Marked : The Rite (VII.)
A Masterlist for The Rite is HERE A link to my regular Masterlist is HERE Summary: (7) Shaken from Loki's exit, you seek counsel from the wisest person you know. As does Loki. And twin moons aren't the only thing coming together. Warnings: 18+ Minors DNI. Smut. Mild angst. Asgardians behaving badly. More smut. (w.c 5.2k)
Loki didn’t know whose hands were touching him, whose breath was on his neck, whose empty congratulations were ringing in his ears.
He was halfway down the aisle before he realised you weren’t with him. Loki turned, trying to stop the tide of bodies sweeping him away.
Did I leave her?!
The moments after the announcement were a blur. He'd meant to take your hand, to pull you up with him...but —
I didn't. I left her.
The riotous blob burst into a small feasting hall near the Rite chamber with long tables laid with glazed hams and towers of pastries. Thor slapped Loki’s back hard enough to leave a mark.
"Is she getting changed? Is she coming?" Loki glanced over his shoulder, drawing the sash tight around his hips. It didn’t make much difference, being that the robe was translucent, but he needed something for his hands to do. “Don’t be absurd, brother.” A tankard was shoved into his hand. “Sif came to the festivities after your Rite—”
“Yes but Sif was a warrior, and a member of the inner circle." Thor’s face scrunched. ‘Your one is…” Loki’s face hardened. “Is what?”
Thor’s laugh made the ale ripple. “Come, Loki, be serious. She’s not one of us. You have what you wanted, your place in Asgard’s Royal line. You can stop playing the cunt-struck lovelorn, now.” Loki stiffened, setting the tankard down purposefully on the table. "She loves me."
"Yes, and?" Thor shrugged, a grin spreading across his face. "She isn’t the first, she won’t be the last. Who cares about her? Enjoy the—”
Loki smacked the tankard from Thor’s grip. It flew across the hall at force, hitting Fandral between the shoulder blades. He spun. “—I care...brother,” Loki hissed, so close to Thor’s face he could smell the pepper-roasted ham he’d been guzzling between idiocies.
“All my life I’ve been surrounded by people like you, thinking I was the one who should linger in shadow; the one who didn’t fit; who didn’t deserve the life he had.” His molars pressed together, growing more incensed with each of Thor’s vacant, casual chews. “But it was the rest of you that needed to change. She sees me for who I am, and she loves me.”
Thor rolled his eyes. “Did that witch Lagertha slip her some magic potion to smear on her lady-bits? Brother, you’re acting most unlike yourself.” Loki’s hand flew to Thor’s throat, lifting him off the floor.
The blonde’s face turned red instantly, struggling against his grip. No one tried to intervene, they knew better than that. With a growl, Loki lowered him, but he didn’t release the grip on Thor’s windpipe.
“Perhaps I’ve been concealing the true fury I hold inside me, brother,” Loki hissed in his ear, enjoying the desperate swallow as he struggled for air. “Boys, boys,” Fandral smarmed, edging them apart. “Your brother’s right, Lo—ki,” Fandral said, sliding an arm around his shoulder and grasping against the chiffon clinging to his muscle. “Enjoy yourself, hmm? Forget that pretty nothing. Tonight, perhaps you’ll indulge in something more…on your level.” He winked, curling a loose strand of Loki’s top knot around a fingertip. “I told her not to get attached. It’s not your fault if she did, she was warned.” Realisation hit Loki like a chariot.
“What did you say to her?” he growled, noting the sudden fear in Fandral’s eyes. The man stumbled back, tripping over a pair of ridiculous satin shoes. Before he could hit the floor Loki’s arm shot out, grabbing the cravat bunched at Fandral’s neck and pulling him up. Fandral slammed against Loki’s chest, nails ripping down the fabric of his robe and tearing into chest muscle. “I’m sorry, I’m sorr—” “What…did you say to her?” An arctic silence had fallen over the feasting hall. Pain clawed beneath Loki’s skin, but he ignored it. Blood was already starting to clot between the minuscule weave. “That you were trying to make her fall in love with you, which, wh-which you did—”
“—And?” Loki shook him, making Fandral’s coiffured golden curl wobble loose. “—A-and that you’d discard her,” he choked, eyes darting manically to the ceiling. “Which…you did.”
Loki punched in the face: right on top of the fastenings covering his re-set nose from last night. Fandral whimpered as Loki punched him again, only stopping because of the tidal wave of arms pulling him off. He thrashed, throwing his fists and swiftly receiving one himself. Loki’s face wrenched to the side, the knot atop his head falling and the golden snake clip bouncing to the stone below. “Brother, stop…” Thor shook his fist, knuckles blossoming scarlet. Loki’s stare fell on Fandral, being hoisted between two guards out the room. He pressed his cheek, wincing. “I avoided your nose, at least,” Thor said. “But it will bruise, for certain.” “Fuck you, brother,” Loki spat.
He didn’t indulge the hands that grasped at him, half-drunk, petitioning him to stay at his own celebrations. He could still taste your delicate arousal on his tongue, and hear the unspoken words hanging in the air between the two of you.
I love you, your eyes had said, even before the enchanted robe confirmed it. He wondered if his had, too. What must she think of me?
The guards opened the golden door separating the inner palace from the outer court. Their eyes fell down his body, but they said nothing. Under normal circumstances, Loki could materialise a more modest outfit with a wave of his hand, but his emotions were too high; his magic was too unstable. So, for now, any members of the court milling around would have a scene to tell their grandchildren about: Loki of Asgard, resplendent in his Rite robe, cock hanging free – on the way to salvage the love he thought he’d never find — if she'd still have him. Quick footsteps pattered behind him and Loki whipped around, fire flashing in his eyes. Håkon stood masked in shadow, a low hood covering his face. “What are you doing here?” Loki said, not bothering to hide the exasperation in his voice. Håkon shrugged. “I thought you might need me. When you messed up, you know?” Loki folded his arms, suddenly aware the boy was seeing him practically naked, but Håkon’s eyes were set firmly on his own, even when a pair of leather pants materialised around Loki's lower limbs. “What do you mean when I messed up?” Loki scoffed, feeling his ears burn. “Why—?”
Håkon sighed. “—Do you know where her rooms are?” A swallow worked down Loki’s throat, common sense spreading now that his heart had slowed. “No.” Håkon smirked in a way that Loki felt entirely responsible for. “Exactly. Come on, let me help you for once.” Loki’s heart wrenched a little at the sentiment, quickly diluted by the whisper of ‘idiot,’ as Håkon passed him. And then it was his turn to smirk.
The boy led him through a maze of corridors Loki had never seen before, up three flights of stairs and to the furthest wing of the court. Your door was open, but to his dismay, Loki quickly realised you weren’t there. Clothes lay strewn across the floor, emptied from a dresser.
“Where is she?” Loki growled to no one, and Håkon shrugged lightly. “Depends what you did, master,” he said, glancing out the door and down the corridor. “But she’s gone, alright.”
No one had tried to stop you. And really, that said it all.
You’d made straight for the baths and shrugged off the ceremonial robe, pulling on your old day dress as quickly as possible. You’d run to your chambers with bare feet slapping against stone, slamming the door behind you with wild eyes and wilder thoughts.
I have to get out of here. You couldn’t stay here where you were a figure of ridicule; where everyone knew you loved Loki enough to satisfy some ancient magic and his first thought had been an ale, and the approval he so desperately wanted. A place of honour, yeah right. Anger curdled in your gut. He hadn’t even said thank you. Bastard.
You bit back tears as a bag was stuffed with all the necessities you could think of. It would take a few days to arrange travel somewhere far away from here, maybe back to your family. But until then, you couldn’t sit here waiting for whatever pity knock came at the door. And there was only one place that came to mind. “Oh,” Lagertha said, peeping through the gap in the bronze door of the Weaving Tower. Moonlight smoothed the deep wrinkles of her face, and the bobble of a sleeping cap hung by the sheet of fabric draped down her chest. She peered to either side, groggy eyes blinking back to your face. “Got Loki exhausted and begging for mercy already? You better be here to spill all the details - I’m a little old for girl talk but I’ll do my best.” She smiled as she said it, but it was wary.
When you didn’t reply she added, ‘…What’s he done?” And then, you started to cry.
Lagertha ushered you inside, bringing you to a small door at the back of the ground floor. Through the haze of tears, you couldn’t even appreciate that the door that had appeared from nowhere on the smooth circular wall, opening into a homely set of rooms. She plonked you at a small table and set about making tea while you heaved out the important details: ceremony, amazing, loved him, left.
Lagertha sighed. She drooped into the chair opposite and pushed a steaming cup of something herbal in your direction. You blew a wet snort into the sleeve of your dress. “Blessed Norns, dear. We may not be royals, but we’re not animals.” She fished in a pocket of her nightdress. “Here,” she said, offering a suspiciously crinkled handkerchief. You took it, blew into it, and she sighed again. “I’m sure he meant well, love.” “He left me!” you gasped, high and squeaky. Your eyes itched from tears and Lagertha grimaced. “He didn’t say a word, let himself be dragged off by the people he claims to despise all telling him how fucking great he was…Fandral was right. I’m nothing to him.” You folded your head in your hands, staring at the table. “I never liked that Fandral,” Lagertha said after a pause. Her chair creaked. “Never trust a man with more shoes than sense, that’s what my mother always said.” A small laugh erupted in your throat. And soon afterwards, the stone weighing in your stomach was dust. Temporarily, at least. When the teapot was empty, she showed you to a small bedroom beside her own holding a long single bed, and not much else. A nightdress was folded on it, woven by Lagertha. The threads shimmered in moonlight. “I can’t magic you up a four-poster bed, I’m afraid,” she said with a sad smile. “But I can guarantee you’ve never slept on finer sheets.” You shook your head. “No, it’s perfect…thank you, Lagertha.” And as you curled your knees to your chest, staring at the wall, you tried not to think about Loki’s eyes as he kissed the inside of your knee; of his warm breath in your ear as the syllables of your name lingered on his tongue, and the hope you'd felt. That was the worst of it. You were trying so hard not to think about it, you almost didn’t hear a knock at the front door.
“What do you want?” Lagertha hissed. You stood with an ear pressed tightly to the wood separating the front door of Lagertha’s quarters to the main entrance of the Tower. A low voice rumbled in response. “I don’t know what to tell you,” Lagertha said. “She doesn’t want to see you.”
“…Safe?” the voice mumbled. It sounded sad. Is it…? You pulled the door open.
Loki stood in the entrance, that broad shouldered silhouette unmistakeable. Shards of liquid moonlight dashed across the wild hair spread over his shoulders. He still wore the ceremonial robe, but the intricate folds were tangled and now he was wearing a pair of those — fucking —leather trousers that clung to every insane muscle. And then, breath caught in your throat. A bruise the colour of stormclouds was spreading under Loki’s eye socket, and a deep scratch ran from his heart down to the oblique on his left side.
He gasped your name, lunging forwards – but Lagertha stopped him with a delicate press to his chest. He looked at her, and then at you. “I need to speak to you,” he pleaded. “I can explain, it’s not what you—" You raised a hand. Part of you wanted to run into his arms and tell him to shut up and kiss him into oblivion. But another part, the sensible part, knew that nothing had changed. Not really. Lagertha looked between the two of you.
“Why don’t the two of you have a little chat, hmm?” You said nothing, staring at Loki. He was breathing heavily. Did he run all the way from the palace? How did he know I was gone? Butterflies erupted in your stomach as you noted the twitch of his fingers by his sides, the frantic dart of his eyes over your face, his lips itching to say the words jostling behind them.
Lagertha rose her eyebrows at you, and you nodded in confirmation. She made a fist at the thin material on Loki’s chest and pulled him inside. The bronze door slammed. The god smoothed his hair back, his abdomen twitching. “Upstairs is about as private as it gets,” Lagertha said breezily, shuffling across the floor. Her bare feet whispered across polished marble. “Just…try not to throw him out the window, will you?” she asked as she passed, patting your shoulder. “The kids need those hams from the palace.”
You lowered your gaze as her wizened hand lingered and then slid into the darkness beyond with the rest of her. And the next thing you felt was the gentle touch of a finger trailing up your jawline. “Little Ow—" “—Don’t.” The finger flinched. Your vision started to blur. “I’m so embarrassed, Loki,” you whispered, hoping he couldn’t hear the waver in your voice. His brows peaked.
“Come upstairs,” he said, letting the fingers graze down your arm and tentatively cupping your hand. Loki led you up the staircase, his perfect ass shifting in those ridiculous leather pants. You bit your lip, trying to douse the hope building in your gut. That hope always got you in trouble. The measuring room looked different by moonlight. A wide bar of white spilt through the solitary window. Outside, Asgard's twin moons were almost in perfect alignment. Once every 500 years, you thought lazily. The chaise in the corner was still in the same place you’d first seen the god draped over it, the first place you’d seen the hint in his eyes there could be something more.
He dropped your hand, pacing to the centre of the room, and spread his arms, turning in a solemn circle. Loki looked up beneath his lashes, the bruise shadowing one half of his face, and moonlight dashing the other. “I am, who I am,” he said with a tinge of bitterness. Loki’s tongue nipped over his lips, trepidation flashing on his features. “To everyone…I am the prince of pleasure. I am usually drunk, mostly rude, or having sex…or all three.” You rolled your eyes, arms folding over the thin nightdress. “But then…I met you,” he finished. He crossed the room, a hand sliding around your waist. “Years in the palace shovelled dirt on the person who I am, who I want to be. I felt like I was…mad. But with you, I feel whole. I can be…free.”
His lips brushed yours, hovering. “When they said The Rite had been successful…I was blinded by everything I always thought I wanted. Everything I’d been conditioned to want by that awful place, just for a moment," he said, voice catching against the short puffs of your breath into his mouth.
“But what I truly want…is you. And you owe me nothing, I know that. But I need you to know that I —” You threw your arms around his neck, pulling him to your lips, tongue demanding entry as he stumbled back and clasped his hands at your back.
“I love you, Loki,” you gasped through messy kisses. "You fucking fool, I do...I just thought, I thought..."
He pulled away. The dark, tangled halo of his hair framed the angles of his face. Loki’s eyes were black in the gloom, a small sliver of blue ringing blown pupils. He cupped your jaw, and brushing a thumb over your parted lips. “I love you in ways I thought weren’t possible, I love—”
Your body moulded to him like a magnet, tongue exploring his it was the first time. His hands cupped the base of your skull as one of yours worked down his chest, down his waist. Loki hissed, jolting back. “I’m sorry,” you said, glancing at the ragged scratch. “What happened?” “Fandral,” he muttered, but before you could ask his mouth was on yours again. You squeezed his cock through the tight leather as Loki unwound his hands from your hair and shrugged the ceremonial robe from his shoulders. “Can we…you know... now?” you breathed against his chest as your eager fingers pulled at his laces. Loki’s chest shook with silent laughter but all he said was, “Yes. If you want to.” You looked up, scandalised. “If I want to? Are you mad?” Loki’s hands stilled around yours. The tip of his cock was hard against your fingers, and all you wanted to do was dig down the narrow gap of the fabric and squeeze; feel him tremble under the weight of how much you wanted every part of him. “If you don’t want me anymore, if The Rite was too much and now you have doubts…you’re under no obligation to—”
“—Fuck you?” A smirk curled at one side of Loki’s mouth. “Well, yes.”
“You’re every bit the arsehole they say you are,” you said, poking the centre of his chest, “you’re vain, and brash, and arrogant…” Loki’s smile grew, sinking slowly to his knees. “Keep talking, darling. Ruin me.” His thumbs and forefingers curled above your knees, working upwards and raising the hem of your nightdress with it. “Proud, and mouthy…but…you’re also kind, and generous and, oh-gods,” Loki’s mouth fastening to your clit, suckling gently. Your fingers raked through his hair, pulling his face tighter to the heat between your legs. In the pearl-slick gloom, there was only you and him; Lagertha's fabrics glistening like exotic bird wings in the half light. Your legs trembled and Loki’s hands flew to your ass, balancing as you staggered through orgasm with a rush of his name.
Sinking to the floor under his guidance, your lips met; whispers of ‘I love you,’ cracked the stillness while Loki waved his hand, and soft fur rugs unfurled from nothing on the floor.
You pressed against his chest, nudging him onto his back. Light kisses were peppered on his bruised under eye, down the line of his nose, across his parted lips. You travelled down his neck, tongue nipping over the thick vein straining and dipping into the hollow of Loki’s collarbone. “Please,” he gasped quietly, nails scraping lovingly down the ridges of your spine, “I need you, I’m begging you, darling.”
“A Prince? Begging?” Tutting softly, you straddled his hips, scooting down the god’s long legs and pulling the leather trousers as you went. Loki laughed as you threw them to the side and kissed up his perfect femurs, and then up the trail of the scratch on his stomach. His cock nestled between the swell of your breasts, pre-cum leaking into the fabric of the nightdress. “No…” Loki whined with feigned frustration. Or maybe not feigned, you thought with a thrill. His cock was incredibly hard, flat to his stomach, the tip dripping fat beads of arousal to the skin below. He arched his back, his eyes flashing with a primordial need. Your grip tightening around the girth, and Loki released a guttural choke. With a deft swoop, you captured the crown of his cock in your mouth. Loki was silent for a moment, and then, he moaned.
It was the most beautiful sound you’d ever heard. His skin was velvet against your tongue; every ridge pulsing in time with each suck. Loki’s words were unintelligible. Murmurs of praise in an ancient tongue, the glimpse of his fingers tightening around the furs out of the corner of your eye, his hips quivering with the effort of not emptying down your throat. Your fingers tightened around the base, tongue flicking the sensitive underneath of his shaft. Loki squirmed, and you looked up – mouth full of his cock. His brows peaked in desperation, his jaw slack and strands of hair stuck to his forehead. “I need to be inside you,” he panted, biting back a groan, “please…fuck me. Please—" Before he could finish the sentence, you’d crawled up his chest, kissing him like a Valkyrie. Loki Odinson was putty in your hands, thrusting against your bare thighs like a needy youth desperate to feel a cunt wrapped around his prick for the first time. And it was fucking hot.
A deep groan rumbled in Loki’s chest, and it was only at the last second you realised it was a growl.
He flipped you to your back, caging your wrists above your head, and spread your knees wider with one of his own, settling in the middle. Loose hair hung around his jawline. Above you was the devastating god of legend: the one that could ruin a city and a woman with one smoulder. And he was yours. “I love you,” he said again, nudging his cock at your slippery entrance. You arched up, capturing his lips. “Please, Loki,” you whispered. Loki’s cock breached and the two of you stilled. He panted slowly; his eyes fixed on yours as he eased himself inside.
The god’s forehead rested against yours as he circled his hips; a fullness rising like the tide filling a narrow cave. Of all things you expected Loki to be – gentle wasn’t one of them. And now, you weren't sure why. You clenched on every drag of his cock from your cunt, relishing the pained pleasure in his eyes before he sank inside again.
Each wickedly slow wave of his hips caught the deepest secrets of your desires; his breaths timed with yours, and only your name on his tongue. And then, his lips lowered to your ear, sucking the lobe between his teeth as he came with a thunderous gasp of devotion. "I'm yours," he breathed. "Utterly."
Your legs tightened around his hips, capturing him deep, locking tight enough you’d swear you’d never let go.
Loki's face buried in your neck, his heartbeat thumping against your chest. “I feel cheated,” you whispered against his cheek.
He frowned, pulling back. His cock twitched inside your snug cunt. Norns, it was even more perfect than he dreamed it would be, but — “Excuse me?” he said, followed by a confused snort unbecoming of royalty. He cringed as your lips rippled with a stifled smile. “I’ve heard all these tales of Prince Loki and his sexual theatrics…drama, you know?” You shrugged, and Loki tried to ignore the gnawing desire rear in his lower stomach at how innocently fucked-out you looked. “Is my lover…unsatisfied?” “No?” You bit your lip, and Loki’s manhood eased from your silken channel with a licentious slurp. His eyes narrowed as you continued with, “That was…incredible, I just…you’re different to how I thought you’d be. Gentler, more…romantic.” Loki knelt back, heels digging against his ass. He ran his hands through sweat-damp hair, pausing with the fingers locked behind his head. “You should be honoured,” he sniffed imperiously. “I don’t think I’ve made love like that in…” He realised he’d been staring at the window and tilted his head to meet your eyes, “Ever.” Your beam of pride made his heart explode into a thousand, shining pieces. He towered over your moon-drunk body, memorising the lines that appeared in your face when you were truly happy. Joy. Acceptance. Love. So, this was what it felt like. One finger traced over Loki’s lips, down his chin; fell to his chest and continued its descent between his ribs. “Are you asking to experience both sides of me, tonight?” he asked: slow, gravelled.
You bit your lip again, but the smile couldn’t be contained. Loki lowered, making a show of placing his palms above each of your shoulders.
“Are you asking for Loki of Asgard to fuck you like a god?” he growled, relishing the frantic nod of your head. “To take you as his mistress, and mark you as his own?” He shot you a wolfish grin. No words passed your lips – at least, none known to gods or men. Your hips thrust up to meet the dangle of his riotously hard cock with a clouded, desperate mischief in your eyes.
“Mmm,” Loki hummed, sliding a flat palm between your breasts and massaging the base of your neck. In one graceful movement Loki’s hand dropped to your waist, the other scooping beneath your hips and sliding your body up his thighs. He gave your arse a tight smack, grabbing a handful of hot flesh with an approving rumble. He held you still above the tip of his cock, mustering his best look of regal indifference. “What do you want?” he goaded. The fingernails digging into his shoulder muscle would leave marks, but Loki didn’t care. “Fuck me again, Loki…please, hard” you gasped, raking through his hair. He knew it would be hanging in perfect dishevelment around his jaw, trailing the hollow of your neck, strands marking his moonlit skin like ink.
Loki lowered you an inch, letting the tight ring of your cunt swallow the tip of his cock. His whole body shuddered, fingertips sinking into the soft flesh of your waist. “F—fuck, darling,” he stuttered. He hoped he’d never become accustomed to that silken fire.
You yelped as Loki powered upward.
His thighs smarted, and your legs tightened around his waist. The god took several steps forward, pressing you tightly against the turret wall.
Asgard’s twin moons shone through the window, coating the city rooftops like white sapphire. They're almost joined, he noticed. The court would be out in force for the event: fires blazing, chants ringing. His absence would be noted. But all Loki could feel was the beat of your heart against his, and your whispers of forever in every breath.
The moan that ripped from your throat as he buried himself was heaven, and Loki intended to wring pitches of pleasure from that pretty throat that you’d never thought possible. He ripped the neckline of your nightdress, devouring the supple skin that taunted him — palming your perfect breasts, and his enthusiasm as harsh from his throat as it was from his cock. You arched into his body, offering your neck like a willing rabbit to a panther. Or was he the rabbit? Hel's fire: It had never been like this.
He wanted to consume you, or rather, let you consume him. An endless cycle of lust, and love, and eternity. He wasn’t afraid anymore. Whatever he’d found in you, he’d found himself. Every inch of himself was alight with the grip of your cunt as he bottomed out again and again. A hand flew above your head, gripping a chunk of uneven stone. “Make me yours, Loki Odison,” you breathed as your climax ebbed, clenching tightly around the root of his cock. He dragged it out with a gritted growl. Webs of cum squelched as he eased in, and out; your ambrosial mess coating the wet, slow clap of skin. “You give yourself freely,” he panted, and your fingers wrapped deeper in his hair, tugging sharply. He hissed, delivering a punishing thrust that made the wall behind you tremble. “I take nothing which isn’t offered freely; I take nothing which isn’t already mine.” At that, your crossed ankles pressed deeper into the base of his spine. Loki thought he might explode. “Mark me with your power, Loki,” you said, nudging his lips to yours. “Uhhh, g-gods…don’t…” A sob caught in his throat as he felt orgasm swell. He bit into your shoulder, sucking hard enough to bruise. Your gasp of pleasure was the final tie. It snapped. Loki’s hand flew to your ass, pulling you a final devastating time down the rippling veins of his length. His heavy breaths thrummed with climax, your hands fastened to the sides of his face – forcing his eyes to yours.
“Mark me,” you slurred, resting your head against the wall: watching him come undone inside your sweet cunt with a lazy smile. Loki’s vision blurred, blood thundering in his ears. He screwed his eyes shut, face tipped to the ceiling and a strangled moan choking from his throat as he emptied molten seed deep inside you for a second, glorious time.
Your lips fastened to the hard vein throbbing in his neck, kissing up until they met the angle of his jaw. "Which side of me do you prefer, then?" he asked, noting the wild thump of his heart. He felt your smile against his cheek.
"I love all of you, Loki." You kissed the tip of his cheekbone. "Every side," you whispered, "and each piece between. You never have to pretend with me. And I promise, I won't pretend with you."
Loki's vision blurred, a thick swallow working down his throat. And for the first time, he knew without a doubt exactly what he wanted; what he needed.
“Marry me,” he murmured, and your grip on his hair faltered. “What?” You looked at him with nothing less than utter bemusement. “You can’t be—" “Serious? Deadly.” Loki lowered you to the ground and kissed you so deeply that he felt the hidden parts of him mingle with yours. But it was meant to be this way. “You opened yourself to me during The Rite – gave me my destiny – but it wasn’t the succession, it was you.” You opened your mouth and closed it again.
Loki raised a hand and snapped his fingers.
Balls of light burst in perfect sync in mid-air: dozens of tiny, flickering orbs of golden flame. Your eyes met his. “Loki, I love you, but you don’t mean that you need to…your family would never—" “—Fuck my family,” he said softly. “To Hel with their inane traditions that serve no one but themselves. I will marry you, and I’ll be happy. I’ll make you happy. If you want it.” Loki touched his forehead to yours, feeling your shoulders begin to shake. “Together, we can usher in a new age of Asgard; a new dawn.” Loki drew his face away, unsurprised to see tracks of silent tears making your cheeks glisten. With every second that passed, the nerves in his stomach skittered to the emptiest corners of his mind he preferred never to tread.
“Will you have me?” he whispered, searching your face. “Will you help me?” The air was knocked out his lungs as you threw your whole weight at him; arms locked around his neck and mouth pressed violently to his own.
Amber slats of sunrise played in the sharp crevices of Loki’s cheekbones. They softened the bruise Thor had left. Loki hadn’t wanted to hide it, not from you. Not from Lagertha, either.
His blue eyes peered knowingly over the rim of one of her pattered teacups, narrowing softly. You smiled, and straightened as Lagertha came bustling through the kitchen door. “Ah, you stayed the night,” she said brightly, nodding to Loki and making for the teapot. “Thought you might. And I see you got the night-robe I left out, thank you for…wearing it. Not that I don’t appreciate the spectacle but given the circumstances it may be a little…inappropriate.”
She poured a cup, plopping down in the third seat at the small table, before looking between you. An eyebrow rose.
“If I go upstairs, Loki Odinson, there better not be a button out of place.”
The words were honeyed, but you could tell she’d kick his ass if there was. And Loki knew it too. You stifled a laugh as his eyes widened, and he pressed an innocent hand to his chest: mortally wounded. “Every thread is in place, Lagertha. You have my word.” She rolled her eyes, landing on you with a wink. "Mmm..." she murmured sceptically, her eyes falling to the tattered neckline of your nightgown. Heat crept up your neck.
The three of you sipped in silence before Lagertha said, “So I assume I’ll need to clear my weaving schedule for a wedding, then?” Loki's tea erupted in a splutter, bringing a fist to his mouth and coughing frantically. You turned to her. “I…um…we,” Lagertha patted your hand. “Don’t worry dear, I wasn’t listening. But like I said the first time we met…I have eyes.” She smiled gently. “Am I wrong?”
Her wry gaze swung between the two of you. “Thought not. Fandral just ordered a new batch of capes. I’ll tell him it won’t happen this quarter: Royal wedding garments take top priority, you see. What a shame. I know how much he loathes not getting what he wants.”
She gave you another wink. “But, for the two of you, I shall enjoy every moment.”
Loki reached across the table, and your own hand crawled forwards, meeting it. “I love you,” he murmured. “Finally,” Lagertha huffed. “Nice to hear you say it out loud – blazing Norns, it’s been a long week. If I wasn’t already grey, I would be.” Loki threw her a loving glare as his thumb massaged the centre of your palm. Despite lack of sleep, you’d never felt more awake. “As much as I adore her, Lagertha likes to think she knows everything, darling.” “Cos’ I do,” she said with a shrug. “At least where weaving and their enchantments are concerned. But this?” She gestured between you, “It was as obvious as Asgard is golden. Colour me unsurprised when you announce it and no one bats an eye. He’s met his match, and I’ll curse anyone who says otherwise; weave a spell into their robes which makes them perpetually shit themselves, perhaps. But you better not forget about the little ones—”
“—Never,” Loki cut in. She nodded, and put her hand on top of the knot you and Loki had made. A golden ribbon as thin as cobweb snaked over your wrist, slithering in soft waves through the gaps in your fingers and up Loki’s forearm.
“May the Norns bless you,” Lagertha said with a gentle smile, and the ribbon dissolved like melted sugar, absorbing into your skin. And as you and Loki’s eyes met, you knew, finally, that they did.
A/N: Thank you so much for coming on this journey with meee❤️I really hope you enjoyed seeing a bit more of this version of my Asgard, silly as it is. 🕯️ Whether you're reading this two days or two years afterwards, I'd love to hear your thoughts 😊 May the Lagertha-Vibes be with you, always.

