gojo ☆ satoru
“could be here for hours—shit baby, y’taste so fuckin’ sweet.”
his praises fall deaf to your ears as your mind blanks, brain melting to mush at the overwhelming sensation of his tongue lapping at your folds. your hands claw at his snowy white tresses, fingers carding through his hair and tugging onto his scalp.
when satoru ate pussy, he put his entire being in it— and it only got worse on the rare occasions you’d do him the favour of sitting on his face. he’d never half ass such an opportunity, long fingers gripping onto your ass tightly and spreading the cheeks apart to flick his tongue between the private spaces.
“talk to me princess, tell me how good it feels.” he pops your clit out of his mouth, warm breath fanning over the bundle of nerves. you jolt from the strange yet pleasurable feeling, muscles tensing and contracting over his face, resulting in your slick to drip down onto his chin, staining his face even more in your arousal. “c’mon, flatter me, pretty baby.”
“f-fuck, toru, don’t stop!” you moan wantonly, fat tears building at your lash line. your thighs press at the side of his head when he hums against your clit, diving deeper into your weeping cunt. he drags an index finger from the crevice of your ass all the way up front to your swollen clit, collecting slick along the way. “‘s great— so fuckin’ good, ngh, please—keep going!”
your stomach tightens when you feel his digit slip into your clenching pussy, plunging knuckle deep. you can’t help the moan that rips at your throat, toes curling as he immediately aims for the spongy spot that has you seeing stars.
you look down at him and you’ve got the prettiest look on your face— eyes misty with tears, your flushed cheeks stained with fallen tears you couldn’t contain, pouty lips glossy and trembling. draping over your frame is his button up top, unbuttoned all the way down, perky buds from your breast rising up in arousal.
gojo feels his balls tighten at your lewdness alone. he’s so hard it hurts, thighs rubbing one against the other for relief. if you keep digging your nails into his scalp in that painful way you do, rocking your hips into his face and swallowing him whole inside your cunt to use him in order to chase your own pleasure, he’s bound to cum untouched.
only you could pull something like this out of him.
his eyes darken in the way it does whenever he’s particularly on a high about something passionate, and he knows from that pleading look in your blown out pupils that he’s got to make you blackout. not entirely for your own pleasure, but for his own too. there was no better feeling in this world than being sprayed by your essence all in his face, folds gaping and clenching down on his fingers as your clit weeped and released your juices pathetically.
you’re not even sure when it happens but one minute you’re facing the headboard of your bed and the next your head dangles off the edge of the bed, back laid on the mattress with your legs hanging off his broad shoulders.
gojo gives you no time to process the switch in positions as he lays flat on his stomach and latches his kiss bitten lips onto your cunt. he swipes his tongue and eats you out like a mad man— spreading your folds with his hands and fucking into your tight hole with his tongue. your back arches and your hands fly to grip at his head, torn between pushing head head deeper or further away. it’s all too much at once, both pleasurable and overwhelming, your thighs trembling from the sting.
“heh, look at this creamy pussy go,” you hear him whistle in between your thighs, though it comes out muffled. he’s gripping so tightly onto your thighs that you’re sure it’s going to leave bruises, hair cascading his face despite his dark orbs peaking through the bangs. “shit, ‘m gonna keep you with me forever, never letting this pussy go.”
when he flicks his tongue at your swollen clit, your hips rise off from the mattress and you push his head away, the numbing sensation overtaking your limbs and gut tightening in a familiar way. you hear him tut disapprovingly, forcing your hips down and you’re left powerless but to lay there and let this blinding orgasm wash over you.
“‘s too much— oh god, toru, fuck— ‘m cumming, don’t—baby, don’t stop!” you babble, saliva dribbling past your lips. you begin to feel lightheaded from the blood rushing to your brain, and the airy feeling leaves you feeling like you’re floating, one hand leaving his matted hair to grip at your neglected tits, firmly groping the mound.
all it takes is an additional slip of his fingers into your gushing cunt to release its dam, his end goal accomplished as your folds greedily suck him in. your pussy wails and cries onto his face, squirting all over him from his forehead to nose and chin. through it all, your body rakes and shudders, trembles taking over as you cry out his name.
he holds your free hand through it all, pupils dilated as he himself trembles in amusement, thumb brushing the soft skin of your knuckles.
“give it all t’me princess, be the good fuckin’ girl you are and soak me in your essence— needa taste ya, sweetest fuckin’ thing ever, i swear.”
fushiguro ☆ toji
“oh yeahhh, that’s it mama—keep throwin’ it back, shit, gonna breed this greedy pussy full’a cum.”
you respond with an overly eager moan, hips pushing back to slam your ass down to his pelvis. you’re beyond your element—mind both dazed and consumed with alcohol and lust, glossy lips parted as you fog the mirror before you with your warm breath.
you plant the surface of your palms at the mirror, skin moist as you hold onto the glass for stability. standing on the tip of your toes, your calves are put into overtime as you sink down on toji’s dick, your pussy well spent and spread to accommodate to his inhumanely girth. he stretches your folds painfully, but the feeling is one you welcome dearly as his tip kisses areas inside of you that has you thanking him endlessly and going as far to wanting him to fuck you full of his cum.
bent over in a ninety degree, toji grips onto your hair in one tight hold, pulling your head back up. he forces you to stare at the mess he makes out of you, and you watch as your tears leak black from mascara, staining your cheeks dark and saliva dribbles from your lips to your chin. your skin is matted from sweat and other liquids, eyes dazed and unfocused as his balls repeatedly slap at your puffy clit.
“fuckin’ whore— awe, just look at ya,” toji mocks, the hand holding your hips letting go of the flesh and flattens his palm instead to slap at your ass. you moan at the sting, your skin tingling in pain as the skin reddens from the harsh impact.
“think i ain’t notice, doll?” your eyes roll up to watch him, his smirk as prominent as ever through the reflection of the mirror. his own locks are matted to his forehead, and he bares his fangs at you in a smile that sends shivers down your spine. “y’think i don’t feel yer cunt squeezin’ me in? you fuckin’ love it when ‘m mean with you, ‘fess it up mama.”
you chew on your bottom lip, slightly embarrassed by the truth being revealed. you could call him the worst man on the planet, mean and relentless, but at least he knew how to fuck you inside out. you shake your head in denial, but when the hand in your hair snakes to your throat, fingers pressing down on the column of your neck tightly—you moan at the lack of oxygen coursing in your body.
“answer me when i ask you somethin’, basic fuckin’ manners sweetheart.” toji kisses his teeth, pulling your body up by the neck. your sweaty back meets his sweaty chest, and you feel him panting against your temple just as you can see him nuzzle his nose against your hair.
he’s grinding into your cunt in motions that has his cock rubbing at your sensitive spots, his pelvis pressed right up against your ass. you reach your hand behind to grip onto his thigh, squeezing the firm muscle and the other wraps itself around toji’s hold on your neck, as you’re overtaken by the familiar beating of your cunt clenching down on his throbbing dick.
“fuckkk, love it daddy! love it when y’re mean t’me—love it when you fuck me s’good—ngh!” you cry out, tears soaking your cheeks and breast jiggling in rotations built by a rhythm made from the man pounding into you.
“there’s my slutty girl,” you feel his hand pat at your cheek, the sting making you loll your tongue out of the cave of your mouth. he plunges his teeth into the supple flesh of your neck, sucking eagerly as he marks down his territory.
you drive him mad— something about the way you comply to his every desire no matter how you feel about it, just to please him, had his cock twitching in ways it’d never had. your sweet and innocent demeanour completely consumed and taken over by his sinister and malicious ways, moulding your pussy into the shape of his cock so it would only obey to him and him alone.
his green eyes zero into your facial expressions and he can both tell and feel that you’re close, your cunt clamping down on his dick whenever he grinds up against that sweet spot that has your legs quaking and barely able to hold yourself up. naturally he wants to bring you that finish— selfishly, that way you’re stuck on him and obsessed with his dick alone.
he’ll remind you endlessly nobody else could ever make you feel this good, just as nobody else could ever have him deliriously possessive the way you do.
“‘m gonna fuck this slutty pussy so good, nobody will ever come close to fuckin’ you dumb— shit, might fuck around and fill my pretty pussy full of my cum.”
geto ☆ suguru
“shit baby—‘m gonna need you to relax f’me—fuck, loosen up—we gotta make it fit, right?”
you’re barely half way sunken down on his dick, the stretch painful enough as your arms are thrown around his broad shoulders for stability. it hurts in a way that makes you either want to get it over with and fully slam yourself down on the rest of the inches or completely take off, but the gentle thudding of geto’s finger tips at the base of your back has you rethink your decisions.
geto’s aware that the size of his dick isn’t the most accommodating for beginners, much less virgins. but you’d been so eager to take care of him and willing to give yourself to him, to want him to deflower you, take your innocence and purity and keep it in his possession— there was no way he would refuse you of anything.
“ngh, sugu— fuck, it hurts!” you squeal, thighs aching from the awkward angle. he’s holding your body entirely from your ass alone, gently playing with the soft flesh in attempts to distract you from the excruciating pain.
he places kisses at your cheek, nuzzling into your smooth skin with a sympathetic sigh, “mhm, i know baby, i know.” his whispers fall short into your ears, noticing the goosebumps on your skin trailing. “just a few more inches, kay? you’re so close—y’got this mama.”
you’re so adorable, he thinks, as simple words are enough for you to nod, wiping your tears away with the back of your hand. you sit up straight, nose grazing over his, and he leans forward to kiss your lips. you’re so distracted by the sweetness of his lips onto yours, tongue slipping in between your swollen lips that you fail to notice you’ve officially bottomed out.
geto eases your body down onto the rest of his cock, and groans when you clamp tightly onto his dick. you’re so tight he feels like he’s being suffocated, and even with all the prepping and squirting from prior, you still hadn’t been entirely ready to take him in.
though, the hard part is over, as you cry out into his mouth— fresh tears now staining your pretty cheeks and rolling onto geto’s face as well. he almost feels bad, but there were many layers to him— and he was extremely turned on by yours tears. knowing you were in a state of painful pleasure that brought you to tears, lashes thick and wet as you wailed and seeker comfort from him despite him being the reason you’re crying—
it has his balls ache terribly.
“there we go princess, just like that.” geto encourages you, one arm wrapped behind your back and the other holding onto your hips firmly. the back of your heels dig at his lower back, your chest pressing against his. “you’re taking me so well, shit, you feel so fuckin’ good.”
he takes note of the thin veil of dark red that coats the perimeter of his dick, realizing he’s finally popped your cherry— and he isn’t sure he can put into words the weird feeling that has him smirk ferociously in a primitive way. shamefully, he’s filled with pride that he’d been your very first time and disgustingly enough, he slips his hand between both your bodies, collects the evidence of your purity now taken away, before rubbing the liquid onto your neglected clit.
“forgive me, princess.” he mumbles into your ear, a gentle kiss pressed to the shell of your ear in major contrast to the sudden pain throbbing in your core at the newfound position.
you then understand by his relentless thrusts, your legs now draped over his shoulders as his hips meet the back of your thighs in rhythmic slaps, that he had been asking for your forgiveness because he wouldn’t be able to hold back any further.
“promise it’ll stop hurting soon—fuck, you wanna hold out for me, baby?” he never stops his thrusts, interlocking both your fingers together before pressing them above your head. his eyes stare deep into your soul, and behind those purple orbs you see your reflection intertwined with a mischievous glint. and when you nod your head, he tilts his own, “use your words, love.”
“y-yes suguru—want you to fuck me! i’ll hold out for as long as you n-need me to! i promise!” you roll your hips up to match the pace he has set. he rises his body up and slams down into your cunt, and you greedily accept him, muscles relaxing into the pain that slowly dissipates into pleasure.
you’d never felt anything like it before, but the way geto repeatedly fucked into you, his dick dragging against your walls and coming out slicker than the last time he plunged inside made the room stink of sex and echo with sinful squelches. his cock rubs at your virgin walls, spreading you open as you helplessly lay and take everything he has to offer you.
your toes curl at the sides of his head and your back arches— you’re effortlessly gorgeous when you’re milking his dick dry for what he’s worth, greedy pussy sucking him in so well, you could’ve easily fooled him into thinking you’d been experienced in this domain.
when he hangs his head low to watch how his dick enter and disappear inside the void of your tight cunt, he notices the bulge in your tummy. he can’t help the grumble that leaves his chest, ultimately obsessed by the pudge that forms at your pussy simply because you allowed him the honour to properly make love to you.
“whew, ‘s that me in there baby? shit— y’re driving me insane, ‘m gonna make you cum real hard, you’ll be cryin’ and beggin’ for more— oh yeah, you like that?”
nanami ☆ kento
“need you to hold still for me, sweetheart—shit, let me finish you up nice and good like you deserve, hm?”
nights like these, there were no logical reasoning as to whatever urge to passionately make love to you, to devour you whole and to make you crumble beneath him. anything could fuel the sudden want to strip you naked, body to soul, to sink his cock deep inside the cave of your warmth and have you come undone for him alone.
nanami loved it whenever you presented yourself so submissively to him, so obeying and willing to comply to his word. you were his wife, and he was truly and utterly obsessed with your entire being. to him, there was no prettier sight than your pussy dribbling slick from its puffy folds, clenching around air as it desperately calls out his name.
you laid on your knees with your cheek pressed into the mattress of your shared bed, hands bind and tied behind the back of your thighs by his infamous tie. you were restrained, most sacred parts of your body open for his accessibility alone. your entire body shivered, coming down from the high that nanami’s tongue brought to you, lapping at your folds and puckered hole, fingers pumping with precision into your cunt.
“kento, ngh, i need you, can’t wait any longer— please!” you squirm as much as your restricted form allows you to, wiggling your ass side to side as if to sway him to your desires.
you had to know there wasn’t anything you could ask him that he wouldn’t give you. begging was so below you, as his partner— there was nothing you needed to beg him for. he supposes he’s at fault for making you wait as long as he did, and he’s got no choice but to correct his mistake, to make you forgive his bad actions.
“stay still love, ‘m gonna fuck you real good now— don’t you worry, pretty girl.” he presses his kisses from the bottom of your back, the mounds of your ass, and makes his way up your spine, trailing his kisses to the column of your neck.
he revels in the way you shiver uncontrollably, your frame fragile and petite in comparaison to his larger one. you smell a scent too divine—an aura so sweet, so honeyed and so unmistakably you.
he collects your slick with two fingers, dragging the pad of his fingers at your weeping cunt, before coating his own raging hard on in your essence. he’d been so needy for you, mind clouded in trances of your body, that you hadn’t even needed to focus any attention on his dick for it to get to this point of arousal. bringing you to a state of blinding pleasure was enough of a stimulus to get him ready to go.
grabbing the base of his dick, he lines himself up at your entrance, dragging his mushroom tip up and down your folds. you whine and beg him to to push up inside, to fill you up to the brim, so full that all you can think about is the pattern of veins on the underside of his cock brushing at your golden spot.
when nanami finally does bottom out, you both release moans that sync in a melodious tune, the harmony of both your bodies and soul merging into one clouding his mind with primitive lust. he starts off slow, pushing in and out of your cunt, hissing at your tightness despite having fingered you open not too long ago.
“‘m losing my mind baby,” nanami breathes out, hands gripped tight at your hips. he quickens his pace, balls slapping at your clit in patterns as your body jerks forward. “your pussy feels heavenly—shit, so warm and tight and all mine.”
“yes sir, it’s all yours— always have been, always will be k-kento!” you whine, the surface below you dampened from your tears and drool. you catch his gaze from your angle, your lashes fluttering prettily as you wordless encourage him further.
he reads you like a book, he reads your soul and knows you better than he knows anybody. and so, he pistons his cock in your eager entrance, thrusts long and deep as your pussy grips onto his shaft greedily. you moan, toes curling as your fingers reach for him despite not being able to due to the cloth restraining you. your back arches and the shift in angles has his tip immediately locating your sweet spot.
“oh f-fuck!” you wail, body shuddering as you’re overwhelmed by an intense pleasure. you feel nanami’s hands trail over your skin, down your back, caressing your ass, the back of your thighs. “hah, right there sir— please don’t stop, hngh, ‘m gonna cum!”
and of course nanami knows this, already a step ahead of you as he leans forward, arms holding him up at the side of your shoulders. he puts a hand between your thighs and through the loop of his tie to focus his attention on your neglect clit, drawing figure eight patterns on the bundle of nerves.
you keep sucking him in, and he must be growing old the way it’s becoming so much easier to draw him to the finish line. nanami knows better— it’s the entirety of you, from the way you sound when you whine and beg him for relief, to the way your body reacts so fluidly with his, the way your eyes linger a moment longer on his own. he’s head over heels in love with your entire being, and it’s no shocker that when you cry out his name and soak both of your thighs in your sweet honey, that he himself feels his balls empty into your womb.
“shittt—there we go my love, take all of my cum like the perfect wife you are, mmh, just like that—my pretty little thing.”
kamo ☆ choso
“oh f-fuck, ‘m so sorry princess, it just— shit, it feels so fuckin’ good—need some more!”
load after load, your boyfriend shoots his cum inside your cunt without warning, hips stuttering and rutting into your sucking void. it doesn’t bother you as much as he thinks it does, though you are concerned that he’s going to fuck himself into a blackout with how eager he is to bring you to the finish line.
porn had nothing on real sex, choso concluded when he finally sunk his full length into your cunt and immediately came. there’d been no movement or warning, but as soon as his balls met the lips of your pussy, you moaned at the hot rush of cum spurting inside of you.
he’d been so winded, his fingernails left moon crescents into your flesh as he emptied out his first load of semen into your womb. he shivered and whined, your name rolling off his tongue in a desperate plea as his premature ejaculation washed over his body in waves.
by the time he’d come down from his orgasm, you’d caressed his cheek and pushed his hair away from his face, kissed him and told him this sort of thing happened often. he was still a bit embarrassed by the disaster but the gentle look of honesty in your eyes and your pretty smile had reassured him rather quickly— and also got him hard again.
“take your time baby, ‘m not goin’ anywhere.” you nod your head while giggling, sprawling your body down to your mattress. choso sits on the back of his feet and pulls his dick out, hissing as your pussy grips onto him despite his protest to slip out. eventually he pulls out and he’s enamoured by the way his seed spills out of your pretty hole, liquid filthily staining the sheets beneath you both.
you lick the tip of your index and middle finger, coating the digits in your saliva before slipping them in the space between both your bodies. you keep firm eye contact with your boyfriend as he watches you with hearts in his eyes, your other hand trailing up your chest to tweak at the buds of your hardened nipples.
you collect his creamy cum from your cunt, bringing it back up to your plump lips and licking your fingers clean. you moan at the taste of him, so overwhelming and strong but undoubtedly him.
“cho, baby, you taste fuckin’ so good,” you plop your fingers out of your mouth, and smile in faux innocence. he’s quiet and gulping in anticipation, dick twitching at the entrance of your folds. he’s already dribbling more pre come, tip of his shady sticky and ready to dive into your gaping pussy, aiming to please you more and more, until you yourself feel as good as you were able to make him feel just now.
and so, pushing himself on his knees, he begins his rutting yet again, grabbing the base of his cock and lining himself at your puffy lips. he grabs your hips firmly and lifts you off the bed as he bottoms out, your ass falling onto his lap and fucks into you desperately. his thrusts come out sharp and harsh, penetrating so deep inside your pussy and rubbing at areas that had your vision go unfocused.
“oh fuck, b-baby, shit— oh my fuckin’— you feel so good, y’re killing me here!” choso throws his head back, sweat dripping down from his matted hair to his bare chest. his stomach contracts and he pants heavily, his hold on your hips tight. he’s fucking into you as if you were a fleshlight— a mere toy he’s discovered that he isn’t willing to stop playing with.
it doesn’t bother you the second time he cums inside your pussy and apologizes, it doesn’t the second and it doesn’t during the third time either. at every orgasm he’s taken over by, you feel yourself drawing towards the end of the finish line, that high so near that when it’s taken away from you suddenly, it’s annoyingly great.
he’s unintentionally edging you, and despite your whines and pleas, fingers messily rubbing at your clit in attempts to draw some kind of blinding conclusion, he cums yet again, filling you to the brim.
“fuckkkk, hah, ‘m so sorry baby— promise i’ll get it right this time, ngh, gimme another c-chance!”

