i don’t WANT to be this person or sound like it but i wish nosferatu wasn’t a ‘trendy’ movie. too many people not understanding gothic horror watching it then get mad when it has gothic horror tropes

girl. imagine yandere! otome isekai reverse harem and isekai'd reader. except isekai'd reader is chronically online and has no sense of shame.
basically reader isekai'd into the evil villain/villainess's body and was in the middle of getting shit talked by some nobles for something the og villain/villainess did in the novel.
"they're such scum... why are they even-"
"erm, what the sigma? I'll have you know I'm super awesome sauce and can rizz up livvy dunne."
the people are all flabbergasted. what were you talking about? did you finally go mad as well?
"p-pardon?"
"stupid locals. none of you get me like freakbob does."
"???"
and obviously, like every other otome isekai, your new behavior gets the attention of the male leads. they've caught wind that you've changed and they had to see it for themselves. what?? the crazy villain/villainess is no longer plotting?!
...
wrong, you're still plotting. just not plotting evil acts for their attention anymore.
"i wonder if i learn how to control the pigeons could i make them shit on people's heads?"
"excuse me?"
but of course they're enchanted by your... eccentric behavior. so what? they're literally the stereotypical male leads. the cold duke of the north with black hair and red eyes, the powerful mage of the high tower, the crazy mad dog crown prince, and the knight no one really cares for.
you know what actually would be crazy though? if they didn't act like the stereotypical male leads. yeah, that's right. the cold duke isn't actually cold and is a huge puppydog. the powerful mage isn't all knowledgeable and only knows how to use one spell that's super overpowered. the knight is loved by everyone. the crown prince is still crazy though.
anyway not important. you go through the same events as the og villain/villainess with them but because you're acting so different. they develop vastly different opinions of you. oh. maybe you're just a silly guy and not the crazy villain/villainess they thought you were. cool.
however one thing they have in common is the fact that they are all madly in love with you. yeah. that's right. they all fell for you. sure, you say weird things sometimes and clearly don't care about the plot but-
"my dear, shall we visit the garden? it will be a change of scenery from the library-"
"what? are you saying I'm not smart enough? I'll have you know that i graduated top of my class of mogger academy in ohio and became the top sigma wolf."
"i-"
"you're giving such beta energy right now😒"
yeah, they can't understand you. at all. but that's okay! you're still so cute and they just absolutely love you! ever since you stopped being the weird evil villain/villainess you actually became likeable! wow! maybe the genre of this novel will shift to a cheesy romance novel?
there's only one problem!
you don't really love them back!
"darling do you want to marry me?"
"you ask me that one more time and I'm cutting your dick off."
ugh... this is so hard...
oh! maybe they'll band together to keep you with them! it's 4 people against one. how will you ever win? they'll definitely get you this time and you won't be able to escape. and they'll finally get the love that they so desperately crave from you.

Morning menance — Lee Heeseung
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 PAIRING: heeseung x sleepy!reader, GENRE: fluff, kinda crack? WC: 0.7k….! SNY— reader being needy and a brat because I love acting like the world revolves around me sorry!
Tumblr media
The room was dimly lit by the soft glow of the nightlight on the bedside table. You stirred in your sleep, the warmth of the blanket and your hoodie suddenly becoming unbearable. With a groggy groan, you tugged at the fabric, pulling the hoodie off and tossing it to the side. Left in your tank top and sleep shorts, you sighed in relief, curling back up and nuzzling into the pillow.
Heeseung stirred beside you, his arm instinctively wrapping around your waist. Even half-asleep, he pulled you close, mumbling something incoherent under his breath before settling back into his slumber.
A few hours later, at the crack of 7 a.m., you blinked awake again. The soft morning light seeped through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. It was way too early for you, but something had woken you up—perhaps a lingering restlessness. You rubbed at your eyes, letting out a small whine, still half-asleep but already feeling the beginnings of your morning fussiness.
Heeseung was still dozing beside you, his face peaceful, but you weren’t in the mood to let him sleep. Turning to him, you gently nudged his shoulder. “Hee,” you mumbled, your voice soft and needy. “Hee…”
He groaned faintly, his brows furrowing as he opened one eye to look at you. “Baby, what’s wrong?” His voice was raspy with sleep, but his hand instinctively reached out to stroke your hair.
“I’m awake,” you murmured, pouting. “I want my phone…”
Heeseung let out a small chuckle, still groggy but finding your early-morning whines adorable. “It’s too early, baby. You should go back to sleep.”
“But I’m awake!” you argued, though it was clear from the way you were blinking lazily that you were still exhausted. “I just wanna check the time… and maybe Heeseung notifications.”
He smirked at the mention of his name. “Oh, so you wake up early just to stalk me, huh?”
You huffed, your pout deepening. “Noooo, Hee. I just wanna see. Please?”
With a dramatic sigh, he reached over to the nightstand and grabbed your phone, handing it to you. “Okay, but only for a minute. Check the time and my notifications, then back to sleep, my little stalker.”
You took the phone eagerly, scrolling for a few seconds before Heeseung leaned over and plucked it right out of your hands again. “That’s enough,” he said firmly, placing the phone back on the table. “You’ll get carried away, and I’m not letting you stay up.”
“But—” you started, your voice trailing off into a whine.
“No buts,” he interrupted, lying back down and pulling you with him. “Come here, baby. You’re too fussy this morning.”
You pouted against his chest, squirming slightly. “I don’t wanna sleep anymore,” you grumbled. “I’m not even tired.”
Heeseung chuckled softly, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “Not tired, huh? Then why are you yawning?” he teased, cradling your head gently.
You let out a small, defeated whimper, nuzzling into his chest as his warmth started to lull you. “I just… nothing..” you attempting to admit that you just wanted him close, your voice muffled against his shirt.
Heeseung’s heart softened instantly. “Oh, my baby,” he cooed, his hand rubbing slow, soothing circles on your back. “You just wanted attention? You could’ve told me. You know I’d give you all of it.”
You sighed, your body relaxing into his as your eyelids grew heavier. Heeseung rocked you gently, his voice low and comforting as he whispered, “Shhh, it’s okay now. You’ve got me. You’re my baby, and I’m not going anywhere. Just close those pretty eyes and sleep a little more. I’ll be right here.”
Your fussiness began to fade as his words and gentle touch soothed you completely. Within minutes, your breathing evened out, and you drifted back to sleep in his arms, feeling safe and loved.
Heeseung stayed awake for a while longer, watching over you with a soft smile. He pressed another kiss to your forehead before whispering, “Sleep well, my favourite attention-seeker. You’ll always have me.”

Idk if your doing requests but if so could I request something where reader and Lando have been together like since they where 19 or something but a long time, and they have a fight that over something stupid but it escalates and Lando snaps frustrated and says maybe they need a brake and tells her to leave. She is heartbroken, and when Lando tries to get in contact with her, she won't answer, worrying Lando as she ignores his calls clearly. Then, Lando freaking out, thinking it's over and the one person in his life that he loved more than anything is gone. Carlos coming over to get some of readers things but Lando is heartbroken more at that, and when the reader comes back to the apartment after no contact for a week, she packs her clothes, but Lando panics and starts apologising. Happy ending, please, though. Sorry if it's long.

The night felt colder than usual, and the warmth of their shared home seemed suffocating. Y/N stood in the kitchen, the soft hum of the refrigerator the only sound as she waited for Lando to come home. He was late again—hours this time—with no texts, no calls.
When the front door finally opened, she didn’t rush to greet him. Instead, she stayed rooted in place, her arms crossed as he walked in, his jacket slung over his shoulder, looking more frustrated than apologetic.
“You’re late,” she said flatly, her voice strained.
He glanced at her, his brows furrowing. “Yeah, I know. The day ran long.”
“That’s it? That’s all you have to say?”
Lando sighed, dropping his bag by the door. “What do you want me to say, Y/N? I’m sorry. Happy?”
Her jaw tightened, her chest already aching from the weight of the argument that hadn’t even begun. “You didn’t even think to call me, did you? Or text? I’ve been sitting here for hours, wondering if you were okay, and you couldn’t even bother to let me know?”
His frustration flared. “I didn’t realize I needed to check in like a teenager. I’m fine, obviously. You could’ve just assumed that.”
Her eyes widened, the sting of his words hitting hard. “Do you even hear yourself? You think it’s too much to let me know you’re not lying in a ditch somewhere? God, Lando, it’s not about checking in—it’s about respect!”
“Respect?” he shot back, his voice rising. “I’ve been busting my ass all day trying to juggle everything, and you’re standing here acting like I don’t care about you because I forgot to text? Give me a break, Y/N.”
Her lip quivered, but she forced herself to stand tall. “This isn’t just about today. You’ve been distant for weeks. I feel like I’m screaming into a void, trying to hold us together, and you’re not even trying anymore!”
“Maybe because I’m tired of feeling like I’m failing all the time!” Lando snapped, his voice louder now, his hands gesturing wildly. “Nothing I do is ever good enough for you!”
Tears filled her eyes, spilling over as her voice cracked. “Don’t you dare turn this on me. You think I like feeling like I’m begging for scraps of your attention? You think I like crying myself to sleep because I don’t know if you even want me around anymore?”
Lando froze for a moment, her words piercing through his anger. But instead of softening, he doubled down, his own frustration clouding his judgment. “What do you want me to say, Y/N? That I’m perfect? That I have all the answers? Because I don’t! Maybe—” He stopped, clenching his fists. “Maybe we just need a break. Maybe that’s what we need to figure this out.”
Her breath caught, the words cutting her like a knife. “A break?” she whispered, her voice trembling. “You want me to leave?”
“I don’t know, okay?” he shouted, the words tumbling out before he could stop them. “Maybe we just need space. I can’t do this anymore—this constant fighting, this pressure.”
Her shoulders shook as she tried to steady herself, but the tears wouldn’t stop. She wiped at her cheeks, her voice breaking. “You know what? Fine. If I’m such a burden to you, I’ll go. I’ll make it easier for you.”
“Y/N, that’s not—”
“No,” she cut him off, her voice rising with the hurt that burned in her chest. “You don’t get to say things like that and take them back. You don’t get to hurt me like this and then act like it’s nothing. I’ve been here, Lando. I’ve been here for you. Through everything. And now you’re telling me I’m too much for you?”
Her words hit him like a freight train, but his pride kept him silent. He didn’t know how to fix it, didn’t know what to say.
She shook her head, tears still streaming down her face. “You want space? Fine. Have it.”
Y/N stormed past him, grabbing her keys and bag. Lando turned, his heart sinking as she reached the door.
“Y/N, wait—”
But she didn’t. She slammed the door behind her, leaving him standing alone in the silence of their home.
The regret hit him almost immediately, but by the time he picked up his phone to call her, she was already gone.
--
Title: Cracks in Forever
Lando barely slept that night. Every time he closed his eyes, he saw her face—tear-streaked, devastated, and broken. He replayed the argument over and over, his words echoing in his mind like a cruel reminder of his failure.
“Maybe we just need a break.”
How could he have said that? How could he have pushed her away when she was the only constant in his life?
His phone sat on the coffee table, the screen lighting up with unanswered texts he had sent throughout the night. He had called her twenty-seven times—each one going to voicemail.
By morning, the bags under his eyes were heavy, his chest aching as if he’d been physically hit. He stared at his phone, scrolling through their old messages. He read her texts from the last few weeks, the ones he had brushed off or responded to half-heartedly.
Y/N: Good luck today! Call me after, okay? ❤️ Y/N: Hey, are you alright? You seemed off earlier. I’m here if you need to talk. Y/N: I miss you, Lando.
He clenched his jaw, tears blurring his vision. He had been so blind, so caught up in everything else that he hadn’t realized how much she had been hurting.
He hit her contact again, pressing the phone to his ear.
Ring… ring…
“Hey, it’s Y/N. Leave a message.”
The beep sounded, and his voice cracked as he spoke. “Y/N, please. Just… please call me back. I know I messed up, okay? I know I hurt you. But I can’t— I can’t do this without you. I need to know you’re safe. Just… let me know you’re okay. Please.”
He ended the call, his hands shaking as he set the phone down.
By the second day, his panic had reached a breaking point. She hadn’t been to their place, hadn’t responded to any of his messages, and her social media was silent. He sat on the edge of their bed—the bed that still smelled faintly of her perfume—and buried his face in his hands.
The phone rang in his hand, but it wasn’t her. It was Max.
“Mate, are you okay?” Max’s voice was cautious.
“No, I’m not okay!” Lando snapped, his voice breaking. “She’s not answering, Max. She’s not answering, and I don’t know where she is, and I don’t know if she’s okay.”
“Have you tried her friends? Her family?”
“I don’t want to drag them into this,” Lando said, wiping at his face. “This is my fault. I need to fix it.”
“You can’t fix anything if you break yourself in the process,” Max said gently. “Just give her time.”
“I don’t have time, Max!” Lando shouted. “What if she thinks I don’t love her? What if she thinks I meant it when I said we needed a break?”
“Didn’t you?”
The question made him pause, his breath hitching. “No. God, no. I was angry. I was frustrated. I didn’t mean any of it.”
“Then tell her that. Keep trying. She loves you, Lando.”
Lando nodded even though Max couldn’t see him. “She did. I don’t know if she does anymore.”
That night was worse than the first. Lando sat on the couch, his head in his hands, the silence of their apartment a cruel reminder of what he had lost. He picked up his phone and called her again.
Ring… ring… beep.
“Y/N,” he choked out, his voice shaking. “Please. Please pick up. I’m losing my mind over here. I don’t know where you are, and I’m scared. I’m scared I’ve lost you, and I can’t—” His voice broke, a sob escaping him. “I can’t lose you. I love you. I love you so much. I don’t care about the fight, I don’t care about anything but you. Just… just come home. Or call me. Please, Y/N. I’m begging you.”
He hung up, his shoulders shaking as he buried his face in his hands. For the first time in years, Lando Norris cried. He cried for the girl who had been by his side since they were teenagers, the girl he had built a life with, the girl he had pushed away.
And he cried for the possibility that he might never hear her voice again.
--
The doorbell rang, and Lando’s heart skipped a beat, though he couldn’t explain why. He wasn’t expecting anyone. It was too early for anyone to check in on him.
But when he opened the door, there stood Carlos Sainz, a look of concern etched on his face. His eyes softened when he saw Lando, but there was a quiet tension in his posture.
“Carlos…” Lando started, his voice hoarse from the sleepless nights.
Carlos looked at him, his jaw tightening. “I’m here to grab some of Y/N’s things.”
Lando stepped back, letting Carlos in. His apartment felt emptier than it ever had before, each room echoing with the absence of Y/N’s warmth. Carlos entered, his gaze scanning the space, lingering on the couch where they had spent so many nights together, the kitchen counter where they’d cooked meals, the small details that once made the place feel like a home.
“You’re really going through with this, huh?” Carlos asked quietly, his voice laced with disappointment.
Lando swallowed hard, his eyes avoiding Carlos’s. He had never wanted it to come to this. He never thought it would. But now, standing here in the emptiness of the apartment, the reality of the situation hit him harder than ever.
“I didn’t mean for any of this to happen,” Lando muttered, his hands shaking. “I didn’t mean to push her away, Carlos. But she… she wouldn’t talk to me. She just… she left. She hasn’t even answered my calls.”
Carlos shook his head, his face hardening with frustration. “You don’t get it, do you, Lando?”
Lando looked up, surprised by the venom in Carlos’s tone. “What do you mean?”
“She’s my childhood friend, man,” Carlos snapped, his voice rising. “I’ve known her since we were kids. I’ve seen her go through everything, and I’ve watched her give you everything, and you—you—treated her like this? Like she’s disposable?”
Lando’s chest tightened at the accusation, but Carlos wasn’t done.
“I’ve seen the way she looks at you, how much she cares for you,” Carlos continued, his voice breaking as he ran a hand through his hair. “And you—you—just pushed her away like she was nothing. Like she wasn’t the person who was always there for you, who stuck by your side through everything, through all your races, all your highs and lows.”
Lando’s heart sank. He could feel the weight of Carlos’s words sinking deep into him. He knew he had screwed up, but hearing it like this—coming from someone who knew Y/N like Carlos did—made him realize just how badly he had messed up.
“I didn’t mean for her to think she wasn’t enough,” Lando whispered, his voice barely audible. “I love her. I always have. I just… I don’t know what happened. I was frustrated, and I said things I didn’t mean. I didn’t want to hurt her, Carlos. I swear to you.”
Carlos’s gaze softened, but his disappointment was still evident. He sighed heavily, his shoulders slumping. “You hurt her, Lando. And now, you have to fix it. But she’s not just going to come back because you say sorry. You’re going to have to fight for her. And honestly, I don’t know if you’re ready to do that.”
Lando looked down at the floor, tears welling up in his eyes as the guilt hit him full force. He knew Carlos was right.
Carlos reached for the duffel bag by the door, picking it up and unzipping it. “I’m just getting her stuff. I told her I’d bring it by. But you…” He paused, looking Lando in the eye, his voice quiet but firm. “You need to think long and hard about what you want. And if you want her back, you need to prove it. Because right now? You don’t deserve her. Not after what you did.”
Lando felt his heart crack at the truth in Carlos’s words, and his voice trembled as he whispered, “I know.”
Carlos hesitated for a moment, then turned and grabbed a few of Y/N’s things from the shelf, placing them into the bag. He looked back at Lando one last time before heading for the door.
“You’ll figure it out, mate,” Carlos said quietly, his voice softer now. “But you’d better start trying, and fast. She won’t wait forever.”
Lando nodded, unable to say anything. He was already too choked up, the weight of the past few days crashing down on him.
Carlos walked out the door, leaving Lando standing there, broken and alone.
Lando stared at the door for a long time after Carlos left, his thoughts swirling, the pain of losing Y/N gnawing at him from the inside out. He needed her. He couldn’t live without her. But the real question was—would she still want him when he finally realized just how much she meant to him?
And how could he prove to her that he was worthy of a second chance?
--
It had been a week since she left. A week of silence. A week of empty calls and unanswered messages. A week of Lando spiraling, his world without her a place he didn’t recognize anymore.
Now, here he was—sitting on the couch, waiting. He knew she would come back at some point. Y/N never stayed away for too long. But the anxiety had eaten away at him, each passing day a reminder of how badly he had screwed up.
The door opened, and he could hear the soft click of her heels on the hardwood floor. His heart skipped a beat, but when he looked up, his breath hitched in his throat.
Y/N was standing there, her back straight, her face expressionless. In her hands was a suitcase—half-filled.
She was packing.
“Y/N…” Lando’s voice broke as he stood up. His chest was tight, his hands trembling slightly. “What… what are you doing?”
Y/N didn’t answer. She simply moved past him and into their bedroom, not sparing him a glance. Lando’s stomach twisted.
“Please, Y/N,” he pleaded, his voice cracking. He followed her to the bedroom, his eyes not leaving her. “Please, don’t do this. We can fix this. We can talk.”
She didn’t respond, not even a flicker of acknowledgment. It was like he wasn’t even there.
Lando stood by the door, frozen. He watched as Y/N picked up clothes from their closet and threw them into the suitcase without a single word. Each piece she grabbed felt like another piece of his heart being ripped away, like she was disappearing right before his eyes.
“Y/N, please… talk to me.” His voice shook with desperation, but she still said nothing.
Tears welled up in his eyes as he stepped closer, his chest tightening with the fear that she was really going to leave.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered. “I know I hurt you. I know I was a mess. I should’ve been better. I should have been better for you. I shouldn’t have said those things, and I shouldn’t have pushed you away. I was angry, and I didn’t know how to handle it, but I swear to you… I swear I love you. I always have. And I need you. Please, please don’t leave me.”
Y/N didn’t stop packing. She moved mechanically, and the silence between them felt suffocating.
“I was scared,” Lando continued, his voice growing quieter, more raw. “I was scared that I wasn’t enough for you. That one day, you’d realize you deserve someone better than me. And I pushed you away because I didn’t know how to let you in. But I do love you. I do. And I’ll do anything to prove it to you. Anything.”
She picked up another piece of clothing, folding it with such precision that it made Lando’s heart shatter.
“No, no, no…” Lando whispered, panic rising in his chest. “Please, Y/N. Don’t do this. Please, I can’t lose you. I know I’ve been an idiot. I know I hurt you. But you are my heart, and I can’t let you walk out of that door without knowing how much I need you. Without you, I’m nothing.”
He was shaking now, the weight of his words settling into the pit of his stomach. His voice was barely above a whisper, thick with emotion.
“I can’t breathe without you,” he choked out, his eyes glossy with tears. “I’ve been waking up every day wondering how I could have been so stupid, so selfish. But all I know is that I love you. I need you. And I don’t want to spend another day without you in my life. So, please… please don’t leave me. I’ll fix it. I’ll do whatever it takes to make it right. Just… don’t walk out that door. Please, don’t leave me alone.”
The words hung in the air, and for a long moment, there was nothing but the sound of her folding clothes and his heavy breathing.
Finally, Y/N stopped moving. She didn’t turn to face him, but her shoulders trembled, and Lando could feel the weight of the silence press against him.
“I know you’re angry,” Lando continued softly, his voice breaking. “And I understand that. But I can’t lose you. I can’t lose the one person who knows me better than anyone. The one person who loves me no matter what. You’ve been my constant, Y/N. And I don’t deserve you, but I’ll do everything to show you that I want to be better. For you. I’ll be better, just… don’t leave.”
There was a long silence. Then, almost imperceptibly, Y/N set down the last piece of clothing in the suitcase and turned to face him. Her eyes were glossy, but she said nothing.
Lando took a step closer, his heart pounding in his chest. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry for everything I’ve done. But I can’t imagine my life without you. You’ve always been my best friend. You’ve always been there for me. I don’t deserve you, but please… please don’t walk away. I need you more than anything.”
And that was when Y/N finally broke.
A single tear slid down her cheek as she looked up at him, her eyes full of so much pain that it shattered him.
“You hurt me, Lando,” she whispered, her voice small but raw. “You hurt me so badly. I don’t know if I can just forget that. I don’t know if I can go back to what we were. But I…” She choked on the words. “I love you, too. I just… I don’t know if I can trust you again.”
Lando’s breath hitched. He couldn’t lose her. He couldn’t.
“I swear, I’ll never hurt you again,” he promised, his voice full of sincerity. “Please… let me show you. Let me prove it to you.”
Y/N wiped her eyes, still unsure, but there was something in Lando’s eyes that made her pause. Something raw. Something that made her think—maybe this wasn’t the end.
“I don’t know if I can just forget what happened,” Y/N said, her voice shaky. “But I do want to try again. I want to believe you, Lando. I want to believe that we can fix this.”
Lando’s heart soared as he rushed to her side, pulling her into a tight embrace.
“I swear, I’ll spend every single day proving it to you,” he whispered into her hair, his tears falling freely now. “I’ll make it right. I’ll never take you for granted again. I love you, Y/N. I love you so much.”
And for the first time in days, she let herself breathe. She hugged him back, the warmth of their embrace a promise that maybe—just maybe—they could get through this together.
It wasn’t perfect. But they had each other. And that was all that mattered.
--
It had been a few days since everything had fallen into place. Y/N and Lando were slowly rebuilding their bond, piece by piece, and while the tension between them had melted, something was still different. The scars of the fight remained, but Y/N wasn’t thinking about it anymore. The past was behind them. She was focused on the present.
But Lando? Lando still couldn’t shake the feeling that any moment, she might walk out again. It wasn’t that Y/N had given him a reason to doubt her, but the guilt gnawed at him constantly. He had hurt her so deeply, and no matter how many times she reassured him, the fear lingered. What if one day, she grew tired of him? What if he wasn’t enough for her?
Tonight was supposed to be just another quiet night in. Lando had arranged a cozy dinner, hoping to make her smile, to show her how much he loved her. He’d gone all out, buying a fancy dress he thought she’d look amazing in. Maybe, just maybe, if he gave her something beautiful, he could make up for the ugliness of the past.
When Y/N walked into their living room, he was holding the dress in his hands, eyes brimming with hope.
“Lando,” she smiled softly, as she entered, sensing the warmth in the air. “What’s this?”
“Just—just something for you,” he said, a little shy, as he handed her the dress. “I know it’s a bit much, but I thought… well, you’d look incredible in it.”
Y/N laughed, though there was something oddly sweet and bittersweet in her eyes. She looked up at him, still feeling the remnants of their past conversation, yet no longer letting it weigh on her.
She took the dress from his hands and examined it, grinning at the fabric.
“You really don’t have to do this,” she said, her tone playful but tender. “I’m happy just being here with you.”
Lando felt his heart race. He wanted to keep proving himself, to show her how sorry he was. But deep down, his insecurities kept churning. What if this wasn’t enough? What if it wasn’t going to be enough?
Y/N noticed the flicker of unease in his eyes. She stepped closer, putting the dress down on the couch.
“Lando…” she began, her voice soft but firm. “You don’t need to keep doing this. You don’t need to keep going all out just to make me happy. You don’t need to prove anything.”
Lando froze, the words hanging in the air, yet it felt like the ground had been ripped out from under him.
“But I want to,” he said quietly, as though trying to explain the reason behind his actions, his voice trembling. “I need to make it up to you, Y/N. You deserve so much better than how I treated you.” His voice cracked with emotion. “I don’t know how to fix it. But I need to make it right.”
Y/N’s heart ached, seeing how much he was carrying. She stepped forward, reaching for his hand, but his nerves kept him at arm's length.
“Lando, I’ve already forgiven you. I don’t need grand gestures or endless apologies. I just need you,” she said, her voice steady and full of love. “I want you. Just the way you are.”
Lando looked up, but the pain and doubt still clouded his eyes. He shook his head, feeling as though he could never do enough to atone for the way he had hurt her.
“No, I don’t deserve you,” Lando whispered, his voice barely above a sob. “I’ve been an idiot. I hurt you, and I don’t know how to forgive myself. Every time I see you, I feel like I’m not enough. That one day, you’ll leave. And I—”
Before he could finish, Y/N launched herself into his arms. Her legs wrapped around his waist, and she buried her face into his neck.
“Stop,” she whispered softly, her hands gently brushing his hair. “You’re my baby, Lando. I’m not going anywhere. I love you. Don’t you see that?”
Lando froze for a moment, his whole body tensing as her words hit him like a wave. Her voice was so tender, so sure, that it broke through the wall of self-doubt he had built around himself. He didn’t know why he had been so scared.
“I need you to stop thinking I’m going to leave,” she continued, her voice firm and comforting at the same time. “You’re my home. You always have been. I’m not going anywhere, Lando. I love you so much, it hurts. So, please, stop trying so hard.”
Lando’s heart melted in her arms as he clung to her, desperate to make sense of everything he had been feeling. “But I hurt you, Y/N. I hurt you so badly. I didn’t know how to fix it.”
Y/N tilted his face to look at her, her fingers gently wiping away his tears. “We’re fixing it, Lando. We’re here. Together.” Her voice softened even further. “I’m not going anywhere. You’re my world. You’ve always been. And nothing’s going to change that.”
Lando’s breath hitched as he buried his face in her hair, holding her tighter, like if he let go for even a second, she might disappear again.
“I’m so sorry,” he whispered against her skin, the words a soft plea in the air. “I promise, I’ll do better. I’ll be better for you. I swear.”
Y/N laughed, the sound like music to his ears, and pulled back just enough to look into his eyes. “You don’t have to be perfect, Lando. You just need to be you. And that’s more than enough for me.”
Lando looked at her with a mixture of love and relief in his eyes, finally feeling like he could breathe again.
She smiled, her hands cupping his face gently. “You’re mine, Lando. Forever. I’m not going anywhere.”
“I love you,” he whispered, his voice breaking. “I love you so much. I’m so sorry for ever making you doubt that.”
Y/N kissed him softly, then pulled back just a little, her smile soft and content. “I love you, too, Lando. Always.”
And for the first time in days, Lando believed it. He believed in them. He believed in her. And as he held her close, he finally let go of the fear that had gripped him for so long. She wasn’t leaving. They were in this together.
Forever.

