaid.
I have zero desire to be a mother, and I’m not really a fan of children.
I want to live in California one day.
I might be one of those “Disney People”.
I hate Texas.
Adulting is better with booze.
Anxiety sucks.
Sitting around a bonfire laughing with my best friend is the best medicine.
Dentists aren’t that bad after all..
I try, but I’m a terrible listener.
My photographs are the only possession that matters.
I am naive to lies when they come from people I love.
The Bostonian accent is the sexiest.
Don’t bother throwing your gum away in a proper trash receptacle. I have never thrown my gum on the street, yet I am constantly stepping in it. Or getting it stuck to my car.. or in my car... or on my ass from a toilet seat (true story).
I’m sensitive AF.
I can learn to like any song if I hear it enough (but don’t tell my best friend that).
Football is the only sport that matters.
I think I would have enjoyed cocaine had I ever tried it.
My first love will always be in my heart.
I’m addicted to my cell phone. I’m not proud of it.
Having OCD, ADD, and GAD is not a good combination, but it’s better than being bipolar!
LGBT+ rights are HUMAN rights.
Being morbid is actually more normal than you think.
Hot tubs will make you drunker.. faster.
Politics are boring.
Don’t tell me where you buried the bodies. All a police office will have to do is look at me and I will rat you out so fast.
I hate clubbing. Give me a good dive bar and a karaoke list.
I am straight, but only like 80/20.
I talk about poop at inappropriate times.
Pinterest is just a place to OCD all over the internet. My boards are straight up perfection.
Catered events make me nervous. I always need to be at the front of that buffet line in case they run out of that chicken ala deliciousness.
I have carpophobia. It’s weird. Look it up.
I have zero patience.
If I cry after 5pm, I wake up looking like a bubble eye goldfish the next morning.
Tattoos are addicting, and I need MORE!
Ever since texting became a thing, I have zero tolerance for people calling me.
I should have experimented with my hair when I was younger.
I always admit when the fart is mine. Then no one will blame you for ones that really aren’t yours!
I can remember anything if I learn it in a song. Countries, state capitals, bones, presidents...
I can be creative when I’m using a computer only. Actual arts & crafts? Nope.
Backstreet Boys, *Nsync, Brittany were “lame” when I was in middle school, but now they are AWESOME.
White chocolate is unnatural.
I get kind of crazy when people interrupt my shows without letting me pause it first. Same with songs.
Don’t play games with people. Just be straight forward and watch how much time you save.
Drinking a shit ton of alcohol, acting like an ass, and passing out on the toilet is NOT cool. Enjoying a few glasses of wine and getting up the next day feeling great IS cool. *I’ve learned this but I forget it sometimes*
Don’t procrastinate. Get the important stuff out of the way and THEN slack off.
No one wants to see your old photos. No one. But I’m STILL going to make you look at them!
Making friends in your 30′s is a lot like dating. Do they like me? Should I wait to call them? What if they don’t like my shirt?
Breathing techniques are bullshit.
It’s ok to schedule sex with your partner. It actually shows that you are making time for them, and that they are a priority.
I would rather buy a brand new house then EVER go through another remodel.
People that thought you were lame in high school don’t give a fuck how cool you are now. Let it go.
Christmas as an adult sucks. Why do I have to spend my money on other people?!
I learn by watching, not by reading.
I’m terrified of drowning inside a vehicle.
When I lived overseas, I should have traveled more.
Friendships that you thought would last forever WILL die.
Tailgating is much more fun as a responsible adult. I actually plan and prepare food, tables, napkins... When I was younger, I was usually too hungover from the night before to get prepared for anything. We had chairs and beers.
I’m fascinated by serial killers.
I need to take TONS of pictures! Pictures of people, houses, pets, vacation... In this digital age they barely even take up any space.
I like my men tall and emaciated like heroin addicts. Eye liner is always a plus.
