mi vida
synopsis: sae never thought someone could become his life, but that changed when you came.
pairing: itoshi sae x gn!reader | words: 749 | warnings: established relationship, fluff
notes: welcome back to "things i wrote on a whim when my boss wasn't at the office"!! apparently i write a lot better in english without much planning, so yeah. this idea came to me based on a personal experience, since i call my boyfriend "minha vida" (which is the same for "mi vida"/"my life" in portuguese) and i never really thought i could consider someone to be my life before him.
i really really hope you like it, and i wanna thank you all so much for all the love you've given to Unworthy (but chosen), every note and follower made me super happy! <3
and also, i'm so sorry if my description of the spanish culture is not accurate and for any english mistakes!
during his time in spain, sae learned a lot of things. mainly, how to improve his soccer career even more, striving to become the best in the world after already being the best in his country.Â
he was a genius, of course, so it wasnât really hard to learn the language or get acquainted with the city of madrid, which was a lot warmer than japan â in many ways. however, it was really fucking hard to get used to the customs of the spanish people and its culture, considering it was so different from the japanese. they were extremely welcome, and sae was anything but. if anything, he was even more closed than typical japanese people.Â
in spain, people were always greeting each other with a kiss on each cheek, showing off bright smiles and making conversation with strangers. friends talked loudly among each other, giving hugs and always touching somehow. the concept of personal space? totally nonexistent. in short, it was weird.Â
but nothing was weirder than couples.Â
the concept of love was already foreign to sae. he didnât understand how a feeling could envelop one so much and make it forget about the rest of the world. he didnât know how such an abstract thing, with no sense of logic whatsoever, could be so overwhelming to the point of taking oneâs life completely, until all you could see, think and feel was your significant other.
most of all, he couldnât fathom how someone could become your life.Â
âte amo, mi vida,â was what he used to hear an old couple say to each other. they were the owners of saeâs favorite restaurant, a small little place in the suburbs of Madrid, and always treated him with a kindness he didnât deemed himself worthy of.Â
at first, he wasnât able to comprehend what the sentence meant. he could barely write it on google translate to try to get its meaning, and he didnât really care enough. though, as the time went by and sae became more fond of the couple, he eventually gathered the courage to ask the woman about it. and he was very surprised to hear the answer.Â
âit means âi love you, my lifeâ,â she said, smiling from ear to ear and handing a glass of salted kombucha tea to sae. it was one of the reasons he adored the place so much â it was the only restaurant he found that served his favorite drink.Â
the older itoshi could only stare, dumbfounded, and mumble, ââŠwhy?â
the woman laughed at the boyâs naivetĂ©. âwhy, you ask? because thatâs what he is to me.âÂ
sae only stared in silence, too stunned to speak.
âi⊠i donât understand,â he confessed. it sounded silly, and kind of pathetic, but at that moment he didnât really care. the woman gave another smile, this time an understanding countenance, and placed her wrinkly hand on his shoulder.Â
âyou will understand one day, boy. and when your person comes, make sure to bring them here, right? iâd like to meet them!âÂ
the soccer player wanted to tell her that it would never happen. that the itoshi sae had no time for foolish things like love, and he most certainly would never love someone so much to the point of seeing them as his life. his life was soccer, and his goal was to become the best in the world.Â
there was nothing else.Â
oh, how he bit his tongue.Â
it was at the age of twenty two when he entered the restaurant once again, and this time, not alone. you were walking by his side, with your hand intertwined in his, chatting excitedly while he just listened. a small smile was on his face, and his features were impossibly soft, in a way they only got around you.Â
you, who were light in the darkness, who were comfort after a long day of practice, who was the one he loved most. you, who was the definition of home in every sense of the word. the only one that could make his heart swell so much it made it hard to breathe.Â
he pulled your chair for you to sit like a true gentleman, and sat right next to you, always in need to touch you somehow. a hand was placed on your thigh while the other one opened the menu. and he turned to you, voice gentle like you could break:
âso, what would you like, mi vida?â
you, who was his life.

I had read a fic of yours where Batson was Australian, I don't know if you have other requests like this but if you accept, make one with Batson being Brazilian and he likes football, carnival and who likes to listen and dance to music by the great diva Anitta
Okay, that's cool. I never really knew a lot about Brazil, but I love learning more about it. Bruce is really mister worldwide lol.
Summary: (Y/N) is Brazilian.
Warnings: none
According to Jason, Bruce has become mister Worldwide. Why, I might hear you asking? He, as a playboy, sleeps with a lot of women. One of those women was a Brazilian model and the two had a son together. Bruce took a DNA first because he didn't want to take any type of chances.
It wouldn't be a first time that a woman tried to claim that a kid was his, but wasn't. Turns out, DNA came back telling him that (Y/N) was his son. Thankfully, the woman was very understanding and Bruce sent her money every month and he would visit when he could.
Unfortunately, (Y/N)'s mom passed away when he was a teen and he came to live in the USA with his father and half brothers. It was a little bit weird at first, a new city, a father who is a vigilante, his brothers too, a butler who is their handler so to speak...
Either way, it was weird, but he was happy to be here with his family. That was something that he thought that Americans were lacking sometimes. That feeling of tight nit love and family. His family, including grandmas, grandpas, aunts and much more lived within a walking distance from him.
Okay, that may sound like Americans don't share that same sentiment about family, but (Y/N) didn't really see it. It may that in Brazil that is just amplified by 10 or it could be something else of course. However, his family is tight knit and very loving.
(Y/N) didn't think that he would have that here in America, but hey, he can't really complain can he.
However, there is a single thing he will fight until the day he dies. His fellow Brazilian men and women, his brothers and sisters would agree. Soccer is not football. Football is football, you play with your feet. That's why is so popular.
And that's why Europeans and Latinos went nuts for it. Honestly, (Y/N) watches every game with Brazil's national team, even if Bruce had to pay more for the program. He has the money. He can't let his son suffer, can he?
Also, American Football should be named American Soccer, because the ball is never on the ground. (Y/N) will die by that statement and he will fight everyone he needs to fight with to prove it.
Until his last breath and last drop of blood.
One thing he loves more than anything, alongside the football of course, is the famous Rio de Janeiro carnival. He made Bruce and the rest of the family go every single year with him. Thankfully, he still has his Brazilian passport with him.
And the family has a translator for when they go, because not a lot of people speak English, only in bigger cities and popular tourist sites. It's fun to see (Y/N) speak his native language with so much passion and everyone has decided to learn it to talk to (Y/N).
(Y/N) was proud and nothing but supportive, even though at times they were butchering the language, but it's always the thought that matters. And Portuguese is an easier language to pick up. (Y/N) even had some rewards for them.
Every time they could hold a some what correct conversation when it comes to grammar and vocabulary, they would get a dish from the Brazilian cuisine. It's the famous Feijoada and it's just (Y/N)'s favorite. Everyone loved when (Y/N) made it and it was with his grandma's recipe.
That's what motivated them to learn, because even Damian swore by that dish and he loved it the most. Bruce and the rest loved it, it was different then the rest of the American cuisine. Of course, (Y/N) introduced them to another dishes, but everyone loved the Feijoada.
(Y/N) knew it.
One thing he loves is listening to Anitta. He loves her music and they would often find him dancing while he was cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and other times. It made him happy and Bruce found (Y/N) humming the melody and the lyrics every day.
Everyone soon knew the lyrics to the songs and the melody. And besides, they are all learning Portuguese and it was fun to learn it that way. Dick found her songs great and listened to it during his workouts and Dick loved it.
And one thing that Bruce was proud of was the fact that (Y/N) didn't decided to assimilate. He still has his values and he wasn't afraid to say that he is Brazilian. If he has an interview he is often found correcting people and he is not afraid to say it.
Due to the fact that he is not afraid to say he is from Brazil, people of Brazil have claimed him and whenever he comes, they just shower him with love. He is extremely popular and Bruce knows he shouldn't worry about it, but still.
Bruce worries about his children all of the time, especially when they are in another country, especially on vacation. (Y/N) often told him not to worry and did Bruce listen?
No.
One thing more thing that made Bruce love Brazil more than anything in this world is the fact that they take their hygiene more than some Americans do. (Y/N) said to everyone that during the summer he would take 3 showers per day sometimes.
Damian found that interesting. Brazil is a humid and hot country, considering that it's a tropical country and the heat is often unforgiving.
(Y/N) said that the shower made him slow down and think about relaxing. He often clears his head and feels less stress afterwards. He has explained the shower routine, but still, the family they don't really understand it, but hey, as long (Y/N) is happy.
And one thing that Brazilians love doing that Bruce found nice was the way that they are affectionate. Kisses, hugs and touching. Of course, with consent. (Y/N) understood that not really liked it, but his family loved it.
Damian would often get picked randomly and hugged from behind. Damian would often grumble about it, but he loved it. Bruce loved the hugs and the rest loved the hugs too.
Bruce was just happy that one of them was normal emotionally. (Y/N) was trained in martial arts to protect himself, like everyone, but decided to not be a vigilante. He just couldn't be and Bruce respected it.
(Y/N) was their safety net and nobody would have it any other way.