“Shh, baby. Don’t want your parents to hear now, do we?”
You truly couldn’t believe that it was happening—that Spider-Man was in your room with his slender fingers wrapped ever so perfect around your throat.
You’ve always wanted this from the day you first saw him, on the day he saved a lift full of people from falling down and crashing to the ground. You were one of those who unfortunately got stuck inside the lift too, which was the traumatic onset of your tiny crush on him.
No one knew who was behind that mask, yet his suit clad figure was a sight to see, his build lean and slightly muscular, not to mention he smelled brilliant (a little something you gathered when he saved you).
To add to it, his ever so attractive voice always grasped everyone’s attention, you thought he was funny too, which is exactly why you ended up making a poster full of glitter saying:
Choke me, Spider-Man!
It was a silly joke, albeit you’d definitely be lying if you say you didn’t get wet dreams about the superhero, because you did. Detailed ones at that.
Maybe carrying the poster with you at all times was a stretch but you did it anyway, granted that your city was full of crimes and spotting Spider-Man was an easy task, which is why you proudly held up the poster in the crowd whenever you saw him, after he fought with the villain that is.
The people around you laughed, but it wasn’t mocking, it was more of an amused laugh, and you could have sworn you noticed spidey look your way, before swinging away, much to your dismay.
This went on a few times. You were practically waving the poster frantically when it was the fourth time, yet he didn’t pay you attention of any sort, leaving you dejected as you dragged yourself back home from Uni, chuckling at your state.
Crush on a superhero?
Pathetic.
He’s loved by countless people all over the world, what makes you think he’d have time to give you even a sliver of his attention when he’s so busy saving the world?
Clicking your tongue, you threw the crumbled poster in the trash can of your bedroom, dimming the lights as you sat down on your bed, ready to change into your nightwear before opting to sleep to take your mind off things.
Just then, a loud sound of knocking on your window caught your attention, which was funny considering you lived up on a pretty high floor in your apartment building. You thought that it must be a bird, still, you decided to open the curtains to check it out.
Shock would be an understatement to explain what you were feeling the second your eyes laid on the person right outside your window.
The reason for your sour mood, or rather, the reason you spent hours trying to ease the pent up frustration in you each night, moaning out with need, was hanging by your window.
“Oh god,” you breathed out, brain short circuiting for a few seconds before you shook your head, opening the windows for him to come in.
Who knew Spider-Man would actually care enough to notice you?
Then you realized just how awkward the situation was, and you didn’t have much to say anymore now that he was standing right in front of you, looking around as if he was inspecting your room.
“Spider man,” you breathed out, and he chuckled.
His attention was on you now, walking closer to you, “so, you’re the one who wanted to be choked by me,” he said smoothly, and you couldn’t help but shamelessly gawk at his figure, mouth watering at the sight.
“Uhm—I mean, holy fuck you’re actually here,” you tried to voice out your thoughts, but they were a mess, which only caused him to chuckle at your shocked state.
“Didn’t you want me here, baby?” He asked and you felt your knees buckling at the deep tone of his voice.
You took another step back, only to lose balance and trip. But good for you, your spidey was quick to shoot his web on your silky night blouse, pulling you close and right into his arms.
He smelled so good.
“Careful. We don’t want you hurting your pretty face,” he whispered, tracing his glove clad finger along your jaw, gripping your chin when he noticed how your body had gone still, “deep breaths, babe.”
“Are you gonna fuck me?” You asked, voice coming out in a low whine, eyes twinkling with hope.
He chuckled, pulling his mask up which had you bubbling with anticipation, you really wanted to see what he looked like. However, he stopped a little too soon for your liking, only exposing his lips, leaning in to mumble against your own.
“I’m gonna fuck the life out of you,” he whispers, a gasp leaving your lips as you pulled him closer into a rushed kiss.
He was quick to take over, kissing you harder as he pushed you down on your bed, you could feel his fang like canines biting down on your bottom lip, “undress, quick,” he ordered, and you fumbled while getting everything off your body.
Your cheeks were warm, your eyes on his figure, which was now devoid of his costume, faint abs and strong muscles on display for you, but your mouth practically salivated at the sight of his cock, thick and hard.
Just when you sat up to touch him, he grabbed your wrist, pushing them up your head and shooting webs to tie them, making sure they didn’t move.
You never knew you’d be into web-play but here you are, getting wet by being constrained by webs.
“Please,” you begged in hopes that he’d touch you, or do something, anything.
“So needy, aren’t you?” He clicks his tongue, his fingers caressing your cunt, collecting your wetness, “so wet already,” he smirked, “wanna be fucked all night, huh?” He asked, continuing working his fingers between your legs, arousal leaking from your cunt.
His other hand was wrapped up around your neck, fingers tightening enough for you to gasp, eyes rolling to the back of your head as you felt lightheaded with the whole situation, but you couldn’t have asked for anything better.
He was so good with his fingers, thumb pads circling your clit while two digits plunged in and out of you, eliciting moans out of you.
“Shh,” he whispered, his hold around your neck tightening which caused you to open your mouth, giving him the perfect opportunity to lean in and spit in your mouth, watching the glob travel down your tongue till you gulped it down, earning a praise out of him, “good girl.”
He pulled back right when your body started shaking with the orgasm building up in your lower abdomen, his hold on your neck loose to let you breathe some more before he took it to the next level.
He ran his lips down your neck, sucking harshly as he lined his cock to your eager folds, your expression blissful and your entrance so wet, it made it easy for him to bottom out, “so fucking pretty,” he groaned out.
His voice strained as he started fucking you into your mattress, his power was evident with how precise and hard his thrusts were. It was a lifetime opportunity for you, and you wished to savour every second of it as you wrapped your legs around his slender waist, pulling him even closer and deeper in your pussy.
He hit your spot over and over again, “cream my cock like a good girl, baby,” he rasped out, his own orgasm approaching.
You couldn’t hold back anymore, with his fingers still gripping your neck, the lack of air was evident but it somehow made you feel as if you were floating with unadulterated bliss around you as you finally reached your state of euphoria, coming undone on his cock, exactly when he filled you up with his cum, mixing it with yours as he emptied himself in you.
You whined when he pulled back, getting dressed after draining you, “you’re leaving?” You asked, frowning.
“Gotta save the world now, pretty,” he whispered, removing his webs from your wrists before pecking your lips and rushing out of the window, leaving you dazed.
Maybe making the poster wasn’t such a bad idea after all.

Always Been You
“Tell me this isn’t a one time thing,” you mumble against his tan skin as you cuddle closer to him.
“This is definitely not a one time thing,” he reassures you, his voice soft yet firm.
Tumblr media
Pairing: Tyler Owens x fem! Reader
Genre: romance/smut, kinda fluff at the end
Word count: 3180
Summary: Tyler is your childhood best friend and just so happens to be your first love, the one man you can’t get over. The feeling is mutual, and after almost screwing it up, he makes the first move.
a/n: It fr is a Glen Powell summer, twisters has brought back my obsession with him 😭 I do take requests so send any you have my way! Hope you enjoy 😊
The summer breeze carried a hint of coolness as the sun began its descent, casting a warm glow over the lake. You shivered slightly, feeling the goosebumps rise on your arms. You and Tyler had been coming to this spot by the lake since you were kids, sharing secrets and dreams under the shimmering stars. Now, in your early 20s, your friendship had only grown stronger, but something else was simmering just beneath the surface—something you were both afraid to acknowledge.
Tyler, ever attentive, noticed your subtle shiver and instinctively pulled you into his embrace. It felt natural, right, and you sat in comfortable silence, the warmth of your bodies blending as the sun continued its slow descent. In that moment, you felt an overwhelming surge of emotions—love, desire, and a longing that had been building up for years. Snuggling into his chest you sigh contentedly.
The familiar scent of his cologne fills your nostrils, making your heart race. His strong arms around you, the steady rise and fall of his chest, the sound of his heartbeat, it was all so familiar.
Tyler tightens his arms around you, holding you closer. He rested his chin on top of your head, his breath tickling your hair as he began to speak, his voice soft and earnest.
“Can I ask you something?” You look up at him with curiosity in your expression.
“Yeah? What’s up?” He pulls back slightly to meet your eye, his gaze is intent and sincere. His hands slide down to your hips as you turn to face him, his thumbs absentmindedly tracing circles on your skin.
”We’ve been friends for so long now,” he begins, pausing to gather his thoughts. “And lately.. I’ve been feeling different.” His fingers grip you tighter, his thumbs still tracing lazy circles on your hips.
”Ty? What do you mean?” Your eyebrows scrunch as you look at him with worry. “Different how?” You move out of his arms he looks taken aback. He lets out a sigh and rubs the back of his neck nervously.
”Damnit, I'm not good at this,” he mutters, more to himself than to you. He looks at you for a moment, his eyes filled with a mix of vulnerability and determination. “I mean I’ve been having… thoughts. About you. Thoughts that maybe we shouldn’t be friends anymore.” He groans at the realization of what he said.
Your eyes fill with hurt as you stand up, “Why?” His hands move to grasp your arm. You yank your arm away, “Why are you saying that?” Tyler winces at your reaction, he hadn’t meant to hurt you.
He runs a hand through his hair, a frustrated look on his face. “I didn’t mean it like that, i just mean…” he struggles to find the right words. “I don’t want to just be friends anymore.” He takes a step towards you, his hand going to your cheek.
“I want.. more than that. He says softly, his eyes pleading. “I want us to be… more” you relax a sigh escaping your parted lips.
”More than just friends?” You giggle, he truly is bad at this, he made you think that things were over between you both.
Tyler gives a sheepish smile, his shoulders relaxing at your light-hearted reaction. His thumb gently brushes your cheek. “Yeah, more than just friends,” he confirms, a hint of relief in his voice.
“I’m sorry I didn’t phrase it well,” he says, a hint of a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. “But I really do mean it… I want us to be more than friends.” He steps closer to you, his other hand resting on your hip. “I want you,” he murmurs, his eyes never leaving yours.
You wrap your arms around his neck, standing on your tippy toes as you pull yourself closer to him. “I want you too,” you whisper into his ear. “You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for you to make a move.”
Tyler’s heart races as you pull yourself closer to him, your words sending shivers down his spine. He wraps his arms around your waist, pulling you flush against him. His eyes darken with desire as he gazes down at you.
“Really?” he whispers, his voice gruff. “You’ve been waiting?” He leans down, his lips hovering just above your ear. “How long?” he murmurs before gently nipping at your earlobe.
”Years...” You moan softly as his hands explore your body. “How long are you going to make me wait for a kiss?” You mumble. Tyler growls in response, his grip tightening on your waist. He pulls you even closer, his chest pressed against yours.
“You want a kiss?” he teases, his lips hovering just millimeters from your own. “All you had to do was ask.” He leans in, his breath hot against your skin. “But I must warn you, once I start, I might not stop.”
You press your lips to his in a passionate kiss, your hand going to the back of his head. Pulling away you whisper against his lips “Who said I would want you to?” Your other hand sliding down his back as you lean in for another kiss.
Tyler lets out a guttural moan as your lips meet his in a passionate kiss. His hands grip your hips tighter, fingers digging into your soft flesh. He leans into the kiss, his tongue seeking entrance between your parted lips. He pushes you backwards, backing you up against a nearby tree.
Breaking off the kiss, he trails kisses down your jawline, nipping at the sensitive skin of your neck. “You’re driving me insane sweetheart” he whispers huskily. You moan softly as he trails hickeys down your exposed skin.
”Tyler..” you moan his name as he slides his hands up your shirt. His name falling from your lips in a soft moan sets his blood on fire. He continues to kiss and nip at your neck, his hands roaming beneath your shirt, his touch leaving a trail of fire on your skin.
He sucks a particularly sensitive spot just under your ear, causing you to arch into his touch. “Baby, you don’t know what you’re doing to me,” he groans against your skin. You press your fingers into his back, pulling him closer to you.
”Then show me what I’m doing to you,” You mumble into his ear. Your words against his ear send a jolt of electricity down his spine.
Without warning, he lifts you off the ground, gripping your thighs and pressing you against the tree. He devours your mouth in a heated kiss, his tongue exploring the seam of your lips, seeking entry.
His hands grip your thighs tighter as he grinds against you, the growing bulge in his jeans pressing against you. “This,” he murmurs, his breath ragged, “this is what you do to me.”
”Fuck,” you moan, your head falling back against the tree.
Encouraged by your response, Tyler deepens the kiss, his tongue dancing with yours as he moves his hands to cup your breasts. You gasp into his mouth, the sensation sending waves of pleasure through your body. His thumbs flick over your hardened nipples, making you squirm against him.
You wrap your legs around his waist, your core pulsing with desire. He breaks the kiss to gaze into your eyes, which are glazed with lust. "Take me home," you murmur, your voice thick with need. "Now." Tyler's smile widens, his eyes dark with passion.
"With pleasure," he whispers, scooping you up into his arms and carrying you away from the lake, towards the promise of a night filled with long-suppressed passion and the unraveling of a love story that had been waiting to be told.
The short drive home seems like an eternity as you can't resist the urge to explore Tyler's arousal. With the car still moving, you unbuckle your seatbelt and slide closer to him, your hand deftly moving to the bulge in his jeans. Tyler's eyes widen in surprise, but he doesn't protest.
Instead, he groans as you unbutton his pants and pull out his hard, throbbing erection. You lean in, wrapping your soft, warm lips around the tip of his length. His grip tightens on the steering wheel as you begin to suck, your tongue swirling around him in a way that makes his hips jerk involuntarily.
The car swerves slightly, but you don't stop, taking him deeper into your mouth. The sensation of his smooth skin against your tongue and the taste of him is intoxicating. Tyler's breathing turns ragged as he watches you in the dim light of the car, his eyes dark with desire.
He adjusts his position, allowing you better access, and you eagerly take advantage, bobbing your head in a rhythm that has him moaning with pleasure. You feel powerful, knowing you're the one driving him wild with need, and you can't wait to feel him lose control completely in your arms.
With a final, desperate thrust, Tyler's body goes rigid as he reaches his climax, his warm release filling your mouth. You swallow eagerly, savoring the taste of him as he gasps your name.
He parks the car with trembling hands, and the moment it's in park, he pulls you over to straddle him, his hands tangled in your hair as he deepens the kiss. His hips buck up into you, his arousal still palpable against your center. "Inside," he whispers, his voice hoarse with passion. You nod eagerly, not breaking the kiss as you both fumble with the car door.
The anticipation is almost unbearable as you stumble towards the house, your hands roaming over each other's bodies, unable to get enough. The door slams shut behind you, echoing through the quiet night as you both race to the bedroom, shedding clothes along the way.
The air is thick with desire, and the promise of a night filled with passionate exploration and the discovery of each other's bodies. As you fall onto the bed, you know that nothing will ever be the same between you again, but you're ready for this new chapter in your relationship. The love that's been simmering for years is finally ready to burn bright and fiercely, and you can't wait to see where it will take you.
The room is filled with the sound of your moans and his grunts as Tyler's strong body covers yours, his eyes never leaving yours as he pushes into you. He takes his time, savoring every inch of your wet heat, filling you completely. His hips move in a steady rhythm that has you clutching the bedsheets, your legs shaking with the intensity of each thrust.
Your eyes roll back in pleasure as he hits that perfect spot, your breath hitching in your throat. "More," you beg, and he obliges, his pace increasing, his strokes growing more urgent. Your walls tighten around him, your body desperately trying to hold onto the feeling of him deep inside you.
His hands grip your hips, guiding you to meet his every movement, and together, you find a rhythm that feels like it was made just for the two of you. The room is a blur of passion and desire as you both give in to the explosive chemistry that's been building for so long.
The love that's been simmering just beneath the surface of your friendship now burns hot and wild, and you know that this night will be the first of many where you'll explore the depths of your newfound love and lust. Each thrust feels like a declaration of passion, each touch a promise of forever, and as your bodies come together in perfect harmony, you realize that you're exactly where you're meant to be—in the arms of your best friend, now your lover, as you both cross the line from friendship to something far more intimate and profound.
With each powerful thrust, Tyler loses more of his self-control, his passion for you overwhelming him as he feels you tighten around him. His eyes are squeezed shut, his teeth gritted, and his breathing turns ragged as he approaches the precipice of his own climax.
He can feel your nails digging into his back, your moans growing louder, and your hips bucking to meet his every movement. The bed creaks beneath you, a testament to the intensity of your love-making. His grip on your hips tightens, his strokes becoming more erratic as he fights to hold back the tide of pleasure threatening to consume him.
But the feeling of you, so wet and warm, your body responding to his every touch, is too much. With a final, guttural growl, Tyler surrenders to the explosion of ecstasy, burying himself deep inside you as he releases.
Your walls clench around him, milking him for all he's worth, and he collapses onto your chest, his breathing heavy and uneven. For a moment, the world stands still, your hearts pounding in sync as you both bask in the aftermath of your shared passion.
Then, with a soft smile, Tyler kisses your forehead, whispering, "I've been waiting for this for so long." You wrap your arms around him, feeling the same overwhelming love and satisfaction, knowing that this is just the beginning of a love story that has been years in the making.
Tyler flips onto his back, bringing you with him so that you straddle his waist, his still-hard length nestled between your thighs. He brushes your hair off your sweaty forehead, his eyes filled with a mix of awe and love as he looks up at you. "You're so beautiful," he murmurs, his voice still thick with passion.
You lean down to kiss him, your breasts brushing against his chest as you move to capture his mouth with yours. The kiss is gentle, filled with the sweetness of a love that's been realized.
His hands slide down to your hips, his fingers tracing the curves of your body as you begin to rock against him, his length sliding through your slick folds. He groans into the kiss, his body responding to your movements. You break the kiss, looking down at him with a smoldering gaze.
With a newfound confidence, you guide Tyler's still-throbbing cock into your wetness, straddling him as you begin to ride his length once again. Your hips move in a slow, sensual rhythm, taking him deep inside you as you gaze into his eyes, which are now filled with a mix of love and unbridled desire.
His hands grip your waist, his thumbs pressing into your hips as he lifts you up and down, urging you to go faster, deeper. The friction sends sparks of pleasure through your body, igniting a fire that seems to never die out. Each movement feels like a declaration of love, a silent promise that this is where you both belong.
Tyler's eyes never leave yours as he watches you take control, his admiration for your beauty and strength growing with every moan that escapes your lips. You lean forward, pressing your chest against his, feeling his heart hammer against yours as you move in perfect sync. The room is filled with the sounds of passion—the slap of skin on skin, the wetness of your union, and the unspoken words of love that hang in the air like a sweet, intoxicating perfume.
Tyler's eyes flare with desire, and with a smirk, he takes control, his hips rising to meet your every move. The intimate dance of your bodies continues, each of you learning the other's rhythm, the other's needs. The room is filled with the sound of your skin slapping together, your breathy moans and his deep, needy groans.
The tension builds again, coiling tighter and tighter in your bellies until you're both on the edge once more. Then, with a final, desperate thrust, Tyler arches up into you, his eyes squeezed shut as he finds his release, his body trembling beneath yours. You follow shortly after, your orgasm crashing over you like a wave, leaving you both gasping for breath as you collapse into a tangled heap of limbs.
The only sounds in the room are your panting breaths and the soft whispers of "I love you" as you lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, the weight of your shared love and passion pressing down on you in the most delicious way possible.
As the intensity of your shared passion subsides, Tyler showers your face with gentle kisses, his love for you written in every tender touch. His arms wrap around you tightly, holding you close as if he never wants to let go. You melt into his embrace, feeling the warmth of his body against yours, the steady beat of his heart a comforting reminder of the connection you now share.
The room is bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun, painting the walls with shades of pink and orange. With a contented sigh, you snuggle closer, feeling the weight of the day's revelations and the promise of a future filled with passion and love.
As the night stretches out before you, you know that this is just the start of a journey you'll take together, hand in hand, heart to heart. The air is thick with the scent of your combined arousal, a scent that fills the room with a sense of belonging and desire that neither of you can ignore. With one final, lingering kiss, Tyler rolls over, pulling you with him so that you're both lying on your sides, your legs entwined.
“Tell me this isn’t a one time thing,” you mumble against his tan skin as you cuddle closer to him.
His arms tighten around you as you cuddle against him, his fingers gently tracing patterns on your skin. He tilts his head down to kiss the top of your head, inhaling the scent of your hair. “This is definitely not a one time thing,” he reassures you, his voice soft yet firm.
He pulls you closer, his arms encircling you like a protective cocoon. “I want this, I want you. For as long as you’ll have me.” A smile creeps up on your lips as you kiss his chest.
”Then will you take me on a proper date tomorrow?” Breathing in his scent as you close your eyes. Tyler gently pulls the covers up higher, enveloping you in a comforting warmth. He strokes your hair idly as you settle against his chest.
"Of course, sweetheart," he murmurs, his heart swelling with affection. "I'll take you out for the best damn date you've ever been on." He kisses the top of your head, his lips lingering for a moment. "I'll make sure it's perfect, just like you."
He whispers sweet nothings into your ear, his breath warm and comforting, as the rhythm of his chest rising and falling lulls you into a peaceful slumber. The world outside fades away, leaving only the two of you, lost in the warmth of each other's arms, basking in the afterglow of your first night as lovers.

