hey what are your thots on people who write/draw explicit material of characters like the puffs, ruffs, princess, etc. with them being explicitly aged up. I've seen a lot of arguments about it being bad or gross still and I'm a bit on the fence. on one hand if there's development to reach that point and the characters clearly are adults I don't have much of a problem with it. but making porn of them just for the sake of it feels weird. like if a long fic has smut or somebody draws smut of a story then whatever have fun. does that make any sense? im not sure if this is an inherently gross thing or im just sensitive. not looking for a "oh you don't have to like it" statement cuz I know that, looking for some perspectives outside of my own especially people who do write/draw nsfw of these characters.
i know fandom spaces have been a lot more hostile and unpredictable with shipping since all the pro/anti shipping garbage started like 6-7 years ago but I don't know what the actual perspective is from people who aren't ass deep in annoying shipping discourse that has no nuance to it
I spent forever trying to come up with a good answer to this ask. I don't write sexual nsfw stuff, so I don't have a different perspective to give you. Tbh, I don't even like reading smut. I prefer plot-focused stories.
But to cut to the chase and just answer your question, I literally don't care. If someone's making aged-up porn because they want to make aged-up porn, that's their business. It has absolutely no effect on me because I have a life outside of the internet lol. I don't think porn for the sake of porn is inherently gross. And I do think it's sensitive to think otherwise.
The characters in these fics aren't real. They don't feel anything, they have no rights or agency. They are figments of our collective imagination. If someone wants those figments to grow up and develop past six years old, then who are you to stop them? Are your (and to be clear, I'm using 'your' in the general sense lol) thoughts and opinions so important you're entitled to suppress another person's freedom of expression?
Seriously, who are these stories hurting? Bubbles doesn't exist. Bubbles isn't a person. Bubbles is an "it." A thing made for entertainment. People personify her. She takes life because we gift her that, and in return, we are able to resonate with her. People like to see themselves in characters. They want their favorite characters to grow up with them. And if shit gets horny, who am I to judge? Sex is a completely normal human action. A lot of people have sex and consider themselves sexual creatures, so of course the characters they enjoy are going to be used to reflect their positive relationship with sex. To think that fictional sex with fictional characters who are written at an appropriate fictional age for sex IRL is inherently gross is crazy to me.
Yeah, I don't want people writing children having sex. That's a different conversation entirely, but I'm not dumb enough to think it's unrealistic for teenagers and young adults to be fooling around irl. Fiction is going to reflect real-life experiences, and real life has sex in it.
But hold up wait, does this mean I think a piece of fiction doesn't reflect the morals and ethics of the author? No. Aren't I aware that there are pedophiles out there? Yeah, duh.
But my passing judgment on an author depends on the context of the writing. For example, I think the premise of Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov is gross, but I don't think Nabokov is a pedophile because I have basic reading comprehension. Sometimes, pieces of fiction are purposefully written to make you uncomfortable. Sometimes there are disgusting people out there who write deplorable shit.
In the ppg fandom, more often than not, the aged-up smut is obviously written by a teenager exploring their sexuality. It all utterly sucks, and tbh can't seriously be considered smut. But again, I could absolutely care less about those stories. In fact, I'd rather kids explore sex via a healthy outlet than the alternatives, and if that means they have to write bad smut, then so be it.
It's the fucking pedophiles I take issue with. Pedophiles are the reason why people argue children's shows are for children, not for adults, but those arguments have been so saturated by the pro/anti discourse that people are now more worried about explicitly aged-up characters having sex than some of the absolutely evil shit you see on ao3, and it boils my blood, but I'll stop bitching.
#anon asks#you ever see a anon ask#and think damn this is blood in the water#because i can see ppl reacting poorly to this one#i want to make it absolutely clear that i do not subscribe to any pro/anti doctrine#i think its all dumb#and that's that on that

A New Way 2 Protest - Update #1
My name is XXXXXXX and I’m a former longtime resident (21 years) of metro Detroit. I moved back to Kentucky in 2015. I loved living in the Detroit area but returned to Kentucky for family reasons. I know you have some familiarity with Kentucky as you worked for the Lexington Herald-Leader. I recently subscribed to Bridge Detroit and I think it is excellent. I keep up more with news in Detroit and Michigan than I do in Kentucky LOL!
I would like to speak with you about issues much larger than Detroit. I hope you will take my thoughts seriously. I’m offering to you some ideas which I’m not really aware have ever been in out in the public realm for discussion and hopefully positive action in this non-stop onslaught by the Fascist Right-Wing Machine in this country.