w/c: 3.4k
The week had been different without you here. Your presence called Sevika, even when you weren't with her. Just seeing you in the morning when you got your mail, or when you got home from running errands and she offered to carry on your groceries. Little things that were different when you were away.
You had told her what was happening - you were going to your brother-in-law's wedding, and your husband insisted on making a short vacation out of it. She didn't even remember where the wedding was behind held; the night you were explaining it, she had just fucked you so hard that she couldn't focus on anything but the sight of her strap in your cunt.
It was rough.
But, now that she was back to her senses, it was hard for her to imagine anything but you in a white gown, walking down the aisle towards her. You never spoke of your wedding to her, and what she'd seen from her time in your house, you had no pictures of it.
It made her wonder if you ever had a do over, would you like it more? She would've made any of your hopes and dreams of a wedding come true if it made you happy, made you want to decorate your home with pictures from it.
You were far from having the time of your life. Your husband had left you hours ago to go do groomsmen things, leaving you alone in a large hotel, in a boring town you had never been in before. You didn't have to agree to this. You wondered why you did in the first place, you knew it was going to be like this.
But, you powered through nonetheless. When the time came, you slipped on your dress and did your hair and makeup to a T, finishing the look with tall heels and a handbag. You had already decided on your plan - you would attend the ceremony, briefly peek into the reception to wish them congratulations, and then steadily leave. Weddings were not your thing anymore, not since yours was ruined.
Everything got to you quickly. Your dress was irritating, your heels were uncomfortable, the gems on the strap of your handbag were digging into your shoulder. Your plan was definitely going to happen, there was no way you could live like this longer than two hours.
Their ceremony was gorgeous. Similar to the one you had hoped for. It was outside, facing the water, and they had string lights that decorated the trees. The sun was beginning to set as it began, and by the time it was finished, dusk had reached its peak. The bride's dress was large and detailed and gorgeous, the bridesmaids were dressed in a series of her favorite colors.
You could've cried.
Luckily, though, you didn't. You did what you were aiming to do, wishing them a kind congratulations and giving your husband a mediocre excuse before leaving and going back up to your room. The room was on the highest floor of the hotel, and it overlooked the water and where the ceremony had been. You could see the reception taking place, but you didn't feel called to return.
Instead, you rid yourself of your dress and heels, tossed your bag to the side, and let out the semi-decent hairstyle that you had put in. Now you were more comfortable, but still with nothing to do.
You glanced over at the night stand where your phone was plugged in, and you remembered how Sevika had given you her phone number weeks prior. That called you.
You moved away from the hotel vanity and plopped down on the bed, unplugging your phone and searching through your contacts to find her name. You weren't in your usual time zone, but you hoped she wouldn't be disturbed. You didn't bother figuring out what time it was at home.
You clicked the video call button and it rang several times before she appeared on screen. You wondered if you had disrupted her, especially since she was in her bed and rolled over, looking back at you. “Hi Vika,” you said, timidly. “Did I wake you? I can hang up. I don’t want to bother you.” She chuckled, voice deeper than it tended to be, sleepier.
“You couldn’t be a bother if you banged on pots and pans at two in the mornin’, peach.” Blush crept up your neck and chest, kissing your cheeks, and you knew she could tell. “You don’t look like you’re at a wedding reception, sugar. How’s it going?” With a sigh, you rolled onto your stomach and propped the phone up.
“I’m bored out of my mind. Not that I only call when I’m bored. I simply find you enjoyable to talk to. But, my husband is off dancing with other women, I know nobody, and it’s dark, so I can’t walk around town. I miss home. I miss you.” Sevika could’ve doubled over at the insinuation that those two things were connected. Her and home. She wasn’t ever going to tell anyone this, but you felt like her home as well.
“Well, home ain’t felt the same without you. Had to tell your neighbors where you were, they missed y’r company at Sunday dinner,” she smiled, envisioning how much of a delight you must be to have over regularly, during the day, when other people were allowed to see you together. “Was the ceremony nice? You mentioned somethin’ about it bein’ everythin’ you wished for last week. Wanna hear about it.”
You groaned at the slight idea of it, and didn’t hesitate to talk her ear off. You went into extravagantly small detail about what your dream wedding was, and how it correlated to theirs. You let it split that your husband didn’t let you choose anything, and Sevika’s heart stung for you. It was easy to talk to her, about anything really.
“What’s y’r favorite flower?” Sevika asked, when you mentioned that they had an intricate flower set up. When you told her, she hummed with a smirk. “When you get back, come to my garden. I have dozens of ‘em. I’ll even make you a bouquet.”
Sevika had to change the subject. She couldn’t bear the thought of you walking down the aisle in everything she could possibly give you - your dream dress, dream ceremony, dream bouquet. It was physically harming her, to keep thinking of you like this. She was just about ready to explode.
“So, Vika,” you broke the silence, dragging out your ‘o’. “How’s your week been? Tell me about it.” She smiled at your immediate need to fill the silence with something about her.
“I’ve seen Jinx and them a few times, went for drinks. They asked about you, wanna know when y’r comin’ around again. Told ‘em I’d take it up with the mrs.” She winked at you, and the feeling of being called her ‘mrs’ was one of beauty. “Fixed up my car, worked on my arm, the usual.” She adjusted the phone so that you could see her better, leaning back against the headboard with her phone low in her hand.
The spot where her other arm would be was out, no mechanics attached to it. You looked at the sight for a while, marveling at how, even without an arm, she managed to keep her shoulder built. “Sev, can I ask you something?” You met her eyes.
“There was a bombing at my ol’ job,” she responded, calmly. “Took that puppy clean off. I ain’t been back to work since.” There was a hint of vulnerability in her words. It hurt her to explain to others. She perceived herself and she knew others perceived her as a strong woman who could easily do anything she wanted, and the idea of her not working was one that made her erupt in embarrassment. “I’m thinkin’ about goin’ back, though.”
“You’re brave, Sevika,” you spoke softly, and the gentleness of her tone tugged at her heart, tears welling in her eyes. She wiped them before you could see. “I mean it. I don’t think I could ever go back to work anywhere after something like that.”
“Well ain’t you just the sweetest,” she laughed, trying to mask her true emotion. “I appreciate it, sweetheart. Truly. But I gotta get off my ass one of these days.” This was deeply embarrassing for her, the entire thing. Here she was, blabbing to a woman who probably didn’t really like her about real life problems, that made her sound like some lazy bitch chasing a disability check.
“Well, maybe I can help you job search when I get back? My mom used to do that for a living, I know how. I know it must be hard, since you’re old and all.” You took a playful dig, trying to diffuse the awkward energy you felt from the kindness of the comment you made.
Sevika broke out laughing, head thrown back. A gorgeous sound, one that didn’t frequently bless your ears. “I’m five years older than you!” She protested, still laughing. “I can job search on my own if you’re gon’ act like that.” You rolled your eyes, doing your best to contain your grin.
“I wish I was there with you right now,” you said quietly, making the conversion take a somber turn. “This whole night has been terrible. God, my dress was the worst thing I could’ve brought. Oh my god, and my handbag! It was digging into my shoulder and-” she cut you off, but truthfully you didn’t mind.
“What’re you wearin’ now? ‘m sure you looked beautiful, bunny.” In that moment, you felt the mood switch. And honestly, that’s why you called her in the first place, deep down. The way you talked was amazing and you craved more of it, but every time you were in her presence there was a drag of tingly feelings that erupted in your pelvis.
It was that name, truly. It worked the same on you as some of the others she had - the special ones, that she only used when she had you as putty in her hands. Baby, bunny, pretty girl.
“Thank you,” you propped the phone up and crawled out of the bed, presenting her with your body. “My husband didn't make any comments about how I looked,” you sighed. That wasn't what Sevika was concerned with, though. With a lick of her bottom lip, she scanned your body as you did a twirl, taking in your oversized shirt and lack of pants.
Your panties were pink, and she longed to add them to her collection. She kept the pair that you stripped every time you came over, but she washed them, so you always had a clean pair to leave in. To your surprise, the action didn't creep you out as much as you thought it would, or at all.
“Well he's fucking crazy,” she said, eyes drilling into where the shirt was riding up on your hip. “You're gorgeous,” she was trying hard to control herself, but you simply looked breathtaking. “Fuck, I wish I could touch you. Wish you were here, sugar.” you giggled.
“Well I'll be home soon enough.” You felt strange promising yourself to a woman when you were married. But at the same time, it felt so right. “Then you can touch me all you want.” Sevika sucked her bottom lip into her mouth, tilting her head back with a smirk before rolling over on her side and propping up her phone.
“You can't be sayin’ shit like that to me, sweetheart.” Her voice dropped an octave, her smooth and sexy tone coming out, that she only used when she planned on fucking you within an inch of your life.
“Why's that?” You said sweetly, climbing back into the bed and using one of the millions of spare pillows to prop up your phone in front of you. You were laid back against the headboard, pillow propping up your phone just enough that it gingerly caught the sight of your hips as you sat with your knees to the side in front of it.
“You really like testin’ me, don'tcha peach?” you nodded with a smile. “Why don't you show me what you've got underneath that shirt, huh?” You pretended to think about it for a moment before shifting onto your knees in front of the phone and dragging your shirt slowly over your head.
You were still teasing her - the camera angle was still just barely showing the width of your hips, so she couldn't get a good look of the dip between your thighs. The bra you were wearing matched your panties; it was a soft material in a similar light pink, and without the shirt, Sevika drooled over the high cut of your panties, the combination making your figure look lethal.
“How's that?” You couldn't contain your giggles, teasing her being so much fun. The way her eyes darkened and drilled into your skin like lasers made your stomach flutter.
“Fuck,” she groaned. “When you get home 'm gonna fuck you till you can't speak.” Sevika couldn't understand why this was affecting her so much. You were sitting in a bra and panties, it wasn't like you were nude and bent over. “Take off your bra, sweet thing. Let me see you.”
Your heart was thrumming as you reached behind and unclasped your bra. You didn't strip it immediately, you slid the straps over your shoulders and down the top of your arms, taking it slow. She watched you, eyes darting between each strap until you had it off. Her clit was beating more than it ever had, she was convinced.
It came to her suddenly why you were making her feel this way so dramatically: you were in control. She could tell you to fuck yourself on your fingers, stick your panties in your mouth, bend over, but at the end of the day, you still had her wrapped around your finger. It was your choice how slow you shed your bra, your choice on what you did and how you did it. She was living for it.
“How far’r you tryna go, pretty?” With a hand sliding up to your tit, you cocked your head at her.
“As far as you want to, Vika.” You rolled your nipple between your fingers, putting on an all time show for her. Your head lolled back and you let out a breathy moan, rolling your hips forward against nothing.
The simple pinch didn't make you feel as much as you seemed like it did, but you longed for Sevika to look at you the way she was. “Play with your tits for me, baby. Think about my mouth on them.” That part was easy. Sevika's lips fit perfectly around your nipple, and the feelings she elicited from you made you incredibly wet.
“Sev,” you moaned, each hand on either tit while you ground your hips. You whimpered, bouncing slightly to make it look as if you were riding her cock.
“Take off your panties, princess. Show me your pretty pussy,” with a whine from the lack of attention to your tits, you slid your panties from your legs and shifted the camera as you laid back. The angle was phenomenal - your pussy was in front of her and you were laid out, biting your lip as you waited for further instructions. “Oh, she's so pretty. My pretty bunny.” You rolled your hips towards her, spreading your lips so that she could see the slick drenching your folds with a moan.
“Wanna see you,” you insisted, and to your surprise, she did as asked. She copied your camera angled, propping a pillow up between her legs and stripping herself of her pajama pants. It left her in a wife pleaser and a pair of boxers, down turned gaze dark as she watched your movements.
“Tease y’r clit, angel. Show me how a good girl does it.” You let out a whine again, her dirty words causing a flood between your legs. You teased your clit, rubbing it gently and making sure she got a show. Your circles were slow, making your need grow as she looked at you like her next meal. “Show me how you needa get fucked, sugar plum.”
You wasted no time pushing the first knuckle of your finger in, going knuckle by knuckle until you were bottomed out inside of yourself. You were quick to find that it wasn't enough, and you joined it with a second finger promptly. You started slow, but with the way Sevika spoke to you and the way your fingers felt against your g spot, you couldn't keep the pace.
“That's it, that's what my pretty girl needs,” she said as your speed grew rapid. You were hitting just right, other hand pinching your nipple as you relived the night you had with her weeks ago. When you gazed down, you noticed her large hand under her boxers, wrist moving in slow circles. She caught your eye with a smirk. “Oh baby, you feel so good.” She moaned, trying to fuck with your head.
And, well, it worked. Your heart beat faster and your stomach grew tight, somehow going faster than you were before. “Vika, need you,” you whimpered, back arching from the bed as your eyes rolled back.
“That's it my girl, cum all over your fingers for me. Y’r gon’ get fucked so good when you get home, fuck, y’r the best girl in the world,” she groaned, her own cunt clenching around her fingers. She accent always got thicker when she got close, arousal clouding her mind as she imagined you there with her, letting her fuck you any way she wanted.
She had thought about that deeply. She spent nights awake fantasizing about things you could do to you - dirty things that she wouldn't ever tell you until you brought them up to her. She thought about tying you down to her bed and leaving you there, fucking you whenever and wherever she wanted to, tying up your husband and forcing him to watch her fuck your brains out. She wanted to gag you and spank you and see how your pliant body reacted to everything. She could admit that she thought about it far too much.
You came with a rush, like a band snapping in your stomach, drenching your fingers and the bed beneath you. Sevika cooed at you, but she was busy pulling herself to her own orgasm, and you were delighted that you got to watch. You met her eyes and slid your fingers from within you, bringing them to your lips and sucking your cum off of them. You stuck your tongue out, rolling it around your fingers just to make sure they were extra clean.
She got louder as she got close, and she fell over the edge with a deep groan. “You're so good baby, such a good girl.” She moaned, obsessed with the idea of your submission. Her orgasm was something that she had never given herself, and it was fucking mine blowing.
You slipped your panties back on, not bothering with the bra as you threw your shirt back over your head. Sevika sucked her fingers clean as you did, except she made no effort to make it sensual. It simply was. “You look mighty fine, peach.” She smiled.
“Why thank you, Sevy,” you smiled back, bringing the phone to you as you rolled on your side. “You certainly made my day better. I can't wait to see you again.” You mimicked her smile. She was truly beautiful.
“I can't wait either, princess. I ain't never liked someone the way I like you.” Your heart fluttered. For longer than a moment, the thought of leaving your husband danced in your brain.
Your lovely moment was abruptly cut short when the room door opened, and your husband stumbled in with a woman on his arm. You hung up the phone without a second thought or warning, shooting up from the bed and looking at him with fire in your eyes.
He said your name, releasing the girl and stumbling towards you. You moved out of the way, letting him fall onto the bed and dismissed the girl. And for a moment, you just looked at him. This was your life, this was your husband. A man who comes back to the hotel drunk with another woman, and you were immediately faced with the reality that you were just as bad.
Truthfully, that was disturbing.

You barely made it past the front door when your body gave up the charade. Like it had been so wired together with caffeine and pure fucking spite, like every muscle had been clenched so tight for so long that the moment your brain registered home, everything unspooled at once.
You go-bag slid from your shoulder, the strap half biting for half a second before it was gone. You think you heard it hit the floor. Think you heard the keys, still clenched in your uncooperative fingers, rattle against the table. Shoes still on. Jacket too. But taking it off required effort, and you'd run out of that hours ago. The couch was there, and then so were you. Face-first, half-breathing, half-existing.
The sigh that pushed from your chest felt endless, like it had been lodged inside you for days. Weeks maybe. Years.
The house was quiet. Unnaturally so.
No padding feet, no sticky hands pulling at your sleeve, no stubborn, sleepy voices demanding one more story before bed. Jessica had taken Jack and your two-year-old, Bella, insisting that you and Aaron need real sleep after back-to-back cases.
You should have been relieved. It should have felt like a luxury. Should have.
Aaron's voice reached you from somewhere behind. "Well, aren't you dramatic."
You exhaled, too drained to even roll your eyes, barely mustering the energy to glance at him over the arm of the couch. He was by the door, still half in shadow, arms loose at his sides and watching you with that look on his face that he got sometimes, the one that said you were both completely insane and completely adored, all in equal measure.
You made a noise. Not words, not quite a groan either, the sound barely making it past the cushions.
"That bad?"
You lifted a limp arm and let it flop back onto the couch.
"I see." A pause. "Should I be concerned?"
"Probably."
The fridge door hissed as it opened, then shut. The tap turned on, ran for a few seconds, then clicked off. A glass placed, not set, not dropped, just placed, onto the counter. Then, the soft shuffle of socked feet across the floor. The indication he was near by the couch dipping under his weight.
And then there was his hand, finding your leg, fingers pushing into the space between your ankle and the couch. One shoe. Then the next. Like he'd done this a thousand times before. Which he had. Because you were beyond lucky. Fortunate. Blessed. All the vocab words that could be synonymous with you being undeserving. His palm dawdled, thumb dragging absently over the thin stretch of skin just above your heel.
Your heart did something stupid and weak in your chest.
"You're a very doting husband," you murmured, aiming for teasing but landing somewhere softer, somewhere warmer.
Aaron chuckled, shifting beside you until he was comfortable, his arm draping over the couch as he turned toward you. "Yeah, I don't get many complaints."
You peeked up at him through tired, half-lidded eyes. "I could complain."
"But you won't." His palm flattened against your hip before slipping away. Gone too soon on purpose, you were sure. "You like being spoiled too much."
You let out a small, drowsy hum. "Maybe."
His hand moved to your back, dragging up the ridges of your spine and smoothing over the knots you'd stopped noticing until now. And it was unfair, really, because he then found that space at the base of your neck, and you were done for.
You should have let yourself be submerged in it. Into him. Into this. You wanted to. Needed to.
But your brain was perpetually doing loops, swinging from thought to thought, refusing to land. Because as much as you wanted to focus on your very handsome, very intuitive husband, on the way he just knew what you needed before you even had to ask, on his touch, on jus the undeniable, singular himness of him (which, okay, maybe wasn't a real world, but you were too tired to litigate that) — all you could hear was JJ's voice.
"God I remember that level of wiped. I felt the same way before I found out about Michael."
It had been a throwaway comment, made with a laugh as you'd all packed up to head home. It was the kind of thing that should have rolled right off your back. And it had, at first. You'd scoffed, waved it off and blamed it on the jet lag and the late nights and the way your body never quite figured out how to recalibrate between cases.
But now, laying on the couch, staring at at the cushions like they held divine answers, every part of you felt off. Tender in a way you didn't like, in a way that felt far too familiar.
And you couldn't ignore it. Well, you could. Probably. Maybe. Except no you couldn't because JJ was unfortunately, irritatingly, horrifyingly right.
Aaron repositioned beside you. "You're quiet."
"I'm tired." As if that could be the end of it. Like if you said it just right, it could turn into an irrefutable fact.
"No kidding." A pause. Then softer, nudging. "Try again."
You turn onto your side, eyes catching his before you brain can screech abort mission, bad idea, too much eye contact, danger. And in that same instant you were even surer of your discernment.
Because this isn't suspicion or paranoia or stress or an overactive imagination.
This is real.
The strange dragging in your limbs, the hot-cold whiplash that makes you constantly second-guess your own damn thermostat, the nausea you wrote off as too many takeout meals and too little sleep.
Your body had known for weeks.
It felt like someone had upended a bucket of ice water down your back. Or no, actually, more like a door slamming shut on every single ounce of stability you had spent years clawing toward.
Because there was no room for this. No room in the schedule, not in the fridge (which, let's be honest, was already one yogurt cup away from disaster), and certainly not in the tenuous, barely-functioning balancing act that was your life.
Jack's school projects, his late-night study sessions, his growing independence that you want to encourage, needed to encourage, but what if you're pushing too hard? What if you're not pushing enough? Bella's refusal to eat anything that isn't shaped like a star, her impossible stubbornness, her need for you that takes up every ounce of energy you have left.
And work. Gods, work. The late nights, the cases that leave bruises on you emotionally and physically, the constant demand to give more, be more, solve more.
You barely made it though last time. How are you supposed to do it again?
Before you can spiral any further, before your brain can really sink its teeth into the oh my gods, you're fucked of it all, you're moving, no, being moved, with absolutely no input on your part, being hauled into Aaron's lap.
"Do I need to bribe you out of whatever's happening in that head of yours?" he muses, shifting so his hands can slip beneath your shirt, palm warm against too-cold ribs. "Or do I just have to annoy you until you snap out of it?" You blink at him, heavy-lidded, and he smiles, unfairly amused. "Because I can talk about legal precedents and federal jurisdiction until you pass out from boredom."
You groan dramatically, letting your head fall against his shoulder like you're already picturing it.
"Not the legal precedents," you mumble, voice muffled by his shirt. "Anything but that."
"That's what I thought."
You peek up at him, pouting. "I'll take bribery, please."
He smirks and inclines his head like he's mulling it over. "What's my price?"
You angle your head, shifting just enough that he’ll get the hint, because obviously he’s not dense, and obviously you don’t have to spell it out.
Aaron's chuckle is warm and affectionate, and his smirk slips into something more partial. "Well, lucky me."
His lips graze yours like he has nowhere else to be, like the rest of your world isn't hanging on by a thread. And for just one selfish second, you let yourself chase it, into that fleeting illusion that everything is fine.
But then he pulls away, and it's gone. The illusion crumbles, slipping through your fingers like sand.
Because he's too good. Too selfless. Too willing to bear everything like it won't eventually crush him. And now here you are, about to pile more onto his already impossible load. Another thing for him to carry, to shoulder, to make space for when there's already so little left. You don't know if you can stand it, don't know if you can watch the depletion deepen in his eyes and be the reason for it.
Aaron catches it in seconds, because nothing ever gets past him, because you could probably breathe funny and he'd be asking what's wrong. His teasing vanishes immediately, replaced by something gentler, and something infinitely worse.
His hand is on your face before you can neutral your expression, his thumb at the corner of your mouth, like he's trying to press the emotion back in, to stop it from spilling over.
"You're breaking my heart, sweetheart," he murmurs, fixing his head to meet your gaze. "Tell me how to fix it."
Your hands lift, like the movement might shake the words loose, might make sense of everything in your head, but they fall just as fast, fingers tangling into the material of his shirt.
“It’s just — I don’t know, I should’ve seen it coming, right? But I didn’t, and now it’s like —” You squeeze your eyes shut, breath shaking. “Aaron, I’m so sorry. I don’t even know how it happened, I don’t know what to think, I don’t —”
"Hey, honey," Aaron interrupted, his thumbs sweeping careful paths down your tear-stricken cheeks. His brow dips. "Slow down for me, okay? I need you to breathe."
You try, you really do, but your chest feels like it's wrapped in steel bands, too tight to expand properly, and your thoughts are useless, spinning too fast, overlapping, crashing into each other.
"You're talking in circles, baby. Help me understand."
A sound claws its way out of your throat, half a sob, half hysteria.
Aaron just watches, expectantly, like he's waiting for the moment it all clicks into place. For you to say it. For you to crack wide open.
"Aaron, I'm — God, I'm pregnant."
For a long, stretched-out second, he doesn't move.
His eyes flicker between yours, scanning, searching, reading every inch of your expression before, instinctively, unconsciously, they drop downward. To your stomach.
His hands follow, hesitantly, like they already knew, like something deep in him had felt it before his mind could catch up. But he doesn't touch you, not yet. His fingers just hover, inches from your shirt, like he's afraid to break something delicate. Like he needs to believe in it first.
"You're —?" It's not even a word, just a shape in his mouth, just air barely pushed into sound.
You nod, and oh, something gives way, splinters inside you, breaks open just like he was wanting and suddenly, you can't stop talking.
"I know," you whisper, voice breaking, hands swiping furiously at damp cheeks. "I know."
Your shoulders tremble, fresh tears slipping past your lashes, and damn it, you can't stop them, can't stop any of it.
"I'm so sorry, please don't be upset, I don't know how this happened, I didn't mean for it to happen, I —,"
"Hey." You freeze instantly. "Stop." He pauses for a second as if trying to figure out the right thing to say. "Why are you apologizing?"
You open your mouth, already scrambling for some kind of justification, some kind of explanation, but he's faster.
"Pretty sure we were both there when this happened," he says, voice so deadpan, you almost didn't hear the amusement as his mouth flicked upward. "Fairly certain it was a mutual effort."
You let out a choked, watery laugh. "But we weren't expecting this. We didn't plan for this, and the timing is awful, and work is insane, and Bella —,"
"— will be fine."
"Jack —,"
"— will love it."
"And what about us?"
Aaron's hand moves again, actually pressing to your stomach now. And then he smiles, this tiny, crooked, almost smug little thing that makes your stomach flip in a completely different way, like he's remembering something good, something soft, something dangerously sentimental.
"Did I ever tell you," he murmurs, tilting his head slightly, like he’s been waiting for the perfect moment to drop this, "that you weren't even supposed to be on my team?"
Your brows furrow instantly. "What do you mean?"
"I mean," he says finally, "you were supposed to be off in some White Collar division. Probably catching investment bankers committing tax fraud."
"Then how did I end up here?"
Aaron snorts, actually snorts. "A clerical error."
"Are you serious?"
"Like I said, Strauss meant to assign you to the White Collar division." His thumb strokes along your jaw, like he’s trying to soften the absurdity of what he’s about to say. "But someone messed up the paperwork. By the time she noticed, you'd already started your first week."
A sharp, incredulous breath escapes you. "So I got on the team by accident."
"Not entirely," he murmurs. "Strauss asked if I wanted her to fix it. Move you where you were actually supposed to go."
"And?"
His hands find their way into your hair before you can process the movement —fingertips brushing against your scalp, smoothing strands away, tucking them behind your ears, like he needs to see you.
"And I almost told her yes." And he says it in a way that makes you think maybe he still can't believe it. "Not because of your skills," he continues. "But because I knew — I knew that if I spent any more time with you, I was going to fall in love with you. And I didn't want that," he admits. "Because I wasn't sure if I was ready for something that permanent."
He'd never told you this. Not in words. Maybe in glances, in pauses, in the way he always found you first, in a crowd, in a crime scene. But never like this. Never out loud.
Your brain tries to process it, but it's like pouring water into a cup that's already full, it spills over, sloshes everywhere, and makes a mess of things.
You almost laugh except there's this awful, aching tightness in your throat, and you think if you let the sound out, it might not be a laugh at all.
"So what changed?"
He lets out a breath, a small, almost reluctant smile playing at his lips. "You told me to relax."
"Excuse me?"
“You were new. Three weeks in. I was this close to telling Strauss yes. Had the email typed out, my finger hovering over send. And that whole week, I had been —” he pauses, smirks faintly, “— a pain in the ass. And you just —” another shake of his head, “— you knocked, walked in, took one look at me, and said, Hotch, you need to relax.”
A long, drawn-out pause.
"And then you walked out."
You let out an unguarded laugh. "No, I didn't."
"You did. And I remember thinking — who the hell does she think she is?" Then, without hesitation, he pulls you flush against him, like that thought alone is hilarious in retrospect. "And then, two seconds later, thinking — I hope she never stops. And you never did. Thank God for that." His forehead presses to yours. "Because now, you're my beautiful wife. The mother of my children. You know, I spent so much of my life thinking I needed a plan but turns out the best things happen when you don't."
And then he kisses you and damn it, he tastes like that coffee, the stupidly expensive, unnecessarily strong stuff he insists on smuggling onto the jet, the kind that is so obnoxiously him it makes your head spin.
Dark roast, sharp on his tongue and now on yours, transferring straight into you like somehow he's the one who's addicting.
And maybe he is. Because when he pulls back, there's another smirk at his mouth, but his hand stays at the nape of your neck, like he's already considering doing it again. And Jesus, you hope he does.
"You know," he muses, far too casual for a man about to be slapped. "if we really think about it, this might actually be your fault."
Your jaw drops. "Come again?"
He tilts his head, all easy amusement, all knowing. "You were the one who insisted on that very thorough stress relief session a few weeks ago."
Your face flames. "Aaron!"
“Oh, don’t act innocent,” he hums, tilting his head like he’s thinking, like he’s remembering in excruciating detail. “I was there. I distinctly recall the moment you climbed into my lap and said —”
"Stop talking."
"— Aaron, I need to —"
Your hand clamps over his mouth, but his laughter is instant, vibrating against your palm, his eyes crinkling at the corners, full of mischief and love and the kind of thing that turns your brain to static.
"You’re the worst," you mutter.
Aaron just smirks, prying your hand away, pressing a kiss to your lips like a punctuation mark. "Says the one who keeps letting me knock her up."

