A bear wouldn’t have told me he wanted to see me strapped down nude on a plain dirty mattress, so he could kiss my body all over and use it to his advantage when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade

I’ll never be able to give proof of it either because I was sitting at the lunch table eating my lunch. Everybody loves that kid. I can’t confront him because he moved away in grade 6. I didn’t know it was literally harassment/assault until grade 8. It still unsettles me.

So, my previous reblog from what @vislokawitch shared with me brought up some memories...

Near where I live there is a huge open farm land simply called the moors. It is a wild place where sheep graze unbothered and Heather grows in abundance. There is often not many trees, treacherous bogs and mushrooms to pick.

It is also home to hares.

One summer day, me and my family had a picnic up on the moors. No one around for miles. I spotted a hare and it just sat there, watching us and ran away eventually.

As we were leaving, we noticed more hares. And then more hares.

And then more hares.

It ended up with my dad grabbing my younger brother who was five at the time, my mum grabbing the plastic bag, because despite being surrounded by fifty or so hares, you don't leave any rubbish and me screaming my 7 year old head off and diving back into the car and then driving very slowly so my mum didn't see one get hit.

This made it ao much worse because it gave a chance for fifty or so hares to sit or stand and stare at us as we slowly drove away. One followed us for about a mile, clocking our speed of 60mph

I had nightmares that hare was coming to kill us.

So I reblogged that “vaccines cause adults” post from @copperbadge and predictably my inbox has gone to shit with a handful of people asking me how I can “trust” vaccines and if you’re looking for me validate your fear mongering over vaccines causing autism, I’m afraid you’re in the wrong place.

I’m the bitch that has anaphylactic reactions to vaccines due to my mast cell disorder and still turn up for my Covid booster shots with my epi pen in one hand and a fistful of Benadryl in the other.

I had reactions to all my MMR boosters and every other booster I’ve ever needed and I still show up because I look at the choices and I prefer the risk of potential immediate death over potentially getting shit like measles and spreading it to the wider community.

The only one I don’t get is the flu shot because the speed at which I react is terrifying and it’s in my file that I’m not allowed it anymore. Doctors made that decision for me, I didn’t.

My MCAS might make me a crunchy hippy dippy bitch against my will, but I’m a science based crunchy hippy dippy bitch and vaccines do not cause autism.

Measles will fucking kill your kid though.