Obviously after January 6 these are Very Dangerous times for our democracy, the most dangerous situation the nation has faced since the Civil War. There is no doubt Americans have done much to resist Trump and his vile, violent, fascist supporters, however, it is still not nearly enough to reverse the situation and get our democracy back on the rails. We have entered the 7th year of Trumpism and the casualties of our Democracy keep piling up.
These blatant attacks on our values and moral code, and most especially Voting Rights, have to be reversed ASAP. Yet, so far in 2021, Voting Rights are getting crushed by the Supreme Court and Red States Legislatures. This has to change and change quickly or our form of government will be toast. There is no doubt the Racist Authoritarians will continue to try and kick that door down until they rule with an iron fist over and our Democracy dies.
But as I mentioned above, I have some ideas on how to save ourselves from the Fascists, and I strongly feel journalism and journalism, especially black journalists, remain a Key Firewall in the defense to save American Democracy. So what I would like to discuss is something that I have never seen discussed, or even thought about actually anywhere. And my idea is centered on the American Sports Entertainment Industry. I want to leverage professional sports and big-time college sports, especially the sport of football, against the crystal clear attack on the foundations of Democracy.
This might seem simplistic, but you there is no absolute right that there be college football on Saturdays and pro football on Sundays in the fall/winter. None whatsoever. And as we both know, football is Soooooooo Important nationwide, but especially in the Red States of the South, plus Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania etc. But what if those of us who are more concerned with our nation’s future used our constitutional rights of Assembly and Free Speech, combined with the right to a Free Press and the unquestioned power of the mainstream media and social media, organized a coast-to-coast protest movement at stadiums Every Weekend this fall that would force game cancellations until we put American Democracy back in a safe place?
I feel a perfect places to start this movement would be Georgia (led by Stacy Abrams) followed by Texas (led by Beto O’Rourke) what with the heinous Voter Suppression activities going on in those two states and the presence of several major college and three NFL teams to target. However, I will discuss this more in future conversations with you (hopefully). Right now, I want to leave you with this question. I really want as a Black Man to think about it and why it has never been brought it up in our national discussion about racism and basic fairness.
Why do we as a nation allow Fox Corp. via Fox Network to broadcast the NFL (and College Football, Major League Baseball, Soccer, NASCAR etc.) as the “All-American Network” that promotes the best of America, the Shining City on the Hill as Ronald Reagan put it, while at the Very Same Time, the other main division of Fox Corp., Fox News Channel, blasts out Racist, Fascist, Anti-Science, Deadly, Filthy Lies & Propaganda 24/7/365?
I’ve never seen this addressed by any media in the United States, making this direct observation/comparison about Rupert Murdoch’s network. Maybe you can work with me and we can start to bring questions like this to the public domain.....

Pro Cordless Water Flosser White How to Use & Review
Today, as material life continues to improve, oral health has become a topic of great concern. Many people usually don't pay much attention to personal care in this area. The sputum reaches the pulp and causes inflammation, negligence, and the teeth will develop lesions over time!
When it comes to oral care, we have to mention a few basic tools in daily household use: toothpicks, physical floss, toothbrush (traditional / electric), mouthwash and water flosser.
Although most of us know the benefits of using toothpicks and dental floss, it takes a long time for each tooth to be cleaned up slowly. At the same time, poor strength control can also cause bleeding in the gums. If you don't like traditional flossing, after using all the above tools, the feeling is that flossing may be the solution you have been looking for. Here to remind everyone is rational treatment.Water Flosser is only one of the tools of oral care, not a tool for oral therapy. The purchase with the following mentality is wrong: *Completely treat my dental disease and stop seeing the dentist. *With this I can use toothbrushes and physical floss. *Dental calculus and plaque can be completely cleaned up. *I can eat whatever I want, smoke and smoke, go home and wash it. Water Flosser is a gadget that washes teeth with water. It is only after use, it will develop good habits and have certain improvement effects. For example, dental calculus is formed after the food residue is calcified by saliva. It can be washed for a short time. It can not be washed directly for a long time. It can only slow down the formation of new stones. Dental calculus needs to be treated in a regular hospital. Therefore, the absolute propaganda words of “all-round”, “completely clearing” and “without hindrance” are a bit too exaggerated. “Relieving” or even “effective” is acceptable. It is better to go to the hospital. Another point is the frequency of replacement, whether it is an ordinary toothbrush floss or electric toothbrush, there is a certain period of use. After a one-time investment, the water floss can be used continuously by the whole family for many years. Some netizens use the term even more than 10 years. Of course, as long as the most core components of the motor are not burned, the rest have a solution that can be replaced perfectly, which is undoubtedly the upper hand in cost.
Do you want to test one?Let's see the Liberex Water Flosser Review video, thank you again for Gogetyours talking about product's features, how to use,the personal experience after using.

