hi! if you're feeling up to it, may i request tadc cast reuniting with the reader after escaping the digital circus? (not sure if caine would work though, sorry caine fans ;_;) tysm! btw, A+ gif choices :>
Reunited! (TADC cast x reader!)
Except Caine <|3 I kept putting this up because I uh uh
Kinda kept forgetting <\3 I'm so sorry anon 😭😭
This ended up more so being what you guys get up to after reuniting in the real world!
Written on mobile!
Tumblr media
POMNI:
Sure she may have wanted to escape the digital world... a lot... but she never thought she would actually escape, and with everyone else too..! So that's nice! Imagine her shock when by pure chance she runs into you. More so shocked than anything, but relieved.. she was so tied up from being free again that she didnt realize how much she missed you.. it feels.. weird holding your real body.. but it's not unwelcome!
JAX:
Honestly the hardest thing for jax is to tone down his whole.. asshole thing, because people in the real world arent trapped in a space. Actually it would be this reason that you almost dont recognize him..! Woah jax not being an ass for once? Thats not your man!!!!!
As for feeling stuff... oh boy I think I mentioned somewhere that hes a clingy shit behind closed doors, or maybe that was a hyper specific request.. but get ready to have to carry this dude around for a few hours
RAGATHA:
I know I mentioned this. a few times but I love the idea of ragatha and her partner opening up a little bakery together. I can see her being into baking plus I think it fits her aesthetic; if she didnt get into Doll making and stuff... ponders... tearful reunion for you two, ragatha cant help but get a little touchy when she realizes it's you.. though she awkwardly pulls away and apologizes for that.. please hold her and dont let go
KINGER:
Its.. nice... I already have two teary reunions in this post.. hmm.. I don't think kinger would cry. The way I can describe it emotion wise is when you find an old trinket from your childhood. Nostalgic, maybe? I think he takes the longest to build himself back up to where you guys were in your relationship.. the trauma (which realistically they all have, however I think so far at least its hit kinger the worst), losing his possible wife (queener/queenie), reconnecting with his kids (I hc he had at least one kid!!), ect ect
You guys are going to have to take it slow, you know? I have a second request with this prompt for kinger so imma go more into that there!
ZOOBLE:
Writing this down first before I forget but you guys open up a body mod shop together. Piercings, tattoos, ect ect ect. Idk zooble just kind of gives off those vibes, and I feel like you guys would do that together. You guys move in a.. longish..while after reuniting in the real world and confirming who you are to one another.. it's not so much as zooble wants to make sure it's really you, its more so zooble needs time to get used to the real world again + they're cagey about their space !
GANGLE:
Another tearful reunion, she cant believe it's really you. She really thought that she would never see you again... but you're here..! Similar to jax, shes going to cling right onto you and not let go.. you guys hand out nearly everyday for the next few weeks while you try to sort things out, perhaps quickly moving in together

PROJECT 11! I AM DOING THINGS AGAIN!
spent around about 3 hours in total on this! currently an hour 40 into episode 11 HOWEVER. the original pattern i pulled for this uh sucks ass at explaining how to make the solid inside so that was about an hour working on it and trouble shooting before i frogged it and pulled this non solid inside which i think is fine for what ill use it for (nothing at this point lmao) but if i ever need an inside for this i think ill just sew a lil pouch lining for it. and this pattern itself took about 2 hours to work up. with actually learning how to do crocodile stitch in general. because ive Had other projects in the past all for this stitch but this was the first time a pattern actually made sense with its directions! i also! decided to figure out how to do a foundation double and single crochet because i didnt know what kind of cord would fit (it ended up being the single) and so thats really nice to know when i eventually start working on projects on that require me to chain a bunch.
i dont have many small trinkets to put in here so this is kinda just a nothing bag but who knows! maybe ill figure out something to store in here eventually! my dice already have a style to be store in so most likely no dice for this unless i have an irl game and want to bring all my dice in an easier to transport way. but hm. ill figure something out eventually!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
m so sad that my lighting is so shit still because you can not actually see what this looks like. that bottom row of scales? hot pink. that top row? ITS A VERY EARTHY GREEN IT ISNT THAT WEIRD ORANGEY YELLOW THE CAMERA PICKS UP.
m so glad i figured out the crocodile stitch because ive had my eyes on fingerless gloves to make that are dragon scales and i could never figure out the stitch until now. so m really happy that i can attempt that pattern again with like good yarn and probably not fuck it up!
SEASON THOUGHTS
everything happens so much. it was just a nightmare, in a nightmare. my girl liz didnt die. arthur didnt die. theyre all Fine. currently! am at the part in episode 11 where the nurse is talking to the gang and offering to give them any information on the town that she has. i am still so sad about the helper. give me felps back. i miss the silly. give me the silly 😭 where is he 😭
and with this. i think i shall tune back into cellbits stream while i go get ready for bed because it is late and i must Do Things in the morning

eddie who is so open with his affection and appreciation to everyone about what they do for him.
dustin offers his house for a d&d session and eddie's like "i love you, hendersen. do you know that?"
robin pays for a dvd rent one time and eddie goes "if we weren't you know, i'd marry you. thanks, buckley."
nancy gifts him some metal trinkets from some store near her college and eddie kisses her head, saying "you are a dream girl, nancy wheeler! i'd fight buckley for your hand," with a teasing nudge to robin
lucas and max randomly gives him some patches for his new vest and he hugs the teens tightly saying, "you two are the most adorable couple in all of hawkins!"
el finally caved in and made eddie float at least five inch above the ground with her mind and he praises eleven so hard saying "that is the most metal thing ever! ozzy could never!" while smiling wide and patting el's head
mike and will gifts him dice (the one eddie has been talking about every end of a campaign) and eddie dramatically wipes an imaginary tear, before kissing the head of the teens so affectionately (will smiles so wide while mike pushes him away but eddie knows mike is just shy)
steve sees that and wants to be hugged and kissed and praised like that (he's already done with realization and panicking with the help of robin and nancy). so he does everything that could elicit that kind of reaction from eddie.
he tried so hard to curate music that, aside from what eddie usually listens to, eddie would like. that took him probably three weeks with the help of, surprisingly, argyle, and, not surprisingly, jonathan.
all that got him was a "this is very thoughtful, steve. i'll ket you know what i think after i listen to it" with a sincere smile.
(steve didnt know how big eddie's smile is as he went home that night. wayne had noticed and was so curious about what (or who) put that big smile on his nephew but eddie only said a friend made him a mixtape. steve doesnt know how eddie had to bite his tongue to stop hinself from kissing steve harrington in the middle of the school's parking lot.)
steve didnt give up and buys some patches too. he wants to be hugged that tight too.
this time steve was graced with a tight hold in the arm bc apparently steve bought him a metallica patch. "you said you basically listened to them only for a week," steve said.
(eddie rewarded himself that night for only grasping steve's arm instead of hugging and twirling the other man in front of the hellfire club members by buying a pizza for him and wayne)
steve tries to go for the kiss on the temple with a sincere praise by learning how to play the first verse of master of puppets. he was blindsided when eddie literally tears up because "no one had ever exerted that much effort for me."
it's steve who pulls eddie to his side in a hug, careful of eddie's guitar, and pressed a closed lip kiss on eddie's temple, saying "i'll learn the whole song for you, eddie."
(eddie couldnt help himself as he tells what steve did to wayne that night. wayne went "this harrington kid played guitar for you?" "that's what i've been telling you wayne!" and wayne knows how important playing the guitar is for eddie so he nods and said, "let me meet him sometime,")
steve doesnt know what happened because it seemed like they went two steps backward. steve gave eddie a leather jacket. at first, he thought eddie didn't like the idea of someone buying him something expensive. so steve reassured him by saying "that's mine, munson. mom gave it to last year but its not my style so i only wore it once to show her it fits."
(but inside eddie's panicking so much because for him, this is the equivalent of some jock giving their girl their letterman jacket. but for eddie, he loves leather jackets more. and the love of hi life is giving one to him)
eddie lets himself hug steve, one arm on the waist and the other on the shoulder. "thanks, stevie. i'll take care of this," he said before ruffling steve's hair. he waits for the usual teasing irritation about not to ruin his hair but none of that happens. instead, steve is giving him a look that eddie's been the subject of this past few months. a look that eddie's been giving to steve too when the other is not looking at him.
(steve replays the sensation of eddie's warm hugs at night and decides that he wants to be hugged like that for a long, long time.)
at some point of him just giving eddie gifts or doing something for eddie, steve realizes that more than loud and obvious show of affection that eddie do to others, steve prefers the soft "thanks, stevie", the cheery "you are the best, harrington", the teasing "i'll take you up on that offer, big boy"
so whenever eddie profess his eternal love for dustin, or his everlasting gratefulness for robin and nancy, or his untamed affection to lucas and max, or his loveable teasing to mike and will, or his brotherly affection to el, steve smiles because eddie has his own way to show and tell all of those that is reserved for steve only
(the way this went in my mind:
someone: does something nice for eddie
eddie: please marry me
steve: does something nice for eddie
eddie: thanks, steve
steve, irritated: why arent you asking me to marry you!?)