y/n's perspective
It's officially been a year since I’ve had Wooyoung and San. He’s been getting better, but his memories are still hazy, even when he was in the ring. It wasn’t until that one day that he confessed that losing a few memories doesn’t seem like a bad thing, and he accepted it.
He’s no longer scared of the elevator bell, still doesn’t like being around other hybrids, but doesn’t mind going out anymore. Doesn’t prefer crowded areas but is happy with his life.
He’s… happier. Obliviousness is sometimes a blessing.
He’s shown Wooyoung more love than before and even towards Yeosang. He even teases Seonghwa a lot, whilst he at first hated Hongjoong now follows his every order. He’s changed since I've had him and if he was happy that's all that mattered.
I wanted to fulfill my promise to make him happy even if he doesn’t remember it.
“Stop eating like pigs!” Seonghwa scolded and I chuckled since we were finishing up on dessert. “You have chocolate all over your face,” Hongjoong teased and I smiled.
The two were the oldest and so were very attentive despite only being with us for three months. They cared a lot and adjusted well, while Yeosang too was better than how he was. He was no longer scared of eating food and accepted presents without wanting to pay them back in return.
I could’ve never believed in having five hybrids let alone one last year but… I was glad that I adopted San that day. It brought me more happiness than ever before.
“Here is your receipt ma'am I hope you had a lovely dinner. I would also advise you to be careful there's been pick-pockets recently stealing wallets and cash” the waitress said and left. That was still going on huh?
“Here you go Angel” I heard and noticed Yeosang holding my coat. “Thanks, Yeosang,” I said as he helped me put it on. “They seem very happy,” he said and I chuckled as I saw Seonghwa wiping their faces from the chocolate dessert they ate.  “Yeah, yours is next,” I said and he smiled.
I could hear San and Wooyoung already planning what they want next year, making me happy how excited they got for little things. “Ooh! Hongjoong we should do a Barbeque!” Seonghwa said excitedly. “Hmm? Maybe we should do that for me!” Yeosang said and I laughed at their rivalry. Yeosang walked ahead towards the two and Seonghwa only glared at his head.
“Don’t worry, I know for a fact he’d ask for fried chicken in the apartment, '' I said and he chuckled. “Makes sense, he doesn’t like leaving home either way” Seonghwa said and I nod. Hongjoong was by my side acting as my bodyguard as the three other hybrids were walking ahead. “I can’t believe it's been three months already,” Hongjoong said and I nodded. It's been two months since our incident but everyone has grown from that.
“SOMEONE STOP HIM!” I heard a familiar yell. I noticed a man now stop panting in front of us. “Shotaro?” I ask and he looks up to see me. “Ah, y/n… give.. me… a minute” he said out of breath. “You… and all your hybrids, you look scary” he said out of breath and I let out a chuckle before worrying for him. “What happened, are you okay?” I asked and he nodded but quickly bactracked. “Actually no, I got robbed!” he yelled, frustrated.
“Oh, the infamous pick-pocket?” I sighed and he nodded. “Apparently, Doyoung has even lost money. Didn’t you lose your wallet?” he asked and I shook my head. “Just 200,” I said. “What?” Yeosang said confused and I forgot only Hongjoong knew.
“I smell a dog hybrid,” San said and Shotaro looked more confused. “A hybrid stole from me? I better tell Kun about this soon” he said, still catching his breath. “How long have you been running, the shop is far from here?” I asked and he scoffed. “Too long, and now I've lost them,” he said and I sighed. “You’re going to have to report everything” I said and he nodded. “I’ll tell Taeyong-hyung about this tonight” he said but he still looked irritated.
“You should go home, it's getting pretty late. You at least have a pack of hybrids to protect you” he said and I nod knowing I was okay. “You should go back to shop, be careful” I said and he nodded as he waved.
“When did you lose money?” Wooyoung asked and I sighed. “It was the first time for the circus hybrid interviews and then the second when I got out of the hospital” I said and they all deflated. I smiled, “Don’t worry it's fine, they probably need it more than me” I said and they didn’t say anything.
“Come on, let's go home!”

yunho’s perspective
“Woah! A hundred! We haven’t gone this much in a while” Mingi said, happy to have increased funds. We haven’t found that since… that one girl. It still made me sick how I had to rob her while she was so… lost. “She’s been showing up with that tiger though” he pouted. “She has five hybrids so be careful, and don’t rob her,” I said and he nodded.
I would sometimes see the different hybrids… a panther showed up once. A Doberman would show up rarely, while a fox was very hyperactive meaning he was one of the ones commonly accompanying her. Whilst there were two tigers… the orange tiger was always with her by her side and he would always glare at me. He knew…
“Do you think we can eat a good meal tomorrow?” he asked and I chuckled. “Hmm? What are you thinking?” I asked and he grinned. “Ramyeon!” he said excitedly.
“Guess, we’ll finally eat some food at a convenience store!”
Tumblr media
We were picking out cheap brands of snacks that would hopefully last us a while. It wasn’t until I turned the corner to see her… I quickly turned around hiding in a different aisle. Mingi walked in front of me when I grabbed him.
“Don’t go over there” I said and he looked confused while speaking but I flicked his forehead. “Ow! Hey, it's–" "No,” I said and he scoffed “Come on, she’s alone” he begged and I shook my head.
“y/n you’re a lifesaver! I swear I'll pay you back” I heard… that voice sounded familiar. “Hey don’t worry about it! It's not your fault you got robbed” she said… that was the boy we robbed off of yesterday.
“M-Mingi we have to leave… now… Mingi?” I said and looked at where he was. Where did he go? I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder scared but it was him… holding her wallet.
“Give it back,” I said, feeling my heart stop. “What? No–'' “Mingi threw it on the floor or something was leaving,” I said and he didn’t want to. “Huh? I don’t have my wallet?” she said and I started putting things away randomly not caring if it didn’t belong. “Sir! Someone robbed her!” I heard. “We’re leaving!” I said as I tried rushing him but we were stopped by security.
“There's a thief in the store so can you please–” I pushed my out with Mingi while we ran. When I thought we escaped, I stopped as we caught our breath.
“A hybrid thief sounds like the start of a bad kid’s story” I heard and I looked behind me… the tiny tiger. “Give it back,” he said with a handout and I looked at Mingi who didn’t budge. He was a wolf hybrid and in theory he looked intimidating but he wasn’t… despite his size, he was the runt of his litter, and he couldn’t fight. I couldn’t either… but the tiger was so small. What harm could he do? Right?
“I’m not gonna ask again,” he said as I saw his claws get bigger.
“Yunho we can take him,” Mingi whispered but I wasn’t so sure. Something told me no… he was getting closer when I saw a familiar figure. “Hongjoong!” she said as he seemed to calm down immediately even retracting his claws “Hey! Thieves!!!” the boy we robbed yesterday yelled.
“Huh? You’re the guy who always…” she said almost in a disappointed tone… if it wasn’t for my hat I would’ve surely looked like a kicked puppy.
“He has your wallet,” Hongjoong told her and her eyes widened… “Every time you talked to me wasn’t because you were comforting me… you stole from me each time” she said and I didn’t know what to say. I couldn’t defend myself since it was true… we did steal from her.
“That’s what I get for trusting a stranger…” she muttered as I saw the tiger go to her side and rub her back trying to comfort her…
“I want my wallet back!” the boy yelled and I looked at Mingi who looked frozen. “Give it back…” I muttered and he took out the two wallets. “Yunho I’m sorry, this was my fault,” he said and gave me her wallet which I wanted to hand to her but the tiger got it instead.
“Kun is coming soon,” the boy said and I was confused… who was that?
“I'm sorry… I did try helping you” I ended up saying but she didn’t look at me. I was jealous of the tiger. She cares for her hybrids… I see her every time she walks down this street with a hybrid… Most people collected them but she didn’t seem to be doing that. She loved them… why wasn’t I that lucky?
It was a weird combination too… two tigers, a panther, a fox, and another dog. I felt most jealous of that dog…
“Why can’t we run?” Mingi whispered and I knew the two were waiting for whoever Kun was… “I don’t know… we’re caught red-handed Mingi. It’s over” I said and he shook his head. “No, it can’t be,” Mingi said as he stood up. “Look we’re sorry… we need to leave now,” Mingi said but the tiger… Hongjoong growled at the wolf hybrid. “Hongjoong don’t,” the girl said to her hybrid but the tiger scoffed. He went back to her side and before Mingi could do anything I heard sirens.
“Yunho? Hybrid control… I don’t wanna go back to them” he said and I shook my head.
“I don’t either… I’m sorry Mingi I failed you”
Tumblr media
y/n’s perspective
“He comforted me when my hybrids were in here… I know I didn’t know him but it feels a little bit like betrayal” I confessed and Kun nodded. “I know, both hybrids are code green. They have owners coming to pick them up soon,” he said and I nodded.
“Why would they run away, though?” I pondered and he shrugged. “If I find any type of mistreatment then I won’t allow them to take them. However, we can’t assume the worst” he said and I nodded.
“Kun, the owners are here” I heard Haechan say from the door. “Yah! You two are eating lunch without me?” he pouted and I chuckled.
“Haechan you took a thirty-minute break already… also it's supposed to be fifteen.” he scolded and the young boy laughed it off “y/n you might also want to come,” he said with a worried tone… I followed him outside to see a couple and their two kids.
“Do tricks for us, tiger!” I heard the kids yell and I saw Hongjoong clearly uncomfortable… “Joong, come here,” I said as he was now behind me.
Hongjoon definitely had some triggers, being told to do tricks was definitely one of them. Being recognized as a whole makes him quite anxious.
“Oh, come on. Let the hybrid do some tricks” a woman asked and I chuckled awkwardly. “I’m sorry, but he doesn’t do this–” “I didn’t ask, darling. My kids want to play with him so I said let the hybrid do some tricks,” she said rather rudely and I scoffed.
“And who are you to tell me what to do? May I remind you that your two hybrids ran away?! They robbed me!” I yelled and she scoffed.
“What did you have? A twenty?” she joked and I glared. “More like two hundred” I muttered and she laughed. “Two hundred is nothing here,” she said as she grabbed her husband’s wallet and handed me two hundred dollars and I scoffed.
“I don’t want your pathetic money,” I said and she glared. She instead threw the money at me and laughed. “You look like you need it,” she said, and before I could say anything–
“Yuyu!!” I heard the children yell at the hybrid. I saw the golden retriever hybrid look at his owner fearfully and nervously. The wolf hybrid also stared at the ground…
“Are you okay?” I asked my tiger as I put my hands over Hongjoong's who gripped my hips. He nodded softly as he got closer and hugged me, trying to comfort himself. I could only pet his head as he hugged me.
“We only wanted, Yunho” I heard the lady say. “Please” I heard Yunho plead. “Who are you to ask for things? You ran away, you’ll be punished. Look doctor, Mingi is a violent hybrid he shouldn't even be a code green” she said making me scoff.
I saw the kids pull on Yunho’s tail while the hybrid could only look at his companion. Was that why they ran away? They were being separated?
“You want to revoke ownership?” Kun asked and she nodded and soon looked at me. “How much for your tiger?” she asked and I scoffed. “You aren’t getting him,” I said and she smiled. “Honey, don’t you think he’ll give the kids such a good time?” she asked as the husband now looked at Hongjoong who tried his best to hide behind me.
“I can offer a hundred thousand?” he asked and I scoffed. “No,” I said and the wife’s eyes widened. “Oh please. Don’t you need the money?” she asked and I scoffed. “Look at his collar?” I heard the man whisper and the lady rolled her eyes.
“Why does a stupid tacky collar matter at this moment?”
“His collar is a custom design. It costs a hundred thousand” I said and her eyes widened for a bit before rolling her eyes. “And how did you afford that? A kid like you can’t afford that without… selli–" "My name is y/n l/n '' I said and their eyes widened. “As in the daughter of the CEO?” the husband muttered and I smiled softly. “Yes, you wanna try again?” I asked and before the wife could say anything the man bowed.
“I’m sorry, I didn–” “I want both of you to apologize to my hybrid,” I said and they looked at each other. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you,” the husband said while the wife refused.
“I-I work with your parents you know?” he said and I laughed. “Maybe I’ll tell him to stop, come on Hongjoong. Bye Kun I hope they don’t cause too much trouble, if they do you have my number” I said as I left Hongjoong. I may not have the best nor closest relationship with my parents but I doubt they’d let their reputation hit a low if they heard that his wife was implying I sell–
“Thank you,” he said and I smiled. “I’d never let anyone treat any of you like that… I just feel bad for the two. They’re gonna be separated. You saw how desperate they were.” I said and he sighed clearly upset.
“I couldn’t imagine how I would feel if you decided to only adopt Seonghwa… even though I did ask you too,” Hongjoong confessed and I smiled.
“You’ll never be separated from him”
Tumblr media
hongjoong's perspective
I felt pathetic hiding behind her… but she did defend me. I guess this is how Yeosang feels about his ex-owner. We finally went back to the apartment when I saw the familiar orange-eared fox tackle y/n in a hug. “I missed you!! You said it’d be fast!! Why’d you take hours!” he yelled and pouted.
“Angel!” I heard as I saw the familiar pointy-eared hybrid.
“Is everything okay?” I heard as I saw Seonghwa… he looked at me worriedly. “Hmm? What is the tiny tiger upset about?” San said and I looked down. “Don’t tease him… Hongjoong don’t think about it too much okay? You did amazing today, thank you for saving me and my wallet” she said with a smile and I nodded.
“What happened?” “It's a long story”
Tumblr media
y/n’s perspective
“Maybe the two hybrids ran away because they were gonna be separated,” Wooyoung suggested and I think he was right.
I saw how Hongjoong was being comforted by Seonghwa. The two got told to do circus tricks often… especially by kids and families when they were recognized.
“Or they had snobby owners” Yeosang muttered and I sighed. “Even if that’s the case I already called my parents to not work with them anymore and even told Chenle to spread the word,” I said and Yeosang laughed.
“So what’ll happen to them?” San asked and I shrugged. “I guess they’ll retire early?” I said and the hybrids all laughed even though I did mean it.
I wasn’t gonna let them treat Hongjoong that way… not when he’s currently beating himself up for it and being comforted by his longest companion.
“You should’ve taken the two hundred dollars back” Wooyoung suggested and I scoffed.
“Trust me they'll need that money more than me,” I said and he chuckled. “Come on, we should eat before everything gets cold, '' Wooyoung said as everyone slowly went to the kitchen.
I looped my arm around Hongjoong’s side who smiled softly at me.
“Don’t worry, okay? I know you all want to protect me and you did! You got my wallet back and in return, I’ll protect you from people like that” I promised and I offered him a smile and kissed my head.
“Thank you, I’m lucky to have you”