‘Fear’ and ‘favor’ chill newsroom at storied Japanese paper
‘Fear’ and ‘favor’ chill newsroom at storied Japanese paper TOKYO — Early in December, dozens of journalists and editors from the Japan Times gathered for an emergency meeting in a glass-walled conference room in their brand-new 14th floor office. On the agenda was a single, incendiary issue: the newspaper’s new descriptions of how Japan compelled thousands of foreigners into military brothels and labor during World War Two. In the past, the Japan Times described Korean workers as “forced laborers” and comfort women as those “forced to provide sex for Japanese troops before and during World War II.” But the five-sentence note published on Nov. 30 said the country’s oldest English-language paper would refer to Korean workers simply as “wartime laborers.” The paper also said that because of the varied experiences of comfort women, it would describe them as “women who worked in wartime brothels, including those who did so against their will.” Such terms are social flashpoints in Japan and a topic of bitter dispute with South Korea, whose government argues comfort women were clear victims of wartime abuse. The changes come amid simmering tensions; South Korea’s Supreme Court ruled in October that Japanese companies must compensate South Koreans forced to work during the war. The executive editor of the Japan Times, Hiroyasu Mizuno, told staff at the start of the December meeting that he had “three main goals” in making the style change. He said it would avoid creating the perception that the paper was “anti-Japanese,” which he said was necessary for the paper’s survival. He also said the paper would maintain “a high level of neutrality” and continue to report the positions of Japan, South Korea, China and others. As the meeting continued, Mizuno reiterated the “anti-Japanese” issue and the need to preserve advertising revenue. Some readers said the change glossed over Japan’s wartime actions. Prominent Japanese conservatives, meanwhile, applauded the move, calling it a coup for nationalist activists agitating for English-language news outlets to change such descriptions. In an email, Mizuno told Reuters he and senior editorial managers decided to revise the paper’s descriptions to “better reflect a more objective view of topics that are both contentious and difficult to summarize.” He said the Nov. 30 note did not signal a change in the paper’s editorial direction, adding: “I categorically deny any accusations that The Japan Times has bowed to external pressure.” The Japan Times has an outsized impact on how the country is perceived abroad – it is distributed in Japan with The New York Times – and is seen domestically as an unofficial style guide for other English-language outlets. A New York Times representative said that the editorial operations of the two organizations were separate, and that the paper used precise language on the topic and would continue to do so. Reuters interviews with nearly a dozen Japan Times employees – all of whom requested anonymity out of fear of reprisal – along with hundreds of pages of internal emails and presentation materials, show the editorial changes started taking shape when the paper changed hands in June 2017. ‘ANTI-JAPANESE’ Some media critics say self-censorship is a problem in Japanese newsrooms, fed by fear of losing access, advertising revenue and subscribers. In the past, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his top aide, Yoshihide Suga, have singled out the liberal Asahi Shimbun for criticism, including over its articles on comfort women and the Fukushima disaster, some of which it later retracted, citing errors. Suga told Reuters the government would not comment on media companies’ editorial policies, including those of the Japan Times. Conservative groups in Japan have pushed hard to change how Japan’s World War Two activities are described. For instance, an Australian-Japanese organization that protests comfort women statues, saying the monuments feed anti-Japanese sentiment, along with Kent Gilbert, a well-known conservative commentator and lawyer who has worked in Japan for decades, petitioned Asahi Shimbun last year to remove “forced” from its description of comfort women. The paper did not amend its wording, saying in a public statement that it took care “to use the most appropriate phrasing” for stories. Similar pressure led the conservative Yomiuri Shimbun to apologize to readers in 2014 for using “sex slaves” to refer to comfort women in its English-language edition. “The Yomiuri Shimbun apologizes for having used these misleading expressions,” the paper’s English site said in a statement at the time. The chilling effect in newsrooms often comes from within the organization, experts say. “It’s less a result of direct government pressure and more from people inside newsrooms looking to their superiors and the public,” said Minako Beppu, a journalism professor at Hosei University who studies media censorship. “It’s things like, ‘Let’s not criticize them too much,’ or ‘Let’s tone things down a bit.’” At the Dec. 3 staff meeting, Mizuno said the changes were not political. “I want to get rid of criticism that Japan Times is anti-Japanese,” he said, according to a transcript and audio recording. Being seen as “anti-Japanese” would hurt advertising revenue from Japanese companies and institutions, he told staff. A senior manager in charge of sponsored content then said the paper had already increased government ad sales and scored an exclusive interview with Abe after dropping a column by Jeff Kingston, director of Asia studies at Temple University Japan, who had been writing weekly on what he saw as the Abe administration’s historical revisionism. “From a journalistic standpoint, that’s fatal, really,” a senior Japan Times reporter responded, according to the transcript. On Jan. 25, South Korea’s foreign ministry said in a statement: “We regret that some Japanese media organizations have adopted terms that distort the historical facts regarding the victims of comfort women for the Japanese military, and forced labor, which is merely an attempt to sidestep the essence of the problems.” In December, Reuters received a letter from a Japanese government official objecting to the term “sex slave” in a Nov. 22 article about South Korean comfort women. Reuters removed the term because the wording breached the agency’s stylebook guidance on “comfort women.”