wait. one final addition. 5k XP in 2 hours is only easily achievable if you have premium. otherwise I think it is actually nigh impossible
#unless you hoard gems?#i understand why duolingo rewards premium users but tbh i feel pretty scummy grinding the legendary tiers#on an xp boost it's an insane amt of experience. i only found out today you have to pay gems to access the tiers as a regular person#and ofc it's easier to grind for experience when you can mindlessly have at the lessons instead of having to be cautious abt not losing#lives.. iirc the timed challenges also cost gems.. :( i feel like duolingo has to be a full-time job if you want to rank high in the later#leagues as a free user and idk that makes me sad 😢#sriracha.txt