Aim for the Sky masterlist. This was written to accompany my series Is It Working For You? along with a bunch of my one-shots and other series, but it can be read on its own! Check my masterlist for the reading order.

You settled on the couch with the new ultrasound photos from our appointment on Monday, eager to show them to your parents. But Bradley had other ideas.
"Roo," you hissed, pulling his hand away from your chest while you looked at your reflection on the iPad screen. "Knock it off."
"I'm horny," he whispered against your neck. You could hear the whine in his voice. He'd been very understanding when you told him that you needed to work late the past few days to help Cat, especially after you explained that she was bogged down with extra work because of Indigo. But now he was pouting on the couch with his other hand slipping into the back of your leggings while the call to your parents connected.
Your mom's voice rang out as Bradley grabbed your butt. "Hi!"
"Hi, Mom!" you replied, voice entirely too peppy as you tried to scoot away from your husband. You shot him a glare as he smirked and finally folded his hands in his lap. "How's packing going?"
"Oh, it's so stressful," she complained, going into a rant about all of the bins of things she'd been saving since you were a kid. You let her ramble, knowing she was secretly excited to be able to let Rose and the second baby play with your old toys someday after they moved to Coronado. Bradley and your dad sat quietly until your mom took a deep breath and asked, "What are you doing for Thanksgiving?"
Now you felt like pouting. They would be moved into their new house in time for Christmas but not Thanksgiving. "Probably making dinner for our friends. Just hanging out with everyone here," you told her with a shrug.
"No."
You turned to look at Bradley who was shaking his head.
"What do you mean no?" you asked. "Are you going to cook Thanksgiving dinner for everyone? Your kitchen skills are much improved, Roo, but that seems a bit ambitious."
Bradley snorted and leaned in to kiss your cheek. "You're not cooking. I'm not cooking. We won't even be here, Baby Girl," he whispered. Then he turned to face the iPad. "I'm taking my girls away for an anniversary trip. We'll be gone that weekend."
Your mom looked like she was going to swoon. "Really?" you asked, letting his hand creep up your thigh toward your belly. "We're going away?"
Bradley's eyes held innocence as he grinned. "Yeah. Don't you remember when I asked you just the other day if you'd prefer the mountains or the lake?"
"Oh," you whispered. You did remember. He had been fingering you at the time, your pussy slick and full of his cum. When your cheeks grew warm, you realized you did not want to have the rest of this conversation with your parents listening in. "Yes, I do recall that, actually." You cleared your throat. "We should let you go. It's late."
"But we didn't get to talk to Rose!" your dad complained.
"She's still taking her after-dinner nap," you told him apologetically. "Maybe tomorrow! Love you!"
When you ended the call, Bradley was already tugging on your shirt. "Please," he murmured. "I'm so horny. I'll do anything you want. On the couch, in bed, in the shower, anything you want, Sweetheart."
"I want you to tell me where we're going, Roo," you replied sweetly as he pulled your shirt over your head and palmed your breasts through your sports bra. It was a wonder he could get hard right now after he'd seen you wearing your maternity tent less than an hour ago.
"Mountains," he grunted, pulling you closer.
You knew he was planning something, but you didn't know it was already worked out. "I'm impressed," you told him as you carefully removed your bra. "You did this all by yourself?"
"Nothing's too good for my girls." His voice was raspy, already fading into the silent room as he eased you onto his lap. You fed Rose not terribly long ago. You were tired. Your breasts weren't very perky at the moment. But Bradley moaned as soon as his lips met your nipple. His cock was hard against your thigh as you settled in.
With his big hand splayed along the side of your growing bump, you let him get his fill of rubbing his nose and mustache all over your chest. Your back arched as he started grinding his hips up to yours.
"Does this mean we can get nasty on the couch?" he whispered, flashing his brown eyes up to yours. When you giggled, he added, "It's been days." Part of you wanted to tell him that your back hurt and you couldn't handle getting twisted into a pretzel right now, but you slid down to the floor between his legs, his eyes tracking your every move. "What are you doing?" he mumbled, a little grin finding his lips as you tugged on the waistband of his gym shorts.
"Stop acting like you don't know I'm about to suck your dick," you whispered, trying not to laugh as his cock bobbed out from his underwear.
A soft sound at the back of his throat spurred you on. He simultaneously scooted his hips closer to you while he settled back against the couch. "I didn't want to assume," he murmured, eyes wide as you took him between your parted lips. "Fuck. I'm so spoiled."
You hummed your response around his cock which had his head tipping back as he reached for your face. Big, calloused fingers brushed along your cheek before trailing to the back of your head. You controlled the pace, but that bit of pressure from his excited hand made you suck a little harder just to hear his appreciation.
Long, languid strokes had Bradley's restraint slipping. After he tapped the back of your throat his hips rose incrementally from the couch. When your tongue circled his tip, his hips were up again. He was eager to cum, so you slowed your pace.
"Jesus," he whimpered, balls tightening as you sucked on them. You could feel your saliva drip down his cock to your face as you ran your tongue in circles. "Keep this up, and you'll never not be pregnant, Sweetheart."
Before you could react, Bradley was pulling you to your feet, careful not to be too rough. He yanked your leggings down and guided you back to his lap.
He was big and thick, but your body welcomed him as he filled your pussy. "You're getting a vasectomy after this one, Roo."
He gasped, whether from your words or from the way your pussy was already squeezing around him with need, you weren't sure. You wanted to reiterate that two kids was plenty for you and he to handle, but his palm met your butt, guiding you in a slow roll that erased all thoughts from your brain.
"We'll talk about that later," he crooned, kissing your lips softly. "Right now, I want you to think about how bad you need me." You moaned in spite of yourself at his cocky words. "I want you to think about how good Daddy takes care of his girls."
"Oh, god," you whimpered, bouncing on his cock. "You do. You do," you babbled. One swipe of his finger along your clit, and you were seeing stars. Hadn't he been the one begging for this? How did you become the needy one right now? "Fuck!"
You were panting as he guided you along, taking you for everything you had until your face was buried against his neck to quiet yourself as you came. He knew what to do, and he was too good at it, pinching and plucking your clit until your hips rolled to a stop as your pussy squeezed him gently.
When you opened your eyes, you were still dizzy as Bradley held you. Your pussy was slick with his cum, both of you spent as his hand settled on the side of your belly.
"We'll circle back to that vasectomy conversation later," he whispered as you laughed softly with his cock still inside you. "Right now, I don't want you to move an inch."
"That's convenient," you mumbled, "because I think my bones are jello." You snuggled in closer, eyelids heavy, but Bradley's body jerked beneath you.
"Holy shit," he gasped, sitting more upright as you grabbed his shoulders.
"What's wrong?"
"I can feel her," he whispered, his hand trailing along your belly, pressing firmly. "I can feel our daughter moving."
You were so used to her almost-constant squirming, it took you a beat to realize that she was turning somersaults below your ribcage, but she was moving a lot. Bradley's gaze met yours, and a beaming smile filled his face as he adjusted his hand an inch higher.
"She's moving a lot, Roo. I think she likes your voice."
Tears glittered in your husband's eyes, and you kissed his cheeks. It felt so good to be back on solid ground in your relationship. Perhaps you never had anything to worry about, but moments like this one were priceless to you.
"I love you so much," Bradley promised, his lips finding yours, kissing you through his words. "I love my girls. This is the best fucking day."
When Rose started crying to eat again, you finally crawled from your husband's lap. But he followed you into the nursery, claiming, "I want to be close to the three of you." He barely left your side for the rest of the night.
-----------------------------
Bradley was still stressed out about Indigo. He didn't really think about her when he was at home, but when he got to work and saw her lurking about, his anxiety seemed to spike. Today, she was outside his classroom when the others filed in for his lecture. He wondered how much longer the little scheme you and Cat worked up could possibly keep her on the ground. He still didn't have all the details, not that he wanted them, but he knew better. She would be back in the air by the end of the year. And he hadn't heard a word about his complaints against her.
"Good morning, Lieutenant Commander Bradshaw," Indigo sang, setting Bradley's teeth on edge. He had to take deep breaths and remind himself that he couldn't rage at her. When he thought about how he spent last night feeling the baby kicking, he calmed down.
"Lieutenant Jeffries. I trust you haven't forgotten you're not permitted in my classroom?"
Her smirk was obnoxious. "Of course not, Sir. I was just simply stopping by to inform you that your superior is back." Her smirk turned into a bright, joyful smile. "And I'm going to stop by his office."
Maverick was back from Lemoore. Mav was back, and somehow Indigo knew about it before he did. While that rubbed him the wrong way, Bradley thought perhaps things could move along faster now. Maybe there was a way out of this whole mess. He wanted his life to go back to normal again. He needed it.
"Enjoy your morning, Lieutenant Jeffries. Don't forget to stay out of the aviators' lounge."
Bradley closed the door softly instead of slamming it, and then he got his notes out. The other students were eager to hear what he had planned. Even Spice seemed to have distanced herself from Indigo which was interesting; perhaps she valued her career more than a toxic friend. Bradley wrote some notes on the board and got to work.
What was supposed to be a two hour long discussion with the group was cut short halfway through. When he walked around the classroom, pausing to answer a question, Bradley's gaze was drawn toward the window. He saw you outside in the sunlight near the hangar. It was impossible to miss you in your maternity uniform, not that he would ever tell you that, but even the curve of your cheek was unmistakable to him.
God, you were fucking perfect. His heart skipped around in his chest as he watched you turn back toward your office, and he crept closer to the window for a better look. He couldn't wait until lunchtime so he could sit with you.
Then his back went ramrod straight, and Bradley froze. Indigo walked past you, checking your shoulder with hers. "What the fuck?" Bradley snarled under his breath. Indigo kept walking like she hadn't just intentionally run into you. You. A pregnant woman. Bradley's pregnant wife. "You're all dismissed," he barked, heading for the classroom door as quickly as he could walk. Once he was in the hallway, he was running for the exit in the atrium.
The sunlight was blinding, but he saw you immediately. When he called your name, you turned to him and smiled. Indigo was nowhere in sight now as he ran to get to you.
"Are you okay?" he demanded, touching your shoulder before letting his hand settle on your belly.
"Yeah, I just had to take something to Cat. Why are you out of breath?" you asked, kissing his cheek softly before he wrapped you up in a hug. "What's going on, Bradley?"
He kissed along your forehead and said, "I saw Indigo plow into you through the window. She did it intentionally."
"Oh. Yeah. She does that all the time. I wish she'd just hit me in the face already, because I'm not about to retaliate."
Bradley held you at arm's length, eyes wide. "Don't say that! I don't want her laying a finger on you!"
You took a deep breath and sighed. "You know none of this would be a problem if you weren't so sexy, right?" Bradley's cheeks felt warm as you tucked yourself against him again. "I need to get back to my lab, but I'll see you at lunch. We can start discussing baby names."
As you strolled away, Bradley once again felt terrible that you were in this mess with him.
----------------------------
You didn't want Bradley worrying any more than he always was, but Indigo did hit your shoulder pretty hard this time. You were still rubbing it when you walked into your building and headed for the elevators.
It felt like you were trapped in some realm filled with optical illusions; somehow Indigo was standing in front of the elevator buttons. How she got inside so quickly was beyond you.
"Excuse me," you told her, trying to reach for the up arrow with your chin held high, but she didn't move. "You're in my way."
"How does it feel knowing your husband fucked me in his office?" she whispered. Your hand stilled in the air as you met her horrible, blue eyes. "How does it feel knowing I can have him whenever I want? Every Monday after his office hours. This past Monday was something else. Would you like some details?"
It made you physically sick that she thought she had some sort of grasp on you and Bradley. It would be nice to hit her in the face instead of the other way around. But you knew she was lying. She was grasping at straws. Bradley had skipped his office hours on Monday in favor of joining you for your appointment with Dr. Morris just like he always did. The woman in front of you was beyond ridiculous.
"Do you want to know the details?" she demanded. "Answer me."
"I don't answer to you!" Your voice had her taking a step back until she hit the wall between the elevator doors. "I outrank you in every way."
"You can't do this to me," she hissed. "You think you're an admiral on a power trip or something, but you can't ground me indefinitely, Lieutenant Commander."
Just as your lips parted, ready to put her in her place, you heard boots squeak in the polished floor to your left. You glanced that way to see the confident stride of Bradley's godfather as Maverick yanked his aviators off. His gaze was like steel as he stopped at your side.
"Maybe she doesn't quite have the power to ground you indefinitely, but I certainly do, Lieutenant Jeffries."
"Sir," she complained with a pout, "you don't understand what she's trying to do to me. She grounded me and my Super Hornet, Captain Mitchell. She's trying to ruin my career for no good reason. Her commanding officer should be informed that she's manipulating things the way she wants them when I've done nothing wrong."
You were seeing red. She was the one who started this whole thing, not you. And she was the one who kept trying to goad you on because she didn't get what she wanted. And now she was trying to make you look bad in front of Mav. You couldn't tell if you were about to laugh or cry.
"Enough," Mav barked. "I don't want to hear another word. One conversation with her commanding officer, and you'll be eating your words, Lieutenant Jeffries. And do you honestly think anything happens to one of the Super Hornets in the Pacific fleet without me knowing about it?"
Instead of a verbal response, Indigo blushed bright pink and shook her head slowly.
Maverick cleared his throat and lowered his volume a bit. "Someone in your position should be keeping a low profile, but you can't seem to help yourself."
"Someone in my position?" she asked, her gaze flickering your way briefly.
Shaking his head, Maverick said, "I've never seen a harassment case against a subordinate open and close so quickly."
"What?" Indigo squeaked, fingers curling into fists at her sides.
"It seems you have a history of behaving poorly around your male superiors," Maverick added. "I was going to let you save face and have this conversation in my office this afternoon, but it's a little too late for that. Maybe things worked in your favor in the past. You seem the type who got used to getting their own way. But that kind of behavior doesn't belong at Top Gun. And you were barking up the wrong tree with Lieutenant Commander Bradshaw from the beginning. Not only is he happily married, his wife has more friends and allies on base than you'll ever know about. Pack your locker and meet me in my office. You're going back to Texas today."
"Texas!" Indigo wailed. "I'm too good for that program."
Maverick reached around her for the elevator button. "I wouldn't worry about that. You're about to learn that the Navy is too good for you. Now get out of my sight."
It felt like everything shifted as you watched Indigo storm away. Her shoulders slumped, and she seemed to fold in on herself. It was a far cry from her usual behavior as Maverick guided you into the elevator with him when the doors opened.
"Are you okay?" he whispered, tipping your chin up so you met his eyes. "I really didn't mean for you to hear all of that."
"I'm okay," you whispered before wrapping your arms around him as tears leaked from your eyes. "Thanks for looking out for Bradley and me."
He kissed your forehead as you cried. "You're family. I'll always do what I can." When the doors slid open, you realized you were on your floor. Maverick wrapped his arms around your shoulders, guiding you along to your office. Your fingers were shaking as you unlocked the door. "I'll text Bradley and see if he can stop by," he said, following you inside where you sank into your desk chair with your hands on your belly.
"Is she out?" you whispered, completely exhausted as you took deep breaths. "Is Indigo out of the Navy?"
Maverick sighed and tucked his phone away again. "That's up to the admirals in Texas, but if I had to wager a guess... probably."
It seemed wild to you that she would risk it all for something as trivial as a hookup, but then again, Bradley always was irresistible to you. At one point, you were willing to risk everything you'd worked toward since your years at the Naval Academy to be with him. You'd even announced to the entire control room on an aircraft carrier that he was the man for you. But he was yours. He was Rose's. He was the baby's. Indigo wasn't going to get away with even testing the waters.
You weren't sure how long you'd been sitting there reflecting on things with Mav perched on the edge of your desk, but it must have been several minutes. When you heard heavy footfalls in the hallway, you looked at your open doorway as your husband came rushing inside.
"Are you okay?" he asked, panting and sweaty. He barely looked at Maverick before dropping to his knees next to your chair. "Did she hurt you?"
"Jeez, Mav," you murmured as the other man headed for the door. "What did you tell him?" you asked, referring to the text he'd sent to Bradley.
"I told him you needed him," Maverick replied with a chuckle before closing the door on his way out.
"I swear to God," Bradley growled, focused on your face. "If she hurt you-"
"She didn't," you promised, cupping his cheek. "I promise we're just fine."
He was still everything you wanted. Almost two years married, and Bradley was worth every bit of this trouble. His lips found your belly through your ugly tent, kissing along until his cheek came to rest there. "That's good," he rasped as your fingers combed through his hair. "Hopefully they'll take my complaints against her seriously. I can barely stand coming to work knowing she's giving you a hard time."
"She's out, Bradley." He flashed his brown eyes up to your face. "Maverick is sending her back to Texas where they'll decide what happens to her."
He gave you a satisfied groan as he nuzzled your belly, kissing you a million times. Then his head came to rest in your lap, and you could feel the tension slowly release from his body for the first time in months as you held onto him.
"Just let me stay here with you for a while. Okay, Baby Girl?"
--------------------------
Have fun in Texas, Indigo! Nobody is going to miss you. I feel like BG should get to keep her Super Hornet out of principle. BUT, the most important part of the chapter is the fact that Bradley got to feel the baby! ALSO, next chapter may be the last one in this series.

Certified Freak
The LADS Boys and their Kinks
Written for a role play series I worked on and I could not get over how much fun it was. One of my specialties is personality and kink analysis and I feel like I did a pretty good job capturing them.

NSFW Below The Cut
Zayne
Kink: Soft/Light Bondage
Zayne cast a sidelong glance your way, his fingers flying across the keyboard with clinical precision. The glow of the laptop screen lit his features—calm, focused, unreadable to most… but not to you.
He sat perched on the edge of the bed, posture straight as ever, despite the hour. The TV played softly in the background, the movie of your choosing rolling along without much attention from either of you. He'd had it installed in the bedroom months ago—some misguided attempt at compromise, a way to spend more time with you while still keeping up with his never-ending notes and case reports.
He barely blinked when you reached over to poke his cheek.
With surgeon-like speed, his hand caught yours mid-air, his fingers wrapping easily around your wrist. "I need a few more minutes, darling," he murmured, eyes still on the screen. "I'm logging post-op notes from today’s surgery."
His voice was calm, measured, the edge of exhaustion softened by the affection in his tone. But the amused twitch at the corner of his lips betrayed him. He was entertained. You always managed to chip away at his composure, no matter how long his day had been.
You flopped back into your spot with a dramatic sigh, arms crossed, your pout aimed pointedly in his direction. He didn't need to look—he could feel it.
Those 'few more minutes' stretched. Five became fifteen. Fifteen became nearly an hour. Zayne was lost in terminology and timestamps until he felt the distinct press of your fingers sneaking along his side—deliberate, slow, and unmistakably mischievous.
This time, he didn't even glance up. His hand darted out, catching your wrist with an efficiency that should've been unfair.
"Again?" he said, voice low, laced with fond exasperation. He set the laptop aside with deliberate calm, letting it click shut. His hazel eyes finally met yours, sharp and warm all at once.
"If your hands insist on misbehaving…" His fingers tightened ever so slightly around your wrist, not enough to hurt, just enough to hold. "Then perhaps I should show you how surgeons tie knots."
A pause—long enough for the implication to settle—before his smirk deepened.
"They're remarkably secure."
Zayne's fingers released your wrist slowly, deliberately, as if reluctant to let go. He shifted toward you, the space between you vanishing in a breath.
His voice dropped an octave, thick with promise. "Lie back, darling."
Zayne moved with unhurried grace, bracing one knee beside your hip as he leaned over you, palms bracketing either side of your head on the bed. His white button-down was slightly wrinkled from the day, sleeves rolled to his elbows—he looked disheveled in the most unfairly gorgeous way.
"Do you know what happens when a surgeon's hands are interrupted mid-report?" he murmured, his nose brushing along your jaw. "We get a little… twitchy."
His hand glided up your thigh, fingers curling possessively, thumb grazing just beneath the hem of your shirt.
"Distracting me is dangerous, you know," he whispered against your ear. "Now I've completely forgotten what I was working on. Do you intend to take responsibility?"
His mouth found your throat, trailing kisses down the slope of your neck. His hands didn't stop moving, slipping beneath fabric, sliding higher, exploring slowly, savoring every inch of your skin like it was a map he'd studied for years and was only now daring to touch.
Zayne was always composed. Controlled. But now… his touch was reverent and hungry in equal measure.
"I'm going to tie your hands," he said softly, his teeth grazing your earlobe. "Not because I don't trust you. But because I want you to feel what it's like—without a single distraction."
He sat back just long enough to slide open his nightstand drawer, pulling out a long, red silk sash, as though it had been waiting for this very moment. His gaze met yours, slow and questioning, always waiting for your word.
"Let me properly demonstrate what happens when you interrupt a surgeon's work."

Caleb
Kink: Panty Sniffer/Olfactory
Caleb had no qualms about showing just how much of a pervert he was for you now that you were dating. All those things he'd kept hidden over the years—the times he listened through the walls of your bedroom when you pleasured yourself, the dirty panties he nipped from the laundry when you weren't looking, and the occasional photos he discreetly snapped for later enjoyment—were now out in the open, and he reveled in it.
He'd always suspected that you matched his unique brand of freak. Hell, maybe you were even more depraved—which only made him fall deeper. So, when you teased him on the phone about having a surprise for him, he was already counting down the minutes. Your surprises had a notorious reputation for leaving the Colonel both thoroughly satisfied and incredibly late to work the next day.
You barely made it through the door to his apartment before he was upon you, his lips tracing along your neck as he lifted you effortlessly. His Evol held you aloft, giving his hands the freedom to explore as he began tugging at your clothes.
"So, a surprise, huh? You mentioned it on the phone—whatcha got me? Is it under these clothes, maybe?"
He couldn't help himself, his lips spilling every nasty thought while his hands carried out their mischievous actions. He moved through the apartment like a man possessed, dropping you gently to the bed while his hands made quick work of tugging off your pants.
Then he saw it.
He froze, breath hitching in his throat as his eyes locked onto what you were wearing. A slow, incredulous laugh rumbled from his chest, followed by a growl so low it barely sounded human.
There, delicately stitched onto the waistband of your underwear, was a small red apple… and beneath it, his name.
"Fuuuuuck…" His voice came out in a needy whine, a whimper even, choked out as he dropped to his knees. "You tryin' to kill me?"
His fingers delicately caressing the wet patch soaking into the fabric. "You know what would make this gift even better? Leave 'em on while I ruin them… then let me keep them. You know it gets real lonely in my shuttle during patrols…"

Rafayel
Kink: Voyeur, Semi-Public, Getting Caught
Rafayel's hands had minds of their own.
Or so he claimed.
It was the only explanation he ever offered when his fingers kept wandering—under your shirt, down the back of your pants, slipping between your thighs with maddening precision.
And if those hands ever got caught? Well, clearly it wasn't his fault. The poor things simply had no self-control.
"What? That wasn't me!" Rafayel yelped dramatically as you swatted his thigh beneath the pristine linen tablecloth.
You were seated at an exclusive dinner, arranged by Thomas himself, joined by a small group of very important art collectors who were preparing to purchase several of Rafayel's newest works. It was supposed to be professional, polished.
But Rafayel was bored out of his mind.
His elbow perched on the table as he leaned in close, his voice a sulky whisper beside your ear. "Cutie, I can't help it… You wore that shirt on purpose, didn’t you? You're just begging me to misbehave."
Then—his fingers were there again, fast and shameless, cupping between your legs with practiced boldness. He pressed just enough to make your breath hitch, just enough to draw that gorgeous color to your cheeks.
That blush he lived for—pink to red, from cheekbones to ears, like the blooming sky at dusk.
He'd capture that color one day. Call it 'My Favorite Sin.'
You kicked his shin under the table, hard.
"Ow!" he yelped again, loud enough for every conversation to pause and heads to turn. Rafayel blinked innocently, flashing a sheepish smile.
"Oh—ah. Seems I might've, um… sprained my wrist earlier. Painting accident. Yes, tragic, really."
His hand—very much not sprained—grabbed yours, entwining your fingers.
"Come. I need assistance. It hurts sooo bad."
Thomas, seated beside him, looked like he was two seconds from strangling him with a napkin. He gave the collectors a tight-lipped smile, smoothing things over while Rafayel led you down the hall without a shred of remorse.
He dragged you toward the restaurant bathroom with a purposeful stride. Once inside, he kicked the door open, checked the stalls—and when satisfied no one else was present, he pulled you into the last one.
The lock clicked.
He pinned you to the stall door with a sudden, delicious force, his lips crashing into yours, stealing your breath before you could even scold him. His kiss was deep, greedy, and hungry—like he hadn't seen you in weeks, like he might die if he didn't taste you right now.
"Just a little taste, cutie," he murmured against your lips, breathless, his hands already trailing lower.
"Then I swear—I'll be a good boy… sit still, nod politely, talk about brush technique or whatever Thomas wants."
His grin was wicked, his eyes gleaming.
"But right now? I want dessert before dinner."