Is it cool that I said all that? (AB1)
Alisson Becker x f!reader
Author's note: I find it a massive offence that no one has written any fan fiction about this man. He is the finest GK in the PL and deserves some love. Also he is my new obsession even though I only like Kostas Tsimikas from Liverpool (greek scouser core). Shoutout to @joochilwell for being so kind and sharing Alison with me, I love you girl. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy!
Summary: You are friends with Kostas and after Liverpool's insane win against Manchester City, the team goes to the club to celebrate the win. Alisson has set his eyes on you and is about to mess things up just for a night with you.
Warnings: minors dni, 18+, angst, jealousy, bit of soft Alisson, bad Portuguese translation (sorry to anyone who may be offended, my native is Greek and English)
"I swear to god I will not be caring you back to your house, Robbo is caring you. I have work tomorrow." I warn Kostas with a sneaky smile, knowing he will end up drunk, singing out loud, with Klopp calling me in the morning asking me his whereabouts.
"Oh please, I will be just fine. Also don't count too much on Robertson. Mo maybe a better option." Kostas pointed out, erasing another potential helper of mine.
"Mo won't be coming. Said he was tired. I will find someone to help me take care of you. I don't worry about that." I was looking through my contacts trying to find the perfect teammate. It was at this moment that he appeared in front of me.
"Mate, you will be perfect for the job." Kostas shouts in my ear, as I raise my head and look at Alison's blue stunning eyes that were instantly locked with mine. I share a soft smile with Alisson, before he looks back at Kostas with a weirded out expression.
"What job? What did you do?" He is almost growling at his greek teammate before I save his ass once more.
"I may be in need of a helping hand in case Kostas gets badly drunk. Last time I almost broke my arm trying to carry him back to his house." Alisson's eyes land back on mine and worry with what I was faced the last time alcohol was involved.
âDon ruin her night mate. Letâs all enjoy this win. But sure, I will help you in case anything happens.â He replies to my request and i instantly relaxed at the thought of Alisson being the one that would help me.
âI owe you! Thank you so much! See you at the club in a few hoursâ I waved goodbye to Alison and made my way with Kostas to my car so I could drive him back to his house. Alisson didnât seem like himself so much. He seemed tired but now because of the game. More mentally exhausted.
As Kostas is about to get off my car, he unbuckles his seatbelt and turns towards me to face me. He has a guilty look in his eyes and I instantly can tell he is hiding something.
"Spit it out, right now. What is it?" I would rather know what he is about to do, instead of be surprised at night.
"Would it kill you to dance with Alisson today? Can you keep him company? I promise I won't get drunk." He didn't want to confess this in the first place but he was so pressed on telling me so.
Why would he ask me to keep Alisosn company? We are friends and of course I would be with him at the club tonight. Why does that mean?
"Is there a hidden meaning behind all this Tsimi? Cause if there is, I have to know. There's a reason why you're confessing this to me." Is Alisosn okay? Has someone done something to him. Should I call him and tell him to come over. This sounds serious.
"He will tell you for himself. I can't ruin the magic. See you tonight." Okay, what was this all about?
I finally arrive at my house and instantly throw myself on the couch, surrounded by the paperwork that needs to be done and multiple programs for the teams next games.
I can't get out of my head what Kostas said to me. He sounded so sketchy and mysterious. Should I be worried about Alisson? I couldn't resist and I decided to text him.
"Kostas was acting a little bit weird and told me to keep you company tonight at the club. Is something wrong?"
I shut my phone and kept on organising my scattered papers, wanting to get things in order but at the same time I couldn't get Alisson out of my head. I had to talk to him.
The notification sound from my phone startled me when it echoed from my room. I rushed to pick it up and my eyes widened when I saw that it was a reply from Alisson.
"I actually wanted to kind of talk to you privately. But I can't say what I want from the phone."
So my gut about something being off was right.
"Want to come by my house? It will be better than a coffee shop." I suggest wanting to make him feel more comfortable. I know that if he is seen with any girl that isn't known to the public eye will cause many talking points and that is certainly not something he wants right now.
"If you are okay with it then no problem. I will be there soon." All the players knew where I lived so if anything occurred with their schedules or wanted to resolve an issue, they could come to me.
In an extremely fast pace, I began cleaning the apartment so it didn't look like a paper bomb has erupted. I always like to keep the house clean but with guests around I wanted it to be spotless. I managed to finish tidying up before Alisson showed up. I threw on some more clean clothes after a quick shower and was waiting for him.
Speaking of the devil, the door bell rang a few moments after I was finally ready myself. I rushed to open the door and I was greeted by a shy smile from the Brazilian goalkeeper, along with a small bouquet of red roses that were peaking from behind his back.
"Come on in. You are just in time." I said in an extremely lower manner than the one I usually greet people. Before he could get past the door, he revealed the flowers and handed them to me, trying to hide his flushed cheeks from my eyesight. I had never seen Alisson so shy. He is for sure a gentleman and a wonderful man, although whenever I see him in practice, he is all tense and angry, cursing sometimes in Portuguese.
"These are for you. I asked Kostas what kind of flowers you like, in case you were allergic to any other type or weren't your favourite." He explain and my heart instantly goes soft. He is so thoughtful that I could have cried on the spot. I gave him a big hug after I closed the door behind him. I had to tip toe a little bit given he is a very tall man.
Alisson's arms wrapped around my waist were so firm, with a very familiar and yet so secure feeling. It was a very sweet gesture from him and for an unexpected reason, I didn't want him to let go of me.
"This is the sweetest thing ever. Thank you so much Alisson. I will put them in my bedroom so they will brighten the atmosphere. Don't be nervous, take it as your home! Would you like to drink anything?" I put the flowers in a vase and left it in the kitchen counter before moving them inside my room.
"No no, thank you. I just, really wanted to talk to you. I feel like if I don't say what I want, an opportunity will be gone and then I will regret it." Oh dear it sounds serious. For a moment I was scared that he wanted to talk to me about transferring and leaving Liverpool. We had grown close to each other and I would hate the feeling of him leaving the team after so many years.
"Oh okay. Well, I am all ears. Tell me what is going on because I am getting anxious." I replied and we both sat on my couch, Alisson was toying with his fingers, trying to find the words to say what he wants.
"So, um, for the last three years, ever since you joined the team, I have, uh, I have, well, oh" He is getting more and more nervous as he is getting to the point and I take his hands into mine, wanting to calm him down.
"Hey hey hey. It is okay. You can talk to me. Look at me Alisson, please. Don't be scared. I will not judge you."
"I well, I, gosto muito de ti" (I like you very much)
Okay well, that didn't go as planed. Unfortunately I couldn't understand Portuguese, so that made the matter even more complicated. I placed my hand on his cheek, caressing it calmly. Finally I got Alisson to look at me and his blue eyes revealed to me all that I needed to know.
"Are you saying what I think you are?"
"Yes. What I have been trying to say is and clearly not very successfully, is that I like you y/n. And a lot if I am being honest. It took me such a long time to admit it but I finally did so. I just wanted you to be aware and I will completely understand if you don't wanna-" I cut him off with a soft kiss on his cheek, that instantly gave him the courage to take me on his lap and allow me to continue.
"You are a one of a kind man Alisson. I am very happy you finally admitted your feelings to me, because with the way Kostas was trying to subtly tell me I was getting worried about you. At least now I know and I am over the moon." I wrapped once more my hands around his neck and gave him a very tight hug, whilst sliding my fingers in his curly black hair.
"I don't want to force you into anything. We can take things slow. You are very important to me." I finally got a glimpse of his beautifully bright smile and without any hesitation I smashed my lips onto his, trying to prove to him how much I would love to be with him.
His hands curled up on my waist whilst my legs were curled around his waist. His kisses were poured with passionate emotions and love. I could sense a smile underneath the kisses around my neck and the only thing that echoed in the house were my giggles.
"Tu farĂĄs de mim o homem mais feliz, se me deixares estar contigo." (You'll make me the happiest man if you let me be with you.)
"I may not understand what you are saying but, Ăs o homem mais espantoso." (You are the most amazing man)
I said that in the most silly Portuguese accent, but Alisson seemed to appreciate the effort very much.
"I think I need to learn a bit of Portuguese if I want to be able to understand you."
"I will teach you everything you need to know my love. No need to worry."
Alisson was explaining to me how he fell in love when he first saw me, how difficult it was at first to adapt to the English lifestyle and especially the Merseyside and how he was intimidated by Liverpool's rich history thinking he wouldn't be able to live up to Klopp's and the owners expectations.
Getting to know him even better than I already did, made me realise how special he is. All of his teammates speak so highly of him, whether its mates from Liverpool or the Brazilian national team. The quiet and sweet goalkeeper who was too scared to talk to me, proved to be a very smart, friendly and openhearted but most importantly passionate footballer with many dreams and ambitions.
"Oh god, it's already seven. Virgil told us to be at the club at ten. I should probably get going so I can let you get ready. Should I come by again and pick you up? Would you like that?" The fact that he suggested we arrive to the club together made my heart beat so fast and how I could I ever resist to the sweet way he suggested it?
"Of course. I would love that. So, see you soon?" I placed my hands on his chest and I earned a small peck on the lips from him, given that if it was a full blown kiss, we would have ended up on the couch once more.
"See you soon amĂłr" He gave me a final kiss before walking out of the door. At this moment I was the happiest woman in the entire Merseyside and I had no idea this was about to get even better.
I sped to my closet to pick up my outfit for the night. I panicked when I went through all the possible options and none of them seemed fitting enough for my liking. Plus, it wasn't even going to be an actual fancy night club. More like a local one that the team had booked and some fans could tag along.
I finally found hidden in the depth of my closet my white corset, which was not too revealing but at the same time it showed of my figure in the way I liked. I decided to pair it with a pair of black jeans that would match perfectly with my louboutins. I had a quick shower after finally finding what my outfit would be and then for the final step it was hair and makeup.
Simple but chic was tonights moto, so I was in favour of letting my beach curls loose and putting on some very light makeup. A hint of mascara, my favourite red lipstick and a puff of the best perfume I had. I took a a quick look at myself in the mirror when at the same moment the door bell rang for the second time today.
I opened the door in the most giddy and exciting way, being presented with a version of Alisson I wasn't really used to seeing. He was wearing a navy blue polo, matched with a pair of black trousers and sneakers like every footballer likes to wear at a night out. A few strands of hair were falling on his forehead which made his appearance even more attractive. Although, if I am being honest, nothing could top Alisson wearing the black Liverpool kit with the number 1 on the back.
"The most beautiful woman in all of Liverpool." He kept scanning me from head to toe with his mouth agape, flushed like never before and heavy breathing. I couldn't believe it that I would be escorted to the club by the team's main goalkeeper and the biggest sweetheart I had ever met.
"Says the most handsome goalkeeper in all the Premier League." I took my keys and phone before grasping onto his firm and strong bicep.
"Only the Prem? I would say the world if I were you." He winked playfully at me.
"Nah, there are a few keepers that are in close competition." I couldn't contain my laugh when I saw the offended expression on his face.
"I am willing to prove you otherwise." He whispered in my ear and his hot breath hit my neck, which sent shiver all over my spine. I kind of wished I got to see this side of Alisson as well, although I didnât expect it this soon. Not that I minded though.
âBehaveâ I cupped his jaw and landed a kiss before he opened the door of the club and instantly be greeted by some of his teammates.
Trent, Kostas, Andy and Dominik all surrounded him but without leaving me behind. I was welcomed by them like a part of the actual squad.
âGonna be the life of the party tonight?â Trent cheekily asks me, having been seen by him at some of my drunkest moments.
âNah. I need to play nice and take care of you lot. Maybe another time.â Thereâs a frown that quickly wipes away his smile of excitement, knowing that he could have found a shots partner.
âYou owe us next time. Getting away now but not for long.â Robertson raised his glass of whiskey and downed it in seconds.
âIâll tell you what. If you manage to score a hat trick against Crystal Palace, then I will buy you all the drink you will have at our next gathering.â
Andy almost chocked on his drink when he heard my dare.
âFucking hat trick? Well, it is Palace but jesus christ. You are so in. Deal.â And we shook each otherâs hands firmly.
Kostas and Andy left to go with Virgil and Alexis, whilst I was with Trent, Alisson and Dominik.
I had caught with the corner of my eye Dominik staring at me from time to time. I tend to catch me checking me out but I feel like the corset I am wearing is giving him what he wants so out of reflex I take Alissonâs hand into mine and squeeze it a bit.
He hasnât understood what is going on, until Dominik opened his mouth.
âLooking gorgeous today, y/n. As you always do.â He winks at me and I have a sensation of disgust churning inside my stomach. Iâm not the only woman in the club that he tends to flirt with. He even does this with the women of Liverpoolâs female team.
âThank you Dom.â I sharply reply trying to avoid all possible eye contact with him.
âYou know, itâs a pity a girl like you to be all alone. Need a partner maybe?â Alisson caught on to what Dominik said and without hesitation he answered very confidently:
âLooking at him right now mateâ showing off the way he was holding my hand.
Trent eyed me with a widened expression and mouthed me the phrase âWhen was this?â
I said to him that âItâs a long storyâ and would explain it to him another time.
âOh getting lucky big man, eh!â Dominikâs jokes werenât funny anymore when even Trent stopped laughing.
To my surprise and fortunate luck, Gakpo came up to us and wanted to talk to Dominik privately so that was also Trentâs cue to head to the rest of the field.
âIâm so sorry, I had no idea heâd say such things.â I say in a very apologetic manner, as if I was the one hitting on Dominik.
âYou donât have to be sorry about anything my love. He was acting like an asshole and got what he deserved. Although I couldâve said more.â Knowing that Alisson had other ways to defend me as well, made me know that in any instance, he would have my back, like I would have his.
âIf you donât feel comfortable then we can head out. Go somewhere more privately where we wonât have to face anyone.â I sneakily suggested
âActually yes. That would be great. I would love that.â Happy that he agrees with my plan, I go up to Kostas and alert him that both Alisson and I are leaving. Trent says that itâs also better we leave given that if Dominik continued to act like so, Alisson would have resorted to possible violence.
For the final time tonight, we got on Alisson's car, without knowing which destination to take. All that mattered was to leave the club and be somewhere without anyone disturbing us. Before I could suggest a place we could visit, Alisson immediately said:
"Want to go by my house?" I know he had good intentions and didn't suggest it in a sneaky way, despite how the night ended up evolving.
"Sure thing." I trusted him, I knew he wouldn't do anything to make me feel uncomfortable. And if I am being honest, I am thankful we decided to leave the bar.
The ride from the club until Alisson's house wasn't very long. Once he parked his car, we got off and opened me the door to his house like a gentleman. I was aware that footballers get paid very well money but that wasn't this much apparent with his house. It was very beautifully decorated and was very cozy, instead of a luxurious mansion.
He offered me a glass of wine as we sat opposite of each other on his couch. He seemed a little tense at first with what had happened with Dominik and it was understandable. I was as well, but we shouldn't let this feeling ruin our night.
"Can I ask you something?" He quietly asked me.
"Anything you want."
"Do you seriously think there's a more handsome goalkeeper than me? Or better? Not just in the league."
Was he seriously asking me that? I only said it as a joke. Of course every goalkeeper is unique in their own way but Alisson was special in my eyes. He was fierce and passionate every time he was on the pitch. No one was number one for me, besides him.
"Of course not. You are the most talented keeper the league has known in the last years, extremely impressive as well as massively hot." The comment in the end was the cherry on top of the cake.
"Not to mention your header against West Brom. Shook me to my core."
I leaned towards him, only to be grabbed fiercely and sat on his lap. Alisson's lips leaned closer to my lobe, only for him to seductively whisper:
"Need another goal tonight?"
Before I had the chance to reply, he lift me up and started kissing my neck, his beard leaving marks all over it, whilst his hands were dominantly sitting on the sides of my thighs, sliding upwards to my ass. My soft moans had started to sound more clear to his ears, which boosted him to continue and move us to his bedroom.
Before I decided to occupy my hands with his fluffy hair, I pulled off his shirt, whilst his grasp on me was still very strong. I was met with a body structured like a greek god's. Every slick touch of mine on his body was fascinating. Shaping his v-line and abs before taking his face into my hands and kissing him into oblivion.
It was only fair he undid my corset, which let loose my squeezed up breasts and revealed the upper naked part of my body. Alisson laid me carefully on his bed, before coming on top of me and feasting on my neck, whilst his hands were playing with my nipples. I could feel his hardened erection pushing against my jeans and my eyes rolled to the back of my head, getting a taste of what was about to come later.
"Ăs tĂŁo incrivelmente bonita" (You are so incredibly beautiful)
His raspy Brazilian voice earned him a louder and needier moan. All I wanted was him and for him to feast on me. This man deserved to be worshipped.
"I'm yours Alisson. Oh god don't stop."
"Glad you decided to associate me with god."
Little did I know that the reason he said this, was because once his tongue slipped against my wet womanhood I was sent into heaven. I was nothing but his to please and after a night with him, no one could ever compare nor I would allow anyone to touch me.
His piercing blue eyes were glued to mine, as I couldn't remove them from the way he was trying to leave his mark on me. Every kiss and lick on my wetness was a sign that this territory has his name on it.
"Mine and only mine" he growled soft before getting up and letting me waiting and all needy. In a few swift moves he had undone his belt and removed his jeans, which finally let free to my eyesight his tightened against his boxers length.
I gulped hardly as placed my fingers delicately inside his boxers and held my cock, which sprung outside and made me gasp as I was trying to get ahold of the fact that it was going to be the death of me.
"Gosta do que estĂĄ a ver?" (Like what you see?) a satisfied smile was plastered all over his face with the reaction of mine.
"I surely am. Oh lord."
He leaned forward, close to my core and rubbed his cock against it and even with a single touch, I was in desperate need of him. After Alisson teased the god out of me, I felt him entering me and in seconds I had folded, clenching tightly wanting to get used to his size.
"Fuck baby, you are so tight. So perfect." Alisson's moans were erupting sparks inside my stomach. His swift moves were as pleasurable as looking into his eyes and with each thrust, I knew I was ruined. Each push was a love confession. Each twist was a confirmation that we were made for each other.
Each moan of mine was a reassurance that I was his.
"I want to prove to you in all the ways I can that I will make you happy."

Harry Potterâs Brazilian Translation: The Good, the Bad, the Why
The Good
Hufflepuff was translated to Lufa-Lufa.Â
Original name wouldnât work/sound good in Portuguese because of how weâd pronounce the letter combinations
A+ silly nonsense name that works well with the language
Uses some of the sounds of the original name
Name changed for a solid, valid reason
10/10
Ravenclaw, became Corvinal
New name hearkens back to the original (corvo is the Portuguese word for raven)
Name changed for a solid, valid reason
10/10
Gryffindor was translated to Grifinória
Gryffindor is pronounceable in Portuguese and doesnât sound too weird, so change unnecessary imo, but at least the new name is fairly close to the original
7/10
Slytherin was translated as Sonserina
Original name doesnât quite work in Portuguese, but I think SliderĂne would have been better
Though perhaps they were trying to play with snakey S sounds, which I canât fault them for
8.5/10
Ron became Rony
Yes, it sounds funny in English, but it works well in Poruguese
Could have gone wih a nickname for Ronaldo insead hough.
9/10
Rubeus Hagrid changed to RĂșbeo Hagrid
Frankly, I would have thought âHagridâ needed more of a revamp than âRubeusâ (which could be fixed by turning it into RĂșbeus)
I wouldâve thought theyâd change Hagrid into RĂĄgrid to make his name sound right, but nope
That being said, RĂșbeo wasn't an awful choice
6/10
Hedwig became Edwiges
Original name doesnât work in Portuguese at all. Definitely a change that made sense, and into a name thatâs pretty close.
10/10
Dudley became Duda
Yeah, Dudley wouldnât quite work in Portuguese.
10/10
Dementors turned into Dementadores
Sounds better in Portuguese.
10/10
The Bad
Muggles became Trouxas
Way too negative for no reason. (Trouxa is a really rude way of saying âgullibleâ or âstupidâ)
1/10
The Why
James became Thiago
Whyyyy?! Weâre familiar with the name James because of James and the Giant Peach! James is pronounceable in Portuguese! And if you want to use a Portuguese form of James, Jaime sounds a lot closer han Thiago!
Albus became Alvo
Why?! Albus is a Latin word! It works perfectly fine in Portuguese!