When they hurt your feelings
Featuring: Indra, Loki, Poseidon, and Hades ( part 2 )
First time doing Indra so some things finna be made up in the peak of Svarga here. So bare with me on it. Loki is a fun character to write so ofc he is in part 2. Poseidon gonna be real easy to do as well so I wanted to add.
Part 1 and Part 3 if you missed them
Warnings? Yandere tendencies with Loki.
Indra
He was calm, stoic and minded his own business most of the time. When he was accepted into the tournament to fight for the final spot in Ragnarok, you were upset. Not happy, but upset.
“Why do you care? It’s not like I care whether I win or lose,” he would speak so casually while puffing on the cigarette like usual. Your eye twitched, you were his wife and he says this?
“Agh, never mind.” You had tried to leave but you just watched you turn on your heels and storm out of the room. The first match was about to begin and you would rather not even be near Indra.
You had found Shiva who was watching the first match by himself. “You got lost?” he asked but you scoffed.
“Huh? No, I’m just… bored.” You stood a bit away from him.
“Well, whatever then.” Two of his arms were propping the back of his head up. You had wondered why he was here. He doesn’t even need to be here.
“Why are you here anyway?” You pursued your lips. Shiva shrugged and sat up a bit while the first match was a bit intriguing with Ra and Cu he still was able to answer.
“Hmm I like the idea of this tournament and also, I want to see how my buddy Indra fight.” Shiva turned his head away to watch the remaining of the fight between Ra and Cu. Buddy eh?
“You don’t care if he dies?” You had asked with slight worry. You can’t deny it since it was allowed to kill your opponent. And his opponent was the red-haired man who looked cocky. You already disliked Suzaku and you hoped Indra beats him.
“That’s the whole part of this. Taking risks. It’s a risk you may die but you could also win. Indra is tough, so stop worrying.” Shiva waved you off. Even his wives weren’t even worried about Shiva being apart of Ragnarok. You were still upset how Indra didn’t care whether he dies.
You wanted to find him and support him now. As you were walking back, you still had worries fill your heart. You saw Indra off in a corner and ran up to him. He raised one brow to you. “Sorry, I shouldn’t have doubted you.” You breathed out. Your cheeks puffed a bit with stubbornness.
“You ran to Shiva, didn’t you?” Indra sighed while he had an arrogant exterior. He didn’t like how you always ran to the other gods to fix your problem. He preferred you to talk it out with him.
“I… I— no! I just saw him,” you flat-out denied it. You weren’t as hurt before but you wanted him to come out of this alive.
He pulled you into his side with his arm squeezing your waist. You almost had jumped from his touch but you eased a bit from the sudden movement. Indra may be an introvert and prefers to be alone most of the time, but he still rather you stay by his side. After all, you were surrounded by gods from every pantheon. He didn’t want to have to fight everyone to keep you next to him.
Loki
Arguing with this man has become second nature. He doesn’t understand that you wanted to have some personal freedom away from Asgard. Loki always spins on you how you’re trying to leave him. Leave? Leave?! This hurt you a bit. How could you leave him? You were growing furious with his accusations.
“Sometimes Thor is more tolerable to be around than you, you should know that.” You have crossed your arms and tried to turn away.
Loki pulled your arm and that’s when you saw the new look in his eyes. It was like he changed in an instant. “Him?! He wouldn’t give you the ounce of care that I have for you, don’t you get it? I can give you whatever you want—” You jerked your arm back.
“I never tried to throw you aside, Loki. You’re always too overprotective and rude towards anyone tries to associate themselves with me.” You crossed your arms and gave him a soft glare.
“Rude? Ha! You’re mixing me up with Huginn and Munnin.” Loki was right about Odin’s ravens being obnoxious at times. You tried to not interact with them. They never shut up and were yappy and said mean things towards you. However, he tried to divert the topic. You tried to leave the room but he noticed the tension between you two was… already bad.
Loki tends to over think his thoughts and assume the worst.
He knew he wasn’t making the matter any better. “Hey! Wait, I shouldn’t have been too harsh,” Loki caught up to you. You clenched your hands into fists but sighed. His accusations can be irritating to you but it’s like he has no faith in you. No trust either.
“I’m just mad because you assume the worst sometimes. I just want to visit some family outside of the castle. It’s been ages so yes, I’m a bit hurt.” You put your foot back down and spun on your heel to face Loki.
“Fine, fine you can visit your family! I wasn’t trying to keep you away from them.” He raised his hands up innocently and gave you a smile. You couldn’t tell if he was trying to trick you into believing he doesn’t care anymore. Deep down he would rather you all to himself but he can’t force you to be with him all the time.
“Whatever, I’m not hurt anymore. When I return you’re going to burn that weird doll of me in your secret room you’ve been hiding for years. It doesn’t even look like me either.” You huffed annoyingly before stomping out of the palace. He was confused with what had happened. He wanted to retaliate but it was a losing battle with you.
You weren't mad or called him the worst names for it? Loki wasn’t sure how to feel about you finding out about that stuff he kept in his secret room. You must’ve found out about that room when you stumbled upon it one day.
He sighed in relief but he was a tad bit disappointed that he had to burn it. Oh well, as long as he had the real thing— you. Nothing would matter more than you to him.
Poseidon
You had tried for many years to impress Poseidon. You weren’t a follower, but you had admired his strength and title of king of the seas. You wanted to be notable like him.
He only acknowledged your existence whenever he treated you as a maid even though you were more than that. You were a goddess but weak in his eyes. There was no going back, no way to prove your worth to him. ‘What an ass,” you thought. You wanted to be something more, but you didn’t know how to prove it.
He would brush your politeness off when you asked if you could stay with him and clean his room. Poseidon snapped his head in your direction. “Why? There’s no need for you in my personal space. You don’t deserve my time.” His words struck like steal into your flesh. Heh? You immediately left afterwards.
Your feelings were incredibly hurt. It’s been several days since that incident and you refused to be around Poseidon. There was no way he would accept you. Any progress was gone and you were back in your room. Alone. Like usual.
You changed your position and decided to be on your own. Apollo saw you casually walking through the Olympus garden admiring the beauty of it. He thought you looked elegant and not some Poseidon simp as he had always thought you were.
“Why are you here?” Apollo tilted his head and you jumped and bowed in his presence. After all, he still has higher authority than you. You liked how you respected them but he could tell something was wrong.
“Sorry if I’m not allowed here, I’ll leave.” You waited for him to speak so you could lift your head.
“Lift your head, dear. Your position is the same as everyone else here unless you’re well… Zeus.” Apollo grimaced and wondered why you were so upset. Little to your knowledge Poseidon saw Apollo approach you moments before and decided to lean against the wall out of sight to hear in what Apollo was trying to do.
“You’re way too beautiful for someone like Poseidon to treat you like this. No need to deny it, I know I’m right.” He could read minds?! Or was it obvious you were just too much of an admirer of Poseidon?
“It’s nothing, I’ll still serve Zeus wherever I’m needed.” You tried to hide the void that Poseidon left on you but Apollo knew you so well even though you barely knew him.
“Hmm, whatever. If you want to serve someone better, you know where to find me.” Apollo swiftly turned on his feet and left out of sight. You fell silent, even though his offer was up in the air. You didn’t want to leave Poseidon still. Why were you feeling such pain still?
You were about to leave the area and when you immediately turned around, the god of the seas stood in front of you unannounced. His eyes lingered over your form and he didn’t say anything. “You want to serve my nephew?” He spoke lowly and you looked down. You were trying to not feel afraid of him.
“N-No, not at all. I only serve you…” your lips quivered.
Poseidon stepped forward and only was mere inches from you. He loathed for what Apollo said but he didn’t take it to the heart. You were too beautiful for someone like him? Maybe you were beautiful, but you weren’t undeserving of him. He refused to believe that. He was going to have a talk with Apollo later.
“Come, I’ll prove Apollo wrong.” He turned away from you. You were nervous and confused. He didn’t look over his shoulder to look at you either. Prove him wrong?
“Don’t make me repeat myself,” he frowned and a glint of hope sparked in your chest. You were happy that he didn’t want to let go of you yet.
Hades
Some monster had tried to kill you again in Helheim. You were mad and wanted to be left alone before you fought the serpent monster to the death. You were strong and Hades admired you for it which was why he was interested in you from the beginning and swayed you into being his wife later on, however, he didn’t like you venturing out without his knowledge. There are far tougher things to worry about than lowly entities that would attack you at any given time.
“What did I say? You’re supposed to tell me if you’re going to leave the castle. Don’t be foolish and reckless next time.” Hades was trying to calm himself but you frowned at his words.
“I am not hurt, why are you mad?” You defended yourself from what he was implying. Did he have any faith in you? He thinks you’d die to something so easy?
“That’s not the point.” He snapped his head at you before sitting back down on his chair.
“Fine, I’ll just be bored here with you then.” You huffed and went to sit alone in a corner. Hades was growing irritated by your stubbornness. He wasn’t restricting your freedom but some areas of Helheim were completely riddled with dangerous monsters.
“My work is not boring, you on the other hand can’t even follow simple orders. It’s just a miracle I keep you alive.” Hades rested his hand on his armrest while he raised his brow to see you reading something about devils. Hades wondered why you wanted to fight them so much. He’d prefer that you stayed away from them.
You were offended by what he said. He went from being a loving husband to ‘it’s a miracle I keep you alive?!’
“You keep me alive because you feel like it? Why don’t you actually kill me right here?” You walked over to him. You thought there was more to it. Why did he want you as his wife then? Another deity who had been in Helheim longer than him and was carefree?
“That is not what I meant!” He stood up as you cowered your head. You didn’t mean to anger him and he was one of the most feared gods to exist. However, this was the first time he had ever raised his tone at you.
It was unusual for any god to be in Helheim. You were one of the few gods that resided in the dark hell hole known as Helheim and learnt how to adapt to it, you chose it over Valhalla for other reasons. You liked how you got to do whatever you wanted, up until Hades took over, and you were surprised that someone had an interest in ruling the netherwold. You had introduced yourself as just another underworld goddess. You never called yourself queen but when he asked if you were the queen of the netherworld, you were taken back. You never thought yourself as one. No, he wanted to make you his queen since that day.
When you remember how Hades became your husband, it wasn’t ever supposed to be like that. He just appeared one day and took over the shit hole while you defended yourself and lived in survival mode. He was also the one who saved you from the Titans that raided Helheim which was how you met him. You owe your life to him and it felt impossible to say no to him to be his wife. You still gave him the love he wanted but was that enough?
You refused to make eye contact with him but walked towards you and pulled you in his arms. “Why did you— Why didn’t you kill me that day? Wouldn’t it have been easier than dealing with me?” You remember the day when the Titans broke into Helheim and he fought them off and saved you from being killed by them. He spared your life despite he didn’t have to.
“No. I saw the look in your eyes. You were afraid. You wanted to live. I haven’t seen such determination in someone’s eyes.” He brushed some of your hair back behind your ear.
“It worries me that I won’t be able to save you a second time. It would be a shame with how lonely it would be without you.” His arms wrapped around your body and you calmed yourself with him holding you.
You were no longer hurt and had accepted this was the love from the man who wanted you more than anything to stay by his side.
Note: that is all for now. Sorry Loki is written as a weird dude like usual. Weird is fun and I like weird broken characters. Dunno when I’ll do part 3. I want to get back to some other things and requests.