(http://handbook.reuters.com/index.php?title=C#.22comfort_women.22) NEW MASTERS Founded in 1897, the Japan Times has a circulation of just 45,000. After years of losses and the death of its previous owner, the paper – published under the banner “All the news without fear or favor” – was sold in 2017 to News2u, a PR company. It’s not unusual in Japan for new management to shift a paper’s editorial stance, and readers may miss subtle changes. But a few months after the sale, some longtime contributors, including Kingston, were told their regular columns were being cut. “I got an email out of the blue saying, ‘We’re terminating your column,’” Kingston said. Mizuno said the paper was open to future submissions from Kingston, but did not say why the column was canceled. “We have retained commentary writers and columnists that are, when appropriate, critical of the Japanese government,” he said in an email. Several reporters also said they felt more editorial pressure. In August 2017, when a local newspaper reported that Tokyo’s governor would snub an annual memorial for Koreans killed by mobs after an earthquake in 1923, reporters rushed to cover the news. But the reporters said they were particularly shocked when, in an email seen by Reuters, Mizuno told staff, “I think there is absolutely no value for us to report on this.” A SWIFT CHANGE A few months after the paper’s exclusive sit-down with Abe in February, Mizuno tried to revise the paper’s style on comfort women and other sensitive topics, presenting editors with more than 100 meticulously annotated articles and columns. In the notes, seen by Reuters, Mizuno objected to calling comfort women “victims” or mentioning that they included girls; questioned referring to Japan’s occupation of Korea as “brutal”; and criticized the paper’s reporting and stories by wire services, including Reuters, as generally “pro-Korea” and not adequately reflecting Japan’s view. “We’re not historians or arbiters of history, nor are we judges,” he wrote. Ultimately, he failed to persuade others, and the matter was put on hold. But the South Korean court ruling in October led to a swift denunciation from the Japanese government and a flurry of coverage. Mizuno turned to senior managers and the board of directors to make broader changes, according to Japan Times employees. Around the same time, the ultra-conservative think tank Japan Institute for National Fundamentals called on English-language media and specifically the Japan Times to refer to plaintiffs in the Seoul case as “wartime Korean workers,” leaving out references to coercion. Two weeks later, the editor’s note appeared in the Japan Times. Transcript –
Let’s just get into the main story that we want to talk about because just moments ago there’s been a huge backlash against Joe Rogan after he hosted a podcast with of course the CEO of Jack Dorsey in the comment section pretty much says it all as I’m seeing comments like people saying.
Joe Rogan that we on sweetie wants all loved is dead and of course the video is getting completely ratio with only three point two thousand people up voting the interview that Joe Rogan conducted with Jack Dorsey but with over 14,000 people down voting it a big ratio and pretty much the comment section says it all with people saying things like quote people are not buying this PR stunt there’s not another comment saying here remember when Joe was present during an interview? I missed.
Send it to me after watching the interview I do have to say that Jack Dorsey does kind of cut come off a little wacky you kind of comes off more like you was trying to be a religious leader then a CEO of a company but I think people also need to understand that this is ultimately a 41 year old billionaire who does also date 23 year old models and Timmy he was a little bit with just not in touch with reality with what he’s been saying and how he’s been expressing himself on the live stream because a lot of the things that he was saying we’re contradicted with what his Corporation has been doing and we have to understand here as one of the comments reads in the videos quote Jack Dorsey has done more to meddle in our elections then Russia and there’s.
Backlash against Jack Dorsey.
Mainly because.
Believe that Joe Rogan kind of went soft at him and you can see that from some of the comments and he didn’t pressure him and question Jack Dorsey on some of the activities at his mask Corporation conduct now I thought a very interesting part of the interview happened at around 48 minutes and 55 seconds we’re actually Joe Rogan asked about Alex Jones who was terminated from using.
Mosley violating the terms and services and Joe Rogan ask Jack Dorsey pointless.
What did Alex Jones do to get permanently banned which I found interesting because Alex Jones actually launched the whole attack on Joe Rogan just this week alone which was pretty out there Jason to say the least yeah you know.