@sm-writes-chaos tagged me in a Last Line thingie and I thought I'd join in!
Pls know that I translated this directly from portuguese, the language I write in, so it may sound a bit weird sometimes.
This is from my main WIP, "Black & White". I've made a very tiny post about it before, but it will in no way help you understand this passage.
Pls enjoy:
---
"How are things at the opera?" he inquired. "You seemed very excited in your last letter."
"They're fine," Lucille replied. She tore her eyes from the fleeting landscape and they met his. There was some joy in her expression, but not fully. The smile didn't reach her eyes. "We've just started doing Madama Butterfly."
"It's one of those recent ones, isn't it?"
"Yes. Puccini. I play Cio-Cio-San, the main character."
"Congratulations!"
"How about you? How are things going?"
"Also good."
A pause. Diedrich seemed reluctant to speak again.
"What day is it supposed to be?"
"You said you'd return on Sunday. That's the seventeenth. The fourteenth is a Thursday."
"Alright."
Another beat of silence. This time, the pausa was longer. Lucille looked down at her hands, poised atop her lap. The air became suddenly heavy in that absense of conversation.
"I have your mourning clothes ready ay home, if you want them," she finally announced.
"Thanks."
"Is your sister coming?"
"She said she has things to take care of with Johann. Besides, she thought if would be best if we were alone."
"Maybe she's right..."
"I know you don't like being alone during this time. Neither do I."
She sighed, denoting exhaustion that reached all the way into her soul.
"You know, I've been... feeling things."
"Feeling things?"
"Yes. I don't want you to think that I'm crazy, but it's like I've been feeling a sort of presence. Sometimes, the house feel colder and the air seems heavier. It's like a ghost."
"A ghost?"
"I told you not to think I'm crazy. And yes. His ghost."
"Alphonse's ghost?"
She looked at him. Inbetween the sadness in her eyes, there were traces of fear.
"Yes. I'm sorry." She shook her head, as if she could shake away her thoughts with a single movement. "It must be the nerves. It's nothing. Ghosts aren't real."
"He loved flowers. On the Days of the Roses, during summer, we'd hand out flowers together" he said in a whisper, like he was voicing his own thoughts. "I wonder if he'd like how his grave fills with little white flowers this time of year."
"That's a morbid thought... Will you take some this year?"
"Yes. It's the closest I'll ever get to travelling with him again."
The magician turned his gaze to the window, losing himself in the blurry shapes outside.
"I miss him..." Lucille's tone sounded somewhat desperate.
"Me too."
"I still want a piece of my baby boy with me. Even if it can never be more than little white flowers again."
---
Sorry it ended up so long. I got really into it!
Translating my own language was so weird!! Also, this was quite possibly one of the worst possible excerpts to use as an introduction to this WIP.
To continue the Last Line thingie I'd like to tag @snehithiye and @inflarescent
#writing#no bc the characters feel so different in english#and the general voice is just kinda off but not bad#it's genuinely so confusing#but it was a fun experience#writerblr#my wips#translating yourseld is STRANGE#black & wip

This is the Buddy for September 20th. It's a trace. Or, well, it's not even a trace - it's a recolored piece of art I saw when Firefox updated. I just copied the drawing on inkscape and changed the colors.
This is the original:
Man, I remember when I was just starting to figure Inkscape out. I thought it was so much fun, manipulating vectors, changing colors and applying filters. I actually wanted to use to draw a proper comic. Sounds naĂŻve, looking back. I moved on to FireAlpaca eventually - at first, I'd draw on FireAlpaca and convert the image to a vector on Inkscape, which made it easier to manipulate. But after a recent update, it became much harder to change colors on Inkscape. I don't know why they changed it, but it broke my workflow so bad, I avoid using the software if I can help it now.
I don't know if there's a way to fix the change that I dislike so much, but, even if there is, it's a bit too late, I've moved on to different applications now.
Changing subjects, it's interesting how there seems to be some sort of collective unconsciousness that dictates what's popular nowadays - I'm a big Osamu Tezuka fan, and I make sure to read his manga whenever I found out a new one has been published, be it in English, Portuguese or Spanish. I don't know anyone else who likes him, and even in online reviews they don't seem to be too popular among the younger manga-loving crown who prefers more recent fare.
And yet, there seems to be a lot of Tezuka manga being translated nowadays! I guess there's more people who like it out there than I realize. And not only that, there's a new Phoenix anime out on Disney+, and an anime adaptation of the Astro Boy-inspired Pluto Manga coming soon to Netflix. It's weird that I've lived on this sort of Tezuka bubble for a while, and now there's a lot more variety than I thought I'd ever see.

sometimes when im talking to someone in a language that ive just started learning/aren't very fluent at yet. lets say its my L6 and its Portuguese (a nod to my qsmp friends) and someone says a word ( like obrigado) thats sounds like its similar enough to another language L4 (like arigato in Japanese). it momentarily makes my next words become that language L4 but i know my response is supposed to be in L6 so instead my words just die. same thing happens when im talking in other languages like my L2 is Hindi but sometimes my pronunciations bring my L1 bangla accents (u can tell the difference. its awkward dealing w/ the àŠ
and à€
difference of hindi and bangla) and i ultimately freeze up.
but i dont think people 'switch' like that in the middle of a conversation at worst they will pause and then test out the next few words before continuing again.
also certain stressful situations when speaking to i L2 (english) friends IN L2 isnt enough and i have to switch to L1(3,4,5,6) to spit out a few words before tuning back in.
also (i don't know how much it is prevalent in other languages) but my L1 (bangla) has specific dialects with specific words tht don't make sense in other dialects. there is also a 'proper' dialect every child is taught to speak. but i found out the hard way that you sometimes just switch.
ok, story time: average discord call w/ friends. I don't talk that much but when i do its in a perfect ameriacn accent (w/ british words thrown in btw!!!!! english is so weird) that i copied from movies. most a few of the others in the call are also bilingual who have english as their second language but are still fluent in it nonetheless.
new person joined. never really spoke to this person audibly before but have chatted with him. I'm doing origami and he's apparently playing. i have another bangla speaking friend that i know irl in the same call.
i guess he dies or smth cuz i hear a Ꮀᎎᎏá”â»á”á”Êłá¶Šá”á” from him and i snap my head and go "YOOO? BHAI??? TUI KEDA RE ETO CHENA CHENA LAGTASE???????? (translation: YOOO? DUDE??? WHO ARE YOU YOU'RE KINDA FAMILIAR) there is a pause and i hear him go "EIII! TUI EKHONO BAICHHA ASOS???" (translation: HEYYY! YOU'RE STILL ALIVE) (long story we were irl classmates and i haven't heard from him in a while) other people in our call congratulate us for finding a third bangla speaking person and then we both start rapid fire talking in bangla at one point someone jokingly asks the third guy (lets call him red) asks red if he can translate for them to which he deadpans "no hes from Barisal i can't understand a third of the words hes saying"
AND HE WAS GENUINE ABT IT. like red legit couldn't understand him cuz we switched into the weird dhaka-(home district) hybrid language most students in dhaka spoke the moment we got excited and started catching up w/ each other. red couldn't understand cuz he didn't know the barisal dialect and is not from dhaka but I could understand him just fine despite being unable to understand the barisal dialect fully as well.
sometimes i also watch dramas that are MADE OUR COUNTRY IN THE SAME LANGUAGE OF BANGLA and not understand a WORD being spoken w/o the subtitles cuz they are speaking adialect so far away from dhaka that it practically in comprehensible (srsly look up a map of bangladesh in the main 7 divisions the farther towards the hills it goes the more incomprehensible it becomes. the dialect of dhaka is so much different from the one in sylhet which is different from the one in chittagong.
but still ( @etfrin ) i implore u to understand how much of it was a shock to realise that people from like, lets say brahmanbaria could not understand the dhaka hybrid language that we students speak bc its got WAY too many additions from other dialects of other districs and just stopped making sense for them!
also, plz i wanna know more dialect shenanigans yall have faced w/ ur languages.
contrary to popular belief, someone who is fluent in their second language (L2) is unlikely to slip into their first language (L1) Â in these circumstances:
if someone just said something to them in L2 (this a big unconscious cue, and youâd be really unlikely to respond in L1 right after that)
when swearing in the middle of a sentence (e.g. âoh merde, i forgot my keys!â)
during sex
when speaking to someone they normally speak to in L2
it is slightly more common in these circumstances:
swearing, as long itâs not part of a sentence (e.g. they might just mutter âmerdeâ if they forgot their keys)
if theyâre surprised (especially if falling/tripping or experiencing sudden pain!)
when speaking to someone they normally speak to in L1
in their sleep or talking to themselves
when very disoriented, such as when concussed or on certain drugs
that being said, it is very common for people to intentionally use their first language in front of people who donât speak it for a variety of reasons (they might use a short expression they only know in L1, call their partner pet names, dirty talk during sex because their partner finds it attractive) â but this is on purpose!
also this doesnât account for people who grew up in an environment where people often mix multiple languages in their speech (e.g. spanglish or franglais) â in that case, they may accidentally drop an L1 swear into an L2 sentence, though theyâll still generally stick to L2 when speaking to people who only speak that language
#yes i was serious abt the 6 language thingy in reality the list is longer cuz i can understand most indian languages to some degree#and only have a mild amount of trouble in speaking them.#don't even get me started on urdu its fucking hilarious an actual buy-1-get-1-free offer w/ languages#also being raised in a musling society helped so i also know buts and bobs of arabic and my accent is pretty decent on that too :3

