If you play the video around that generation of Furbys they will react to it (according to comments it will sing and then act like it's eating, which iirc one of the functions of the app was you could "feed" your Furby.) The sound is how it can communicate between other Furbys and the app wirelessly, which is a pretty clever concept if it weren't for the fact that, if I'm not mistaken, many other toys use this method and don't give me a headache, so idk what went wrong here.

for the longest time, people passed around rumors that he’d long since been demolished, sitting at the bottom of his lake as nothing more than a metal skeleton attached to a set of tracks

but this dude bought a 1.5k underwater drone, prodded around for a while, and actually FOUND Moby. mostly intact!! i just wish we could see him in his full glory. one can only hope this’ll encourage some animatronic conservationists to make their way over to Massachusetts for an eventual retrieval (if not, broader photographs)

MAKE OVER DONE (sorta) I didn't know what color I wanted to paint the face plate so it's white for now. I normally paint a white base coat on face plates anyway so it had to be done. Mikey is blind in their right eye, so I painted his eyelid to look like burnt skin. There's different layers to it since healed burns don't all have one single base color. It's lighter in some places and darker in others.

Oh yeah his tongue is green. No reason just saw green paint and went with it. Originally I was going to go with brown but these things happen rip.

Thank you for asking this! It’s a really interesting question that I hadn’t thought about before.

I would prefer that people not use the art pieces that I’ve commissioned for merch (the tarot card pieces, the classic strange painting, the giiirlgruel heavy metal design, etc) out of respect for the artists.

However, you can go crazy with the dumb little phrases I put on things. If you want to make your own DIY shirt that says “ebony darkness dementia raven way saved my worthless life” or “I am absolutely filled with porridge” I think that’s delightful and I not only condone, but encourage it.