Hi can you write like a small one-shot where thor sneaks the reader into Asgard to surprise loki for Christmas and because she needs to tell him that shes pregnant
.⋆。The Things He Left Behind。⋆.
Loki x plus size reader
Pregnancy announcements can be terrifying even for regular people but with your baby daddy being a Frost Giant, god, a criminal and someone who has pretty much implied he doesn’t want kids, you have a long uphill battle. Oh, and it’s Christmas
Warnings: pregnancy, fear of rejection, fluff, brief mentions of morning sickness and nausea, implied smut, tiny bit of angst

Being pregnant was an interesting phenomenon; a person was growing inside of you, someone who would grow up to be their own adult. You knew logically that at only a couple months along, the baby was simply a clump of cells that would eventually mature into something new. But already, you were so attached to the life that could be.
Normally, something so monumental as being pregnant with a child born from love between life partners would be celebrated, but your heart was filled with dread and fear. The relationship you had was rocky at best, not in terms of love, there was plenty of that, but because he was a criminal and a dangerous one at that.
It was a punishment for his crimes. He was to be kept on Earth, stuck with the men and women he had attempted to rule. You met him by chance, accidentally bumping into the striking god as you were rushing to attend a meeting on behalf of your boss. As you fell to the floor, you caught his eyes and something shifted within you as it did within him.
Your love had been secret, growing in the darkness of the dead of night, in shadowy corridors and empty rooms. Your soul ached for him as if he held a piece of you in his cold hands, never to be returned. You were his just as much as he was yours and for a time, that was enough.
But as the months carried on, the looming threat of his inevitable departure became monstrous. There was no changing his fate, he would have to leave and you both knew that your pleas and your begging for him to stay would fall on deaf ears. So on his last night with you, he slipped from the not-so-watchful eyes of Earth’s greatest heroes and stole you away.
He took you to Paris, lavishing you with gifts that you still held sacred to this day. He worshipped you with everything he had, taking you apart over and over again until the cold light of day washed over your naked bodies and he was forced to leave your bed in handcuffs.
But jewels and books were not the only things he left you.
The exhaustion came first, then the extreme tenderness of your breasts, and lastly, the dreaded morning sickness. Your boss, Maria Hill, was the first to broach the issue with you after you had fallen asleep at your desk one too many times. She shoved the box of tests into your hand, telling you it was ok and that she knew but didn’t judge.
Now, as the first snow of the year began to fall and your stomach was beginning to round out, you approached the one man who could help you. “Thor?” His eyes met yours from over the back of the huge leather sofa. A pop-tart crumb hung on the corner of his lips which fell off as soon as he smiled when he saw you.
“Ah! My brother’s love! How are you on this fine day?” You chuckled humorlessly and decided to indulge the god for a bit before asking him a favour which might get him into some serious trouble.
“I’m doing ok, looking forward to Christmas.” You nervously shuffled on your feet, the modest kitten heels you had been forced to wear because of your aching feet, clicking against the dark hardwood flooring. Even with his deep confusion regarding human behaviour, Thor could see how anxious you were.
He shifted forward and rose from the couch then turned to you. “There is something amiss, what is it?”
“You need to get me to Asgard. I have to see Loki.” He froze as a bewildered look came over his face.
“I cannot do that my lady. Even I am not allowed to visit my brother and he is, well he is my little brother. Odin has ordered him to be isolated from everyone as his-“
“I’m pregnant!” You blurted out, interrupting the god. “I’m pregnant with Loki’s baby.” Thor’s body physically seized as the weight of your words hit him. His blue eyes went wide with shock, and if you weren’t mistaken, maybe a little bit of excitement.
Tentatively, he inched closer to you. Like a puppy, he was vibrating with nerves. “Really!” Unable to help yourself, you smiled at your friend.
“Really really.” Your hand came to rest on the soft fat above your womb. “But Thor, Loki needs to know. And I need help, I don’t know how a human body will handle growing a half-Frost Giant demigod.”
“Yes.” He agreed. “Yes! We must bring you back home and then we can fix all of this.” Thor looked frazzled as he righted himself in front of you. “Mother will have some idea of what to do and I’m sure she will be able to sneak you into the prison.” Before you could realise what was happening, Thor had swept you into his muscular arms and was running through the compound.
“Thor! We can’t go now! I need to get my things!” You bounced with every step he took and you clung to his shirt.
Thor shook his head. “I can bring you new things, we must get you home.” The winter air hit you like a slap in the face as the god bounded outside, not even flinching at the drastic change in temperature. “Just hold tight my friend, you will be with your beloved soon enough!”
——————
Asgard was completely overwhelming and as you walked through the golden streets, arm linked with Thor’s, you finally understood why Loki spoke so ill of the place. Each and every person you passed carried an air of smug superiority about them, even as they bent in a shallow bow or curtsy to their prince. They were gods, perfect beings who had conquered worlds and existed for thousands of years in peace.
The huge palace drew closer and your hold tightened around Thor. You had the distinct urge to hold your belly for comfort, to know that part of Loki was still with you, but you were scared of the judgemental gazes of the beautiful people around you. “We are almost there my friend. I will take you straight to the Allmother.”
He patted your hand kindly. “Everyone here is scarily beautiful.” You mutter under your breath but evidently he heard you.
“Then you will fit right in.” He murmured back as you stepped over the threshold to his childhood home. The ornate walls towered over you both, sealing you into a place you should have never been. The gold is almost blinding, coating pretty much every surface as far as the eye could see.
You cringed at the loudness of your small heels against the floor, the sound echoing through the great halls like a drum. Your fingers curled into Thor’s warm skin. He glanced down at you but your eyes were fixed straight ahead, oblivious to his gaze. He just started walking faster, unable to find the words to comfort you.
The smell of lilies invaded your senses, turning your stomach. Your nausea had settled after your first trimester ended but apparently the baby just didn’t like flowers. The smell steadily became stronger, as did the urge to throw up but by the time you reached a set of dark oak doors, your nerves were far more overpowering.
Before Thor could even raise his fist to knock, the doors swung inwards, revealing a bright but homey room absolutely bursting with colour. An older woman stood in the entryway, dressed simply in a flowing green dress, her dark blonde hair braided back simply. Her eyes lit up with a knowing light. “My Thor.” She cooed, easily accepting a crushing hug from the god before she turned to you.
“I have been waiting to meet you for a very long time my dear.” She said plainly and suddenly all your nerves were gone. Your grimace floated into a smile as her arms wrapped around you in a hug so loving it made your chest burn with affection.
Unable to stop yourself, you nuzzle into her safe embrace, your whole body relaxing. She laid a kiss to your temple before pulling away but her hands remained firmly on your shoulders. “Loki has told me all about you, he will be happy to see you.”
Anxiety returned like a tidal wave, washing away the warm feeling your almost mother-in-law gave you. Your smile dimmed while your hands came to rest on your lower stomach. “He might not be as excited when he learns why I’m here.”
Frigg’s hands move to cup your rounded cheeks, forcing you to meet her eyes. “He loves you and he will love the child. Even if it doesn’t seem that way at first. Now let us make sure you and the little one are fed and healthy and then you can see him.” She took you by your left hand and guided you further into the room as Thor, with a huge smile on his face, left the two of you alone to talk.
——————
Christmas was vastly different on Asgard, you learned quickly. There was no snow, no cold, no carols or quiet nights. It mainly consisted of feasts and celebrations that lasted for days. But what was the same were the gifts. Thousands were exchanged through the festivities and Thor had somehow gotten into his head that you were the gift he was going to give to his estranged brother.
Much to his own and his mother’s amusement, he ripped up a piece of fabric and tied it in a bow around your midsection. “Come now! He will love it!” You just huffed and rolled your eyes but allowed him to continue making small adjustments to the bow.
Frigg sat on one of the many couches in her chambers, sipping on a now mostly cold cup of tea as she laughed at the pair of you. A large weight had been lifted from the room now that the healer had confirmed the baby was healthy and growing as they should.
And now, a warmth grew within you. This was what you wanted, a loving family with the man who had so easily snatched up your heart. All of the material things he had left behind were nothing compared to this moment.
As the sun began to set over the great city, you were bundled up in a thick cloak that disguised you well and led you down to the prison. The guards turned their heads as who they assumed was the queen passed by on her nightly visit to her younger son. They knew it was technically not allowed by the king but it stopped the dark prince from destroying his cell every chance he got, so they just let it happen.
His cage was kept far away from the others, isolated for his crimes, even from those who faced the same harsh punishments. Yet he was given luxuries that none of the others were afforded, Loki assumed it was pity from his adoptive family that drove them to decorate the small room with lavish goods.
From the angle at which you entered his part of the prison, you could clearly see your love without him seeing you. You felt like crying. He was so close, you swore if you reached out just a few inches, you could touch him.
Loki was sitting on the ground, his back to you, as he stared off into space. His hair, normally clean and beautifully styled, fell in front of his face in unruly raven waves, partially hiding his paler than normal skin. He was barefoot and wearing clothes that should have been changed days ago.
Your heart lurched at the sight of him. In the months you had known him, you had never seen the god so… broken. And you supposed that’s what he was. He had been tortured and betrayed, cast aside by the only people he had known as his family before being labelled a criminal and thrown away to rot. Tears blurred your vision before you quickly wiped them away with a sniffle.
“I have told you that I do not want to see anyone mother.” He hissed, letting his head fall back against the enchanted glass as he did so.
“I had hoped that you would make an exception for me.” Your voice was weak but just the sound alone caused his whole body to freeze.
Slowly, almost cautiously, he rose to his feet, turning on his heel to face you. As soon as his eyes met yours, his body visibly fell and his face disappeared behind his hands. “Loki?” A heartbreaking sob ripped from his lungs as he collapsed to his knees.
Panic set your veins alight and with a trembling hand, you used the small magic key Frigg had bestowed upon you to enter the cell. You wasted no time, immediately taking him into your arms for the first time in months.
His face burrowed into the crook of your neck as he wound around you. He shook in your embrace, his tears soaking through your clothes as he cried, holding onto you as tight as you could. You placed kiss after kiss to his head in a vain attempt to sooth him as you succumbed to your own emotions.
“Are you really here?” You tried to answer him through the tears but all you could get out was more of a grunt than a word but you nodded against his hair and squeezed him even tighter. “H-how?”
Loki pulled away from you just enough to meet your gaze. His eyes were bloodshot, making the blue of his irises even more striking. “Thor and your mother.” You managed to stammer out.
There was a brief moment of silence as his dark brow furrowed in what you assumed to be confusion. His gaze dropped down to your body, still hidden by the thick cloak, then looked around the cell as if searching for someone. “Who else is here? I sense another presence.
“That's why I came here.” You gently guided his left hand down to your bump that seemed to grow each day, laying his palm flat against your stomach. “I’m pregnant.”
Loki’s breath caught, his eyes going wide. And he flinched.
Immediately, you were consumed by the fear you had tried so hard to tamp down since the first moment you saw that little plus sign on the test. He didn’t want the baby, he didn’t want you. This whole thing was a mistake, your mind screamed at you. But as your muscles tensed like you were preparing to run, Loki snapped out of it.
The world blurred around you and suddenly you were laying on a small bed in the corner, Loki hovering over you. His lean body slid easily between your soft thighs, pinning you to the surprisingly comfortable mattress with his weight. “My love. You’re truly with child?” His voice shook, his hand returning to your stomach.
“26 weeks as of yesterday and perfectly healthy.” He nodded and met your gaze once more, a small smile growing on his pallid lips.
“I had a feeling. I thought- I thought something happened to you but it was just a new life being formed.” You breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed against the bed.
“And how would you know that?” You cooed, wrapping your arms around his neck.
“Darling just because I have been locked away doesn’t mean that I can’t still use my magic.” His hand slipped up your front, obviously intending to go for your swollen breast but he paused at the extra piece of fabric that was now laying around your waist. “What is this?”
You responded with a giggle. “A bow. Thor wanted to give me to you for Christmas.” A fond look came over his face then, a realisation that you were not yet privy to.
“Indeed this is the best gift he could have ever given me.” Then for the first time in six months, he kissed you.
And as he stripped away your clothes and made love to you more tenderly than ever before, you couldn’t help but agree- this was the best gift to ever have been given

So I have a prompt if you're willing.
So like a bunch I've seen in the past, what if Loki has a crush on the reader and doesn't know how to process his feelings. So he picks on her, pulls pranks on her, and just being kind of mean to her. But of course Loki doesn't see it that way. Instead of the reader standing up for herself or trying to beat him at his own game, she gets really down on herself. Being picked on reminds her of her bullies from highschool and all the bad feelings come back. She starts to isolate herself, grows quiet, and starts skipping things if she finds out Loki's going to be there. It isn't until Nat (or whoever) sets him right, that he realizes what he's been doing to her. Is it too late to save this could be relationship?
I would like a happy ending but plenty of angst. Feel free to say no if you don't want to. 💙🖤💚💜