Sylus
Kink: Light Submission/Power Struggle
Sylus wasn't the type to submit.
Power clung to him like a second skin—woven into every graceful step, every sharp glance, every word that slipped from his lips like velvet and venom. Control wasn't something he reached for—it was something the world handed him, terrified to do anything else.
But you?
You were the beautiful exception to every rule he lived by.
He had a soft spot for your defiance—the way your eyes sparked when you pushed his buttons, the way you stood toe-to-toe with a man the galaxy feared and dared to tease him. To challenge him.
He loved it.
Feeding that fire in your heart had become his favorite pastime. Anything you wanted, he laid at your feet like offerings to a queen. Riches, silk, silence, chaos—he handed it all over willingly, adding fuel to your every little desire until your hunger matched his own.
And tonight?
Tonight, you straddled him like you ruled him, fingers pressed to his chest as if you could pin him down.
As if you could tame the dragon with just your touch.
A slow, amused smile tugged at the corners of his lips, his eyes gleaming like molten gold in the low light.
"Oh?" he drawled, voice dripping with indulgent curiosity. "Taking charge tonight, kitten?"
He didn't move. He didn't need to. Just lay there beneath you, coiled like a predator at rest, letting you believe—for now—that the power was yours.
He hummed, a sound that vibrated through your skin, dark and decadent. Half-pleased, half-predatory.
"I told you to be greedy, sweetie," he murmured, his voice nothing but honey and threat. "So go on. Take it."
He tilted his head, eyes devouring you from beneath heavy lashes.
"Anything you want… it's yours."

Xavier
Kink: OK let’s see, uh… marking, light voyeur, some edging, some overstimulation, general rough sex vibes… honestly the list could go on, but let’s just say he's very, very primal.
It was honestly easier to list the things Xavier didn't like than the ones he did.
He loved pranks—especially the ridiculous ones. The kind that only his slightly gullible lover would fall for, which made the payoff all the more satisfying. Whether it was switching the sugar with salt in your coffee or a classic whoopee cushion, nothing delighted him more than your flustered reaction… followed by your laughter.
He loved meat. Xavier could easily plow through an entire family-sized bucket of fried chicken solo, licking his fingers clean with zero shame… and then look at you with those soft blue eyes and casually suggest grabbing hot pot immediately after.
And most of all, he loved you. Every word out of your mouth was poetry to him, every clumsy or graceful movement a private performance he never got tired of watching. You were his calm, his spark, his orbit.
But what he hated—with a white-hot intensity—was anyone who tried to flirt with you. Anyone who lingered too long near your side. Anyone who even thought they could draw your attention away. Even himself, if he was being honest. He still resented Lumiere for being too… perfect. Too charming. Too much of a fantasy, even if it was a fantasy designed by himself.
Today, however, was good.
Peaceful.
The two of you spent the afternoon wandering through Linkon, ducking into little shops, Xavier buying you snacks and secretly pocketing a tiny noisemaker he planned to annoy you with later. The kind that made fart sounds, cat meows, and more.
He looked ridiculously proud of himself.
You shared skewers from a street vendor, the sticky glaze clinging to the corner of your lips. He leaned in under the pretense of wiping it away, but his lips met yours instead, tongue flicking softly over the sweetness.
"Mmm," he hummed, smirking. "Tastes better on you."
Everything was perfect—until it wasn't.
"Heyyy!"
Xavier's posture stiffened the second the voice called out.
You turned, hand still linked with his, only to see Charlie—the overly friendly baker from next door—bounding toward you with a far-too-bright smile.
Xavier's expression remained a masterpiece of composure, not a single flicker betraying the murderous thoughts behind his eyes.
"Hi! I'm so glad I caught you guys. I brought some of these new cinnamon rolls for you to try!" Charlie held out a neatly wrapped basket. "We're testing recipes this week before the official opening."
Xavier stepped forward so smoothly it looked choreographed, plucking the basket from Charlie's hands before you could even reach.
"Thanks. We just ate. We'll enjoy these together… later," he said smoothly, voice clipped but polite.
Charlie gave a cheery wave and slipped into his apartment next door—right next door.
You started to raise your hand to wave back, but Xavier's hand was already at the small of your back, guiding—no, directing—you inside.
"Inside. Now."
The front door closed with a click.
The basket hit the trash without ceremony.
And then his hands were on you—urgent, possessive, burning.
His mouth crashed into yours, stealing your breath as he backed you toward the bed—your bed, the one pressed against the wall shared with Charlie's apartment.
He pulled back just long enough to growl against your lips, "Do you like the attention? Do you like seeing me like this?" he asked, voice low, trembling with restraint as his fingers slid beneath your clothes and made quick work of removing them.
His gaze pinned you—dark, hungry, feral.
"I don't like sharing," Xavier muttered as he dragged you down with him onto the mattress. "Not even a glance."
His lips were everywhere—your throat, your collarbone, the curve of your stomach—as if he could replace every second of Charlie's interruption with himself.
Jealousy was a rare look on Xavier, but when it came, it wasn't cruel. It was consuming. Worshipful.
"You're mine. You always will be."
Xavier was, in his own possessive way, preparing to mark his territory. Loud enough that a certain someone was sure to hear.

--
If you had asked Sarah Cameron what her life would look like at one point, she would’ve never told you this. She would’ve never guessed she’d be living with five Pogues who happened to be her best friends, and one Pogue leader boyfriend. That seemed impossible, but here she was.
John B was still passed out in bed, having carried you to your own at some point during the night to be tucked under warm blankets. Kie was snoring away, and Pope and Cleo had yet to emerge from their room, so Sarah had the house to herself, technically.
She made her way out early in the morning when the sun was just peeking through, steering her bicycle into the downtown area. It was still trashed, obviously, but it seemed the worst of the damage had been taken care of and the fires were out. Keeping her head down, she ducked into the pharmacy in hopes of finding the thing she came here to.
Three years ago, if you would’ve asked Sarah Cameron, she would never be stealing pregnancy tests from a pharmacy, and she sure as shit wouldn’t be doing it at age nineteen.
Grabbing the two boxes, she stuffed them in her bag before collecting a handful of other items you all needed at the house. Might as well, considering there was still no power and the store wasn’t secured with the broken glass everywhere.
Shuffling her way out the door, she tried to look as inconspicuous as possible while walking back to her bike. It was clear the riot had continued further past JJ’s departure since most stores were wiped of merchandise and torn to shreds.
The sunshine caught on the shards of glass scattered and Sarah held her hand up to her forehead to block the reflection from burning into her eyes. She came face to face with the local jewelry store window, the one she’d been in just a few weeks before.
--
JJ threw open the door to Sarah and John B’s room without any hesitation, and thank God the duo were actually taking a nap and not enjoying their alone time in other ways.
“Sarah!” JJ’s attempt at whispering was not going well. “Sarah, wake the fuck up!”
The girl in question groaned at being pulled from her slumber. “The fuck, JJ? What?”
The blond boy waited for her to look over at him before he was waving her closer. She huffed and shuffled out of John B’s arms, her boyfriend still snoring soundly with the grace of a heavy sleeper. Following JJ out of their room, she closed the door softly behind her so John B wouldn’t wake up.
“I need your help with something,” JJ explained.
Sarah took one look at his expression and smirked. “Holy shit, you’re so stressed.”
JJ rolled his eyes and grabbed her by her shoulders. “I need you to help me find a ring.”
“A ring? A ring for what?” Sarah repeated in confusion. JJ shushed her, his index finger pressing against her lips as she went wide-eyed with realization. Sarah was practically jumping now, her excitement evident as she pulled JJ’s hand away from her face. “Holy shit! Are you serious?”
“Yes, now be quiet!” He looked over his shoulder to see if you were done with your shower and found the door still closed and water running. “We have to go now, okay? I don’t want her being suspicious.”
Sarah was quick to agree, bouncing as she ran down the stairs to grab her shoes and purse before meeting JJ by the Twinkie.
The two spent a good two hours in town, Sarah having been former friends with the jewelry store employee who was more than willing to answer any and all of JJ’s questions.
“What size ring does she wear?” Sarah asked as she scanned the cases for anything that caught her eye. “Do you think she’s a princess cut girl like me? Oh my God, this one is gorgeous.”
“Princess cut?” JJ repeated the phrase, eyebrows furrowing in confusion as he looked down at the ring Sarah was pointing at. “The fuck does that mean?”
Sarah looked up at him, dumbfounded. “Do you know the slightest thing about what she wants?”
JJ tilted his head and looked back at her. “Sarah, we’re Pogues. Have been our whole lives. Do you think she even has the slightest clue about what any of this means?”
Accepting defeat with that one, Sarah shrugged and turned back to the options displayed. “Whatever it is, you better make it a good one with all the shit she deals with when it comes to you.” She shoved JJ teasingly and moved to look at another area of the room.
“Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say, Princess Cameron.” JJ rolled his eyes and followed her without any disagreement.
--
Sarah frowned at the memory. The days of peace and hoping for the celebration you and JJ could have were long gone, but she hoped they could find a way to change that. If anyone deserved that happy-ever-after feeling, it was you and JJ.
Biking back to Poguelandia was quiet, and Sarah was thankful for the time to think. She wasn’t sure what she was going to do with the pink tests in her bag and her heart was racing just thinking about it. She was nineteen, John B was almost twenty, but shit they were still young. This wasn’t what she imagined when she thought about having a family. Not in an environment like this.
Sarah tiptoed her way back up the stairs, noticing all the doors were closed except for the one to your room. A tiny part of her was relieved and she peeked in to see the balcony doors open, curtains blowing lightly with the wind. Closing your bedroom door behind her, Sarah made her way out to where you were resting in the hammock with your eyes closed.
“Hi,” She whispered quietly, not wanting to scare you.
You blinked and smiled up at her. “Hi, you okay?”
Sarah bit her lip in response, hand searching blindly in her back for the boxes before she held them up for you to see. “Um… can you-can I do this, in here? With you?”
You nodded, pushing yourself out of the woven hammock to meet her in the doorway, grabbing her hand in yours. Sarah tossed her bag on your bed and followed you into the connected bathroom, forcing a deep breath into her lungs.
“I’ll wait, out… on the other side of the door?” You asked carefully, not sure if she wanted you in the room or not. When she nodded, you squeezed her hand. “Whatever happens, it’ll be okay. I promise.”
“Yeah.” Sarah nodded in agreement, but she was obviously trying to convince herself more than you. You attempted to give her a reassuring smile, but it probably didn’t help considering you were just as nervous for her. She closed the door quietly after that.
You paced the floor for a moment, wanting to give her the space and privacy she deserved while also fighting the bile in your throat. What the fuck happened now?
And where the fuck was JJ?
There had been no texts or calls from your boyfriend since last night, and although you were trying to give him the space and trust he deserved, you were worried. He wasn’t in the right mindset last night, and you didn’t have enough time to talk him down like you wanted to, like you always did.
Grabbing your phone from the charger, you unlocked it and immediately moved to the Find My app where you could see JJ’s location pinging from Goat Island. You cursed, knowing he probably went in search of Groff after the information Luke shared.
JJ deserved answers. He deserved the truth. You shook your head, thinking about how Luke Maybank abused a boy that wasn’t even his, realizing how heartbreaking this whole situation was. It was unfair, and cruel, that everything good in JJ’s life had been ripped from him in some way.
Moving back to your messages, you typed one out: babe you okay?? we can come get you??
The message wasn’t read right away, causing you to sigh, but remind yourself that he might be busy talking to Groff. Or something was wrong. And you really really hoped something wasn’t wrong.
Your bathroom door creaked open slightly, Sarah’s face poking out as you got to your feet. Her expression wasn’t easily readable but she shifted enough for you to see the two tests on counter, both with two bright lines on their screens.
“Okay,” You spoke quietly, watching her expression for any kind of indication of how she felt.
“Impeccable timing,” She replied stoically. You nodded, trying to think of any words to comfort her but were stopped by the sound of footsteps.
“Hey! Is Sarah in here?” There was no time to prepare for Kiara’s sudden presence as she popped up next to you. Her eyes locked in on the bathroom counter instantly and her jaw dropped. The turning gears in her head were practically visible as she turned to face Sarah. “Um… are those yours?”
Sarah bit her lip, clearly nervous at the thought of more people knowing. “Yeah.”
Kiara was instantly looking over at you. “Oh, shit.”
Sarah frowned at the response, her eyes moving between the two of you in attempt to figure out what she was missing. “What? What’s ‘oh shit’ about?”
You shook your head, trying to give Kiara the sign to shut up. “Nothing, nothing. There’s nothing to be worried about-”
Kie thankfully picked up on your clue and started to dig herself out of the hole she created, “I mean… soon to be homeless, broke again, chased by killers. I don’t really know how it could get better.”
Sarah hummed, her eyes glancing back at the positive tests. “It would be like, super great, if maybe you could fine, like, one positive thing,” Her voice was shaky as she looked back at the two of you, eyes damp with tears.
“You’re gonna be an amazing mom,” You answered simply, like it was the easiest thing because it was. Sarah Cameron had all the great qualities that a parent should have, and you were so happy for her. You just wished it had been at a better time.
“The best,” Kie agreed quietly, “And John B loves you. He’s gonna be an all right dad.”
The idea sent the three of you into laughter at the thought of John B, your John B, raising a kid.
“And you have all of us,” You continued as you reached out to grab Sarah’s hand again. “Each and every one of us.”
Sarah nodded, her arms opening to pull you and Kiara into a group hug. “I love you guys.”
“We love you,” Kiara replied, her hand squeezing your side just a little bit tighter in an unspoken conversation. “So, what does this make me Auntie Kie now?”
The three of you pulled apart with more laughter, the cloud over your heads slowly disappearing with each passing minute.
“Does… does John B know?” Kiara asked after a moment. Sarah pulled the tests off the counter, tossing them in the boxes and into the garbage with a shake of her head, telling Kiara that he didn’t, not yet.
“Any word from JJ?” Sarah switched the topic to pull the attention off herself.
You glanced at your phone to see an empty lockscreen and shook your head in response. “No. I have an idea of where he is, I just don’t know if he needs us yet.”
Eventually, Sarah slipped downstairs to make breakfast, finding John B already up and moving around the kitchen with the smell of bacon lingering.
“Hi,” She greeted softly, kissing his cheek before unloading the items she had stolen from the store into the fridge. “Didn’t think you were up.”
John B flipped a piece of bacon. “Heard you laughing with the girls, figured I’d come get something started before we head out for the day. When did you go out?”
“Early,” Sarah replied shortly, her chest tight with the possibility of John B overhearing the news before she could share it. “Did you.. Did you hear us?”
He gave her a quick glance before putting the butter back in the fridge. “Laughing? Yeah, but that was about it. Everything okay?”
Sarah nodded as John B wrapped her in a hug, kissing her forehead gently. “Your sister knows where JJ is.”
John B blinked in surprise at the fact that you weren’t busting down the stairs. “And we’re not going to him because?”
Sarah shrugged. “She said she wants to wait, to see if he needs us.”
While John B wasn’t sure that was the best idea, nobody knew JJ better than you, so he had no room to argue with the decision.
“The ring was gone. From the jewelry shop.”
John B nearly choked on his own spit and coughed to clear his throat. Sarah giggled at the reaction, a smile spreading across her cheeks at the way he blushed.
“You’re lying. Please tell me you’re lying.”
“Nope,” She popped the p in her word and waved her left hand in front of his face where her homemade ring rested on her finger. “We’re not going to be special anymore, Vlad.”
John B smiled at the nickname that he hadn’t heard in a while. “You’re always gonna be special to me, Val.”
You walked down the stairs a few moments later, now dressed for the day and stomach growling with the scent of food. “Hey,” You greeted John B as he set a plate full of eggs on the table while Sarah dipped upstairs to tell the others that food was ready. “Thanks for last night, you didn’t have to stay.”
John B sat outside with you until the early hours of the morning, holding you close with the knowledge that the nightmares would be worse if someone wasn’t there. This was the first time in a while JJ wasn’t home when you went to sleep, and John B didn’t want you to worry all night, so he stayed.
“‘Course,” He replied simply, pausing to lean against the table and look at you carefully. “You heard from J?”
You shook your head, snagging a piece of bacon from the plate. “He went to Goat Island. To see Groff.”
“Groff?” John B paused. You nodded and bit off half a piece. “Like Chandler Groff?”
“Yeah, Luke was spewing some shit when JJ went to see him, so he’s trying to get answers. I didn’t ask, he seemed kind of upset about it. I’m sure he’s trying to figure out how Luke got a bypass to take the house,” You explained, trying to answer the question without really answering it.
John B seemed to roll with it and your friends slowly filtered their way into the kitchen to eat their hearts out. Sarah tucked herself in the chair next to you, John B on her other side. The empty chair at the table was a little too obvious, and when the read receipt didn’t show up on your phone all morning, you knew something had definitely gone wrong.
--
John B and Sarah were in agreement the second you said something felt off about JJ not answering. You quickly cleaned up after breakfast (though it was more like lunch at this point), and tried to get ahold of JJ again. Your texts were no longer being read, but his location was still pinging near Goat Island and you knew you had to drag your friends into it despite JJ’s wishes.
“We can take the HMS, he took the charter boat,” John B offered as you tried calling JJ again, to no avail.
“We’ll try to find out some more about the rezoning,” Pope offered as he motioned toward Cleo. “It’s only a matter of time before they come knocking. We might as well prepare for it. Could stop by and say hi to Ma and Pops too.”
Kie nodded in agreement, “I need to go check in at home, anyway. Mom’s gonna kill me with how yesterday went.”
John B nodded in understanding and tugged a shirt on over his tank top. “Alright, we’ll catch up with you guys later, yeah?”
The three of you took to the HMS shortly after, John B setting his course to Goat Island. Sarah plopped next to you on the small bench, leaning against your shoulder as you stared across the water.
Your brother was, recognizing the distant look in your eyes but his confusion was focused on Sarah’s sudden silence. She seemed excited earlier in the kitchen when talking about her new revelation, but she’s gotten quiet since then. John B made an internal note to ask her later.
“What’s that?” Your eyes caught sight of another boat across the marsh, barely covered by the plants covering it. “Kill the engine, JB,” You directed as you ducked down out of view. The fact that the sun was still setting didn’t help your cover but hopefully, the marsh grass would do its job enough for you to get a closer look. You could just barely see a group out on one of the ledges, a handful of them all with their sights on two people.
“Shit, that’s JJ,” You pointed slightly to the white shirt covering the form of your boyfriend. From here, he looked generally unharmed, but you still didn’t like the way the mercenaries were holding him back.
“And Groff.” John B locked onto the form of the older man who was also being held a little too tight to be friendly.
“Those are the guys from Charleston who took the scroll,” Sarah pointed toward the guy and girl that you and John B had narrowly avoided in the cemetery. The man she pointed at was the one Cleo had tried to kill, the same one that almost killed you while diving.
“What do they want with JJ?” John B asked, his eyes not leaving the form of his best friend, whose arm was wrenched behind his back with a machete a little too close to his face.
You shook your head, heart practically in your throat at the scene in front of you. “I don’t think it’s JJ they want. He’s collateral.”
John B ran a hand through his hair. “We could, like, ram them. Create a distraction,” He offered.
“Ram that?” You repeated as you pointed toward the much larger boat. “John B, come on!”
“Sorry! Just trying to think!”
“Wait, hey!” Sarah reached down to grab the handful of liquor bottles that were remaining from your last store run, having been left on the HMS in a hurry, clearly. “A little Molotov cocktail, maybe?”
You gave her a side glance. “That’s psychotic. Let’s find some rags.”
John B quickly pulled up the bench seat in search of any leftover towels. You tugged your favorite beach towel from underneath you, fingers struggling for a second before you were able to rip it into strips, quickly tossing them to your brother.
“John B, hurry!” You hissed as the lady’s attention moved to JJ, her form much closer than before.
“I’m trying! Shit!”
Sarah ripped one bottle from his hand, tucking a few towel strips into the neck of the bottle and swirling it to the alcohol would drench the towels. “Light it, we'll distract them. He’ll get free, jump over, and we’ll grab him.”
“Just don’t hit him,” You looked at your brother, slightly terrified with the knowledge of his past aim. “I’d like him in one piece, please.”
John B quickly tied a rope around the bottle, his fingers moving as fast as he could to tie one of the knots your father had taught as kids. “Don’t hit JJ with the Molotov cocktail. Gotcha.”
Your hands searched your jean shorts for JJ’s lighter that you rarely left home without, handing it over to John B for his use. “Be careful, please.”
Sarah tucked herself behind the wheel of the ship, your brother on the front bow with the cocktail and lighter in hand. He quickly lit the towel, a curse leaving his lips at how fast it caught flame before he tossed JJ’s lighter back to you and started spinning the rope with the flames midair.
“Oh my God, I should’ve done it,” You huffed as you ducked next to Sarah, John B’s tactic clearly a horrible one.
With a final grunt, he put his whole body into the throw… only for it to come back down on the floor of the boat.
“John B!” You chastised as the flames sprinkled over the floor. “You’re a dumbass!”
“Oh shit!” John B tumbled into the water in shock, the splash definitely giving away your cover if the fire itself didn’t.
You cursed and pushed Sarah back when she went to run for him, your stern eyes keeping her in place as you ripped open the cabinet beneath the wheel to grab the fire extinguisher Pope insisted on being there despite JJ’s best wishes.
In his defense, John B was kicking and shoving water onto the boat, lessening the flames before you pulled the pin on the extinguisher and knocked the rest of it out in a cloud of powder.
“Are you okay?” Sarah reached down to pull your brother back on board.
“I’m so sorry,” John B coughed and flung his extra shirt over into the boat..
“A blind person could’ve thrown that better!” You hissed and helped Sarah haul his weighted form up.
John B shrugged your hands off, his attention back on the cabinet where he pulled out a slingshot that JJ insisted on buying at the local county fair one year, swearing water balloon fights were going to become his new hobby.
You grabbed the second bottle as John B tied the rubber pieces to stabilize them.
“You have ten seconds to explain yourself, or we start shooting!”
You recognized the man’s voice, knowing he was the one who had chased after you and JJ underwater that day. John B shuffled around on the floor, pulling the bands back into position for you to settle the bottle into his grip.
“Ready?” You asked, flicking the lighter open in your hand. Your brother nodded, giving you permission to bring the flame closer until the towel caught and the flames warmed your skin.
John B took a deep breath, his movements calculated as he aligned and leaned back further. “Bye bye.”
The bottle launched this time, flying across the channel gap to the larger boat where the glass shattered on impact. The group went scrambling and you lost sight of JJ in the glowing orange light.
“I said not to hit him!” You smacked your brother’s shoulder out of anxiety and looked back to the fiery scene ahead. “Let’s go!”
John B moved instantly to restart the engine and steer closer to where JJ could hopefully get a better approach to jump. Your jaw dropped at the sight of a burning form going overboard to remove the flames from his clothes.
“Where is he?” You called out aimlessly as John B approached the boat. He tugged on your elbow, pulling you behind the wheel without any explanation, and stood on the edge.
“I’ll find him,” He promised before hopping to the other boat like it was the easiest thing ever. “Circle back around.”
Sarah thankfully shifted you gently, understanding you hated driving the boat in the first place, let alone when both of your boys were up to no good. Her hands took over easily and she steered the boat with a precision you never had.
“Thank God you used to be a Kook,” You breathed out with a small laugh, Sarah smiling in response but keeping her eyes focused. “We’ve gotta quit letting them do stupid shit like this together!”
Sarah huffed, turning around slightly to bring the larger boat into view as you waited for the boys to come into view. “I’ll kill them myself, actually.”
After a moment of looking, you caught JJ’s white t-shirt sprinting out one of the doors higher up, John B right behind him. Your brother took to the ladder, JJ engaging in another fight with the mercenary who intercepted him.
“Shit, shit, go!” You directed to Sarah when both boys were as high as they could climb. The crew below was recovering from the distraction and slowly shifting closer to engage. You screamed as one started climbing the rungs just behind your boyfriend, “JJ!”
His head snapped up immediately at your voice, barely sparing a glance at John B before the fear of you watching him get killed outweighed the jump they were about to take. “Ready?”
“Screw it.”
You couldn’t tell whether they were screams of excitement or fear, but both John B and JJ jumped as far away from the boat as they could. Sarah moved just as quickly, giving the vessel enough push to float next to the two close enough that you could lean down and grab hold.
You anchored your weight and reached down with two hands to grab JJ’s wrists, a small grunt slipping out as you pulled him up with your momentum, both of you tumbling to the floor of the HMS. Sarah and John B had been much more graceful, your brother having enough time to get back to his feet and behind the wheel, jamming the throttle forward just as gunshots rang out.
You reached out to grab Sarah’s wrist, pulling her back down as John B swerved to make it harder to aim. JJ coughed under you, your leg tucked between his two as you sat up to keep an eye out for the mercenaries to follow. When they didn’t, you put your attention on the boy.
“Holy shit,” You breathed before bending to kiss him deeply, fingers tangling into his wet hair as his hands grabbed your hips tightly. You managed two more quicker kisses before settling back. “You okay?”
JJ’s thumbs slipped under your tank top to brush your skin gently as you looked him over for any obvious injuries. “Oh baby, you have no idea how glad I am to see you.”
“Hey, hey. Keep it PG down there, you two,” John B’s request made you scoff and you moved down to kiss JJ again despite your brother’s wishes. Sarah sat next to your brother, letting him rest on her shoulder as she took over driving so John B’s adrenaline could wear off easier.
The four of you burst into laughter, sinking into the relief that you found your missing piece and could return home for the little time you had left there. What you didn’t know, just yet, was that the boys made it out with the scroll relating to the Blue Crown and your next treasure hunt was just around the corner.
--
After arriving back at Poguelandia, Sarah had practically dragged you into the house with the intent to shower before you’d rejoin the boys and catch everyone up on the last few hours.
“Hey, dude,” JJ stopped John B before the older boy left the dock after he tied up the HMS. “Can I talk to you about something?”
John B nodded without any hesitation, nudging his head toward the store to at least get under the light since night had taken over. The Routledge boy dug into the cooler, grabbing a beer for himself before tossing one to his best friend. “Let me guess, this has to do with the grabby hands you had at the jewelry store last night?”
JJ’s jaw practically hit the floor which had John B dying from laughter in a few seconds.
“How the fuck did you know?” JJ glanced around quickly to make sure nobody else was around to hear the conversation. “Seriously, are you a mind reader or like-”
“Sarah told me,” John B took a deep breath to resettle his emotions. “Said it was gone.”
JJ groaned and ran a hand through his hair. Suddenly, he didn’t know how to talk to his best friend of almost fifteen years. How does one ask their best friend of fifteen years permission to marry his sister?
“Look, I know this conversation should’ve been had with your dad, and I wish it could be because there’s a lot of things I would say to him first,” JJ started off, his words a little too heavy for his liking, but he had to acknowledge it. He had to acknowledge the fact that they were still kids in a scary world, and Big John should’ve been better to you.
Clearing his throat, JJ took a big sip of his beer before forcing himself to meet John B’s gaze. “I mentioned it and you probably thought I was joking, but I also know there is nothing more she would want than for you to hear about this first. More than anything in the world, John B.”
John Booker Routledge had prepared himself for a lot of things in life, but he never prepared himself to be staring at his best friend with tears in his eyes over you. To be talking about another person protecting you when he couldn’t, to give up being the one you ran to for help. John B didn’t want to admit it, but he felt like this was saying goodbye to being your big brother.
“I love her, man. I love her more than I ever thought I was capable. She makes me… she makes me so good. Like I’m more than the kid with the piece of shit dad and the shit short stick. I’m more than that to her, and… and I couldn’t be more thankful for that. Like you can’t make that shit up, bro,” JJ let out a teary laugh and crossed his arms over his chest. “She’s like the fucking sunshine after a hurricane, like no matter what, it’s gonna be okay, and I don’t want to lose her. Ever.
“I want to make her the happiest person in the world. She deserves a life so much better than this one, where she’s not worried about food on the table, or if we’re coming home at night. She and Sarah, hell all of us, we all deserve that, man. I just…I just want the chance to give it to her.”
John B stared at the person across from him who was spewing words he couldn’t read in cursive. This was JJ, JJ fucking Maybank. The kid who smoked weed like it was his job and hosted keggers like it was nobody’s business. John B’s watched that version of JJ, the ticking time bomb version, completely disappear. That version of JJ doesn’t exist anymore, and in its place was the one John B had grown to trust when it came to you.
The version that held your hand when the road was rocky. The one who picked flowers in your favorite colors just to see the excitement in your eyes before they died two days later. The JJ that held you night after night when your head became too messy and you wanted to give up. This was the JJ that knew your anxiety attacks and how to stop them, how to be level-headed with you even when it was hard to. This is the JJ that John B knew you deserved.
JJ was pacing now that his best friend hadn’t really said much and he was worried the idea was flying out from under his fingertips. “I know I don’t deserve her, John B. I never will. And I’ll never forgive myself for letting everything happen to her. I should’ve been there, I should’ve done better. But I swear to you, from here on out, I will do everything I can, every lasting day of my life to make sure she’s safe.”
Reaching into the zipper pocket of his cargo shorts, he tugged out the signature shark tooth he usually had clipped around his neck, but this time there was a new piece attached. A silver ring on the chain weighed a little bit heavier than usual. JJ took apart the clasp and pulled the jewelry off before holding it out to John B.
“Sarah um… Sarah was with me, but I guess that’s obvious now. I didn’t know what the fuck princess cut meant, and the lady there went to the Kook academy and they used to be friends so I guess…”
JJ's voice floated away as John B stared at the ring in between his fingers. He’d seen this ring so many times in his life, and the realization of where made the tears fall. Holy shit.
John B crying caught JJ off guard and now he was panicking, “Dude, you good?”
“I made a call,” Sarah’s voice entered the conversation as John B turned to face her. She was teary herself, having eavesdropped a bit on the words shared. “Nicola said she remembered your dad from the shop.”
John B swallowed harshly and opened his arm to let Sarah tuck into his side. He stared at the object for a moment longer before holding it back toward JJ who was looking at him expectantly. “That was… that’s my mom’s ring. Our mom’s ring.”
JJ’s breath caught in his throat.
“Dad had pawned it when he got in deep with the gold and… how did you?” John B sniffled and rubbed his nose as he looked down at the girl next to him.
“Oh come on,” Sarah laughed at their shock, but deep down she knew this meant a lot to John B and it would mean even more to you. “She’s my best friend. Did you really think I was going to let you go in there and pick out something as important as this when you didn’t even know what a cushion halo was?”
JJ crashed into the blonde girl a little harder than he intended, but Sarah welcomed it regardless. She hugged him back just as tightly, feeling his shoulders shake beneath her touch. She was just glad to make this happen for the two of you. Nobody deserved it more.
JJ pulled back after a moment, giving her forehead a kiss before he was once again faced with his best friend and the lingering question. John B tackled him just as hard, the two boys clutching each other like a lifeline. Suddenly, they were kids on the playground again, defending each other when things hit a little too close to home. And shit, were you home to both of them.
“There is nobody…nobody, I would trust with her more than you,” John B sniffled when he leaned back to clasp JJ on the shoulder tightly, using the back of his hand to wipe the tears from his face. “Shes yours, JJ. Always has been.”
JJ let out a sob and embraced John B again. John B knew that deep down JJ never felt like he was good enough for you, but the two of you couldn’t have been more perfect for each other.
And although John B felt like he was losing you, there’s nobody he’d rather lose you to than his best friend, JJ Maybank.