Bottom line is this man has been set up.
Bob the CIA the Deep State the NSA damn I found am I sick.
Elemeno pea.
The new cult leader.
That’s going to take your kids down an LSD DMT path to hell with magic mushrooms.
Jason you’re not really exaggerated because I was just came up.
Very very speculative and that’s a very nice term to use here and talking about it like inside a references and acting like he knows a lot of secrets that he’s not going public with but also a lot of kind of really kind of far out their comments but it was interesting to see Joe Rogan actually asked Jack Dorsey about Alex Jones and Jack Dorsey even said I’m not even sure what what he actually violated and why was he permanently banned from using the platform so that was a big a contentious point.
As well as the fact that people are accusing now Joe Rogan of deleting a lot of the critical comments of the CEO of Twitter a lot of comments were made by Sargon of akkad there was a comment made by of course Mark Dice as well a lot of those comments were uploaded and a lot of people are saying that they can’t find them anymore on specifically the video that was published by Joe Rogan now Mark Dice actually released a statement saying that he could actually see his own comment but when he logged out of his account you couldn’t see his comment at all which of course people are pointing to clear sensor.
Mark Dice actually tweeted that Joe Rogan and then tweeted a photo of Joe Rogan blocking him and there’s been actually beef between Mark and Joe for a couple years now so it doesn’t surprise me that they have been blocked.
Of course a lot of people right now or staying confirmed Joe Rogan is now helping out Jack Dorsey by deleting critical comments of them on his page and people are saying that this is absolute truth but it could also be a possibility that Joe Rogan who did this video live and then deleted it and then reuploaded it that this was one of the reasons why some of those comments with missing it could also be because of the YouTube algorithm which has a bias against Sargon and Mark Dice another alternative creators and sometimes they down Rank and sometimes they get rid of comments in there as well so it’s actually unclear to see if there was any kind of meddling.
Play Joe Rogan but I hope he makes the statement about it because it wouldn’t look good if he was deleting comments from the bigger discussions that are being had on his video which I think are very important to to discuss and.
Bigger aspect here is of course Jack Dorsey himself and then to me honestly there could have been more to kind.
Question Jack Dorsey have to find out more critically important information because Jack Dorsey himself admits that he is biased and of course every human being is biased.
It came it comes to a point where even conservatives within the Twitter organization have come out and expressed that they don’t feel safe even expressing themselves working for of course Twitter even USA Today came out talking about the political bias and the crackdowns that have been politically motivated inside of Twitter and of course the people who use Twitter now Jack Dorsey just like similar comments he made in The Joe Rogan interview said this doesn’t affect us as as he said before as Mashable cupboard you know the left-leaning bias doesn’t affect content decisions at all and a lot of people are just calling straight out right Hui on that and lies because I think it’s pretty clear to everyone that yes there’s a major bias especially in Twitter especially with what we just saw a recently where we saw a lot of celebrities and mainstream media figures literally call for the doxxing and physic. Violence of teenagers of because they had a Maga hat and were smirking during of course the whole Native American controversy and a lot of those left-wing people who are calling for violence and Dachshund they weren’t punished by Twitter but when similar instances happen for an example when people tell journalists to quote learn-to-code now Twitter see that as abusive Behavior because the quote learn to code is being sent to journalists from predominately BuzzFeed and vice who lost their jobs recently so the biosphere is pretty effing.
Sushi with all the people who were permanently banned from that platform and it’s not just a prominent figures but also bigger organizations as we found out from the Washington times at Twitter suppress messages criticizing Planned Parenthood in other pro-life groups out there the bias is very clear with there censorship with her Shadow Banning and also Shilling for the establishment as it’s not only people on the right we’re getting hit but also a lot of people who are anti establishment like the free thought project the anti-media my personal friend Carey wedler who had our account deleted without an explanation to why it’s happening and it’s also done or bigger.
State government recent as we see Twitter recently takedown hundreds of accounts that were pro-regime of Maduro that were Pro Venezuelan accounts coming from Venezuela talking about their support.
Didn’t want a coup d’etat happening in their country all of those people have been bad it was a similar move also made of course in Syria where a lot of Syrian government accounts and Syrian voices.
Procedural voices Rosso sensor attend and deleted and of course a lot of Close Associates to Nicolas Maduro we’re also just totally blocked and suspend.
From using the platform as we’re seeing just a stunning video of what looks like American military helicopters in Columbia heading towards the Venezuelan border so this was an issue that I think Joe was kind of very soft on an.