You stood at the kitchen counter waiting for the world's slowest coffee machine to finish "all that money and stark can't even get a fast machine." You sighed leaning your elbow on the counter when you heard voices coming from the hallway "I told you brother, I was the one who broke up with her" Thor's voice boomed through the room like the thunder he was known for "whatever you say thor." Loki's smooth voice followed after. Looking up seeing the bane of your existence patting his brother on the shoulder as they walked into the kitchen. "Ah lady y/n, how are you?" Thor asked smiling as he reached into the cupboard grabbing a box of his pop tarts "I'm fine, how are you?" You asked as the coffee machine finally beeped signaling it was done.
"I am quite well thank you, we are headed to the training room." He said setting the box down next to you when you finally took stock of what they were wearing. Thor in his red shirt and black joggers when your eyes met Loki's, the smile on his face sending a shiver through you as your eyes traveled down seeing his tight black tank hugging every muscle he had. Biting you lip seeing his exposed arms, tracing the veins down to his long yet delicate fingers "your staring again darling." He purred snapping you out of your trance "sorry." You whispered grabbing the sugar bowl you began sweetening your coffee "I would be careful with that if I were you." Loki said making you look up at him "why is that?" You asked holding the spoon over your cup. "Well its just you mortals and sugar, i have heard it adds to the waistline does it not?" He asked smiling as his eyes traveled down your body.
"What..." you started when he raised his hand "I know it is not your fault, your weak mortal form cannot handle what we can." He said smiling again flexing his large pectoral muscles. Dropping the spoon you looked down at yourself, you knew you had put on a few pounds...being Pepper's assistant left Iittle time to make home cooked meals so a lot of your food was take out or on the run. You adjusted your belt feeling your eyes burn "you can always join us in the gym, i would be happy to...assist you." loki purred again. Looking up seeing he was still focused on your body "t..thanks but I..." you trailed off putting your cup in the sink
"I need to go, maybe I'll see you guys later." You said quickly leaving the room before he could say anything else. You made it to your office, flopping in your chair with a huff. "Does he think im fat?" You asked yourself straightening your back you looked down at your soft middle, poking it with your finger sighing. "Maybe a diet wouldn't be a bad idea." You said to yourself turning on your computer trying to get to work but Loki's words kept echoing in your head. You leaned back in your chair feeling a tear stream down your cheek. You had admittedly had a crush on the god practically since you were hired, and through your work with them you had grown closer to him, you could say you were friends. But the last few weeks he's seemed to go out of his way to point out every imperfection you had. You sighed closing your eyes deciding to go shopping after work to buy new clothes and a variety of green leafy things.
A few days later you once again stood in the kitchen placing various fruits and vegetables in a blender. Nat had told you about a smoothie that could help you lose weight when you saw Loki walking into the kitchen looking like be just rolled out of bed. His hair was a disheveled mess, the muscles of his bare chest flexing as he ran a hand through it "Hello little mortal, what are you up to now?" He asked walking to the fridge grabbing two bottles of water making your heart plummet "nothing." You said quietly continuing your work. "Mmm, and the change of wardrobe?" He asked gently tugging on the end of your overly large blouse "stop it." You snapped swatting his hand away hearing him laugh. "Did we wake up in a mood darling?" He asked taking a seat on the stool in front of you. "Dont you have a guest to get back to?" You sneered pointing at his second water bottle "She will be fine, this is much more entertaining." He smiled grabbing a strawberry from your pile taking a bite as he stared into your eyes.
You felt your heart sink at the confirmation, the familiar burning in your eyes returning "I'm not here to entertain you Loki." You growled when his bright emerald eyes met yours "but you do it oh so well." He purred biting into another strawberry. You sighed, closing your eyes fighting back the tears that were threatening to expose you when you heard a pair of heels clicking against the tile floor "there you are, you just left me alone." A woman's voice sounded through the room making your eyes shoot open, a tall thin redhead sauntered up to the counter placing a perfectly manicured hand on Loki's bicep "apologies, I became distracted." He said not taking his eyes off of you. "Oh, is she making us smoothies?" The woman asked excitedly as she took the seat next to him. "I do not know, are you y/n?" He asked, a smirk spreading across his face as you placed the last of the ingredients in the blender
"well she's your assistant isn't she? Why else would she be here with you?" The woman laughed as you turned on the blender hoping to drown her out when you saw the lid of the blender begin to glow "what the..." you were cut off as the lid flew off and the entire contents of the blender shot out and all over your shirt, gasping as the cold liquid seeped through to your skin "oh dear...it seems you will need to change that hideous shirt." Loki's voice entered your consciousness as your eyes shot to his seeing him laughing with his "date". you grabbed a towel trying to get as much of the green concoction off you as you could, tears welling in your eyes "green really is your color darling" Loki purred making you sigh.
You threw the towel in the sink seeing the redhead pressed against his arm laughing when you looked at him, his eyes roaming your now drenched shirt "i...I need to go." You said quickly heading towards the hall when Nat walked in "y/n, what happened?" She asked seeing your ruined shirt "nothing, just..." you said looking over your shoulder seeing loki had turned still watching you "just a blender mishap, I'm fine." You said stepping around her when she grabbed your arm "y/n, are you ok?" She asked, her eyes boring into you. "Of course. Why wouldn't I be?" You asked as nat glanced back into the kitchen seeing loki and the redhead "y/n.." She started when you pulled your arm free "I said im fine nat, i...I have to go pepper is waiting." You said quickly turning to the elevator before she could say anything else.
You stepped in pushing the button, as the doors closed you finally allowed the tears to fall. Any inkling of a hope you had for you and Loki had just been crushed under the reality of your life you would never be good enough. Your mind went back to the woman he was with, she could have been a model, an actress. You had to admit she was beautiful when your mind went back over the last few weeks with Loki, his constant comments about your weight, your clothes, the time you tried to add a little makeup to your routine hoping he would notice, but his reaction crushed you "aren't clowns supposed to be in the circus?" He had asked shaking his head. Every off handed comment, every slight against your appearance drudging memories long buried..."if you lost a few pounds maybe a guy would be interested"..."is face transplant surgery a thing? Because you need one."..."what guy in their right mind would go out with you." You made it to your office, thankful you kept an extra shirt in your desk for just in case situations you quickly changed, tossing the soiled shirt into your bag as you flopped down into your chair. "I thought we were atleast friends." You said to yourself wiping the tears from your cheeks when you heard a knock on your door
"Hey y/n, we have a meeting with the team, we gotta go." Pepper said smiling "is...is Loki going to be there?" You asked grabbing your pen and a pad of paper "yeah, it's an all hands meeting about the new protocols for missions." She said "umm, I'm really not feeling very well...can I skip this one?" You asked as she stepped in closing the door "what's wrong y/n?" She asked sitting across from you "nothing, I'm fine." You said looking down at your desk "I Just don't feel well, that's all." You said looking back up seeing her eyeing you "well ok, why don't you take the rest of the day off and I'll see you in the morning." She said standing back up. "Thank you Pepper, I really appreciate it." You said quickly gathering your things "you know you can talk to me right, if you need to?" She asked opening your door "yes, thank you but I'm fine." You said seeing her nod "ok, I'll see you tomorrow." She said walking out closing the door behind her.
You grabbed your bag, turning your lights off you locked the door to your office before heading downstairs hoping you could slip out undetected. You made it to the common room when a familiar voice sounded behind you "where are you off to little mortal? We have a meeting" Loki asked making you freeze "i...I'm not feeling well so I'm going home." You said not turning around "well do try to eat some vegetables, not that chocolate you like so much." He said hearing him take a step closer to you "you know what they say, it's goes straight to your thighs." He purred next to your ear making you look down "I have to go Loki." You said quickly walking to the nearest exit when you heard Thor "come brother, everyone is waiting." You turned to see Loki still looking at you as Thor patted his shoulder. Putting your head down you pushed the door open and headed for the car park. Throwing everything in the back you climbed in turning the key you looked down at yourself, sighing you put your car into gear and headed home, and away from Loki.
Loki's pov-
Loki quickly closed the door to his room and headed for the kitchen. Looking at his watch, smiling at the memory of when you gave it to him "there, now you won't be late anymore." You had said as you handed him the green velvet box, a large smile spread across your beautiful face as he opened it seeing the green iridescent face and gold hands ticking away, the black leather strap surrounding a tiny green pillow. He knew right then that his feelings for you went beyond comrodery, surpassing friendship into....something else, something he hadn't ever felt before. He quickened his pace knowing right now you would he in the kitchen messing with that odd machine that makes your coffee every morning. It had been two weeks since the incident with the smoothie and his conscience had been eating at him ever since.
He wanted more, he longed to hold you in his arms and never let you go but you always kept him at arms length, shying away when he attempted his usual method of flirting, but he couldn't resist the pull you had on him so he kept at it...kept pushing. But he knew that day in the kitchen he had gone too far, as much as he loved seeing you flustered and the things your drenched shirt did to him as it clung to your breasts he also saw the sadness in your eyes, the tears threatening to spill over as you stormed towards the hall. He was about to go after when he saw you talking to the widow, who shot him a glare that sent ice up his spine before you were gone again. He had hoped to catch you in the meeting, pull you aside and finally confess but you had fallen ill, leaving again before he had a chance.
Glancing at his watch again he began to jog down the hall, he had tried to catch you everyday since but you always evaded him, never staying in the kitchen too long and he wasn't allowed on the upper floors where your office was, some nonsense about his probation and secured areas when he made it to the kitchen, sighing seeing you standing there with Thor. He furrowed his eyebrows taking in your appearance, your clothes were baggier on your small frame then normal, your long beautiful hair that framed your face so perfectly was pulled back into a messy bun, dark circles encompassed your once bright eyes that now seemed distant, the sparkle that was there now dimmed. "This truly is an odd contraption." Thor's voice pulled him from his trance as he saw you smile but it didn't reach your eyes.
He took a small step in when your eyes shot up to his, your body going rigid as you stared at him "ah brother, lady y/n was showing me how she makes coffee." Thor said taking a sip from his cup "I must say it is quite good, you should try some." He said walking around to the other side of the island sitting on a stool "i...I have to go, you can show him Thor." You said quickly grabbing your cup you began walking to the elevator "y/n, may I..." he was silenced as you turned, the look in your eyes sending a shiver through him "I can't talk Loki, i...I have to get to work." You said, all emotion gone from your voice "but I...I just wanted to..." loki trailed off looking to his feet "I am sorry for the day in the kitchen, with the blender." He said fidgeting with his fingers "it's fine, don't worry about it." You said, the same coldness in your tone as he looked up at you "it's not the first time, and it won't be the last." You said taking a step back towards the elevator "but y/n..." he started when you held your hand up "I need to go." You said quickly turning and before he could say anything else you were gone.
He returned to the kitchen to see Thor staring at him "what was all that about?" He asked sipping his coffee "I need to speak with her but she had to go." Loki said setting the kettle on the stove. "Mm, well there is the party stark is throwing tonight, I'm sure the lady will be there, she goes to all of them." Thor said matter of factly "Thor, I never thought I would say this but you are a genuis." Loki said turning the stove off heading towards his room. The party, how could he forget the party! He thought as he walked in heading to his closet he pulled his black suit out, laying it on the bed going to his dresser he pulled out his black silk shirt and vest laying them next to his suit. "I will ask her to dance with me and then tell her." Loki said to himself grabbing a towel heading into the bathroom "tonight y/n, you will finally be mine." He said, smiling to himself as he turned the water on and began to prepare for tonight.
Straightening his suit he walked into the large overcrowded room. The music booming through the speakers made his head throb as he skirted his way through the throngs of people, looking around hoping to catch a glimpse of you as he made it to the bar. He looked up and down but saw no sign of you at all "what'll you have?" The bartender asked snapping him back "oh, um whiskey please." Loki said looking back out to the large crowd "maybe she isn't here yet?" He said to himself as the bartender set a glass of amber liquid in front of him. "Ah Loki, I wasn't sure you would be here." He heard next to him, turning his head to see none other then the widow taking a seat on one of the stools "yes well, I am here looking for someone." He said glancing back out "oh I'm sure you have no shortage of "dates." She airquoted making him raise an eyebrow at her. "What does that mean?" He asked leaning on the bar.
"Nothing, just rumors of your conquests have definitely traveled through the tower." She laughed making him sigh "Hmm yes, I have heard." He said looking out to the crowd again "do you think y/n is running late?" He asked making her raise her eyebrow this time "why so interested?" She asked crossing her arms "no reason, I was only curious." He shrugged sipping his drink "Mm, if i didnt know better i would say you were more then curious." Nat said as she turned ordering her drink "and what pray tell makes you think that?" He asked seeing her smile "I am going to tell you something I probably shouldn't, but needs to be said." Nat said grabbing her drink
"I know you and y/n are friends, well were until as of recently." She said sipping her drink "but I know a person in love when I see them, reading people is what I do." She said seeing Loki's eyes widen "see, what you need to try to understand about our y/n is she has a very large heart, she cares alot." Nat continued seeing loki nod "but shes been through alot, people have not treated her with the same kindness she gives. And what you said to her....and before you ask yes i know about all of it." She said quickly before he could interupt "honestly, it devastated her. The last two weeks she hasnt been herself, she wont talk to anyone, she refuses to go to meetings." She sighed shaking her head "all im saying is, if you dont feel the same about her just tell her, but stop messing with her, she doesn't deserve it." Nat snapped standing from her stool. "Have a nice evening Loki." She said making her way back into the crowd.
Loki mulled her words over in his head what have i done? He thought as he downed his drink and began heading to the exit when the same redheaded woman from that day found him "Hey handsome, care for a dance?" She purred rubbing his arm "no thank you, I must be going." He said walking around her "I thought maybe we could have another sleep over, get to know eachother better." She said grabbing his bicep "apologies but I'm afraid the answer is still no, I...I have met someone." He said seeing her nod "lucky girl." She smiled removing her hand "I'll see you around." She smiled walking back into the crowd as Loki let out the breath he was holding. Now he just had to find a way to get to you and talk to you, tell you everything once and for all and he knew exactly how he was going to do it.
He continued walking through the crowd when he heard a familiar laugh, looking up seeing Thor on the balcony of the vip section, rolling his eyes seeing him swinging his precious hammer around when his eyes landed on you. "Y/n..." he sighed taking you in. Your hair was gently curled cascading down to your shoulders, the floor length powder blue dress hugged your beautiful body perfectly, the long slit landing at the middle of your thigh made his heart race as you shifted, exposing your supple skin. His hands clenching into fists thinking about how badly he wanted to run his hands up and down those beautiful legs as they were wrapped around him, squeezing him as he gave you everything he had...worshipping you exaclty how you deserved.
Shaking his head he adjusted his slacks that had suddenly become very tight as he pulled his phone out, dialing the number he wanted he looked up watching Thor set his hammer down before pulling out his own device "ah brother, where are you?" Thor asked looking around the room "Thor, may I have a word?" Loki asked as their eyes met "meet me at the bar." Loki said hanging up quickly heading back to the bar when a large hand landed on his shoulder "loki, is everything alright?" Thor asked leaning on the bar. "Brother, I have a favor to ask." Loki said looking back to the balcony, Thor following his gaze nodding "tell me what you need." Thor said seeing Loki smile.
You stood off to the side, wondering how you let nat talk you into coming tonight. You pulled at the dress that she had loaned you. It was too tight, the neckline definately too low as it traveled down between your breasts, the only thing holding it in place was the thin strip of material traveling behind your neck, and the slit was definitely too high. You felt exposed as you shifted on your feet trying to hold your breath. You watched Thor bow before walking down towards the bar. Looking around you bit your lip, the only reason you had agreed to come was because you knew Loki wouldn't be up here. "The vip section." You laughed to yourself seeing nat had rejoined wanda, Steve was laughing with bucky, the other agents you had seen on your floor mingling...they deserved to be here, they were heroes... they were beautiful and here you were, the ugly duckling among the swans. You looked down sucking in your stomach trying not to stretch the dress when a voice next to you made you jump.
"Well hello gorgeous, can I buy you a drink?" You turned your head seeing Matt, the agent who had the office next to yours smiling at you. "Oh...I have one, but thank you." You whispered watching his eyes travel down your body. "Hmm, well we could get out of here, I don't live too far." He winked smiling "um, no...thank you though." You offered a smile sipping your drink. "Women don't usually turn down a night with me, you sure you won't reconsider?" He asked again stepping into your space "t..thank you for the offer but yes I'm sure." You said taking a step back. Yes he was attractive, very much so but you barely knew him and there was no way you were gonna let him see you naked. You cleared your throat looking back out into the crowd when you heard him laugh "Ya know you clean up pretty nice, I was honestly surprised to see you had brushed your hair." He laughed sipping his drink. "I...um thanks?" You said looking down.
"you actually look kind of decent." He laughed again eyeing you. "Mm...it's like those movies where the ugly girl puts on a dress and makeup and suddenly she isn't AS ugly....that's what you remind me of." He said. You felt the familiar burning in your eyes, closing them as he went on "but you know what they say, put lipstick on a pig and it's still a pig." He laughed louder when a loud thump made your eyes shoot open, looking over seeing Matt pinned against the wall, Thor holding him by the throat "you will not to speak to her that way." Thor said sternly leaning down coming face to face with him "apologize...now." Thor growled as Matt's eyes widened. "I...I'm s...sorry." he choked out, his eyes not leaving the massive blonde "Thor...stop." you said grabbing his arm but there was no way you could make him budge when his eyes met yours, the anger that was there softening as he looked back at Matt
"you will never speak to her again, am I understood?" Thor said growled into Matt's face as he nodded "go, before I change my mind." Thor said tossing him to the floor watching him scurry away. "Thor?" You whispered when he turned back to you. "Are you alright my lady?" He asked stepping closer "yes, i...im ok. Thank you but you didn't have to do that." You said looking down. "He had no right to say those....horrible things to you y/n." He said as you shook your head "no he's...he was right, I don't belong here." You breathed looking up seeing Thor's eyes wide "what ever would make you think that?" He asked crossing his arms "don't play dumb Thor, you know as well as everyone else." You sighed looking out to everyone having fun
"they're strong, beautiful, they could take anyone in the room home with them." You said fidgeting with your glass "i...I'm not any of those things." You said feeling a tear slide down your cheek "i never will be, because no matter what I do I always be me...fat, ugly me." You sighed setting your drink down "I think im gonna head home for the night." You said looking to the floor as you walked around him "y/n, wait." He said grabbing your wrist "do you truly see yourself as such?" He asked making you laugh "it's what I've always been told. Even your brother has made it abundantly clear that I am...how did he put it...oh yes a clown that needed to join the circus." You said feeling a lump form in your throat "and you know the pathetic thing?" You asked finally looking up into his eyes "i...I love him...and I will never be good enough for him." You huffed a laugh remembering the day in the kitchen.
"Y/n, my brother is an idiot...a fool." Thor said taking a step closer to you. "You have to understand, when we were younger...on Asgard he had no shortage of attention, men and women would happily bend to his will, do anything he asked of them to be his...to be in his favor." Thor said looking down "and those who didn't he would break them down, make them feel less then to get what he wanted...regardless of how selfish it was." Thor continued, his hand sliding down to yours "and here...on Midgard it has been much the same, I was never lacking attention and i...I let it go to me head." Thor said looking up into your eyes "i?...what do you mean i?" You asked furrowing your eyebrows watching Thor shake his head "are you feeling ok Thor? Do you need to sit down?" You asked squeezing his hand "no! I'm not...i have wronged you, and how i treated you...." he snapped, trailing off looking around.
"Come with me." He said pulling you along behind him. Running to keep up with his long strides "Thor, where are we going?" You asked as he pulled you into a secluded corner away from everyone "if I didn't know better I'd think you were going to kill me." You laughed as he pressed your back against the wall "umm...Thor?" You stuttered when you saw him close his eyes, a green light washing over him when suddenly Loki was in his place "Loki!? What..." you were cut off by his hand gently covering your mouth "shh...I cannot be up here." He said lifting a finger to his lips. "I needed to speak with you and this was the only way." He whispered lowering his hand from your mouth
"what...why?" You whispered back as he placed his hands on your shoulders "y/n, is that truly where your feelings lie?" He asked, his hands slowly sliding down your bare arms "i...you...i know..." you trailed off, closing your eyes remembering what you just confessed to "thor" "Loki i..." He cut you off again by his finger pressed to your lips, his deep green eyes boring so deep into yours you were afraid they would consume you. You lifted your hand gently grabbing his wrist moving his hand "yes Loki...it was the truth." You whispered seeing tears well in his eyes. "I know you don't feel the same, I'm sorry I ruined our friendship its just...."
you were cut off again, all coherent thought leaving you as his lips pressing to yours, the hand you were holding reaching up to cup your cheek as the other slid around your side to your back pulling you closer to him. Gasping feeling his fingers touch the bare skin of your back when you felt his tongue slip between your parted lips, moaning into his mouth tasting the whiskey on lips as you returned the kiss, tilting your head as his hand slid to your hair holding you to him. The kiss was everything you had ever imagined and more. It was dominating and all consuming, and you never wanted it to end. Wrapping your arm around his middle you pressed yourself as close to him as you could, your nails digging into the back of his suit jacket when he pulled back slightly, nibbling your bottom lip as he pressed his forehead to yours, your breath mixing together as you tried to regain your composure.
"I...I owe you an apology y/n." He panted tightening his grip around your waist "I owe you so much more then that." He said lifting his head looking into your eyes "i...I don't understand Loki." You said searching his eyes for an answer. "Y/n, my sweet, beautiful little mortal i..." He trailed off looking down "I have never been the best at expressing my emotions, and in truth as a prince of Asgard i...i never took into account others feelings, i was selfish and took what i wanted however i wanted" He said looking back up at you "I know it is no excuse for how I have treated you, but after hearing that pathetic boy say those things to you." He growled "I see what I have done to you, how I've made you feel and I....I am ashamed of myself for everything I put you through." He said, a tear streaming down his cheek as he looked down again.
"The truth y/n is...that I love you, I have loved you for so long." He whispered "and I was afraid you would never feel the same for the would be invader of your realm, but I simply couldn't get enough of you...of your bright smile, your kindess, of your attentions, i craved it...so in my selfishness I teased and mocked, as I had done so many times before hoping to get even the slightest reaction...a smile, a snide remark...but I watched you slowly pull away from me, hiding yourself away in your office, the spark inside you slowly dying and i...y/n I can never apologize enough for my behavior." He said looking up, your heart breaking seeing the tears steaming down his cheeks. "D...do you think you could ever forgive me?" He asked, his voice shaking as his lip quivered. You lifted your hands, cupping his cheeks seeing his eyes close "Loki.." you whispered, your thumbs wiping the tears from his cheeks as he slowly opened his eyes.
"Please y/n, let me take you out...allow me to treat you as you deserve...to worship you as the goddess that you are." He whispered wrapping his fingers around your wrists. You smiled looking deeply into his eyes "all you had to do was ask." You said seeing him return the smile "oh my perfect, sweet y/n." He sighed gently placing a kiss on your lips before wrapping his arms around you pulling you to his chest, his large hand holding the back of your head as he rocked you back and forth. "I'm sorry...so so sorry." He whispered into your hair. "It's ok Loki, I forgive you." You said into his chest, squeezing his middle tightly. "What did I do to deserve you?" He asked kissing the top of your head.
"You made a mistake, but you learned from it." You said pulling back to look at him "and you apologized...who am I to hold a grudge?" You asked seeing him smile "you are truly an angel sent from the heavens." He said cupping your cheek "come, allow me to take you to dinner, where we can talk more privately." He said stepping back "ok, let me get my coat." You said as he wrapped his arm around your waist you walked through the room towards the exit, glancing over seeing nat you waved as she winked lifting her glass when you caught Loki mouthing something to her. "What did you say?" You asked as he smiled down at you "oh, I was thanking her." He said squeezing you tighter "for pointing out how much of an idiot I had been." He said grabbing the door holding it open for you "after you my angel." He said, making you blush as you walked past him, feeling his fingers twine with yours you squeezed, smiling to yourself and for the first time in a long time you had hope.....

Mysterio's new Trip
As Mysterio tumbled through the air, his mind raced with a whirlwind of emotions. Fear, anger, and frustration mixed together as he fell towards the unforgiving ground below. His grand plans had crumbled beneath him, shattered by the relentless determination of Spider-Man.
As Mysterio fell down in to the water, everything went black and the cold water hit him from the back, he let out a big grunt. It was so cold, it was really freezing. Mysterio thought to himself that if he survived this he would seek his revange on The Avengers. Mostly Spiderman, it was Spiderman that had ruined everything for him. Mysterio had the money, the fame, everything, even the girls and boys after him and that stupid kid had to ruin everything.
Mysterio could feel himself lifting up from the water and over the city, he could feel the coldness from the wind brushing against his wet cold skin.
" Hey, wake up, hello " Mysterio felt a kick, he was alive. He slowly opened his eyes and saw a man standing over him. The man was tall and not the most muscular man but probably could hit hard, the man was dressed in green, alot of green and had long black hair, in his and he was holding something that probably could be used as a weapon.
" So you're finally awake, thank god, I didn't know what I would do otherwise, throw you out in space " Mysterio didn't notice that he weren't on earth.
" Loki " Mysterio rolled his eyes when he saw that Loki was the one that had saved him. " Happy to see you too" Loki just laughed and started to walk around in the room.
" I saw you crash into the water, I did you a favour, atleast give me a thank you " Mysterio countined to roll his eyes. " So I heard you wanted to take down The Avengers, I can help you with that, but I need a favour back Ofcourse "
Mysterio was sceptical and started to think to himself, how could Loki help him?
" Ah, Mysterio, my dear friend. I require your unique talents for a little scheme of mine." Old friend? Mysterio looked at Loki with a stare.
Loki took his staff and started to swing it in the room the same time as he startes to chant something. A green haze started to full up the room, and Mysterio started to lose sign of Loki.
Mysterio felt a crack in his back and fell down on the ground. His legs started to grow muscles and and his boots started to torn up and his feets bust out. Mysterio's thighs started to grow to, a lot and his stomach formed a new set of abs, a hard and better sixpack, Mysterio was in shock and fasinated over this change, his ass got fuller too, it became big and bubbly. Mysterio's new arms started go get muscular and big and he started to feel his jaw get sharpened, his cheekbones got rounder and his eyes started to sting, his Hair came undone and started to bleach.
" Loki.. what are you doing to me "
" Let's get your new uniform.. Captain "
Loki showed me my new reflection, and I have to admit.. I looked good. I was so strong and handsome and tall, I was till before but now I'm even taller.
" So I can see that you like it, Captian " Loki looked at me and I smiled and told him him how much I liked it and that I was very greatful.
So what's the plan Loki, how am I going to take down The Avengers? I was walking around Loki's places to test the limits in Captains body.
" Leave that up to me, just follow and we will get what we want"
Suddenly I was the Green smoke again and Loki was gone.
" Thor and Captian.. I mean you and me are going to be good partners "

Saving BikerBucky Barnes x Reader
Warning: Abuse, violence, forced relationship, obsession, rude behavior, age gap, don’t worry she’s legal!
Summery: In a small town where everyone knows everybody,The leader of the biker Gang Bucky Barnes takes a certain interest in you.
The music pounded as you’re heels click on the floor carrying a tray of drinks to the booth, You were a cocktail waitress at a strip club, You have worked here for three years now, The dress code you still couldn’t stand, but you made big money working here so it was tolerable,
The outfit was tight black shorts where your ass almost spilled out, fishnet tights, a tight white button up blouse where your tits almost spilled out and black high heels,
It was very revealing and uncomfortable not your style outside of work, but it payed the bills, after your mother died when you were 10 and your dad being the drunk that he was, you had to grow up faster than most kids,
Taking responsibility for the house and expenses you got your first job when you were fifteen, at a small mom and pop store, a year later after the store closed down you were having a hard time finding another job you were desperate that’s when Thor the strip club owner offered you a job after hearing you plea with the small diner owner for a job, he over heard the conversation and offered you work,
He is a awesome boss, and always gave you extra hours when you asked even last minute when you didn’t feel like going home to your drunk father.
“Y/N!” You hear Peter the bartender yell over the music,
“Yes?” You asked
“Table three.” He says nodding towards the bunch of bikers,
You nodded walking towards them,
“Can I get you boys anything?” You asked
“Just six beers.” Bucky says
You nod, of course you knew him everyone did, he had a reputation but you were not scared of him, you had other fears, Your drunk of a father is what scared you, he would get drunk off his ass and would take all his anger out on you when you would get home, no sooner were you in the door you would get the shit beat out of you.
You shake your head grabbing the beers and taking them to the table setting each beer down in front of each biker,
“Thanks doll.” Bucky says
You nod looking down at your watch, knowing you can’t prolong going home any longer if you kill another hour Thor is bound to drag you home himself,
You make your way to the back room to get changed, in a pair of dark jeans, a white tank and a jean jacket, a pair of flats, You sigh closing your locker, grabbing your bag and walking out, milling your way past the crowd of people exiting the club and crossing the parking lot to your beat up 1994 blue beetle, It was your baby, you scrumped and saved for her, but some days you wish you would have gotten a new car because of all the repairs she needs all the time,
You unlock the car, Just as you hear a crowd of people leaving the club seeing the bikers, You get in your car starting her up and making your way home hoping he’s asleep and not out somewhere causing problems.
Bucky knew from the moment he saw you he wanted you he wanted to know you, when your green eyes met his, He was absolutely fascinated by you, and god the way your tits almost fell out of your uniform didn’t help his desire for you, He followed you with his gang watching you get in your car and drive off,
“She is a cute little thing isn’t she?” Sam says Bucky glares at him, yeah you were small if it wasn’t for the heels they made you look a little taller, but in Bucky’s mind you were already his girl,
You arrived home to find the house empty, a note on the fridge ‘Gone to Ikki’s don’t wait up’
Ikki’s was a small watering hole your father liked to frequent You looked at the clock it was already one in the morning, you sat in the chair as the clock approached two,
Sure your father beat the snot out of you but you worried about other people in his wake especially if he would drive drunk,
You got in your care driving to the small bar, as you parked the car you noticed all the motorcycles knowing there was gonna be bikers here too.
You sighed slamming the car door, you really didn’t have the energy or patience for this you were tired and just wanted to sleep, You walk into the bar noticing all the bikers each of them eyeing you knowing you were out of place, your eyes scanning the room finding your father at the end of the bar.
He was drunk, swaying at the bar, you walked over to him whispering in his ear,
“Come on dad I think you had enough.” You whisper
“No I haven’t who are you to tell me I’ve had enough.” He slurred as he stood,
You could feel eyes on you,
“Yes you have let me drive you home.” You say placing your hand on his shoulder
“Don’t fucking touch me!” He slurred as he shoved you, You barley moved since he was so drunk he lacked the strength
“Dad come on I don’t have time for this.” you sighed placing a hand on his shoulder and that quick he backhanded you,
“I told you not to fucking touch me.” He slurred he hit you so hard that you landed on the ground, that fast half of the bikers were on him.
“Get him the hell out of here.” You hear a familiar voice,
“Are you okay doll?” You hear you look up to see Bucky holding out a hand for you,
You nod taking his hand as he smiles down at you.