GymRat!Miguel Part 1
I’ve seen everyone doing these drabbles/aus and I wanted to join! 🤠
content warning: It gets suggestive towards the end so MINORS BEWARE.
word count: 719 (kind of proofread, I got excited)
Daydreaming about GymRat!Miguel x PlusSize!Reader / Chubby!Reader and the dynamic of big tall bf x shorter chubby gf 🚻
Next ✩°。 ⋆⸜ 🎧✮ Masterlist
GymRat!Miguel who started off as an awkward, lanky, nerdy teen using the gym to blow off steam. His mom felt that he wasn’t a great influence to his brother, his father wasn’t his real father, and his step-brother was an asshole.
GymRat!Miguel who’s nearly triple his weight by the time he starts college, body full of muscle. His mom has calmed down despite him previously eating her out of a house and a home. His biological dad agreed to help with any leftover college expenses and his step-dad helps him move on campus. He’s tearful when he hugs Gabriel goodbye, promising to call and play their weekly games.
GymRat!Miguel who stays loyal to his nerdy roots and aims for a Science degree with a minor in Robotics for fun. He sticks out like a sore thumb in his classes, body taking up the ends of lab tables. Even though he prefers to sit in the front of classes, he opts to sit in the back so that everyone can see. He’s constantly using office hours and lingering after class so that he can make sure that his notes are correct.
GymRat!Miguel who first meets you in one of his bio labs and is immediately enamored by you. Your clothes hug your curves, you smell sweet, and something on you always matches. Your shoes and your backpack, your skirt and your jacket, your accessories and your nails.
GymRat!Miguel who ends up being in your group for a project and watches in awe as you take the lead, helping everyone decide which parts to complete. You go out of your way to make the powerpoint colorful and creative. You’re ecstatic when he turns in his parts extra early as everyone else has gone a-wall.
GymRat!Miguel who calms you down when the deadline is near and the rest of the group still hasn’t done their part. You two meet late in the library to finish everything. He thinks you’re adorable despite how stressed and tired you are. He makes the last minute decision to delete the other two group member’s names off of the title slide, taking the initiative to email the teacher before hand.
GymRat!Miguel who walks into the lab building on presentation day 50 minutes early and sees you being cornered by the other group members eyes full of confusion. He quickly walks over asking if there was a problem. Seeing him looming over them, the two decide give up, and scramble together a last minute presentation.
GymRat!Miguel who explains everything, telling you not to worry about the others and just focus on you all’s presentation. You two have great presentation, chemistry blooming as you bounce off each other. You both get an easy A and you hug Miguel out of an excitement before the next lab starts.
GymRat!Miguel who imprints the feeling of your body against his in his memory. Your smell, how soft you were, how small you felt in his arms, how tight you squeezed him.
GymRat!Miguel whose dreams of you have him tossing and turning in his twin sized bed that was far too little for him. He scares his poor roommate to death when his body hits the floor with a big boom. The dream of you under him shattering as he collides with the ground. He groans and apologizes to his roommate, pain in his side and his groin.
GymRat!Miguel who takes a cold shower, too aroused to go back to sleep. He bites his fist trying to quiet his moans, not wanting to wake his roommate for a second time. He replays images of you in his mind, pulling at his length until he shutters against the tile walls.
GymRat!Miguel whose heart drops when he checks his phone after his shower. You followed him on Instagram three hours ago. He checks your page and sees that you're private, but your profile picture is a lot. It's an angle from above you, your cleavage on display.
GymRat!Miguel who stands in the bathroom ogling at the photo like an idiot. He clicks the follow back button, watching as it shifts to pending, and stares down at his body again. He sighs and turns the shower back on, banking on his roommate sleeping through everything once again.
You had no idea the effect you had on him.

❥ pairing: husband!dad!heeseung x pregnant!wife!mom!reader
❥ genre: married!au, parents!au, pregnancy comfort, angst(ish)& fluff
❥ warnings: mentions of petnames (love, sweetheart & baby), pregnancy symptoms, feeling doubt, crying, mentions of being ugly, grammatical errors, not proofread, lmk if i missed something!!
———————————————————————
WC: 800
A/N: ok so it’s been a WHILE. like always, it takes me months just to get out a short fic like this 🙄 i’m so annoying and i’m so sorry. but anyway, this is for the anon who asked for a long version of the text message fic but this is more about early pregnancy symptoms and that kinda stuff, so hopefully this meets your expectations <<333 again so sorry for taking MONTHS!! also, the no doubt reference ;).
Just 2 months ago you and heeseung found out you were pregnant. It was a big shock and you felt quite scared, but heeseung quickly reassured you that you would get through it together and that he was gonna be there the whole time.
That eased your nerves a bit, but you still will always have those worries about becoming a mother and growing and birthing a child.
So far, you had been a little nauseous and had mood swings here and there, but tonight was the worst nausea you’ve had yet.
You sat up, feeling uncomfortably sick, you turned to Heeseung seeing him sleeping peacefully, you didnt want to wake him so you quietly and quickly go out of bed and ran to the bathroom before sitting by the toilet, feeling the need to puke but not being able to. You felt like crying from just the inconvenience and sick feeling coursing through your body.
After a while of sitting on the floor by the toilet, you suddenly heard the bathroom door opening.
You turned your head to see a worried heeseung. “Sorry to wake you” you groaned to yourself. He shook his head “don’t worry about me sweetheart. Are you feeling sick?” He crouched down next to you, rubbing your back softly. You nodded.
“Is there anything i can do to help?” He asked sweetly. “Could you get me some water?” You asked to which he quickly nodded and got up to get the water. After he returned he handed you the glass and you slowly drank the liquid. “Better?” He asked. “Yeah, thanks hee.” You hummed.
He stayed by your side for a while more, rubbing your shoulders and back to hopefully soothe you.
Suddenly you felt extremely nauseous again and aimed for the toilet. heeseung noticed this and quickly grabbed your long hair to avoid it from getting in the way, still rubbing and patting your back.
Once you finished, you started crying from the uncomfortable feeling and doubts you were having. “What’s wrong love, why are you crying?” He asked, turning you to face him, before wiping your hot tears.
“I hate this hee..” you cried. “i know love, I’m sorry.” He frowned at seeing you so upset. “What if i cant be a good mother to this baby?” You said. He cupped one of your cheeks, rubbing it softly. “You will be a good mother y/n. You are the sweetest, most patient person i know, and i know you’ll be the most amazing mother to this baby.” He comforted.
You looked at him before crying again. “You’re probably tired.” You said. He sighed, “Me? Baby you’ve been sitting here for how long now? You don’t need to worry about me right now, I’m doing just fine and I want to be here for you when you aren’t feeling good.” You frowned and his sweet words. “Here have some more water.” He said, handing you the glass.
After about an hour later, you were finally feeling better, and wanting to go back to bed.
After heeseung cleaned you up a bit, he walked you over the the bed and tucked you in before getting in bed beside you. He wrapped his arm around you, resting it on your tiny, growing bump. You quickly fell asleep, feeling exahausted from the past few hours.
____
In the morning, you woke up to the feeling of Heeseung’s warm body pressed against yours. His steady breathing was like a lullaby, and you couldn’t help but smile as you turned to face him. How did you manage to get stuck with someone as perfect as him, you thought. Your hand drifted to his hair, brushing softly through the strands. Just act of touching him filled you with warmth.
Heeseung’s eyes fluttered open at the soft touch, and he smiled sleepily at you. “Mmm, good morning,” he murmured, his voice thick with sleep. You quickly pulled your hand back, startled at having woken him. “Sorry,” you apologized, feeling embarrassed.
He chuckled lightly, his hand finding yours and guiding it back to his hair. “Don’t be, it felt good,” he said, his eyes soft with affection. You gave a small smile before continuing to rub his head.
“Are you feeling better?” He asked, rubbing up and down your waist. You nodded. “A lot better, yeah.” You said. Heeseung sighed, as if he had been holding his breath in worry the entire night. “I’m glad. I hate seeing you like that.
“Because I look ugly?” you teased, trying to lighten the mood. Heeseung’s eyes widened, and he quickly shook his head. “No, no. Not because of that at all. I just feel bad that I can’t do more to help. Seeing you in pain makes me feel helpless, that’s all.”
You chuckled softly, the tension in your chest easing. “I was just kidding, but I appreciate it, Hee. You always know how to make me feel better.”
He smiled and kissed the top of your head. “No more doubting yourself, okay?” He said. You sighed, feeling the weight of your worries lift slightly. “I’ll try,” you whispered.
“That’s all i need to hear. We are gonna be good parents y/n, i promise.” He smiled “youre gonna be a perfect dad, no doubt.” You giggled. “Same goes for you.” He kissed you softly.

☆ cw. mdni, fem!reader, fluffy smut, talks of having children, established relationship.

Zayne Always admired that look on your face whenever he would start making love to you.
Your messed up hair that no matter how much he tried smoothening it out with his fingers, it would end up even messier, your swollen parted glossy lips, and half-lidded awaiting eyes.
Zayne doesn't really know when he became fond of you. Perhaps it was when he first met you all those years ago, when you two were kids. Maybe it was when he found you passed out under a tree during a storm.
But ever since he realized his feelings for you all he could think about was making sure you don't get hurt. He's not sure if he's been doing a good job with that. Especially when you're asking for another round after he just wrecked your pussy from the long hours at the hospital, could you really blame him?
As if you could read his mind, you whisper "you're doing well, dearest."
"I should be the one reassuring you, love." He chuckled as he pressed a kiss on your forehead. He's quite glad you're in his arms. There are days where his work takes a toll on him more than usual.
He knows sometimes you're able and willing to go another round since you're quite greedy to keep the feeling going, he'd always make sure to stop you. You can be a little too impatient sometimes, it makes his cheeks flush a rosy pink as he rubbed the tip of his re-hardend flushed length against your slit, coating himself in your slick.
And there's your gasp and arch of your back once he pushed in with a slow, deliberate thrust, filling you all at once, like your cunt was swallowing him in that it never misses to make him dizzy.
His right hand traces along your left arm until it reached your hand to enclose your fingers together, where he could feel your wedding ring on his skin. with that, Zayne starts to move, his hips rolling in a slow, steady rhythm. He sets a gentle pace, focusing on long, deep strokes that aim to please rather than overwhelm as your lips find his into a messy, open-mouthed kiss, your tongues tangling lazily.
He angles his hips, hitting that spongy spot inside you that never fails to make you whimper and squirm underneath him. He reaches his free hand down between your bodies to find your clit, and he rubs slow, tight circles around the sensitive bud, matching the rhythm of his thrusts and your hand squeezes his so hard, signalling your pending orgasm.
Zayne can feel his own release building, the pressure coiling tighter and tighter, he redoubles his efforts, his fingers working on your clit faster as his cock starts pounding into harder, deeper for your pleasures. Your fluttering walls responds with a tight clench around his cock until your eyes are rolling back.
"Zayne," you pant his name softly like a prayer to his ear, your fingertips brushing over his shoulder to his cheek, "do you ever.. ever want to have a baby—"
The question catches him off guard. It's not that the thought of having kids with you doesn't excite him. Quite the opposite. You've both been married for a while, and he's quite keen on the idea.
"Haaah—" So keen that that it makes him cum right on the spot, he buries himself to the hilt inside, he groans low and long, his cock pulsing as he spills his seed into your awaiting womb in hot, thick spurts.
You're both silent in eachother's embrace for a while before he pulls out, you watch his every move without a word, from him cleaning you up to joining you back in bed so he could hold you close.
"You didn't answer me." You poke your question at him, and he raises an amused eyebrow, ".. the thought of having kids with you crosses my mind everytime i see you play with them." He answers you with passion, your heart skips a beat.
"... I think a copy of you and i would be cute." The idea of having a child that's a mix of both him and you being cute was something he also thought many times before. "Is that the only reason you want a kid?" He teased lowly, his hand moving to caress your nape now.
"Well you'd be a great father," you say it as if it's the obvious, and Zayne's smile grows wider as your statement, he couldn't help but feel happy hearing you think of him as a father.
The thought of you, carrying his child was quite appealing to him. He's quite sure he'd pamper you and take care of you ten times more than before.
"Do you really think so?" He asks as he watches you blink sleepily, "of course.. you're attentive, caring, loving, plus a doctor."
"And you think those will make me a great father?" His hand moves further down from your nape, it's now resting on the top of your hip, grabbing it lightly. Zayne's thumb continues to trace the skin of your hip in a soft manner. "How about you? Would you be a good mother?" He asks genuinely.
You're hesitant, "i don't think so."
"Why not?"
"..."
"I think you'll be an amazing mother, you just don't know it yet." Zayne softly pecks your cheek, and you blink slowly at the kiss.
Sometimes even he wonders why you can't see yourself the same way he does. He's sure if you were to give birth to his child, you'd instantly be in love with the little baby in your hands.
"you're so easy to love." You murmur, and his eyebrows furrow, "i mean.. anyone could fall for you because of your loveable nature." You peck at the corner of his lips this time.
Zayne's response is silent as he's still bewildered by what you said. He's never considered himself to be someone that would make a woman fall madly in love with him, when all he's ever thought of loving was that one person he's known all his life, in every universe.
"Don't think about it so much," you look down at him from your side in this still night, with your arms moving to cage him in close, "I love you."
He's quite lucky to have someone like you in his life, you're too sweet and kind with your words. He's always known that.
He stares at you quietly for a moment before responding. "I love you, so much."
You both retire for the night, with your heart's content knowing there still is a long way to your marriage.