HE WAS A PUNK, SHE DID BALLET

pairings. nonidol!hyungline x fem!reader in which. reader’s perfect and calm life has been completely turned upside down since she met her boyfriend wc. 1.5K warnings. enha are basically troublemakers lol, climbing a window in hee’s one, jake’s one is HEAVILY inspired by a gilmore girls episode, mentions of fights and bruises, not proofread genre. fluff ( link to masterlist )
author’s note wrote this while listening to sk8er boy by avril lavigne and i love her that’s it, jay’s one is a bit short i’m sorry 💔 also!! maknae line’s one is coming soon 🫧
Tumblr media
𝐋. heeseung
you were seated at your desk in your room, so engrossed on studying your books, that the sound of tapping on the window almost made you flinch.
turning around to the place the sound came from, you see him. he smirks slyly, causing you to sigh and get up, opening the window “you know, you could’ve used the front door”, heeseung climbs in “i figured your parents wouldn’t be really pleased to see me” he says as he wraps his arms around your waist.
“plus, this is way more charming than using the front door, is it?” that sentence made you chuckle “oh sure, prince charming. i really want to watch you climb down from my window now”. heeseung gulps “well, i’ll worry about it after i get to cuddle you, angel” he says with a smile before attacking your face with soft pecks, making you giggle.
it was really true that heeseung was soft and caring on the inside, but you seemed to make him melt way more often than he was used to, not like he was complaining about it anyways.
“what are you studying?” “biology” heeseung scoffs “you really have to spend your night studying something as dull as biology?” you roll your eyes playfully “at least i do study, i suggest you to try it, that would be good for you” he just simply shrugs playfully and pinches your waist, making you let out a soft giggle.
despite claiming that studying is the most monotonous thing you could ever do on a thursday night, heeseung finds himself sitting with you, listening to you revise the subject, but both of you know he’s not even paying attention to anything you’re saying, he doesn’t care at all. what he’s paying attention to, is the way your eyes look up while thinking of a term, the way your hands move to emphasize your speech and the soft hums you let out while thinking of the material you studied earlier.
actually, maybe heeseung was wrong, maybe this was the best way he could spend his thursday night.
𝐏. jongseong
you watched as your boyfriend played you his self-written songs on his guitar, feeling happy to be in his presence and to be the only girl who could have the pleasure to listen to those sweet songs he wrote for you. “what do you think?”, you smile softly “it’s really great; i love it”.
the faint blush on your boyfriend’s cheeks didn’t go unnoticed by you. “hey, can i try too?” you ask him and he looks at you surprised “the great violinist wants to play something as edgy as the electric guitar?” you roll your eyes playfully “worried i’ll be better than you?”.
jay grins and pats the empty space between his legs, handing you the guitar and guiding you through the notes “put your finger here, here and here” he says as he gently moves your fingers on the strings. your heartbeat started to quicken as he was impossibly close to you and touched your fingers delicately “give it a try, chopin” he teases as you try to play the new instrument.
after a few tries, you manage to let out a few neat notes from the instrument, eliciting a proud smile from your boyfriend “wow chopin”, you chuckle “jay, chopin is a pianist” “same thing”. you both let out a few giggles before he pecks your temple and smiles softly at you “if you learn how to play the guitar, i can’t surprise you with my serenades anymore”, you chuckle softly “well, i think my mom would be glad to not hear you play at 1am, but maybe i could serenade you too sometimes”.
jay smiles and softly pecks your lips “yea, i’d like some classical operas being played for me at 1am”
𝐒. jaeyun
you would’ve never thought to see your boyfriend all dolled up to take you to your highschool’s dance for a charity event. you insisted that it wasn’t a big deal, and you weren’t even enthusiastic about going to that dance, but your boyfriend insisted on being a good boyfriend (aka, showing you off to everyone) and decided it was important for you to attend since you were one of the top students at the school.
you arrived at the dance with jake, and calling it boring would be an understatement.
you two were sitting by a table, “jake we can leave if you’re not having fun” you said, as you knew your boyfriend wasn’t used to these boring formal events.
“don’t worry baby, i enjoy spending time with you nonetheless. plus, the food is great!” you let out a chuckle at his statement.
“i’ll go get us something to drink, how about that?” you smile at your boyfriend’s idea “alright, don’t take too long”.
he smiled before he got up and headed to get you something to drink. as you were waiting for him, a boy from your biology class approached you, teasing you like he always does.
“where’s your little boyfriend, uh? don’t tell me you came by yourself” he grins and you roll your eyes “getting me a drink, if you really want to know”. the boy looks slightly surprised at your statement “oh really? i bet he’s a punk, you could’ve said yes when i asked you to come with me, at least you would’ve been seen with someone relevant”.
just like clock work, your boyfriend arrived and wrapped an arm around your waist. the guy eyes him up and down “you must be the punk boyfriend”, jake grits his teeth and turns to you “is he bothering you, babe?” “pfft, she’s delighted by my presence”. jake raises an eyebrow and turns his gaze back to the boy “uh, really?”.
you were already preparing yourself as you knew your boyfriend, and you knew things would’ve escalated quickly. by the end of the night, you were sitting in jake’s car, treating the wounds and scars he got on his face after a not-so-friendly conversation with that boy.
“i’m sorry i got carried away”you give him a small smile “it’s alright, i’m glad you punched him. he’s annoying” “i figured you weren’t really delighted to talk to him”, you both let out a chuckle.
“hey, are you up for a frozen yogurt?” he asks, you reply with a huge smile “of course! but… maybe it’s better if you stay in the car and i go get them”. he lets out a chuckle “alright boss”
𝐏. sunghoon
“babe! what’s taking you so long?” you yell from your room, sunghoon is in the bathroom, getting ready for a dinner you insisted on having with your parents to prove them he’s perfectly fine for you. he was nervous, he probably hasn’t felt more nervous in his life, what if they ask him about his life? he can’t tell them how reckless he is, they would’ve never thought he could be perfect for you. he finally sighs before taking a last glance at the mirror “i’m coming!”.
the dinner was silent to say the least, your mother cleared her throat to escape from the awkward moment “so sunghoon, do you have any hobbies?”. sunghoon gulps “uhm… i like working out, you know, to keep myself healthy”, her mother hums, her expression unreadable.
in the meantime, you were crossing your fingers under the table, hoping the dinner would go smoothly and your parents would approve of him, considering how they’ve always considered you as a perfect child in every field.
your father asks the question both of you hoped he’d never ask, “do you study? or work?”. sunghoon starts sweating “i… i don’t work yet, sir. but, i’m looking for a job”. your father slightly scoffs and tears his gaze away from the boy, looking back at his plate and mumbling something under his breath.
the dinner luckily comes to an end, and neither you nor sunghoon were proud of how it went out.
he noticed your disappointed face, and before you two could leave and greet goodbye to your parents, he turned to them one last time “uhm… i’m sorry if i’m not exactly how you hoped i’d be, i know i might be far from the kind of person you wanted your daughter to be with, but i love her. i might not be the best and i might not provide her with everything she needs, but i love her and… and i’m here for her everytime she needs me. i want to support her in everything she does, even though i know i could never be enough for her”. his words made your heart melt, and your parents’ expression slightly shifted.
as you were getting ready to leave, your mother spoke up “we hope to see you again, sunghoon”, his eyes immediately lit up “i hope so too, mrs y/l/n. thank you”. your father gives him a nod of approval before you two left, hand in hand, and extremely proud of how the dinner turned out.

thinking of her ☆ cl16
genre: angst, marriage trope
word count: 1.8k
You and Charles take a visit to marriage counseling.
inspired by this !
req!... had some free time to write so thought i would work on a request i just got! short one, but i hope you enjoy :)
Tumblr media
“Tell me why you’re both here.”
The room is silent and slightly cold. A large canvas hangs right in front of you as you take time to pretend you care about the family painted on it. Part of you actually does.
“Well, she thought it would be a good idea to drag us into this.”
Your eyes flicker to Charles and you would only hope that he could tell that you weren’t impressed by his answer. It was true, it was your idea to go to couple’s counseling, but only because you cared. You cared a lot. Sometimes you thought for sure he didn’t anymore.
“What made you take the initiative?”
You wanted to burst with anger. To prove to her that this wasn’t completely your fault. He wasn’t perfect, he tested your patience and despite it all, you still loved him enough to try and salvage your marriage.
Your therapist stares back, pen ready to scribble possible solutions as if her words would really make a difference. Maybe, deep down, you didn’t like being here either, but you wanted to prove to Charles how he’s been a shit husband.
You wanted someone to back you up.
Taking a deep breath, you play with your wedding band. The one that you would normally admire, but now just felt like pure suffocation. “He’s given me plenty of reasons to not trust him the way I once did and now I sit here like a fool thinking he might change.”
The way her pen glides is something you hate.
Looking back up, she takes a moment to analyze the couple. Charles sits with a blank expression, as if he really did have somewhere better to be. In his mind, he did. Then, there was you. Regardless of your words pouring with pure vexation, your body language displayed something else.
Your eyes were sad and tired. She easily noticed the way your hand would want to reach out to Charles, but would quickly grip tighter to your lap.
“Please, if you don’t mind, would you care to explain.”
You press your lips together. “I first noticed a difference two years into our marriage.”
-
“Chicken or fish?”
It was Charles’ day off from work in a long time and you were currently on a call with Pascale trying to figure out what to surprise him with. He always raved about how much he loved when you cooked for him.
“Fish. You guys were over yesterday and I made grilled chicken, remember?”
You hum as you get into your car and start driving to the market, though the conversation is cut short when you finally reach your destination. Walking through the aisle, you decide it would be a fine idea to grab some wine you both love.
“Charles?” The brunette looks up, red wine in his hand as you smile a bit confused. “What are you doing here? I thought you were playing padel with Lorenzo.”
“I was! Finished the game early and thought I would grab us some, uh—” Stepping closer, he kisses you and takes the kart. “Shopping for dinner?”
“Thought it’d be nice…” You look at the bottle and yes it’s red, but it's not the kind you both like. “Honey, you got the wrong one.” A panicked look flashes his face before he lets out a nervous laugh.
Of course! I’ll change it right now.
-
“It only took a couple more slip ups for me to find out.”
The therapist nods as her attention turns to Charles, where he plays with his bracelets. “And what made you stay?” You want to laugh. Are we just going to spend time on me? She shakes her head. “We’ll get to him, I just want to hear from you first.”
“After I confronted him he swore he’d stop seeing her. I guess it was my fault for even believing him.”
-
“Amour!”
He runs into the living room, kitchen, basement, everywhere. Breathing hard, he looks around the house as if the furniture will give up and tell him where you are. A loud thud echoes from upstairs. Two steps at a time, he darts quickly to the bedroom. His heart stops when he sees you packing a suitcase.
What are you doing?
You don’t answer. Don’t even spare a passing glance. Instead, you slip the gold band off your finger as you throw it behind you. It only falls a few steps in front of him. He picks it up as he makes his way to you. “I’m so sorry.”
Your back faces him, but you don’t dare make a single sound. You curl your hand against the dress you were folding, bite hard on your lip to not let out a single sob. But your chest hurts, your tears feel like acid against your skin, and you’re almost thankful for pain like that, that way what Charles did wouldn’t be the only thing that hurt.
He makes his way to kneel down in front of you as you stare down at the carpet. You had begged him only a few days ago to put down the deposit on it and for a while he said it wouldn’t be financially responsible, but later agreed. You hated it now.
“Why? Just…why?”
He’s far too embarrassed to even come up with an answer. “I don’t know.”
When you finally look up at him, he sees what he’s caused. Your eyes are bloodshot, your nose is rosy. Cheeks are so bright pink, it almost looked as if someone pinched them.
You let out a wet laugh as you drop your hands against your lap. “You know, when I woke up this morning and you were gone I thought to myself—Wow! What did I do to deserve a husband who wakes up early enough to get me breakfast on my birthday? And I waited. And waited. But whatever. That’s fine! He probably got busy. Then, Pascale called to confirm if we were still going out for dinner, to which I said, ‘Yes! Of course!...Yes, the gold bracelet! It was beautiful, thank you for helping him pick it out.’ I thought it was sweet, I did, but you never came. And again, the presents are not what mattered, but it was you. I texted you. I called you. I told myself you were probably too busy planning something sweet the way you always did. They all asked where you were and I had to lie and tell them you were going to be late. Do you know how stupid I felt when I saw you and her enter the restaurant holding hands? And then what did I do? I purposefully had you see me run out so you could chase after me, so that your family would never find out about your…fling.”
Charles keeps bowing his head lower and lower almost as if to hide from his mistakes.
“...So where’s my bracelet, huh? Because you got it for me for my birthday, right?” Extending your hand out hurts because you know deep down it was never for you.
“I don’t have it…” You click your tongue as you retract your arm. Of course you don’t, you seethe. With all your strength, you stand with wobbly knees as you start to walk away.
“Don’t worry. I won’t tell anyone.”
And he should feel relieved, but instead he feels like a complete asshole. How could he ruin things with his wife who swore to love him with all her being? He knew you well enough to know that you always will and he couldn’t let that go. He would fix this.
He runs to the door to close it. Move, you spit out. He shakes his head as he hugs you.
“S-stop,” you say in a shaky voice as warm tears begin to flow once more. “It’s okay, just let me go…”
You go stiff when you realize he’s crying into your neck. I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry…He just keeps repeating it and you can’t stop yourself from hugging him back. He loved you and you loved him. That’s all that mattered.
“Just don’t do it again, okay?”

“So he cheated: you forgave him. He put her first and your marriage second.”
You flinch at her words because they only remind you how true they are. For a while, you thought you could both get over it, but you never really did. Not when you were already both standing on opposite sides of the road.
“Mom always did say I always saw the best in people.”
“And you…” Charles gulps. “What made you fall into an affair?”
Months ago, when you first found out, he didn’t have any answer to that question. But he did now.
“I wasn’t smart enough to appreciate my wife.” He looks at you as you avoid eye contact because you know the moment you looked into his eyes, you would fall all over again.
But you still did.
His eyes are sorry, you could tell, and the way his hand makes his way to you is enough for you to grow warm despite the cold room.
“I’ve made plenty of mistakes - I know that - but none of them could compare to what I did to us. For putting you through so much doubt…For making you think I didn’t love you, but I always did.”
You're crying now as you nod because this is all you ever needed to hear.
“If this was the bump in the road that we had to overcome to grow closer then I accept it because I love you too, Charles. It’s about time you realized that.”
-
Charles feels lighter, happier. Now that he gets to hold your hand after many fights, he’s reminded about all the things he loves about you. But nothing could have prepared him for you to let go of his hand.
“I want a divorce.”
He’s stunned. W-what? We just decided that we were fine, that we were moving on…
You shake your head as you laugh. “My apologies, God, did I make you believe a lie? Feels awful, doesn’t it?”
He furrows his brows as he tries to reach out for you but you keep stepping further back. “Back there you almost had me…You said, ‘...none of them would compare to what I did to us.’ Us. Did you suffer? Did you spend countless, empty nights, crying yourself to sleep wondering what you did wrong? No, because it was all me. It wasn’t what you did to us, it's what you did to me.” You spin your ring one last time before slipping it off and placing it in his hand. He wants to say something to make you change your mind, to oversee his past mistakes one more time, because he swore to himself it would be the last time. But he could tell you’ve made up your mind. You twist your heel, ready to walk away before taking one last look into his green eyes you once loved.
“And the baby is getting my last name.”

Hi!!! I loved your Vernon x reader fic and it made me think of this! If you’re not comfortable with it I completely understand!
Maybe a [Vernon, Dino, or SCoups] x reader 5+1 fic where his members are convinced reader is pregnant. One of the members overhears reader and [Vernon, Dino, or Scoups] having a sorta intimate convo and the words “don’t worry, we’ll get through this together” with [Vernon, Dino, or SCoups] hugging her and rubbing her stomach with his thumbs? And it kinda evolves from there and the members stop reader from doing things that pregnant people can’t? But turns out reader isn’t pregnant it’s something else? Maybe with reader having to leave for a few months?

You had a long term relationship with Chan and that was definitely enough for the others to tease him even more. Sometimes he would text you during the live and they definitely didn't hold back from teasing him. Although the fans didn't really understand this situation.
One day when there was a practice and you came to watch and support him, the members had been waiting for him to start dancing properly for a while "Where is this brat?" Seungcheol spoke in a corner, Soonyoung couldn't stand it anymore and left the practice room to look for you both. As he was walking around the company, a voice stopped him, coming from the cafeteria. "Hey look at me. It's okay, okay? We'll get through this together, I don't want you to worry about this anymore and upset yourself." He stuck his head out of the corner and watched the two of you for a while, he had no idea what he was talking about but when Chan's hand went to your belly, his eyes widened in surprise.
Is she pregnant? Thoughts ran through his head, yes it seemed like a ridiculous theory but what else could this conversation and actions mean? He cleared his throat and got attention, Chan took his hand off your stomach and turned around "Everyone is waiting for you in the practice room, we were worried when you didn't come for a long time." Chan cursed as if he was just remembering practice and stood up "Fuck- I'm so sorry hyung, it completely slipped my mind." Soonyoung looked at him understandingly, "It's okay, don't rush, I'll tell the others." His calm and understanding tone made him frown. The member who was the most on edge in the dance and didn't want the slightest mistake is calm now? He looked at you for a while and kissed your forehead, Soonyoung pulled away from you and of course couldn't keep his mouth shut when he got to the practice room.
"Guys! Guys! You won't believe what I learned!!" The members looked at his meaningless excitement, Mingyu who was lying on the ground muttered "What's wrong?" Soonyoung dramatically grabbed Wonwoo's shoulders who was standing next to him and shook him "Y/n...She is..PREGNANT!" The trio of Seungkwan, Dokyeom and Seungcheol let out a loud 'What?' "I swear. I heard them, they were talking and Chan's hand was caressing her belly, she's definitely pregnant."
Seungcheol approached him "Are you sure? You know this is a serious situation, right?" Soonyoung nodded in agreement "I said I heard it, why would I be lying-" The only thing that stopped his sentence was the two entering the practice room.
When the room was completely silent, Chan let go of your hand and walked over to the members, you were about to sit on the floor in a corner to watch them but Dokyeom stopped you "Hey hey don't sit on the floor, wait I'll get you a chair." You looked at the other members in surprise as you watched Dokyeom quickly leave the room, "Is he okay?" Mingyu came to you "Are you okay? You don't have any pain or discomfort right?" This sentence confused you even more "I- no, why would you ask such a-"
"The chair is here!" You sat down as Dokyeom placed the chair behind you and even though you didn't understand, you turned to him and smiled and thanked him. Then, soon enough, the members were finally able to start practicing.
After a few hours of going on, they decided to take a break. Chan called out to you as he sat down on the floor tiredly. "Baby, can you please give me my shirt that's next to you?" You looked to your side and stood up to reach for the shirt that was on the floor. "Yah! Why are you making her do it? Don't you have your own hands?" Soonyoung's sudden outburst made him raise his eyebrows in surprise. He let out a tired breath and approached you, leaned down and picked up his shirt. "Really.. What's wrong with these?" You heard him muttering to himself, held his hand and that action made him turn to you. He gave you a tired smile before kissing your forehead. "I'm sorry baby, I just.. I'm tired and I don't want to keep you waiting here, I know how tired and upset you are and I want to be alone with you as soon as possible and make sure you're okay."
His thoughtfulness made you put a big smile on your face. You reached out and gave him a hug. "Thank you, I know you're always here for me." The words you said in his ear made him wrap his arms around you in the same way, "And I will continue to be." the members watching you all the while were looking at you with small smiles on their faces.
Everything seemed to get weirder and weirder in the following days.
A few people were gathered at home waiting for the food, and you had placed a chair in front of the counter to get the plate from the cupboard. Joshua, who entered the kitchen, saw you on the chair and quickly came to you. "Hey, what are you doing? Get off there Y/n, this is dangerous." You lowered your head to him and frowned slightly. "Calm down, I'm just trying to get the plate, there's nothing dangerous about it, it's something I always do." You took the plate and Joshua grabbed your arm to help you get off the chair. He approached Chan, who was helping you with the food, and whispered so you wouldn't hear him. "Be more careful, keep an eye on her, try to help her a little." Chan stopped what he was doing and looked at him frowned, but Joshua was already leaving the kitchen, he took a deep breath and muttered "Weird."
On a game night, you were in the living room, divided into teams. "Come on Wonwoo, beat him." Chan ignored the support that didn't come to him, it was a regular thing now. But at the end of the game, he was surprised by the unexpected win, he looked at you excitedly and stood up, picked you up and spun you around, your smiles filled the room while a few members stopped you from hugging. You both looked at them, not understanding what was going on.
"Chan, are you crazy? You can't just turn her around so suddenly, what if something happened?"
"Don't make any sudden movements Y/n, just sit still."
"Be more careful."
You just looked at each other in response to the sentences that came one after another, but just kept quiet about the strange events that had been happening lately.
Until one day you felt nauseous during dinner. You put your hand to your mouth and realized you were going to throw up, Chan looked at you with concern and helped you to the sink. The other members came right after you without waiting and formed an army in front of the toilet. Chan grabbed your hair and continued to stroke your back with concern, "It's okay baby, you'll be fine, I'm with you." He kissed your head along with the support he said. Finally, you relaxed and leaned your back against his chest, he let you stay in that position until you felt better and tried to comfort you by placing his hand on your belly.
"Y/n?" The sound of your name made him turn his head. "Hyung? Why are you all gathered here?" Seungkwan took a few steps inside and spoke. "We were just wondering." Seungcheol crouched down next to you and put his hand on your shoulder. "Are you feeling better?" You nodded with difficulty. The members left you alone for a while and in that time you tried to recover by washing your face.
When you arrived at the hall, all eyes were on you. You all sat in silence for a while. "So... Is it a boy or a girl?" Jun's question made you choke on the water you were drinking, while you tried to come to with a few coughs, Jeonghan spoke up "How can you ask so suddenly? Besides, it's not something that's obvious, look, her belly hasn't even grown yet." You watched with your mouth open, as the argument between them continued, Chan couldn't help but silence them. "What are you talking about?" His voice almost shouted, finally ending the argument, "I wasn't going to question this strange change you guys have been having lately, but aren't you exaggerating? It would be good if you all explained what happened now." When Seungcheol noticed that no one was talking, he took action. "We're on edge because of Y/n's pregnancy, this could be a difficult process-" you didn't let him continue his sentence. "Pregnant? What are you talking about? I'm not pregnant!" Your words made heads turn to Soonyoung, "What? But I heard you talking. You were talking about this when I was going to call Chan to the practice room." You looked at each other for a while, let out a deep breath when you both realized what the problem was, Chan spoke up to clarify the question marks "Nothing like that hyung, I don't know what you heard but Y/n isn't pregnant or anything..." he looked at you as if asking for your permission, you nodded in agreement "She's going through a hard time at work and she's constantly stressed, she has difficulty sleeping, doesn't eat properly and that's why I try to be there for her. This stress and anxiety also affects her health so sometimes she throws up. I was late for practice because of this, I had to help her relax for a while."
They were silent for a while as the questions were clarified, but it didn't take long for that silence to be broken when Jeonghan threw the pillow next to him at Soonyoung "You idiot! We also misunderstood because of you, why are you spreading fake news?" You watched the chaos around you as the other members put all the blame on him "Should we stop them?" he looked at you "No, let them continue. It's honestly kind of fun to watch."