My grian designs from oldest (2019) to newest (2022)  the 1st image is from 2019, its my only drawing of grian from that time. i then kinda took a 2 year break from drawing him haha, the next 2 images are from 2021 and the last pics are from this year. As you can see, he gets more bird-y and i think thats nice.  kinda of a break down of the designs under vvvv
:readmore:
2019 - i basically drew his skin how most people drew him around that time, i wasnt super in to hermit at that time so i didnt bother making a better design. 2021 (1) - i finally got in to hermit craft again around season 8 where the moon was being silly, and that was the time where grian had the tired skin. I went with parrot wings since theyre majorly popular in the fandom. i gave him his usual clothes just more roughed up. he has a purple ring in his eyes to represent the witcher part, just mostly subtle.
Tumblr media
2021 (2) - space grian ! never finished drawing like the previous one but there is a tiny change, the wings. It was then where to boatem crew landed in void/space/whatever. i like the idea of grians wings being able to shapeshift to whatever he needs (thanks to that one fic on ao3 about grian shifting his wings to diffrent species. if i find it again ill link it here), and since he’s a watcher in a way, i thought his wings would become more spacey with starts ! . this is pretty much for this one 2022 (1) - MAJOR upgrade from the last one. i made it around the break between season 8 and 9. I wanted to go for more avian/birdy side of him in this one, hence the 2 wings on his head. I decided  to abond the parrot wings, mainly cause it just didnt fit the grian in my head. His wings are not really designed after a particular bird, i just made them look closer to his hair color (they also got silly eyes in them to once again refrence the watchers).
Tumblr media
He has more feathers on his face/along his body, which most you cant see but trust me its there. His eyes still have the watcher ring color.  His clothes changed too, i dumped the sneakers and his older pants. I gave him strong high calf shoes where he can tuck his pants legs in lawl. He has more bags/pockets stuff to carry his stuff inside (its like the inventory just with more logic to the real world.)   there is feathers sticking out of his shoes for whatever reason.  I was originally planning on giving him bird feet and claws but i didnt know how to draw it so i went with covering his hands with the sweater, and giving him normal legs. 2022 (2) -  Ah yes, the actual bird-yfiction of grian. The clothes stayed pretty much the same, i just gave him a pair of glasses that were inspired by my good friends @he1ian grian design.  I made him way shorter and this time went and gave him bird legs and “claws” (glorified long black nails lol). His hair has became longer, which he can now put in to a ponytail. He has trinkets from his friends on the bag (which i will draw more clearer one day), red scrape of fabric from mumbos tie and a moon charm from pearl. (there will be pins, one will have vote for mumbo, the other one will be the sarah pin and etc. mainly memories from past seasons and other stuff ^_^)
I deleted one pair of bags from his pants due to him now being shorter. If you compare his height to my scar design his head is somehwree under scars shoulder. OH YEAH he also has a tail now For whatever reason.
Tumblr media
THE END ! if anyone read this thank you ur the best i hope you enjoyed my ramblings of a mad man.

Genshin impact boys reaction to showing them your magical serenitea pot
===================================================Basically their reaction when you show them a whole adeptal world of your own inside something that can fit in a bag. Characters mentioned: Diluc; Kaeya; Childe/tartaglia; Zhongli; Bennett; Xiao; Kazuha; Albedo. ====================================================
Diluc:
"Your house? I never knew you actually had a place to stay."
- Aaaannnndddddd he turns you down cuz he's busy at the moment.
- You had to ask him a few times but he pretty much turned you down every time.
-He didn't mean anything bad by it. He really was just busy. He still is the dark knight hero after all.
- When he had free time though, he was sitting by himself in his room, and he feels like he's forgetting something.
- Then he remembered you and he thought "Well I have free time now. It would be interesting to see where the traveler lives."
- He went out to find you, and when he did, he brought it up.
- You were so excited and happy when you pulled out your teapot from your inventory..... that it confused him for a second.
- "Oh... uh, I didn't know you collected antiques too Traveler. Is that a new decoration you found for you home?"
- To be honest he thought the teapot looked kinda normal, and it didn't have any historic value by the looks of it. But he didn't want to be rude and question your tastes.
- You looked at him for a second before remembering that you actually have to explain
- "Oh, right. This may be a little confusing but...... this teapot, is my house......"
- Diluc was just straight up confused. He didn’t know what to say. "Uh..... I see....."
- But you didn't let him wait and you let him your teapot home.
- He was surprised of course, but at the same time, he somehow knew something like this could happen to you.
- He was in awe, but he didn't show it. (Much to your disappointment)
Kaeya
"Oh my, Are you inviting me over? Well what gives me the right to say no?"
- you were happy he said yes almost immediately.
- "So, where do we go?" / "Oh, we dont need to go anywhere. My house is riigghhttt- Here!"
- He was surprised when you dug through you inventory and pulled out a teapot.
- He was confused but he didn't say anything.
-You didn't waste time pulling him into your humble abode~
- You turned to see his reaction, and you were happy to see it
- He showed more reaction than Diluc did. His one un-covered eye was open wide and his mouth was ajar. But he didn't let out so much as a gasp.
- After that he laughed and said "You never cease to amaze me Traveler."
Childe/Tartaglia/Ajax
"Sure, I dont have anything to do at the moment."
- and just like that, he agreed
- Being a rich bank owner- (*cough* sugar daddy), you can bet his home in snezhnaya will be a friggin mansion.
- He doesn't expect your house to be a mansion though. But if he sees that it's just an old shed, he's gonna buy you one.
- "So where is this home of yours?"
- You pulled out your teapot from the inventory and he didn't seem surprised.
- But he did wonder what that teapot was for.
- When you finally showed him what it was for, he definitely didn't expect a whole terrain. Much less the mansion infront of him.
- it was smaller than the one he had back home, but it was still a mansion.
- His face was full of wonder than with shock or surprise.
- "I gotta say comrade, when you said you we aking me to your house, I definitely did not expect this."
Zhongli:
"Your house you say. Well I dont have a reason to decline right?"
- To be fair, being an archon who associated with the adepti, he wasn't surprised and immediately knew the second you pulled out a teapot.
- However, the thing that surprised him most was how one of these fell into your hands.
- He cant assumed you found one on your travels. No adeptus would be so foolish as to leave something like this around for a human to find.
- Anyways, when you were both inside he immediately knew who gave it to you.
- "Ah, I see, it was madame Ping who gave thus to you."
- "How did you know?"
- "I feel a certain..... presence of hers. Also, the terrain seems to have her touch."
- He was pleased with how well decorated the place was. (Assuming you didn't fill the place with pine folding screens)
- (He was considering getting one too because he's probably too broke to get a place of his own)
- (But lets leave it to the imagination and hope he's living with Childe in the meantime)
Bennett:
"Oh, you have a house? Gotta say, since you were a traveler, I didnt actually expect you to have a place to stay. Sure I'll visit your house!"
- You dug through your inventory and presented him a teapot
- "Woah whats that? An artifact?" / "Nope, this is where I live."
- Then lo and behold your very own world!
- His eyes were ✨sparkling✨
- Probably have the best reaction out of everyone.
- "Wooaahhhh!!!! Traveler..... you live here?!? I-in the teapot?!? This is a teapot!?!"
- The boy was so excited, running around the place and exploring the whole place!
- He almost didn't even notice the giant mansion that was actually the place where you stayed.
- When you let him inside he was even more excited.
- He asked if he could stay the night before he was even aware he said it.
- And you let him, even gave the guy an extra room.
- "I gotta say traveler, you really are lucky to have a home right in your bag! And I'm lucky to be invited here. Thanks so much!"
- such a sweet boi
Xiao
"Perhaps I can spare some time. Alright, I'll come for a visit."
- Well he was alot easier to convince than you thought
- Actually no you had to find him all over liyue and whenever you did find him, he'd be too busy.
- This is like, the 6th time you asked him
- "Where is it? Is it somewhere within Liyue?"
- You got your teapot and he was confused for a second but immediately knew what it was later.
- before he could say anything you were both inside.
- He was more or less the same as Zhongli. Being an adeptus himself, he had an idea on what was going on, but was surprised you had access to this kind of adeptal magic.
- So sadly, he didn't have the best reaction except for: "Huh, I didn't know you had access to an adeptal world like this. Much less make it your home."
- "Do you like it Xiao?" / "Well ...I suppose it is quite peaceful here."
Kazuha
"An invitation to the home of the traveler who saved Inazuma? Well, it's not like the wind tells me not to."
- He had to ask permission from Beidou first before leaving. She didn't mind.
- "So traveler, where's this humble home of yours?"
- While still on Beidou's ship (cuz thats where he was), you took out your teapot, and he looked quiet puzzled.
- "Fogive me but, is there something you need with this teapot?"
- You let him in (the crew on the ship didn't even notice)
- He was amazed yes. His face looked like he was watching a firework show.
- It was night time in your teapot so the stars were out.
- "Amazing, a whole entire world, all to yourself, inside a simple trinket that a person could turn a blind eye on if it were at a flea market.
And to think suck a world could fit inside a bag, and in the palm of our hands. Traveler, you have always been one to be full of surprises."
- Aw god his poetic speech is just 👌👌👌 (and I'm putting in more)
- he closed his eyes and inhaled the air, listening for the slightest gust of wind. (Yes there is wind the the teapot I think, I do see the grass blowing)
- "It's quiet here, so peaceful. It feels like it's completely safe here. I could find the nearest rock and doze off right now. It's beautiful here traveler. Do you mind if I stay here, just a little longer."
- Boi you can live here for the rest of your life more rent free than Mona if you'd like!
Albedo
"Huh, I never thought a traveler would have the need for place to settle in and sit still for a period of time. But sure, I'd like to see your house. I'm not too busy at the moment"
- You were in his research place right in dragonspine when you asked him.
- He began to clean up his things and getting ready to go, but then you told him that wasn't necessary.
- "Hm? Aren't we leaving?"
- You brought out your teapot, and he looked at it like it you were holding a baby bird.
- "strange, why would we need a teapot traveler?"
- without any further explination you grinned and then you brought him in.
- He was in awe.
- his eyes widened slightly while his mouth fell ajar. But other than that, he was quiet.
- "Amazing, traveler, may I be so bold to ask on what sort of alchemy you used to create this? Or maybe, this isn't alchemy at all....."
- He was more curious about every explination there is to be made than the actual place you two were at.

