Welcome to the (non) official
Tumblr media
BLOG!!! (For short LUW)
This AU is my own idea. There may be some questions you may ask yourself, but first let me explain what this blog is for.
This post is the main one, I recommend checking it if you're new to this AU. Here I'll post everything Luci's Underwitch related. Or almost everything. I'll try. (I may have missed some art from my main acc, it is @artsycrow46)
Also, if you want to ask any character anything, on @lucisunderwitchasks you can ask them! Edit: The account was deleted and moved here(i have way too many accounts so I need to do some cleaning from time to time)
Let me give you a brief explanation of the AU. Luci's Underwitch is an AU where all monsters are actually humanized, being called Witches. Frisk is 12 during their travel around the Underground, doing the Pacifist Run, and in the end, accepting the job as the ambassador of Witches, but going 'home' to their dad. Chara fallows them pretty much everywhere, and likes Frisk very much, being besties.
Now several months fast forward, Frisk lives with the Dreemurr Family. Asriel (11 y/o) and Kris(5 y/o) are their siblings, and Toriel takes care of all of them, dating Sans (mhm, I'm one of them Soriel shipers).
Ten years later, Frisk and Asriel are at college, and Kris found out about the Dark Worlds!.. The year now it's 2025, and Kris with Susie are now at their homes, waiting for their siblings to come back from college for Easter! Scarlett is one of Frisk's best friends, maybe even more than friends! And Asriel is still single since he's autistic as fvck.
Toghether, Frisk (with Chara ofc), Kris, Asriel, Susie and Ralsei are going into a steampunk adventure in Frisk's closet.(all of this is happening after Chapter 2. I am going to play the next Chapters when they're out, and add them to another fanfic)
Under the cut you'll have more, and at the end there will be the questions.
'kay, the explanation wasn't that brief. I am going to make a comic about it, but I am still learning about how to draw perspective and hair sooooooo y'all won't get this soon.
I have two fanfics on the way with this AU, and a third one might appear after I finish the second.
The main fanfic is called Lost Souls, The First Part explaining different events from Frisk's life after they got out of the Underground, and The Second Part is going to fallow the two humans into the closet adventure! (The closet has nothing to do with lgbt, but the fanfic surely has a bunch of lgbt in it)
I might upload several chapters in a day, or forget about it for weeks. If anyone wants to read more and I haven't uploaded a new chapter in a long while, uhhhhh tell me? (My dumbass my forget fast)🫡🫡🫡
The link to it? I might add an AO3 link too after I figure out how to use that website-
The second fanfic is called Underground Adventures, fallowing Frisk trough the Underground. This one will be out all at once, not by parts, so it's no worth to put the link here.
Now the third fanfic. It's going to be called Runes And Adventures. It's going to be abt Kris in the dark world, during Chapter 1-2. The Chapters 3-4 are going to get a separate fanfic, since they're gonna be AFTER the steampunk adventure. I am not even working on how to write it or any ideas, since it's going to take a long time, and it's not the biggest deal. I might not write it at all, since you get to see most of Kris's interactions in the game already, but who knows?
NOW!!! The possible questions(since I can't say FAQ)
1. Why is it called Luci's Underwitch?
Well, it was supposed to be called Underwitch. But apparently that exists already so I had to add my name to it. TwT
2. How do the characters look?
Well, if you've been on my main, @luciluck2046, you would see a bunch of fanarts, but I'll post them here too a bit later.
3. Comic?
Not yet. I suck.
4. Inspiration?
I got inspired to make this AU after I finished TOH(The Owl House), and also I liked the idea of humans with magic that UnderMate has. So yeah, I kinda combined those two with Undertale and my creativity, and I got this AU!

Welp, it seems you got to the end of the main post! I might update this often, but who knows? See you later my friend, and have fun reading!

DNI footnotes/explanations.
Realized my DNI got a bit wordy so I decided to put the long text here instead of in the introduction. Full DNI list is in the introduction, and this is only the footnotes for a few select items on the list.
(Footnote 01): "DNI if you ship THOSE ships. Y'know, the ones which involve some form of i*nest or p*dophilia."
I don't want to get into the flipping "pro-ship/con-ship" discourse. If your interested in these relationships not because you like the two together, but because you want to explore these uncomfortable topics (while handling it with care and recognizing yes this is very fucked up and your supposed to be horrified and not thinking "awww isn't it nice how these two characters are in a relationship.") Then yeah, that's fine I guess because unfortunately, these f*cked up things both happened in the past (looking at you Hellenic Egypt and Ancient Greece) and unfortunately still happen now. Not really interested in fan works that depict characters I like as bloody gr*omers but you do you.
