broke my cousin's delusion on what a decent paying graphic design/product development design entry-mid level job looks like day to day by having her come over yesterday while i was working

successfully before she applies to colleges, yippee!! (i don't want her wasting a year like i did in architecture program)

#personal #hahah the thing is that working just sucks in general and my job is BORIIIIING BORING BORING #(i have cheap health care... 5 weeks pto.... and 2 weeks paid company vacation days and hybrid 2 days/wk remote.. i accept it lol #and i already make more than average for a graphic designer w/ 2.5 years freelance and under 3 years in agency so lol boredom has $)#and i didn't have her come over on a meeting day obviously #but im only paid decently cuz of meeting days and me being able to automate work away #i want my terminus role in my career to be creative development/creative direction #(which..... i already do some coordination between our artistic team and brand development team and factories in my role so im going the #right way.... and also my direct supervisor jokes about how im his right hand man with talking to IT about automation stuff (i joke that #i'm the dept ''pet nerd''))#so i've been looking at arts/retail/design management mbas and specified marketing ms degrees to push forward faster #but like.... that'll be boring too lol and i'll just have more spreadsheets and cross dept coordination rofl?#like working SUCKS in general and ppl glamorize design jobs in such odd ways #and all jobs are either evil... or boring and i'm gonna take boring over overwork any day :)