How do you think silco would deal or react with grief if jinx had died on the bridge?
OO this is a HARD one!!! Well, first off. I think pure rage. This would further fuel his anger towards Piltover as he would blame them and their tech and their superiority complex as the ultimate cause of Jinx's death. He arrived after Vi, Cait, and Echo had gone so he would not know any of them were involved.
But in addition to that i think it would harden him. He had finally opened his heart up just the tiniest bit to care about someone and something other than his cause. I think that if the series had continued with Jinx dying and Silco remaining, we would have seen a Silco that was more cold and cruel than his initial introduction. I imagine he would have been more demanding of his staff and more punishing to their failures. Outbursts of rage in his private chambers after meetings that didnt go his way etc. I imagine he would have thrown objects in these outbursts. I think it would be similar to the rage fit he had when he failed to capture Vi after all of his posturing and feeling so confident. When he picked up his lackeys and threw them back down to the ground. Kicking the shimmer addicts, etc. I think that level of reaction would have become the new norm when someone frustrated him. I imagine a lot of escalated reactions in discussions ending with a disheveled appearance as he shouts his final say-so while looking around the room at the terrified faces. and then, breathing heavily, he would try to straighten out his hair and dismiss whatever guests were there with a lot of snark. The dismissal being less of a courtesy or suggestion and more of a command. I imagine Sevika getting worried he has lost it and maybe even eventually leaving his ranks. I also imagine he would have kept the trinkets from Jinx and they would become prized possessions. Maybe something that every now and then he finds himself staring at for too long. Perhaps the only things that give him any sense of peace or grounding. Thinking, like a proud dad, how Jinx could have done x or y thing better and gotten a solution for him. I dont see him putting up any statues etc of her. I think he didnt care what the world thought of her so some grand structure like that wouldnt be necessary. But i also imagine you would be fucked if you happened to say anything negative about her in his presence. Ultimately i dont see him going into any substance abuse. His drive always seems to be fueled by his negative emotions. So if anything, he would grow his business even more. Silco is scary that way. He doesnt, generally, self-sabotage with rage like most do. Instead he uses it as a tool to become more powerful and design goals. But i definitely see him as a "burn the city to the ground" type of reaction. I think Piltover would have seen a very violent war from a very brazen nothing-left-to-loose Silco. It would be awe inspiring and horrific. Piltover would know the fury of Zaun. And finally i see him becoming less human. Yes he certainly is already on the more despicable end of the spectrum, certainly. But i see him loosing all sense of humanity and compassion. I see him no longer necessarily leaning so heavily on gentle/subtle manipulations and instead leaning harder on the intimidation end of the spectrum. He certainly uses that already, but i see that becoming the more dominant trait. I would love to hear if you agree or disagree or have completely different ideas or thoughts etc!

Happier (7) | T.H.
Pairing: Tom Holland x Reader
Summary: Y/N ultimately makes a choice that might just change the game. Tom is out with Natalie and LOTS of questions are asked. Is Unknown back for more mischief?
A/N: Wow 7 already?? Thanks again for the support!

Choices
No one goes through life without have to make choices. Sometimes, the choice is easy, but other times it becomes the most difficult, nervewrecking thing one can come across. The worst part...there’s no one to blame but yourself if you choose wrong. The day Y/N broke up with Tom was the most difficult and heartbreaking choice she could have ever done. But what would you do if you were given the option of saving everything your boyfriend had worked for his entire life and breaking both your hearts for a time being?
Now as Y/N lays in bed, surrounded by darkness and her two friends, she is left with another difficult choice. “This was your home. Your real home is in London with us.” Harrison’s words repeat in her head. “So what do you say?”
Her mind reminisces to every amazing moment she’s had in London. All the laughter, adventures, and love she’s shared with every one; it was everything Y/N could have wanted. Then she thought of Tom, and how her feelings were amplified with him. He made her feel more alive, but now miles and hearts apart, life was lifeless. The bad memories start to flood, reminding her of why she was back here in the first place. The messages, the media...Natalie. It made her sick to a point she had to get out of bed and go to the bathroom in order to cleanse away the energy.
As Y/N washed her face and looked in the mirror, she couldnt help but notice something strange in her reflection. “Yes, that’s exactly how you look when you’ve been betrayed and heartbroken.” A voice spoke out. Y/N displayed a look of confusion. It certainly wasn’t Harry or Harrison voice. The voice was femine. In fact...it sounded a little bit like...
“Hello? Earth to Y/N! I’m right here!” The voice exclaimed, as Y/N turned around to the sink and saw a version of herself.
“WHAT THE FUCK?!” Y/N screams, backing up and hitting the cream colored wall.
“Calm down. It’s just your concious.” Y/N’s subconcious, casually stated as she took a sip off a nonexistant champagne glass. She was definitely dressed more classier than Y/N and her attitude was straight to the point. Traits Y/N had always wished she had.
“I definitely must be losing my mind.” Y/N shakes her head, her face plastered in disbelief. She takes a seat on the floor and starts to cradle her head.
“Oh sweetie, you’re not losing your mind. You just need help making another big decision in your life.” Her subconcious smiles, sitting down properly as she plays with her glass.
“Yeah...and where were you when I was breaking down because I had to choose leaving Tom or saving his career?” Y/N challenged as she picked her head up to look at her fiery clone.
“Well, I was hoping you’d have made the right choice then, but clearly looks like you’re incapable of doing that... so here I am.” Y/N’s subconcious gestures with a smile. “So? What’s it gonna be? Staying here or London with your man?” She asks fliratiously when she indirectly mentions Tom. “Here’s a hint. If you’re choosing to stay here, you’re choosing wrong.”
Y/N glares at her subconsious, her eyes filling up with annoyance. “Are you serious right now? After everything that’s happened...you want me to go back to London? God, I feel like a broken record. Why doesnt anyone get it?!”
“No, I think the real question is why dont you get it?” Her subconcious snaps. She stands up and moves closer to Y/N staring into her eyes, as if she was pulling out an inner truth. “You know that whole relationship is a ruse. You know Tom still loves you, and you’re the one spending all this useless time, trying to find an answer that you and I both know.”
Y/N stares down at the tiled floor, eyes welling up with tears. Her subconcious continues, “if you’re still thinking about those stupid messages and Unknown, just stop. Stop the bullshit. At some point in your life, you’re going to have to face the fear, the insecurities, and the threats. It’s a part of your life, and if you let that stop you, you’ll be miserable like this for as long as you live. Think about it.”
With a snap of her fingers, her subconcious disappeared and Y/N was left alone in the bathroom. The time ticking away as she stood silently deciding her future.
Back in London, Tom and Natalie had been give a stunt to pull off at the Kingston Farmers Market, where on even the rainiest day, the small quaint shops display their finest produce and trinkets. As the lovely couple make their way down the streets, Natalie wraps her arms around Tom’s as she snuggles into his neck to keep warm. Tom smiles at the gesture, but those that knew him, could easily point out it was the smile reserved for work.
As they walk hand in hand, Tom observes all the small stands and their beautiful displays, but one stopped him in his tracks completely. It was a small sweets stand that showcased their finest desserts and pastries. He remembered it very well from 3 years ago. After all, this was the exact spot where Y/N and Tom had their first date.
He rememebered the stroll they took as they walked down the cobbled road with all the wooden stalls lined up on each side. How Y/N ‘s tiny hand had fit perfect in his, fingers laced together, as they lightly swung back and forth. Tom could hear her laughing as she was telling him a story about her embarassing moments with her childhood friends. He remembered listening intently and smiling back, telling Y/N she was something else in the best way possible. Tom remembered how she stopped at this very spot, where he and Natalie now stood today.
“Do you want to take a look?” Tom asked, smiling as he saw Y/N looking at the desserts and pastries as if they were her first love. “You’re practically drooling.” He joked, only to get a slight shove from her.
“Am not!” Y/N laughs, keeping her eyes focused on the desserts. “Just admiring the view.”
“Ouch. Here I thought I was the view all along” Tom responds, putting a hand on his wounded heart. A moment of silence passed, but it was anything but akward. They smiled, looking into each others eyes. Tom took notice of every little detail that made up her delicate, soft face. He took her hand again as he lead her to the stall. “C’mon, lets see if we can find something to satisfy that sweet tooth of yours.”
As the two looked carefully at the display, one caught his eyes. It was big enough to share, shaped in a heart, and the best part...covered in chocolate and whipped cream. “How cheesy.” Y/N says as he picks it up.
Tom froze, his cheeks turning a slight pink. “Is it?”, he questions as he was about to put it back until Y/N stopped him.
“Cheesy, but in a good way.” Y/N says as she takes the pastry and hands it over to the cashier. Tom smiles at her, letting out a soft chuckle as he pays for it. They split it in half as they took a big bite, making sure to get every element of the pastry. It was soft, sweet, mushy, and crunchy all that the same time. As they each pulled away from the dessert, Tom noticed a little bit of cream lingering at the top of her lips. “You got a little something there.” Tom laughs pointing to where it was.
Y/N tried to lick it off, unsuccessfully as Tom shakes his head. He comes in closer leaning in as his lips touched hers, making an effort to wipe off the cream. Their lips lingered for a few seconds, slowing and reluctantly parting away. He could never forget how soft her lips were, and how a thousand butterflies exploded the moment he first kissed her at that very stand.
“Better?” She asks as she looks down, hiding her rather giddy smile.
“Better than I could have imagined.”
It was in that moment, Tom had woken up from his daydream of the past. “Tom! C’mon! You could at least act like you’re interested in me for the cameras.” Natalie snaps him out, showing evidence of annoyance. She grabbed his arm again as they walked towards the sweet stall, tainting the memories of Y/N and Tom’s first date. Natalie’s face softens as she looks at the display and then looks at Tom as he eyes the one pastry. “Look I’m sorry. I didnt mean to lash out like that. It’s just..I’m really trying to help you get over this and make you feel better, while being in this situation, but you’re not really helping me out here.”
“I’m sorry Natalie. Im just...not really feeling up to this.” Tom admits as he looks at Natalie with a solemn smile.
Natalie rolls her eyes, as she hears the same response from him for the 50th time since the fiasco happened. “Tom, I get you’re still heartbroken and all I told you Im trying to be here for you, especially since Harrison and Harry are god knows where. But I need some effort on your end. Plus you did agree to do the PR.”
Tom looks at her with digust, glaring into her dull brown eyes. “Only because your publicist threatened me pictures of Y/N and some bloke she was with!”
Natalie crosses her arms listening to Tom as if it wasn’t a big deal. “You mean her new boyfriend? And my publicist never threatend you. She just...simply stated facts.”
“He isn’t her boyfriend!” He says as his voice starts to boom with anger. “And I was stupid enough to believe it and wait for Y/N to say it herself. She told me your publicist worked with Y/N’s friend and sent it in...Is it true?”
Natalie looks at him, frozen with fear, her top lip shaking just a little. “You know? She called you?” She asks.
“It doesn’t matter if she did or didnt. Is it true?” Toms asks again.
“I don’t know Tom. I know only as much as you during that meeting. And why would you believer what comes out of her mouth. Maybe she’s playing you. She broke your heart and I dont see why she wouldn’t do it again by manipulating you with facts that could or couldn’t be true.” Natalie speaks out as she continues to look away. “C’mon the paparazzi are here.”
Tom looks at her in disbelief, scoffing at her response. He drops his arm from her hands as he walks away. Natalie stands there watching him, as she felt her phone vibrate.
Unknown
Pushing him away, pushes away your dreams ❤️
Natalie stares at the notification, her face turninng pale as if she had seen a ghost. This wasn’t how the game was supposed to work, and yet here she was. She knew exactly what the text meant and perhaps even worse...knew exactly who it came from, which made it all more impossible to fight back.
A few days had passed, and Tom comes down to the kitchen to see Harrison and Harry entering the house setting down their luggages and bags. “And where the hell did you two divs go?” Tom questions them, evidently pissed off that they both went somewhere without a word. He was ready to say more when he saw Y/N walk through the doors with her baggage in hand. To say he was surprised was an understatement. In fact he was shocked, over the moon. He discreetly piched himself to see if he was dreaming. He certaintly was not. Y/N was here.
“Y/N” was all he could manage out. “I..I..”. It had been months since he last saw her, and yet she still looked beautiful even if she had no makeup and showed signs of distress. It broke his heart immensely to see her in this state.
“Dont get too excited. Im only here cause Harrison and Harry wouldn’t leave me alone if I didnt come.” Y/N grumbles as she brings her stuff in.
Natalie heads down the stairs to join the group, eqUally as shocked to see Y/N back. “Oh...you’re..you’re back.” She states nervously and clearly annoyed. Everything they had set up was no longer going according to plan.
“I am. I’m gonna go set my stuff up in the attic.” Y/N speaks out as she awkwardly makes her way upstairs.
“You know what. I’m sure you boys have a lot to talk about, so I’ll just make my way to my room.” Natalie quickly says, disappearing from the room.
Tom, Harry, and Harrison were left in the room. All three staring down at each other. “You went to see her?” Tom spits out. “And didn’t tell me?”
“Tom. We need to talk.” Harrison says as he sits him down ready to speak out on everything that has been waiting to be brought to light.