In one point I do agree with Joe when he says I’m here to talk to everyone and people accuse him of platforming people and empowering them and I’m kind of with Joe here that he should have a right to talk to everyone in an exchange of dialogue and to have a bigger discussion here that we could get a better understanding overall this is getting a lot of attention this got my attention this had me watching and overall I think these conversations are.
Where the problem comes in and why people are mad.
Cuz when Joe Rogan is says that he wants to talk to everyone he doesn’t believe Indie platformer e the problem comes when he’s literally talkin to the orwellian overlord billionaire D platform King Jack Dorsey himself and this is why a lot of people.
Are having a backlash against this video because they don’t think Joe Rogan.
Argued and and fought for what he said he believed in and he took the situation very lightly and if you truly did believe in talking to everyone and giving everyone a platform you would fight for that kind of idea more than he did to what people accuse him of giving a very soft handed approach to Jack Dorsey and I can understand that sentiment as well do you agree or disagree with that also talks about AI in Bitcoin which I know you’re dying to talk about Jace.
There’s a lots on back there my friend I got to tell you what let’s start with Y Dorsey band me okay.
It was very direct.
You are like the last platform the bad Alex Jones.
Factory like JC we found you that’s when you know no no no that’s not why we did.
Now it is true that is a true statement because Alex Jones outside of the Capitol in Washington DC screamed at Jack Dorsey as he was getting into his car that’s a fact that is absolutely affect now it’s weird that Jason bermas knows why Alex Jones officially got banned by Twitter but Jack Dorsey. Band Alex Jones and is the head of this algorithm I want to talk about an AI that I want to talk about before we get him pushing Bitcoin will get there he he did so because he said in this interview and this is what I’m not going to be so hard on Joe because there’s a lot of stuff that came out in this interview if you listen to it all right he said he didn’t know now they said that the way he treated Oliver Darcy in this interview Dorsey said well he didn’t violate our terms of service until after he was on the radar violated terms of service since I was 16 for it the fact of the matter is I was with thousands.
Terms of service brakes.
After I had a big bowl of chili anyway.
Anyway he says that basically Jones officially got banned for bullying Oliver Darcy and live streaming it on the Twitter platform from the halls of the Capitol building now that if you doubt me I’m sure you can pick those up somewhere was pretty funny was calling like a raccoon look out evil is you can tell so that’s why Jack Dorsey doesn’t know that I know that now.
Dorsey also starts talking about how the algorithm curates content and he also starts talking about how it is an AI algorithm now Rogan then goes wait a minute it’s so this is all run by Ai and and he’s he’s literally asked he does he he says the c word Luke he asked him what should we have artificial intelligence censoring speech.
Anthony presenting says no it’s about Dan down ranking people who have a set of history of quote abusive Behavior but who’s who decided that abusive behavior and he’s talking about how people who they don’t like their responses won’t show up in the response feed which I found a stunning admission.
For him to actually bring.
So all that comes out right then he starts talking about some safe nuts to try to get around box right because you know Russia they had all those Twitter Bots and you know they don’t really care about that but he starts talking about facial recognition.
And then Jose like wait a minute facial recognition and then door she’s like oh no we’re just going to we’re not going to actually take your face yeah I’m sure we’re just going to make sure it’s a human being it’s a real person tweeting this stuff out.
So think about how.
Farthest 140 to 280 now characters.
Social media machine has got that it wants to basically biometrically identify your tweets then let an AI algorithm rate them and whether they should be curated up or down very spooky.
Call the salsa Works in hand.
Of course his app the cash app which also is integrated with Bitcoin which he pumped pretty heavily on The Joe Rogan podcast and talked about how.
Currencies are really the the currency of the future and if they’re in hands of someone with Jack Dorsey who’s already using AI who’s already coming off like kind of trying to be a religious figure here talking about oh yeah don’t wear your your your you know your face scans it won’t be used with anybody else I don’t believe it and it makes it very critical. Of course this kind of pumps up Bitcoin but at the same time it makes me worried because again as we covered on the Shadow the potential of Bitcoin is a two-sided it’s it’s a new form of Technology but that technology could be used for sinister purposes as much as it could be used for good purposes and there has been a big establishment push to watch monitor survey land keep track of any kind of transaction that happens out of course this bigger public blockchain I can be used for coarse very Sinister controlling motives so and they got everything here has to be taken with a grain of salt I’m happy that this interview happened I’m happy that we got to understand. Orbit I do understand why people are being critical of jail for giving this kind of soft approach but ultimately I would rather know and rather see this then not and even though he’s getting a lot of flack.
Overall a good important discussion that needed to be had a time and I’m happy you was.
