A The Dragon Prince AU but Crownguards and only Crownguards wear blindfolds.

With Soren being the youngest Crownguard in history, he was also the youngest one to wear a blindfold because he refused to wait until he was 17/18 to have to wear one. Even before before becoming one, Soren would train while wearing a blindfold so he'd be used to fighting blind.

Why do Crownguards wear blindfolds? Simple, in the past, a king was betrayed by a Crownguard so his heir made it a rule that all Crownguards must wear one. Why don't the regular guards wear blindfolds? They aren't dangerous, they aren't near the king or royal family as much as Crownguards are.

So wearing a blindfold shows that the Crownguards are willing to do anything for the king. After all, they have to listen to every single thing he says if they wish to have a taste of 'sight'. But Harrow wanted to change this, he wanted Soren to be the first Crownguard to not have to wear a blindfold but it didn't go that way.

It wasn't the king who puts the blindfold on but the High Priestess. So Opeli was the one to put the blindfold on Soren once Harrow made him Crownguard. Making Harrows plan go down the drain because if he takes off the blindfold then Soren would have his Crownguard status taken. After all, the blindfold is what separates Crownguards from regular guards.

To say elves and other Kingdoms are confused by this would be an understatement.

Okay okay so ik its a common hc of the ninja (specifically Zane and Kai) having lower/higher body temp due to their elements, but what if it was the opposite?

As in say Kai for example had a cooler body temperature to try combat/balance out with his element

I mean, I can see why they didn't redesign half the cast to have face tattoos, but IMAGINE the possibilities!

The immediate audience turn about them putting them in much more thematically appropriate underdog status. Zuzu seeing her friends again and they all have prison tattoos. Which characters would choose to cover them up. Yuya getting marked by the dimensions he visits, of finally coming home and he is permanently changed by the places he's been, both inside and out.