Needless to say, Nate succeeded in getting you drunk, and you clearly had the time of your life.
He was on his way to get you a new drink, when some girls from the cheer squad decided to talk to him. And once he got your drink and returned, you weren't sitting on the couch anymore.
Fuck.
He cursed under his breath, well aware that nothing awful could've happened to you in the span of two minutes. But the thought of you not being under his watch right now, made him feel uneasy.
Nate walked through the crowd, and due to him being taller than most of the guests he could look around with ease. Once he spotted you in one of the corners of the living room he took a deep breath.
It surprised him at first, when he caught you talking to a student you've never even dared to look at— Rachel, the school's top cheerleader and one of the    popular girls.
He wasn't sure how to feel about it.
Sure, he thought it was cute that you socialized way easier, and it was nice that you were hanging out with people he actually knew, but he didn't get you drunk just so you’d leave him to talk to other girls.
He got you drunk because he wanted to have you all to himself, and to have even more power over you than he already had.
Once Nate had seen enough of you and Rachel talking, he decided to join you two. He was tipsy as well, not drunk however since he had to keep his head clear in order to watch out for you.
Which he felt like didn't really work, since he had lost you for a moment.
After he reached the two of you, he slung his arm around your waist, startling you a little since you were so focused on talking to Rachel.
He locked eyes with you, as he stared you down. "Having fun?" his tone was laced with an undertone only Rachel and her friends seemed to pick up on.
"Yeah.. Rachel's really cool," you slurred, as you smiled up at him, to which he simply nodded "did you know–" Nate cut you off, not even paying attention to Rachel "Why don't you come with me for a sec?"
Rachel glanced between the two of you, as she stayed quiet. You sighed and rolled your eyes– something you didn't do a lot around Nate, but it annoyed him nonetheless.
"It was nice meeting you, I'll be back soon." you assured her, still smiling as you wandered off to the hallway with your boyfriend.
Once you two entered the dimly lit hallway, he sighed as he shoved you just slightly, before removing his grip from your arm "What were you doing?" he asked as he leaned down, eyeing you intensely.
You chuckled in confusion "Huh..? What do you mean?" you asked, still too far gone to realize he was being serious "I was just talking to Rachel, you never told me she's so nice. I wouldn't have been so scared of this whole party if I knew everyone's so chill."
Nate placed his hands on your waist as you smiled, blinking up at him. But despite loving it when you admired him, Nate's tone remained stern. "I don't like it when you wander off like that," he said, his eyes boring into yours "especially when you're drunk."
You giggled softly "I'm not drunk, Nate.. maybe a little tipsy. But I was just having fun, isn't that what parties are for?" you pouted. Nate sighs, before putting on a small smile "Yeah of course, but.. I'm just looking out for you. I was confused when you weren't sitting there anymore." he explained.
The alcohol in your system made everything feel way lighter and less serious, resulting in you also not taking Nate serious. "Nate, relax," You laughed, playfully patting his solid chest "I was just having fun it's not that serious." you brushed him off, unaware of the way his jaw clenched as he stared you down.
He clearly didn't find the situation 'funny' or 'not that serious’.
"Not that serious?" he repeated, his grip tightening slightly. "C'mon Nate, I was just talking to her, no need to get so possessive." You didn't realize how your lighthearted comments angered him more and more.
He closed his eyes, and took a deep breath in an attempt to calm down. You just smiled at him as your hand wandered from his chest to his cheek, which caused Nate to flinch just slightly "You're cute when you're jealous." you teased.
You stood on your tip toes, and pressed a kiss onto his other cheek "But seriously, I'm not going anywhere so relax a little." you added.
Nate was conflicted: on one side he loved how you tried to reassure him, but he was also angry, because you were too drunk to understand how serious this was for him.
Even though it was his fault you were drunk in the first place.
Suddenly, one of your favourite songs started blasting through the speakers, causing your eyes to widen as you looked at Nate. "We should totally dance I love that song!"
You quickly took his hand, almost dragging him after you, as you made your way back to the living room. Once you started dancing, Nate made sure to stay as close to you as physically possible.
He didn't really dance, he preferred watching you as you closed your eyes and got lost in the music. Your moves were slightly uncoordinated, but Nate still thought you looked incredibly sexy.
Your laughter filled the room as you continued to sway to the song. Nate’s hands were placed on your hips as he looked around from time to time, checking if anyone dared to look your way.
He definitely didn’t miss the way some guys looked at you, even if it was just for a split second. He couldn’t blame them of course, not when you looked so pretty, your energy seemed to captivate everyone else.
At some point you smiled up at him, oblivious to the darkness in his eyes “Come on, Nate!” you whined loudly, over the blasting music “Loosen up a little.”
“I am loose.” he grumbled, but the way his fingers dug into your skin told a different story. You playfully swung your arms around his neck, to pull him closer. “This is your party, you should enjoy it.” you pouted, as you thought back to all the things you did to make this day special.
“I am enjoying it, I enjoy watching you.” He reassured you, as he pulled you against him. You leaned back against his arms as you smirked up at him. “Really?” you asked, as your eyes wandered down to his lips. “I enjoy watching you, too..” you admitted.
Before Nate had the chance to respond, someone bumped into you, completely throwing you out of the moment. Nate shot a glare at the person, ready to snap at the guy, but you quickly reached up to cup his cheek, in an attempt to redirect his attention back to you.
“Hey, it’s okay,” You whispered, your thumb brushing over his warm cheek “I’m sure he didn’t do it on purpose..” He took a deep breath, nodding as his gaze slowly shifted back to you.
He was holding himself back so well in front of you, and you didn’t even notice it. You tried to pull him back into the moment, continuing to dance, but Nate had other plans. “I think you’re done dancing. Let’s get some more drinks.”
It sounded like a suggestion, like you had a choice, but Nate already dragged you back into the kitchen. He didn’t plan on staying much longer since he felt like a ticking time bomb, ready to explode if anyone else would piss him off in the slightest.
When you two reached the kitchen, Nate instantly retrieved two new cups from the counter as you leaned against it, your head leaned back as you closed your eyes.
He looked at you, wanting nothing more than to carry you to his car right away and take you home. But he controlled himself once again, despite his patience being almost non-existent.
He mixed you another drink, making sure to mask the amount of vodka with the juice you liked so much. Then he mixed himself another drink as well, before handing you your cup.
When he grabbed his own cup, he saw you what drinking large sips of your cup. “I love this juice soo much..” you mumbled before finishing your cup, causing Nate to look at you in awe. “Can I have one more?” you chuckled.
Nate nodded, taking a sip of his own drink before placing it back on the counter and mixing you a new one. He tried to hide his smirk as he handed you the cup again.
And just like before you took a few large sips, not emptying the cup this time. After Nate emptied his cup, you two started chatting about some of the guests, and it really only took you a few minutes before you closed your eyes and sighed.
“Jesus.. I feel funny.” you exhaled, feeling the room spin even more than before. You felt so light but so heavy at the same time. Nate frowned as you breathed heavily. “Are you alright?” he asked, as he placed a hand on your cheek.
You nodded before smiling again. “Everything’s fine..” you said, your speech even more slurred than before. “We should probably go home.” Nate offered, hoping you’d agree, but you just whined. “No, no, no… ‘s fine ‘m just… I jus’ need a moment.. Fuck.” you laughed.
Nate sighed, before he noticed someone entering the kitchen. It was Max, and he looked more than concerned when he noticed your current state: Your hair slightly disheveled, your body slumped against the counter and your eyes closed.
You were too far gone to even notice him coming in, despite the door being opened, causing the music to be louder for a moment. It surprised him that you were this drunk, since Nate was around you the entire night.
He probably knew you never got drunk in your life, so why wasn’t he paying more attention? “Woah, Y/n are you okay?” he asked, as he approached you two. You slowly opened your eyes blinking slowly “Max?” You asked as you tilted your head slightly.
He nodded, but before he could say something Nate stepped in “She’s fine, she just drank a bit too much.” Nate responded casually. “I think we’re gonna head home now.” He continued.
Max intervened, “I think you should drink some water first, and see if you need anything else.” Max was well aware that Nate wasn’t pleased with him being worried for his girlfriend, but with your current state he couldn’t really pay attention to what Nate wants.
He quickly prepared you a cup with water, handing it to you “Here you go.” he said, his voice gentle. Max also drank of course, but he never went overboard with it. Especially now since it was his place, he had to take care of the other guests.
“Thanks, Maxie.” you giggled before taking the cup and sipping from it, some of the water running down your chin since your moves were still uncoordinated.
Nate shot you a dangerous look, more than glad that you were about to leave soon.
‘Thanks, Maxie.’
‘Maxie’
He wanted to bash Max’s head in, and he didn’t even do anything. “Do you need anything else? Maybe something to eat? I think there’s still some pizza left from earlier–” Nate quickly interjected “She’s fine, don’t worry..” he said harshly “I’ve got it under control.”
Max ignored Nate’s glare and kept his focus on you. “Are you sure you’re okay, Y/n?” he asked softly, his brows furrowed. “If you’re not feeling well, you shouldn’t be moving around too much.”
You nodded lazily but Nate was done “I told you, she’s fine!” he snapped “We’re just gonna leave, she needs to calm down somewhere quiet, right baby?”
You nodded slowly, as if you needed to process every word. Max nodded too, knowing he won’t be able to convince him. “I can call you guys a cab if you want to.” he offered, but Nate immediately shook his head.
“That’s not necessary, I’ll drive us home.” he declared, his tone dangerous. Max swallowed harshly, unable to believe he’d put you in danger like this. He knew that Nate smoked and drank earlier, so why was he doing this?
Sure, he knew that Nate was reckless and drive even when he drank. But with you in the passenger seat?
He glanced back at you, still worried but also well aware that if he pushed any further, he’d have Nate’s fist printed onto his face. Your hand gripped Nate’s forearm for balance as you looked at Max “I’ll be fine, don’t worry..” you said as you smiled lazily at him.
“Thank you for everything, and the.. the water.” You said as you stumbled past him. “Sure, no problem. Get home safe.” he said before watching you two exit the kitchen.
Once you two were back in the living room, Nate leaned down before sternly saying “We’re leaving. And you’re not gonna talk to him again, you understand?”
You clearly didn't process the possessive edge to his voice, and you were too tired to argue with him, so you just nodded "Yes, sir." you giggled, as you leaned against him.
Nate’s grip on you tightened as he sighed in relief “Good girl.”
Tumblr media
When you two left Max's house, the cool air hit you like a truck, which was a good think because you seemed to come to your senses again. Nate led you to his car, roughly opening the passenger door before helping you sit down.
You leaned back, breathing evenly as you waited for Nate to get in, completely forgetting to buckle up. Once he was inside, he shot you a glare "buckle up." he ordered, his voice so low that it took you a moment to process what he said.
You nervously fumbled with the seatbelt, and after a moment of struggling, Nate leaned over, his faces inches away from yours as he snapped it into place. You couldn't help but admire his face, the way his long lashes made him look so innocent from your current position.
"There, all set." he mumbled before pulling out of the driveway and onto the street. The world outside was blurry, the streetlights flashing by as Nate drove much faster than was safe.
But it excited you in a way.
Your head snapped towards him as he started speaking. "Do you have any idea how crazy it drives me, seeing other guys talk to you like that?" He admited, his jaw clenched.
He wanted to yell his frustration out, show you how angry he was at Max for not minding his own business, and at you for just letting him intervene. But he couldn't explode in front of you, not now, not when he still had plans for the night.
You shook your head in response. "I meant it earlier, when I said that you're mine. You're my everything, and it pisses me off, when people like Max make me feel like you're not.."
He clenched his jaw as he gripped the steering wheel. "I want to beat the shit out of him whenever he just fucking looks at you." He continued, before you interrupted him "Nate.. you're driving so fast.." you pointed out, which caused Nate to scoff "Are you scared?"
You slowly shook your head, not sure if you were telling the truth and neither was Nate, so he stepped on the gas pedal, causing you to gasp.
Nate however was having the time of his life, smiling as he raced through the streets. "Nate, s-slow down.." you pleaded.
"That's the first time I've ever heard you say that.." he teased, causing you to hide your face behind your hands. "Aw, Y/n come on," Nate cooed "I just wanna get you home fast." he added, as he slowed down a little bit.
You sighed in relief, before you nodded. His hand made its way to your cold thigh, squeezing it as his eyes were glued to the road.
He tried to ignore it, but he had problems focusing. Not only because you were next to him and he was impatient, but also because of the alcohol in his system.
Every once in a while when he'd mix you a new drink, he'd also pour himself a cup. Sure, he was nowhere near as drunk as you were, but he was definitely tipsy.
And the way you looked at him didn't make it any easier for him. When the car came to a stop at a red light, he glared at you, as his grip on the steering wheel tightened "Keep looking at me like that, and we won't make it home."
You blinked at him, before furrowing your brows in confusion—which was so cute it made him want you even more. "Why?" You asked as your tilted your head in confusion.
Nate let out a low chuckle at your innocent question. "Why?" He echoed, as he smiled "Because I'll pull over right now and take you in my car, even if we're not far away from home." he promised, his hand wandering higher up your thigh.
Your breath hitched as you looked at him once more "Noo.. 's not comfortable in a car." You pouted, despite involuntarily spreading your thighs apart for his hand.
Nate chuckled once he noticed, slowly retrieving his hand in a testing way. "Good thing we're almost there." he murmured, retrieving his hand teasingly slow as he watched your reaction.
Once the traffic lights turned green again, Nate wasted no time, stepping on the gas pedal to make a sharp turn into his street. The car roared forward, tires screeching as he pulled into his driveway at an insane speed.
Before you could fully process it the engine turned off, leaving you both in deafening silence. Nate quickly turned towards you to unbuckle you.
Just as your hand reached for the door handle, his fingers wrapped around your arm—tight, almost bruising. He yanked you back toward him, his eyes burning into yours, and the intensity of his gaze both feared and excited to you.
The silence between you was heavy, you could hear nothing but the pounding of your own heart, each beat echoing in your ears.
But then, just as quickly as the storm in his eyes had flared, it disappeared. Nate exhaled slowly, his grip loosening before he let go entirely. He shoved his door open and stepped out, slamming it shut behind him with enough force to make the car shudder.
You sat there, stunned, your arm tingling where his fingers had been. What just happened? You barely had a moment to catch your breath before your door was ripped open.
Nate stood there, his eyes dark and unreadable. Without a word, he reached down, hands firm but careful this time, and lifted you effortlessly out of the car.
You gasped as he lifted you up and hoisted you over his shoulder like you weighed nothing, your legs dangling in front of his chest. "N-Nate–" you yelped, as you tried to hold onto anything.
Nate just chuckled darkly before lightly slapping your thigh just enough to make you gasp. "What?" he asked obliviously, as he took several steps toward his front door.
They way he was able to simply swing you over his shoulder, with no effort whatsoever sent a wave of heat through you. "Let me down.." you said, but your voice was more breathless than demanding.
"I will, don't worry." he assured you, and despite not being able to see his face, you could hear the smirk in his voice.
He reached his front door, unlocking it with one hand before finally entering. You still whined, the position you were in and the motion of him walking making you dizzy "Nate..." You complained, but Nate was quick to shut you up with a harsh slap on your butt.
You gasped, involuntarily rubbing your thighs together—which of course didn't go unnoticed by Nate. "Hey.. what was that for?" You pouted as your cheeks heated up.
"For whining so damn much." he retorted before finally lifting you off his shoulder and onto the ground. Once you stood in front of him, in the dark hallway, he glanced down at you with the same intensity he had in the car. He was quick to kick his shoes off, waiting for you to do the same, but you only stared at him with that look.
You just opened your mouth to talk, when Nate grabbed your face and leaned down to kiss you. The kiss was messy due to you being drunk, and caught off guard, but Nate didn't care. He pushed both of you against the nearest wall, a small thud following as you knocked something over on the small cabinet that stood there.
But Nate didn't really pay it any mind, too hellbent on feeling you, to care. His lips were back on you in a split second, his teeth grazing your bottom lip before tugging it gently.
You whimpered into his mouth when his hands roughly bunched your dress up, his movements becoming more desperate and urgent. He was just about to bunch it up far enough to catch a glimpse of your panties when

Both of you froze, as you looked at the source of the sound, the hallway suddenly way brighter than before.
Standing just a few feet away was Nate's mom, looking both tired and surprised as she took in the scene in front of her: You pinned against the wall, hair disheveled and by the look of your face, definitively not sober.
Nate quickly let go of you before he ran a hand through his hair. You stumbled slightly at the loss of stability, but Nate was quick to steady you again. "Jesus, Nate," She sighed, somehow still relieved that it was just you two and not an intruder.
The tone of her voice seemed to wake you up from the state you were in. You scrambled to push your dress down again
"I-I.. Um.. we're so sorry." you nervously rambled, "Mom," Nate interrupted, his tone stern as he slowly looked towards her. "why are you up?"
Great, just what he needed.
Of course he wasn't embarrassed, he couldn't care less about his mom seeing you two like this. But he was mad at himself, for not taking you upstairs right away.
His mom scoffed "I woke up because of the noise. I thought someone broke into our house, Nate." You looked to the ground, you were so ashamed that you started to sober up a little bit.
"Sorry, didn't think we'd wake you up." He replied, almost too nonchalant. "Of course you didn't." She muttered, as she narrowed her eyes at him before glancing at you "Y/n, honey, are you okay? You look like you've had a little too much.."
You nodded slowly, trying to stammer out a response, but Nate was quick to speak for you "She's fine, I was just about to get her to bed." His mom nodded, but her face gave away that she didn't believe it. "Yeah, sure."
Nate rolled his eyes, before pulling you away from the wall "Good night, mom." he said, before walking you towards the stairs "Good Night, Marsha." you called out, before walking upstairs with Nate.