However, if you don't tackle that and just ship the two characters like nothing is wrong with the situation, I'm going to think your a weirdo/creep and ask you to not interact with me. At first glance I'll assume your the latter and not the former. If you are the former please make it clear your not the latter. (and no if your the latter and are using the former as a shield you don't get a pass.)
and if your the person who'd say "actually in my AU Frisk is aged up and also a girl so that's why its ok that I ship them with sans" or "um actually Lancer is a teen and not a child bc of all these weird arguments so its ok that I ship him with Susie" or "Actually the Dreemurrs didn't adopt Chara, Asriel and Chara are not siblings, plz ignore how Gerson once referred to the Dreemurr's children in the plural," then I'm just going to look at you weirdly and still ask you to not interact.
Also to clerify, Friskriel and Charisk don't fall under this DNI unless specific extenuating circumstances are in effect. Friskriel is fine unless Toriel adopts Frisk because then it's incest. Charisk is fine, and I guess there's some grey area in "is it moral to date a ghost that used to be your mom's adopted child like 100s years ago" because of I guess that lacks the whole "power dynamic" issue, but if it's a "save ghost pal" situation where Chara's magically alive because ????? and Toriel adopts Frisk then it's incest. (Hey things get complected when one of the characters is dead!) I will give the benefit of the doubt and assume Friskriel and Charisk isn't the incestuous versions unless stated otherwise.
(FOOTNOTE 02): "Kralsei just barely gets a pass until we know what Ralsei is. Potential reveals may push the ship into the DNI zone."
This is only until we get an answer on what Ralsei is. There's still the caveat of "there's some sort of connection between him and Asriel due to the anagram, and characters drawing attention to the resemblance so future reveals may push the ship into the yikesy category." The resemblance is concerning but I'm just not going to touch the ship until we know more about what Ralsei is.
Currently, I just see Kralsei shippers similarly those who shipped Luke and Laia in 1982, as ROTJ isn't out yet so you don't know their siblings. (Except for the Kralsei example we know he's somehow connected to Asriel, while with Luke and Laia it was a retcon in ROTJ and SW fans pre-1983 had no reason to be worried, especially seeing as they f--king kissed.)
I don't think Ralsei is Asriel, but if its revealed that Ralsei is like a personification of Kris's familial love for their brother or something, then that's going to push Kralsei into the "OH GOD YIKES" category and if you still ship them after that reveal, please don't interact.
Still, even the best case scenario for Kralsei is going to feel weird to me just because of Ralsei's connections to Asriel but again I'm withholding judgment until we know what Ralsei is. At best Kralsei's going to be kind of weird at worst it's going to be "OH GOD YIKES!" (and this isn't even taking into account Kris's whole possession situation and how that would impact their consent in any relationship seeing as were controlling them.)
(Footnote 03): Please tag your anti-ship posts as anti-[shipname], or I will likely block you, especially if you just tag the ship name.
I don't really care about shipping discourse and stuff (beyond the above "DNI if you ship yikes ships"), but please if you make anti-ship posts tag them as anti-[ship name here] (E.G "anti-dessriel" or "anti-suselle" or any anti-tag equivalent). If you don't and instead just use the normal ship tag I'll likely block you because I follow that tag for anything but anti-ship posts.
I don't care if you hate a ship that I love, (i may make posts defending a ship/debunking arguments against it without targeting anyone individually), but generally if you hate a relationship I love I don't care. I just don't want to see anti-suselle posts tagged with just "suselle" because I'm following that tag to see anything but anti-suselle content. Just do the basic thing and tag your anti-ship posts that's all I ask.
I used to be pretty loose with blocks, and prefer to only do that in extreme circumstances (basically only if like, p*rn bots, explicit NSFW blogs with untagged nudity, blogs with "yikes ships" who interact with me, or blogs run by TERFs and other phobic weirdos) and I honestly want to stay that way, but inadequate tagging is a new block-able offense.
Return to my introduction here.

While I love Suselle and Ralsei getting flustered over Kris and I want to imagine they might be a thing since Noelle have feelings for Susie (which I believe her feelings are reciprocated) and Ralsei may have feelings for Kris I can't help but think Kris flirty/romantic *optional* gestures towards Ralsei are chosen by the player, therefore it would be a one-sided crush because the player's decisions doesn't matter.