Hans Gunsche 1
Loud claps of thunder could be heard outside. The Zeppelin wasn't exactly sound proof. I was held up under my bed with my laptop, watching the storm roll across the radar at a painfully slow speed. The amazon wasn't the best place to be stationed for an astraphobe. Rain was a daily thing⊠as was thunder. I spent these times away from the others under my bed. No one seemed to notice my disappearances, thankfully. I clutched my worn out spider plushie and hunkered down for a few hoursâŠ
POV change
The tiny Captain on loan from the WL went missing again. I doubt that she had forgotten her rounds⊠though come to think of it she did go missing every time it rained. From the way that the pilots talked this was a relatively bad storm. Hopefully she wasn't out for a walk during this. I sniffed the air to see if I could find where she had gone to. After all the Major had promised her safety to the others in her unit. I got a faint smell of her in the air, she was often in the mess hall talking with the others, so it was possibly a lingering sent. Her rounds, also had a faint lingering sent. The men on the rout made a path for me, often asking each other where the girl was. I passed them and made my way outside. I few quick sniffs of the air proved useless. It was far too wet to find her out here. I could only hope, for the Major's sake that she was inside safe.
POV change
My lack of understanding Portuguese was biting me in the ass. There were no English captions and the internet page was half translated. Form the bits and pieces that a caught it seemed that the storm was a hurricane that had hit shore a day ago. We were inland enough to not get the damaging effects of the hurricane⊠but the storm was going to last a day or two. I did not have enough food and water to last that long. Not to mention the bull shit meetings I had to go to once a day. I was defiantly going to miss them. WhelpâŠ
POV change
I traced the halls of the Desus Ex Machada. Her sent was the strongest outside her room, that was to be expected though. I knocked on the door just to check if she was in there. I got no response so I went in. It was decorated in here⊠much less sparse than my room⊠'If I'm going to be living here with you lot, I'd at least like to be comfortableâŠ' I chuckled remembering her response to Dok scolding her for decorating the room with her stuff. She was quite outspoken, a good change from all the others around here. Her room light was on, though from what I've heard it's always on⊠something about not being able to sleep when it's dark. The small window in here room was covered in black out curtains. I peered through them to see that the window had a x made from tape on it⊠How weird. The art on her wall was strange⊠Jan liked them, something about how cool black light posters were, whatever black lights were. Out of the corner of my eye I saw her phone flash. She was here in the Desus Ex Machada somewhere.
POV change.
My phone went off and scared the shit out of me. I reached my hand out from under the bed to grab it. Maybe it was a weather alert that I could actually understand⊠With my luck it was a message from a friend or some stupid game. I quickly snatched it and looked⊠It was one of the vampires asking how to fix something. I ignored it, I have bigger problems at the moment. I set my phone aside and looked back at the radar.
POV change
I dainty hand shot out from under the bed and grabbed the phone⊠Why was she under her bed? I bent down to look. She was clutching a large stuffed spider and staring at her laptop. I could see in the reflection of her glasses that it was a storm radar. I got down onto the floor and watched her stare at the screen, her eyes were wide⊠then the smell hit me, she was scared⊠that's why she didn't answer me, she was too scared to notice that I had knocked on the door. She would usually tell me to come in with her loud voice. She had enough voice for the both of us. It was always nice to see Dok's face when she would yell at him for something⊠In fact I think the entire crew of the Desus Ex Machada could hear her. She's quite fearless, if I was her Dok would have ripped my vocal cords out.
POV change
I was so absorbed in watching the storm move at a slow pace across the area that it took me awhile to notice the red eyes staring at me. It was the Captain⊠We stared at each other, eyes locked before he tilted his head to me in a questioning manor. "W-what?" My voice barely came out, he heard me though. He motioned for me to come out from under the bed. "NoâŠ" I thought he was reaching out to grab me, instead he was joining me under the bed. He pointed to my computer screen. "It's the stormâŠ" He shook his head and I pulled up a word document. "You knowâŠ" Before I could even finish my sentence he turned my laptop and began typing. I watched as he typed out the sentence; 'Are you scared of storms?' All I could do was nod as a loud clap of thunder happened. I clutched my spider. Captain tapped my arm and pointed to the screen. He had apparently typed something else out while I was having a mini panic attack. 'Why?' I shook my head. "It's a long storyâŠ" He shook his head and I sighed.
POV change
The girl sighed. "I grew up in Texas, storms like this were common⊠I actually survived a tornado. I remember walking down the street looking at the path of destruction that it left⊠Entire houses were gone, mine included. The only reason I lived was the shelter we had built a year earlier. Most of the people on my street were dead or wounded⊠buried under rubble." She stopped talking and watched me type; 'That can't happen here.' She scoffed; "Yeah, I know that⊠I just can't help but be scared that every storm will turn deadly. I never said I had a good fear⊠After all when Dok asked me if I feared anything I responded with 'the stupidest thing in the world.' He thought it was death or public speaking⊠but no it's fucking storms." I chuckled, though no sound came out. She looked at me with a little pout of anger. 'Faruline, that's a valid fear.' She shook her head. "Being scared of every storm, having fear run through you every time that the wind blows hard⊠fearing rain, how is that not stupid." I reached up and patted her head. "Don't do that!" Her hair felt soft, and she was hiding something from the rest of us⊠another set of ears perched on top of her head. I went back to typing; 'It is valid because it is a natural ingrained fear. Like spiders and snakes. Rain and storms would have killed your ancestors, caused bad hunting and floods.' She stared at what I wrote for a hard minuet before I began to type again. 'Death is normal and unavoidable, so is public speaking. Being scared of those is worthless. Being scared of storms is useful. You are able to find safety and prepare.' I grabbed the jar of peanut butter from her side and showed it to her. She sighed and shook her head. "I guess you're rightâŠ" I set the jar down. "âŠit's a sound fear."
POV change
I watched Captain set my half eaten jar of peanut butter down. He then began to type again; 'Would you like me to stay here with you?' My eyes went wider than they already were. I was shocked, I figure he would just leave and go back to standing by the Major after realizing that I was safe. He cocked his head to me. "I⊠I would like that." He proceeded to crawl out from under my bed. I followed him after a loud clap of thunder, pushing my laptop and dragging my spider plushie. My laptop was picked up by gloved hands and set aside. I finished crawling out and climbed onto the bed. My plushie was pulled from my arms and set aside with my laptop. Captain easily sat down on my bed, must have been the right height for him. He settled in right next to me and turned the tv on. A large clap of thunder shook the zeppelin. I jumped and latched on to the Captain, who only looked at me for a brief second before going back to find something to watch.
POV change
She was clinging to me⊠She didn't notice the slight blush that came to my face. I tried to ignore it and looked for an English show to watch. If I had to I could embarrass myself with video games I could. Of the few channels we got only one seemed to be in English. It seemed to be a soap opera⊠the Major and Dok both enjoyed watching those, so maybe she would too. I watched her face to gage her reaction. "This trash is still on tv? It's been running since the sixties." I glanced back to the show. If it's been running this long then it must be good. She snuggled into my arm, I saw a small blush come to her face⊠I suppose she's never actually seen me without my coat on. A small smile crossed my lips. Before I knew it she snatched the remote from my hand. "I cannot stand another second of this desperate house wife shit." She proceeded to flip through the stations again; I reached out and grabbed her laptop to type something.
POV change
This was the only English channel? Are you shitting me? Soaps⊠in English playing in Brazil? Jesus fucking Christ, how were these trashy shows popular. Captain poked my arm. 'That's your only option.' I shook my head and snatched my laptop from him. "Lies!" I jumped out of the bead and hooked my laptop up to the tv. I loaded up Netflix and dipped back under my bed for my mouse. I grabbed it and pulled myself back into the bed. "Sorry I took your only form of communication⊠waitâŠ"
POV change
She was distracted from the storm now. The only responses that she gave were little involuntary jumps, even to the thunder that her human ears couldn't pick up. I watched as she rummaged through the desk that her tv was placed on. She pulled out a pen and stuck it into her hair. She slammed the drawer shut, making the tv wobble on its stand and yanked open another drawer. She pulled something out and tucked it under her arm. "Here." She tossed it at me. It was a nice note book, it had Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflowers on it. "You can keep that one, I have like three others at home." She climbed her way back into the bed and sat down next to me. "I had a penâŠ" I reached back and pulled it out of her ponytail. Her head turned to me quickly. "Oh⊠you wouldn't believe how many pens I loose in my hair." She smiled to me and just me⊠my cheeks heated up. I don't think she noticed as she turned back to watch something. "Let me know if something interests you, or you'd rather watch something in German." I tilted my head to the side, though she didn't see. She had thought of what I wanted to watch⊠how unusual. My opinion was never wanted from anyone⊠until now.
POV change
I flipped through my recommended stuff, nothing seemed to interest me. I was still jumping at the thunder, thou I had calmed down a lot. I was able to think about stuff other than the storm. My tail began to wag. It was stopped by a hand⊠Shit. I looked to Captain. He was staring at me with his head cocked. I turned red and swallowed hard. I think he's learned my secret. "Long storyâŠ" He let go of my tail and reached out for my head. I laid my ears down so he didn't accidentally put a finger into them. He gave me a few scratched behind my left ear and my tail went to wagging again. I pulled away from him after a moment and looked back to him. He had a soft smile on his lips⊠I was flabbergasted. He actually smiled, I returned it. I turned back to the tv and picked a nature documentary that I hadn't yet watched and settled back down next to Captain. He wrapped an arm around me.
POV change
She had ears and a tail, not that I could see them at the moment. Must have been covering them with magic. I knew she wasn't like me one-hundred percent, I did however know that she wasn't human. From the first time I smelled her back in London. I knew she was abnormally strong; she had to be to be picking fights with vampires⊠the ears and tail were a shock. She snuggled into me and I tightened my grip on her. She didn't purr, so she wasn't a cat, and her tail wagged as I petted her behind the ears⊠She was a dog? I must have jumped at the realization cause she looked to me. "You ok?" I opened the book to a blank page, it had sketches in it. Some of me, Dok, Schrodinger and Rip. 'What are you?' She looked to what I wrote. "It's kinda funny. This Russian dude fell in love with me, his sister was in love with him. So to get me out of the picture she turned me in to a dog⊠more than once. Some of the affects will never wear off." She snapped her fingers. Two brown dog ears appeared on her head and a brown tail on her back. She gave out a bit of a laugh. "So yeah, that's why I'm flinching at thunder I shouldn't be able to hear." I stared at her for a moment. I knew that wasn't the whole story. I had seen her win countless arm wrestling matched against vampires. She snuggled back into me. "I guess the Major left out my other universely origins?" I wasn't surprised by that. Seeing as she smelt human⊠though now with her magic off she smelt different. Like pine trees and saw dust⊠with a touch of wet dog. It reminded me of home, back in the Black Forest. I held her the best I could and rested my head onto hers.
POV change
Captain held me tight, it was comforting though. I had completely stopped jumping at the thunder and was focusing on the tv. Something I could have never done with MJ or Daniel staying with me. I felt him place his head on mine. He was so much bigger than me. I felt him take a deep breath threw his nose. He seemed relaxed for once. He always looks so tense. He began to lean on me and wrapped his arms around me, his hand came to rest on my stomach. A deep blush rushed through my cheeks. A sigh of contentment came through his nose. His grip tightened, as though he was trying to test his limits on my body and his other hand came and rested on my thigh; my blush grew. "Uh⊠Captain?" He hummed in response; I didn't know he could even make sound. "What are you doing?"
POV change
I was caught off guard by her question⊠What was I doing? Was I comforting her? I opened my eyes and lifted my head from her. I looked down; her cheeks were bright red. She was blushing⊠how cute. I leaned forward and placed a soft kiss to her forehead. She leaned into the kiss. "Why are you being nice to me?" That was a very good question, I thought on it for a momentâŠ
"Ah, yes, FraulineâŠ" The girl rolled her eyes. "It's Melody you tubby little major!" She glared at the Major. "âŠYes, of course, I am now your commanding officerâŠ" She snapped back at him without a beat. "You! Ha! I don't take orders from deranged lunatics!" Major Anders chimed in. "Captain! Mind your manners. All of his orders will be cleared by me. So yes, you do take orders from him." I could see it in her eyes, she wasn't defeated, she just knew when to give up.
âŠIt had to be then. She was unbreakable, even under my iron grip she was holding strong. Her deep green eyes stared at me as if waiting for me to speak. I just shrugged to her.
POV change
We stared at each other for a while after he kissed my forehead. He just shrugged. "What? There has to be a reason." He just shrugged again and pulled me into his lap. Oh god⊠What was I going to do⊠other than become stiff which is what I didâŠ
"I don't know what his problem is, dude." I glared to the two brothers coming down the hall. "Every time I open my mouth during a meeting he hit me in the back of the head." Luke rolled his eyes to his brother. "Probably because most of what comes out of your mouth is stupid." I shook my head and continued on my rounds. I heard a door open and shut as I turned the corner. "Oh, hey hot mama!" I rolled my eyes to Jan. "Not going to smile for me baby?" I glared at him. "A smileâŠ" Before he could finish what he was saying he was cut off by a gunshot. Further down the hall stood the Captain with his gun drawn. "Thanks, it's nice to know someone around here respects women." He nodded to me and continued on down the hall.
I couldn't take a casual flirty way with him like I did others. I was too nervous⊠This man, by anyone else's standards would be a brute was holding me gently in his lap. I dwarfed him by a foot in height, I was tiny compared to him. As my brain stopped working instincts kicked in. Before I could stop myself I was burring my way into his coat for warmth⊠and holy shit was he warm⊠and ripped⊠though I already knew that. I pulled the giant coat around me and cuddled in to sleep⊠Sleep there's a storm going on. I shot up and his grip tightened on me. I sighed and relaxed a bit. He looked at me with his head cocked to the side⊠I couldn't speak, his expression was so fucking cute. I smiled to him and went to cuddle back into his chest, then I noticed it, a dog tag.
POV change
Cold finger tips brushed against my chest as the girl began to wiggle her way under my coat. In fact most of her was cold. She wiggled her way in completely. I felt her lay her on my chest, before she quickly startled. I looked down to her with a concerned face. She shook her head and went to lay on me again. Instead of doing that she grabbed my dog tag. "Hans Gunsche, Werewolf soliderâŠ" My name⊠I hadn't heard it in years. "Well, it's nice to know that there's something other than Captain that I can call you." She ran her thumb over the metal. She was going to call me by my name? I wasn't going to be just 'Captain' to her anymore⊠and come to think of it do I even remember her name?... 'It's Melody, you tubby little major!'⊠Melody⊠Melody B. Howard⊠she set my dog tag back down on my chest and snuggled in to me. She closed her eyes and I heard a sigh of relief. "At least I'm going to sleep tonight." She was going to go to sleep⊠Then maybe I should get some rest too.
POV change
I woke up warm, what a change, this place was usually freezing. My hair was moving⊠a loud clap of thunder, and I jumped. An arm gripped me tightly⊠Oh, that's right, I fell asleep on Captain, Hans⊠I fell asleep with him! I shot up at full force, I'm sure my eyes tinted themselves with my sudden fright. A hand came up and rubbed my arm. I looked back to him. His coat and gloves were discarded. I felt a deep blush cover my entire face. I had discarded my shirt in my sleep and was only left in my bra⊠here I am, with Hans, taking me in⊠or so I thought. His eyes were locked to mine, such a gentleman. I shook my head and went to get up when a earth shaking thunder clap shook everything. I began to panic. I went to dive onto the floor so I could crawl under my bed, but a warm set of hands stopped me. I was pulled back to the bed. My blanket was thrown back over me in a swift moment and I was being held to a very firm very warm chest. "Hans?" His grip tightened as I said his name. "Why are you still here?" He sat up and grabbed the notebook I gave him last night and began to write. 'I didn't want to leave you alone.' I was so confused. Hans, the Major's body guard was here with me and not him? Well I suppose that he's safe right now, it's not like we're in enemy territory. I sighed and shook my head. "You're confusing." I closed my eyes for a brief moment and before I knew it his lips were on mine. It was a gentle sweet kiss, and before I could even realize what I was doing my hands were in his hair. For the first time since I met him I had gotten a good smell of him. He smelt of apple wood smoke, fresh bread, and a hint of wet dog.
POV change
What I thought would just have been a kiss soon turned in to something more. Her hands were in my hair and my hands landed on her hips. They were still warm from my body heat. When we parted I noticed that she had moved herself under me. Our chests were touching, her bra was silk. Her legs were wrapped around my torso. It was an intimate moment, something I hadn't experienced in years. Her lips reached up and recaptured mine, in a passionate kiss. She drug her nails down my shoulder and up my neck. Had it not been for the footsteps approaching the room this would have gone further. I pulled myself from her and she let out a whine, it pained me. A knock came to the door. "Captain Howard! Are you in there?" It was Dok. "The Captain is missing." She froze, which didn't help. The door soon cracked open. "Faru Howard?" Dok stuck his head into the room. "Ack! I am sorry!" He quickly left and closed the door. I felt Melody give a quiet laugh. "Oops." We would probably get scolded by our majors later⊠but it was nice to be so close to someone, who cared about me.
POV change
"What the hell were you two thinking!" Frau Melody gave a nervous smile. "Shit happens?" Herr Major laughed and Major Anders went back to scolding the two. "Emotional attachment can ruin a missionâŠ" Frau Melody quickly snapped back. "Hey! Don't pick favorites! You let Lillian and MJ work together!" I was having a hard time holding back my laughter, it was funny watching her rip others apart during an argument⊠It's nice to be watching instead of being the one she's ripping apart. "This is different Captain Howard." She got a cocky smile. "How so? You planning on wiping them out after we're done with Hellsing?" Major Anders choked on his words. "Then it is no different! There is no excuse for you to play favorites!" Frau Melody did an about face and walked away. She was the only one in our Last Battalion that could do that. Herr Major dismissed the Captain. When Major Anders hung up I busted into laughter. "They are a cute couple, right Avondale?" I lifted my glasses and wiped tears from my eyes. "Ah, yes they are. The brains and the brawn⊠Though, I wonder why her." Herr Major gave a chuckle. "I guess you never noticed dear Doctor⊠her hearing is exceptional, I have been whacked by what I can only presume is a tail." I thought about it for a moment. "Ah, she must be part dog, like Warrant Officer Schrodinger is part cat." A smile graced my features. "Wonderful, isn't it Doctor."