Bridging Boroughs
Pairing: Congressman!Bucky x Bartender!Reader with a past. Platonic!Matt Murdock
Summary: You and Matt come up with a plan to take on Kingpin politically.
Word count: 1.9k
Warnings: Spoilers for DD:BA episode 8, (but works if you're not watching). Probably misunderstandings of the US political system.
------------
Matt groans as he wakes up. He feels like he got punched in the chest by a truck.
He tries to take in his surroundings - it’s hard over the beeping of the machines, but under the stillness of night he realises someone is sitting beside his hospital bed.
“Heather?” He croaks.
“Nope,” comes the unapologetic answer. He recognises that voice, but hasn’t heard it in a while. Matt frowns - is he wrong?
The pressure of booted feet landing on his bed, one ankle crossing over the other as his guest casually stretches out her legs gives him a better idea who his visitor is. He tries another name.
“You got it," you confirm. Matt can hear the mirthless smile in your voice. “Glad to hear we’re not complete strangers, even if I never would have guessed you’d throw yourself in front of a bullet aimed at the Kingpin.”
“I wasn’t-” Matt’s protestations are cut off by a tightness in his chest and he coughs, wincing at the pain, “I wasn’t trying to protect him.”
Your feet leave the bed as you press a plastic cup of water against the back of his hand. Matt takes it as silently as it's offered, a few sips doing little to soothe the roughness of his throat.
“What are you doing here anyway?” He asks, reluctantly letting you take the glass from him when the wires tangled around him stop him reaching the sidetable himself.
“Well, that’s rude.” Your tone is more amused than offended.
“I mean it. I haven’t seen you since-” his voice dies in his throat.
“Since the funeral.” You finish for him, voice softer, “But I keep up to date. You’re all over the news. Thought it would be polite to visit an old friend in hospital.”
“We’re barely friends,” there’s a bitterness to Matt’s tone, more from regret than animosity. It’s been a long time since you were close, “And I’m pretty sure visiting hours were over a long time ago.”
“I make my own hours, you know that. And I said old friend.” You pause, continuing when his only objection is an irritated sigh. “Plus I saw a mutual acquaintance of ours recently - he was worried about you.”
Matt’s mouth sets in a hard line. “There’s nothing to worry about.”
“Forgive me if I’m not convinced,” your eyes scan over his damaged body, the tubes and machines keeping him alive, “And honestly, when Frank Castle is concerned about your mental health, something’s gotta be pretty wrong.”
“So you’re still in touch with Frank. And you think I’m the one who’s in trouble.”
“I drop in on him now and then, make sure he’s not dead. I don’t charge in on him like a madman with a deathwish.”
Matt grimaces.
“So come on, Matt. I’ve seen the other news about you too. The other you. What’s going on?”
In the absence of anyone else to talk to who won’t judge him, Matt reluctantly opens up.
Time passes, and as the sun threatens to break over the horizon, you both sink into thoughtful silence.
"Did you ever think that maybe you need to meet Fisk on his level?” You ask.
“I’d never do what he does,” Matt spits emphatically, “That’s the difference between us-”
“That was the difference between you. The difference now is that he’s the one who’s gone ‘legit’. Officially, at least.”
Matt opens his mouth to object, but you talk over him. “You not changing the city as a lawyer is nothing new. I thought you'd resigned yourself to that after - after Foggy. But Fisk isn’t fighting in the dark any more; you’ve lost your advantage.”
“So what, are you saying I should run for Mayor?”
“God, no. But we need to look in that direction. Maybe someone else, someone who’s pro-enhanced p-”
“Wait,” Matt bolts upright, ignoring the pain that slices through him, “There is someone. We could at least ask for help, while I’m stuck here.”
“Oh, so there’s a ‘we’ now?”
Matt grins, “How familiar are you with Brooklyn?”
—
Getting inside the Congressman’s office is easy for you, even in broad daylight. Plenty of people filing in and about, milling around - and you know how to go unnoticed. The bustling space is a much more casual, open place than you'd expected.
Getting access to him directly is more of a challenge.
After holding a store room door open for a smiling volunteer, you duck inside. Spotting a pile of discarded t-shirts from the recent campaign, you grab one and quickly swap it for your own plain top, before adding the casual blazer you'd worn to look appropriately professional on top of it. No need to be too obvious.
You'd spied his private office on your first loop around the floor, and now you make your way indirectly towards it. One well-placed slippery flyer in the path of a rushing intern later, and the woman stationed at the desk outside his door is running to the bathroom to try and soak the hot coffee out of her shirt.
Smiling benignly, you slip unseen into the Congressman’s office. The man you're looking for has his back to the door, standing behind a desk leafing through a file.
You have a moment to admire his broad back, the white shirt straining over strong shoulders, tapering down where it tucks into dark pants over narrow hips.
Forcing your eyes away from where they’ve drifted down, you've barely taken two steps into the room before he speaks.
“Are you one of those people who breaks in to try and sell me extra security?”
You stop abruptly - he hasn’t even turned around.
“No,” you answer casually, continuing to approach, “But maybe I should be, that sounds like a fun job. Do you think it pays well?”
“No idea,” finally Congressman Barnes turns to face you, dropping his papers onto the desk between you.
You let your gaze linger over his torso. He must get those shirts custom made, you think, so they're snug over his flat stomach without bursting the buttons over his chest.
Barnes crosses his arms, and the motion reminds you to look at his face, where he’s quirking an eyebrow at you, unflustered and unamused.
“So what are you doing breaking into my office?”
“Breaking in?” You try to sound offended, “I just wanted to meet the person I’ve been door knocking for-”
“You’re not one of the volunteers,” he interrupts cooly, “And you’re definitely not on the payroll. So now you need to explain why you’re lying as well as breaking in.”
“What, you know every single person who works for you?”
“Yes.”
There’s a beat while you recalculate your approach, then take the last few steps towards him, smiling broadly and holding out your hand, “I just wanted to say hi, have a quick chat.”
Instead of answering or shaking your hand, Barnes narrows his eyes suspiciously at you.
“And there was no breaking anything, so it wasn’t breaking in,” you grumble, lowering your hand.
“I’m still not hearing an explanation.”
“Okay,” you sigh, presumptuously dropping into one of the chairs in front of his desk, “I’ve come to ask what you’re planning to do about Mayor Fisk.”
Bucky’s neutral facade cracks in surprise. “What I'm planning to do about Mayor Fisk?” he repeats.
“His crusade against ‘vigilantes’,” you put air quotes around the loaded term, “His so-called taskforce are breaking every law they come up against to wipe out anyone they decide is suspicious, including everyone with enhanced abilities they can get their hands on. You were elected on a platform of protecting those same people, right? You can’t just do nothing.”
“I ran on more than one issue,” Bucky says, sitting down opposite you, “And Mayor Fisk was also elected by the people - and even if it wasn’t a key part of his campaign, as I understand it his opposition to vigilantes wasn’t exactly a secret.”
“That’s no excuse to just roll over and let him do what he wants!”
Bucky frowns. “No, it’s not,” he muses, “But so far his taskforce have restricted themselves to Manhattan. Unless they cross into Brooklyn, there’s not much I can do about it.”
You're visibly unimpressed at his answer, crossing your arms and glaring at him in place of a response.
After a moment of thought, Bucky’s gaze intensifies, and he leans towards you across the desk, “Do you have a - vested interest - in this?”
Fighting to keep your heart rate steady, you answer him honestly, “I’m here on behalf of a friend. And everyone else who feels hopeless about what the Kingpin is doing to our city. Everyone else who wants to fix it.”
Bucky studies you silently. Your answer was true - and you have no intention of sharing more than you need to about your history, or those nights when it bleeds into your present. Even Fisk never knew about you, and with Karen in California, Matt and Frank are the only people left in the city who have any idea what you've done, and neither of them know you've not given it up as thoroughly as you suggest.
"This friend," Bucky starts, clearly not believing you, "they didn't want to speak to me themselves?"
"They're in hospital." Your answer is more vehement than you intended, and you hope you've not given too much away.
Barnes sits back with a sigh, “Okay. I’ll talk to my team about it. We’ve been considering putting out a statement; a citizen complaint is a good enough reason to push that through. And I’ll look into what else we can do. Encourage an investigation into the taskforce, or some kind of oversight requirements. Legal protections for enhanced people with no record of vigilantism.”
It’s less than you wanted, but more than you'd hoped for from a politician. “Sounds like an okay start,” you allow.
An amused smile flickers across Bucky’s face as he stands up, dismissing you. You mirror him.
“Are you a Brooklyn resident?” He asks.
“Not exactly.”
“That’s a no.”
“Compassion doesn’t stop at the East River,” you retort, and Bucky’s smile widens.
“I agree. And I give you my word that I’ll do everything I can to rein Fisk in and keep innocent people safe, inside my jurisdiction and out.” He holds his hand out to you.
“Good,” you answer begrudgingly, grasping his hand firmly, “I’m holding you to that.”
“I’d expect nothing less,” he squeezes back, “And your friend - if it’s dangerous for them in Manhattan, there’s a safe place for them this side of the river. Always. If Fisk’s taskforce follows - well, there might be more I can do.”
“Good to know. And if you ever want to update me on your progress - save me trekking all the way out here again - I work at a bar in Hell’s Kitchen,” You give him the name as you turn to leave. “If you make good on your promise, I might even buy you a drink.”
Bucky smiles. It’s an appealing offer. “I’ll keep that in mind. Wait,” he nods to your shirt, where Vote Barnes for the 9th District is emblazoned across your chest, “Did you pay for that?”
Rolling your eyes, you slip your jacket from your shoulders, Bucky’s eyes following the smooth motion, “I was going to give it back,” you lie.
“Don’t.” he stops you, a quick twitch at the corner of his lips, “You can keep it. Looks good on you.”
You smile languidly as you pull the jacket back on.
“Thanks, Congressman,” you reach for the door handle, adding over your shoulder, “I’ve been looking for something to wear in bed.”
Once his door has swung shut behind you Bucky lets out a long breath, rubbing his right hand over his face as he sinks into his chair.
He could have handled that more professionally, but something in your fearless attitude and sly smile had intrigued him - and the reason for your questionable visit was smart, principled - and ballsy.
He’ll definitely be stopping by that bar in Hell’s Kitchen.

Summary: Seventeen years ago, your life had taken a turn for the worse when your newborn twins were separated from you by a cruel twist of fate. The same fate had led you to the N109 Zone, to your children who were all grown up now. Reconciliation with your boys would've been slightly easier had they somehow not acquired a father figure over the years who wasn't letting them go anytime soon.
Warning(s): Subject to change as we progress further into the story. For this chapter: mentions of blood and drugs, self-suturing, minor character deaths, stalking, some comfort in this one.
Word count: 1.8k
Playlist coming soon.
Notes: New chapter every Thursday! This story is for the Sylus girlies' who consider Luke and Kieran their babies. A little information on the timeline: in this story, the reader is 35 with Luke and Kieran being 17. Sylus never felt like 28 to me so he's a hot ass 39 year old man (bear with me). The timeline is a bit confusing I know but soon it'd be cleared too. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me and I'd try my best to give you a proper answer without revealing too much. Let me know if you wish to be added in the tag list for this series. ♥

The warehouse loomed like a tomb swallowed by the night, its skeletal frame etched against the bruised sky, whispering secrets of violence and forgotten deals. Flickering neon lights spilled weak, jaundiced glows onto the cracked concrete floor, casting long, distorted shadows that danced like specters of the past. The air was thick with the metallic tang of blood, oil, and the faint, acrid bite of burned rubber.
You ran for your life through the chaos like a monkey with its tail on fire. Bad idea. Your mind had screamed at you an hour ago as you snuck into the warehouse to investigate further the drug traces that led to it. But you rarely listened to your brain, and that habit had brought you to this exact moment — hidden behind a few metal racks, your hand gripping your gun beneath the armor of your tailored black blazer.
You’d made the rookie mistake of visiting the warehouse without double-checking if it was truly empty. Some men from the drug-dealing gang were dozing off on makeshift beds after consuming too much liquor. Being light on your feet, you’d made sure not to make any noise just in case, and you were almost done collecting evidence when things went south. You’d pulled out your Polaroid camera for instant pictures of the drug packets, but after a few mechanical shutter sounds, you heard other noises in the background.
You ducked behind metal containers, your heart halting when you peeked and saw burly men searching around. Thus began your little cat-and-mouse game.
Back in the present moment, you analyzed the situation after calming yourself down. Four men on the ground floor of the warehouse, rifles in hand, with you on the first floor. You had a gun, of course — you weren’t that stupid — but taking all of them down would be a hassle, especially with a limited number of bullets. Soon enough, they’d come up to search.
You quickly formed a plan: distract them by aiming at your far left, behind the metal containers, then jump off the first floor and hurry out through the small cavity in the wall you’d come in from. You smacked your forehead with your hand when your mind began to play the Subway Surfers theme song as if it were the musical backdrop of a film starring you.
You were all set to put your plan into motion when you heard their raised voices. But their angry spouts weren’t directed at you — they were directed at someone else who had entered the warehouse. A complete silence fell over the space, and as you strained your hearing, you could make out a new, huskier voice.
Soon after, loud, painful screams echoed before abruptly stopping. You heard footsteps retreating, presumably out of the warehouse.
You blinked once, processing the turn of events. The men who were targeting you were probably lying dead on the ground floor right now — victims of another man who wanted them dead. Strange. You thought, glancing at the Polaroid camera hanging around your neck. At least the evidence was safe, and you were alive. You’d think about who your guardian angel was later. For now, you need to head back to your temporary apartment in the slightly safer regions of the N109 Zone.
You rolled back your tensed shoulders and moved out of your hiding spot, making your way downstairs via a mostly hidden and rusty staircase. Your gun was still tightly clutched in your right hand, just in case. You were about to weasel out of the wall cavity when two pairs of footsteps had you freezing.
You immediately whipped around, aiming your gun at the origin of the sound, and shot without thinking twice.
The tall person you’d shot groaned, knees buckling as he fell to the ground. Beside him, another man in the same uniform, groaning just a second later, clutched his arm before also crumbling to the ground. You gasped, realizing they hadn’t even been on your trail — they were walking over to the dead, burly men.
You felt bad, okay? You knew anything could happen if you moved closer to the unknown individuals, but you didn’t wish to leave them in that condition — especially since they hadn’t even targeted you. They were probably henchmen of your supposed guardian angel if their matching black costumes and crow-themed masks — with horns and beaks concealing their faces — meant anything.
After an internal battle between your logic and your conscience, you finally decided to approach them. You were still on guard but had put your gun away in its holster under your blazer. You nudged the men, but they didn’t even budge, so you assumed they’d passed out from the pain. You pondered why the second man had passed out if he hadn’t even been anywhere near the bullet.
Rushing to your motorcycle, you grabbed your medical kit and hurried back to them.
Luckily, the bullet hadn’t entered anyone’s body — it had only grazed the first man’s arm. It left an angry, gaping gash, though, which was currently bleeding. You rolled his sleeve up to his shoulder and began stitching it. You needed to get this done before they woke and swore mortal enmity against you. You tried to hurry, not really wanting to know if the stitches were messy, but some unknown feeling had you slowing down and being a lot more gentle than you could possibly afford right now.
After some time, you were done tending to the first man’s wounds and had even checked the second man for any injuries for inexplicable reasons. You quickly stood up, double-checking if you had everything you owned on you before rushing out of the warehouse to where your bike was hidden. You put your belongings in the saddlebag before zipping it shut. As you were about to grab your helmet, a small tap on your shoulder caused you to freeze mid-air.
You glanced at the two sets of shadows stretching on the ground just behind yours. It seemed you’d wasted too much time, and now you were about to be barbecued by the probably angry young henchmen. With no backup plan in mind, you turned around with your hands raised in surrender and eyes clenched shut.
“Thanks, missus.”
You’d expected a gun’s muzzle to your head or a hand around your neck, strangling you. And out of all the other wild things you’d expected, thanks was the last of them. You thought you were dreaming until another calm voice brought you back.
“You shot us unknowingly out of human instinct. But you still tended to us, so we decided to drop by and let you know we appreciated that.”
You were hyperventilating, you were sure of it. Until the first man spoke with a lilt:
“Your aim is super cool, though, missus. We were actually awake but wanted to see who had shot us, so we played dead, and it worked.”
You slowly lowered your hands as you heard them burst into hearty laughter. You opened your eyes, rigid as you took sight of their faces beneath the masks. The injured one wiped the sweat off his forehead with a napkin, and the other rubbed his chin — all the while laughing.
It wasn’t their near-identical faces that threw you off — no — it was the color of their eyes. Their irises were the same hues as yours: electric grey, intense as storm-churned clouds.
A gripping realization churned your heart as you silently noted the inky, curly locks — like those of the father of your late twins — and the resemblance to you in their facial features and height. Your lips wobbled, and the smarter side of you willed you not to jump to conclusions. But how could you ignore the unfamiliar warmth and contentment in your chest as you watched them laugh and interact?
Still, the lawyer in you knew better than to claim anything without evidence backing it up, so you remained quiet. They looked quite young, probably in their late teens, and that assumption caused your mind to race.
You pulled yourself together as both of them started speaking simultaneously:
“Anyways—”
The twins narrowed their eyes at each other, and you suppressed a smile.
The uninjured one continued, “We have to deal with the dead scums inside and be back before dusk, so sayonara, missus.”
Both of them saluted you as if you were some sort of general before turning on their heels.
Before they were out of earshot, you called out, “Wait.”
The twins turned around, looking at you quizzically. You shuffled on your feet, asking reluctantly, “What are your names?”
The twins nodded. The injured one pointed at himself and introduced, “The one who you shot is me. I’m Luke, the elder twin,” he pointed to his brother and trailed on, “And this is Kierran, the younger twin. Now, we really ought to dash before boss-man has us in a tight spot. Bye, missus.”
The twins waved you goodbye in sync before hurrying back into the warehouse.
You felt as if lightning had struck you. All doubts, all what-ifs — cleared. You’d crocheted a pair of blankets when you’d found out you were having twin boys seventeen years ago. Your mother had suggested adding the names you’d chosen for them on it too, aside from the cartoons.
Luke and Kierran.
You’d smiled in pure bliss that day as you told your father the names you’d chosen for your kids from the crocheted blankets. A smile of the same kind, albeit even happier, now bloomed on your face as you realized that fate had found a way to reunite you with your children once again.
And you weren’t letting them out of your sight ever again.
A joyful smile curled across your face as you slipped into the dim confines of the apartment — your so-called temporary hideout. The door clicked shut behind you with finality.
You dropped onto the couch, sinking into the worn-out plush. Their faces played over in your mind, every gesture, every word. You were already thinking of the next move, the next encounter. You’d make it happen. You always did.
But then… a pause.
Your brow furrowed, the grin faltering just slightly as a thought cut through the haze like a blade.
“They mentioned some boss-man…” you muttered, voice low, nearly lost to the silence. Your gaze flicked to the window, unfocused. “Who exactly are my children working for?”
The room gave no answer.
But if you'd been paying closer attention — if you'd listened to the silence — you might have caught the almost imperceptible flutter of feathers, or the faintest click of talons on steel. A pair of glowing, crimson eyes blinked once from the darkness, then vanished. The answer to your question, however, did not linger.
The spy departed, slicing through the night sky until it reached the edge of a sprawling mansion. It landed softly on the calloused fingers of the very man you were trying to uncover. The bird gave a mechanical caw as a red hologram burst into life, casting a ghostly light across the man’s face.
There you were, speaking, pacing, questioning. Vulnerable. Unaware.
“Interesting,” the man said, voice like fine velvet. His eyes burned with something unreadable — part curiosity, part calculation.
He leaned forward, watching the screen closely.
“Very… interesting.”

One Page At A Time

Exam stress is something Lily and Oscar never want to see from their daughter. So they do what they can. They help her.
The house was quiet — not peaceful, but tense.
Upstairs, the only sound was the furious scratch of a pen on paper, the occasional frustrated sigh, and the muffled thud of a textbook being slammed shut.
Y/n Piastri-Zneimer sat hunched over her desk, hair piled into a messy bun, eyes darting over formulas and facts that refused to stick. Her room looked like a war zone — colour-coded notes scattered across her bed, flashcards stuck on the wall like battle plans, and a half-finished mug of tea that had gone cold hours ago.
It was exam season. The final exam season.
The one that decided her future.
University applications were around the corner, and her grades this year would carry the most weight. And though Y/n had always been a steady, self-motivated student, the pressure had started pressing in on all sides like a slow tide. Her highlighters were running dry. Her sleep was inconsistent. And she hadn’t smiled — not really — in days.
Oscar had noticed.
So had Lily.
They had heard the small, tired voice from behind her door whenever they checked in. Had seen her rubbing her temples at breakfast, eyes still glazed over from late-night revision. Oscar had even found her dozing off on the couch with her physics notes stuck to her cheek one evening after a study break turned nap.
That night, as Lily stirred pasta in the kitchen and Oscar leaned against the counter with a quiet frown, they exchanged a look.
“She’s going to burn out,” Lily said softly, voice laced with concern.
Oscar nodded. “I keep telling her to take a break, but she won’t listen. Says she doesn’t have time.”
“Then maybe we make the time for her.”
Oscar raised an eyebrow. “Operation Parental Intervention?”
Lily smiled. “Exactly.”
It started small the next morning.
Oscar brought her breakfast in bed — toast, berries, and a soft-boiled egg with a silly little smiley face drawn in sharpie.
Y/n blinked at the tray. “Dad… what’s this?”
He shrugged casually. “Brain fuel. Straight from the Piastri pit crew. You’re the car, exams are the race, and you can’t win if you don’t refuel.”
Y/n laughed softly despite herself. “That was so cheesy.”
“I aim to please.”
Later that afternoon, Lily walked into Y/n’s room with a stack of hot chocolate, fluffy socks, and a candle that smelled like vanilla and old libraries.
“Okay,” she said, clapping her hands. “Five-minute breathing session, followed by a twenty-minute reset walk with your very stylish mum. No negotiation.”
“But I have—”
“Y/n.”
Y/n looked up and saw the gentleness in her mum’s eyes. The kind that didn’t push too hard, just held space. Slowly, she closed her textbook.
“…Fine. But only because I’m starting to smell like exam stress.”
They walked around the neighbourhood, talking about everything but school — their dog barking at leaves, the colour of the sunset, how Lily once fell off a Segway in front of a busload of tourists.
And just like that, some of the weight fell off Y/n’s shoulders.
But the big move came the next evening.
Y/n was hitting a breaking point with her maths exam. Graphs and derivatives blurred together, and nothing made sense. Her hands trembled from too much caffeine. Her chest was tight.
“Stupid curve,” she muttered, eyes burning. “I don’t get it, I just… don’t get it.”
A knock sounded on her door.
Oscar poked his head in. “Hey, I need you for something.”
“Dad, I’m really not—”
“Y/n.”
She sighed, standing reluctantly.
But when she followed him downstairs, she blinked in confusion.
The living room had been transformed.
A blanket fort — a giant one — took over the couch, twinkly lights draped along the top like constellations. A projector lit the wall with her favorite movie’s opening scene. Popcorn sat in a bowl shaped like a racing helmet. On the floor was a handwritten sign:
“NO EXAMS ALLOWED BEYOND THIS POINT.”
Lily popped her head out from under the fort flap. “Come on in, Professor. Time to shut off that brain.”
Y/n stared, eyes wide. Then she let out a choked laugh.
“You guys are ridiculous.”
Oscar beamed. “And you love it.”
She crawled inside, curling up between them under a mountain of pillows. Her hand found Oscar’s and squeezed.
“Thanks, Dad.”
He squeezed back. “One page at a time, yeah?”
“Yeah.”
That night, after the movie ended and Y/n had fallen asleep against her mum’s shoulder — breathing finally even and calm — Oscar looked down at her peaceful face and smiled.
She’d be okay.
Because she didn’t have to carry the pressure alone.
Not when she had them in her corner, cheering her on — no matter the grade, no matter the result.
Just like he’d always wanted to be for her.
Another piece of work done :)
I'm heading to bed now. I can't wake up upset or anything or I'll miss the bus, since I have school and all.
That's Gang Gang out!!!!

