It's so funny when my ancient 'stop saying dwarves dug too greedily' post hits some new untapped sphere of tumblr. WITHOUT FAIL someone will claim 'Gandalf ghostwrote this', often with that exact phrase used, and I will spiral back into this groundhog day sensation where I resist absolutely exploding into a thousand fragments because Gandalf is LITERALLY the one who said the dwarves dug too deep and greedily in the first place.