No I absolutely agree Luke you know I’m I’m glad it’s out there getting you a lot of admissions here you see how the company is run from this guy’s perspective at least he’s willing to Shell out listen Ro going to ask some tough questions he just didn’t follow up with any of them he just took his his word you know what I mean and let him kind of talk around these things again what we got out of this is that we have a company that does have a bias is absolutely left-leaning is letting an AI algorithm dictate who gets to say what and when and where that goes and he kept your was really funny look he kept trying to promote not following people but to follow subject matter and one of the big things that he kept going back to his barracks.
So this guy is obviously anti brexit in every single way shape and form I mean the way they were talking about for Raj and his point of view and remember we talked about brexit earlier in the program that’s a pro people movement. All right so again in this just shows you that we need another platform guys Twitter is not it Twitter Twitter is going to have a limited lifespan it’s not going to be the end-all-be-all guess what Facebook is not going to be either let me tell you something that I’m not I live at the kids but they both have phones right.
You can kind of tell patterns on social media and Facebook was the biggest thing well this generation that is all Snapchat Facebook’s got to die down for my generation or generation mid-twenties upper forties into 50s the kids are really use.
These kids there they’re eight nine there on Tik Tok we don’t even know what’s going to be the next Twitter so Dorsey enjoy your bill and billions of dollars be smart now with your nose ring because the people will figure it out I promise.
Yeah and it was interesting because I got a lot of the conversations were very generalized were very vague they weren’t very much to the point that I do wish Joe Rogan would have followed up and kind of held his feet to the fire a little bit he had to have this kind of balance because he knows he wants to keep having powerful people on.
Same time his audience is very mad at him and and you know Jack Dorsey he kept talking about how he wants to help people and and serve people I think overall even when you look the basic understandings of.
Technological advancements in social media it is pretty clear by many scientific methods and by many scientific discoveries that social media by and large has been a very negative impact on human civilization of course there’s some good aspects of it but overall as far as depression as far as what’s been happening especially the the hate cliques that have been incentivize the censoring the manipulation of been happening behind the scenes for of course the powerful that Twitter does that Jack Dorsey is guilty of I don’t buy when he’s on that Joe Rogan show and says he wants to help people and serve people because again bad things have been done with good intentions and I think this is the case I think this is why there’s such a backlash with so many people disappointed.
Jack dorsey’s feet weren’t out of the fire and I agree with that.

Well it is Wednesday, and time to start preparing for my second chemo infusion. That, to me, means some basic germ eradication in obvious places, washing and changing my bedding, and the dogs’ bedding, which lives on my bed, and doing some grocery shopping before my white blood cell count is up for eradication again.
It turns out none of these precautions were not necessary for my first chemo cycle. I amazed my doctor with how well I did. I am not sure if it is because I did so well, or because he expected me to do badly because of the trouble I had getting rid of my drain. When I went in to see him on Day 7, he looked at my blood work and said, “This is from today? You had chemo?” My white blood cell count was 4.9 at that time, normal being 3.5 to 10, and chemo patients getting as low as 0. I was told that I would probably know if my count started getting low, because it makes you very tired, sometimes achey, kind of feeling like you have the flu. That is a very smart design feature, I think, that when you are most vulnerable to illness, you will not feel like doing things that will expose you to it.
Above is a Neulasta On Pro. This is attached to your abdomen or upper arm the day of chemo, and is programmed to inject medication 27 hours later to help boost your white blood cell production. It has flashing lights and beeps and clicks when it injects, and is very entertaining for grandchildren. :)
The nausea that everyone dreads when they are told they will have chemo is pretty well controlled these days with medication. You get two anti-nausea meds by IV before they even start the chemo, and there are three additional take at home meds, one for every day in the cycle, one for daily use in the first few days after chemo, and one for as needed. I never did use the third one. My nausea was mild and seemed to be directly related to food. The thought of eating most things made me nauseous. I kind of lived on toast and cereal for a few days. The vegan options I had made me nauseous to consider, by the way. I have to admit that by the fifth day my little vegan heart was craving chicken. I thought I would die if I didn’t have chicken and rice. So I did.
I also left my self imposed exile. As the days went on, I got to feeling better and better. In the first few days, I was a bit tired and needed to nap frequently, although on Day 4, I babysat my 15-month old grandson all day, and not only did I not get tired, it made me feel terrific. I’d stuck my head out into the world at the grocery store and it appeared that the recent late flu epidemic was subsiding, so on Sunday I actually gathered my courage together and went to church.
I was told by the nurse that administered my chemo that the first treatment is usually not so bad, that it is usually around the third treatment that you start to feel it, just because the assault on your system has worn you down. That’s also when you usually lose your hair. So we will see as we go on, but for the time being, it’s okay.