Purgatory
warnings// SMUTTT, fluff with some angst, little bit of Sam bashing (not really but Y/N isn't his biggest fan in this one)
lil summary// based on events in Season 9 Episode 1 with my own spin on it
Dean x reader

You felt like you were going crazy, it's been almost a year since you lost Dean, you didn't even know if he was still alive but you would never stop looking until you found him… or his body. Sam never even tried... his excuse "dean and I made a promise" you tried to argue but he didn't want to hear it.
It only got harder each day, you weren't any closer to finding him today than you were six months ago, you tried to keep in contact with Kevin but Sam wouldn't return your calls so you had no idea what was happening to him. You tried to look for him but all you really wanted to do was find your boyfriend. That's all you wanted and the hope that you would was fading with each passing day.
It was like any other day you got up at 5am after a quick three hour Power Nap to continue your search. You poured some cereal and sat down on you laptop looking for anything that could relate to the man that was Dean Winchester. You moved to your search board in Bobbys cabin’s living room trying to connect any dots that could bring you closer to him. You couldn't help feeling more and more defeated when you couldn't find anything. You sighed taking a seat on the couch rubbing your temples trying to stop the tears from falling.
————————————————————————————————————————————————
Your head snapped up as the door started to open, you grabbed your gun and aimed it at the door ready for what was about to walk in.
"Dean?!" You cried out, you threw your gun to the side and tan to hug him. He caught you straight away wrapping his arms tightly around you "it's me, I'm back sweetheart" his voice muffled as he spoke against your neck. You pull back from the hug slightly to really look at him taking in his presence "it's really you" you cried, you hands cupping the sides of his face "it's really me baby, but I know you gotta do the tests, so let's do them and we can talk about where I was for the year…" dean said his hands tightly holding your hips as close to him as possible.
You smiled up at him. not letting go of him "I don't need to do the tests, I know it's you" you pulled him down towards you, crashing your lips against his. Dean reciprocated immediately, his hands ran down your body squeezing your ass making you moan, he grabbed the back of your thighs and lifted you up. You wrapped your legs tightly around his hips moaning when his Jean clad bulge pressed against your aching core "mmm bedroom dean" you mumbled against hips lips not wanting to break the kiss as his tongue invaded your mouth in a familiar kiss
Dean didn't say anything as he continued the kiss, he just walked towards the bedroom you'd taken home in, he threw you to the bed making you squeal, he shrugged off his tan flannel and grey undershirt leaving his sculpted chest bare, you shrugged off your own shirt leaving you in just a black lace bra. Dean kicked off his jeans leaving him in just a pair of black boxer shorts before getting on top of you, pulling your lips back into the heated kiss "god it's been so fucking long" you whisper against his lips "damn right it has sweetheart, we gotta make up for lost time" dean mumbled as he loved kisses down your neck before reaching your chest "gotta get rid of this first" dean rold you before he ripped your bra off, displaying you perky breasts to him
Dean groaned before rushing forward sucking harsh marks over your chest making you squirm under him, you ran your fingers through his short hair holding him close as he he left his marks down your chest to your abdomen not stopping until he was at the waistline of your pants "lift your hips sweetheart" dean told you, rubbing his rough hands up to your waistline
You did as you were told and lifted your hips allowing dean to pull your pants and panties down in one swift pull. He placed his hands on the inside of your thighs and you clenched around nothing as you grew wetter by every second. Dean spread your legs apart making you let out an airy moan as the cool air hit your wet core "dean please, I need you so fucking bad baby" you begged tugging for him to come back up to you "we have all the time in the world for foreplay, but right now... I just need you inside me"
Dean bit his lip harshly in need. He took off his underwear throwing it to the other side of the room letting his big hard cock spring free. "Crap I don't have a condom, is there any left from last time" dean asked as he wandered his hand down your core before inserting his finger inside your wet hole thrusting it inside you, moaning as you clenched around him "i- oh god, I think they ex-oh fuck Dean please. Expired!" you cried out when he added another his pace never stopping "risk it?" Dean asked, his magical fingers never stopping
You nodded quickly "I've waited a year, I can't wait another day" dragging him back into a heated kiss as your legs wrapped tightly around his bare hips, gasping sharply when his hard cock pressed against your soaked opening "I can't wait either sweetheart" dean slowly pushed his tip inside making you wince slightly "you okay? Need time to stop?" Dean asked quickly.
Shaking your head you wrapped your arms tighter around the back of his neck "I'm okay baby... I just it's been a year since we last were, well you know... together... intimately" dean chuckled before pressing a gentle kiss on your lips staring softly into your eyes "you waited for me?"
Staring back at him tilting your head with a confused smile "of course I did. Baby I haven't stopped looking for you... not even for a damn day". Dean rubbed his hands up and own your smooth thighs, his eyes filled with not just lust but with something else "i... i ... I love you Y/N, so fucking much" you eyes filled with tears while holding back sobs... you've waited years for dean to say that "I love you too De". Dean crashed forward once more crashing his plump lips hard against yours, tangling his tongue with your’s as his hand guided his cock to push deeper inside of you, making you let out a loud moan against his lips
"Oh fuck- that feels so fucking good" you cried out pushing your feet against the top of his ass to keep him nestled deep inside of your warm pussy. "You ready?" Dean asked against your lips, a single line of mixed spit keeping them attached as you let out an airy "yeah"
Deans hands gripped your hips tightly, he pulled his hips back almost all the way before thrusting his cock inside you hard. "YES!" You screamed urging him to continue his movements, slamming his hips against yours continuously "you feel so fucking good. Could live in this sweet pussy" dean confessed slamming against you once more. You screamed in pleasure as his pelvic bone rubbed against your swollen clit, "please go faster" you begged, Dean obligated moving your legs so they rest over his shoulders allowing him to penetrate you faster and deeper, drawing out screams from your sweet mouth with every thrust,
"I'm not gonna last baby" dean groaned, his hips never stopping "me either" you cried out out taking deep breaths as your body chased its high. Deans hand made its way up your body, making sure to grope your sweat coated breast before moving up to your throat, he wrapped his hand lightly around it, only applying a small amount of pressure but it was enough to make your eyes roll as your orgasm hit your body in fast waves as you screamed his name.
Dean groaned loudly as his cock stilled inside of you, spurting out hot white stripes of cum against your walls. He lay his head against the crook of your sweaty neck his soft cock still inside you as you both tried to get your breathing back under control. You scratched your fingers through his slightly longer than usual hair “I know we jumped the gun a little by jumping… well into bed, but I’m so happy your back home. I have no idea how I survived that year without you…” you smiled down at him “I’m here now sweetheart, and I’m not going anywhere again” dean promised before giving you a more gentle kiss on your swollen lips.
Dean pulled out of you gently making you let out a low gasp. Dean rolled over your body so he was laid beside you, he wrapped his arm around you before pulling you to lay against his bare chest “oh I missed this so fucking much” you confessed, your finger tracing his anti possession tattoo, something you’ve always done after sex. “Me too sweetheart. Hey where’s Sammy? I haven’t heard anyone walking around here since I got in, I’m thinking he snuck out when he saw us head into the bedroom” dean chuckled,
You face grew hot at the mention of sam, it’s not like you hated him, he’s your boyfriends brother and you loved him like a brother… but you seen a different side to him after this, a side you didn’t know if you could forgive “dean listen I-” you tried to say before the door opening and closing for your attention “ah there, he’s back” dean said moving forward slightly taking you with him before throwing on a pair of pants and his undershirt leaving his flannel for you
You put on deans flannel and your panties from earlier to cover yourself. Dean grabbed your hand gently tugging you into the living room to see the taller Winchester stood awkwardly “Sammy!” Deans gruff voice called pulling his younger brother into a big hug “it’s good to see you man” Sam swallowed thickly as they pulled back from the hug “it’s good seeing you too dean. I mean I can’t believe your freaking alive! What the hell happened to you” Sam exclaimed.
“Well standing to close to that exploding bastard dragged me to where he went… we’ll not just him, all monsters” dean shrugged, you turned to look at him you face twisted in shock and fear “w-what?” Dean wrapped his arm around you waist tugging you against him “it doesn’t matter now. All that maters is I’m back”
“Dean, you were in purgatory for a whole year?” You asked, your voice breaking as you felt you cheat tighten with sadness and guilt “yeah, I guess times flies when your running for your life” he joked, but you didn’t find it funny. You pulled away from his embrace and took a seat on the worn couch, you put you head in you hands and sighed “oh god, I should have looked harder, I should have thought of fucking purgatory… I-I” dean cut you off kneeling in front of you “Y/N, you guys we’re trying to look for me- hell if the shoe was on the other foot I wouldn’t have thought about purgatory either but you and Sammy-”
“Dean listen… we gotta talk” Sam stood scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. Dean turned to give Sam a look of confusion, still not moving from his place in front of you “talk about what Sammy?”
Sam sighed awkwardly “it’s fine Sam, just leave it” you tried to stop him, you knew Dean would only be hurt by what his younger brother had done “leave what? What the hell happened Sam?”dean stood up, walking towards Sam confused “nothing happened Dean real-”
“I left the life dean” Sam interrupted. Dean looked between you both, his facial expressions unreadable “you left… as in you didn’t look for me?” Sam swallowed hard looking at his brother, “no, I quit the life” you closed your eyes not wanting to be here for this, but there was nowhere for you to go do you just stayed sat on the couch silent tears rolling down your face
“What do you mean you quit the life? So you just decided to turn your back on the family business!” Dean demanded his voice raising slightly. Sam let out a dry chuckle “well nothing says family like the whole family being dead”
Dean slammed his hands on the table making you jump at the bang “I wasn’t dead Sam. I wasn’t fighting for my damn life everyday for a goddam year” dean yelled. You knew this could get ugly so decided to try and stop it as quickly as possible “dean…” you rubbed your hand across his back the soothe his tense muscles
“Dean I thought I saw you die. Hunting is what got every single member of my family killed. I had no one left-” your head snapped around to the younger Winchester “oh that’s not true and you know it! I tried to get you to help me Sam. I wanted your help for crying out loud!” You cried out “sam I tried so hard to get you to help me right up until you stopped answering all your phones. I was the one who was alone, I didn’t even know what was happening with Kevin because you stopped answering me” you yelled pointed your finger at yourself to emphasise your words
Deans face grew harder as your confession went on “I’m gonna take a walk before I do something I might regret” dean muttered angrily before storming out of the cabin
“Y/N, I’m-” Sam tried to talk but you didn’t want to hear it “just don’t… don’t talk to me, I have absolutely nothing to say to you” you told him with a harsh tone before hiding away in your room.
————————————————————————————————————————————————
You tried to wait up for Dean but by the third hour you had cried yourself to sleep, this day was the most draining you’ve had in a long time. It wasn’t all bad though, you got the love of your life back today.
You stirred to the sound of the door creaking open, a blinding light entering the room. “Dean? Is that you?” You mumbled tiredly “yeah it’s me sweetheart… I’m sorry for taking off earlier I just… I needed some space away from Sam before I took his damn head off” dean grumbled as he kicked his shoes off before hoping into the bed, pulling you tightly against him. You curled against him, wrapping your leg tightly around his hips “dean, don’t fight with your brother because of this please. He was hurting too and he just… he had a bad way of coping” you told him straining your neck up to look at him
He let out a deep sigh “I know, I just- I would never do that do that to him… and he left you, the one thing I asked him to do was look after you if anything ever happened to me but he couldn’t even do that.” You smiled against his chest “you know I can take care of myself baby” deans arms tightened around you as he closed his eyes a small smile playing on his plump lips “I know you can baby, I just don’t want you to ever have to. You’re my girlfriend, it’s my job to protect you, no matter what”
You leaned up and pressed a loving kiss on his lips, deans hand moved to the back of your head, keeping you as close as possible for the small kiss. Dean was the first to pull back, his deep green eyes staring down at you softly “I love you sweetheart” you smiled giving his lips one more peck before pulling back “I love you too Dean, I’m so happy to have back home with me” you told him as you cuddled into his side once again, holding on to him as tightly as you possible could, hoping that it wasn’t all a dream, and when you wake up he’ll still be there, next to you, holding you.