Once you two made your way into Nate's room, he was quick to close the door behind him. "Fucking finally.." He groaned, as he quickly locked his door. Then he turned towards you, taking in the sight of your flushed face.
He approached you with deliberate steps, and that alone got you more excited of what was to come. Without saying another word he closed the distance between you two, as his lips found yours in a heated kiss.
You whined in response, which enabled him to finally lead you over to his bed. He kissed you one last time, before pushing you onto his bed, your heel clad feet still outside.
He slowly went down on his knees, something you didn't expect to ever happen. His gaze was fixated on your feet as his hands slowly removed one of your heels "You know that I'd do anything for you, right?" he asked, his tone calmer than before.
You nodded, as you kept your gaze locked on his hands "And you know that I'm never gonna let anyone come between us, right?" you nodded again, slightly confused.
Nate placed one shoe onto the floor, before tending towards your other foot "Not even my parents?" You asked quietly, as you remembered their off putting behaviour earlier.
Nate looked up at you "Not even your parents." he assured you, wondering why you suddenly thought of them, and not the countless guys that can't help but stare at you every day. "Why do you ask?" He finally asked.
You shrugged "I don't know.. They were acting weird earlier. I feel like they're plotting something to break us up.." you admitted. "I didn't want to tell you earlier, because I wanted you to enjoy your party.”
Nate clenched his jaw, not because he was angry at you for telling him now, he was angry at your parents for constantly making you worry.
They're bad for you, no doubt. And he couldn't wait for the day you'd be free from them.
"Don't worry, princess," he cooed, as his hand wandered towards your knee, rubbing it comfortingly "You'll always be mine, they're not gonna stop me. Never." he assured you, before finally removing your other shoe and placing it next to the other one.
Then he stood up again, before disposing his shirt and tossing it onto the floor. Your eyes immediately moved from his face to his chest, still in awe at how muscular he was at his age.
When your hand reached out to touch him, he reached for it, before guiding it over his abs, down to the waistband of his jeans. He presses your palm against the growing bulge there.
"Fuck, you have no idea what you do to me," he rasps, his eyes closed as he enjoys your touch. Your eyes widen as you feel him in your hands. "Is that why you wanted to get home so fast?" You grinned, still bold because of the alcohol in your system.
Nate nodded, chuckling darkly "I wanted to leave with you the moment I saw you in that dress." he admitted, before opening his eyes, the sight of your face so close to his crotch almost ripped a moan from him.
What if he'd just use your mouth until you begged him to let you breathe again? Was all he could think about. It was your fault for looking up at him so innocently.
But once again he stayed strong. He didn't want your first blowjob to be while you're shitfaced, he wanted you to be fully aware while you do it.
When you felt him twitch in your hand, you removed your hand, blinking quickly "Is everything okay?" you asked concerned "Yeah, I just got lost in thoughts." he explained.
When your hand moved back to his jeans, and fumbled with his belt, he chuckled "Are you that impatient, baby?" he asked, his tone teasing. But you smirked in response "I think you're the one who's impatient." You retorted, a smirk etched onto your face that set something off in Nate.
You were so.. bold.
But it didn't bother him. In fact, it made him want to use you in every way possible, because he knew the moment he'd be inside you, that bratty attitude would disappear.
He always was so gentle with you, because he had no reason to be rough. But if you kept that act up, he might have to change his ways for the night. "Careful baby, you don't wanna make me mad." He warned, but his tone was still playful.
You pressed your thighs together at the subtle warning, god you needed him so bad. "Maybe I do." You smiled, before you realized what just slipped out of your mouth.
Nate scoffed, looking down at you as if you were the most prized possession ever. "Yeah? You think you could handle me getting mad?" Nate's voice was calm, as if he was testing the waters. His hands moved down to grip your thighs tightly as he bent down. "Because baby, I don't think you can."
"Try me." you challenged him playfully, clearly unaware of what you'd get yourself into. He chuckled drily as he shook his head. Then his gaze moved back to your face "I mean," you started as you shyly looked down "maybe you'll actually enjoy it that way.."
Nate's brows furrowed, as he tried to understand what you're implying "What do you mean?" he finally asked. You were fidgeting with your fingers as you pouted.
"I don't know.. I just feel like you're not fully enjoying it. At first I thought it's because I'm not attractive enough or anything," you stated, which resulted in Nate furrowing his brows even further because he couldn't believe you actually still thought that way. "but now I just think.. you're hiding something from me."
Why did you have to be so cute?
He searched your eyes, looking for a sign that he could tell you the truth without you being weirded out. Of course he enjoyed having sex with you, even when he wasn't his usual rough self. But even he couldn't deny the fact that he was holding back all the time.
He sighed before trying to find a way to explain it to you "I'm not hiding anything from you, it's just... I don't want to hurt you, or make you feel uncomfortable.." he explained.
You tilted your head, as you looked at him in confusion. "But I am comfortable with you. And.. if I'm uncomfortable with whatever it is you'd do, I'd tell you and we can just.. do something else." You assured him with a smile. He knew you wouldn't tell him you're uncomfortable.
You never did.
You didn't when Nate made you change your style, You didn't when Nate asked you to try on the lingerie and you sure as hell didn't, when he drove like a lunatic earlier.
Did he use that to his advantage? Definitely, but at the end of the day you can't be mad at him for crossing the line when you're too scared to tell him, right?
Nate sighed in response before shaking his head. You pouted as you looked up at him "What is it Nate.. tell me what you like." you pushed, to which Nate shook his head again "What is so bad that you can't even tell me?"
His jaw tensed, and for a moment it was so quiet, you thought he might ignore the question and get mad "I like control." he responded to which you furrowed your brows "But.. you are in control already.." you trailed off, confused by what he meant.
"Not like that, princess." he chuckled darkly, his patience wearing thin "Then how?" you pressed, your tone soft but insistent.
He ran his hand through his hair, sighing as he tried to find the right words "I don't just want control. I want all of you, completely." you blinked up at him, still as confused as before "But you have me, Nate." you whispered sincerely.
He shook his head, "Not the way I want." he finally admitted. "Then show me, or tell me how you want me." you whined as you looked up at him.
Nate searched your eyes for any sign of fear or doubt, but when he found none, he decided to tell you. He knew you still weren't sober, which meant that you'd react to it more casually.
And who knows, maybe you'd even forget about all of this once you'd wake up tomorrow. "I wanna make you beg for me, cry for me, fuck I just.." He groaned as he closed his eyes in an attempt to calm down.
But you still sat there, not even scared, like he feared. "Nate, I already told you that you can be yourself with me, and that I understand you. That also applies to this." You reminded him, as you took his hand in yours, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
You didn't want to admit it, the fact that you were excited, and that the thought of him being a little rougher ignited something within you. But you feared you might have to, in order to convince him to fully let go.
"And who knows.." you started, your tone playful, "maybe I'll like it better that way, too." you smirked, knowing that you probably would. "Let's just try it out, yeah?" you pressed, hoping to coax him in somehow.
He didn't respond, and the room filled with silence as he contemplated your words once more. With one final nod he leaned down to capture your lips in a soft kiss, a stark contrast for what was to come.

When he pulled back, his forehead rested lightly against yours as he whispered "I love you so fucking much, you know that?" you nodded, a soft smile on your lips. "I love you too."
He smiled back, but his smile didn't last long, as if a flip switched, his smile was replaced by an expression that made your stomach flip– a mix of hunger and want so intense, it felt like you've never seen it before.
His hands moved to the straps of your dress, his touch precise as he slid them down your arms. Once he reached your waist, he gave you a commanding look "Lift your hips for me, baby."
You immediately obeyed, as he pulled the dress off, leaving you in the special lingerie set Nate had bought you.
The one you wore during your first time.
His breath hitched for a moment before he chuckled breathlessly "Fuck.." he shook his head "you're insane." he declared, as his gaze lingered on your body.
You giggled in return "Am I?" you purred, as you shifted onto your knees and crawled further up the bed, giving him a perfect view of your backside.
For a moment he thought he'd lose it.
He'd already lose his mind when you were shy and anxious around him, always needing his reassurance for everything. But this? Seeing you all confident and seductive, almost as if you felt like you were in charge, probably turned him on just as much.
Because he knew he had the power to turn you into a mess in no time.
Nate was quick to undo his belt, and for some reason the sound of his belt clacking made you feel even more excited. Once he got rid of his pants, he climbed onto his bed, hovering over you.
You swallowed harshly, almost feeling like you got into trouble. He pushed one knee between your thighs, his two hands placed next to your head as he caged you under him.
"I'm gonna ruin you tonight." he simply stated, as his eyes bore into yours. But you only nodded and smiled up at him.
He leaned down towards your neck, his mouth leaving wet kisses along your sensitive skin, and for some reason that simple action already ripped a moan from you.
his kisses started becoming more hectic, until he finally started sucking a hickey onto your lower neck. You gasped, caught off guard by the pain, but growing to like it as your hand flew to his hair. "Mmh.. Nate.." you hummed, the ache between your thighs growing stronger.
Nate noticed it as well, simply by the way you started squirming under him, and the increasing speed of your breathing.
He lifted his head to look at you, smirking as he saw the desperation in your face. His hand moved down over your stomach, causing you to shudder, until it reached the waistband of your panties.
"You're so sensitive tonight," Nate chuckled when his hand wandered further down, feeling the wet patch on your panties.
Your mouth parted slightly when his fingers pressed onto the damp spot, your hips bucking up in response. "What got you so worked up?" He added, his finger moving in circular motions.
You struggled to form a coherent sentence, the only thing leaving your mouth being gasps and broken moans. "I-I.." Nate chuckled as he watched you struggle. "we h-haven't done this in... so long.. fuck." you interrupted yourself, as Nate slid past your panties and inserted one finger into you.
He could feel how tight you were, clearly proving your point. "Mhm, you're right.." he nodded, as he felt your walls pulsate around him "You could've just told me that you needed me." he muttered, before kissing along your jaw.
"You know I'd never turn you down." he added, before plunging another finger inside. You nodded as a whimper escaped your lips "I-I know.." you whined, as your hands fisted the bed sheets.
Nate paid close attention to your face, as your brows furrowed in concentration. When he angled his fingers higher, he watched as your eyes widened, and your breathing became more irregular.
"Right here?" he asked cockily, speeding up his movements. You nodded as a string of moans left your lips. "Fuck.. oh my god.." you groaned.
Nate loved it when you'd curse, not only did you sound incredibly hot while you did it, it also felt like he was ruining you more and more.
He knew you were close, so close to your release, but he couldn't allow you to cum yet. Not when he wanted you to beg for him. With one final run against your way too sensitive clit, he withdrew his fingers, and you immediately felt empty.
You looked up at him as if you couldn't believe what just happened, but Nate just chuckled "Relax, I just wanted to remove your panties." He lied, as his hands moved back to your waistband, this time he didn't even need to tell you to lift your hips before he pulled them off in one swift move.
He hummed in approval, before leaning down to press kisses onto your soft stomach. You squirmed in response, desperately trying to move higher up the bed just to feel his mouth closer to– "Why are you moving so much?"
Nate pulled you back down, before he continued to kiss along your belly "Nate, please.." you whined, causing Nate to smirk against your skin. "Yeah?" he asked, as he glanced up at you. "Can you.. use your fingers again?"
He nodded, before dragging his fingers along your abdomen, "Like this?" he asked with a completely straight face. You only groaned in response "No not like that!" you retorted, as your hand moved down to his wrist, attempting to drag his hand further south.
But to your surprise, his hand didn't budge a bit "Nate!" you scolded, sulking as you looked at him "Yeah?" he deadpanned, clearly aware of what you wanted "You need to be more specific with what you want, Baby." he explained.
You pouted "Can't I show you what I want?" you tried to move his hand lower, but again, he didn't budge. He shook his head in response "No, but you can tell me what you want."
You huffed, before rolling your eyes "I want your fingers, inside me." you instructed, your tone way too bratty for his liking. His eyes turned dark as he glared at you "So demanding.. why don't you beg for it then?"
You scoffed, unable to believe he was being serious "Nate, please, I'm begging you." you pleaded, still trying to wiggle into the right position. "That didn't sound like begging, more like.. pleading." He rasped as he traced his fingers lower, until they brushed lightly over your clit.
You gasped, still bucking your hips in search for stimulation. "Nate, please, I-I already begged." You whined, to which Nate hummed "Yeah, but it didn't sound convincing the first time." he responded, before circling a finger over your entrance, his eyes practically glued to your face.
You continued to move around, until he placed his other hand onto your stomach to hold you down. "Nate!" you whimpered, as you threw your head back. "Please, please." You begged once more, the sound music to his ears, "Please what?" he responded, his finger still circling your hole.
"I need your fingers.. inside me, please." You breathed out. He nodded, "Good girl." he said, before moving further up, his face inches away from yours. You looked up at him, your eyes slightly glossy.
When he finally plunged two fingers back into you with ease, your eyes rolled back, enjoying the moment. But it was only short lived because Nate was quick to pull them out again, still not done teasing you. You whined again, close to sobbing.
He held them up for you to see "Look at that," he stated, scissoring his fingers, the string of your wetness connecting them "See how wet you are already?" he asked condescendingly, knowing you'd probably turn shy again.
Except, you didn't.
You were way too desperate to be shy "I know, please, why did you stop?" you pouted instead, not even paying attention to the way his fingers were glistening.
Nate scoffed before complying and pushing them back inside, his eyes never leaving yours. You moaned in relief, relaxing again as he pumped them in and out.
You closed your eyes when his thumb started to toy with your nub, but opened them just as fast when he halted his movements. "Keep your eyes open." He demanded before continuing, "W-why?" you asked, as you blinked up at him.
"I want you to look at me." he reasoned, before leaning down even further, his hot breath fanning over your face. You tilted your head, your lips parting as if you silently asked for a kiss.
And he knew, of course he knew, his mouth curving into a smile. He leaned down just enough for his lips to brush over yours.
The soft touch, made your breath hitch and you instinctively chased his lips, but he kept pulling back, only allowing your lips to brush against his.
When you whined, your eyes turning glossy once again, he finally leaned in, kissing you deeply, as his fingers moved faster. You moaned into his mouth as your brows furrowed, you were close. So close again.
When Nate broke the kiss, his lips still millimeters away from yours you panted "I'm close.." you whimpered, "Yeah?" he asked, as he felt you clench around him, ready to finally let go. You nodded, bracing yourself as your hand moved to his shoulder.
You were about to let the feeling of bliss and relief wash over you, but Nate removed his hand completely from your mound. And you just stared up at him, tears clouding your vision as you were unable to believe he did that.
You sobbed, as your orgasm slipped away. Your hand was quick to move down, ready to relieve yourself but just as you reached your clit, Nate's strong hand gripped yours and pinned it down, next to your head.
You sobbed again, tears rolling down the side of your face as you panted. And Nate was reeling, he was sure that there hasn't been a single moment in his life were he was this hard.
He couldn't even say anything, for a moment he just watched you cry and struggle under him. "W-why are you.. why did you d-do that?" you sobbed, waiting for him to do something, anything.
He cooed, as his hand came up to wipe your tears away. "I'm sorry, Baby." He apologized, but even in your current state you could tell he wasn't serious.
He slid off the bed to remove his boxers, when he saw your hungry gaze, he chuckled. "Do you wanna take 'em off for me?" He asked, as he stepped closer to you. And as if on command, you rolled over towards him.
Nate waited until your shaky hands pulled his boxers down, his length slapping against his stomach as he stepped out of his boxers. You almost audibly moaned at the mere sight, still shocked by how big he is, especially up close.
Your hand stretched out to touch him, but Nate's hand was wrapped around your wrist once again. You looked up at him through your wet lashes, as if you were waiting for him to let go so you could touch him.
"Say please." He demanded softly, and you immediately obliged. "Please." You whispered. He removed his grip on you, watching intently as you wrapped your hand around him, stroking his erection softly.
Nate groaned, until you looked up at him again "Can I try... Can I.. put it in my mouth?" You asked eagerly, your tongue swiping over your lips.
The question caught him off guard, but he still nodded "Go ahead, princess, but be careful." he warned, knowing how inexperienced you were.
You nodded before opening your mouth wide, your hand slowly leading his head into your mouth. Nate inhaled sharply when his leaking tip came in contact with your tongue.
You wrapped your mouth around his head, trying to get used to the foreign feeling, and the salty taste of his precum. You looked up at him for a second, until his intense gaze became too much for you.
Nate chuckled breathlessly "No, keep looking at me." he rasped. His resolve was starting to crumble, as he looked into your shy eyes. You were determined to take more of him into your mouth.
Nate threaded his hand through your hair, as he watched you struggle. The urge to push your head further down, and force his cock down your throat was immense.
But he couldn't afford to break your trust, so he slowly pulled you off, a string of saliva connecting your mouth with his length. And as if on instinct, your head leaned in again, ready to take him back into your mouth.
Nate tightened his grip on your hair, as he chuckled darkly "Look at you," he taunted "so fucking needy for my cock." You whined in response, starting to feel shy again as you averted your gaze. Nate tugged on your hair, causing you to gasp and look back up at him. "Did you like it?" he asked, to which you nodded.
"Yeah, I bet you did.." he scoffed, as his gaze wandered to your thighs, which were desperately rubbing against each other. "Nate.. please." You whined as your desperation for him grew.
"Please what?" He pressed, despite knowing what you were asking for "Please fuck me, Nate, I'm begging you." You nearly cried out.
Nate groaned in response, in love with the way you begged for him. He nodded, removing his hand from your hair before he slid back into his bed. You turned back onto your back, your legs instantly welcoming him back.
He wanted to degrade you so bad.
When he hovered above you, he leaned down again, kissing along your collarbone and your neck, just to torture you further. When he heard you whimper and beg again, he decided to lift his head and stop, before his hands wandered below your back to unclasp your bra.
Once the bra was roses anywhere in his room, his mouth was back on you, this time on your breasts. Usually you loved having his mouth on you, but right now you needed him to be inside you. So you begged again, hoping he'd finally give in.
And he almost did.
He brushed the tip of his dick against your nub, causing you to shudder beneath him. He was just about to sink into you when he realized something.
He wasn't wearing a condom.
He knew you were too far gone to care or to realize, but he wasn't. He wanted to push the doubts aside, especially when he looked into your eyes, seeing the way you were aching for him.
But what about the consequences? Would it be in his favour if you'd end up pregnant? Maybe your parents would take you away from him, move again, or maybe, just maybe, it'd tie you two together in a way that no one— not Max, or your parents, or anyone else— could undo.
The thought hit him like a truck, it was so wrong but he just couldn't help himself. The thought of getting you pregnant was terrifyingly tempting.
And you were completely oblivious, what if this was his only chance? The only chance to make the right thing for both of you?
But he also knew that it wouldn't be as easy as he imagined it to be. You would be angry at him, because you trusted him, you'd know that he wasn't drunk enough to 'accidentally' get you pregnant.
But maybe he could explain it to you, maybe you'd understand—"Nate..? What's wrong?" You whispered, worried you had upset him somehow. Were you being too needy? Was he angry?
His jaw clenched as he tried to make a decision, his hand gripping your thigh so hard you were sure it would bruise. "You're mine.. right?" he suddenly asked, his tone serious.
You smiled, your fingers trailing up his arm, "Always." you whispered, your voice soft and breathless.
Always— that word, the way you reassured him.
His grip on your thighs remained tight as he hesitated, frozen in place. You didn't even notice, shifting beneath him impatiently, almost as if you were luring him in to give in.
God, he wanted to, he wanted nothing else in that moment. The thought of making you his once again, was intoxicating.
But you were drunk, and as much as he internally screamed at himself to do it, another part—one that you had practically implanted in him during the time of your relationship—told him to stop.
You deserved this, you deserved a chance to think this through. This could, and would, change everything, and he wasn't in the position to decide that now.
He nodded, before he reached over the bedside table and retrieved a condom from one of the drawers. He quickly ripped the package and tossed it away, before sliding it over his by now painfully hard erection.
His jaw was still clenched however, and he was confused by how much you had changed him. It bothered him in a way, made him feel like he became soft. Usually he wouldn't give a fuck about something being wrong.
What were you doing to him?
He lined up with your entrance, before immediately diving into you with ease, a groan leaving his lips as you immediately clenched around him. Your eyes rolled back as you released a long moan, more than happy that you finally got what you wanted.
He groaned as he set a ruthless pace, slamming into you as you tried to catch your breath. Nate grabbed your thighs and pushed them further towards your chest, allowing him to go even deeper.
It was as if a flip switched inside him. He seemed so calm just a moment ago, but now he was beyond frustrated, both because he held back this entire time, and because he didn't like the effect you had on him.
You didn't care though, completely blending his voice out as you tried to finally reach your high. You knew he was talking to you, saying something about how you were changing him, and how he was about to ruin you now, but despite all that, you were too focused on the feeling of his deep inside you.
Until his hand was suddenly wrapped around your throat.
Your eyes shot open as you stared at him "I said fucking look at me." he gritted through his teeth, his pace not faltering one bit. You blinked up at him as his hand tightened.
Based on the look on his face, you should be scared and try to calm him down. But you weren't scared, in fact it turned you on even more, because it was such a stark contrast to the way he usually treated you.
This is what you meant when you told him to let go, and to be himself. "Nate." You choked out, your eyes once again glassing over. It took him a moment to realize how hard he squeezed your throat.
And it turned him on so much.
The fact that he got to decide whether you'll breathe or not was so thrilling, but it quickly reminded him of the way he choked Maddy and how much of a deal it was.
He grunted, just about to loosen his grip, when he felt you clench around him, your pussy literally pulsating as you stared up at him. He smirked as he looked down at you, halting his movements "Fuck.. you're into this, aren't you?" he taunted.
When you didn't respond and only whined because he stopped rutting into you, he chuckled mockingly "You're acting like a fucking slut." he spat, as he leaned down closer, watching tears form in your eyes again.
He loosened his grip, allowing you to talk. But you only coughed and cried out "Nate p-please.. I was so close.." you sobbed, your voice raspy from the rough treatment Nate gave you just mere seconds ago.
He blinked, unable to believe you were solely focused on the fact that he stopped pleasuring you, instead of the the fact that he degraded you.
"I know, baby.." He slowly continued moving again, causing your eyes to roll back immediately as you moaned loudly. "It's just so much fun to tease you, I can't help myself.. You look so pretty when you cry for me." He explained as he trusted into you harder again.
You panted as your hand wrapped around Nate's wrist. Not because you wanted to pull his hand away from your throat, but because you just needed something to hold onto as he wrecked you. "Nate, I'm gonna cum.. fuck.." you warned, knowing this one would be intense.
He nodded squeezing your throat once again "Beg for it.. beg for me to let you cum." you didn't waste any time as you begged, "Please, fuck.. Nate please.." you whimpered, continuing to plead as tears were starting to build up again.
Nate would love to continue watching you like this: desperate, fucked out, crying, but he decided you must've suffered enough. So his hand moved from your throat down your body until his thumb landed on your clit.
You started panting, getting closer and closer to your orgasm until the relief finally washed over you. You felt the world blur around you as you let the intense feeling wash over you.
Nate watched in awe as your face started to contort in pleasure, knowing he was the reason. It brought him closer to his release, as he continued to thrust into you.
You blinked up at him as you lazily shook your head, overwhelmed by the pleasure. Nate only chuckled "What? Too much?" when you nodded, he continued "Weren't you begging for this just a moment ago? I think you can take it baby.."
You whimpered as he continued to push into you, it all felt too much for you as your shaky hand reached out for his cheek "Nate.. 's too much.." you whispered shakily.
Nate groaned in response, getting closer and closer. He just couldn't stop pounding into you, it felt too good to stop, and you sounded and looked so pretty.
Your eyes rolled back as Nate continued to hit all the right spots, despite you being sensitive and completely overwhelmed by the feeling you couldn’t help it. It all felt too good.
"Fuck.." Nate groaned when you squeezed him tightly. He knew he could make you cum again, and he was going to do it.
His mouth was glued onto your neck as he continued to flick your way too sensitive clit “Gonna be a good girl and cum for me again?” he mumbled onto your skin as his thrust grew more deliberate.
The way he called you a good girl had your eyes rolling back into your skull. His rhythm faltered slightly as he fought to hold back. His mind was filled with you —your sounds, the faint scent of your perfume mixed with your very own scent, how perfect you looked beneath him.
“Nate!” You moaned, the only thing on your mind as you reached your high a second time. As your walls contracted around him, his thrusts grew erratic, he removed his hand from your clit and gripped your thighs as he rammed into you with force.
His body seemed to move on pure instinct, his muscles tensed as he released a low guttural moan, cursing as his climax finally washed over him. He shuddered as he emptied himself inside you, wishing the condom wasn’t between you both.
He savoured every second of his orgasm as he buried himself deep inside you one final time, his head resting in your neck. Your shallow breathing filled the room, as you laid there sprawled out.
Your eyes were closed as you tried to catch your breath. You almost felt weightless as you almost drifted off to sleep. Nate noticed that, as he looked at your face. His thumb stroked gently asking your cheek “Y/n?” he called out softly.
Your eyes opened slowly “Yeah..” you managed to whisper. Nate chuckled once he was aware that you’re fine. “Too much for you, huh?” he taunted, his voice showing signs of pride and satisfaction.
You gave him a weak smile as you shook your head. “No..” You protested, but Nate was clearly aware that you were about to pass out any moment. He chuckled as he slowly pulled out of you, drawing a groan from you.
He sighed, as he removed the condom and threw it into the bin. He wanted to draw you a bath and dress you into his shirt, but as he got out of bed you pulled the blanket over you and rolled onto the side without uttering another word.
He just stared at you for a minute, admiring his work as he took in the sight of your disheveled hair, the marks on your neck—for which you’d definitely scold him later on.
He went to the bathroom to freshen up a little, before he walked to his bed, turned the lights off, and laid down next to you, pulling you against him as he did.
You truly were his