Please do tell us Kova entire backstory
I will put it under a cut because it will probably get LONG
Tumblr media
Kova is a Catfolk which means his kind is naturally nomadic, but his parents settled down to raise him on a farm. From a young age he had a passion for reading and learning, so eventually his parents agreed to send him to a prestigious school on a scholarship. The setup for this school allowed for students to spend a certain amount of years studying general topics as they wished before selecting a track (basically their class; sorcerer, paladin, druid, etc.) Kova found he didnt really fit in at first, since he was on the younger side and his accent was so different but as he grew older he adopted the speech patterns most people in the university had (when he's nervous or excited his original accent peeks through though). One day he was out in the surrounding city, browsing book shops and trinket stores and whatnot when he met Tisla, who was also a Catfolk. She was fighter class and worked from shop to shop helping lift or move heavy things. She loved helping people in trouble and LOVED fighting bullies and petty thieves.
Tumblr media
She was loud and rambunctious and basically his polar opposite but they became fast, close friends and Kova found himself spending more and more time with her outside of his classes (at one point rumors about their closness got so strong they decided to try things out to see if everyone was right but they spent less than 12 hours in a "relationship" and couldn't even look each other in the eye before they were like yeah no just friends). When the time came for Kova to pick a track he really didn't know what direction he should go. He went out with Tisla to clear his head when they passed a band of street performers and Tisla made a few side comments about how much she loved music and how it brought people together. This really got to Kova and inspired him and so he joined the Bard track, which she thought was a little funny, because she didnt realize just how much of an impact her words had on him that day. Anyways Kova graduated top of his class and he and Tisla decided to go on adventures together and fight bad guys and stuff and it was awesome. And then one dayyyy Tisla got super pregnant and she had Iris. Iris was a little sickly but Kova absolutely adored her and spoiled her rotten. She gave him his harmonica (which he actually can't stand the sound of, but kept and used to humor her). They still all went on adventures but Tisla from then on wasn't so reckless.
Tumblr media
One night the trio arrived at a small tavern and the owner convinced Kova to perform a bit, using Bard magic to entertain everyone and have a fun time before they all settled down for the night. A few hours later the village came under attack by a group of marauders who started setting fire to houses and pillaging all they could. The inn was set on fire and Kova and Tisla gathered as much as they could from the burning building before escaping. Tisla handed Iris to Kova before she ran back inside to help anyone who might be stuck inside. Iris had inhaled so much smoke though, and her body just couldn't take it, and she ended up passing in Kova's arms after making him promise to take care of her little stuffed owlbear. Since the whole night hadn't passed yet, Kova's spell slots hadn't been restored, not that he knew very good healing spells in the first place. Kova rushed to find Tisla but right before he could run into the burning tavern the whole building collapsed with her inside.
Tumblr media
After that night Kova became even more of a recluse than he had been in school, throwing himself full tilt into learning as much as he could. He still did jobs but stubbornly held any of his travel companions at a stiff distance. He became overly cautious and meticulous; he never wanted anything so devastating to happen to him ever, ever again. He has a collection of "letters"/diary entries addressed to Tisla keeping her updated on his experiences and travels. Idk if I should talk about the basic plot of the campaign he was in or everything afterwards (or even his villain au) but if anyone is interested I'll do another infodump for that. I love him. SO MUCH.