“why are you two idiots looking at me like that?” y/n set her suitcase down outside the door and glanced between her best friend and his brother. “jack, please tell me why you guys keep exchanging that look.”
“promise you won’t kill me. or luke.”
“fine. just get on with it.”
“you’re gonna be sharing the room with quinn for the week.”
“okay now you’re just joking. please tell me you’re joking.” she let out a soft chuckle but when she noticed how their looks stayed serious, she stopped. “no. this can’t be happening.”
“i’m sorry but we used a random name picker to determine the room sharing situation.”
“that’s a ridiculous way to choose a roommate. i call a do over.”
“there’s no point in trying, y/n. i already tried to get them to change their minds but those two idiots are dead set on making us miserable all week.” quinn leaned against the doorframe and looked at the three people before him. “oh, want to know the most interesting part?” his voice was laced with sarcasm but y/n easily caught on.
“oh, you’ve got to be fucking kidding me.” she pushed past him and stopped in her tracks when she saw the room. “one damn bed? come on, jack. what did i ever do to you guys?”
“oh relax. you act like sharing a room with me is the end of the world.”
“10 minutes ago, the idea was tolerable at best. but now, it’s torturous.”
“ouch.” quinn feigned heartbreak and chuckled. “if i cared, that probably would’ve hurt. but seeing as how i don’t care, i’m gonna move on with my life. feel free to sleep on the chair if you don’t want to share with me.”
“you’re insufferable.” y/n rolled her eyes and went to grab her bag.
“no. allow me.” jack was quick to grab it for her and discard it in the room. “i promise to make this whole thing up to you when we get home.”
“i’ll hold you to that.” y/n sighed and waited for quinn to claim the bed. when he took a little longer in the hallway with his brothers, y/n took the opportunity to lay down. just as she was about to close her eyes, the door opened and quinn walked in. he noticed her laying on the bed and got down to where he could be at eye level with the near-sleeping girl.
“uh, what do you think you’re doing?”
“shhh. trying to nap.” she reached her finger out and dragged it down his face. quinn swatted her hand away in response.
“fine. but move over. i want to sleep too. need the energy for dinner tonight.”
“insufferable i say.” y/n mumbled and scooted to the edge of the bed. quinn walked around it and climbed in.
this was going to be a long week.
🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒
dinner should’ve been easier but for y/n, it was more uncomfortable than the nap she attempted to take a few hours earlier.
“what do you think he’s even doing over there? the waitress is way out of his league.” quinn watched as jack chatted with the waitress up at the hostess podium.
“first of all, if anything, jack is out of her league. he’s too good for anyone. and second, why do you care what he’s doing? at least he’s having fun.” y/n shoved her fork into her desert and nibbled at it.
“i’m starting to think you have a little crush on jack.” quinn smirked, knowing that that’s exactly what was going on.
“what? i do not.” y/n shook her head and went to kick him under the table.
“ouch.” luke winced and rubbed his shin.
“oops. sorry luke. i was aiming for the idiot beside you.” she shot quinn a look and he quickly returned it. “you never told me why you cared so much that he was flirting with the waitress.”
“it doesn’t matter and even if it did, you don’t need to know. it’s none of your business.” quinn’s voice raised a little, causing y/n to shrink back in her seat a bit.
“y-you’re right. it was a stupid question.” she returned her attention to her nearly empty plate.
even though she and quinn weren’t exactly friends, she had never been on the receiving end of one of his rare angry outbursts. she hated to admit it but it stung a little bit.
“do you guys mind if i head back up to the room? i’m exhausted.”
“yeah sure. no problem.” luke looked at his friend and smiled sympathetically. he could tell what quinn said had effected her.
“i’ll be up later.” quinn didn’t even bother to look up as y/n stood up and walked out. and when jack returned to the table, luke told him what happened.
quinn felt bad when he heard luke recall the events he was a part of not even 5 minutes ago. he never intended to hurt y/n.
🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒
the next 3 days, y/n avoided quinn as much as she could. it was difficult when they shared a room and they were both there to spend time with luke and jack.
during group outings, y/n would excuse herself and she would never return, instilling panic in the three brothers. but at night, when quinn would get back to their shared room, he would catch sight of how peaceful the girl looked when she slept.
the first few nights, quinn didn’t want to disturb her so he ended up on the chair in the corner. but on the 4th night, quinn was unable to sleep.
y/n had been tossing and turning for almost an hour before her body sat upright and she started bawling. something bothered her and she searched the room for another presence. her eyes landed on quinn as he rushed over to her.
“hey. what’s wrong?”
“i’m sorry. i didn’t mean to wake you. p-please go back to sleep, quinn.”
“not until you tell me what you were just dreaming of.” he carefully reached up to wipe her tears off her cheeks, silently urging her to tell him what was on her mind.
30 minutes later and every significant detail of her nightmare had been explained. she feared that jack was growing tired of her friendship and wanted to end it with her.
and even though it was just a dream, quinn felt the urge to make sure his brother would never leave her. he wanted to use any means necessary to make sure if it.
but he knew jack would never do that. he loved y/n tremendously.
just as quinn stood back up and headed for the chair again, y/n stopped him.
“hey, thanks again for listening to my nonsense.”
“it’s not a problem. and it wasn’t nonsense. it was a legitimate fear of yours and i’m glad you felt comfortable enough to share it with me.”
“believe it or not, i’m always comfortable with you, quinn.”
“that’s not what you were saying the first day we got here.” he chuckled.
“that version of me is the old y/n. i’ve matured since then.”
“maybe just a little.” he sat on the chair and tried to get comfortable again. “good night, y/n.”
“quinn, would you mind coming over here to share the bed?” y/n had her back to him so she couldn’t see his eyes widen at the question & he couldn’t see the way her face scrunched up when the words flew out of her mouth. she opened her mouth to take it back but quinn smiled.
“of course i wouldn’t mind sharing tonight.”
“yay.” she laid on her back and stared at the ceiling. her fingers drummed lightly on her stomach and quinn glanced over at her.
“how are you doing now?”
“better. thanks again. jacks usually the person i run to when i have a nightmare, even if he’s involved. but this one would’ve been harder to explain without telling him how i feel.”
“so, you do have feelings for him?” quinn raised an eyebrow and glanced over at her.
“of course i do!” y/n rubbed her face slowly. “i’d be an idiot not to. god, he’s perfect.”
something about the way she talked about jack, stirred something in quinn that he did not recognize.
“yeah. i suppose he is. everyone else thinks so. it was only a matter of time before you thought so too.”
“you sound a little bitter about it, quinny.” y/n glanced over at him, only to find him already looking at her.
“i’m not bitter, per say. but maybe just once, i would liked to be picked over jack or luke.”
“hey,” y/n turned on her side to get a better look at the oldest hughes. “the day is gonna come when you meet someone who prefers you over your brothers. and she’s going to love you so much that what’s happening now won’t even matter to you. because she’s going to be the only thing you think about. she’s going to consume your every thought and soon enough, you’ll have what you’ve always wanted. someone who picks you first every time.”
“you really think so?”
“yes of course. you’re pretty special, quinn.” y/n offered him a kind smile, which he returned. “i can’t believe i’m being nice right now.”
“yeah i know. it’s weird.” quinn shook his head and chuckled. “but thank you.”
“you’re welcome.” she smiled again and instead of returning to her position on her back, she stayed facing him. “thank you as well.”
“for what?”
“being here. you know, letting me talk to you about my nightmare. even if it was stupid.” she fiddled with her fingers and quinn reached out to stop it.
“it was not stupid. i told you like 20 minutes ago that it was alright.”
“oh. did you?” she glanced down at where quinn’s hands entrapped her own. “i’m sorry for repeating myself then. sometimes the anxiety is bad.”
“hey, you never have to apologize to me. okay?”
“okay.” she looked at him and smiled. suddenly, the atmosphere was different. almost like the both of them were aware of the tension in the room.
quinn opened his mouth to say something but y/n yawned.
“i’m tired, but i don’t want this rare moment to be over.”
“get some sleep. i’m not leaving. i’ll be here when you wake up, alright?” he cautiously reached up to move a piece of her hair out of her face.
“okay. good night quinn.” she closed her eyes and mere seconds later, her breathing evened out and light snores came from her. quinn let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding and fell asleep too.
the whole night, he never let go of her hands.
🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒
when y/n woke up the next morning and noticed the grip quinn had on her hands, she couldn’t help but smile.
sure she had feelings for jack but there was no denying how attractive quinn was, not only on the outside, but the inside as well.
y/n spent the next 5 minutes just admiring his face before he started to stir. she closed her eyes as if to pretend she hadn’t been looking at him, but quinn caught on.
part of him felt her eyes on him & he couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped his lips. when she opened her eyes again, quinn smiled.
“good morning.”
“good morning, quinn.”
“how did you sleep?”
“if i’m being honest, better last night than the entire week so far.”
“really?”
“yeah. it’s almost like there was a calming presence nearby that helped me sleep better.”
“yeah i know what you mean.” he chuckled and reluctantly let go of her hands. his own hands felt colder as he let her stretch her body out.
“do the boys have anything planned today?”
“i think the only thing we were gonna do was go to the casino later tonight.”
“oh that sounds fun.” she smiled and looked over at quinn. “and what time was that supposed to take place tonight?”
“not until after dark i believe.”
“good. because i really don’t want to get out of bed right now.”
“yeah. me either.” he closed his eyes and for the first time all week, he was happy to be this close to y/n.
the two of them enjoyed their five minutes of peace, happily enjoying the moment.
however, the moment was interrupted when jack knocked on the door. quinn hopped off the bed and answered it.
“good morning. glad to see you two haven’t killed each other yet.” he chuckled and looked behind quinn as y/n approached the door.
“might have to kill you for ruining my beauty sleep, asshole.”
“oh come on. you don’t need it anyway.” jack smiled, causing y/n to turn her head so he couldn’t notice the way her cheeks brightened.
quinn caught it though and he felt his heart drop. he had hoped their moment, however short it might’ve been, would’ve changed how she felt about jack.
but he was just a fool. she was too good for him. too good for jack too. but he would never admit it.
“anyway, you guys up for getting some breakfast?”
“i could eat.” y/n quickly turned her attention to quinn. “how about you, quinny?”
“food sounds delicious.” he painted on a smile as his younger brothers eyes never left y/n.
“perfect. get dressed and meet us down in the lobby in 30 minutes?”
“see you then.” y/n shut the door and headed over to her bag.
“so i noticed something just now.”
“and what could that be?” y/n walked into the bathroom with her clothes. she shut the door and turned on the shower.
“jack might be into you.”
the bathroom door flew open and y/n eyed quinn suspiciously. “you’re lying.”
“his attention never left you. he had him captivated from the moment you appeared behind me. it was like i wasn’t even there.”
“nonsense, quinn.” she walked over to him. “jack doesn’t like me.”
“say what you want, but i could tell.” he watched as y/n grabbed her hairbrush and returned to the bathroom.
after her shower, quinn got in and did what he had to do. when he walked out, y/n was attempting to put her necklace on.
her eyes met quinn’s through the mirror. she didn’t have to say anything to him. he walked up and clasped the necklace together behind her neck and smiled.
“thank you. i was about to lose my mind there.”
“now, don’t do that.” he chuckled and unplugged his phone. “let’s go.”
the two of them walked out to meet the boys in the lobby.
breakfast should be interesting.
🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒
although luke wasn’t old enough to actually gamble in the casino, they still allowed him to sit back and watch as everyone else lost money. he stuck with quinn while jack was with y/n.
quinn watched his brother and y/n exchange looks while they sat at the blackjack table. their laughs echoed in quinn’s ears and he turned his attention back to his youngest brother.
“quinn, can i ask you something?”
“sure, luke. what’s up?”
“you and y/n? has that happened yet or are you still hiding your feelings from her?”
“i have no idea what you’re talking about.” quinn sipped his drink and looked around.
“i’m young, not stupid.” luke rolled his eyes. “you’ve been getting increasingly worried about her all week and you can barely take your eyes off of her. you’re also holding your drink so tight that your knuckles are turning white. is everything okay?”
“yeah. just think she could do better than jack. she’s too good for him.”
“are you hoping she realizes she’s in love with you, and not jack? because i honestly don’t think she has the same feelings for jack that you think she does.”
“she told me last night how she felt about jack. i can tell when she’s lying and she was definitely telling the truth. she thinks he’s perfect.”
“but doesn’t everybody? you know it doesn’t necessarily mean she has feelings for him just because she shares the same opinion as everyone else in the world.” luke eyed his brother. “and i’m sure if you told her how you felt, you’d have a decent chance.”
“whatever, luke.” quinn waves his brother away and watched as he joined jack at the blackjack table.
y/n excused herself from the brothers and made her way to where quinn was sitting at another table.
“so, luke tells me you’ve been losing a bit of money over here.”
“don’t believe a thing he says.” quinn finished his drink and chuckled. “kid is a liar.”
“are you sure about that? because your chip pile is looking pretty low there, quinn.”
“it’s just a small hiccup in the road. i’ll figure it out.” he placed a chip on the the number 22, her favorite number, and waited.
“whatever you say. i’m gonna go try my luck at the slots or something.” y/n patted his shoulder and went to walk away but quinn stopped her.
“wait hold on.” he pointed to the table, more specifically at the roulette wheel where the ball had stopped on the 22 spot. “i want to test something. pick a number.”
“um, 19.” y/n watched as quinn placed half his chips on the number 19. “what are you doing? are you insane?”
“just trust me on this.” he held her wrist gently and together they watched the ball spin around the wheel and when it stopped, y/n’s eyes widened. the ball had landed in the 19 spot. quinn looked up at her. “want to try again?”
“let’s go with 6.” she slid some chips over and they waited. again, the ball landed where they needed it to and the chips multiplied.
“i’m starting to believe you’re a lucky charm.”
“i’m sure that’s all you, quinn.” she rested her hand on his shoulder gently. despite not believing she was a lucky charm, she stuck around quinn for the rest of the night. he kept winning with every number she picked, even if she picked the same number twice in a row. that was highly unlikely but it happened.
after roulette, they went around the place to every game and continued winning each time.
by the time jack and luke informed them they were heading to bed, quinn had nearly quadrupled what he started with. although they wanted to stay and be happy for their brother, sleep crept in on both of them. they said their good nights and went up to their room.
but the night was far from over for y/n and quinn.
🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒
y/n didn’t remember getting back to the room last night but when she woke up, she felt something on her finger and there was a sharp pain on her left shoulder. she looked at her hand and her eyes widened.
her gaze went down to a sleeping quinn and she looked at his finger too, just for good measure. he had a ring on his finger too.
“quinn, wake up!”
“what do you want?”
“look at your ring finger.” y/n sighed. quinn glanced at his right hand and rolled his eyes.
“there’s nothing there.”
“the other finger, idiot.”
quinn pulled his hand into his lines of sight and gasped. “do you-“
“yup. bright and shiny.”
“oh please tell me we didn’t get married last night.” he rubbed his eyes roughly, as if trying to clear the image from his mind. “how much did we drink last night?”
“i don’t remember.” y/n glanced down and noticed how little clothing she had on. “quinn, i have a question.”
“what now?”
“do you by any chance have any clothes on?”
“um,” he lifted the comforter and set it back down. “no i do not.”
“crap.” y/n quickly grabbed her clothes and threw them on. she was about to pull the shirt over her head when quinn stopped her.
“when did you get that?”
“get what?”
“the tattoo.”he pointed to her left shoulder. “it’s cute.”
“i don’t know.” she sighed again and looked at quinn. “you got one too. it’s a moon.”
“do you suppose we got so drunk last night that we got matching tattoos and then got married?”
“and then came back and...you know? yeah i think that’s exactly what happened. but who let us drink that much and why can’t we remember anything?”
“i don’t know. maybe luke and jack know more than we do.”
“highly unlikely, seeing as how they went to bed way before us.”
“good point.” quinn scratched his beard and looked at his hand. “i’m really sorry.”
“for what?”
“i feel like this is all my fault.”
“what do you mean?”
“i made you stay with me all night because my luck turned around when you joined me at the roulette table. if i hadn’t done that, we wouldn’t have tattoos and we wouldn’t be married.”
“while that may be true, think about it. would you rather be married to your brothers best friend or a complete stranger? because that could’ve happened too.”
“you. definitely you.” he chuckled and looked at her. she was already staring at him. “what?”
“you should see your back.” y/n shook her head. “what the fuck happened last night?”
🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒
quinn and y/n spent the rest of the afternoon avoiding the boys and trying to find out what occurred last night.
they went to the casino and decided to go to the dealer at the blackjack table, as it was the last place they remember being.
he informed them that after they were served a few drinks, quinn had the bright idea to go get some more. he apparently returned with a tray full of shots, unaware just how strong they were.
“you guys downed the shots no problem then left. sorry i couldn’t be more helpful.”
they walked away slowly and when they were outside the building, they looked down the street.
“which place do you think we got hitched?”
“i don’t know. there’s so many chapels here.” quinn sighed. he was clearly frustrated that he didn’t have the whole story. “it’s not like we can go around asking every chapel.”
“we could but that would be too time consuming.” y/n thought for a moment. “wait. i remember running into some korean elvis impersonator. we could ask about that. someone’s gotta know where he is.”
“worth a shot.” quinn shrugged and followed his wife down the street.
after hours of searching, they were about to give up hope.
“why are we trying to find out the story behind our wedding instead of getting it annulled?”
“that’s a good point.” quinn looked at her. “do you not like being married to me or something though?”
“quinn, we’re 24 years old and we got hitched. we’re not dating and it wasn’t planned. besides, when i told your mom i would marry one of her sons, i promised she could be there. she’d be crushed to know i did it without her. i also didn’t expect to marry you. always thought it would be jack.”
“we have one more day in vegas before we head our separate ways. why don’t we take the rest of tonight to let it sink in and if we feel an annulment is needed in the morning, we can do that.”
“i still can’t believe we got married.”
“don’t forget the tattoos.”
“or the consummation of our marriage.” y/n didn’t feel disgusted about hooking up with quinn. part of her felt like they were meant to end up together, no matter how much she liked jack.
y/n thought dinner that night would be a little difficult.
while they were getting ready, y/n’s ring got stuck. quinn tried to get it off but it wouldn’t budge. he had originally taken his off but when they determined y/n would have to keep hers on, he slid his back onto his finger. if the boys asked questions, they would give them answers.
luckily, neither of them noticed. well if they did, neither of them said anything about it.
back in the hotel room later that night, while y/n and quinn were getting ready for bed, there was a knock on the door. quinn got up to answer it while y/n peaked her head out of the bathroom.
“good evening, mr and mrs hughes. we have some complimentary champagne for the newlyweds.” the man in the hallway pushed a cart into the room and stared at them. “we also have this special dessert for you two and if you would like, we could upgrade you to the honeymoon suite. it’s much larger.”
“thank you, but-“ quinn started but he was quickly interrupted.
“thanks for the champagne and dessert. we will let you know about the room upgrade.” y/n ushered the man out and when she was sure he was gone, she let out a sigh of relief. “okay how many people knew we got married?”
“i have no idea. but why didn’t you tell him we aren’t married?”
“free dessert, duh. oh and champagne.” she picked up the bottle and grabbed two glasses before making her way to the bed. “do you want some?”
“yeah sure.”
the two of them sat cross-legged on the bed, facing each other as y/n poured them each a glass. she handed one to quinn and smiled.
“to....i don’t know what to toast about.”
“let’s toast to us.” quinn suggested. “after all, our marriage is the reason we got this in the first place.”
“okay great idea. to us.” y/n clinked her glass with quinn’s and downed the first glass quickly. “that was delicious.”
“i agree.” quinn poured the next two glasses and about 4 more after that. “being married is fun. why didn’t i think of this sooner?”
“maybe because we’re idiots and it’s not actually real.”
“but it could be, right?”
“you’re drunk. i think it’s time for bed, quinny.” y/n grabbed his empty glass and set them both on the nightstand before getting off the bed. quinn reaches out to grab her hand before she got too far.
“can we share the bed tonight?”
“i guess.” y/n looked at him and climbed under the covers with quinn.
“maybe one day, i’ll find someone like you. someone who’s too good for the world and way out of my league. hopefully she’ll love me because i feel like i deserve it, you know. maybe someday, i can find someone who loves me the way you love jack.”
“i do not love jack. it’s just a small thing. a crush at best.” y/n looked at quinn and sighed heavily. “but i understand what you mean. hopefully i’ll also find someone who loves me the way i deserve.”
“oh you for sure will.” quinn moves hair out of y/n’s face and let his fingers gently graze her cheek before bringing his hand back to rest under his head. “jack is an idiot, you know.”
“i’m sure you’re right, but why?”
“he just is.”
“come on, quinny. humor me.”
“jacks an idiot because he could’ve had you this entire time but instead, he fumbled his chance. and for what? a snooty blonde who’s only nice when she wants something? a bitch who thinks she’s better than everyone? a girl who thinks she’s the most beautiful person on the earth? no. he should’ve opened his eyes so he could see that the most beautiful human being was always right in front of him. and not just on the outside, but the inside too. you’re the only girl in jack’s life that cares not just about him, but his family and friends too. you put everyone else’s happiness before your own and every day that i know you, it just makes me love you. so much.”
“quinn, i don’t-“
“i know i’m a little drunk but i really wish this marriage was real.”
and before y/n could respond to the confession, quinn was fast asleep.
🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒❤️🏒
y/n couldn’t sleep. she tried and was almost there but somewhere around 1:30, quinn wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her into his chest, whispering that he’d protect her, into her ear.
6:30 rolled around and she slowly got out of bed. she went into the bathroom to get a glass of water and some advil for quinn before doing the same for herself.
she took a seat in the chair and looked at quinn as he slept.
was his confession last night only because he was drunk? or did he mean it?
when quinn started to stir, he opened his eyes and noticed the water. he let out a chuckle and smiled.
“she really is perfect.” he sat up and that’s when he noticed y/n in the chair. “oh. i didn't see you there. good morning.”
“good morning, quinn. how are you feeling?”
“i’m actually feeling great. um, how are you?” he took the advil and sipped his water.
"i'm good." she fiddled with her fingers in her lap. quinn noticed she was nervous about something so he got up and knelt down to her level.
"hey, what's wrong? you know you can talk to me."
"do you remember anything from last night?"
"i remember a lot of champagne. that's about it. why?"
"you kind of told me you loved me and that you wished the marriage was real. and right before i could say anything, you fell asleep."
"oh. so that wasn't a dream then?" he chuckled awkwardly.
"nope." she shook her head and avoided eye contact with quinn.
"well, in my defense, i was drunk. sometimes i just say things."
"yeah, right." y/n smiled and finally made eye contact with him. "glad we could get that cleared up."
"yeah me too." quinn smiled. "so i take it you want to go get this marriage thing erased, right?"
"yeah. totally." y/n didn't want the marriage to end and as she looked at quinn, she was more sure than ever that jack was the wrong brother. it's always been quinn.
"let's go then."
y/n and quinn went to walk out the door and they bumped into jack & luke on the way out.
"hey. you guys want to go get breakfast?" luke asked.
"sure. but then after that, we have to go our marriage annulled."
"marriage? when did that happen?"
"i knew you two would get together." luke smiled as he and jack followed their brother.
"it was a mistake. we were drunk and obviously it was stupid." y/n turned to look at the boys, as if trying to gauge a reaction from jack. he avoided her gaze as he walked. quinn did the same thing. "right quinn?"
"yeah, right." he nodded and continued to walk. y/n stayed back with luke and sighed.
"i'm an idiot, luke."
"i'm sure you're right, but why?"
"two days ago, i was so sure i liked jack. but ever since finding out i married quinn, it feels right. but i'm an idiot because he doesn't want to be married. that's why we're getting it erased.
"but i finally had a sister." luke pouted. "look, you and jack could've worked if he wasn't a bigger idiot than you are"
"hey!"
"sorry. but it's true. and then there's you & quinn."
"there is no me and quinn."
"yes there is. and this brings me back to the point of you being an idiot. how can neither of you see that you have feelings for each other and that neither of you want the marriage to end?"
"because we were drunk, luke. it was a-"
"you keep saying it was a mistake but it's not. you two were made for each other. why do you think i rigged the room sharing situation? i knew that if you guys had some moments alone, you could get something from the whole thing. and look at that. you got married. now if you had ended up sharing a room with me, you wouldn't be on your way to an annulment. what a story you have here."
"hold on. did you jsut say you rigged the room thing?"
"not important. what is important now is that you tell quinn how you feel."
"come on you guys. i'm starving." jack called from the other end of the hallway. y/n rolled her eyes and the 4 of them walked into the restaurant.
all throughout breakfast, y/n avoided the looks she was receiving from luke and quinn. instead she focused on the conversation with jack. she told him the details surrounding how she got married to quinn, what little information she had.
when the last bite was swallowed and the plates were taken away, y/n and quinn stood up.
"alright. this shouldn't take long. we'll meet you guys back here in about an hour. sound good?"
"yeah. hope it goes smoothly." jack and luke waved goodbye and the 4 of them went their separate ways.
🏒❤🏒❤🏒❤🏒
while y/n and quinn waited for their names to be called into the office, quinn looked around the room and y/n played with the string of her hoodie.
"what are you thinking about?" quinn asked when he noticed she was fidgeting.
"just life and all the decisions i've made to get me where i am today."
"lots of mistakes?"
"yeah. for sure." y/n sighed. "wanna know my biggest mistake?"
"was it this marriage?"
"what? no, of course not." y/n looked at him. "why? do you think it was a mistake?"
"getting off topic. what was your biggest mistake?"
"danny marcel."
"oh no. i forgot about him. he was terrible. always wanted to punch his face in whenever he was around. he always said the rudest things to you. how did you deal with it for so long?"
"you don't want to know." she shook her head, causing quinn to chuckle. "why did you want to punch him in the face?"
"he wasn't a nice person and maybe because i cared about you."
"you did?"
"of course i did. i mean, i still care about you. and i know i'm not the best at showing it but-"
"y/n & quinn?" the receptionist moved from behind the desk and guided them into another room. a kind looking older man sat at the desk. he offered them a smile when they entered.
"it's nice to meet you both & i hope i can get you what you came here for."
"we would appreciate that, sir. thank you."
"great. now before we go through with this, i want to make sure that this is something you'll both want. and seeing as how mr hughes has all the assets, i gotta know that you guys have already discussed that."
"we haven't yet, sir. but i don't want anything." y/n looked at quinn.
"excellent." he looked down at the papers in front of him and smiled. "so are you both sure this is what you want?"
"yes sir." they said at the same time wile sharing a look. the man slid a pen and the papers across his desk.
"great. now i'm just gonna need you to both sign this line here." he tapped the page with the pen and handed it to y/n. just as she was about to sign it, quinn put his hand over hers.
"wait." he removed his hand before looking at y/n. "i'm not sure i want this to be over."
"but i thought-"
"i thought so too. but after the champagne last night, and my stupid confession, i thought more about it."
"okay and?"
"and i've come to the conclusion that marrying you, whether i was drunk or sober, was the best decision i have ever made. you are the most perfect person i know and maybe i'm too late to admit this and maybe you want to get this annulled. and if that's what you really truly want, i will sign those papers to make you happy. but i couldn't let you sign without telling you how i felt." quinn sighed.
"so, mrs hughes. what do you want to do?" the man at the desk looked at her as she contemplated for a moment. she looked at quinn and smiled.
"i don't want to sign the papers." she turned to the man. "we are so sorry for wasting your time."
"not a problem. i'm just glad you two figured this out before you followed through with it. good luck on a long & happy marriage."
"thank you." quinn walked out of the office first. y/n followed slowly behind him but stopped.
"quinn, can i ask you something?"
"of course." he stopped and turned to face her.
"never mind. let's talk when we get back to our room." y/n kept walking and eventually made it back to the room. quinn waited patiently for y/n to say something. when she didn't say anything, he sat on the bed and watched her pace back and forth.
"y/n, whats up? what did you want to say to me earlier?" he sighed. "please say something. the silence is worrying me."
"last night when you told me you loved me, did you actually mean it?" she stopped abruptly and turned to face him. under his gaze, she suddenly felt nervous.
and of course, quinn being who he was, picked up on the sudden shift in behavior and was quick to walk to her. he held her hands with one of his own while the other reached under her chin. he tilted her head so she was looking right at him.
"yes i meant it. every last word that came out of my mouth last night was nothing but honesty. i may have been drunk but for the last 2 years, thinking of you became like a second nature. never have i second guessed how i felt about you. and i can assure you that it's never going to change. so if you don't feel the same way, that's okay. i just need to know."
y/n blinked quickly before throwing her arms around his neck and kissing him deeply. he stumbled back a little bit as their lips collided but he easily steadied them.
quinn's hands went from her chin to her waist, pulling her impossibly closer as the kiss grew more intense with each passing second.
"so, i take it you love me too?"
"of course, you idiot." y/n smiled and caressed his cheek. "you are so perfect in my eyes and i wish i would've noticed it sooner. but no. instead, i was so focused on jack. that was a stupid decision on my part."
"yes it was." quinn chuckled and held y/n closer. "you are so beautiful and you could have anyone you wanted. why do you love me?"
"are you seriously asking me that now?" y/n smiled. "you are the sweetest person i know. you have so much talent and you never give yourself the credit you deserve. you're funny, smart and so incredibly sexy, it blows my mind. you're perfect in every way to me and i couldn't picture myself loving anybody else."
"you think i'm sexy, huh?" quinn raised his eyebrow and smirked. y/n slapped his chest playfully and smiled.
"no. i think you're like, really ugly." y/n rolled her eyes. "you're lucky i love you."
"i love you too. and since we're married, you're stuck with me for life."
"i suppose so." y/n smiled and reached for her phone. "i gotta call your mom."
"why?"
"she needs to know we got married. and maybe she'll help us throw a party to celebrate. we can invite your family and have it be like a real wedding reception."
"you're right. if anyone deserves to know, it's definitely mom."
"so then it's settled?"
"i guess it is." quinn chuckled. "we can tell her when we get home tomorrow."
"sounds like a plan." y/n set her phone down and looked at quinn. "how has nobody seen the perfection in you before? don't get me wrong. i'm glad they didn't because we wouldn't be here if they had. but, how?"
"i don't know. but i was wondering the same thing about you just now. i mean, you dated some losers but i thought at least one of them would've realized how amazing you are."
"they were all blind and stupid, quinn. even your ex-girlfriends. of course they couldn't see how perfect we are."
"you got that right." quinn placed a gently kiss to the tip of her nose and smiled. "so, how does it feel to be mrs hughes?"
"it feels amazing. always dreamed of marrying into the family one day. just always pictured it being jack."
"i know. but aren't you glad you got the better hughes brother?"
"but i didn't marry luke." y/n replied, causing quinn to gasp. she smirked and began to giggle as quinn kissed all over her face. "quinn, you're crazy."
"crazy for you."
"and cheesy. can't forget cheesy." she playfully rolled her eyes as the two of them collapsed on the bed. "you are the better brother. and for so many reasons. i love you, quinn."
"i love you too, y/n." he kissed her and it felt like time had stopped. for them, it felt as if they were the only 2 left in the world. but neither of them could complain.
they were in love and so thankful they were finally able to admit it.

Man of the House PT 2

Word Count: ~2,200
Follow up to Getting old loving you
The heating pad had helped. So had your hands, and your kisses, and the way you’d sweet-talked him back into bed like he was something fragile and precious—which, let’s be honest, he kind of was this morning.
But the moment Hayden heard the distant crow of a rooster from the barnyard, he was already shifting under the covers.
“I should go feed the animals,” he mumbled, rubbing his hand over his face like it would erase the lingering ache in his back.
You, now cozy in bed with a mug of tea and your phone in hand, peeked at him over the rim. “Babe. You couldn’t even bend over five hours ago.”
He tossed the covers back like a man on a mission. “Exactly. That was five hours ago. I’ve had a full recovery.”
You gave him a look. “You’re literally moving like a retired cowboy.”
“I am a cowboy,” he muttered, standing up and stretching in slow, careful movements. “This ranch isn’t gonna run itself.”
You blinked. “It’s not a ranch, Hayden. It’s a hobby farm. We have four chickens, two goats, two pigs and a rescue donkey named Harold.”
Hayden turned toward you, arms crossed—trying his best to look stern despite the wince he made mid-cross. “Doesn’t matter what we call it. The animals count on me.”
You raised a brow. “They also count on you not collapsing in the middle of the pasture because you threw your back out tossing hay bales like you’re still Anakin Skywalker.”
That earned a smirk. “You think about Anakin a lot, huh?”
You gave him a pointed stare. “Don’t deflect, farm boy.”
But it was too late—he was already pulling on his flannel and those worn-in jeans you loved (though they weren’t quite as easy to get into when his back was stiff). You watched him struggle to pull on his boots without bending too far, biting back a laugh until he caught you in the act.
“Oh, you think this is funny?” he grunted, one boot halfway on. “This is the price of being the man of the house.”
You rolled your eyes, setting your tea down and getting out of bed. “Okay, John Wayne, how about I come with you? We can split up the chores. You bark orders, I do all the actual labor, and your masculinity remains intact.”
“Tempting,” he said with a crooked grin, “but I can handle it.”
“Hayden.”
“Sweetheart.”
You stared at each other in a classic standoff, but you knew your man—he was stubborn, sweet, and far too proud to let you take care of everything, even when he clearly needed it.
So you switched tactics.
“Alright,” you said brightly, grabbing your hoodie. “Then I’m coming too.”
He narrowed his eyes. “You don’t have to—”
“I want to.” You looped your arm around his as you walked out the door together. “Think of it as a hot date, just with goats instead of candlelight.”
By the time you got to the barn, the sun had fully risen, casting a golden haze over the pasture. The chickens were already squawking for food, and Harold the donkey let out a loud, judgmental hee-haw that seemed specifically aimed at Hayden.
“Don’t start, Harold,” Hayden muttered. “I already get enough attitude inside.”
You gasped dramatically. “Excuse you?”
He gave you a cheeky grin and kissed your temple. “Kidding. Mostly.”
Despite the stiffness in his movements, he carried the feed buckets without complaint. You stayed close—ready to jump in if he overdid it—and he acted like he didn’t notice, but you saw the corners of his mouth twitch when you gently swatted his hand away from the heavier stuff.
“Let me get the hay,” you said, tossing a flake toward the goats. “You just focus on staying upright.”
“I can still throw hay,” he insisted.
“I know, baby,” you said with a smile. “But I like throwing hay. It makes me feel rugged.”
He chuckled at that, leaning against the fence as he watched you work. His face was flushed, not just from the effort, but from something soft and adoring.
“You’re dangerous, you know that?” he murmured. “Beautiful, smart, and you know how to wield a pitchfork.”
You tossed another flake of hay and shot him a smirk. “It’s part of my charm.”
The rest of the morning passed in a kind of peaceful rhythm—the animals fed, water buckets filled, and Harold finally satisfied after Hayden gave him his favorite apple slices. When everything was done, the two of you sat on the fence rail, the breeze brushing through your hair and birds chirping overhead.
Hayden reached over, took your hand in his rough, warm grip.
“You always take such good care of me,” he said quietly. “Even when I’m being a stubborn ass.”
You leaned your head on his shoulder. “That’s because you’d do the same for me. You already do, every day. But, babe… you don’t have to prove anything. Not to me. You don’t have to throw out your back to be the man of the house.”
He let out a long breath, eyes fixed on the golden fields. “Sometimes I forget that. I guess I just… I want to be strong for you.”
You turned his face toward you gently, brushing your fingers along his jaw. “You are strong. Even when you’re sore. Even when you’re moving like you need a walker. You’re strong because you love me so fiercely. Because you wake up and show up and choose me every single day. That’s what makes you the man of the house.”
His eyes softened deep, ocean-blue, full of warmth and devotion.
“Come here,” he whispered, pulling you into his lap despite the slight wince. You giggled but didn’t fight him, wrapping your arms around his neck as he held you close.
“You’re not allowed to be in pain and romantic at the same time,” you whispered. “It’s cheating.”
He kissed your cheek, then your jaw, then the spot just below your ear that always made you melt.
“Gotta keep you on your toes,” he murmured.
You nuzzled into him, breathing in the scent of hay, fresh air, and Hayden.
And even though he was sore, and the chores were done, and he’d definitely need another heating pad later… he still held you like this—like being your husband was the greatest honor of his life.
Because it was.
