i'm sorry why is it easier to find information and headcanons about gilderat than nobleflower? a ship that has been around for at least a few years now? why do we give so much thought to the boys and their ships even if they're crack ships and completely ignore the female characters? sigh.

Advent Calender 13.

And though it certainly is Friday 13, this is not an unlucky day as I get to write Nobleflower for @fictionalsimp09.

It was just a whisper, but it was enough. "Lily." She slipped into the garden, her sleeping boy strapped into her sling as she had agreed beforehand. Show me yours, I show you mine. Narcissa was waiting in the shadows, just as nervous as she was, risking just as much, if different things. She looked... worn. Lily worried. "How have you been? Is Lucius..." She didn't end the sentence, but Narcissa waved it away anyway. "It's not that. Draco is fuzzy, it's a mess. Can't leave it to the house-elves." She thought about it for a moment then pulled Lily into a kiss, a sad one. "Look at us, both with kids, and talking about it like old housewives. What has become of us, almost as if it wasn't true. Wasn't real." Lily sighed. "We made a decision. That doesn't make it less. I'll always be there for you and you for me. We'll always look out for each other - and our kids." She hugged her lover, careful not to disturb her little bundle of not so much joy. "As long as the men wage war, what choice do we have?" They had to little time to linger on it, though, had to squeeze as much joy out of their little talks as they could, and so she changed topic quickly. Still... the last kiss always hurt. Always more than last time. It might as well be the last.