However, it's possible Kris might be developing feelings for Susie because, along other reasons, answering about who would you take to the festival with you Ralsei and Noelle options are said, according to Susie, like Kris is doubting but choosing the Susie option seems a choice made by Kris. Also we don't know how Kris really feels about certain characters because what we think is their opinion is built by our choice, although it's almost clear Kris likes Susie as a friend regardless what we choose
So when Suselle becomes a thing Kris is gonna be hurt, even if they don't love her that way they still have a strong bond with Susie so they could feel like the third heel whenever they hang out with Susie and Noelle
PS No related but being impossible that Ralsei is Kris' brother I want to see Asriel to know if he's similar to the Asriel we meet in Undertale or not

Kris remind us of the previous kids we meet in Undertale: Chara and Frisk. It's not a coincidence to say Kris is likely a mix between them
For example, in the "light" world Kris has Frisk's palette regarding skin and hair, while their clothes are similar to Chara's. In the Dark world, however, Kris appearance's color scheme is similar to Frisk sweater's colors
Tumblr media
Like Chara, they like chocolate, they use knives and they are a dremurr; with the hinted dislike of the player's actions when we decide to use violence, the quietness, and the like of Toriel's pies much like Frisk, not to mention Kris is the anagram of said name. There might be more similarities, but those are the most remarkable ones
And with all the thing of being a mix of Chara and Frisk in some aspects, Kris is their own person, if we have to say they might be closer to Frisk than Chara but still.
The biggest difference is that they're not supposed to be controlled by anyone: in canon Frisk is a mysterious kid of unknown belongings that has little to any personality of their own, without any information about their previous life or relationships.
Kris, however, has an already defined life. Most of the relationships and traits that define Kris are already established when we starts controlling them. They're being used like a puppet, with us pulling out the strings, choosing what we would like to do and yet with Kris having the ultimate decision on the story
They didn't choose this, and what they want don't matter. It's not our fault though; we never chose to control them and our desires don't matter either, because Kris is not supposed to be who we should be playing as. Kris' soul is not theirs, but ours. And Kris' body is not ours, but theirs.
The vessel is the person we are or better said who we want to be, it's the body of our soul and who would choose what we choose, not Kris. Without the player's soul is just a body. Perhaps the creation doesn't reflect the creator's real being, but it's the reflection of our persona
Someone else made the decision of stealing us our body and steal Kris' life in result because according to them

Good Morning Lads
I just thought of a possible plot to Deltarune’s full story and broke my own heart.
The demo? Monday. You go to the dark world every day until Friday. Every day you take a new companion from the classroom with you; Tuesday it will probably be Noelle, Wednesday it might be Jockington or Berdly or that cat on her phone whose name I can’t remember off the top of my head, and so on and so forth. Every time you bring in a new party member the Dark World will have changed drastically and will present you with a series of challenges that ultimately have symbolic relevance to your lightener party member’s life. For example, if Noelle joins your team, it’s likely the Queen will arrive to fight at the end of it all, which addresses the fact that Noelle has a lot of trouble with her mother. Unlike the King, however, the Queen will likely be more reasonable, and it will probably be something Noelle says that finally dissuades her of her crusade. Then, yadda yadda yadda, everyone cheers and breaks open champagne bottles, the day is saved once again, you seal up the fountain, you go home.
Of course, all the while, you’re gathering little bits and pieces about Dark World lore. Why are the kings so alright with being locked away? Why does the dark world change so much? What exactly were the darkeners supposed to do for the lighteners? Is there a reason the dark world presents itself only to those desperately in need of a turn around in their life? You can explore as far as being right next to the answers, but not quite having them. In all your investigation you find out that there’s someone pulling the strings behind it all. Someone who exists between worlds...
But Kris doesn’t care. And a word about Kris---they and Ralsei are the only constants in The Dark World. Of course, we all know exactly why that is: Kris is having problems without Asriel around, lashing out in strange and frightening ways. Ralsei is a temporary substitute for Asriel. He doesn’t come close to the real thing: No, never; but he’s the best Kris can have for a companion. Each time Kris goes to the dark world Ralsei helps them become more and more independent in their life without Asriel.