The boarding school
Discord thread with @kaibacorpbros !
Where was he? What happened overnight? What kind of place is this? It looked nothing like the mansion he had woke up in months ago.
So many thoughts ran through the mind of the spirit, as he dared to have a peek at what might be happening to their surrounding. If his timing wasn’t wrong, they should have already been dragged by one of Gozaburo’s servants so he could punish them. However, he was shocked and surprised to find himself in an entirely different setting.
What did he miss out on while he hid away in his soul room?
It appeared his vessel turned 14 a few days ago, the same age he began his training - magic practice allthose years ago. At long last, he could feel his magic flowing within him once again. It is slowly returning to him, finally he will be able to get his revenge on Gozaburo.
Now if only the man was there, to begin with.
The spirit kept looking around, but all he saw were just a handful of other boys- all seemed to be about the same age as them on top of being dressed up in a similar outfit as them as well. How odd. It was all that Set could think of, while scanning the surrounding.
While looking around, he took notice of two children sitting together not too far from them with what appeared to be cards from the same game Seto enjoyed playing.
"Hey, you even listening? Don't walk away from me." There's a shove that comes from behind Seto's body, from one of the kids that was closing in in him.
"I'm sick of you getting all the damn credit just because of who your father is."
The leader comes closer. He was bigger than Seto, and most certainly more fit. There weren't any adults around. And the exits were blocked by other groups of boys, not even paying attention to any of this happening.
"Little teacher's pet. No amount of talking will weasel you out of this." This time, the boy goes to grab Seto instead. He manages to dodge, only to be pushed down by one of the others.
Never show weakness. Echos in his mind. Seto pops right back up with a glare to drive a tackle into the second boy, sending them tussling on the ground and into the two who had been playing duel monsters. Cards fly everywhere as Seto tries to throw the bigger boy off, but he's too outmatched by weight.
They couldn't kill him...right? People would find out. The teachers would. "Get off!" he snarls trying to land a hit, but only managing to catch they bully slightly with one.
’These voices... What are they saying?’
The spirit’s attention was immediately drawn to the source of it. Was he even still in the land called Japan? The boy didn’t look anything remotely similar to what he had seen in the past, and those words... He could understand them, but he could tell it wasn’t the same dialect he and his vessel had been using.
Where are they? What is this place?
Unfortunately, his train of thought was lost when the fight began. He could see Seto trying to withstand the much larger boys, while causing a major havoc in the space they were in.
This could be the perfect opportunity for him to put his powers to the test. If it weren’t for the sheer number of peers, that would go against all his work to remain hidden in the boy’s mind.
But at the same time, he knows he can’t just watch the whole thing either... It’s pretty obvious how Seto has a huge disadvantage here.
The spirit’s eyes remain fixated on the pack’s leader, if he takes out that brat then the others should leave them be.
He just needs to wait the perfect time, for him to take over the vessel’s body.
The end result wasn't pretty. The boys didn't kill him. Little victories, Seto supposed. But there had been too many of them, and he was too small in comparison.
They took their turns having their fun leaving him flecked with blood with purple bruises left all over.
No one would ever come to save him.
The lesson didnt need to be said, but it was clear what Gozaburo socially wanted Seto to learn.
He managed to hide most of the marks. Clean himself up and explain away the ones on his face as a clumsy trip to the staff.
And he was more than grateful to flop into his bunk in exhaustion in the evening. He'd figure out a way to get them back tomorrow. Most of the boys were already asleep. Some, including some of his aggressors were still up. Chatting about who knows what. Seto just wished they would shut up. What was the point of lights out if you couldn't actually sleep?
Could there be any other side-effects to sharing the body and mind with a child? He seems to be lacking his maturity. As a dark- grim wish to give those kids a payback, grew in his mind while he watched the fight unfold. Wouldn’t it be great to teach them a lesson? Scare them away for good?
Those would definetely leave a mark. The spirit came to that conclusion by the end of it all, as he now watched his vessel try to recover from the whole thing. His magic is back, he can feel it. He is more than ready to finally, use everything he has got under his sleeve on that pathetic man.
Yet, Gozaburo doesn’t even cross his mind in that moment as his vessel tried to force himself to sleep.
Those boys have sealed their fate... Perhaps, it wouldn’t hurt for him to have some fun. After all, he has had no joy ever since he was brought back.
So, he waited for the perfect opportunity to swap places with the child’s mind. Which, given his situation it didn’t take long at all. The spirit quickly changed his clothes, and headed out after those that dared to wrong him.
Finding them was incredibly easy, he only had to follow their loud and obnoxious voices. Firstly, he made his presence known by purposely making noises with his footsteps, as he approached them with a smirk on his face.
It almost seemed like he wasn’t the same kid, who was beaten up just a few hours ago.
His walk eventually came to a sudden halt, when he got to a relatively safe distance from his preys and had a clear vision of them. Seto remained in silence, as he simply stared at them while holding onto the golden trinket.
To Seto, he just fell asleep easily for once despite the noise and the nightmares. A rare occurrence.
In reality he couldn't have a clue his body was still walking around.
Another muffled fit of laughter from the group of boys erupted, and only cut off with the sound of footsteps. Instantly all their flashlights went out, thinking it was a teacher coming to scold them for being up.
It wasn't.
"Eh? What the hell--" remarked one. Sure, they had seen that staff of Seto's before, but...
"What, come for trouble again?" spat another, flicking his flashlight on again to see their classmate.
He looked... different.
The last, and biggest one got up, approaching Seto. "Really, Kaiba? You wanna act tough? Did you hit your head when you hit the floor?"
The thing boy didn’t flinch at all when the flashlights shined light at him, there was something very different in the way he looked at them. Seto had a wide grin on his face, in fact he still had on himself all the wounds those bastards had inflicted upon his body a few hours ago. A low chuckle left him, as he flashed his preys his teeth.
He didn’t respond to them, rather he began chanting something - a spell a tune of sorts. It was almost inaudible, and an ancient dialect was being used. Quickly their surroundings became increasingly dark, and it only got worse as the seconds passed.
By the time the biggest thug made it to him, Kaiba’s chanting came to a close “Yami no game start!”. When he exclaimed it, the golden eye of Wdjat appeared on his forehead and it flashed brightly, his rod shined in response to it as well.
A game of shadows has begun, it an ancient kind of magic that had long since been lost to time. Egyptians used it, to punish prisoners and anyone who dared to threaten the royalty.
All three boys were subjected to this punishment, for threatening the body and soul of a pharaoh. It is the biggest offense, any mortal could possibly commit in their lives.
The shadow game didn’t take long to come to a close, but it most certainly affected and claimed three lives. They weren’t dead, but it didn’t seem like they could even tell where they were, the punishment had shattered their minds and consumed their souls.
Kaiba stood there for a moment, admiring his work quietly as he held onto his rod. There is still a lot he has to regain access to... But his powers were finally back. Eventually he returned to the dorm where his vessel was meant to sleep in, before he returned the body to the kid's soul.
Why was he so exhausted? Even more so than it seemed to make sense. But Seto was quickly knocked out of his daze by loud chattering, and even some screams in the wing of where his quarters were. The boy drags himself out of bed to see what the all the commotion was.
As he follows the crowd of kids, he's greeted by the sight of the boys from yesterday being carried out by some of the teachers. What had.... had they all gotten sick? It was improbable, not impossible. People kept muttering about what happened around him.
They were found this morning, they haven't reacted at all, even when the teachers came over. How long are they going to be like that?
Looks like he didn't even have to sneak in some time to sabotage their schoolwork. But something still wasn't adding up...
Who was the last person to talk to them? Not me, I went right to bed. Not me. Not me. Not me.
Wasn't it Kaiba?
And with that, he'd already disappeared. Seto didn't believe in karma or anything like that. But this had nothing to do with him. And if he were lucky, Gozaburo would never hear about it.
The spirit of the rod was very pleased to have returned to where he had left them the previous night, the others reactions only stroked his ego even more. Those three fools were simply the beginning... This place will be the perfect playground, for the spirit to practice and prepare himself until that man returns.
He will have his fun in the meantime, until that happens.
The following days would be marked with similar accidents and tragedies that the three first victims experienced, yet no one had any explanation for what could be happening. There was no comfort, for the families of the boys that fell victims of this mysterious comatose state. There were no witnesses, no leads, clues... Nothing at all that could possibly shine a light at what might be happening in the famous boarding school. The police had even showed up a few times, but to no avail.
Many rumors spread around amongst the students, and the staff would attempt to try and dissuade the children from spreading them even more. An effortless attempt, at trying to salvage the establishment's reputation.
No one in this realm, could possibly suspect that the real cause of all those awful incidents hid within one of their students mind. The spirit was way too thrilled, with the whole situation he had created and the things he has done. But alas, it seemed like their stay was coming to an end. It appeared they would be returning home, sooner than anticipated. What a bummer.
The spirit thought to himself, as he rested within his soul room and watched from there their surrounding. A familiar scene caught his attention from the corner of his eyes, there were two kids playing that same cards game his vessel enjoyed so much.
And by the looks of it, he wasn't the only one.
Things just got odder from that day forward. The other boys left Seto alone for a while after the first three, but eventually new ones took their place. And yet each time before Seto could enact his plans to sabotage their work or belongings, some similar type of phenomenon would happen.
It didn't have to do with him. It didn't.
But at least that vermin was out of the way. The little stint was almost over though. At least Seto would be able to see Mokuba again soon.
But something caught  his attention about the kids playing duel monsters, and before he knew it Kaiba had closed the distance to get a better look. No way. It had to be a replica something the kid threw in for a casual duel.
"Is that card real?" he demanded.
When the boy looked up at him, Seto recognized him. Anthony, son of parents with quite the powerful company, at the very least Gozaburo knew of them.
"Ha! 'Course it is!" The boy proudly waves the card between two fingers. "My father managed to collect it and he let me bring it. Awesome, isn't it? 3000 whopping attack. Nothing can beat that!"
Kaiba didn't bother pointing out that what the boy said wasn't true. But of course it would be difficult to get over such a monster in a duel. But Seto's eyes never left the card.
What a waste.
This kid using it for free time at a boarding school. That dragon deserved better than that. It should be bringing victory and glory in tournaments, not in the hands of a spoiled kid who didn't know the dragon's true worth.
Seto wanted it. That dragon was meant to be his, he knew it. It was just a matter of getting it. Already several questionable moral plans were coming to mind. He'd made up his mind. Seto wasn't going to leave this place until that dragon was his. No matter what it took.
"Sorry Kaiba, my father would never give it over for money. You might as well forget whatever you're thinking of."
No way... This couldn’t be real...
’Kisara!’
The name immediately jumped into his mind, as soon as the card was showed to them. His eyes shot widely open, and his entire disposition changed drastically in the split of a second. The spirit felt like he was so close to just swapping places with Seto, and try to steal the card from the kid on the spot.
Thankfully, he gave up on it as soon as he reached his door.
No, no he can’t ruin everything he has been worked on like this... He has a bigger goal, something far greater waiting for him...
Even if it meant he had to give his back to someone- something so crucial, and special to him.
He stood there, motionless as he had to fight against all of his wishes and need to intervene.
How dare a simpleton vermin like Anthony, handle the legendary blue-eyes white dragon like that? It was obvious, how a normal kid just would never be able to even grasp that beast’s full potential...
‘Of course, right. This is another world... It’s all just a game of cards...’
The spirit thought, that information had to be clear to him. Even if the idea in that moment, hurt him. But he refused to believe, there was nothing that they couldn’t possibly try to get it from the kid.
Amidst his silence, he picked up on a sensation that came from his vessel. It felt similar and very familiar, then it hit him. Of course, Seto wants it just as much as him.
‘You have to get it... You need it... No, we both need it.’ The spirit thought to himself, as his attention returned to the outside world from Seto’s perspective.
Kaiba was already angry at this kid. An yet something spurred it on further, igniting from one spark into a fire.
No. That dragon was leaving with him.
He turned his head to Anthony's opponent. "The math teacher was looking for you, by the way. That's the whole reason why I came over...she said it was about the test."
Nothing more needed to be said, as the boy bolted as soon as the words left Seto's mouth.
Now they were alone.
"Everything has a price," Kaiba said.
"Wow, how lame--okay it's a cool card but I think my dad said it was worth millions? Seems a bit ridiculous to me," the boy said as he lazily spun the card in his fingers.
His words only added to the fire. And Seto didn't know what prompted it, it was like he was barely thinking beyond his rage, like autopilot. He grabbed the boy by the shirt.
"I'm not taking no for an answer. Give that to me."
‘Lame?! Watch your mouth, vermin!’
The spirit thought to himself, as he still only watched ovr Seto’s exchanges with the kid. The way the card was being handled, and referred to got under his skin.
Kisara, how dare they insult you and your power like this?
Up until this point, all the kids he had punished were bullies- people who had harrassed and tried to attack Seto. The spirit should only use his powers upon evil souls, otherwise he might end up following the same steps of his former master.
This is the only thing that held him back, in that moment. A furious huff left him, as he took out his anger on a wall by punching it.
He can’t... He shouldn’t... He needs to control himself.
The wonders of being in the body of a child, and assimilating their lack of self-control and maturity.
He won’t let this one pass, he didn’t even care if his vessel would witness it all.
Seto’s bangs began moving aside, in order to reveal the shining symbol from the eye of wdjat. Then his hair became noticeably longer, on top of getting a lot stronger as well (he held the poor kid up a whole lot easier). While the body went through changes, the surrounding also became shroudded in darkness.
“We shall play a game for the Blue-eyes white dragon then, a game to decide the fate of this card... It will be a game of the shadows.”
“Yami no, game start.”
Anthony was no different from all of his past victims, he easily and quickly failed at the game. Which led to him having his soul punished, by none other than the white dragon itself. The game and punishment ended without any major fanfare, other than the kid’s cards collection fly all over the room they were in.
Slowly things began returning to normal, and once he retrieved the card from the floor he swapped places with Seto’s soul.
It was a all in a blur of anger for Seto. He knew he was willing to fight this boy for that card, he just needed to be smart enough to not be caught, or Gozaburo would would reprimand him.
Of couse, a this age he was a bit temperamental, and knew defending your respect was necessary in places like these.
Which is why they flying cards seemed to make sense. They got into a fight, obviously. And the boy was unconscious on the floor. Seto must have knocked him out.
Right?
But then he looked down at what was in his had. The beautiful legendary dragon, raw engine of destruction, Blue Eyes.
It was his, and that's all that mattered now. Seto fills with pride, this is his power, his freedom.
He's always wanted this dragon since he knew of its existence. No one would take it from him now.
Not even Gozaburo. Not giving any of the damage second thought, Seto moved on. The last thing he would want to be stuck with was cleaning up a mess.