Loki having a crush on you headcanons:
Fem!Reader or GN!Reader TW: Very brief discussion of violence.
A/N: This will be Avenger!Loki cause I choose to be delusional about him dying in infinifty war. He made it to Earth and decided to make amends yadda yadda yadda, everything is good. Sorry if this long I needed to get all my thoughts out!🙇♀️
Being generally uninterested when Tony does a mission debrief with everyone in the conference room. However when you walk in he perks up a bit and sits up a little straighter. He doesn’t really greet you though, he’ll be a little closed off at first. That doesn’t stop him from glancing at you 2 or 3 times until the meeting is over.👀👀 No one really notices his staring but if they did they’d assume he doesn’t like you at first.
Among other people it looks more like a glare than admiration, Thor does notice after a few times and pulls him aside to confront him. “Has Y/N slighted you in some way brother? You’re always staring at them with such intensity.” This confuses Loki cause #1 he didn’t think anybody would notice and #2 Sometimes he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it.
“No?? It’s this midgardian decor, so bland. It helps to move my eyes around to keep things interesting. When it comes to Y/N their choice of garment is most amusing, the lack of proper coordination is quite hilarious.” (LIES!)Deflect, deflect, deflect. To Loki it’s better for people to think he doesn’t like you than to seem vulnerable, he’s still got some growing to do.
He won’t even realize that he likes you until much later. Once you get over the hump of him pretending not to like you, a beautiful friendship blooms. He hasn’t had a lot of people he’s gotten really close to other than Thor, his mother and Valkyrie. That’s one wall down, a couple more to go. As his friend you appreciate his witty comebacks and dry sense of humor. You confide in him for his many, many, mannnyy years of wisdom(he hates it when you call him old man wisdom). The fact that you choose to tell him your secrets and have such fun conversations makes things worse for him.
When you two talk together on the balcony of the avengers compound discussing team mates and funny things that have happened around the compound, he gets this warm feeling in his chest. Looking at you laughing at your own joke, you can barely get the words out. Any other person would look ridiculous but you, he can’t help but look at you with such fondness. After you’ve stopped laughing you see him looking at you with such joy in his eyes and a soft smile. “What” you question. He chuckles and looks down at his hands, “Nothing, it’s just- you’re lucky you became an avenger instead of an entertainer, your jokes might need work.”
He always saves you some food or a drink at Tony’s parties and other events, it’s always just a little bit but he just wants to make sure you don’t miss out. 💓
Loki always goes out of his way to keep you safe on missions, if you get overwhelmed by multiple enemies you see a flurry of green magic crackling around you and the enemies are all gone. You could even see a dagger fly past your head hitting a guy about to clobber you over the head. Natasha seems to notice the favoritism after a bomb goes off in a HYDRA facility, Loki uses his body to shield you from the blast. (She knows good and well he could’ve made a shield for all 3 of you😏.)
When both Natasha and Thor “gang up on him”(his words) about it he deflects again saying he’d do it for any of his friends you just so happened to be closer…so it’s not a big deal. They both smirk and give knowing looks to one another. Thor knows Loki better than anyone, he knows Loki values self-preservation more than anything and to do something so selfless even if he has changed a bit, he must really like you.
Thor just hugs him and says “I’m happy for you.” and Loki is like ???? Everyone seems to know about his crush except you and him. But when he finally realizes he likes you romantically it hits him like a freight train. Everything feels so new after that moment, he has an existential crisis lollll. He’s always been a charmer, a smooth talker, silver tongued. Now he gets a little more nervous talking to you, when he sees you his heart races. It scares him how much he likes you, you make him soft. He values your opinion, he worries about you, he wants to make sure you’re alright. The thing he’s worried about the most is if you’ll like him back.
Loki’s still got some self image issues, growing up second best and later finding out he’s a frost giant. In his mind his past and being a frost giant are perfectly good reasons to reject him. In the back of his mind there is a glimmer of hope stemming from your unwavering loyalty and kindness toward him. He can’t ask you to overlook the things he’s done but he does want to be better, for you, for everyone else.
Thanks for reading! Lemme know what you think. Please like or reblog if you like my stuff.

Hi could I request a fic with the avengers where the readers mom is very close with the avengers and she had the reader at 15 with the readers father who has been on and off absent and the reader doesn't see much of him and she was basically raised by the avengers theyre basically parental figures to her and have always been there for her when her dad finally shows up they threatened him because they're all overprotective mostly tony cause he sees the reader like his own daughter and he knows what it's like to grow up without a dad and the reader thanks him and hugs him and the rest of the avengers join in a group hug always reassuring her she isn't a mistake.
Six avengers and a Baby
Paring: avengers x Teen!Reader
A/n: sorry this is so late, I had zero idea of where I was gonna take this so I hope you don't mind is being HC and sorry it's so short.
A/n #2: request are closed so I can work on a twilight series I've started.
So your mother is close to the averagers due to the fact she went to college with pepper, they were best friends and she got your mom a job at the Compound so she could take care of you.
Due to her being a single mom she always took you to work with her. She had you at a very young age and your father was never around.
It didn't really matter to you because the avenger grew a soft spot for you and helped your mom Raise you.
I your opinion you learned way more for them than you do in school. They all care for you a lot and are extremely over protective.
Some small details about you and them are:
You and tony are the closest, he's always been like a father to you and has always got your back.
You and Bruce are about the same, you call him uncle Bruce and he's your go to dude when you need help with homework.
Steve is like a big brother. He's tougut you many things like how to treat people and helped you become the kind soul you are today.
Clint teaches you normal day-to-day things. You want to learn how to use a bow/arrow he'll teach you. He also has thought you how to change the oil and a tire on a car just incase you get stranded.
With Natasha you two had to warm up to each other. She loves you and all, but when you were little you were scared of her for no particular reason.
Thor is just your Best Friend, he always makes you laugh and knows how to brighten up your day. One time he lifted his Hammer with you so you would think you could do it when the others can't(you were five at the time)
Your scared of loki. Period.
But then one day your dad showed up and the avengers or your mom wasn't pleased.
“y/n is my daughter, my own”
“then where the hell were you when she got her tonsels taken out and was absolutely miserable for three days?” Bruce shouted.
“where were you when she started kindergarten or high school?” nat stated.
“you don't have the right to call yourself her father!” Tony shouted. “she's my kid”
When Your father left you immediately hugged Tony. He held you tight and wasn't planning to let go for a while. “your not a mistake.... Your a fucking mericle”
When the whole time came around and hugged you too you know you were home and this was your family.

In the darkness you said goodbye
Summary: Wanda makes a mistake, and she thinks she can tlak herself out of it.
Warnings: Cheating, F/M sex, bittersweet ending, Wanda is to blame.
Pairing: Reader/Wanda - Reader/Carol - Wanda/Vision
Author's note: This story is an experiment, mostly I want to see how it goes as a one shot, and second just want to see how it goes with Wanda. I hope you guys liked it, as always English is not my mother tongue so forgive me my grammar, spelling and funny mistakes.
Second part: In the light you love her
Winter was your favourite time of the year.
The snowflakes falling on the ground, and the sound of Christmas jingles around the streets was enough to put you on a good mood. It had been five years since Thanos was defeated it and the Blip was reversed changing the shape of the universe, the stories people told were now shaped for a past that defied everything they knew.
Midgard had certainly changed in the last years; new heroes were born and the old ones were ready to step aside and give way to the new generations. Your face lifted up to the Avengers Tower standing proudly in midtown Manhattan while the cold of the early afternoon surrounded you in a comforting embrace.
You smiled to yourself, music blasting through your ears while your hand closed around the small box you had worked your ass off to get for this special date. Your phone vibrated, the ringtone you attached to Natasha’s name breaking through the music and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes at the sudden interruption.
“Yes, mom?” The voice at the other end chuckled, and you allowed yourself a tender smile.
“I’m just making sure you’re okay, kiddo, no need to be a brat about it.”
“I am okay, more than okay, I’m super okay!”
“So, you’re nervous.” The older woman replied, and you gulped chewing on your lower lip.
“I am, I’m super nervous.” You confessed, the hand closing around the small box as you spoke. “Tasha, I love her, I…god when I lost her in the Blip, I almost lost myself to darkness…”
“I remember, Y/N, I know it was hard for you.” And Natasha remembered those dark times, you had always been an open gate to darkness.
The very nature of your species made it easier for your heart and soul to give into darkness, your powers were not only a manifestation of your mutation but also a warning sign of what you were capable of doing. But Natasha never gave up on you, and from the moment Thor brought you in and she took care of you, you became the woman Natasha knew you could be. Then, Thanos happened and Natasha could see for the very first-time what Thor and even Loki meant when they said that you were born out of pure blackness. You became unfeeling, careless, cold and almost cruel…
The moment you lost Wanda, on that battlefield watching her disappeared, that was the first time Natasha feared you.
You turned around destroying every single servant that Thanos had brought with him, your shadows covering Wakanda just before they perished in screams of pure agony. Darkness had covered you, and everything would have ended in disaster if Steve hadn’t knock you out; not many understood the deepness of your love for Wanda, but Natasha had been there to see the growing friendship, the affection and the tender moments stolen in between their teenage years.
Natasha had seen the relationship grow from afar, and she could tell you were far to in love with Wanda to not suffer with her lost. But even after you woke up, it wouldn’t be until everyone went looking for Thanos in space that you really broke.
Natasha still remembered when you crumbled to your feet after having destroyed an entire fleet of Chitahuri while looking for Thanos with Carol. How you cried until she put her arms around you, and you finally let go of the pain of losing the woman you loved with all your heart and might. You cried for days, and soon every surviving Avenger was afraid of losing you, of not being able to reach out to you. Natasha hated to see the suffering in your face, the whimpers leaving your lips as you tried to talk and explain that you were hurting so badly you didn’t know what to do.
It took time, but eventually you started recovering. Tony and Steve, as well as Carol and Rocket helped in the process. From them you learnt about your past, and your planet, they talked to you about your origins and your powers, and Natasha was happy to see you recover.
You became not only an Avenger, but also an amazing woman.
And now, after five years of having defeated Thanos and recovering the woman you had been in love since you were fifteen years old, it was just fair for you to have a happy ending.
“You have grown so much since I first met you, Y/N. Wanda is a lucky girl, you know?”
“Nah, I’m the lucky one, I just hope…I mean…” You stood by the gates of the Tower, trembling while cleaning up your sweaty hands. “We’ve been talking about having children and all, and I just… I don’t know if I’m a mom material but…”
“You are. You are, Y/N, now stop stalling and go get her, kiddo. I love you.” Natasha stated in that motherly tone you had come to love as well, you chuckled when you heard Yelena in the background and Natasha cursing in Russian.
“Okay, okay, don’t kill auntie Lena, and stop cursing. I call you when …. when I can.”
“Please have loud, sweaty sex with your soon to be fiancée, and call us when you finish!”
“Yelena!”
You chuckled shaking your head while hanging up.
The building was mostly empty, there was only one security guard that greet you with a polite smile and a mug of hot chocolate on his hands. You went past him into the elevators, your finger selecting the floor Tony had given to Wanda when he first finished the Avengers Tower.
You stood there hearing the music, your hands completely sweaty while your heart hammered hard against your chest. There was a deep void inside your stomach, and you couldn’t help but lifted your eyes to the numbers on the screen. You knew that day would be the day, today had been your last active day as a hero, and Tony had already hired you as normal everyday scientist in one of his investigational facilities. Wanda still thought you were in Kamar Taj with Strange and a girl that had shown to his doorstep, so tonight would be a great surprised that you hope would finally give you your happily ever after.
When Wanda came back, trying to build your relationship with her had been hard.
Wanda found it difficult to adapt herself to a life she was not used to, she found it hard to find out you had travelled around the galaxy being a hero with someone like Carol Danvers and Rocket. At first, you found it funny that Wanda was jealous of Carol, but then it was not only Carol but also your new house in Westview, or the bicycle you bought to go around the city. It was about your job at Stark’s Industries and your lack of interested in being a hero. Then it was you leaving your hero life behind and wanting to be normal, or to gather the new generation of heroes…
Your relationship with Wanda had been rocky, to say the last, after she came back.
But you had learnt that time and communication fixed everything, and after a while the both of you talked about what you really wanted. About your future, about your hopes…and you realized that Wanda wanted nothing more than a life with you. To build a family, and to be happy. She was finding it hard to do so, in a world that had moved on without her, and you made sure to let her know every day that your life had been nothing without her in it.
You smiled putting the ring from your pocket.
Now, finally you could close the last gap and asked Wanda to marry you. You had given up everything in your old life, to start your new life with Wanda.
“Okay, here we go…”
The door of the elevator open and you stepped inside the living room. The place was decorated with candles, and the sweet aroma of Wanda’s favourite perfume. You furrowed your brows, looking around the place you could see her back, and some of her things scattered around.
You walked down the halls, stopping dead on your tracks when your eyes fell upon something you did not recognize. It was a dark jacket. You looked around the scene, and then you caught the sounds. You felt dizzy, your body burning while your stomach dropped leaving a foul taste in your throat.
The hallway was dark, most of the doors were closed but the last one at the end of the hallway. Yellowish light came from it, and as you approached it you could tell it was the light coming from different candles. You were trembling, all of a sudden you felt cold and empty.
A heavy weight positioned above your shoulders, and your heart trembled at the sight before you.
Wanda was on the bed, sprawled and legs wide open with Vision on top of her. Both were naked, and Wanda was throwing her head back grabbing the bedsheets tightly, Vision was trusting inside her whispering in her ear.
Your eyesight blurred for a moment, but your presence went unnoticed and just as you came in, you left. You were staggering around the hallway until your knees gave up and you fell with a soft thud, tears rolling down your eyes and the ring you had made for Wanda fell to the floor.
A part of you, the darker part, ignited a fire inside you ready to scream and bring down the hole building with Wanda and Vision in it. You wanted to make them suffered, for them to experiment the sheer pain you were experimenting at the moment. But another part, the one you had gained with your family and friends simply told you to go.
And so, you did. Falling into the shadows you disappeared leaving behind the ring you had made to Wanda as promised to her, a commitment, and show of your love for her.
Later that same night, Wanda cringed shivering as she exited her room. She placed a hand on her face, shamed and self-disgust filling up her mind, just as she thought of the passion that Vision ignited in her. She knew she needed to put a stop to the affair with Vision; she knew that she had to do it soon if she really wanted to move forward with Y/N and actually started the family you two had talked about. But Wanda was afraid to do so, she was afraid of the consequences, of Vision not understanding, of anyone finding out…
Wanda was strolling down the hallway until her feet stepped on something hard on the floor. She furrowed her brows, and her expression soon changed as she realized it was a small box. At first she thought this was one of Vision’s attempts to get to her heart, but then Wanda felt her stomach dropped and her heart ached painfully in her chest.
Inside the box there was a ring.
And suddenly, Wanda realized how stupid she had been.
Wanda stood there, her eyes wide open filled with tears. She made her way to the door, but you were no longer there, the room was still dark and when she turned on the lights her gazed fell upon the dark box you had been carrying for almost five years.
“Wanda…” Vision said behind her, but Wanda couldn’t do or say anything at all, her eyes completely fixed on the ring you had brought to her.
It was a start.
A green start resembling a spiralling galaxy, the shank of the ring made of white gold.
Your name and hers written around it, the date you two said I love you to one another right beside them.
It was at moment that Wanda realized how stupid she had been.
_________________________________________
“You really have some nerve to come here, Wanda.” Natasha stood by the door glaring at the redhead, her arms crossed though she could sense Yelena getting her weapons ready.
“Natasha, I need to talk to her.” Wanda was on the verge of desperation.
For more than a month she had tried to reach out to you, to try and get to talk to you and explain herself. Wanda knew that whatever you had seen, whatever had happened, she would need to do more than explain what had happened. Why she did it. You were nowhere to be found, and everyone had closed their doors to Wanda who only got disgusted faces, and harsh words thrown at her.
She knew she was risking a lot by coming here, but it was her last chance.
“She doesn’t want to talk to you.” Natasha stated, her eyes glaring at Wanda. “Now, if you excuse me…”
“Natasha, please…” Wanda all but begged, she had tears in her eyes and it was quite evident she had not sleep in quite a while.
Natasha hesitated; she wondered if Wanda understood the gravity of her sin.
The former Black Widow almost went to the Tower to kill with her bare hands the red head. Y/N had come home, a scream of pure pain leaving her lips just as tears rolled down her cheeks. It took Natasha almost an hour to get Y/N to tell her what had happened, and she was so heartbroken she curled up on her bed and cried while holding a hand to her chest.
No one knew the reality of a broken heart.
How much it hurt, how it made your body cold and ached as if a thousand knives went through your every nerve. Y/N spent three days on her bed, ignoring everyone and everything around her. For a brief moment, Natasha had been afraid of the darkness growing in your eyes, day in and out seeing it covered your iris and expanding little by little.
“You broke her heart, Wanda.” Natasha stated through gritted teeth. “You broke her, and she loved you more than life itself. I can’t tell you just how much she loved you and how much you messed up…”
“I know! I know! I know!” Wanda screamed putting a hand on her face. “I know screwed up! I KNOW!”
Natasha seemed unfazed by the outburst, and Wanda broke in front of the former Widow pleading with her eyes.
“Please, I just need…”
“She is not here.” Natasha finally said.
“What?” Wanda winked confusedly; Natasha hesitated before speaking.
“She left two days ago.”
“Where? Why?” Wanda panicked, she glanced at Natasha then back at Yelena. “Where is she?”
“She left the planet; Loki came in and took her away.” This time around it was Yelena, the blond-haired woman smirked nastily at Wanda. “And we don’t know when she will be back, perhaps never, and if she is lucky, she may meet someone that won’t break her heart.”
Wanda stood there, lost and crushed by this news. Natasha hesitated for a moment, a part of her feeling this was not the best way to give the news. The woman stepped forward moving past Wanda.
“She is not coming back anytime soon, Wanda, so if I were you I would just let go.” Natasha turned to look at Wanda. “She waited for you, she almost lost herself for you, she was going to marry you…”
“I know! I just…god, this is so mess up!” Wanda wrapped her arms around herself. “I need to…I…I just…I need her…”
“You’re too late for that, Wanda.” Natasha then turned around and left.
Wanda stood there.
She was alone, lost and desperate, and without a single clue as to where you were or how to reach you out. Not a single way to talk to you, to explain to you…Wanda fell to her knees, her hand reaching out for the ring in her pocket. Tears rolling down her cheeks, and her mind a pool of confusing thoughts.
She would wait if it was necessary.
She knew that you were hurt, and she would wait for you to have a chance to explain herself to you.
And then, she would make sure to show you that Wanda was yours. That you held her heart in your hands.
It would be quite a while before she would see you again. But Wanda would wait, just the same way you did.
_________________________________________
Winter was back.
You lifted your eyes to the sky, closing your eyes while enjoying the feeling the cold on your face. Your ears twitched catching the sound of laughter inside the house, turning around you saw Kamala Khan squealing like a fangirl while hugging Carol tightly. You smirked at the sight, Carol was still getting used to such shows ow affection and Kamala was certainly someone without any limitations in her PDA.
“Y/N!! Oh, did you hear?? I will help you guys move!!!” Kamala went back inside her house screaming at the top of her lungs, “AMMI!”
“Move?” You asked raising a single eyebrow, Carol winced making her way to where you were standing.
“Well, I was thinking that perhaps I shouldn’t be moving around so much, and that staying on Earth is not such a bad thing, after all.” Carol shrugged looking away from you, her lip caught in her teeth with her mind filled with thoughts and possibilities.
Overthinking her every step as always.
“I think Monica is going to love it, Kamala is screaming her appreciation…”
“And you?” Carol asked this time around facing you with just a hint of uncertainty in her eyes. “You’re back again, what would you do?”
You had been away for two years, while you never stopped contacting Natasha and the others you had left earth with a single thing in mind. To heal. Your heart had been broken to pieces the moment you found about Wanda’s infidelity, you had cried and cursed and almost turned to darkness until you found yourself at the hands of Carol Danvers. For the second time, the woman took it upon herself to help you out, out of friendship she never thought she would get a chance with you; not after having heard of your story with Wanda and certainly not after she was back. Her odds didn’t improve one bit when she saw how heartbroken you were, Carol knew by then you needed a friend and that was what she offered you.
A friendship that, little by little turned into something else.
Still, there were times in which Carol doubt herself and the relationship she had forged with you.
You softened your featured, your arm wrapping around her waist putting her closer to you. She leaned in, nuzzling your neck before placing a soft kiss on your jaw looking for comfort. You smiled lowering your face until your lips met hers, the kiss was slow and sweet, and Carol smiled into the kiss.
“So, that’s an idea of what you want to do?”
“Ugh, gross.” Monica made a face while Kamala was looking at the scene with a glint of curiosity in her eyes.
“Okay, ladies, nothing to see here.” Carol tried to shush them away, but you wrapped your arms around her again, you turned her around and kissed her once more making Monica gaged and Kamala giggled nervously.
“Let’s give them a show, Danvers.” You mumbled in between kisses; she punched you lightly on the arm flustered stepping away from you before she decided to just follow your lead.
“Very well, I think it is time for me to go back to work but…” Monica turned to Carol wrapping her arms around her. “Please, Auntie Carol, tell me when you get there and don’t forget to keep an eye on the plane.”
“I won’t Captain trouble.” Carol said affectionately, Monica smiled sighing as she stepped back.
“Don’t be a stranger, Rambeau.” You gave her a hug, and the other woman glanced at you then back at Carol.
“You’re one to say, Natasha Romanoff is still waiting for you and you heard Fury…”
You winced fidgeting on your spot, you had heard Fury and Natasha was also waiting for you. You nodded scratching the back of your neck.
“I guess is inevitable.” You shrugged. “I will tell you all the gross details of these meetings.”
“I will wait for them anxiously, take care of Auntie Carol please.”
“I will, don’t worry.” You winked at Monica and stepped back to join Kamala and Carol inside the Khan’s family.
“Hey, are you okay?” Carol fixed your hair behind your ears, you nodded curtly pecking her nose.
“Yeah, let’s eat and then I will take you home, Captain Marvel.”
Earth had changed in the last two years she had been here.
The street were loudly, and the technology had certainly improved a lot. The stories were different now, most of them included the newest heroes in the cities, and the evilness lurking in the shadows. You enjoyed the soft purr of the bike you had bought in Jersey City, Carol had her arm wrapped around your abdomen leaning against your body while you drove down the streets of a city you had not seen in a long time.
Up until now, you had spent your time in the guest room at the Khan’s family home. You had tried to say no, but Ms. Khan was very adamant that they would not stay in a hotel or something equally dangerous. And Kamala was beyond excited to have them both in her home, at least until all the moving details had been arranged and soon they would be driving down to Luisiana.
To say you were nervous was an understatement, it didn’t mater you had spoken with Natasha almost every day since leaving earth. Or that you had been kept up to date with the gossip around the Avengers and the newest additions thanks to Yelena, it was the fact that this little party would include Wanda as a guest. Two years ago, you had left your home running away from your feelings, your heart had been broken and you never thought it would mend. And while it took some time to get it back together, to actually allow yourself to feel and fall in love again.
You had done so.
Carol had become your world, but this time around you were careful to not lost yourself into the relationship. Carol was not an easy person, and while the road to happiness had been a bumpy one, you wouldn’t change a single thing of how everything happened. Not if it meant that at the end of the day she would wake up with you beside her, a mug filled with coffee and a morning of meaningless talks watching the space in the window of a ship.
“Wow, I don’t remember this building being here on my last visit.” Carol stated getting off the motorcycle, she glanced up to the building then turning to you.
“I bet Tony made some arrangements.” You smiled turning to the main gates, your hand seeking out hers.
“Are you ready?” Carol inquired tilting her head, you nodded curtly and then without wasting any more time, you two entered the building.
There were many familiar faces, but soon you found yourself being wrapped in a tight hug by none other than Natasha. You softened your face and your arms wrapped around her pulling her close to you, Carol watched from a distance, her lisp curling into a gentle smile before she turned around and left for the bar. These moments were for you, and you had been waiting to come back and see the people you love, Carol could understand that much. With a heavy heart, and insecurities filling up her mind, the woman made her way to the bar never noticing the redhead glaring daggers at her back.
“You look so good, Y/N, did you cut your hair?” Natasha put you at arm’s length, her eyes twinkling while the examine you with care.
“Yeah, a little and well I have to be on top physical form to be in space, so…” You smiled sheepishly, Natasha chuckled placing a strand of hair behind your ear.
“How have you been?” Natasha finally asked and you just shrugged.
“Fine, I guess. I just come here due to a mishap of powers between Carol, Monica and a girl called Kamala.”
“So I heard, quite the adventure I guess.” Natasha then hit you on your arm.
“Hey!”
“So if it hadn’t been because of that you wouldn’t have come?” Natasha was a little hurt by this, you shook your head lowering your gaze before shrugging.
“No, of course not. I did have plans…” You stated and Natasha was about to speak but trailed off just as her eyes caught another person coming towards them. “I knew I have to come back, and I was dying to see you all, I was just… waiting…”
“You were waiting for what?” Wanda asked behind you, and she wait anxiously for you to turn around.
You thought the moment you heard her voice again, that you saw her again your resolution would crumble and that perhaps you would fall under her spell once more. One of your greatest gears included your weakness to perhaps leave behind your relationship with Wanda and moved forward. But this never happened, and soon after you started healing it was easier to move on. Now, after two years, you stood before her and you realized you had been scared for nothing.
Of course, your stomach dropped, your palms started sweating and your head fluttered in your chest when you saw her again. She was still as beautiful as you remembered her, her voice still carried with it such a powerful tinge, something you had always loved from her.
But something else had changed, the shivering in your heat came along with an old pain and rage that went through your senses. You clenched your fists closed, but remained impassive while Wanda offered a tentative smile.
“Hey.”
“Hi.”
Wanda chewed on her lower lip before speaking, “do you think we could talk?”
You glanced out of the corner of your eyes to see Natasha standing closed to you, Yelena had stopped talking with a brunette in a dark suit, and both of them were walking towards you. You then lifted your eyes and soon you found the eyes of Carol looking at you with curiosity, after a moment the other woman smiled and nodded in understanding.
“I think we need to talk, Wanda, lead the way.”
Two years ago, on a day such as this, you discovered the pain behind a betrayal.
You glanced at the sky, the snowflakes falling slowly down the streets, the breeze caressing your warm cheeks while you waited patiently for Wanda to speak. The other woman had changed as well, she looked thinner, and tired, her hair was longer and she seemed quiet and alone. Wanda turned her stare to you and you could see their love and regret and loneliness.
“Why didn’t you stay?” She asked, her voice breaking by the end of the question.
You raised a single eyebrow snorting while shaking your head.
“You really asking that?”
“The ring…You were there…” Wanda started and you winced remembering that day, the old pain coming back as you remembered how it felt.
“I could have killed you and Vision.” You stated looking away from her. “I was so mad, so heartbroken, Wanda…I knew if I had stayed or said something…well, it would have ended in a bloodbath.”
Wanda winced wrapping her arms around herself, “I just…god, I’m sorry. I just…I’m so sorry for everything, I never…”
“What, Wanda? You never what?” You asked harshly, Wanda stepped back lowering her face.
“I was afraid, and I wasn’t sure of what I wanted, okay? I came back and you were already all over me, and I really didn’t know what you were expecting of me, and he was just there listening to me and…”
“And I didn’t? Wanda I asked you, everyday I tried to make our communication to work!” You huffed rolling your eyes at the excuses. “What were you hoping for, Wanda? A child? A dick? What?”
Wanda had thought about it in the last two years, she thought about her reason and why she had entered into a senseless affair with Vision. The truth was she didn’t know exactly why, she always thought that you had everything resolved by the time she came back, you had five years to organise your life and made decision for the future whereas Wanda had been trapped in nothingness until she came back to face a world she didn’t recognize. Vision had been the only one who understood, the only one who let her talk and expressed the way she wanted to about the situation, and in the midst of those conversations Wanda fell into passion and desire to make her life and indecision more bearable.
“I was just hoping everything went back to normal, and that…I didn’t feel so lost.” Wanda mumbled knowing her words meant nothing to you at the moment.
You sighed shaking your head, “I guess it doesn’t matter now.”
“Y/N, I just…I…search for you.” Wanda mumbled, you nod curtly at her.
“I know.”
“I want to explain, to tell you that it meant thing.” Wanda stated lowly. “I wanted to tell you that I Lov…”
“Don’t.” You cut her off before she could continue. “Don’t say it, you don’t have any right to say to me anymore, Wanda.”
Wanda stepped forward, holding back her tears she made sure her eyes were locked with yours, her heart beating fast and her whole-body trembling.
“I love you.” Wanda said softly. “I’m still in love with you, and I just…”
“Can you hear yourself, Wanda? If you love me you wouldn’t have done…you would have come to me first! We would have talked about this, about us!” You exclaimed waving your arms around. “You wouldn’t have cheating on me just because you felt alone or misunderstood.”
“Y/N…” Wanda started but she cut off as soon as someone entered the balcony you two were in.
“Hey, baby, are you…Oh, sorry, I’ll be inside if you…” Carol interrupted glancing at you then at Wanda, before turning around and leaving.
Wanda clenched her jaw, turning to you eyes that flickered between red and green.
“So, you left two years and you have replaced me already?” Wanda asked bitterly, you snorted shaking your head.
“Nobody can replace you, Wanda. You will always be my first love.” You stated softly, your heart fluttering at the veracity of your words.
Wanda clenched her eyes close, you closed the distance between you and her standing right in front of her. Your eyes drifting for a moment to see the ring you wanted to give her on her left hand.
“Wanda I loved you with my whole heart, I thought you and I will be forever but after I saw you with Vision, I couldn’t take it.” You mumbled placing a hand on hers, Wanda shivered and she knew there was a finality in your tone.
When she imagined this meeting the outcome was different inside her head. She always thought you would come wanting to go back but not without some kind of request or penance so everything could back to normal. She never imagined the outcome of this would be for Wanda to experience the same broken heart you had experience two years ago.
“I didn’t want this to happen.” Wanda mumbled wrapping her arms around herself, you pressed you lips together stepping back a little. “I thought we…”
“Me too.” You replied.
Wanda was about to take the ring away, but you stopped her offering a bittersweet smile to her.
“I made it for you, so…it’s yours, Wanda.”
The other woman broke into a half smile, but she was looking just miserable, she caressed the ring and the tears fell down slowly.
“Are you…are you happy?” She finally asked, you scowled at that question.
“Are you?”
Wanda sighed looking away before nodding, “yeah, yeah I am.”
You pressed your lips together, lowering your eyes before looking at her.
“That’s good.”
The lie rolled out of her lips easily, and while it was quite evident you knew Wanda was lying neither one of you was about to say anything at all. Wanda put her arms around herself, she wanted to say something else, perhaps asked how long passed after you left for you to get together with Carol, or how exactly did you two ended up being a thing. But Wanda knew that wouldn’t help at all, if anything would make her bitter.
“I guess…you better go back, I…Carol must be waiting for you.” Wanda turned her back to you, her eyes to the city.
You stood behind her, your hand lifting to reach out to her.
For a brief moment, it seemed as if you were to look for her, perhaps to talk or say something, anything that might change your situation and hers. You thought the moment you went back to her, that perhaps the old flame would ignite and that you and Wanda could offer one another a second chance. You were afraid that perhaps what you felt for Carol was just…revenged, and just a sense to fill up a void left by the broken heart.
But it wasn’t like that.
And while a part of you would always love Wanda, she wasn’t the person you were in love with.
Carol was playing with her drink on corner far away from everyone else, she was looking gloomy while pursing her lips. You softened lightly, strolling directly towards her.
“Hey, Marv, why are you pouting?” You chuckled when she lifted her face towards you, her eyes going wide before she tried to play it off.
“I’m no pouting.”
“You certainly look like someone who is pouting.” You chuckled leaning in to peck her cheek.
“I’m no pouting, and what are you doing here? I thought you were still talking to Wanda…” Carol looked away trying to conceal her emotion, she didn’t want to look jealous or insecure, she was supposed to be stronger than this.
You leaned in wrapping your arms around her waist, “mm, I was but now I’m not and I think I want to go home, so…shall we leave?”
Carol narrowed her eyes at you, it took her a moment before she placed a hand on your cheek.
“Are you okay?” She asked, tilting your head slightly.
“I am.” You replied smiling softly.
“Did you two…clear things up?” Carol didn’t want to look eager, nor did she want to sound desperate. But she had always known the conversation with Wanda was something you needed to do.
It was a chapter of your life that was waiting to be closed.
“I did, we did.” You hesitated before continuing. “I realized that a part of me would always love Wanda, she was my first love.”
Carol nodded in understanding, her mind soon brought Maria to memory, and she could relate to what you were saying. She was observing you with care, your eyes gleaming lightly as they locked yours, and Carol felt her heart skipped a beat at the softness and love she found there.
“Then, I realized that you are the love of my life, Carol.” You said it so simply Carol felt her abdomen and her heart flutter, making her body tingle at the revelation. “I am in love you with you, and I can’t imagine anybody else I want to be with but you.”
You had heard before how many people stated Carol Danvers was a flat, unfeeling individual, that she was just too unemotional, and quite incapable of expressing emotion. You had discovered this was far from the truth, Carol was someone who felt too much and suffered in silence; she was just selective with the people she allowed in her life.
“I love you to, Y/N.” She mumbled just before closing the distance and kissing you softly.
“Mhm, I think we better go.” You said smiling goofily at her, “wait until we tell Kamala where we were.”
“Oh, no please, she is going to start arguing with us because we didn’t bring her over.”
“Don’t worry, I have it covered, I ask everyone for their signature.” You replied showing a small notebook you had stolen from Kamala’s room. “I think with this we are forgiven.”
“My hero.” Carol stated rolling her eyes, you winked at her before grabbing her hand and dragging her around the room to say goodbye.
Wanda watched from a distance as you and Carol said goodbye, your face never lost the brightness brough by your smile and your hand never left that of Carol who was following you with tenderness and love all around the room. The young witch knew she had messed up her chances with you, she knew the moment she saw you entered the Avenger’s Tower that what would happen that day would be a final conversation more than anything. Wanda felt her heart break to pieces, her eyes filling up with tears as she finally realized she was alone.
She had tried to cover her mistakes, and her emotions with a meaningless night of passion that had costed her happiness.
Now, as you entered the lift with a laughing Carol by your side, she realized that you had said goodbye to her a long time ago.
That day Wanda had broken your heart while hidden in the shadows.

