I’ve been listening to At All Costs from Wish on repeat for some reason. And because the original was supposed to be a romance song, my brain is possessed and I’m like “Ooh Happy End Narilamb duet”. Because it’s about the utter devotion, and realizing the person alongside you may just be the one who understands you. Despite everything. And that you’d do anything for them to keep them safe.

But my ideal Narilamb has to work through their egos, resentment, and thirst for power before any sugary sweetness happens into immortal love—