I am also ten weeks post mastectomy at this point, and honestly, that wasn’t all that bad either. The post-op pain I would classify more as discomfort than actual pain. The drains were an ordeal, and I kept mine for a record amount of time, but they were not painful. They were just annoying. The incisions have healed, although the scars are still pink, but I can look at the surgery site without it bothering me at all. In fact, if I’d had a double mastectomy, I probably could have lived without reconstructive surgery. Since it was unilateral, I will choose to go through that, although it sounds like the worst and most complicated part of the whole treatment.
I wanted to pass this message along for anyone else who might be newly diagnosed with breast cancer and facing any or all of these treatments. I subscribe to a couple of other breast cancer survivor blogs, and one is just full of woe. Absolutely everything she has been through has been intolerably painful, from the mastectomy to the chemo to the expanders in preparation for reconstructive surgery. She even said that the drains were so painful that every movement hurt. I can’t tell you how glad I am that I didn’t read that blog before my own mastectomy experience. It might make a difference that my plastic surgeon is excellent when it comes to pain mitigation. He is David Chang in San Francisco if ever you want any plastic surgery done. When he places an expander, he puts a shot of botulism into the muscle so it won’t spasm and cause pain. When I had my surgery, he administered a three-day local anesthetic. Now I took pain pills after my mastectomy, but you have to understand I do not have a high pain tolerance. In fact I have zero tolerance for discomfort. If I get a teeny tiny pain somewhere, I get out the motrin. So I medicated my post-op discomfort, but I don’t recall ever at any time being laid out by pain.
But here is another odd thing about me. This cancer this is not bothering me. I am not scared. I am not sad. I can’t really tell you why. I do have the most amazing skills in denial of pain, honed over 28 years of living as the parent of a kidnapped child. Perhaps it is nothing more than that. Pain? Block it out. But I don’t think it is. Is it my faith? Mmm, in a very general way that is a huge part of it I think. It’s almost as though I recognized cancer when it came along. “Oh hello. I was expecting you without even being aware of it. You and I have something to do together, don’t we?” It is also true that I am confident of my recovery, at least at this point in time. I have been told that my cancer is “very bad.” It is Stage 3C, the worst you can get before it is deemed uncurable. But at this point, it has all been removed. There were good margins in the surgery, and the PET scan was clear, so any cancer that is lurking in my body is small, cellular. I am confident that the chemo and radiation will eradicate it and I will go on to live another day, to walk down new roads and pass through secret gates I have previously passed by. I also kind of suspect that this cancer might one day kill me, either the breast cancer itself or a secondary cancer as a result of the treatment for the breast cancer. But I don’t expect that will be for awhile yet, and I’m not all that young, so I am not worried about it. I just want to make sure that I do not waste the time I am given.
The other thing is that I honestly don’t think that I am afraid of dying. I think part of that is denial as well. What can’t be cured must be endured, and you might as well do it with a good attitude. That’s how I have lived my life, and it will probably be how I end it as well. Plus I tend to think of death as a great adventure! I have my faith, my beliefs, but even if I am wrong I am not afraid of it. Even if the atheists and humanists turn out to be right and my heart and soul are nothing but biology that cease to exist at death, I won’t know. I won’t care. The only thing that has bothered me is worrying about my family. I don’t want anybody to hurt. I want to make sure everyone has what they need to get through, and to live a happy life. But I have learned that all of that is not really up to me. It’s been part of my life task in recent years to let go of my desire to advise and control circumstances in order to protect my children. I have learned to say, “They will be okay.” And they will be, no matter what. Even if they have some mountains to climb and rivers to swim, they will do it, and they will be okay, and they will be all the stronger for it.
I don’t want to make light of things. I know cancer can be a horrendous disease. I have been reading a book about man with cancer that metastasized, who underwent treatments that were so painful that he could not complete them. His cancer spread to his bones, which as a result broke when he sat on them. And my thought was, if you have to have cancer, breast cancer is much easier. They can just cut the things off. Unless you are planning on having babies, their only function is decorative, and current health law mandates that their decorative function be restored. But even breast cancer and breast cancer treatments can lay people low, I know. I may be one of them yet. I am in week two of twenty weeks of chemo. I should keep quiet until week ten, and then tell you how easy it is or isn’t. But meanwhile, I just wanted to encourage those who are starting out on this journey. Don’t be afraid. You can do it.
Breast Cancer Journey: Don’t be afraid. You can do it. Well it is Wednesday, and time to start preparing for my second chemo infusion. That, to me, means some basic germ eradication in obvious places, washing and changing my bedding, and the dogs' bedding, which lives on my bed, and doing some grocery shopping before my white blood cell count is up for eradication again.