Heyyy! For the character ask meme - Troy!Jeremy: 1, 5, 19 || Troy!Michael: 9, 12, 21 || Troy!Rich: 10, 14, 18 || basically please talk to me about Troy's versions of the characters because I love them so much. uwu
hey thank you very much im sorry this took so long but i have SO many thoughts about troy![character] and i am ALWAYS willing to talk about him and his interpretations of characters
troy!jeremy
1) Something this character is truly proud of
he's very proud of taking the initiative to join theatre and for having the strength or break out of the squip's hold during the play!!! both of those are moments hes proud of because it feels like he was using like. an inner strength he didnt know he had and, especially with regards to the squip one, he feels like its something he did to help people?
5) A cherished personal belonging.
either his space cat tshirt OR some small trinket that was the last thing he got from his mom before she left. he doesnt tell anyone he still has it, but he absolutely cherishes it (theres also the implication that his mom would have been his link to his japanese side and he holds onto it because he doesnt want to fully lose that part of himself that he already feels disconnected to)
19) When they feel safest
michael's basement!! and then post-squip, also his own bedroom in the summer during the day with the lights off and a bunch natural light coming through the window
troy!michael:
9) What calms them when they are upset.
hoodie (thrown in the dryer for five minutes so that its extra warm) and/or music!!! he has a big playlist of songs that calm him down already premade and ready to go (and this is where my hc differs from george!michael because i dont think he would already have that playlist made)
12) How they sleep.
oh like a starfish, flailing around a lot. he constantly has to fix his fitted sheet because it keeps coming off from his squirming. and also not very deeply, as in it takes a minute or so to wake him up but its not that long all things considered.
21) Their fondest childhood memory
definitely something with jeremy!! maybe like. something small and dumb but meaningful like when they both get glasses for the first time and swap them or something bigger like their first sleepover- just them, michael's ds, and jeremy's dad because his mom is out of town and thats the only way they can get a sleepover until mrs heere accepts that michael is going to be a fixture in their lives.
troy!rich:
10) How they deal with pain.
he. doesnt. he doesnt really know how to except to just internalize it and let it build and build and then he just snaps and the cycle repeats. this was fine pre-squip because no one cared, and fine with the squip because it could use that internalized pain but post-squip it really sucks for him especially combined with the stares and rumors. even with physical pain he tends to brush it off and try to make it seem like less of an issue.
14) How they did in school
he does okay in school without the squip- before it, he sometimes just. didnt put in the effort but he definitely had the potential!! he put effort into the stuff he was interested in (i feel like he probably maybe took some computer science/tech-y electives?) and. less into stuff he didnt care as much about. post-squip he needs a LOT of help catching up but he does it alongside jeremy and works for it and he does okay!!
18) Special talents they have
i feel like troy!rich is like. really unfairly good at charades. theres something to be said about the meaning behind that but im sleepy and i genuinely think hes just a very good actor BUT not on stage because on stage he waaaay oversells it OR gets too nervous
Send me a character and a number!

BBRae developing a new understanding of one another? Like Raven learning about BB's past, BB getting a better understanding of Raven?
mmmmmm yes
- after a particularly rough battle beast boy sat down in his room, raven sat down next to him, and beast boy says in the smallest voice, “sometimes I don’t think I’m cut out for this..”
- instead of raven instantly going “no, beast boy, i know you’re cut out for this” she asks him why, to get to the root of the problem. and beast boy quietly just, admits all these insecurities he has, while staring at his hands and his voice sounds .. broken.
- he explains how a lot of it stemmed from his treatment during doom patrol. he loves doom patrol, he really does!! but being treated like a little kid for so long, a little kid who doesn’t have potential… and then being offered the opportunity for potential and blowing it… kinda put a dent in his pride as a human being
- he talks about how he could have saved his parents, he should have saved his parents but he didn’t couldn’t… (wouldn’t?)
- and raven just hugs him tightly and murmurs real, hard facts in his ears, reminding him of all the times he didnt screw up, of all the times he was the hero, and she softly debunks any arguments he has. she doesn’t get angry at him constantly trying to shoot down her stories (”yeah but i could’ve done better..”) and just keeps going. she talks about how heroic he is to her, specifically, (”remember when I ran out of tampons? you didn’t hesitate to run to the store. my hero”) and just… validating him. and she reminds him that his fears are important but not to let all the negativity consume him because he is capable, he just can’t see it sometimes
- on the flip side, when raven is struggling with her anger, beast boy helps. usually after she cools off a bit – it’s never smart to reason with pure fury, so she usually tears something apart or spends hours in the training room, alone (when she’s angry like this she refuses to train with anyone else, no matter how many times starfire or robin or cyborg offer).
- she tells him of her old planet, of peace and tranquility and how she never truly fit in because of her heritage. they tried, they really tried, but she was just too demonic for the place.
- she tells him about how she worries about tearing the team apart and how they’re the only family she has, and that selfishly, she fears loneliness, she fears loneliness so intensely that it scares her
- beast boy knows what it’s like to feel left out and he regails her of tales from his old middle school, and how he was always the last boy picked. he tells her that he’s never leaving, and apologizes because he knows she’ll never completely believe him. he shows her trinkets from cyborg and starfire and robin, of a broken chain from that one time with jinx, and a flattened penny from that time with kid flash, and proves to her, slowly but surely, that she matters and that people care about her.
- just mutual love and support, even when they’re hurting the most.