In all this complicated mess there’s only one thing that remains simple: Your daily playdates with a little skeleton called Papyrus. He’s younger than Kris in this game, young enough to be in Toriel’s class (Though he’s probably just a year away from graduating into Alphys’s class.) Every day you go over to Sans and Papyrus’s house and you play superheroes or racecars or spaceman with him, and all the while you talk about your favorite foods, your favorite games, your family...your memories. And you get just the barest impression that maybe, just maybe, these skeletons aren’t as happy as they’re letting on.
Finally Friday rolls around, the big pompous grand finale. You guide the final classmate through the dark world, they work out whatever personal issues they’re going through, the day is saved, the fountain is sealed, the world is safe forever and ever. Even Ralsei says something to the effect of “We’re okay now. The time of heroes is coming to an end. I’m sorry we couldn’t spend more time together, but...I think you’re ready to go on without me, Kris.” And it’s all one big emotionally satisfying moment, because you know the inhabitants of the dark world are safe. If you were playing as Frisk or Chara, they would be fine with this ending. They saved the world, they can go home happy...but then, you’re not, are you? You’re playing as Kris. The one who knows exactly what it feels like to be pulled by puppet strings. Yes, the inhabitants of the dark world are safe. But they are not yet free.
So comes Saturday. Picture this for a moment with me: Kris wakes up far, far too early. 5am, perhaps. It’s storming outside. The orange leaves on the trees are nearly fallen off to give way to black bark. The town is silent. Empty. ...abandoned. Kris makes their way to the school without any input from the player, and with three strong hits, they break the locked doors wide open. You regain control of Kris for a moment, and you can go to each of the classrooms one last time for some extra dialogue, but ultimately you know what must be done. With no hesitation, Kris goes into the Janitor’s closet, and, as if practiced, jumps down.
The dark world, too, is far too empty and quiet. The areas you went through on each day now seem to have...melted together? A horrible amalgamation, a corruption of what was once pure and good, as if the entire place is screaming “You should not be here.” Finally you reach the castle, the final sanctity of sanity, and at the top floor you face your foe...
...
Papyrus?
No. No, this can’t be right.
Even Kris is taken back by the little boy’s presence. When he turns around, he looks tense, and not a little bit scared. Instantly you’re in a fight with him. The most difficult fight you’ve had so far. He’s silent all throughout. Kris ACTs over and over again, trying to get him to explain why he’s here, what he’s doing, is he the puppet master?! ...after several rounds he finally says something.
“...THIS IS ALL JUST A GAME. THAT’S ALL IT’S EVER BEEN. YOU KNOW THIS.”
“MY DAD...HE KNOWS THIS BETTER THAN ANYONE. HE’S THE ONE WHO MAKES ALL THESE GAMES AFTER ALL.”
“DON’T YOU SEE? IF I DON’T KEEP PLAYING ALONG, HE’LL RESET EVERYTHING.”
“HE’LL CRUMBLE UP THIS WORLD LIKE PAPER AND THROW IT IN THE TRASH, AND THEN HE’LL JUST DRAW A NEW ONE. LIKE THIS ONE DIDN’T EVEN EXIST.”
“...AND WE’LL BE ALL ALONE AGAIN. ALL ALONE WITHOUT YOU, KRIS.”
“AND THAT’S NOT ALL---KRIS, HE’LL GO AFTER YOUR FAMILY TOO!”
“HE’LL GO AFTER YOUR DAD AND YOUR MOM, A-AND...AND ASRIEL, TOO. HE’LL DO SOMETHING TERRIBLE TO ASRIEL IN THE NEW WORLD.”
“SO JUST GO!!!”
“LEAVE!!!”
“...”
“PLEASE, KRIS...YOU’RE THE FIRST PERSON WHO’S EVER LISTENED TO ME.”
“YOU’RE THE FIRST PERSON WHO’S EVER PLAYED WITH ME.”
“I DON’T WANT TO LOSE YOU...”
“PLEASE...I DON’T WANT TO BE ALONE AGAIN...”
His attacks get weaker and weaker as he starts to break down, until finally he collapses. Kris, without any input from the player, goes up to Papyrus and hugs him. They stay like that for a little while, then the little skeleton pulls away and wipes his face. Kris and Papyrus both agree to stand up to the people controlling them, together. So this time, instead of sealing the dark fountain, you actually step inside of it.
From there you’re transported to a completely black room. You have to wander around for a little while before you find a computer---just an ordinary computer, at first, but when you interact with it---
The world turns off.
The world turns back on.
Dr. W.D. Gaster stands in front of you instead.