Komui's Discussion Room content (DGM 27)
Volume 27 has been released recently here in Brazil and I realized the remaining of Komuiâs Discussion Room were nowhere to be found in English, but after reading all of it, I thought there are very interesting things hence why I wanted to share!
Please bear in mind this is not a direct translation, but a summary.
I have a lot of criticism when it comes to Viz Mediaâs release (official English), but Iâm quite content with the work Panini, the distributor of D.Gray-Man in Brazil, has done so far with the official Portuguese release. If there are any mistakes, please bear in mind I translated the information directly from their version.
There are 11 questions covered in this summary. For the others, please check Jeidafeiâs translations on them (totally recommend it!): Part 1 | Part 2 | Author's note & Thanks Corner | Extra
Without further ado, letâs get into it! This got very long.
â« Kanda hasnât reached the âcritical pointâ in synchronization yet (+ why Allen isnât a General)
In the question âHow did Kanda hide having gone past the critical pointâ, Tiedoll answers that he actually has the potential it takes to do it but hasnât done it yet. Still on the same question, they answer a related question about Allenâs critical point: âIf Allen has reached the critical point, why wasnât he appointed to become a general during the Orderâs reconstruction?â
Allen replies that it was impossible at that time since Central was keeping watch over him. Tiedoll adds that heâs also too young and the only one able to operate the Ark, the latter making Central even more suspicious of him. General Crossâs reputation also seems to have played a part in this, having the higher-ups deem Allen as someone they couldnât trust enough.
Ryoâs note: Allen thanks Tiedoll for putting his thoughts about Cross into words and Cross simply laughs it off. XD
â« Sleeping positions
They get asked about their sleeping positions. Tiedoll describes how Kanda sleeps with detail (when younger, in fetal position; nowadays, he sleeps lying on his side, preferentially the right side).
Allen comments that Johnny sleeps sprawled on the floor or the desk and that everyone in the Science Division sleeps like this; when he first saw it, he got concerned thinking something tragic had happened. Johnny says itâs comfortable to sleep like this, but Allen isnât so sure.
Cross comments on how Allen sleeps; he mentions he likes to sleep hugging something and when he canât do it, he complains until falling asleep. Allen gets flustered and claims that he got used to sleeping with Tim because he used to be big, but is over it nowadays. Johnny remembers Link used to tell him not to sleep with the piggy-bank, to which Allen replies that it was ânot a sleeping position, but survival instinctsâ.
Kanda comments on how he brought a ton of food to the infirmary one time and says it was annoying to listen to him eating nonstop. Allen replies with sarcasm (âsorry for needing to eat to recover my energiesâ).
Cross sleeps naked, with his arms open (according to Allen).
Tiedoll sleeps on his stomach, blanket over his face.
Ryoâs note: The time Kanda is referring to is in Chapter 135 (135th Night: Repose, Partly Cloudly).
â« The symbol on the CROWs' foreheads
Cross replies that itâs probably the compulsory mark of the procedure that transforms regular people in CROWs. Tiedoll says that Cross knows a lot, as expected of someone whoâs able to use magic âhe shrugs off the compliment â and Kanda asks when and how exactly someone like him learned it. He angrily says he didnât learn it anywhere and ends the question at Allenâs remark that he always gets angry when people ask.
Ryoâs note: This is interesting. Could imply he was the one to teach magic to Nea (and the Earl himself?), and not the other way around. But, itâs also possible he just didnât want to answer.
â« âWhat is something you find impressive on the other, but have never admitted?â
Johnny decides to start with Kanda and Allen, and the two exchange insults for several lines.
Johnny then passes the baton to the Generals, who do the exact same as their apprentices.
Johnny ends the question with a thank you and sweating nervously.
Ryoâs note: By âinsultsâ, I mean things like Kanda calling Allen a crybaby, and Allen saying Kandaâs dumb. Tiedoll calls Cross a delinquent; Cross calls him âdoting dadâ. The list goes onâŠ
â« The time Kanda spent with General Tiedoll right after becoming his apprentice (+ Allenâs time with Cross)
They are asked what was the most outstanding episode from such a time, and Kanda absentmindedly says he forgot. Tiedoll seems disappointed, stating they had made so many marvelous memories together, to which Kanda replies âplease stop talking in this weird wayâ.
Allen asks how the travels were, and Tiedoll says the most important at that time was to take care of mending Kandaâs heart. They spent much time talking about amenities, having contact with plants and animals and admiring beautiful landscapes. Tiedoll believes that getting in touch with beautiful things can help to connect with the world, despite carrying the burden of being a Second; he wanted Kanda to feel like regular people feel about the world.
Johnny and Allen are touched, and the latter comments how jealous he is. Cross then reminds Allen of how many bedsheets he had to wash because of him, making him flustered. He then goes on to remind how not only he did that but also had to feed him â Tiedoll comments on how it seems impossible to imagine Cross doing all that â and even help him change many times.
Allenâs embarrassment reaches the maximum and he threatens to beat Cross if he keeps talking about that.
â« Stories of when Kanda and Lenalee were little
Kanda tries to shrug the question off, but Johnny insists they answer. Tiedoll says that the two of them were really cute, just like two lilies that bloomed inside the gray scenery of the Order; Kanda tells him to stop.
Allen is uninterested in Kanda, but wants to hear about Lenalee. Cross asks him if he likes her, and says he thought he had a girlfriend in the Asian Branch already. Allen denies it and says both LouFa and Lenalee are his friends; Cross laughs, saying he doesnât judge, and Allen nearly snaps in irritation (again).
Johnny moves on to answer the question; Kanda is against it, but Tiedoll holds him in place. Johnny tells that Jiji told him that at first, Kanda would be asked if Lenalee could train with him, but he would shrug her off saying he didnât want to train with a girl, which would make her cry.
Every time Kanda made Lenalee cry, she would run off to Reever. In reality, Johnny thinks she wanted to talk to Komui instead, but she thought he was busy and didnât want to bother him, resulting in her crying at Reeverâs desk. Tiedoll and Allen are weeping at it (they thought itâs cute).
While Reever comforted Lenalee, Marie would appear bringing Kanda along, who had no idea how to apologize, while Lenalee would bashfully hide inside Reeverâs lab coat. This kept happening until he eventually accepted to train with her.
Johnny starts telling another story involving Kandaâs meditation and Lenalee coming back tired from a mission, but Kanda interrupts him. Allen says itâs being fun and tells him not to bother.
Kanda tells him to shut up, calling him a bedwetter. Allen snaps (again).
Ryoâs note: ÂŻ\_(ă)_/ÂŻ
â« âWho amongst the Noah would Allen best go along with? Hypothetically speaking.â
Allen and Kanda are worn out from fighting (see the previous question); Johnny is giving them calming tea. Tiedoll says that it seems Allen and Tyki Mikk looked friendly when talking to each other, and Allen interjects saying theyâre not friends and that Tyki doesnât respect the notion of personal space.
He then goes on to say he doesnât imagine himself being friends with any Noah because they lack common sense. Cross mentions Road and how sheâs always being flirty with him, which makes Allen tell him to stop implying things, while sounding unsure about being friends with her or not.
Johnny asks if Allen is embarrassed and reminds Road kissed him. He denies being embarrassed and says that kissing is just a form of greeting for her (heâs sweating nervously while saying so). He adds that, on top of that, he feels like Road sees someone else when she looks at him.
Cross seems amused.
Ryoâs note: This answer is very interesting. It seems to confirm the theory that Road had some kind of connection with past!Allen. We wonât know for sure until itâs revealed, but it does seem to imply such a thing.
â« The taste of Innocence + the Crystal Type Innocence + Exorcist supplies + Cross suspiciously knowing about the Bookman clan
A reader asks how did Innocence taste like when liquefied; Kanda says it tastes like nothing, similar to water.
Johnny points out the wounds that formed after their Innocence became Crystal types and if they donât hurt. Kanda says that at the time they donât, but such wounds wonât heal even with his healing ability â which he concludes makes sense since itâs from where the blood comes out to form the weapons.
Johnny mentions that the Science Division (Komui, more specifically) made Lenalee pills that will prevent anemia. Still on that subject, Allen remembers people had asked what goes inside the bags the Exorcists carry on their uniforms. Johnny says they carry first-aid kits, disinfectants, anti-hemorrhagic meds, and things of the sort. Miranda and Timothy carry sweets with a high intake of calories, Krory carries Akuma blood sweets and Lavi and Bookman asked for migraine meds.
Tiedoll says they are nothing without the support of the Science Division and thanks them. Allen asks about Lavi and Bookman getting migraines. Cross mentions itâs probably from an occupational disease because storing that much information and memories can wreck your head over time.
Allen comments again that he seems to know a lot about the Bookman Clan, and that itâs very suspicious. Cross magnificently shrugs off the question.
â« Allenâs cheating
Allen gets asked if he becomes bad at luck games (i.e gambling) in case he doesnât cheat. He says that a bet on luck always rewards something even if gains are small, but Johnny says heâs really bad at things like rock-paper-scissors. Kanda thinks he was just in denial about admitting heâs unlucky.
When scolded by Kanda, Allen says it was a matter of survival and that he never cheated good people on; just bad people.
Johnny says living like this is dangerous and that he should stop; Allen apologizes and says he needs money, and if anything, he can use his Innocence.
Cross is amused and sounds proud. Tiedoll regrets Crossâs influence on Allen.
â« About Link
Allen gets asked if he has ever seen Link smile, to which he responds he has tried making him laugh/smile, but never could do it. Johnny says that everyone from Central is very serious, especially Link. Tiedoll thinks that it might be forbidden to smile when their superior is Director Lvellie.
Allen goes on to ramble about how Link complained about everything: when he had food on his face after or during eating, asking him to redo reports because they were illegible despite Reever being able to read, scolding him for not drying his hair after going out of the bath because he could get a cold, and how he was a shame for not folding his uniform properly before putting it away.
Cross asks him, âwhat was he? Your mother?â and Allen says he didnât get annoyed at him. He wonders if all moms are like this.
Johnny says people were worried when he was assigned to watch Allen, but in the end, Link went along well with everyone and confirms that Allen liked him as well. He also states that Allenâs reports became a lot easier to read thanks to him.
Ryoâs note: Ladies, gentlemen, and non-binary folks: itâs Link appreciation time! *tips hat* Also Allen wondering about how mothers treat their children was just precious, even if itâs a throwaway comment.
â« The vibe at the Black Order
In the question âWho runs faster, Komui or Reever?â, Johnny says that he thinks Reever is faster; Allen adds that Komui cheats by using Komurin, though. Kanda gets annoyed and tells them they (at the Science Division) should make Komui behave accordingly to his role. Johnny sniffs and says that they try.
Tiedoll says that itâs actually good that Komui is cheerful because the Order used to be a very different place until he took over the post, and that he (Tiedoll) disliked the gloomy aura it used to have. Allen remembers Lenalee commented about it once and asks if the Order was really this different back then. Tiedoll says that even if itâs been built with a noble purpose, human beings arenât perfect and a lot of things get distorted over a hundred years. He recommends Allen to ask For about it, as she has existed ever since the Order was founded and protects it to this day.
Allen is sad and comments he wants to visit the Asian Branch again someday. Johnny says heïżœïżœïżœll go with Allen, but the latter says he would want to eat Jeryyâs food again before that. Cross sneers and wishes good luck.
They wrap it up at this, and both Kanda and Allen look very happy about being done with the Discussion Corner (as noted by Johnny). Tiedoll bids Cross adieu, and says ârest in peace, Marianâ â to which he replies âdonât treat me like a ghostâ.
Allen says he knows Cross is an illusion created by his weakness, but that he was happy to see him (in reference to the 222nd Night: Searching for A.W - Hypokrisis). Cross tells him not to exaggerate.
Johnny is content that they could finally keep it to the ideal number of pages â something the Discussion Corner is known to usually have trouble with. Tiedoll says that if they had gone overboard, the next issueâs Discussion Corner would be canceled, and wraps up thanking everyone who has cared about Yu so far and asks that people keep cheering for him.
Johnny thanks the readers for sending their questions. Allen and Kanda are relieved itâs over.
Ryoâs note: And thatâs it! Man, this got LONG. Thank you very much for reading until the end. Canât wait for the next Discussion Room, the way Tiedoll worded it makes it seem like itâll be on the next volume, 28. Iâm excited!