┏(‘▀_▀’)ノ hear me out. Thor being Odin’s heir, Hades and Poseidon being king after seeing their wife reader being close with children and seeing how a perfect mother she would be e*trigger’s* their instincts about wanting to have a family with her. Thank you! *triggers
Hmm I couldn’t tell if you wanted this to be spicy or not~ so I’ll just make it a little spicy!
-“Miss Y/N- this way-this way!!” your husband looked up, sitting in the gardens of your lovely home together, reading over some paperwork while he sat on the patio at the tea table.
-A group of children that came over often to see you as you would read to them were surrounding you, two holding you by your hands, pulling you towards the large fountain your husband recently surprised you with.
-Your garden was your happy place, filled with plants and flowers, and he completed it with a new fountain, which you loved, but the children hadn’t seen it yet.
-Your soft giggles filled his ears as he looked over, seeing how gently you were smiling with the children, and something stirred in his heart, making his eyes widen only slightly.
-His paperwork lay forgotten as he chose to watch you instead, enjoying the fluttering of this new, unusual feeling in his heart, one that seemed to be growing stronger.
-When the children ran off, you waving them off, only then did he stand and approach you, embracing you from behind, resting his head on your shoulder.
-You were a bit surprised by his affection, but you didn’t dislike it, a smile appearing on your lips as a hand lifted to cup his cheek gently.
-He pressed a kiss into the palm of your hand before his arms lowered to your stomach, hugging you back into him.
-Thor- He lifted his head to press a soft kiss into your neck, making you squeak softly before he spoke, “Will you… will you make me a father?” his question stunned you and you quickly turned, your eyes wide in shock, but his worry quickly melted as you leapt into his arms, a screechy squeal leaving you which made him chuckle before he carried you inside. You panicked only slightly, “Wait- now?!” he pinned you to your large shared bed, his eyes focused, “Yes- now.” Color quickly took over your face as he was quick to descend, his hand coming to the top of your dress, pulling it down, not caring that it shredded as his lips went to your neck again, sucking dark colored patches into your skin, pulling moans from your sweet lips. The more he thought about you being swollen with his child, the harder he seemed to become, and the harder he went on you.
-Hades- Hades pulled away and took your hand, guiding you back to the house, grabbing his paperwork on the way just to slap it down on the dining room table, pulling you towards the bedroom. You were confused until you made it to the bedroom, and he instantly had you pinned to the door, his lips on your neck and collar, kissing and sucking. Your soft mewls of pleasure drove him mad as you were curious where this sudden mood came from, as your fingers wound in his hair, tugging softly. He pulled back, eyes blown dark with pleasure as he licked his lips, meeting your own eyes, “Will you give me a child?” a sharp, surprised gasp escaped you, stunned by his question before elation spread across your face, “Really?!” your voice had gone up in pitch, excited and he couldn’t help but chuckle before kissing you deeply, forcing his leg between your own, forcing your legs apart, “Really.”
-Poseidon- You only had a moment of peace, basking in your husband’s embrace, before he had you in his arms princess style, carrying you inside. Your arms wound around his shoulders, surprised by his actions as you inquired with him about his mood change and you froze, seeing the lust, the want in his eyes. He had you instantly pinned to your shared bed, one hand pinning yours down as he licked his lips, seeing you in such a way, “Will my queen give her king an heir?” your eyes went huge at his question, mouth gaping before you instantly smiled, “Yes!!” he was quick to pounce, your answer driving him even more as he was quick to tear your dress from your body, almost as if he would go insane if this didn’t happen right now! He licked his lips as your hands gripped at his biceps, moaning softly from his rough treatment, “You’re not getting out of this bed until you’re pregnant!” you had to question, just for a moment, if he was truly serious, but chose to think about it later~

Heyyyyyy, could you pls do hc about Thor, Loki, Poseidon and Apollo from Record of Ragnarok with a human lover that is a virgin? It doesn't have to be nsfw just how they would react to the news, would they like it or even care? Thanks ❤️
Sure thing🤭🤭
Warnings : slight nsfw?
Characters : Thor, Apollo, Loki, Poseidon
NOTE : maybe ooc? Idk💔
•°•°Inexperienced?°•°•
----- -----
Thor
- What?
- He'd stare at you so blankly, which would make you feel like you just chugged down 6 beers and babbled nonsense to him. That's the type of look he gave you.
- I don't really think he'd care either way. Sexual intercourse is just another way of growing closer to your partner, so why does it matter? Everyone does it.
- Well, maybe he does kind of care about it. Because it's you. He plans to stay with you forever, so I guess it does play an important role in your relationship together.
- That makes him a bit happy, actually. It means you both get to participate in something new, and experience it together.
- After all, that's the nice feeling people get when they couple up with their spouse.
-its kind of like leveling up to him. When he works hard to achieve something and gets to level himself up even more.
- He doesn't need much experience to know how to please you well. So don't worry. That body isn't just for show, you know.
---------------------------
Apollo
- Aww..that's so cute.
- Jokes aside, it's funny. To him, not you.
- He finds it so adorable, seeing you look so shy and all while admitting to him that you've never experienced it before.
"Aww, it's your first time, darling? You are so adorable!"
- Oh it makes him just want to pin you down and love you with all his might. He can't help it, you talk about it like it's the most special thing to you. He's very happy that he gets to be your first. (First and last, to be exact. He's not letting you go.)
- He's already had his fair share of fun, which most definitely means he's experienced. It doesn't even need more than a trick or two to get anyone crazy for him.
- And since you're his main lover, you should count yourself very lucky to be able to experience something so good with someone like him.
- What makes things all the more better for him is that it meant he could surprise you, and show you just how good he is.
- He couldn't wait to go gentle and slow with you, before revealing how far he can bring you to the stars with his skills.
- Oh, expect there to be lots of praise afterwards. Whether you did good or bad, he still makes you feel better.
---------------------------
Loki
- Would probably laugh in your face without shame.
- He'll make you feel worse by asking you stupid things like:
"You haven't had your first time yet? That's a surprise! I thought everyone has had their first time already!! Your so far behind!"
- Okay, that kind of ruined the mood. And when you don't respond, he just smiles at you going like "Aww, c'mon, I was just having some fun! It's okay to be shy~"
- Atleast he's good at what he does. He really did please you well enough to ignore his jerk-ish(?) behavior from earlier.
- Keep in mind though, he's gonna be very talkative after it. Don't even think you can get away from him with rest, cause he's right beside you yapping his mouth off, asking you if you liked it.
- He's alright, overall.
---------------------------
Poseidon
The man youve been waiting for.
- Does it really matter?
-He doesn't care much. like Thor, he believes it's just one of many ways for couples to get closer to eachother. Just another thing they face together as part of their relationship.
- But, his mindset would slowly begin to change when he notices the expression on your face. How shy you are about it, asking him to be understanding since it's still your first time.
- You talk about it like it's the most fragile thing in the planet. Is it really that big of a deal?
- He's gotten so used to seeing affairs left and right. People barely showing any loyalty to who they've settled down with. Though, it is to be expected, there's nothing surprising about it. That's just how it works.
- He'd probably be quiet for a few moments, you thought he'd atleast show a bit of kindness, but no.
"Its not that big of a deal."
- Okay, maybe he was a bit of a jerk there, and he was well aware after seeing how those words took a toll on you.
- It made him feel a tad bit guilty. You were his spouse after all. If he learned a thing or two from Apollo, it's to never ruin the mood when it had already started building.
- Don't worry, he'll make up for it. He can make you forget those harsh words he's said. Since your virginity is something special, and he's the one who gets to take it. He's not entirely a jerk, okay? He still loves you well enough to understand your feelings.

