and I mean, even if he does just like his hair a certain way, I still want to know why. most people have a part of their identity or personality tied to their hair. maybe they are trying to present themselves as clean or professional, they want to be cool and trendy, they want something they feel accentuates their natural beauty, or maybe they want something that is hassle free. does Bucky like his hair short so it's not in the way? is he too busy to get it cut regularly?

did he cut it because short hair reminds him of his past with Steve, and he was coping with Steve being gone and his legacy?

I don't know if anyone else cares about this, but I always wonder what Bucky's relationship with his hair is. Why did he let it grow out so long, then cut it, and is now letting it grow out again? What I think, is that he cut it because he was trying to get closure, and maybe he associated his long hair with his sins. He kept it when he was still able to be influenced by the words. He also kept it after he no longer was, but was still working through things. Maybe after atoning, he feels like he can let go and do whatever he wants now. The long hair is no longer a sign of his guilt. Alternatively, maybe he just procrastinated on cutting it for so long because he was depressed. So in Thunderbolts, he either just likes the way it looks or he is relapsing. I get the vibe he doesn't give as much fucks anymore based on his dressing more and more in civilian clothes on missions. What do y'all think?