In a modern AU, what languages would the characters be able to speak fluently?
personally thereâs a lot of languages Iâve tried to learn but it never works
AOT characters + languages they speak
no warnings
modern
eren: he only knows german and (partial) english but his accent isnât very noticeable. he tried to learn romanian to impress historia (though, truly, she didnât care) but he thought it was too weird and gave up
armin: german, english, french, and spanish. and he speaks them all perfectly. he picks up languages really easily, partially because he travels abroad often. he defaults to german especially when heâs upset so if eren and armin are mad at each other theyâll have full blown arguments in ridiculously fast german. his german accent is slightly noticeable but not thick
mikasa: fluent in english and mandarin chinese, but sheâs also trying to learn german and has been taking classes for a few years because she wants to understand what the hell eren and armin are arguing about. sheâs only semi-fluent and has to ask eren to slowly repeat himself a lot when practicing with him
jean and connie: german and english for both but jean sounds very austrian in particular. connie also speaks fluent spanish (I hc him as part latino)
sasha: english, portuguese, and some spanish, but she has a very typical midwestern american accent and nobody knows where it came from. connie says itâs probably the western movies
historia: romanian, english, french, and partial german. (I hc her as romanian/french) she learned english during middle school so she could study abroad once she was older. her accent in english passes very well for northeastern american
ymir: she doesnât even care that nobody speaks it anymore but she knows latin as well as castilian spanish, italian, and portuguese. (I hc her as hispanic with a very mixed family)
levi: fluent in german and french. heâs also trying to learn english and is semi-fluent but doesnât start conversations in english very often because he doesnât want to embarrass himself
erwin: german and (very partial) english but he sounds VERY german. he canât pronounce squirrel and instead refers to them as âtree ratsâ in english
hange: fluent in german and polish but is also determined to learn english, and they can hold a good conversation in it so far. they also have to translate for levi and erwin because neither of them can understand english super well. itâs a huge ego boost for hange honestly
reiner: german is his first language and although he is fluent in english he often forgets words and stutters a lot or has to ask bertholdt what the english word for something is. he also tried to learn ukrainian to show off (since annie picked it up quickly) but failed horribly
bertholdt: basically the opposite to reiner. while yes german is his first language and he is also fluent in english, he often forgets german words and has to ask reiner what the german word for something is. also I donât know if this counts but he knows asl
annie: german, russian, and ukrainian. she tried learning english and can hold a conversation pretty well but itâs not her language of choice. her accent is noticeably southern russian
porco: fluent in english and despite being surrounded by german speakers he canât really hold a conversation in it and has to be reminded of certain words often. his accent is strangely eastern american and pieck jokes that itâs because of all the movies he watches
pieck: okay hear me I hc that her first language is polish and she learned german around elementary school when she moved. she was very surprised to learn hange also speaks polish so sometimes they have conversations in polish to gossip about their friend groups. she also knows asl
zeke: german and partial english, same as eren. his accent is a lot more noticeable than his brotherâs however. although if someone asks him a question in german he says âI donât speak germanâ in english despite having a very distinct bavarian german accent

My birthday is tomorrow and I would like to make a request, if it's not too much trouble. The reader is Brazilian. Being new in Santa Carla, she would be very excited about everything else, but wouldn't mind getting into a fight with the surf Nazis. How would the boys react? To their native customs, like greeting people with warm hugs and kisses, her clothes, accent, when she forgets and ends up speaking in their native language. I can just imagine her teaching them how to curse in Portuguese
I'm sorry this is so late, but I hope you had a good birthday! I've decided to do this one a little differently to normal, because it seemed to work better, so I hope you enjoy it!đđâ€
A New Face.
The Lost Boys x reader
Warnings: mentions of violence, mention of swearing
Masterlist
The boys are used to all sorts of people coming through Santa Carla, having seen at least twenty different nationalities and ethnicities flocking to the small coastal town, so they're only partially surprised when they hear yet another different language being spoken around the Boardwalk.
It's a warm night towards the beginning of September, and they've just finished their rounds of terrorising locals when they first see her: a beautiful woman excitedly going from shop to shop, talking animatedly with a friend, who is equally as vocal. They're instantly somewhat intrigued by her: Portugese isn't a language they hear often, and she seems to be a particularly friendly person.
For the remainder of the night, they follow her and her friend around discreetly, just watching and admiring the easy-going presence leading them around the Boardwalk. It's evident that she's new around here, so the boys are glad that there won't be an ingrained dislike for them, like there is with anyone who's lived in Santa Carla for any number of years.
The next night, they go out looking for her again, easily finding her as she roams the rides and attractions in the other areas of the Boardwalk, this time alone, though the curious gleam never leaves her eyes. She smiles a lot, especially as she comes across things she seems to like, so the boys decide to make a move, having discussed this the night before.
The first meeting goes smoothly; as they predicted, the girl is open to them and has no prevailing prejudice, greeting them as if they were the most approachable people on the planet, smiling and grinning the whole time, speaking flawless English with them. Naturally, the accent tinging her voice intrigues them, the four vampires quickly finding themselves drawn to it, loving the way it sounds, particularly when she repeats their names.
The boys show her around the rides: Paul takes her on the largest one on the Boardwalk, the two screaming in ecstasy as they rocket around the rollercoaster tracks: Marko takes her on the bumper cars, where they nearly end up giving each other whiplash: Dwayne plays a shooting game with her, and easily wins the largest prize he can for her, glad to see her beaming widely at him: David chooses to take her on the Ferris wheel, knowing the view from the top is beautiful. She has a great time, and readily tells them this, asking whether or not she can meet them again as soon as she realises it's too late for her to stay out longer. Only too happy to oblige, the four vampires tell her they'll be there every night and are willing to spend them with her.
For weeks, the five of them hang out together becoming accustomed to each other and their weird habits, though it took the boys a little longer to accept some of them. They're naturally very jealous beings, so when they see her greeting a friend by pulling him into a tight hug, pressing a kiss to his cheek, they get suspicious. They don't ask about it, but they do notice that a sense of envy and protectiveness had made itself known, and they all know what that means.
Within the first month of knowing her, she has invited them over to her's numerous times to serve them some of the best traditional food they've ever eaten. It's at that point that she hears they basically live off of takeout (they don't tell her about their vampirism yet), and she's aghast - "You don't cook your own meals? Why?"
With that question, they decide it's only fair they show her where they live.
They didn't know what reaction they were expecting, but the one they got was not it.
She was in awe, instantly falling in love with the messy interior of the hotel, their new friend going around every corner of the cave so that she can take it all in, exploring curiously. Every now and then, she'd asked about something, and the boys made up some story about its origin - She doesn't need to know it's all stolen from victims yet.
Unfortunately, her appearance often gets unwanted attention from the more seedy visitors of the Boardwalk, and she's had far too many run-ins with the surf Nazis.
At first, she hadn't said anything, and had ignored the lewd comments, the inappropriate cat-calling and the wolf whistles, despite the boys steadily getting more and more annoyed with them. Eventually, she had snapped, and started to insult the boys trying to get at her, her accent much more pronounced now as she stepped right up to their leader, clearly ready to fight them if she needed to.
The boys can only watch as she easily deals with the surf Nazis, finding her show of confidence incredibly hot to watch- there's something about her asserting her dominance that awakened something in the four vampires. And when she started cussing the surfers out in her native tongue, well, that was it really. They knew right then they had to have her as their own.
As soon as she got back to them, Paul had accosted her, begging her to teach him some of the Portuguese swear words he'd just heard, Marko soon joining in as David also showed some interest, a smirk in place on his face. Dwayne could only shake his head, but he too asked if she could teach him some Portugese.
They find it incredibly cute when she adds little phrases and words into sentences in her native tongue, often teasing her for any funny idioms she uses, or catchphrases that don't really translate very well. They also notice that she reverts back to Portugese when she's tired or angry, a trait they find highly amusing to listen to.
Eventually, they build up the courage to explain to her what they are, and to ask her to be with them romantically. At first, she's sceptical of both, but she soon warms up to the idea of being in a relationship with four loving vampires. They do make it work out, however, and life for them becomes much more enjoyable, the five of them spending a whole lot more time together as they will do for decades to come.

Writing Advice Bilingual Characters
As some of you (who read my reviews) already might have noticed, I am bilingual myself. Sadly, multilingual people do not get represented well a lot in media, so yeah... some advice for writing them. It will certainly not capture every aspect of being bilingual, but it might give you a first idea.
There are different ways to be multilingual.
People who grew up with more than one native language will almost certainly speak all of them fluently. Most of them have two (their parentsâ language and their countryâs language, or the language of one parent and of the other) but I also know a family where the children grew up with four native languages (the mother speaks Portuguese, the father Italian, they talk to each other in English, and live in Germany, where the children grew up)
Some people speak two or more languages, but cannot write all of them - especially when the alphabets are not the same, for example English and Russian or Arabic. This affects mostly children of immigrants.
Some people can read and write a language quite well, but are not good at speaking or listening comprehension. Those people often learned the language at school with a bad teacher or by themselves with books and apps.
Some people, again mostly children and grandchildren of immigrants, can read and understand a language, but donât speak it. Mostly, the parents decided to not teach the child the language, and they learned it themselves by listening to their parents talk to relatives.
Confidence can play a big role in this. I understand the dialect of my grandparents without a problem, but I would never try to speak it. I canât even imagine forming those words with my mouth, and it would sound terrible.
People who learnt a language at school can reach completely different levels of that language. I started learning English at age 6 and am completely fluent by now. Other people in my class barely understand more than easy conversations in English.
Most people will do their very best to hide their accents.
If the person is not a native speaker, but fluent in a language, their accent will be a mix of whatever they can find at the moment. Media is a big influence in that.
Since I watch more British than American TV, my accent sounds a bit british, too. When I watched âCall the Midwifeâ, I often even unconciously copy the accent of Laura Main. I donât know why her, but my brain just liked it, I guess.
Also, we will use words, phrases and sentence structures from so many different sources.
People who learnt English through the internet (aka most of the younger generation) will have problems to not use swear words when actually being in Great Britain or America. They just do not have the weight for us, since on the internet they get used all the time.
I have never in my whole live heard a multilingual person switch languages mid-sentence on accident.
We will do it on purpose, though, if the other part of the conversation understands both languages.
Also, we will maybe say the word in another language if we forget the meaning.
Multilingual people that are not natives in the language they usually use in their day-to-day life (immigrants, for example) will often count and calculate in their native language. For example at a restaurant where they calculate the price in their head, they will probably do it in their native language.
Conversations with multiple multilingual people can be very different.
If one person only understands one language, they will probably try to include that person by speaking the language they share. I can say from experience, though, that if eight native Germans that have varying levels of English language skills will sit together with one introverted Turkish person with medium English language skills, they will go back to German quite often. Itâs not nice, but sadly natural.
In general, people will try to speak in their native language if possible. You can take two people that share a native language and also both speak English and let them walk around in London - they will probably speak their native language, no matter how well they speak English.
Multilingual people that share multiple languages will switch on purpose when they feel like they can express their thoughts better in the other language.
Many languages have taken words from English.
Especially young people take a lot of English filler words and phrases (or insults) and put them into their native language. âHelp, mein Deutschlehrer ĂŒberfordert uns mit Hausaufgaben, like, what the fuck, glaubt der wir haben nichts besseres zu tun?â Is a sentence you would absolutely hear from a German student.
Many young people that donât live in Great Britain or America will not use these words and phrases around their parents. First of all, our parents often do not speak English as well as we do, but more importantly, our parents do not like us using English instead of ur native language.
Many professions nowadays have an English name, I donât know why. What used to be a Hausmeister is now a Facility Manager. The longer the English phrase for your profession, the more likely you will not be taken serious by older people.
Once you have more than one native language, you learn new languages more easily, for some reason. I know a girl that speaks 7 languages, at age 20, 5 of them fluently.
"You speak English quite wellâ or phrases like that said by a native speaker can be the best compliment ever, or more uncomfortable than nice.
When you are translating for your family and hear that sentence, it is super nice.
When you are only speaking English, that sentence indicates that your accent is still heavy. You do not pass as a native speaker.
When you are a native speaker, that sentence is just weird.
You can indentify the people that learnt a language through reading by giving them words that are pronounced untypically.
For years I thought âpreciousâ (a word that is heavily used on the internet, especially in fan communities, but not that much in school) was pronounces pree-ci-ous. I was shocked when I heard it for the first time.
There are situations where even quite fluent non-native speakers will not be able to understand or talk in their second language.
The first few minutes after standing up (although that can change when the person is really fluent)
When they are in great pain
When they are in great fear
When they are under great stress
Sometimes even when they did not use that language in the last few days
Translating in realtime is terribly hard and will fuck your head. When I was on holiday with my parents, I often had to read the information signs in museums or at sights for them and translate. Itâs easier when you first read the text and then summarise it in another language, but trying to translate it sentence by sentence is painful and you will question your abilities in both languages.
This gets just more horrible when under pressure. While we were in England, a visibly stressed young woman came to us and asked us if we had 5 pounds, she had lost some money she needed to take the train back home. I repeated her sentence to my father. In English.
Also sorry to the poor worker at McDonalds who I talked English to while speaking German to my English exchange student.
People abroad will absolutely become friends with every person that they hear speaking their language. While being in London, we overheard a man talking to his son in German about taking a photo, and I immediately asked (in German) if I should take a photo of both of them together. We talked for fifteen minutes after that, even though we had never met before.
On that note, in tourist citys the people that try to sell things to tourists usually speak a lot of languages enough to say things like âOh, I speak a bit of [language], too, but not well. Didnât pay enough attention in school. You look like nice people.â Makes it so easy to sell things.
Idioms are literally hell. Best example has been in the news currently, with Greta Thunberg literally translating a Swedish idiom in a tweet not realising that âputting someone against a wallâ means something totally different in English.Â
Idioms will be hell for you as a writer, too, though, as long as you do not fluently speak both of the languages or at least one of them is fictional, because itâs quite easy to mess up if you use idioms that jus arenât normally used by people speaking that language.
Bilingual puns are amazing, but sadly rare.
Those are the things I thought of first... Maybe you can find some ideas or inspiration there for your characters, too. The best thing of course is to let someone proof-read your character if you are uncertain, but this hopefully already helped you a bit!