I Saw the TV Glow - and I wept. Here's why.
Coming out is scary. There's a million reasons why but the one I want to talk about is the self doubt.
What if I'm wrong? What if it's not true? What if I go through the frightening, worrying steps I have to take to live my most authentic life and it just gets worse?
I Saw the TV Glow asks another question: what if you're right? And what if that fear didn't go away? And what if it was worth it anyway?
(for the sake of this review, I will be referring to the main characters as Owen and Maddy, and using he/him and she/her pronouns respectively, as that is how they are presented in the movie, no matter the subtext. Or just straight text)
Owen (Justice Smith) is a lonely, shy, awkward boy living in the suburbs to an ill mother and an unwelcoming father. He connects with Maddy (Brigette Lundy-Paine), a lonely, shy, awkward girl living with an uncaring mother and an abusive father, over The Pink Opaque, a TV show about two psychic girls, Isabel (Helena Howard) and Tara (Lindsey Jordan) fighting evil. As they grow up and their lives drift apart and together again, the lines between reality and The Pink Opaque start to blur, and Owen and Maddy realise they may have more in common with Isabel and Tara than they realised.
I first watched this movie in a group on a TV connected to a laptop with a bunch of other trans people. The small screen felt appropriate, with the early 2000s VHS aesthetic and imagery, somehow watching something modern and slightly more retro at the same time, like we really were streaming The Pink Opaque, but the real one, not the terrible version Owen discovers later. Describing things from my own childhood as retro feels a bit strange, but life moves on, whether you really live it or not. Maybe we should have watched it on a CRT TV for the full effect.
Regardless, after it was done, there was discussion, but mostly there was silence as we processed what we'd watched and dried our tears. I think I cried more than anyone else. That's not a comment about how it connected with me more than anyone else. I just cry a lot at movies now. Thank you, estrogen.
The second time I watched it it was in a cinema. The movie got a very limited cinema run in my home country and there was only one day to go and see it. I didn't think I could emotionally handle watching it alone, so I invited a few friends. In the end, only one friend was able to come see it with me. That friend is not transgender.
After the movie I stood outside smoking a cigarette and bouncing up and down talking about all the details I had missed the first time, the aspect ratio changes, some of the callbacks that were more obvious second time around, but mostly I ranted about things I had already experienced the first time I saw the movie because it still sat with me.
Somewhat ironically, and maybe slightly perversely, I described how I felt by using a moment from a Marvel movie. I talked to my friend about Maddy and Owen speaking about years moving like seconds, your life going by without you even noticing, like scenes are being skipped. And then you're older, and then you're a year older, and another year, and you barely notice because it's like you're watching it play out on a screen. You can't feel anything because you feel hollow, like someone has dug out your insides and it's all just a dream you can't wake up from. Despite the hollowness and the numbness, you can't breathe.
And I told my friend it was like that moment in Thor: Ragnarok where the Hulk smashes Thor against the ground in a callback to when Hulk did that to Loki in The Avengers. Loki in the crowds stands up and points and shouts "that's how that feels!". Because yes. That's how that feels.
That's how it feels to watch your life go by because you somehow can't bring yourself to care. As if the life isn't yours. As if there's another life you should be living, but it's not there. Or, rather, it is there, but saying it out loud, admitting it to yourself sounds silly. Crazy, even. There's another life I should be living? My memories of being myself are all mixed up with my memories of being somebody else? That's ridiculous. I am myself. I have a life.
I'm not somebody else. I'm not a character I grew up connecting to and relating to. There is no other life waiting for me. I'm myself. I'm not someone else. I'm not a girl.
It doesn't matter that my life doesn't feel my own. It doesn't matter that I wish I was someone else. It doesn't matter that I wish I was beautiful and powerful and very far away. It doesn't matter that I found something, a piece of media that describes being different, and I clung to it like a lifeline. It doesn't matter that the person I connected to through that media did what I'm afraid to and was better for it. It doesn't matter that I can't breathe.
That's how it feels to live in the Midnight Realm. That's also how gender dysphoria feels. At least, that's how it felt to me.
"It was time I became a man."
Owen's line here is one of the two moments in the movie that makes me cry the hardest. I cried a lot, but I really cry there. The denial, the doubling down on the life you hate, that you can't connect with, but that you stick with because that other life you want or have been promised just seems too scary to strive for. Like Isabel in The Pink Opaque, he's afraid of what's inside him, and that fear keeps him away from his life and pushes him towards a life that doesn't suit him, that never suited him, but that he feels he has to live. A life as a real man.
I cried because the denial was heartbreaking and tragic. And very familiar. I was 16 when I learned what the word "transgender" meant, and that being that was something people could do. I didn't come out until I was 21, because it felt scary. I'd know. I'd be more certain. I'm not certain, and what if I'm wrong?
I'm 28 as I write this, and I've never been more certain. But I look back at myself, 10 years ago, and think what if nothing had changed. What if I hadn't taken those steps. What if I hadn't had the support I did and what if nobody had held my hand through that first step. What if nobody had given me the permission to come out and realise that I never needed permission?
Maddy tries to be that hand for Owen, but he's too scared. And that's familiar too. The first time I watched the movie I thought it was odd that Maddy tries to convince Owen to join her in The Pink Opaque, but she shows no joy in it. She doesn't describe how liberating it was to live her own life finally. She just describes the trauma it took to get there. But on my second watch I understood better. Because she had to return to the awful life that wasn't hers. Show how terrible this life is, how it isn't Owen's, how he can be that girl he briefly pretended to be when he wore Isabel's magic dress. The magic is that it's not pretend. This is who you could be.
The gentleness of the way Maddy interacts with Owen in every scene stands out to me. From drawing the tattoo on his neck, to never forcing him to come to terms with himself the way she did. It's not something she can force him into. He has to come to that conclusion himself. The scene where he tries on the dress and her reaction is very important to me. Seeing who he really is before even he does. The fact that the movie has gone out of its way to inform us that she is a lesbian is important, as it informs how she sees him. As a girl. Not as Isabel. Not as part of The Pink Opaque. Not as someone trapped in the Midnight Realm. A girl, first and foremost.
This is reinforced by the way Maddy reappears years after disappearing with shorter hair and wearing a shirt. Whether or not the character has made a change to her gender identity, we don't know, but she's found her truer self and wants to help Owen do the same.
The constant framing of Owen in pink hues, the way the aspect ratio changes between reality and the TV show and eventually starts presenting The Pink Opaque in the real aspect ratio, tell us who Owen is and who he is afraid to be.
If I'm harping on the same point. it's because that's what the movie is, a character piece about what if you didn't transition. What if you didn't take that step, and it takes great pains to show what it feels to be unfulfilled and watch your life go by without ever burying yourself, burying your old life, and rising into your new one as the person you should be.
Which brings me to the other line in the movie that makes me cry more than any other. A simple shot of a street with graffiti in the road, spelling out the ultimate message of Owen's character arc and the movie as a whole:
"There is still time."
There really is no time limit. There is time to learn how to breathe. To be yourself. I came out at 21, but I know plenty of people who came out later. The longer you have a life, the more difficult it is to let it go, and yet I don't know a single person who isn't happier having found a life as their more authentic self. It is always worth it.
That's what the ending is about, to me at least. I've heard people say it's bleak, that it ends suddenly without providing resolution on either the plot, or the allegory that the plot is about, but I disagree. Owen realises that Maddy was right. He gets the permission he's been waiting for for the last 20 years. His apologising for existing afterwards is more realistic than anything else - he's still himself. But he knows where his life should be. He knows to go and join his friend in The Pink Opaque. He knows how to breathe again.
Was Maddy right? Were they in the Midnight Realm the whole time? Was it all just a plot from Mr Melancholy? Were all the people in their lives just there to keep them there and keep them down? Was The Pink Opaque more than a TV show?
I don't care. That's not the part of the movie that moves me. That's just the vehicle through which the movie delivers what it's trying to say.
I describe the first steps of transitioning as a rabbit hole. It's dark, it's cramped, it's difficult to move and it seems like it goes on forever. Going down there in the first place is scary. Seems like a bad idea. What if it leads nowhere? What if it leads deeper? I have a sky that I can see here, and that's fine. My life has places it can go.
It's only after you come out the other side of the rabbit hole that you realise that what you've been seeing when you look up your whole life is the roof of a cave, and that the world is so much larger, and the air is so much crisper than you ever knew. You can move. You can breathe. You can see. The cave is comfortable when you don't know anything else, and the path out is terrifying. But the first time you see the sky, you know that you're never going back.
I cried the first time I saw the sky. And I cry when Owen sees the sky too.

The Heiress and the Lady of the House (part 3)
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
A/N: I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out where I want this story to go. I think I have an idea now. I have also decided to switch to first person, I find it way easier to write that way and hopefully you all find it easier to read. I am going to switch over the other parts as well. We even have two new characters to join the fun!
word count: 3k
warnings/tags: fem!reader, original characters, usual shenanigans, mentions of hetty/trevor
End of November- end of month 1
Hetty's been avoiding me. It's been two weeks since we danced and kissed, and she hasn't spoken a word. Now she'll barely look at me, and if she does it's like she sees straight through me. I notice her hang around Trevor more. Whilst at first, I thought it was Hetty being her usual cryptic self, I notice that her touches on him linger more than she usually does. Recently, thought I saw Trevor checking her out. Yet again it’s Trevor he checks every girl within the Woodstone property line out, so I’m not sure I can look into that entirely.
“What is wrong, you have long face like horse,” Thor asks.
“Oh nothing, just silly girl stuff,” I say
“Would you like to talk about it? Thor really good at listening and giving advice. If you have enemy, I show you how to crush skull. Very easy,”
“She’s not having enemy trouble, she’s having love trouble.” Sass interrupts
“Shush!” I say hoping he lowers his voice.
“Am I wrong?” Sass says with a know-it-all all smirk.
My lack of answer causes his smirk to grow into a smile.
“I appreciate the concern, but I feel like I should talk to Het-” I catch myself, “I should talk to the person who is giving me a long face before I go sharing my feelings,”
“Nice save,” Sass says before leaving with Thor. I groan inwardly.
I don’t have much time in the day to talk to Hetty as I'm constantly tied up with guests. The upcoming holidays have brought a larger amount than what I had initially thought, so I feel like I’m being pulled in hundreds of directions. I barely have time to spend with the ghosts, let alone any time to myself. Thankfully Sam and Jay had the insight to allow me to hire a little holiday help. A couple of friends from university have been wanting to meet up with each other, so I offered them seasonal positions. It’s like killing two birds with one stone. Before they arrive, I sit the ghosts down to tell them of the upcoming changes.
“Everyone I want to let you know that I will have a couple of friends helping me to keep this place running. They do know that I can see ghosts, and they as of recently know about you. They will only be here until after the New Year, then it’ll be just us all over again,” I explain, “My friend Nadine is going to stay with me in my room while my friend Riley will be staying at my house. This way we don’t lose any rooms, and I do not have to have any shenanigans from trying to bunk you people up. Nadine is a chef, so she’ll help me with the cooking. Riley is my jack of all trades so he’ll do anything I ask.”
The ghosts nod their heads in agreement and simply go about to milling around as they usually do.
“y/n can we help with decorations? Now that we have you around, we can help get the house all festive since we can touch things!” Flower suggests.
“I love it! That’s a great idea Flower!” I say.
“What is?” Flower questions
Oh, Flower. “Alright, I should have expected that,” I say before going off to the basement.
Soon the ghosts and I begin to bring out the holiday decorations. Instead of putting up a commercial tree, Thor and I went out to the forest to cut down a pine on the property and brought it back to the house. Pete and Trevor string the lights while Flower begins to sort through the ornaments under the guidance of Sass. Alberta and Isaac string together the popcorn garland, and Hetty oversees the entire operation.
“Aren’t you going to help Hetty?” Isaac asks
“As Lady of the House, I am helping! By supervising,” Hetty says nose slightly in the air
The front door chimes before a familiar voice yells out “Hello!”
I gasp, quickly leaving my post at the popcorn bowl to go to the lobby.
“Nadine! Riley!” I practically squeal.
I first run to Nadine, we exchange kisses on the cheek before embracing in a hug. Then I go to Riley who picks me up and spins me with ease.
“Oh, it’s been too long!” He says squeezing me in his arms.
“Alright, you can put me down, stronghold,” I laugh as he places me back down on my feet. As he puts me down, I happen to look in the direction of the room I just left. I see the ghosts peering their heads around the corner like children before quickly going back into the room. The only one who does not move positions and stands in full view is Hetty with an unreadable expression. I assume it’s Hetty being curious, and I shoot her a wink before I take Nadine and Riley into the kitchen.
“How have you been since graduation?” Nadine asks while she and Riley sit at the table
“The same, honestly just trying to find my place in the world. Now that I’ve become a heiress, I feel as if I’ve been operating on autopilot,” I reply. I grab a snack tray from the fridge before making my way to them
“Yeah, how come you never knew your grandmother was super loaded?” Riley questions before popping a grape in his mouth.
“Honestly, we never talked about it. She always made sure I knew the importance of hard work probably so when I became an heiress I wouldn’t act like an entitled one. My parents said they saved for me to go to any school I chose. The money I received from their death went to an account I only used to pay for my car and rent. Now I work to keep myself busy, and this isn’t bad gig. I have 8 forms of entertainment plus guests to keep me busy ” I say
“Speaking of 8 forms of entertainment, what about that ghost you said was cute,” Nadine asks.
“Can you keep your voice down? They’re dead, but they hear everything. They would never let me live that down if they found out,” I say feeling a blush on my cheeks.
“Have you told them how you can see them yet?” Riley asks.
“I haven’t spoken to anyone about it, besides my two trusted friends,” I say referring to them.
“They don’t ask questions?” Nadine questions
“Oh they are plenty curious, but I tend to avoid the subject as much as I can. We just figured out that I can do more than see them. Anything I touch, they can also touch,” I tell them.
“Oh, so they can eat and drink now?” Riley asks now sitting up in his seat.
“Not necessarily. We tried that, and it ended with a lot of food ending up on the floor,” I say remembering the memory of Sass trying to eat pizza and failing miserably.
“I guess you can say it goes straight through them,” Riley says knocking his head back in laughter. Nadine and I look at each other and roll our eyes.
“Oh come on guys, that was funny!” Riley says trying to get us on his side.
“Sure it was,” Nadine mocks.
“But back to before, how is it exactly that you can see them? We know that you had that drowning incident, but that doesn’t really explain how you can see them,”
“Well, it’s not like exactly read up on it. I just know that I had a near-death experience, and I guess since I was in between two worlds, I can see both sides,”
“Yeah, but you’re saying only the ghosts have powers. Your boss Sam sees ghosts, but she doesn’t have a power,”
“She was only clinically dead for 3 minutes. I had a full-blown Meredith Grey incident, and I was dead for a while,” I say.
“Well “Meredith Grey” maybe a part of you is still trapped on the other side, you never fully returned,” Nadine says
“I don’t know Nadine, like I said I don’t really read up on it. I just accepted that it happened. In fact this is the longest I’ve talked about the incident outside of therapy,”
“Sorry, we don’t mean to push,” Riley says putting his hand on mine
“No, I understand, I would be curious too,” I say turning my hand over and giving her hand a squeeze.
“Are any of them in the room now?” Nadine asks looking around for a sign of them
“No, in fact, I don’t hear them either. Let me check that they haven’t fallen in some hole or have been ghost-napped again,”
“Again?” Riley asks.
“Long story,” I say getting up from the table.
I turn the corner exiting to be met with 6 guilty faces. It’s like watching children getting their hands caught in the cookie jar.
“Oh, this is the kitchen guys, not the living room. Onward men…and women,” Isaac says as they hurriedly leave.
“I thought we were going to the kitchen to eavesdrop on the living to see if we could get any hot gossip,” Flower says before Alberta drags her along with the rest of the group.
“They were eavesdropping weren’t they?” Nadine asks.
“Oh most definitely,” I say chuckling to myself.
“Were they all there?” Riley asks.
“Most of them, Trevor and Hetty were missing, but they tend to go off a lot more often as of late,” I reply walking back to the table.
Riley and Nadine share a quick look before quickly returning their gaze to me.
“How about I give y’all a tour?” I ask.
Beginning of December - month 2
I turn the corner to go towards the lobby, and I almost trip over a left-out decorations box. Before I fall to the floor, Riley is there to catch me. Thor was right, I really need to watch my step around here.
“Watch it, Princess, would hate to break the merchandise,” Riley laughs as he steadies me on my feet.
“Oh, you two get a room already!” Nadine teases from the top of the stairs having seen the scene from the top of the stairs. She descends the stairs and goes out the front door. No doubt going on her morning run.
“Oh my knight in shining armor, you couldn’t afford me if you tried. I’m quite expensive with the most expensive tastes,” I tease back.
“Oh you wish,” Riley says picking the box and taking it to the basement.
I roll my eyes. “Oh, I most definitely do. I’d take a night with those muscles any day,” I say before he’s out of earshot. I turn back to my task, and I see Hetty.
“Hey Hetty,” I say giving her a smile.
“What is the relationship between you and this Riley?” Hetty asks looking me in my eyes.
“Um friendly? I guess,” I say raising an eyebrow in confusion.
“You guess?” Hetty’s eyebrow also raises in question. I try not to focus on the warm feeling I get when she looks at me like that.
“Riley and I are just friends, and we have been since my freshman year of university,” I tell her.
“So you recently saying you "wouldn’t mind a night with those muscles" meant nothing? ” Hetty questions
“Meant nothing,” I assure Hetty.
Hetty purses her lips, pondering my answer. She lets out a “hmph” before going on her way.
“Hetty?” I ask before she leaves completely
“Sorry, I have to meet with Trevor,” Hetty says without missing a beat
“Oh, I was going to ask if you wanted to go for a walk. The guests don’t check in for another couple of hours and-” I begin.
“Sorry dear, I simply must go,” Hetty says before trotting off.
I try to ignore the burn in my throat. I shake my head at the feeling of loss and jealousy.
I try to keep my mind focused on the guests and running the B&B as efficiently as I can. “No use crying over spilled milk,” I tell myself.
Riley, Nadine, and I work quite well together. Riley is a great fit at the front desk charming the guests as they check in. Nadine has been a great help in the kitchen, she always seems to know exactly what it is that I need. I dip my tasting spoon into a new pasta sauce recipe I’ve been wanting to try.
“How does it taste?” Nadine asks
“It’s fine, I think I’m missing something,” I say.
“Here let me taste,” Nadine says. I hand her the tasting spoon.
“Taste like you need just a pinch more garlic and maybe a dash more of the red wine,” Nadine says handing the spoon back to me
I do as she suggests, and I moan in delight as I taste the now-perfected sauce.
“Oh this should be bottled,” I say.
“The heiress is going to start a sauce company? What will Ragu do?” Nadine laughs as she finishes dipping the dessert fruit in chocolate.
“You want some of the leftover chocolate?” Nadine asks dipping her finger into the bowl.
“Is the sky blue?” I ask turning my sauce off and putting it off the heat. I wash my hands and also dip my finger in the bowl. As I bring my finger to my mouth, a bit of chocolate falls on my chest. Before I can get to it, Nadine has reaches her finger over to grab the missed chocolate and brings it to her mouth.
Hetty enters the kitchen at the exact moment Nadine's finger swipes the chocolate from my chest and to her lips.
“Oh I see we just let everyone eat off of each other,” Hetty says in annoyance before exiting the kitchen. “She might as well just lick it off you the next time,”
“Nadine, excuse me for a moment. Ghost duty calls,” I excuse myself placing the dish towel in my hand on the counter.
“Oh yeah, of course, I’m going to finish putting up the small decorations if you don’t mind,” Nadine says untying her apron.
“No you go ahead, I’ll finish in the kitchen once I’m done,” I say leaving the kitchen to catch up with Hetty.
“Save me some chocolate!” Riley calls from the lobby.
I find Hetty upstairs living room.
“Hetty, what is going on? Your temper with me seems to be at a short fuse,”
“It has not,” Hetty says avoiding my gaze.
I hear Riley call for me, and I wish he had better timing.
“You might want to go see what your muscled desk boy wants,” Hetty says.
I nearly scream in annoyance and frustration, but I decide not to.
“This conversation is not over,” I say before I storm past Alberta heading down the stairs. Alberta heads into the living room with Hetty and blocks Hetty from exiting.
“Hetty what is going on?” Alberta asks
“I haven’t the slightest idea of what you’re talking about,” Hetty says
“You are driving that girl up a wall, and not in a good way,”
“I have not. I have been simply-” Hetty begins.
“Ignoring her,” Isaac says cutting Hetty off as he enters the room.
“Oh great another gossip,” Hetty says as she sits on the couch,” Please tell me what my other grievances are.”
“Hetty we are worried about you. When she first got here, you were so excited to have as you said “another woman of high status” to join you. Then you walked around like the cat who got the cream once you finally kissed her,”
“I did not,” Hetty says fidgeting with her hands.
“You most certainly did!” Alberta laughs, “ She must be some kisser because it was almost as if you sat on the washing machine again.
Hetty blushes at the memory, she hates her how her friends can see through her facade.
“Hetty what is it that makes you act like this?” Isaac says sitting next to Hetty
“That’s the issue, Isaac. I do not know! I haven’t felt like this since I tried to run off with that painter,”
It dawns on Isaac,” Hetty do you know what it means?”
“Obviously not,” Hetty says waiting for Isaac to enlighten her.
“Hetty, you two were practically inseparable. The two of you were practically finishing each other’s sentences, going on walks, and having movie dates,”
“Oh remember when you told me that you enjoyed how the sun made her eyes sparkle on your walks,” Alberta chimes in.
“Remember that one time, we caught them cuddled up watching Bodices and Barons?” Isaac adds.
“Oh, how could I forget they looked so cute! (y/n) draped over Hetty with Hetty’s arms possesively wrapped around her,” Alberta says.
“The both of you are absolutely incorrigible,” Hetty says in defeat.
“And you’re blushing and in love!” Isaac says kicking his feet in the air.
“I most absolutely am not,” Hetty says snatching her hands away.
“Hetty and (y/n) sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G,” Alberta begins to sing.
Hetty simply puts her face in her hands. Hetty was so out of sorts even her mannerisms were becoming too unladylike for her. Hetty decides it’s time to grab the bull by the horns.
“If you two are done acting so childly, I am going to go and find and talk to (y/n),” Hetty says rising from the couch. She blames the butterflies in her stomach on the sudden change of posture rather than nerves.
“Finally! Have fun and don’t come back until you look like you’ve had fun with the washer,” Alberta calls. This sends Isaac and Hetty in a fit of laughter.
Hetty leaves the room and goes to enter your bedroom. Hetty begins to debate on whether she should enter or not, and then on a whim decides to enter the room. Upon entry, she has to fight to keep down a gasp as she watches Nadine kiss you. She quickly leaves the room and feels the butterflies in her stomach turn to lead.

