STOPPPPPPPPP 😭 i thought that was fucking Buried in my ao3 dfgkjs. it was supposed to be a joke ("i'll write among us fanfic. don't test me") and then i. did it. and then it turned into five thousand words and uh. that brings us here. skjdgfh. it's been two Full Years since i posted that i can't believe you would bring that up 😭

also "why is it so good". cause i'm a talented writer with an eye for dramatic tension obvi 🙄 i can't believe you would think that i would go less than absolutely Ham for a joke fic. writing among us fanfic might be cringe but i will stand by the final product as something i'm relatively proud of ✊

#this is SO fucking funny there was no way i could've expected to see this in my inbox #i totally forgot ab that bitch! again it has been Over Two Years haha #no fr all the comments on that fic are so funny cause every single one of them goes 'why was this actually good??????'#my brother in christ it certainly was not intended to be 😭#turns out it is just fairly easy to write a good murder mystery with a pre-established conceit and line of events #also i will confess to going a little crazy over the worldbuilding possibilities for the among us universe #started by going into the ao3 tag for it as a joke. will say that there was a Lot of disgusting porn.#but there was one rlly good piece exploring the possibilities of the imposters being like... parasites....#and then you get into what happens when you're taken over by something that wears your body and tries to kill your friends.#like what do the aliens want? how do they get there in the first place?#can you resist them when they try to take your body? can you feel yourself becoming someone else?#what is it like to watch someone you know and love become something else entirely?#scifi is a really fantastic genre to explore the implications of far past the source media and unfortunately amogus fits into that #like if you take it Too seriously. opposite energy of the like. crewmates as animals. amogus creature stuff. it gets really cool #anyway. ummmm kdfjghsdkfj #ask