Of course from here you have a battle, and I’m sure Gaster does a lot of infodumping on why exactly he resets world after world and all that, and Papyrus stands up to him and says why this isn’t right, but even if I knew the Good Doctor’s motives, I wouldn’t want to spoil them, nor do I really have the energy to even really do so right now. All I know is, during the fight, your control over Kris gets weaker and weaker as they start to take their body back. Your choices from there are to try and keep controlling Kris, or to take a step back and let them have their freedom. Either way, Kris eventually wins out. Naturally, depending on how hard you fought, what Kris says to you afterwards changes, but after all is said and done, both you and Gaster are pulled away from the strings. Kris then releases you, the SOUL, to go off into the wild blue yonder...
The final cutscene shows how each of your companions are changing their world in little ways. Things aren’t perfect, not by a long shot, but nothing is ever completely perfect. Susie is shown in some nicer clothes, eating a ham sandwich with Noelle by her side. Noelle and Rudolph are shown talking to Noelle’s mother. (I’m not sure who the other companions will be but whatever they are and their issues are we’ll yadda yadda them.) Papyrus is shown playing superheroes with other kids his age while Sans watches on the stairs. Kris gets the most screentime, of course. They’re sharing a pie with Toriel when there’s a knock on the door---it’s Asgore. Toriel reluctantly lets him in. Asgore apologizes for harassing her before and thanks her for letting him visit. She sighs and says something to the effect of “Yes, well. We both love Kris. One visit on their behalf is not so bad I suppose. But I do expect you to stop sending flowers.” They share pie a little longer, and there’s another knock on the door. “I wonder who that could be...? Kris, do you mind answering it?”
A few beats as Kris goes to answer the door. When it opens...Asriel stands there.
“Hey, mom. Hey, dad. Hey, Kris. Am I too late for pie?”
Roll credits.

deltarune theories including spoilers
on mobile so i cant put a readmore but just scroll past
-first, i dont think kris is a seperate human from frisk and chara. given the timelime of events in deltarune and how it appears to be a seperate universe, kris's "creepy face", mischeovous habits, morbid sense of humor, overwhelming love of chocolate, a tendency to gravitate towards bladed weapons, and THAT ending, im fairly sure kris is just chara grown older. its fairly possible that there was a name change involved somewhere (ie they made up a new name for themselves in undertale when they fell down, calling themselves chara and since that hasnt happened theyre "stuck" with their old name kris in deltarune)
-second, we have no evidence how kris feels about ralsei. its entirely possible kris doesnt care about ralsei at all. kris only reacts independently towards susie. kris reacts with a ! when the party (including susie) is attacked, kris defends susie from the King, kris calls susie their friend to toriel, and kris gets annoyed when monster kid badmouths her. as far as im aware, kris doesnt react to ralsei at all unless you the player make them.
-third, with that in mind, its possible the events of the dark world isnt kris' first "adventure". the cage has seen plenty of use before, and the end where you reach the fountain has nowhere near the same gravitas or narrarive importance as, say, the breaking of the barrier in undertale, despite being visually similar. in a "game" where your choices dont matter (except in the real world where your behavior draws looks and concern), does the "game" itself matter to the protagonist? its possible that kris has gone through many adventures in the past as they were possessed by players, all of them featuring a quirky but lovable cast and strong overtures of friendship, until the player is satisfied and leaves kris alone. they might have seen the events of deltarune play out time and time again, and at this point cant even be bothered to care. lancer even points this out when choosing a team name, that kris looks like they really couldnt care less. kris didnt even tell lancer their name, and lancer goes the whole game without knowing who kris is. in fact, kris has such a non-presence in the events of the dark world, that ralsei and susie prefer to talk to each other instead of kris. if you open the white ribbon chest with susie in your party, and then equip to ralsei, he asks susie if hes cute instead of kris. regardless of whether or not theyve "played" the "game" before, its likely that kris views deltarune as a show for the player controlling them, and interacts with the setting with that view in mind. they dont even react when ralsei looks like theyre brother, someone in the "real world" who they view highly and love deeply. the reveal is only a shock for susie (whos never "played" in one of these "games" before), and the player, who didnt expect to see asriel again after undertale. kris doesnt care. which makes sense if theyve been forced to go through this set up before, and if they dont really care about the dark world at all, because at the end of the day, deltarune isnt for kris. its for you, the player. what kris wants, or feels, their choices? they dont matter at all.