desperate
pairing: yuuji itadori x f!reader
Tumblr media
genre: fluff
a/n: i quit my old soul-crushing job and i’m desperately trying to finish off all wips before i start my new job svdndjsj please enjoy 🙏🏻 live laugh lovesick yuuji 🫡💕 very shamelessly got inspired by this post
Tumblr media
nobara said yuuji shouldn’t call you.
“you don’t want her to think that you’re desperate, right?”
yeah, maybe.
but here’s a thing that a considerate friend that is nobara didn’t take into account.
yuuji is crazy about you and he is indeed very desperate for you and your attention. he is filled with joy and excitement whenever he hears your voice – it’s almost pavlovian, very embarrassing. or at least could be, if yuuji cared enough. his pride is a small price to pay to have a wonder that is you in his life.
but yuuji has to admit, maybe nobara is right. at the end of the day you two are not dating (yet, as yuuji very much hopes). you two are not even very close friends (yet, again, as yuuji hopes).
yuuji’s finger lingers over a call button under your name embezzled with a variety of heart emojis.
“at least text her before calling, you know, it’s kind of a new etiquette these days, not to call someone unannounced,” yuuji remembers nobara’s chastising. it makes yuuji hesitate. of course, he doesn’t want to seem like an ignorant bumpkin who isn’t aware of social cues. what if you’re busy? which you probably are because you are so smart and cool. and you are definitely a great texter (even if you weren’t, yuuji wouldn’t know any better because he is that much in love).
with a sigh, yuuji slides over to messages and starts typing rather pathetically “hiiii how are you???” while fighting the urge to add like a gazillion emojis to express himself better. nobara is really getting into his head, yuuji sighs. this is hard considering he is not exactly an overthinker (that would require having more than one thought and his only singular thought right now is you). a text is better than nothing, sure, but yuuji really really really needs to hear your voice. so he rushes back to his contacts and gathers every ounce of willpower to press on your name.
after almost painful eleven seconds you pick up. yuuji’s breathing hitches a little when he hears your sleepy “hello?”
he wants to throw himself from a window.
he forgot it’s almost 3 am.
“hi, um, hey. sorry, you’re asleep.”
what an absolute mess.
“well, not anymore,” you softly laugh. yuuji, though embarrassed, is so happy to hear your laughter.
“sorry.”
“it’s okay, yuuji. did something happen?”
well, kinda. obviously, yuuji’s not going to tell you that he’s just so down bad for you that he called you up in the middle of the night for no reason.
“no, nothing, i- i’m sorry, it’s nothing urgent, i better call you tomorrow.”
“are you sure? i mean, it’s…” he hears you scramble. “three in the morning. it has got to be an emergency.”
it is, just not a conventional one. yuuji violently shakes his head and then remembers that you can’t see him (why is he such a fool when it comes to you?)
“no, no, i’m sorry, i screwed up. i forgot that not everyone stays up late like me. go to sleep. sorry.”
“stop apologising, it’s all fine. okay, i’ll believe that there’s no emergency. but you better call me tomorrow to confirm that you’re okay.”
yuuji’s cheeks are burning.
“yeah, of course. sorry again.”
you laughed.
“good night, yuuji.”
“good night.”
yuuji’s fingers shake when he types the first message.
“sorry, i actually didn’t mean to call you.”
delivered.
yuuji’s eyes are not leaving the screen beaming brightly into his face.
read.
his palms are suddenly cold.
dot, dot, dot.
“it’s okay,” followed by a smiley emoji and a thumbs up. such a you thing to send. for a minute he contemplates going to sleep and maybe die from embarrassment in his sleep but something takes him over. before he can register it, his fingers start typing.
“fuck it”
delivered, read.
“i did mean to call”
delivered, read.
“i wanted to talk to you”
delivered, read.
“to hear your voice and your laugh”
delivered, read.
yuuji can physically feel the blood rushing away from his limbs when he sees three dancing dots.
“i want to hear your voice, too.”
yuuji’s head is spinning as he fights the urge to jump around the room while smiling at his phone like a madman. megumi and nobara for sure would be disgusted at this sight. he is so ecstatic that he almost misses the next message.
“ft?”
his long calloused fingers dance across the screen to quickly type “i’ll call you”.
he rushes to facetime.
you pick up almost instantly.
yuuji looks at your face, traces of sleep still present in your expression but he can see – and it makes his heart flutter – that you are genuinely happy to see him, too.
you both spent a few intimate moments staring at each other’s badly lit faces, glowing under the dim lights of your screens in the dark, until yuuji finally finds the courage to break the silence.
“so… did you sleep well?”
you quietly laugh and yuuji falls in love even harder though he thought it wasn’t possible. he can’t wait to tell the gang that being desperate pays off, and oh so well.
and what does nobara know anyway.

A cat proposal
summary : minho is in love & wants to marry you
pairing : Lee Know x reader, pre-established relationship.
genre : FLUFF
warnings : mention of wanting to have kids together at the end.
the things i would do to have this man.... hope you enjoy reading!! feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments, it will be very appreciated!! <33
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were lying down on the couch, Minho sprawled on top of you. His head was on your chest, his nose nuzzling your stomach every now and then as if to remind you he was there. And you were playing with the locks of his hair lazily, drawing mindless circles on his back from time to time.
It had been exactly two weeks since Minho moved in with you. You hadn't really had the time to relax, just the both of you. His schedule was hectic and so was yours, as it was nearing the end of the year. You only saw each other when he came home late to you; bringing your body to his and peppering kisses on the soft curve of your shoulder.
But today, he managed to come home early, and so did you. Which led to an impromptu movie night together. Still, you couldn't really focus on the movie, the dialogue coming to you like mindless chatter. You had something to suggest to Minho, and you didn't really know how he would take it.
He must have noticed that you were looking up at the ceiling, since he blew a raspberry on your stomach, prompting startled giggles from you. He smirks, before placing a small kiss on your bare skin, "what's going on in that pretty little head of yours?"
"I have something to tell you, just think about it okay? You don't have to reply now."
"Okay, tell me about it," he turns the TV off, giving you his undivided attention. It made you flustered, how he always looked at you like you were the only person that mattered on this earth.
"Well... since you moved in. I thought... why not bring your cats here in the apartment, this way you could see them more often and we could take care of them together," you start off, your rhythm accelerating with each word.
"I mean, I know it will take time for them to get used to a new place, so we could do it gradually? They could stay over for a weekend until they feel comfortable here," you start to ramble. "And you could put their toys and playhouse in the washing machine room since it's nearly empty, and we'd take turns taking care of them and I don't mind feeding them and changing their litter box when you are on tour, and I'd bring them to your parent's house because they might miss them and-"
"Honey, breathe," he chuckles and you stop, gulping. You really forgot how to breathe during your little speech.
After that, it's silent. Minho doesn't say anything, placing his head back on your stomach. Your cheeks are turning a crimson red from embarrassment, you just made a fool out of yourself, didn't you?
Your frantic train of thought is interrupted when Minho picks up your hand and starts kissing your knuckles softly. He doesn't look at you as he places chaste kisses on each of your fingertips; as if his lips meeting your skin was worthy of all his attention.
The truth is, Minho couldn't talk right now. Not because he didn't want to, but because he was afraid if he ever spoke, he wouldn't be able to stop the flow of words yearning to come out.
There are one million words in Korean, yet none of them seemed fit to express his adoration for you. He racked his brain for the right combination of words, because 'I love you' didn't cut it anymore. What he felt was more than love, it was a heart wrenching feeling in the most beautiful way.
Minho knew you loved him too, but it was in moments like this that he was reminded that you actually love him. That you were as infatuated with him as he was with you. That you thought about him just like he thought about you.
Kissing your fingertips, one at a time, he couldn't help but remember a fact he once read; there are twenty three words for love alone in Arabic. Maybe he should learn them, maybe he should learn every expression of love that was ever invented, every love poem that was written throughout history. And then he'd recite them to you, one by one. Maybe then you'd understand how you make him feel.
But he couldn't bring himself to tell you all of this, so instead, he settled on a love language that the both of you understood- touch. As his lips met your knuckles, he hoped that you'd feel it all through his kisses. That you'd know how much love he holds for you.
He finally looks up at you, his eyes holding yours in an intimate gaze. It's a while before he speaks again. "I will marry you one day, you know that right?" he whispers softly, as if it's a secret meant for the two of you alone.
Your breath hitches in your throat at his words, he wanted a forever with you?
"You mean that?" you whisper back, voice hoarse from the emotions you were barely keeping at bay.
"I do. Would you like that?" he asks in a small voice, as if there was a possibility you'd say no. You almost scoff at that thought; not in this life, not in the next one.
"Of course. I want to spend the rest of my life with you Min," you tell him sincerely, your eyes wide looking into his so he'd know how serious you are.
"I want... I want our cats here," he starts off, knocking the breath out of you, 'our'.
"And I want silly supermarket lists with you, that I wouldn't be able to read because your writing is shit," you both chuckle, his laugh reverberating through your entire body. You always felt it deep inside you when he laughed, as if it was a melody meant for you only to hear.
"And i want to brush my teeth with you. I want to come home and see you with the cats. I want to cook for you and I want to kiss you when I wake up and sleep," he whispers, head now buried into your chest as if he was embrassed to say those words out loud.
"And I want.. I want kids with you, I want a girl running around that looks just like you. And you'd both greet me at the door and I'd die a happy man."
Silent tears are falling out of your eyes right now, 'you'd be a good mother', he once told you. And now, he wanted you to be the mother of his kids. It felt like your heart was in his palm and that he was squeezing it with every word he said. But you didn't mind, you knew that Minho would never squeeze too far to break you. You were safe with him.
"We’ll have that my love, I promise," you smile, placing a sweet kiss on his head. "But i want a boy that looks like you,"you playfully pout.
"There could only be one me," he tsks, waving a hand in the air as if to dismiss your words.
"This is your son we are talking about," you laugh, your hand threading through his hair once again.
"Our son," he clarifies and you blush. "Yeah.. our", you repeat, a soft smile on your face and he finally looks up at you again.
You bop his nose with your finger playfully and he grins at the action. "So… does this mean you want the cats to move in?"
"Of course silly. My favorite people in one place, I can't wait."
"Cats are not people," you tease, and he rolls his eyes at your words.
"Details."
He then stands up, pulling you up with him. His hand gently cradles your jaw and his lips fall perfectly on top of yours; the kiss making stars swirl in front of your eyes. "I love you so much Min," you whisper in between kisses and he smiles, "I love you yn, so much more than you know."
"I know, you know, Lee Know," you joke and he pushes your face away with his finger, "Nevermind, I take my proposal back."
"No can do. You are stuck with me forever," you singsong, pulling him in for a tight hug.
Forever with you, he really liked the sound of that.

A bit of publishing stuff (if you get my newsletter you've already seen this)
So by now you lovely people have all seen the announcement about what books I have coming up next. Ragpicker King is coming March 4, 2025, and The Last King of Faerie is coming early 2026.
I know a lot of you were hoping for LKOF to come earlier. It’s going to be a big gap between the last Shadowhunter book and the next — three years. Previously the longest gap between Shadowhunter books was two years, between Mortal Instruments and the Dark Artifices.
I announced last year that I was taking time off — six months. It was the first time I’d taken any real time off since 2005. The pandemic had just happened and I was wiped out physically and mentally. I also needed to take stock of where I was in my publishing journey and really think about what I wanted — it had been years since I’d had time to consider whether I was happy, because I always had another deadline and that was always more important.
When I came to the end of The Last Hours, I was “out of contract” — meaning I didn’t have any further Shadowhunter books that were owned by or owed to a publisher.  it was the first time that had happened since, again, 2005. Being out of contract is your one chance to change anything you want to change about your career, and I knew I was going to leave my longtime US publisher of the Shadowhunter books and move to Random House, who published Sword Catcher.
This isn’t a small decision for any writer to make. It sometimes happens when a writer has been at a publisher for a very long time that the nature of the publisher changes. Maybe all the people you worked with when you first came to that publisher have gone elsewhere, so your team has inherited you rather than having chosen you. Maybe your publisher has been sold to another company whose vision for that publisher doesn’t fit with yours. Maybe your publisher isn’t interested in your genre anymore.
I spent a lot of time agonizing over the decision—I certainly could have stayed where I was, but I knew that was no longer the best decision for the books. So those of you who pay attention to these kinds of details will note that where the other Shadowhunter books have all been published by McElderry Books, these next ones will be published by Knopf. (Who are an amazing imprint. They make great books.)
Normally a writer wouldn’t really address switching publishers — it happens a lot, and most readers don’t care who publishes a book. I’m talking about it now because I know there will be a lot of people who are angry and don’t understand why Ragpicker King is coming out before Last King of Faerie. The short answer is: Ragpicker King has been under contract since it was sold along with Sword Catcher, years ago now, and I’m obligated to get it done when I said I was going to. The books of The Wicked Powers are only just now securely under contract enough to be announced, as you just saw! So Ragpicker King is planned to be turned in in a couple of months, and after that I will be able to focus entirely on The Last King of Faerie (which I already began, but since it was only sold to Knopf last October, I was only able to get started after that).
And it takes a a year at least to write a book and another good year or so to publish it, and that gets us to the pub dates we’ve got. I would love if I could get it to you earlier, but multiple factors have brought us to this point, and in the end, not rushing through them is the best thing for the books, and will produce the best version of those books. I always want to get you my best work — that’s what is important to me above all things.
In terms of other publishers in other countries — I’m staying with all my longterm Shadowhunter publishers. Nothing’s going to change for y’all — Walker Books is still publishing Shadowhunters in the UK, even though a different publisher is going to publish In Fire Foretold there (due to spiciness.) ;)
For those of you who backed the Kickstarter, that will mean you do get new Shadowhunter content between now and early 2026* — which was part of the reason I did it! I’m also talking to my new publisher about bringing Better in Black out — with at least a six month gap for the Kickstarter backers to have it to themselves — so fingers crossed. There’s also Black Volume of the Dead, the final Eldest Curses book, which is still planned and which I am still excited to write, but since it is set after Last King of Faerie, it hasn’t been scheduled yet. More news on that as it develops—for now, I wanted to talk directly about the schedule in the next couple of years, since I feel confident it is set and will reliably happen this way, something I can’t yet say about 2027 and beyond. The point is, I’m really excited to bring you Wicked Powers just as soon as it is ready, and I know enough about it to say  it’s going to be quite a ride!
And also an early look at In Fire Foretold.