Heyo! Found this delightful little page surfing for more DA content (again; thanks trailer) and thought I'd try an ask! Could I request reactions of all the DA:I companions to an Inquisitor that has been nothing but focused and serious about the whole thing just suddenly finding the cutest random object (like an abandoned music box) and going completely fan girl/boy over it for a few moments before remembering they're not alone? Thank you much and looking forward to your work!
Sent in by @bottastic0201 !!
((Oof, I deviated a bit from the ask, hope you don't mind! Also didn't include Blackwall cause I don't know his character to well yet as I never really had him as part of my party. Not to fear, he will be added later on!))
Cassandra: After the demon fight at the Temple of Sacred Ashes, Cassandra always had a certain respect for the Inquisitor, despite their poor first impressions. They took the Inquisition's cause very seriously, and were focused on closing the Breach perhaps even more so than she was. Of course, that didn’t stop the Seeker from at least chuckling at the sight of the Inquisitor fawning over a fancy little elven music box they found when exploring Skyhold, tucked away in some corner long covered in dust. They were exploring the lover levels of the grand fortress together, though Cassandra guessed they forgot she was even there whenever they spotted the little thing. It was made out of a black, sleek wood, and covered in carvings of wolves and halla with golden accents for the wolves’ eyes and the halla’s horns. Cassandra cleared her throat, arms crossed over her chest and a light smile playing at her lips. “Found something you like, Inquisitor?” The blush that crept onto their face was worth the little tease, and she had to promise them not to tell any of the others. If this little scene did manage to make it into one of Varric’s new books, she certainly wasn’t the one who told him.
Varric: Varric had to say that, in his time of both writing and following heroes, the Inquisitor was probably the most… Efficient one the dwarf had encountered. Sure, being driven to save the world from becoming ass deep in demons and corrupted with red lyrium was certainly commendable, though he did find himself missing Hawke’s snarky comebacks and sassy remarks. The Inquisitor was a serious leader, and didn’t usually humor his, well, humor. However, whenever the two stumbled across a little gold and white painted music box in a random part of the ass end of nowhere and the Inquisitor let out a little squeal at the sight, the dwarf couldn’t help but laugh. “Really, Stiffy? That’s what cracks you? A music box?” His gruff voice reminded the Inquisitor of his presence, and the blush of embarrassment that followed just made the dwarf grin. When they asked him to keep this little scene out of his book, all they got in return was a wider grin and a wink.
Solas: Before this little incident, Solas had a pretty neutral opinion of the Inquisitor. They were focused and did their assigned role well, and he couldn’t complain much about their serious demeanor. To be the Inquisitor was a hard task, and he understood what they had to carry on their shoulders and the face they had to put on for nobles and pretty courts. After all, he had the same weight on his shoulders, as well as a face of his own. Unlike a few of the more boisterous companions the Inquisitor has taken under their metaphorical wing, Solas doesn't interrupt them whenever they spot a charming little Dalish themed music box while combing through the Exalted Plains. He watches them fawn over the little wooden thing, running their fingers over the raven and bear carvings all over its surface. They pouted slightly once they realized the small box no longer played music, the handle broken and the gears inside probably long since rusted, and placed the pretty thing into their bag. “Shall we move on then, Inquisitor?”If this is after his personal quest ‘All New, Faded for Her’, and they tried to help his corrupted friend, the Inquisitor will find a new music box on the desk in their quarters. It is covered with delicate little designs of wolves and elves, obviously drawn by Solas’ hand, and when it’s golden handle is turned it plays a lovely tune that the Inquisitor is humming for days afterwards.
Sera: First impressions of the Inquisitor? A stuck up nob with too many sticks up their back-end mouth. They’re not fun to joke with, absolutely no help in pranking, and don’t appreciate a good bee nest inside of a training dummy. Sure, being serious was good and all, and being focused on what you want to do is fine, though Sera finds herself a little aggravated with them after a short time. Unlike most of the others, she was not exploring with the Inquisitor when she spotted them gushing over some slightly beat up doll in the middle of Redcliffe, though she was planning on pranking them with a good pie. However, whenever she spotted them holding the doll with the cheesiest smile on their face, cradling the small thing against their chest, Sera almost couldn’t handle it. She almost fell off of the roof she was spying on them from because of laughing so hard, which, or course, startled the Inquisitor to no end, and instead of being embarrassed they were almost terrified at the quirky elf’s barking laughter. “A doll?! You’re just putting me on, right? It’s a doll and you’re smiling at it like it’s just watered your damn crops!” Sera spoke in between laughing, and in the end, her pie ended up ruined all over the roof as she jumped down to the Inquisitor’s level. It becomes a constant thing she teases the Inquisitor about, and it’s not long before the rest of the Inner Circle knows.
Dorian: Dorian is not an unreasonable man. All he wants is a nice glass of wine in the morning, some decent fucking literature, and an Inquisitor who at least humors his jester personality just a tad more than the current one does. They dismiss any of his playful flirting and sarcastic comments, and suddenly that one glass of wine turns into two. It’s not that he minds them being extremely driven- Far from it, actually, though he wished that their devotion also came with a little sense of humor. So one can imagine how unimaginably pleased the ‘Vint was whenever they came across a pretty little mabari figurine at the Winter Palace. They were supposed to be looking for some halla statues or something to open a door in their way, and instead, found a golden painted dog in one of the guest rooms. While Dorian thought it would be more fitting to find in Ferelden, the Inquisitor was overly pleased to have found it at all. The dog had a golden chain attached to it, and it wasn’t long before it was around the Inquisitor’s neck and they were standing in front of the best mirror they could find to see how it looked. “I personally think drakestone would suit you better. Really brings out your eyes.”Dorian spoke casually as he stepped behind the Inquisitor, looking at their reflection in the mirror as they nearly screamed at his. The flushed look on their face and wide eyes were more than enough of a reward for his teasing, and he spent a lot of their time left at the Palace making similar comments.
Vivienne: Similar to Solas, Vivienne’s initial reaction to the Inquisitor was pretty neutral. They were serious in the work that they did and driven to rid the world of this nightmare, so she had a certain respect for them for taking the role as leader of the Inquisition in stride. She didn’t have a problem with their serious demeanor, and it made speaking to them much more tolerable than speaking to someone like Cole or Sera, who were either too cryptic or too aggravating to understand. Whenever they did find a little pretty trinket and the Inquisitor all but gushed over it, she found it almost charming. A powerful, grand person of power absolutely fawning over a wooden doll was almost unbelievable, yet here they were. They were shopping in Val Royeaux when the Inquisitor spotted the doll, and Vivienne felt a little pity for them. After all, the Inquisition’s money was always tight, and a doll was seemingly worthless in the grand scheme of their cause. With a gentle sigh, Vivienne stepped forwards and bought the wooden thing with her own money, which rewarded her with another smile from the Inquisitor. “No need to thank me, my dear. Do keep that out of Sera’s reach, though. I fear she may end up breaking it.”While it was nice to have a devoted leader, they still needed their reasons to smile. Vivienne was many things, and cruel wasn’t one of them. Bluntly honest? Maybe. But never cruel.
Iron Bull: Having a serious leader such as the Inquisitor was somewhat of a change for The Iron Bull. Having been with his boys for so long took away a lot of the seriousness from his own personality, so it was a bit of a difficult transition. They didn’t seem to care for his beautifully crafted puns and endearing nicknames, and was nothing but straight to the point when invited to drink with him and his boys. Bull understood that certain jobs needed to be taken with a certain amount of committedness, though it was a bit of a damper whenever they didn’t respond to a joke or laugh at his foolish nicknames. So, whenever his favorite ‘Vint and lieutenant Krem made a stuffed nug for the Inquisitor to hopefully lighten their mood, Bull was the one to volunteer to give it to them. He brought it to them right after him and the Inquisitor slayed their first dragon together as a ‘congratulations’ for the kill. They eyed the nug carefully before taking it away from Bull, giving him a curt ‘Thank you’ before closing the door to their quarters. He was a little disappointed with their reaction, as he knew Krem would be, though before he left he heard the most suspicious of noises from inside of the Inquisitor’s room. He grinned as he realized the Inquisitor was squealing over their gift, and he swore he could hear them speaking to the stuffed nug as well. “I’ll tell Krem you liked his gift!”Bull called through the door, and the sudden silence was enough to make him laugh. He brought the good news to his boys (And Varric), and they drank over a good kill and finally being able to know what makes the Inquisitor tick.
Cole: Cole didn’t know what to think of the Inquisitor at first. They were bright- Even without the mark they were bright and blinding and good. He didn’t really understand why Sera and some of the others got aggravated at them whenever they were so devoted to sealing the Breach and helping people. He knew they didn’t laugh as much as the others did, but it was only because they didn’t know when to laugh. She grins, a joke meant to be laughed at and shared, but they don’t. An odd look, then embarrassed, but it’s too late to do what they were meant to do, and the joke is ruined. It brings him joy when they find the music box Solas left for them because it makes them happy. It sings a song belonging to skulls and paints a story they don’t know, but they still love it.Winding, winding until it’s wound and sings. It’s so like him, so strange yet so harmonious, like a wolf howling to the sun. How long did it take him? Days, weeks? So pretty yet so tedious- Have to thank him later. Cole doesn’t interrupt them, and instead, watches passively as they hold the box in their lap and hum along to it, the stress of their day melting as the music plays.

Psycho thrillers: five movies that educate us how the attention cultivate
Power, savagery, fatality and reality the movies can educate us plenty about lifes large-scale concerns. From the Godfather to Groundhog Day, five psychologists pick the cinemas that tell us what realizes humen tick
Ten days ago in London, the Hungarian director Lszl Nemes hosted a preview screening of his film, Son of Saul. He explained that if beings didnt want to stay for the Q& A afterwards, that was fine; he wouldnt take personal offence. The gathering chuckled politely. Thats the last laugh youll have for a while, he told them.
Son of Saul Photograph: Rex/ Shutterstock
He was right: Son of Saul out in the UK on Friday is what you might call a taxing watch. Set in Auschwitz in 1944, it presents a era in living conditions of a Sonderkommando, a Jewish captive forced to work in the gas chambers, disposing of the deaths organizations. Almost every frame is filled by the beyond brutalised face of a mortal fated to die and already living in hell.
The film armies you to grapple with “the worlds largest” frightening moral selections imaginable. Should you delude your fellow prisoners into thinking theyre just going for a shower? Can you square a duty to truth-telling with a responsibility not to justification farther damage? Son of Saul requests topics few dare to pose about the human condition. Numerous movies from the sacred to the debase do the same. Here, five leading psychologists look at the classic movies that explore how human beings work.
Groundhog Day by Philippa Perry
Freud caused his patients the chance to re-edit their narrations
Andie MacDowell and Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. Image: Allstar/ Columbia
In Groundhog Day, weatherman Phil Connors lives the same day over and over again. At one point, he has a schmooze in a forbid with two drinks: What would you do if you were stuck in one region and every day was exactly the same and good-for-nothing you did mattered? That simply summing-ups it up for me, replies the wino. Summarizes it up for a lot of us.
Freud inspired patients to tell their narratives and got them to free-associate around their narrative to find out how they thought and experienced about themselves. This rendered his patients the chance to relive, re-examine and maybe re-edit their narrations in terms of the room they impart themselves in the present. Our earliest context has a profound impact upon the americans and anatomies, to a great extent, how we watch and interact with the world.
When we firstly satisfied Connors, played by Bill Murray, whatever happened to him in his past has shaped him grumpy, contemptuous, disruptive and insulting. He is trapped in the narcissistic defence of assuming he is superior to everyone else and we consider parties being circumspect around him and not enjoying his company. In psychotherapy, we often talking here self-fulfilling revelation if you expect everyone not to like you, you behave defensively and, hey presto, your prophecy starts true-life. Being caught in the same day is a metaphor for how he is stuck in this pattern.
Groundhog day also illustrates object relations belief: the hypothesi of how we find bad objects( a negative influence from our past) in objectives that are around us in the present. To find our bad object we search for and find negative characteristics even when, in other peoples sees, there used to be none. For precedent, at the Groundhog Day gala that Phil reports on from the small town of Punxsutawney, he can only determine hypocrisy and satire, whereas the TV creator, Rita( Andie MacDowell ), discovers the grace of institution and the delight it brings to the people. In object relations theory, the relevant recommendations is that the psychoanalyst was becoming good object for the patient, and with the psychoanalysts facilitation individual patients learns good objects where hitherto they could not. Rita is Phils good object and the catalyst in Phils transformation. Her influence begins to rub off. He detects the joy of educating himself in literature, art and music. He acquires out about beings, assisting them and befriending them rather than writing them off and finds out that this has its own reward.
The tradition of Punxsutawney is that if the groundhog, too called Phil, can see its shadow on Groundhog Day, the town will get six more weeks of winter. It takes Phil the weatherman quite a long time to see his darknes more, but when at last he does, the working day miraculously moves on. In Jungian assumption, the darknes refers to negative various aspects of your own personality that you reject and project on to others. There are also positive aspects to the darknes that is still conceal from consciousness. Jung said that everyone carries a shadow and that the less it is embodied in the individuals awareness life, the darker and more destructive it has the potential to be.
Although we dont have the indulgence of living in the same day for as long as it is also necessary in order to recognise how we sabotage ourselves, our missteps do have a garb of happening often enough for us to become aware of them. What remains of our lifespan is hour enough to do something about it.

