I have learned that falling asleep with music while thinking about AUs is a great way to have the weirdest character backstories be made.

That being said, would the Agency hire people from their High Priority Targets list if they realized the person would do great as an agent, they just need a 'push' in the right direction?

I ask this because of the song inspired dream i had.

Might talk about the dream in another ask if you're interested since it kinda ties into "High priority target isnt against us, but with us?" type of thing.

And, honestly? That kind of recruitment definitely isn't unheard of. (Given discord agentsona backstory shenanigans, apparently most of their workforce was recruited after directly landing a hit on the agency itself - so they went "well, ouch. now let us pay you to prevent more yous from happening"). Sometimes it's simply more efficient - if an ordeal can be avoided, why not? Even if it's more trouble to convince them than neutralize their work/ their presence for whatever mission they need free of their meddling, if there could be a profit in the future, why not try?