I don't know if you're taking requests, but can you do something where the reader and Lando broke up after they had a stupid fight about where readerfeels they haven't spent any time together so lando tells her to leave in a fit of rage. (One Lando regrets and is very sad. Sad boy.) And a few weeks later reader gets into a accident and the hospital calls him because he's next of kin when they were dating and when he gets there he's freaked and the doctors surprises him by saying the baby's fine, but reader tells lando that he has to be there for them both thats why she didn't tell him because she didn't want her baby to feel second best. Happy ending, though, please. I'm sorry if that's long.
never enough (ln4)

The tension in the room was suffocating, every word between them cutting deeper than the last. Y/N stood near the dining table, her arms crossed, her face a mixture of frustration and heartbreak. Lando sat on the couch, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees, running his hands through his hair.
“You don’t even try anymore, Lando!” Y/N’s voice cracked as she spoke, but her words were sharp. “I can’t remember the last time you actually looked at me like I mattered to you. Do you even care?”
His head snapped up, his eyes blazing. “Don’t you dare say that, Y/N. Don’t you dare act like I don’t care. I’m doing my best here!”
“Your best?” she scoffed, her tone bitter. “Your best is spending every waking moment either at the track, with the team, or in your own world. You’re never here. Not really.”
Lando stood abruptly, the movement startling. “I’m sorry that I have a career that demands everything from me! What do you want me to do? Quit? Give it all up just to sit here and hold your hand?”
“That’s not what I’m asking for, and you know it!” Y/N fired back, her voice trembling with barely contained anger. “I’m asking for you to make time for me. For us. But I’m always the one waiting, always the one begging for scraps of your attention. I can’t keep doing this, Lando. I feel like I’m not even a priority anymore!”
His fists clenched at his sides, his voice rising as frustration overtook him. “And I feel like no matter what I do, it’s never enough for you! I’m stretched thin, Y/N! I don’t know what else you want from me!”
“I want you to act like you actually love me!” she shouted, tears now streaming down her face. “Like I’m more than just someone waiting for you at home!”
“Fine!” he yelled, his voice thunderous in the quiet room. “If I’m so terrible—if being with me is such a burden—then maybe you should just leave!”
The words hung in the air like a death sentence, and Y/N froze, staring at him as if he had just struck her. “What?” she whispered, her voice barely audible.
“Leave,” Lando said again, though his voice was quieter now, the anger giving way to something more hollow. “If this isn’t enough for you, then just...go.”
Her breath hitched, the weight of his words crashing down on her. She shook her head, her voice trembling. “You don’t mean that.”
“Maybe I do,” he muttered, though his eyes betrayed the regret already forming in his chest.
Y/N’s hands trembled as she grabbed her bag from the chair, slinging it over her shoulder. “You’ll regret this,” she said quietly, her voice breaking on the last word.
He didn’t respond, his silence cutting deeper than any argument could have.
And when the door slammed shut behind her, the emptiness it left behind was deafening.
-- time skip --
It had been weeks since Y/N left, and the emptiness in Lando’s flat mirrored the hollow ache in his chest. The regret weighed heavily on him, an unrelenting reminder of what he had lost. He tried to focus on racing, to bury himself in work, but it only made the silence louder.
Every room held memories of her—the scent of her perfume lingering in the air, the mug she always used sitting untouched on the kitchen counter. He stared at it now, running his thumb over the rim, a pang of guilt twisting his stomach.
"I’m sorry," he whispered to the empty room, though he knew it was far too late.
His phone buzzed on the counter, jolting him from his thoughts. The screen lit up with an unknown number. Frowning, he picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Is this Mr. Norris?" a calm but urgent voice asked.
"Yes, this is Lando Norris," he replied, his chest tightening with unease.
"This is St. Thomas’ Hospital. You’re listed as the emergency contact for Y/N Y/L/N. She’s been in an accident."
The world seemed to tilt on its axis. "What? An accident? Is she okay?" His voice cracked as panic surged through him.
"She’s stable, but you need to come down to the hospital immediately."
Lando didn’t think twice. Grabbing his keys, he bolted out the door, his heart pounding in his chest. The drive to the hospital felt like an eternity, every possible worst-case scenario playing in his mind.
At the Hospital
He burst through the hospital doors, scanning for the reception desk. "Y/N Y/L/N," he said breathlessly. "She was in an accident. Where is she?"
The nurse directed him to a room, and he practically sprinted down the hall. When he reached her room, he froze in the doorway.
Y/N was lying in the hospital bed, her face pale and a bandage on her forehead. But she was awake, her eyes widening when they landed on him.
"Lando?" she asked, her voice faint.
"I’m here," he said, stepping inside. His voice trembled as he approached her. "God, Y/N, are you okay? They told me about the accident—"
"I’m fine," she interrupted gently, though her voice was tired. "Just a few bruises and stitches."
Before he could respond, a doctor walked in, holding a clipboard.
"Ah, Mr. Norris, I’m glad you’re here," the doctor said with a kind smile.
"Is she okay? What happened?" Lando asked, his panic bubbling to the surface again.
"She’s stable, and the baby is fine as well," the doctor replied casually.
Lando blinked, the words not registering at first. "The baby?"
Y/N closed her eyes, exhaling deeply.
The doctor, sensing the tension, quickly excused herself.
Lando stared at Y/N, his mind racing. "You’re pregnant?"
"Yes," she said quietly, her gaze fixed on the blanket covering her legs.
"Why didn’t you tell me?" he asked, his voice breaking.
She finally looked at him, her eyes glistening with tears. "Because I couldn’t do this alone with you half in and half out of our lives, Lando. I needed to know you’d be there. Not just physically, but really there. For me and for this baby. I didn’t want my child to feel like a second choice."
"Second choice?" he repeated, his voice filled with anguish. "Y/N, I’ve made so many mistakes, but loving you was never one of them. I was stupid, I was selfish, and I pushed you away because I didn’t know how to balance everything. But this? This is everything. You and our baby are everything."
Tears slipped down her cheeks as she listened to his words. "Lando, I can’t do this if I’m going to be fighting for your attention. Our child deserves better than that."
He moved closer, kneeling by her bed and taking her hand in his. "You won’t have to fight anymore, Y/N. I promise. I’ll be there for you and for our baby. I’ll do whatever it takes to prove it to you. Just—just don’t shut me out."
Her lip trembled as she stared into his eyes, seeing the sincerity in them. "I need you to mean that, Lando. Not just for me, but for them."
"I do," he said firmly, his voice steady despite the tears pooling in his eyes. "I’ll be there for both of you, every step of the way."
After a long pause, she nodded, her grip on his hand tightening slightly. "Okay. But you get one chance, Lando. Don’t waste it."
"I won’t," he vowed, pressing a kiss to her knuckles.
For the first time in weeks, a sense of hope filled the room. It wasn’t going to be easy, but together, they could make it work.
time skip
Months later, Lando stood in a nursery he had painted himself, his hand resting on Y/N’s bump as they admired the crib he’d built.
"You really went all out, didn’t you?" she teased, smiling up at him.
"Nothing but the best for our baby," he said, leaning down to kiss her forehead.
Y/N smiled softly, her heart full as she rested her head against his shoulder. Maybe they had started rocky, but in this moment, she knew they were exactly where they were meant to be.

you stood outside the lodge, unsure if your legs could carry you any further. the biting wind cut through the trees, and though you had bundled up against the cold, it wasn’t the chill of the mountain that made you hesitate. it was something far heavier. the weight of memories.
the last time you were here, everything had fallen apart. you were terrified that if you moved an inch closer, all of those moments, the laughter, the heartache, the things you never wanted to relive, would come rushing back, pulling you under the weight of it all.
then there was josh.
oh how you loved that boy.
maybe too much.
in the beginning, it was everything you’d ever wanted. he held you close, loved you fiercely. you were his world, and you had revelled in that attention, that passion. it felt intoxicating to be seen, to be adored in the way josh would. he loved you hard, so it wasn’t difficult to be swept up in the intensity of it all.
but what started as love slowly became something darker without you even realising it. things began to shift. at first, it was small, comments disguised as jokes, a flicker of jealousy in his eyes when you’d laugh a little too long with someone else.
you brushed it off, convincing yourself it was nothing. but as the weeks went on, those moments of possessiveness became more frequent, more obvious.
he grew jealous, watching your every move as if waiting for you to slip up, to somehow betray the trust he once seemed to have in you. the possessiveness had started to wear on you, taking up the space where your love had once been.
you remembered the last argument so clearly. the way he had looked at you, his tone sharp with accusation. it wasn’t the first time he’d let his jealousy get the better of him, but this time, it felt different. there was a venom in his words you hadn’t seen before, a distrust so deep it made your heart ache.
“i saw the way you were talking to matt,” josh had spat, his voice low but charged with anger. “you think i’m stupid? you think i don’t notice?”
you had stared at him, shocked, like he was insane. he’d completely and utterly lost it.
did he truly believe you were capable of something like that? did he think so little of you now?
“are you serious?” you’d asked, your voice wobbled with hurt and disbelief. “you think i’d betray you like that? with matt, of all people?”
you’d never once given him reason to doubt you, never once strayed from your commitment to him. and yet here he was, accusing you of things that existed only in his mind, letting his insecurity and paranoia twist what had once been good between you.
you let out a sharp, bitter laugh, the sound cutting through the room. nothing about this situation was funny. no, not in the slightest, but the irony of it all was suffocating.
he was unravelling, coming undone in front of you, it didn't matter what you said or did, it would never change a thing. he would never believe you.
so why should you bother? why waste the energy trying to convince someone who had obviously already made up their mind?
"are you seriously laughing right now?" his voice cuts in, but it only fuels the fire in you. you laugh harder, not because it’s funny, but because it’s your only defence left. you turn away from him, your hands shaking as you toss your clothes into the open suitcase.
he's yelling, you know he’s talking to you, demanding explanations, apologies, something. but you can’t hear him anymore. all you can do is focus on getting out. your chest feels tight, a knot of frustration and hurt you can’t untangle, your vision blurs as tears gather, hot and heavy, threatening to spill.
you pack faster, harsher, almost as if you are trying to shove the pain into the bag along with your things. your breaths come in shallow gasps, the weight of everything pressing down on your shoulders. and then, suddenly, you’re done. you slam the suitcase shut with a finality that echoes in the silence that follows his outburst.
when you turn to face him one last time, the anger drains from his expression the moment he sees the tears streaming down your face. his eyes widen, and for a second, he looks lost. like he didn’t expect to see the damage so clearly written across your features.
"are you happy now?" your voice trembles, but you force the words out, biting down on the sob that’s lodged in your throat. you wipe the tears away with the back of your hand, your movements rough, angry. "is this what you wanted?"
your heart is breaking, and you know he can see it.
his mouth opens, but no words come out, just the faintest trace of regret in his eyes. it doesn’t matter now. your chest is heaving, fury and heartbreak fighting for control as you step closer, your voice rising in pitch.
"is this what you wanted?" you shout again, louder this time, almost daring him to answer. "for me to break? for me to stand here crying while you keep accusing me of things i never did? what more do you want from me?"
your voice cracks, but you don't care anymore. everything comes spilling out in a rush you can’t stop. "i gave you everything! i tried to explain, over and over, but you never listened! you never trusted me!" your hands ball into fists, trembling at your sides. "do you even hear yourself? you’re acting crazy, like none of this is enough for you!"
“...like i'm not enough for you.”
his face is pale now, the guilt flickering behind his eyes, but it does nothing to soften the rage burning through you. "no matter what i say, it’s never enough! you twist it, you twist everything, and now look at us. just look!" your voice is raw, filled with months of swallowed pain. "you’ve already made me out to be the villain, so what’s the point in fighting you anymore?"
you wipe at your face again, hating how vulnerable you feel, how exposed you are under his stare. "i can’t keep doing this," you hiss, your voice shaking with the weight of finality. "i won’t keep doing this."
he steps forward, reaching for you, but you snap, your hand flying up between you. “don’t. just– don’t. don’t pretend like you care now. not after everything.”
the silence that follows is heavy, and you realise, in this moment, that it's truly over. there's nothing left to salvage.
you stare at him for a long moment, chest rising and falling with every ragged breath, waiting, hoping, for something, anything to come from him. but the realisation hits you hard: he isn’t going to say anything. not the words you need, not the apology you deserve. his silence speaks louder than anything he could offer.
you grab the handle of your suitcase, the weight of it mirroring the heaviness in your heart. you turn away, forcing your feet to move, hurrying down the stairs as the lump in your throat tightens.
your friends stand by, their faces etched with concern, but you can only manage a rushed, broken explanation. they’ve already heard everything through the thin walls anyway. they know. they don’t need your words to understand.
the cold air bites as you step outside, the bitter wind matching the ache deep inside. you barely hear the door slam behind you, but it echoes in your mind, final and absolute. it’s over.
inside, the others exchange glances, disappointment hanging heavy in the room as they turn their eyes to josh. he stands there, shoulders hunched, staring at the floor. he knows he’s in the wrong. he knows he’s lost you.
and in that crushing silence, the truth weighs on him, he never deserved you. not now, not ever.
that brings you back to now.
here as you stand on the doorstep, staring at the place you least wanted to be, but knowing you’d go through with it. if not for yourself, then for the others that you love most on the other side of the door.
the weight of that thought lingers in the cold air, one of the things actually pushing you forward when every instinct begs you to turn back. you take one final deep breath, bracing yourself as you push the door open.
the warmth from the fireplace wraps around you, a stark contrast to the bitter chill outside. the sound of sam and chris's lively chatter drifts from the living room, a reminder of why you’re here, even when every step feels heavier than the last.
you bring your belongings in, pausing to knock the snow from your boots. as you slide your jacket onto the coat rack, the weight of everything you’ve been carrying, both physical and emotional, settles uncomfortably in your stomach. but you don’t hesitate. not now.
you follow the lively chatter, your feet carrying you instinctively toward the living room. as you step inside, sam’s delighted squeal is the first thing you hear before she runs straight at you, wrapping you in a tight hug.
the others quickly follow, and soon you're caught in the middle of a warm, giggling group embrace. their laughter mingles with yours, and it strikes you, just how much you've missed this, missed them.
as everyone pulls back, the room comes alive with overlapping conversations. you’re grinning, swept up in the energy, exchanging words and catching up like no time has passed. but when your eyes drift toward the kitchen, something pulls your focus. you pause mid sentence, doing a double take.
josh.
he’s standing there, leaning casually against a wooden beam, arms crossed lightly across his chest. he looks good. better than the last time you saw him, more at ease. his face carries a softness, a quiet confidence, and when your eyes meet, a slow, easy smile spreads across his lips, as though he’s been waiting for this moment too.
for a heartbeat, everything else seems to blur, the noise and the chaos around you fading, leaving only him, standing there in that familiar but somehow a new way.
there were quite a few times like that. you could’ve been doing face masks with jess or playing card games with mike but there were these small moments where you’d find yourself looking for him. you know you shouldn’t but you couldn't help yourself.
before you even got to the cabin you were planning to be civil to not make it awkward but you definitely weren't expecting to be acting like a shy school girl every time he caught your eye.
you ended things on terrible terms, you know that but…you just couldn’t help yourself.
it didn’t help that, throughout the week, during your time with the girls, they couldn’t stop bringing him up. every chance they got, they’d reminisce about how cute the two of you used to be together, playfully wondering what went wrong, as if it had just been a small bump in the road.
their teasing wasn't malicious, but it hit a sore spot every time. almost casually, they’d slip in updates about him, how much he had changed, how he was looking after himself now.
they’d talk about how therapy seemed to have worked wonders for him, that he’d been consistent with it, really putting in the effort to deal with his issues. not to mention he’d started working out regularly, getting stronger, more disciplined. according to them, it wasn’t just about looking better; it was that he seemed lighter somehow, more in control, more centered.
they kept hinting that it was like he was almost a completely different person these days.
you wouldn’t know firsthand, though. you hadn’t been in touch with him for a while. in fact, you’d been ignoring his messages for months now. at first, he tried with persistent texts, checking in, apologising, sometimes just saying he missed you.
but slowly, the messages trickled down to nothing, just like you’d wanted. if everything they said was true. if he was really doing all this work on himself, it made sense why he’d stopped reaching out. he was trying to move forward, leaving behind the parts of himself that had held him back. just like you had been trying to do too.
now you’re back here after nearly a year you weren’t so sure, it felt like you were back to square one.

you’d been tossing and turning for what felt like hours, nothing was different about tonight. no big plans for tomorrow, nothing particularly exciting on your mind. so why couldn’t you just fall asleep? frustration built up as you huffed, slamming your hands down on the duvet, staring blankly at the dark ceiling, feeling the weight of the restless night pressing in.
with a defeated sigh, you realised there was no way sleep was coming like this. maybe a glass of water would help? anything to break the cycle of rolling around. you slip on your slippers, grab your phone, and decide to head downstairs, hoping the change of scenery might calm your racing thoughts.
you turn on the flashlight on your phone, keeping it dim as you make your way down the creaky stairs. the old wooden floorboards groaned beneath your feet, but oddly enough, the familiar sound felt comforting, grounding you in the stillness of the house.
just as you reached the bottom step, completely absorbed in your thoughts, something moved in the shadows. you jump, your heart leaping into your throat. in the dim light of your phone’s torch, you make out the figure of someone standing in the kitchen.
"god, josh!" you gasp, clutching your chest as you try to steady your breathing.
he lets out a soft chuckle, clearly amused. "sorry, didn’t mean to scare you," he says, leaning casually against the counter, his silhouette relaxed in the faint light. "couldn’t sleep either?"
you swallow, still recovering from the shock, your pulse slowly calming down. "yeah… something like that."
josh’s chuckle fades into a soft, knowing smile as he watches you try to compose yourself. the darkness in the kitchen only adds to the feeling of running into him like this. you hadn’t seen much of him all evening, and now, here he was, standing in the dim light of your phone’s torch.
"join the club," he says with a shrug, his voice low in the stillness of the house. "i’ve been up for a while too. figured i’d come down here to clear my head."
you nod, the tension slowly easing as the shock fades. you move past him toward the sink, setting your phone down so you can grab a glass.
josh watches quietly as you fill the glass, the sound of water filling the silence between you.
"i didn’t mean to scare you," he repeats softly, a little more serious this time. there’s something in his voice that makes you glance over at him. he’s still leaning against the counter, arms folded, but his expression is softer now, thoughtful.
it’s strange how natural it feels, standing here in the dim kitchen, just the two of you, like all the time and distance that had built up between you had shrunk in an instant.
"it’s fine," you manage, setting the glass down. "i guess i just wasn’t expecting to see anyone awake."
josh pushes off the counter and steps closer, his posture casual but his eyes focused on you. "i wasn’t expecting to run into you either," he admits with a half smile. "but… maybe it’s good that we did."
there’s a pause, a moment where neither of you speaks, it only takes a second for the silence between you to feel loaded with everything unsaid.
he takes a breath and rubs the back of his neck, his usual confident demeanour a little shaken. "look, i know this might be a weird time for this, but… i’ve been wanting to talk to you. really talk. it’s just… things have been different, and i–"
you feel your chest tighten, unsure if you’re ready for whatever he’s about to say. but the vulnerability in his voice pulls at you, making some part of you want to hear him out.
he lets out a quiet sigh, his gaze dropping to the floor as if searching for the right words. then, he looks back up, locking eyes with you, his expression more serious now. "i’ve been trying to figure things out, you know?" he says softly. "and… i guess i just want to know where you’re at with all of this. with us."
his question lingers in the dim kitchen air. you open your mouth, but no words come. a swirl of emotions rush through you. uncertainty, hesitation, something deeper you haven’t let yourself fully acknowledge.
in your silence, josh shifts his weight, his hands dropping to his sides as he lets out another sigh, this one laced with even more vulnerability. "i’d never want to make you feel uncomfortable," he adds, his voice quieter, like he’s treading carefully on uncertain ground.
"especially not because of me…" he trails off, and you can see it in his eyes, the memory of the last time you were this close to him, this close for this long. it had ended in misunderstanding, in a distance that neither of you knew how to bridge.
his words bring that night rushing back, how things had spiralled out of control, how the trust between you had cracked, leaving both of you retreating into your own spaces. but standing here now, in the middle of the night, it feels different. he feels different.
josh runs a hand through his hair, clearly frustrated with himself, but still pressing forward. "i know i messed up before. i didn’t see things clearly… didn’t handle things right. and i get that i have no right to expect anything from you now. but…" he pauses, searching your face for any sign of how you're feeling, his voice growing softer.
"i’ve changed, or at least, i’m trying. therapy, working on myself, it’s not just for me. it’s for everyone i’ve hurt. especially you."
his words hang there, raw and honest, and it strikes something deep in you. it’s not that you haven’t heard about his progress, but hearing it directly from him, here in the quiet, feels different. there’s a weight to it, making your heart ache a little.
you nod, absorbing his words. "why?"
"why did you doubt me so much in the end? all i ever did was love you. completely, unconditionally."
regret flashes across his face. he knows, deep down, how badly he wronged you. how deeply he let you down.
“the crazy part,” he begins, his voice tight, “is that i was always so scared of losing you." he pauses, trying to find the right words. "it wasn’t anything you did. i think… i think i knew you were too good for me.”
his hand grips the edge of the counter, knuckles white. “not in some ‘woe is me’ kind of way, but i saw it. i saw how selfless you were with everyone, with me. how you always showed up, always gave more than i deserved.” he lets out a shaky breath, as if even admitting this feels wrong. “and now, saying it out loud, it sounds ridiculous. but god, i was so worried that i was gonna lose you.”
his voice breaks, his eyes glisten in the dim light. “i can’t even begin to say how sorry i am. you. of all people, didn’t deserve that. you were too kind, too pure, and i..." his sentence fades, swallowed by the weight of emotions he could barely hold back.
the light from your phone casts shadows on his face, illuminating the tears that fill his eyes. he swallows hard, trying to keep it together. "i can’t undo what i said or how i treated you. i can’t go back and fix it. but… those quiet moments, the ones where it was just us, they meant more to me than you’ll ever know."
you couldn’t take it anymore. you crossed the space between you, wrapping him up tightly in your arms as he broke down, his tears spilling onto your shoulder. and for the first time, he lets himself fall apart completely in your embrace.
tears welled in your own eyes as you held him, feeling the weight of his regret. you could see how hard he was trying. not just to repair what was broken, but to salvage even the smallest piece of what you once had. the bond that started in the innocence of childhood now felt fragile, yet unshakable.
“i can forgive,” you whispered, your voice trembling with emotion, “but i’ll never be able to forget.” you tightened your hold on him, as if the closeness could somehow bridge the gap between you.
he nodded against you, his breath uneven, his body sinking fully into yours. his arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer, as if afraid to let go. there was a quiet understanding between you now, an unspoken truth that even though so much had changed,
the love, complicated and scarred. still lingered between you both.