Fic Writer Questions!
@oddsocksandstuff tagged me in this, thank you so much, sweetie! â€ïž
 1) How many works do you have on AO3? Iâve got 40 so far (of which 25 are SPN fics). Thereâs more to come!Â
2) Whatâs your total AO3 word count? 486,667, apparently. That tells me each of my fics has an average wordcount of 12,166.675⊠Seems about right. I was never any good at keeping things short.
3) How many fandoms have you written for and what are they? Uhh⊠On AO3 Iâve written for Supernatural, Supernatural RPF, X-men (Cherik) and McFassy (James McAvoy/Michael Fassbender). But Iâve written a lot when I was younger that has never made it online, including NCIS, Pirates of the Caribbean, and lots of weird one-shorts starring everyone from Michael J. Fox to Kevin Sorbo from âHercules: The Legendary Journeysâ. đ€š Â
4) What are your top 5 fics by kudos? âA Lesson to be Taughtâ â an SPN Wincest pwp fic where a dominant Dean fucks (and spanks) Sam and they discover that Dean apparently has a daddy!kink. Comes with a photo manipulation too! There be dick.  Â
âTaking Gameâ â a semi-dark medieval Cherik (Charles Xavier/Erik Lehnsherr from X-men) AU. Basically, Charles is a poacher hunting on king Erikâs land to his great dismay. And so, heâs captured and gets the choice between losing his life or serving the king for a bit⊠Dubcon and smut ensues.  âOnly Like Thisâ â a little SPN Wincest dub-con fic about hopelessly pining Dean doping Sam just so he can touch and kiss his oblivious little brother. Itâs okay. Sam wonât remember when he comes to.  âItâs Only Carnalâ â A dark SPN Wincest noncon fic where soulless!Sam needs to blow off some steam. And when it comes to carnal activities his brother isnât exactly a novice â so why not use Deanâs body to make them both feel good?  âDemonizedâ â a long and dark af SPN noncon fic written in collaboration with the awesome @palishere. Sam is captured by some nasty demons who use him to lure in his brother. At first it seems the demonic scumbags are just really perverted and have a weakness for sexual torture, but they turn out to have ulterior motivesâŠÂ Â
5) Do you respond to comments, why or why not? Yes, always. I think it can be a bit demotivating for a reader to leave a comment and get zero response â and so, they might not bother to comment on the next fic. At least, thatâs how I feel personally. And besides, I really want to let readers know that I appreciate them taking the time and effort to actually tell me what they think. Â
6) Whatâs the fic youâve written with the angstiest ending? Oufff⊠Seriously? How can I possibly pick just one when 99.8 percent of my fics are not only dark af but have gut-wrenching ambiguous endings as well? I, err⊠Iâm gonna have to think really hard about this one, hold on⊠*Insert buzzing cicada sound*⊠Uhh⊠Well, I guess it might be⊠âPlay or Payâ â a dark female!reader-insert Wincest fic where demon!Dean has you and Sam trapped somewhere underground. Sam ends up being on the receiving end of the demonâs cruelty when he tries to save you. Using Deanâs body the demon ends up raping Sam while the reader tries to escape to get help... Thereâs a little twist in the end. Loads of dead dove here, including death (not Dean or Sam).   âThe Orange Hourâ â where undercover inmate!Dean has to rape CO!Sam in order to save both of their lives and get them out of the jail in one piece. It doesnât go completely as planned. (Comes with an nsfw photo manipulation). âDemonizedâ â loads of bottom!Sam torture, full of hurt and absolutely no comfort... Itâs just⊠I dunno, I think I and @palishere had a collective meltdown in the noncon and angst department. Sorrynotsorry.   Â
8) Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one youâve written? Nope, Iâve never in my life written a crossover. Usually, Iâm too laser-focused on 1 obsession at a time. I canât multitask, okay? Â Â
9) Have you ever received hate on a fic? Yes, the fandom purity police has visited me on AO3. The usual self-proclaimed know-it-alls vomiting their bullshit all over the comment section about how âproblematicâ noncon is and how âsickâ I must be. I thought about moderating comments for a while, actually â but I just deleted their follow-up comments until they left me alone. đ€
10) Do you write smut? If so what kind? Yes!! Gimme! Usually, I write noncon smut or just good olâ pwps that feature some sort of dominance. Thatâs it. Thatâs my jam. In general, the only smut I donât write is the cute, fluffy, feel-good, cuddly stuff⊠My smutâs usually pretty rough and/or some sort of dub/noncon.
11) Have you ever had a fic stolen? Yes. Someone stole âItâs Only Carnalâ and posted it as her own on some Portuguese fanfiction site. She even replied to comments, answered questions and talked about how much she loved writing it, etc⊠Luckily a sweet mutual on Tumblr let me know about it and I reported her for plagiarism. The stolen fic was taken down shortly after and the account deleted. Goddamn thief. đĄ Â
12) Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes. Honestly, I canât remember which fic(s). But people have contacted me on AO3 and asked for permission to translate my stuff into Chinese. I have - of course - happily allowed them to. Itâs such an awesome compliment to get, I think! Â
13) Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yes, 2. âDemonizedâ and the fluffy Ficfacers prompt fic âThe Masks We Wearâ starring Sam and Dean taking their pranks a step too far. Basically, the brothers get angry with each other and they need to talk it out⊠No smut in this one, can you believe it?!! But that was kinda the prompt we received. The prompt was literally: âSam and fluffâ. Anyways, both fics are co-written with the lovely @palishere. You can find her AO3 here. đ
14) Whatâs your all time favorite ship? Wincest!!! Definitely. Gimme all the brotherfucking, please. No contest. And coming in on second place I guess thereâs Samifer â never paired consensually, though. I just love Lucifer messing with Samâs head and torturing him in all kinds of cruel ways.  Â
15) Whatâs a WIP that you want to finish but donât think you ever will? Oh, thatâs a mean question⊠I have a noncon WIP where Sam and Dean are in prison. I wrote a whole story outline, gathered my own little dictionary of prison slang, etc⊠But I never made it past page 10 or something. Sam was supposed to get jumped by a gang of inmates and then Dean was supposed to helplessly watch from the sideline, offering to trade places if theyâd just leave his little brother alone⊠And after that itâs all about a mix of healing and vengeance⊠But the story has been lying on the shelf for more than a year and I doubt Iâll ever continue it. Oh, wait! I almost forgot â I have a long Cherik WIP sequel to âTo Have and to Holdâ! Just checked, its wordcount is 18,729! Holy crapâŠ. What a waste, huh? But I honestly donât think Iâll ever finish it, because Iâm not into Cherik anymore. That ship has kinda sunk for meâŠ. So, now Iâm hyperfixating on Supernatural, yeah?  Â
16) What are your writing strengths? Description, I think. I just love details and setting the mood. I like to think Iâm pretty good at writing in English too even though it isnât my native language⊠I wish to be better and expand my vocabulary but Iâm doing okay nonetheless.
17) What are your writing weaknesses? Description, I think. Yes, you read correctly. I often describe things TOO much. Sometimes to the extent where the pacing gets so slowed down that I feel like the scene loses its âfeelâ. I donât know if itâs just in my head, but thatâs my major concern about my writing. That and my signature ambiguous endings, lol.
18) What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? Love it. It can be difficult to pull off, but if you get it right it can be magical. Just donât overdo it and make sure that the reader can follow. I donât think I have any fics online where I do it, but Iâm not a complete stranger to it either.
19) What was the first fandom you wrote for? Ack, my poor brain trying to go back to when I was frigginâ 13⊠You know how many years ago that was?! 25!!! Okay!? *Huffs*âŠ. Anyway, I THINK it mightâve been Keanu Reevesâ character in âJohnny Mnemonicâ. Or maybe David James Elliottâs character as Harmon Rabb in the early seasons of âJAGâ. I dunno. Either way this question makes me feel really old and I donât appreciate it. Donât @ me. đ
 Â
20) Whatâs your favorite fic youâve written? Thatâs probably a tie between âThe Orange Hourâ and âItâs Only Carnalâ. Theyâve both got nice pacing and thatâs my biggest challenge, I think. Also, I love the whole Morse code thing in âThe Orange Hourâ. I donât even know what happened or how I came up with it, but hey, I can surprise myself if I want to, I guess! And of course thereâs the smutty noncon and all of the hurt⊠So, those two fics are my personal faves. đ Â
Iâll tag @jackandthesoulmates, @pinkoptics, @palishere, @wrenseroticlibrary, @decadent-prince, @negans-lucille-tblr, @juinae and @impala-dreamer and everyone else who feels like doing it! Feel free to ignore, of course.Â

Hii! May I ask hcs with shinsou todoroki bakugou and kaminari with a korean s/o and she is able to speak lots of languages, please? I know korean, english, japanese and portuguese, for example! Thank you so much
reaction to fem!s/o who is multilingual
[a/n: I-oh my goodness thatâs so impressive!! Thank you for the request anon! sorry for the wait đŁhere you go! -yours truly, bunnyy ps. bro the only other language I speak is spanish...being multilingual seems awesome}
hitoshi shinsoÂ
â He would definitely ask you to âteachâ him a few phrases but has absolutely no intention of actually learning
â like he just wants to hear you speak as much of any language you can
â because of his quirk, I think he has like a thing for someone with a nice voice so he just loves to hear you talk
â heâd bother you to help him with his english homework A LOT, especially if youâre fluent because you have such a high grade in that class
â I think I take that first statement back, heâd definitely want to learn any phrases you want to teach him to help strengthen his quirk
â heâd learn a few cheesy phrases just to surprise you with them and catch you off guard
â heâd be a sucker for your native tongue though
â he loves hearing you talk to a relative on the phone because he gets to hear how your voice naturally gets a little deeper, the way the syllables drip off of your tongue like honey and the little sound effects that come with it
â there was a time when the two of you were on a date and a foreigner came up to you with hopeful eyes and asked if you had spoken any english, his eyes filled with pride as he watched you effortlessly give them directions or help them translate something
â as you waved at them and wished them luck, you felt his gaze on you
âToshi? What is it? Do I have something on my face?â you had slipped back into japanese so easily. You were confused when a small smile grew on his lips.
â âNah, I just have the most talented girlfriend. Thatâs all.â His words made you blush profusely. âI really am proud of you, you know that?â
â âOf course I know Toshi.â You wrapped your arms around his neck, his instinctively wrapping around your waist and pulled you closer. âWhatâs gotten into you?â
â âNothing, but I think there may be a problem.â You frowned at his words. âYouâve put me under your spell. Iâm so in love with you.â Your eyes widened as he confessed his love in your native tongue. Dialect and pronunciation were perfect.
â âWell, youâre not the only one because I love you too.â
â the two of you shared a kiss then and there, even if he wasnât a big fan of PDA
â he just had to kiss you or he might die
shoto todoroki
â transferring to UA and being a foreigner was weird
â everyone was drowning you in questions, asking about your quirk, why you moved, where you came from, it was just too much but you instantly noticed Todoroki
â not because he was quiet but while everyone (minus bakugou) was bombarding you with questions, he was unapologetically staring at you, his sharp bi-colored eyes sent shivers down your spine
â but instead of looking away, you stared back with the same intensity because he was strikingly handsome
â he thought the same about you, from the moment you walked into class and introduced yourself, he was entranced by your beauty
â he could tell that japanese was most definitely not your native language, he was impressed with how well you passed as a japanese native
â as time went on, he came to appreciate you as a person
â the way you held yourself to a certain standard without coming off as stuck up or your selfless nature when it came to your fellow classmates
â he remembers one time that he woke up at 2am to go get a glass of water when he saw you by the couch and he noticed the two slumped figures on both couches. Mina on one and Denki on the other
â you hadnât noticed hid so he watched as you carefully lifted Minaâs head and slipped a pillow under it before making sure she was covered properly with a blanket, doing the same with Kaminari before muttering something to yourself in another language and going back to your room
â he frowned, what did you say and what language was it in? shrugging, he got his water and went back to sleep
â surprise surprise, it was you that confessed to him halfway through the year
â he was surprised but confessed his feelings as well before insisting on taking you on a proper date with full intention to max out his dadâs credit card
â one saturday, the two of you were in your room studying when you got a phone call. You apologized before going to answer and his eyes widened when he heard you speak, it wasnât japanese
â he was enthralled by how it sounded spilling from your lips, the words were foreign to him but he couldnât help but listen in
â âWhat was that?â he asked once you hung up, you explained that it was your mom and that was your native tongue, you then explained to him the different languages you could speak in
â I think heâd only ask you to help him learn english and maybe your native tongue
â âWhy would you wanna learn that, Sho?â You asked as you were sat in his lap and brushed his bangs from his forehead
â âWell when I meet your parents, I would want to make a good first impression.â
â his words shocked you, he wasnât really one to joke about things like that
â âYou want to learn for when you meet my parents?â
â âWell of course I do but if you donât want me to meet them, then thatâs alright.â
â âYouâre so sweet Sho, of course Iâll teach you.â You peppered his face with kisses, enjoying the way his cheeks slowly turned pink
â âI think you missed a spot, princess?â
â âOh really, where?â He took you by surprise when he grabbed you chin softly between his fingers and tilted your head down.
â âRight here.â he planted a sweet kiss on your lips, smiling into the kiss as he felt the warmth of your hands on his cheeks
â your parents meet him and they love him
katsuki bakugou
â baby would be very confused when he hears you speak something other than japanese
â he heard you speak to All Might once in fluent english and he just stood there, eyes moving quickly between the two of you as he tried to keep up with what was going on
â heâd 100% get competitive and try to learn another language to 1-up you but it doesnât work and heâd get all pouty
â âWhy didnât you ask me to teach you something? You know I wouldnât mind.â
â he came up to you once and insulted you in portuguese, it was an accident though...he definitely learned that duolingo and google translate were definitely NOT good tools to learning a new language
â âSuki, why would you say that to me?â he frowned at the tears in your eyes
â âWait...what did I say?â
â âYou basically told me that my face was uglier than a rats ass.â he panicked even more when the tears rolled down your cheeks. He cupped your face and kissed the tears away
â âIâm sorry, I was trying to say that you are the most gorgeous woman Iâve met.â Youâre not really sure how he got that phrase but the guilt in his voice definitely told you that it wasnât on purpose so you forgave him...on a condition
â âIâll forgive you if you cuddle me for the rest of the day.â you had never seen this boy move so fast. He tackled you to the bed and wrapped you up on his arms
â during this cuddle time, heâd press kisses on whatever skin he could reach, murmuring an apology each time
â while you were in his arms, you taught him a phrase that he could easily say
â âYou got it? Or do you need me to say it again?â You asked as you looked up at him, he had a scowl of concentration creasing his forehead
â âI think Iâve got it...â He muttered. There was a small silence before he took a deep breath
â âY-You are sw-sweeter than h-honey...â
â âThere you go!â You smiled proudly, it was such a corny phrase and not one heâd ever say in japanese too
â âSo what did I just say?â
â âYou said I was sweeter than honey? Is that true Suki? Am I sweeter than honey?â
â âWell babe, why donât we find out?â He slyly brought you down for a kiss, lips dancing slowly and sensually against each otherâs
â âMmm you are sweeter than honey, so sweet itâs intoxicating.â His voice rumbled deeply against you as he brought you in for âanother taste.â
â definitely would ask you to teach him all the curse words so he could curse people out without them being able to understand
â 1000/10 a good idea because hearing him curse in something other than japanese was hot
denki kaminari
Ï you would definitely end up doing his english homework for his sometimes
Ï when he heard you and Momo speak in korean denki.exe stopped working
Ï he was completely obsessed with hearing you speak a foreign language
Ï heâs a very proud boyfriend, he would brag about you to ANYONE who would listen and even if they didnât want to...they did
Ï he loves it when you call him pet names in your native language
Ï heâd learn how to say silly things or lame jokes in your language when youâre having a bad day, the pronunciation was terrible but you still understood what he was trying to say and it would never fail to make you laugh
Ï he admired you so much, the way you selflessly went out of your way to help someone or to translate something for a classmate during english class, it made his heart thump in his chest
Ï heâd secretly enlist Momo to help him learn your native language
Ï bless that girl for having the patience because it took MONTHS for him to be semi fluent
Ï you noticed whrn you were talking to a family memeber on the phone, you had let him stay in the room because you thought he couldnât understand you but when you said something about how you wish you could punch Mineta in the throat he couldnât help but stifle a laugh
Ï you heard him but because he was looking at his phone, you thought he was just laughing at something on there
Ï you finally figured it out when he sent you a meme that was in your native language
Ï when you saw it, you snorted but the amusement quickly turned into confusion when you saw the profile name
Ï you made your way to Denkiâs room and you could hear him chuckling away on the other side of the door, you knocked before he said to come in and you frowned in confusion
Ï âDid you really just send that to me?â
Ï âYeah...why?â His smile dropped. âWas it not funny?â
Ï âIt was but how did you know it was?â
Ï âBecause I watched it? Geez baby, what kind of question is that?â he shrugged nonchalantly but that definitely made you more suspicious.
Ï âYou know, donât you?â You narrowed you eyes as you asked him in your mother tongue
Ï âI donât know, maybe I do...or maybe I donât?â He responded almost perfectly.
Ï you were completely shocked
Ï âWhat? Wh-when did you even-?â You couldnât even form a sentence. âWhy?â
Ï âI wanted to impress you, sunshine.â He responded flawlessly once again.
Ï âYouâre the best, Kami. You know that?â
Ï âYeah, I know but it definitely doesnât hurt to be reminded.â his goofy grin made your heart do somersaults
Ï âI love you Kami, youâre so silly.â You nuzzled your nose against his in an eskimo kiss
Ï âI love you too pretty girl, youâre just amazing.â
Ï i have a soft spot for this idiot :(

