This is something of a continuation to this post, but Cherri's "bravey test" isn't necessarily all that voluntary nor involuntary. I mean, it's true that most people end up participating in it because Cherri made a show of boasting how "[it] is a fool-proof way to weed out liars" after framing some poor sod for stealing something they hadn't, but he also just lies to people that it's for the sake of impressing someone or other they got a crush on, which is objectively a bigger lie than the stealing