Listen to the sound of your voice💌
Pairing: Pietro Maximoff x fem!shapeshifter!reader
Fluff
Summary: Pietro found himself enjoying your voice the most, especially on Valentine‘s Day.
Warning: just a bunch of fluff, reader opens up about an insecurity but it‘s all good in the end, language (swearing)
A/N: I was having a Scream marathon while writing this and it was really confusing at times to write fluff and watch a splatter movie next to it. By the way, I have no idea how to properly celebrate Valentine‘s Day so bear with me in this one.
February 14 was the most wonderful day for some people. The sun was shining just a small tad brighter on the day of love, waves were more peaceful and the sky was clearer. Flowers were wilting less fast and were gifted from one person to another. Little gifts formed in hearts are ready to be bought from every supermarket and expensive jewelry was promoted on every website known to men. Pietro never enjoyed Valentine‘s Day since the incident in Sokovia. Sure, he had a date sometimes but nothing was ever coming out of it. He‘s always remembered of his parents on Valentine‘s Day, as he was younger he always got to see his parents relishing their love. His father always brought his mother flowers and his mother always made him his favourite food. They didn‘t have much money growing up so the presents were small but Pietro had seen that they meant the world for each other.
Now years later Pietro was a part of the Avengers and Valentine‘s Day never quite lost its touch. Tony Stark was always someone to buy presents to show his love and Pietro had seen him more than once on Armor‘s day giving Pepper an expensive bunch of flowers, a bracelet, watch or anything else. Vision and his sister Wanda had decided to take the whole day for themselves and Pietro didn‘t want to know what exactly they were doing. Bucky and Steve went out to enjoy a day as a couple, something they couldn‘t do back in their days. Bruce and Natasha didn‘t plan something bad, as far as Pietro knew, but he knew that they had a table booked at an expensive restaurant. Sam was off on a date with a girl he met a few weeks ago and Thor wasn‘t on earth. It left Pietro and you alone on love‘s day at the compound and Pietro thought that that was just perfect.
To be honest with himself, Pietro has never been truly in love with someone. Sure, he had a few dates here and there and there were some flings he had but he was never in love. The girls he dated were never girls where he thought they were the one and it may not seem like it but Pietro truly believed that every person on this planet, no matter how cruel, has a person that is made for them. The people just have to find their own way of making it work.
„So, it seems that it‘s just the two of us, uh?“ Your voice cut through Pietro‘s trail of thoughts. He looked at you and Pietro could swear you had a small glint of disappointment on your face. „You got no date today?“
Pietro smiled slightly at her and bowed his head a bit in mock offense, „You act like I got a date everyday, dragon.“ You smiled at the blonde man in front of you, the nickname for you falling effortlessly from his lips, „I changed into a dragon for you once on your birthday, will you ever let it go?“
Pietro chuckled at your words as he shook his head, „Never. But anyway, why are you not out? Everyone else is, I thought I got the compound for me.“ The smile on your face didn‘t falter for a second but Pietro noticed the slight fall of your shoulders, „Valentine‘s Day isn‘t something for me, y‘know? I never really go on dates much anyway, I‘ve got an important job to do.“ Your explanation didn‘t really make sense for him, sure being an Avenger was important but going on dates was still possible.
„Well then it seems like it‘s us then, eh? Seems like we‘re going out on a date then?“ Pietro knew that this was a big shot and he didn‘t know if you would agree but damn, he wanted you to agree so badly. Despite his serial dating, his interest in you never once reduced. You had this big impact on him that you didn‘t even notice. Pietro could write a novel about the many times the team noticed Pietro being smitten with you and you being oblivious. Steve liked to tease him about it, he always said that Bucky was the same back in the day.
„I guess it means that we‘re going out then, what‘s your plan then?“ Pietro laughed slightly before shrugging, „Well, how about we go to that café nearby and we get the most delicious strawberry cake there is? I know that that‘s your favourite and that the barista there keeps a piece for you.“ The smile on your face couldn‘t vanish if someone tried removing it from you.
„No flowers? Oh, Pietro, I thought you were at least a gentleman. You need to step up your game.“ Your teasing made him chuckle as he leaned forward to take your hand. „You just wait, Dragon, I‘m gonna give you the best Valentine‘s Day ever, I promise.“
Pietro was right, the barista did leave a piece of strawberry chocolate cake for you. „How do you know that that‘s my favourite?“ Pietro gave a nonchalant shrug, his eyes never leaving the street before them.
„You know, just hearing it here and there.“ It wasn‘t a complete lie, he did hear it from his sister. But Pietro also knew that the strawberry chocolate cake from that üparticular café was your favourite because Pietro was infuriated with you. He may have never been in love but he knew he felt something for you that he didn‘t feel with anyone else. He thought about you all day long, he woke up with the motivation of hearing your voice, when he was on missions he got home for you and every time he sped to a market to get something it was for you and only you.
And you? Well, you never truly noticed. Of course you knew that you and Pietro were more than friends. Your constant flirting was definitely something that wasn‘t unintentional from both your sides but you never noticed that Pietro did most things for you. In your eyes, Pietro did these things for the rest of the team as well. He noticed the small details and things about you as much as he did the rest of the team.
„You may be the only person I can actually stand seeing on Valentine‘s Day.“ Pietro laughed slightly before shaking his head in disbelief.
„Seriously though, how come you don‘t have a date today?“ Your smile was slipping for a second and Pietro was afraid he had ruined the mood but it came back as fast as it slipped, „I do have a date today, we‘re out right now, aren‘t we?“ Your voice was playful but Pietro could still hear the sadness that lingered in it. The look on his face told you that he didn‘t believe you so with a sigh you went on. „It‘s not that easy to find a date as me, you know? I mean, it never gets past the first date. Most of the guys I go out with are intimidated because of my abilities or my status as an Avenger or they are just going out with me in the first place because I‘m an Avenger. They don‘t really care about getting to know me.“
Pietro‘s shoulders slouched slightly and he had an irritated look on his face. „Well, then I‘ll make sure that you have the best Valentine‘s Day today! Come on, there is a flower shop nearby, we‘re getting your favourite flowers.“ You chuckled at his enthusiasm but took his hand nonetheless, „How do you know what my favourite flowers are?“ Pietro‘S teasing smile was addictive and you had to smile as well, „I know a lot of things about you that you have no idea about.“
The day with Pietro turned out to be really great. The two of you did all the things a couple would do, you got ice cream and shared it with one spoon, you went out to eat at a restaurant and you bought each other a present. You got each other matching jewelry, a necklace with your initial for him and a bracelet with his for you. You were back at the compound now, a movie playing in the background as you were talking about the most obscene nonsense. It was quiet as you two just looked into each other’s eyes, both wanting to make the next move but also not wanting to be the one doing it.
„I don‘t understand how they don‘t want to get to know you.“ Pietro‘s statement caught you off guard as you looked at him with confusion written in your face. „I mean, you‘re so much fun and you‘re so easy to talk to and, God, you‘re so pretty when you‘re getting mad about something. I‘d listen to you talk about anything anytime if you asked me to.“
„What do you mean?“ Pietro chuckled at the tone in your voce, just like a confused puppy. „You said they never truly listen to you but I don‘t know why, I can listen to you talk the whole day.“ Pietro could feel your nervous breath on his skin, a slight blush forming on his cheeks. „Have you ever been in love?“ Your question caught him off guard but he answered anyway, „Not that I know of, no. You?“
You smiled at him, „I don‘t think so but I‘d like to find out what it feels like, will you- eh, try to find it out with me?“ Your voice was trembling slightly and Pietro wanted nothing more than to take all your nerves away from you. He answered your question by leaning in and kissing you, your lips moving in sync and Pietro could swear that there were butterflies in his stomach. „Does that answer your question?“ You had a teasing smile on your face as you replied, „I don‘t know, you might have to do it again, just to be sure.“
Pietro smirked and that was how you spent the rest of your first but certainly not last Valentine‘s Day together. Kissing, cuddling and even cooking together while scaring the Avengers as soon as they got home.

The Sister
Yn doesn’t complain but Bucky knows she misses her sister. The situation with her has been complex. When their father died, he left the entire property in name of yn. He didn’t leave anything for her sister Joyce because of her gambling addict husband. Joyce share of the property is to be given only in the form of tuition and medical expenses for Joyce and her children that are to be given only after the approval of yn.
For this reason Joyce husband mark hates yn a lot and doesn’t let her meet her nephews Leo and Liam.
Yn often misses them. But she won’t relent and give the money because she knows mark is going to loose all of it in gambling. Joyce is in support of her fathers will for this same reason and she won’t challenge it no matter what
Bucky watched Yn as she sat at her desk, her expression a mix of concentration and underlying sadness. He knew the look well; it was one she wore when thoughts of her sister Joyce and her nephews, Leo and Liam, weighed heavily on her mind.
Bucky hated seeing her like this, the tension in her shoulders, the faint lines of worry creasing her forehead. He knew the situation with her family was complex and painful. Their father’s will had put her in an impossible position, and it pained him to see her miss her sister and nephews so much.
Bucky approached her, his steps quiet but purposeful. "Hey, doll," he said softly, coming to stand beside her. "You look like you’ve got the weight of the world on your shoulders."
Yn looked up, her eyes softening when they met his. "Just thinking about Joyce and the boys," she admitted. "I miss them."
Bucky pulled up a chair and sat down next to her. "I know you do. It’s a tough situation, but you’re doing the right thing. Mark... he’s not a good influence, and you know the money would just end up in his pockets."
Yn sighed, rubbing her temples. "I know. Joyce and I both agree on that. It's just hard not seeing Leo and Liam. They’re growing up so fast, and I’m missing it."
Bucky knew he could handle Mark with a snap of his fingers. One call, and Mark would be out of their lives forever. But he respected Yn too much to just take matters into his own hands without her asking for it. She was fiercely independent and self-respecting, and he admired that about her.
Bucky wished he could do more. The thought of Mark keeping Yn away from her nephews made his blood boil. But he knew Yn wouldn’t want him to intervene like that. She had too much pride, too much integrity to let someone else fight her battles.
"You know," Bucky said, trying to lighten the mood, "I could handle Mark with a snap of my fingers."
Yn laughed softly, shaking her head. "I know you could, Bucky. But that’s not how I want to do things. I need to handle this my way."
Bucky nodded, respecting her resolve. "I understand. Just know that if you ever change your mind, I'm here. And I'll always be here, no matter what."
Yn reached out and squeezed his hand. "Thank you, Bucky. That means a lot to me."
Bucky felt a swell of pride and love for Yn. She was strong, determined, and incredibly self-respecting. He admired her for that and was more than willing to support her in any way she needed. Even if it meant holding back when all he wanted to do was protect her.
Yn’s silence hung in the air for a moment before she broke it with a soft, wistful tone. "You know, sometimes I wish I could just get four people to beat him up."
Bucky’s ears perked up, a grin forming at the corners of his lips. “Me, Steve, Sam, and Thor?”
Yn laughed, shaking her head. “I was speaking metaphorically, Bucky.”
Bucky's grin widened, his gaze steady on her. “You know, doll, I’m at your service. We all are. That jackass of a brother-in-law doesn’t know he’s living on your mercy.”
Yn's eyes softened with gratitude, and she reached out to gently touch Bucky’s hand. “Thank you, Bucky. It means a lot to know that you and the others have my back.”
Bucky squeezed her hand reassuringly. “We’re always here for you. No matter what.”
Yn’s resolve, usually so strong, finally crumbled as she put her head on Bucky’s shoulder. Her breaths became ragged, and tears began to flow freely. The dam she had held back for so long had burst, and she let the emotion flood out, her shoulders trembling with each sob.
Bucky felt the warmth of her tears seeping through his shirt. He didn’t say a word, allowing her to cry without interruption. His own heart ached at the sight of her in distress, but he knew this was a moment she needed to experience fully. His hands moved gently, rubbing her back in soothing circles, trying to offer some comfort.
He could feel the weight of her sadness pressing down on him, and he wished he could take it all away. He tightened his hold on her, keeping her close, his fingers brushing her hair softly. The room around them seemed to fade away as Bucky focused entirely on Yn. Her tears wet his shirt, but he didn’t care. The tangible evidence of her vulnerability was a reminder of how much he wanted to protect and cherish her.
Yn’s cries gradually subsided, though she remained nestled against him. Bucky kept his arms firmly around her, a silent promise that he would stand by her side no matter what. He understood the pain she was going through, and he resolved to support her in any way he could. In this intimate, silent exchange, Bucky’s feelings for Yn deepened even further, and his desire to shield her from the world’s cruelty became even stronger.
Yn's tears were rare, a sight Bucky had witnessed only once before in their nearly year-long relationship. It was a moment that spoke volumes about her strength and resilience—her usual composure cracking under the weight of her emotions.
As she buried her face in his shoulder, Bucky felt the wetness of her tears seep through his shirt. He could feel the tremors of her sobs against him, each one a reminder of the pain she was carrying. Despite the intimate vulnerability of the moment, Bucky remained steadfast, offering her the silent comfort she needed. His heart ached seeing her like this, a stark contrast to the composed and formidable woman he was used to.
He held her tightly, his arms a protective barrier against the world. His internal thoughts raced with a fierce protectiveness, vowing to shield her from any more hurt. He wanted to be her rock, just as she had always been for him. The rare display of her vulnerability only deepened his affection and respect for her.
Yn's usual strength and stoic demeanor seemed to dissolve in those tears, leaving her raw and exposed. Bucky's resolve to support her unwaveringly solidified, and he felt a deepened connection to the woman he loved so dearly. He knew that in this moment, she needed him more than ever, and he was determined to be there for her, no matter what.
Yn took a deep breath, her shoulders relaxing as the tears subsided. She pulled away slightly, her eyes red but regaining their familiar strength. The raw vulnerability gave way to the steely determination that had always defined her.
She looked up at Bucky, her gaze steady and filled with a mix of gratitude and resolve. “You are a good man, Bucky,” she said softly, her voice steadier now.
Bucky’s heart swelled with warmth at her words. Despite the weight of her pain and the vulnerability she had just shown, she was back to being the strong, admirable woman he loved. Her acknowledgment touched him deeply, and he felt a renewed sense of purpose in supporting her.
“Thanks, doll,” he replied, his voice low and earnest. “I just want to make sure you’re okay. Always.”
“Enough crying,” she said firmly, her voice steady. “Let’s go to your club.”
Bucky nodded, his admiration for her resilience growing. He helped her to her feet and gently guided her toward the door, his presence a silent promise of support. Despite the heaviness of the conversation, Yn’s readiness to move forward and engage with the world again spoke volumes about her strength.
As they left, Bucky’s thoughts were a mixture of relief and deep respect. Yn’s ability to balance vulnerability with unwavering strength was something he cherished deeply. He knew that, together, they could face any challenge that came their way.
As they leave for the clu, Yn’s tone was a blend of seriousness and a hint of playful threat as she looked up at Bucky. “If you tell anyone I cried, I will break up with you, okay?”
Bucky’s face softened into a reassuring smile. “Understood, doll.”
He could see the flicker of a smile tugging at the corners of her lips, and he knew she was just as determined to move past this moment as he was to support her. As they made their way to the club, Bucky felt a renewed sense of commitment to protecting and cherishing Yn, knowing how much she valued her privacy and strength.

Of Palaces, Princes and Magic - Thor x (Fem)Reader
Warnings: Clueless, powerless Thor from 2011. Tons of fluff
Summary: Wandering arround your home Thor discovers evidence of the fairytale fantasies of your childhood and promises to make your dreams come true.
Note: I wrote this last night on my phone with the last bits of battery I had and post it on the morning from the laptop. There is no editing or proofread.

Allowing a stranger inside your home wasn't your initial intention, but you kept stumbling with him untill you realized he had nowhere else to go. From the barely understandable bits of explanations you got from him, your first guess was that he may have just escaped from a cult, but that didn't make him necesarily dangerous. He was lost, clueless of the world after abandoning the place that was all he ever knew. You did remember him mentioning something over the lines of ' being casted out as a punishment' and that seemed to comfirm your theory. A cult linked to norse mythology, with a leader believing himself to be Odin who had raised him as his son.
Thor lived in a fantasy world and you could tell he was harmless because he never meant to hurt you in any way. He probably required of professional help, but to get there he needed to reach some bassical functionality. If many people would get to hear more of his nonsense, he would end up locked and that possibility saddened you deeply. As far as you could tell, he probably had been physically disconnected from the world all his life already. Besides, it was clear that he trusted you, because the out of place displays of odd arrogance he had with everyone else didn't happen much between you. For you he only had a quirky but lovely chivalry that sometimes was enough to make you live his fantasy for a while.
From all the decorative details in the place, his atention was focused in a miniature replica of Cinderella's castle you had on a table near your bookshelves. A beautifull toy incluiding small figures of characters to habitate it, so delicated and romantic that you kept it as decoration even if you wouldn't play with it anymore like when you were a little girl.
" Do you like it? " You asked him, followed with a sweet smile of encouragement. " It was my favorite growing up ... I'm a grown up woman and I still love it."
The last part of the explanation confused him a bit.
" I don't see why age would fundamentally change your appreciation, it's a fine sculpture of a castle fitting for the aesthetic preferences of a lady."
You couldn't help chuckling a bit, then showed him how to unfold the toy in order to see the inside and put it all back in.
" It's a toy, for little girls to play with." You corrected him. " Many girls enjoy playing pretend to be princesses as children, but when we reach a certain age we stop thinking of palaces, princes and magic... Unless we are reading a fantasy novel or something like that. It's stuff of tales and Disney movies, not reality."
The answer surprised him even more, but there was some sort of sadness in it. Pretty much as if he took pitty on the fact.
" Are people like me casted out to remain only in the literature of this realm?" He asked, with genuine curiosity. " Which tale does this castle tells? If there is any, as your words suggest."
Even in the simplest of details, the conversations with him allways felt like the dialogue of a fairytale.
" If someone would tell me that you have came out from the pages of a fantasy book, I would believe it."
" Yet you can't believe that Asgard is my homeland." He mocked you in return. " I'll convince you, all your doubts will be clarified once I will have my mighty power back."
You didn't argue with him, there was no need at the moment.
" Alright, your highness ... Do you still want me to tell you the tale?"
Thor smiled in agreement and you began to narrate using the playset castle as a visual guide. The fact that a grown man was just being introduced to the tale of Cinderella felt quite odd, but very cute. He was particularly intrigued with the fact that the King found no issue on letting his son marry a servant that presented herself to him magically disguised just because she was the owner of the crystal shoe.
" ... Even if she was the rightfull heir of the household, her stepmother made her a slave and that's a downgrade that should have disqualified her at the eyes of the King. How could the prince convince him of blessing that union? "
He was taking the story seriously and it was hard to provide answers in that perspective.
" I guess he simply indulged his son and let him marry the woman he loved. Prince Charming fell for Cinderella at the Royal Ball, he had no idea of who she was back then. The girl was a princess in spirit and maybe the King saw that, the crystal shoe proved her worthy of the prince."
For some reason, your answer made him smile a bight brighter than before.
" I believe you are a princess in spirit. " Thor sweetly confessed. " ... and a magnificent storyteller."
His pure cuteness was too much for you and behind your own smile heat has started to take over your face.
" Me, a princess? Please! You don't have to flatter me for hospitality. I haven't wore a tiara since I was eight."
Thor looked at the little figures of Cinderella and Prince Charming in their miniature balcony, then glanced back at you as if a new strange idea had just occured to him.
" What if you could experience what's like to be a princess? Would you believe me then?" He asked you out of sudden. " Not only about Asgard, but about my very sincere perceptions of you."
You began to wonder if the last part was some sort of romantical approach and were quite confused about that. He was very sweet and you loved his company. It could be said that you fancied him too, but encouraging him would be taking advantage of the strange situation and you would never do that.
" It's allright, Thor. I'm fine just like this. We are friends, you can help me arround ... "
" I insist, that's how I will repay you for all the troubles I have caused. " He cutted you off with determination. " I will take you to a real Royal Ball."
He sounded so serious about it that you began to question your own sanity.
" The noblefolk would be judging, It's a bad idea. "
" They will see you like I do." He optimistically replicated. " Your looks will reflect your royal spirit and you will not have to flee at midnight. If that's your desire, you will get to dance with a real prince ... Maybe two, if Loki also requires it. Ask him nicely and we may convince him of hexing your shoes to look as if made of crystal."
You giggled out of a pure, sweet surprise while hearing the details of the fantasy he was almost roping you in.
" That's very sweet. You are the sweetest man I have ever known."
You were gazing into each other's eyes when he formalized the promise.
"Currently less than what you deserve, but I will fix that soon. I will be back to my former glory, I will be worthy of you and In honor of your infinite kindness and patience, I shall make your dreams come true. "