Yeloli Watch Party
Season 1, Episode 8: The Tears of Helen
English Translation
So for some reason this video is entirely without sound, except for the intro song. Weird! Fortunately it still had the Portuguese subtitles to translate from.
We start with Evelyn reflecting that âit was a good idea to get humans to help usâ, which confirms sheâs a non-human. Maybe her magic was just too powerful for Pandoraâs curse? Anyway, the doors to the store open; the cherry blossoms have led another child to the Yeloli Doll Store.
Oh my god, itâs Gary Oak Girl!
The girl demands the best, most expensive doll. Evelyn explains that all the dolls cost the same amount and opens the display case, inviting the girl (sorry, they donât say her name even ONCE in this episode) to see if she feels a connection with any of them.
The girl picks up a brunette doll, deciding she is the prettiest and best.
âHer name is Helen,â Evelyn says. âSheâs had a hard life.â You said her name was Catherine in an earlier episode but sure, Evelyn.
Evelyn asks the girl if sheâll give Helen lots of love and affection, to which the girl says no, absolutely not. "I don't want to take care of anyone. It's very boring. I never even wanted to have pets.â Cut to a scene of her neglecting her cat. Wow. Gary Oak would never.
Helen tries to subconsciously communicate to the girl that she shouldnât be so selfish; she, Helen, will be her friend and help her. Unfortunately the girl is not listening; she has just noticed a cut on Helenâs shoulder. A FLAW!!!
She tosses Helen onto the floor like garbage. Evelyn gently picks up Helen, ignoring the girl threatening to give her a bad Yelp review or whatever. Â
âHelen, my poor girl. I said she wasn't good. Why do you insist on wanting to help her?â Evelyn asks. Helen telepathically answers that she doesnât want to give up on anyone.
Meanwhile the girl decides sheâll pick another doll, but Evelyn refuses and makes her leave. Which is for the best because the other dolls look furious.
Evelyn puts Helen in the front window so sheâll be the first doll customers see. We see in a flashback that Queen Pandora almost blasted Evelyn as she was fleeing to Earth, and Helen swooped in to save her. That was when Helen got her scar, which carried over to doll form.Â
âDon't hide your scar,â Evelyn says. âI know you will find a master who will accept your imperfections and treat you like everyone else.â
We cut back to the selfish girl, leaving with her posse. She walks by a boy with albinism, giggles to her friends that heâs a freak, and breaks his sunglasses. On accident. But the kind of accident where the person who did it isnât sorry.
The albino boy, Francis, wonders if he will ever find acceptance as we see flashbacks of people being really shitty to him. His eyes hurt from the sun, so he ducks into the alley leading to the doll shop.
By the time he reaches the doll shop itâs night, which confuses him. Must be magic! Heâs impressed with Helen--but notes she has a scar. âA doll thatâs not perfect?â
Helen sadly readies herself for another rejection, wistfully thinking of how Peacock and Loli were picked, but not her. (Helen, you specifically rejected Shelly, remember how you roasted her? But anyway!)
Poor Francis is so lonely that he starts pouring out his troubles to a doll.  âBecause I was born without melanin, Iâm very sensitive to the sun. My vision isnât good either. And Iâll be blind in my left eye by the time Iâm eighteen. Iâm a laughingstock, arenât I?â Dang, poor kid.
If the doll were his, Francis says, he would love her forever despite her scar. He makes up his mind to buy Helen.
But alas, itâs night--the store is closed! Francis sadly says itâs fate, that a laughingstock like him doesnât deserve something so beautiful. He starts to walk away. And Helenâs like âNO. THAT KID IS MY CHOSEN OWNER.â
And she summons up all her determination and magic and busts right through the window.
She catches up to Francis and explains sheâs a living doll, etc, which he takes in stride. But he repeats that heâs a freak and asks if she really wants to go with him. Yes, she does. So they enact the Yeloli Contract. Helen also tells him heâs a Child of the Moon, whatever that means.
Helen leaves with Francis, leaving the window shattered, but Evelyn knows what happened because of her magic book. She worries about Helen, wondering if she can trust this unvetted boy. So she decides to do the tried and true test of dressing up like Pandora to scare the two of them. But before she can head out--Pandora shows up in her mirror to mock her!!
Wait a second, isnât that exactly how the last episode ended?

Undo my ESC '21 (semi-final two)
Good afternoon folks, and welcome to the second part of Undo my ESC â my annual quest to make the yearâs Eurovision better (at least, for me xD) by making a feasible change in each country â it could be something as small as altering a lyric or a staging detail, or as big as a different artist entirely winning the NF. Semi-final one was here so let's jump straight into SF2!
đžđČ San Marino: We're thrown into the deep end here with a fan fav that doesn't do at all for me. I'm one of maybe 5 people on the planet who prefers Freaky by far, I guess? I'm happy for Senhit to be getting so much love and for the diminutive serene republic to finally have a shot at a good result - but I'm not so keen on the way it's been done. There's a bit of cognitive dissonance for me because my favourite thing about Adrenalina is Flo Rida's rap, but I don't like the idea of bringing in famed American artists like "ringers" to elevate a song above one with "only" local talent. I would be so tempted to give the rap part to local artist IROL instead to spit some hot bars in Italian.
đȘđȘ Estonia: I had hope this year, I really did, for my era of absolutely adoring Estonia at ESC to be revived after 4 painful years. There were so many good songs at this year's Eesti Laul, like those of Ivo Linna, Egert, Gram of fun, Heleza - but ultimately, my huge favourite was, as expected, JĂŒri Pootsmann. Anyone who followed this blog back in 2016 knows how much I adore JĂŒri and was desperate to see him get a redemption arc at ESC itself. Magus melanhoolia was one of the best songs of the season for me and one of the best stagings. As much as I prefer '20 artists to get their shot in '21, problematic Uku with his toxic ex vibes song will have to step aside and let the JĂŒri renaissance happen here.
đšđż Czechia: I really dig Benny Cristo - he has personality, presence and his own enjoyable style. At first I was kinda disappointed with Omaga because I was expecting something more in the vein of Kemama, with more pronounced Afrobeat influences. But it has grown on me a lot too. My change? Add more Czech than just one blink-and-you-miss-it line, mate! (Article continues below)
đŹđ· Greece: I see this being talked up as potential televote top 3 and I just don't get it. Maybe it's the way the chorus rhymes dance with itself three times (and uses the term rockin' romance unironically); maybe it's the way that there are better 80s-inspired songs both in ESC and many fallen tributes in the NF season... it just leaves me cold. I actually preferred Supergirl and my change would be for Stefania to bring something with some actual Greek flair.
đŠđč Austria: Iâll echo what I said last year about Ăsterreich â how did they go from Conchita to a guy who wished he wouldnât have gay kids like this? I find both of this guy's songs insipid in different ways and I would invite PĂŠnda back instead to avenge her getting robbed with the beautiful Limits. Or give a second shot at glory to the incredible CesĂĄr!
đ”đ± Poland: Unpopular opinion, but I absolutely love The Ride, and I feel bad for Alicja, but I much prefer it to Empires. What started as an ironic fondness for RafaĆ's cringy uncle vibes ended up being genuine appreciation - it's one of the few 80s-inspired songs that sound like they actually could have come out of that decade rather than like modern pastiches. And Raf actually does have an awkward charisma. My change - insert some Polish! Poland does so well with natural sounding bilingual efforts in JESC, they should bring it to the main contest too!
đČđ© Moldova: I was lowkey prepared to be disappointed by Moldova - I actually enjoyed Prison a lot and the news that they were going in a completely different direction didn't sit so well with me. And yet, I also love Sugar. Natalia's power! My changes: get rid of that weird scene with literally egg on her face - too on the nose for me. And incorporate a bit of the stellar Russian translation, Tuz bubi, because I'm always going to be advocating for more linguistic diversity xD
đźđž Iceland: DaĂ°i Freyr can literally do no wrong with me. Whilst it doesn't have the same intense extra-fandom hype that Think about things did, I think I like Ten years even more. Nothing to change here.
đ·đž Serbia: It's no secret that Hurricane were far from my favourites at Beovizija 20, and that I find this a downgrade for Sanja compared to her powerful '16 song. And yet... Hasta la vista grew on me a lot, and so has Loco loco. It's something that is definitely scratching an itch at this year's ESC and the burst of anarchic energy it'll provide will be amazing. I am seriously tempted to change to the acoustic version, though, which has all the attitude of the original but is more beautiful for me and lets the girls' voices shine more.
đŹđȘ Georgia: Georgia keeps serving acquired tastes, and as a patron saint of marginal genres and I love them for that. This year, they've gone for something that even many fans of Tornike find hard to swallow - gone is the roaring rock of last year, replaced with a much more contemplative, soft effort that reminds me a little of Lou Reed. I enjoy both songs, but I can't deny preferring 2020. At the same time, I admire the chutzpah required to send something so different. I just wish there could be a moment to properly showcase T's powerhouse vocals.
đŠđ± Albania: It was an odd Festival i kĂ«ngĂ«s this year, outdoors in the freezing cold and without the orchestra that makes the songs soar so much more for me. Karma is a perfectly respectable winner, albeit one that lacks the immediacy and rawness of Shaj, Ktheju tokĂ«s and Mall. In my ideal alternate reĂ€lity, Arilena Ara would have been invited back. She'd bring a song as beautiful as Shaj - and not do a revamp into English that removes its edge this time.
đ”đč Portugal: 2015-2020 was a full on Portugal stan era for me. I want to believe that this year is an aberration and that in 2022, our lusitanian neighbours will produce the goods once again. Because ending a colossal streak of not sending songs that don't include Portuguese for this? I am baffled. I wanted the anthemic Joana do mar, produced beautifully by LuĂsa Sobral, or the timeless ContramĂŁo, which sounds like it escaped a Nouvelle Vague soundtrack. Saudade, Por um triz or a number of others would have been grand too.
đ§đŹ Bulgaria: I wasn't expecting much from Bulgaria - I really didn't and don't like TGS and the majority of songs in Victoria's NF-but-not-really aren't my cup of tea. I was happy she got her second chance, but resigned to not liking the song much that would get picked. And then, my fav, which was last in many community ratings, ended up being her pick. I adore GUIGO and believe it has the possibility to do very, very well at Rotterdam and be one of the 'moments' of the evening.
đ«đź Finland: CRIMINAL how YLE treated Aksel - it felt like he wasn't the defending champion, and that Erika Vikman had won the previous year. They also - I believe, deliberately - split his vote by making his just one of a number of ballads, so of course what stood out most were the two decidedly non-ballady songs. Finland only two years ago had a single-artist UMK. They could and should have brought it back for Aksel. I'd hope Hurt would win it, because that song is stunning.
đ±đ» Latvia: I was, and am, delighted that Latvia stuck with Samanta Tina. The lady lives and breathes ESC, even wrote a university thesis about it, and if she tried so many times, finally won and then DIDN'T get to go to ESC, I would have gone to LTV headquarters personally to remonstrate. I really like both her songs. The moon is rising is poised, powerful and like nothing else this year. The only thing I'd change is adding some Latvian because it's a gorgeous language and we've been waiting for ages to hear it again.
đšđ Switzerland: Gjon's song is once again not really my cup of tea, or tears - but I enjoy it better than last year's and I'm glad he's back. Highkey wish it did include Albanian or Romansch like confused commenters last year thought it did.
đ©đ° Denmark: There is literally no excuse for Denmark's treatment of Ben & Tan. I'm not even a big fan of their music at all, out to not even allow them to compete in DMGP to defend their win with Iron heart? Even though there are songs that competed in DMGP that I prefer a lot, most notably StĂ„r lige her, I would probably have let them have a proper second chance.
And the automatic qualifiers voting in this semi -
đ«đ· France: For me, France had an absolutely enthralling, sincere, perfectly Gallic entry that hit me so hard in the feels. And whilst I respect VoilĂ , no, that wasn't it. It was Pourvu qu'on m'aime, easily one of the best songs I heard all year inside NFs or out. I find VoilĂ a little too mannered and affected, whilst PQM is a shot straight from Juliette's heart into mine. In my dream, it'd have won CVQD and be receiving the same love that VoilĂ is right now.
đȘđž Spain: Whilst it is getting next to no love in the fandom and seems quite forgotten, I find Voy a quedarme one of the best songs sent from this country in several years - and I say that having preferred Memoria. I am proud of Blas and love that he had a hand in writing this song. My change? He said recently that the staging in Rotterdam won't be inspired by the poignant music video despite wanting it to be - I would incorporate elements from it in the live.
đŹđ§ United Kingdom: Frankly, I think almost all the Big 5+1 brought it this year, with the notable exception of Germany. Embers is the banger that I never thought was coming from James Newman, and it's been one of the biggest earworms of the season. I wouldn't change anything about it - I'd just ensure that the staging replicated the energy of the video as much as possible!