It explains why the impulse for savagery derived to be a selective programme

The Godfather is not an obvious choice for a mental movie, but its stylised, witticised savagery alleges often about human nature.
Except in war zones, beings are extraordinarily unlikely to die from savagery. Yet from the Iliad through video games, our species has always apportioned time and resources to destroying simulations of violence. The brain seems to run on the adage: If you want quietnes, prepare for conflict. We are mesmerized by the logic of promontory and menace, the psychology of alliance and sellout, the vulnerabilities of their own bodies and how they can be employed or shielded. A likely interpretation is that in our evolutionary record, brutality be a major enough threat to fitness that everyone had to understand how it works.
Among the many subgenres of violent presentation, one with perennial appeal to brows both high and low is the Hobbesian thriller a storey set in a circumscribed zone of chao that saves the familiar trappings of our times, but in which the exponents must live beyond the reach of the modern leviathan( the police and judiciary ), with its monopoly on the legitimate use of force. Examples include westerns, spy thrillers, battlefield dramas, zombie holocausts, seat tale and movies about organised criminal. In a smuggled economy, you cant sue your rivals or call the police, so the credible menace( and occasional expend) of violence is your one protection.
The godfather of Mafia movies is, of course, Francis Ford Coppolas The Godfather trilogy. The screenplays are a goldmine for remarks on the human condition in a state of nature, beyond such constraints of modern institutions. Four wrinkles stand out: in the opening stage, Vito Corleone, having promised to mete out some bumpy justice on behalf of a victimised undertaker “whove been” abandoned by the American leviathan, demonstrates how reciprocity provides as the plaster of traditional societies: Some era, and that day may never return, Ill call upon “youve got to” do a service for me. But until the working day, accept this justice as a gift on my daughters wedding day.
The opening panorama of The Godfather
Following the tragic death of his eldest son, Vito addresses the heads of the rival violation households and shows the tactical rationality of evident irrationality: Im a superstitious male. And if some unlucky coincidence should befall my son, if my son is struck by a bolt of lightning, I will accuse some of the people here. Elsewhere, he elaborates: Coincidences dont happen to people who plow collisions as a personal insult.
A foot soldier of one of these adversaries explains why the inclination for savagery advanced to be a select programme , not an indiscriminate bloodlust or a hydraulic pressing: I dont like violence, Tom. Im a businessman. Blood is a big expense.
And for all our hotheaded counsels, Michael explains the knowledge of ensure your ardours: Never hate your foes. It feigns your judgment.

It shows us that to consolidate in dominance, we must unite others

All art, French social theoretician Pierre Bourdieu debates, is an expression of social class, from the music you experience to the trinkets you put on your walls. Few cinemas, though, have undertaken the class subdivide between the haves and have-nots as imaginatively as Wes Andersons 1998 cinema Rushmore.
The film reveals at Rushmore Academy, a prep school in Houston, Texas, and tells the story of the friendship between schoolboy Max Fischer( Jason Schwartzman ), the son of a barber, and rich industrialist Herman Blume( Bill Murray ). They both fall for a lately bereaved teacher at the school( Olivia Williams ), and resort to misguided tactics to triumph her affection. As this timeless strife undoes, the film illustrates various following principles class and dominance uncovered in psychological science.
The first that affluence is rising unethical and socially detached action is on display at a birthday defendant for Blumes sons, who attend Rushmore Academy with Max. The two sons greedily shred through a collection of presents( and are most enjoyed by a crossbow ). Nearby, Blumes wife flirts blatantly with a young man, while Blume sits far away from the mayhem, languidly convulsing golf balls into his dirty pool.
The puddle vistum in Rushmore
This scene captivates recent considers showing that upper-class individuals are more disposed to impulsive and socially aloof behaviour, including misconstruing others ardours, swearing, lying in recreations to win prizes and flouting the regulation of the road.
Navigating power structure, such as prep schools, is the cause of stress for lower-class individuals, and can heighten levels of the stress-related hormone cortisol. To adapt to such social emphasizes, people from lower-class backgrounds reach out and is attached to others a second principle of class and influence. Studies find that it is parties from lower-class backgrounds who share more, collaborate, attend to others carefully and do acts that unite others, a intend by which they can rise in strength when paucity the advantages of lineage. With brilliant detail, Anderson accompanies this principle to life in Maxs defining social inclination: forming sororities. Max is at the head of every imaginable guild, including the beekeepers culture, the kung fu golf-club and the astronomy squad all touching, quaint acts that discover a deeper principle at participate: to increase in dominance, we must unite others in common cause.

It plays with the question of what we mean by reality

Ken Russells Altered Position is based on a wild time in the 1970 s, when a whole lot of professors took hallucinogenic drugs. One of them, John Lilly, started working with isolation containers where you swim in saltwater in total stillnes, resulting in absolute sensory deprivation with resultant vivid imagery and bizarre sensations.
The films hero is a scientist called Eddie( William Hurt) who starts experimenting with psychedelic drugs to explore other countries of consciousness and our notions of actuality. At one point he emerges from his isolation tank having been transformed into an parrot but Im not so interested in this kind of hopeless fantasy. What interests me is how the cinema manages the altered commonwealths of consciousness. We know that when you take hallucinogenic drugs of this kind, a very early hallucinations are simple, colorful, geometric decorations. Passages and spirals are common, as they are in out-of-body and near-death knowledge. The movie has batch of passageways, and a wonderful maelstrom near the end, where Eddie is being sucked away into oblivion. That is all extravagant cinema material, but the maelstrom leaves a good suffer of hallucinatory know-hows, and is rather well done.
Lilly was trying to understand the nature of actuality, and thats what this movie gamblings with. What do we make by world, regardless? You might say that what we know, and what Eddie in the film presupposed, is that there is a physical actuality and our intelligence interprets it, and that hallucinations are not real. But if you make a hallucinogenic drug into most peoples mentalities, they get remarkably similar experiences.
A lovely detail in the film is where Eddie starts for a formality with an indigenous tribe in Mexico. He is given a tonic, goes into an extreme adjusted territory and considers flows of idols coming out of his body. The hotshots are not real in the sense that there are no white-hot lights flowing from us, but lots of people who take those same doses appreciate the same thing so there is a kind of reality here, a kind of shared experience.
In consciousness analyzes, we struggle with the hard question of consciousness. It is a deep riddle how do subjective know-hows arise from objective intelligence task? We dont know. Numerous people, myself included, say there isnt actually a hard problem. We become dualists in childhood we think that recollection and psyche are divide and thats why we have a problem: how can the knowledge arise from the intelligence? Somehow, we have to see how the two are the same circumstance. Many people have these hallucinatory suffers, or go through intense customs, and claim to have achieved non-duality. We dont get that explanation in this film, but it would be amazing if we did.

The Seventh Seal by Susan Greenfield
Its about the psychology of parties the hope you are going to be better
Ingmar Bergmans film is so striking and implacable, unlike most movies nowadays. A knight, returning from the Crusades to plague-ridden Sweden, is visited by Death, a pale-faced, black-cloaked attribute. They play out a chess coincide which, if the cavalier triumphs, will stave off his demise.
The Seventh Seal
The fact The Seventh Seal is in black and white and was reached in the 1950 s is evidence of its staying appeal, in the same way Greek misfortune weathers it is something that speaks of eternal appraises, folks hopes and anxieties, and is not dependent on current culture. It has been satirised, most famously by Monty Pythons The Meaning of Life, in a sketch in which Death transforms up at a middle-class dinner party. Its funny, but it doesnt detract from the original, where everyone is fated at the end. It is the opposite of the joyous stops of movies we have now.
The film has a very dark, nihilistic feel to it in an age when people are soft and easy. There is one panorama where one of the specific characteristics, an actor, is up a tree, and Death comes to looked through it. He expects him who he is, and Death says he has come for him. The man adds its not his time, he has his performance to do. Death enunciates: Its cancelled. Because of death. All the fantasies and hopes you have are annulled because of death.
Im not recognizing also that Bergman was inevitably expounding any particular mental assumption, but he does talks about the silence of God, which perhaps for many parties echoes true. I think it is about the psychology of beings the hope that you are going to be better and different, to think that you can get away with things.
The knight goes to confession and starts to tell the priest about the chess move he is going make and, of course, the clergyman is Death. You cant overcome fatality and all of us are playing chess with demise, in a way hoping well be the one who wont get cancer, wont have a heart attack, that this happens to other people , not us. I think there is that mentality in numerous parties, and this film brings it home to you. I am an rosy party, and it clears me appreciate life because of its highly transient and arbitrary nature.