I’m a super fan girl. It’s embarrassing.
My brain literally is made up of useless song lyrics.
Clothes and shoes might not always fit me, but purses always will.
I cannot just “like something”. I have to obsess over it and tattoo it on my body.
I have only enough confidence in myself to write a blog that strangers can see, but not actual acquaintances or friends.
No matter how crazy Mariah Carey gets, she will “always be my baby”.
The beach is the only place that I can turn my brain off.
I want to be liked. It KILLS me when people don’t like me.
Be the crazy camera lady.
Laughing at myself makes life easier.
Your parents do/did all the things they have told you not to.
If you like something and others think it’s lame.. fuck ‘em.
I hate school. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.
I don’t like suspense movies. They make me too anxious.
Blood does not make you family. Love does.
There is ALWAYS going to be someone out there with the same crazy as me!
I’m sick of having insight into my flaws, because then I am always expected to change and no one else is.
No one cares if you shop at Wal-Mart. Save that money you thrifty devil you!
I can’t pick favorites. Movies, songs, actors, foods.... nothing.
Inanimate objects DO have feelings, and should be named whenever possible.
Live music and theater are some of the best ways to spend the day.
Pay the extra for someone else to do things for you, Life is too short to waste it on things you hate doing.
When on a cruise (or other vacations) , there is no shame in drinking mimosas at 7 am.
DO NOT WORK RETAIL.
Never Facebook live while intoxicated.
Do not waste time on internet trolls.
And last but certainly not least:  Always be good to your bartenders.
Now obviously none of this is meant to be  advice for anyone. They are just things I have learned about myself or my own “words to live by”. Some people love roughing it, and may hate the theater. Some people love school and can find fulfilling lives in retail. That’s fine! It’s YOUR life. Live it YOUR way.
additions:
Semi-permanent hair dye in midnight amethyst may sounds like a good idea at the time, but it is not to be trusted.

Seeking Literate and Dedicated Partners!
Hello, you can call me Doe! I'm in my 20s, a student, and a proud cat mom. I'm hoping to find a partner whose as enthusiastic and passionate about the plot and writing as I am. When I get invested in a story, it’s 100% dedication. Getting a reply is the highlight of my day. I'm a big fan of romance and using face claims. I’m the type to make pinterest boards, spam you with gifs, headcanons, and send you songs that remind me of our characters and/or ship. I'll get excited if we come up with a great plot idea or if our characters are being cute or going to get into trouble. I live for this kind of stuff honestly. Last but not least I only do MxF (with myself in the female role) and don’t double, but I’m more than happy to write side characters of either gender to help move the story along. I'd highly prefer female authors writing male characters as I've had too many bad encounters with male writers and at this point I'm uncomfortable with it. Sorry guys! Desperately Searching For - 21+ partners - For you to have an excellent grasp of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and capitalization. Both in character and out of character. While mature themes will be in my plots, and are even encouraged, there needs to be a good chemistry between our characters. I like to have a good mix of plot and tastefully written smut, along with doses of angst and fluff. - For you to write as an older male (Late 30s-40+/50+). I'm a sucker for the gruff and tough men who secretly have a soft heart. I also love those grumpy, hypermasculine men being intimidated by darling, soft yet commanding, and pretty women. - The more description, the better! I'm looking for someone can write as much as me (2 to 4 paragraphs or more) and really bring the story to life. I lose interest if I'm the only one that's invested/enthusiastic or coming up with plot ideas. Quality writing makes my heart happy, as does world building together. - The use of real life face claims and joining me in the wonderful world of ship/character development isn't a requirement but I'd sure be delighted if we were on the same page in this regard. 8 Practical and Proven Ways You Can Get More Views on Your Medium Blog
6 Pro Tips to Get More Views on Your Medium Blog

8 Practical and Proven Ways You Can Get More Views on Your Medium Blog
6 Pro Tips to Get More Views on Your Medium Blog
