vesper + goro & jackie, fenix + delamain & rogue, and daniel + judy & misty please >:^)
vesper + goro. i think there's respect between them and maybe the slightest hint of a possible friendship that didn't have enough time to get developed. they both needed some time to trust the other for obvious reasons lmao but they end up in a quite successful partnership. but nothing more than that. they're both grateful to the other for saving each other's life and if goro would ever show up to ask for vesper's help she would gladly aid him :]
vesper + jackie. hehe ohoh..i think jackie was family for vesper. i guess the fact mama welles was so welcoming helped too. vesper never had a normal family life and didn't have parents for that long as well so every time anyone treats her even ONCE as a daughter/part of the family she turns a 15 y/o kid all over again. they complete each other, vesper is way more serious and responsible (and maybe a bit cold) which helps especially on jobs, while jackie is the one that reminds her to take life a tiny bit less seriously and that they should have fun too. they're both stubborn and hot-headed tho so that leads to them finding trouble 70% of times dksjfkfd. jackie was a confidant and someone she could count on, probably the only one friend she had when they first met, and losing him was incredibly hard
fenix + delamain. the thought makes me die idk jfdhfkjsdfn. fenix is the type of guy that would go 'do we really trust an AI to drive us around? DO WE REALLY NEED THIS?'. he'd prefer to drive his own car than let him do that for him. the distrust gets even worse when he hears about all the other delamin AIs causing mayhem around the city, he's can't stop saying 'I TOLD YOU SO' every 5 minutes. fenix doesn't trust delamain at all but he thinks that he can be..'funny' in a uncanny way, he won't admit this tho
fenix + rogue. OH BOY. these two can't stay in the same room alone or they'll start throwing hands. the dislike is mutual, fenix hates her bc of vesper ofc, he won't say it but it's clear..he has no other reason to hate someone he just met and that is now dating his ex. pure coincidence right? rogue hates him in return bc he's a complete asshole towards her every. single. time. little insults, little sarcastic comments, fenix can't shut tf up when rogue is around. they nearly fought once, rogue gave him a black eye (and then vesper broke his nose too...) bc she simply was so tired of hearing him talk shit. it doesn't get better AT ALL when vesper gets back with fenix for..obvious reasons. these two would kill each other if they could lmao
daniel + judy. these two get so well together, more than what vesper and judy have. they were coworkers once, kind of, daniel worked with mateo at lizzie's bar for a while so he had various chances to meet judy and talk with her. they are quite similar, both care about their indipendence and they both can't keep their mouth shut when someone is bothering them/doing smth they don't approve. they're good friends and judy is a regular client of daniel and nader's tattoo shop!!
daniel + misty. it was almost unlikely that they could become friends and yet. it happened. they would hang out together while vesper would go out with jackie and he would get sooo bored to stay all alone at home. daniel's first reaction when talking with misty was "she weird. a lot" which didn't stop him from talking with her tho. daniel is the kind of person that is attracted to everything he finds 'weird' or unsual, it's his curiosity probably. he doesn't believe in all the aura and spirit things misty usually talks about but he lets her talk anyway, he likes to listen to her talk so when he needs to relax he goes to misty. daniel lets her read tarots to him or do some 'aura cleansing' stuff while he paints her nails or she does the same to him. daniel is like a little brother to misty and she truly needed the company after jackie died, plus they both have such a sweet heart and know so much kindness that they would offer to each other and i love that for them

hi i haven't watched moon knight but i've watched video essays on it so i know a bit, who's ur favorite character and what are ur headcanons for them?
Ok apologies in advance bc im super dizzy writing this :D but Ohhh my god absolutely its Jake Lockley. Comics and show. Ok well in the show he doesnt have much screentime BUT it doesn't mean theres not subtle jake moments and like teases to him existing. I have assloads of jake hcs (he likes cats, hes fond of sharks, and astronomy, and he wears gloves all the time to help with his sensory issues) but i think he has soooo many roles in the MK sys! Hes a gatekeeper, a memory/trauma holder, a physical protector (occasionally dabbles in emotional protecting, like a romantic/sexual protector!) I think he frequently goes nonverbal (autism creature♡)!! I think hes a Guardian too, but in the case of rangling Khonshu (or any other "persecutor type") ! I have so many hcs abt what roles he fills and the extent of them 🧍 i love intersys relations♡♡ he has little rituals that he takes on when he gets time to front. He enjoys a nice cup of coffee at Genas diner, and he will occasionally smoke a cigarette or two despite stevens protests.(Genas been trying to get him to quit, started giving him lollipops and hard candies cause the smoking is probably from some oral fixation.)
Hes really social! But hes still got the anxiety that comes with being social. He has to be for his taxi driving anyways! I feel like hes got a social mask to interact with people he drives around n stuff, when he needs info, etc. But he doesnt like to meet new people? Like, he has friends already, and the idea of making connections is nerve wracking (thats Stevens job, hes good at external connections! Esp comic steven, since he literally makes all their friends for the most part. Like he and jake make the friends and marc is stubborn♡)
[Tw for trauma ment, abuse, etc! Skip to the next colored line for not that :D]
Jake insys looks different than the body out of sys sometimes too! He holds a physical manifestation of previous injuries/trauma. He and Marc share certain scars or marks from their merc/military days, and in the case of the show, from physical trauma growing up with their mom. Steven tends not to have those marks/scars! Marc definitely has some, but not to the extent as Jake. Since jake is a gatekeeper/memory holder, he would have more scars or marks representing certain memories or traumas that they experienced, even if Marc doesnt, bc Marc doesnt get all the memories. Steven gets like None at all, so he wouldnt really have those markings. Jake might carry some chronic pain stuff (symptom holder) too? Speaking from experience, abuse like that can lead to nerve damage/chronic pain, so it would make sense he would experience it.
[ Ok, end of tw section]
I think Jakes music taste varies too! He usually just listens to the radio in his cab, so he doesnt have a Set Big Preference. He does love Luis Miguel tho. Steven likes reading ,but im sure he enjoys music! Probably nothing too Hardcore, softer music, or maybe even oldies. I think Marc would like music like Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, def leppard, acdc, hozier, Imagine dragons, Muse idk i have lists and playlists but thats not the point here. Jake likes Doja Cat.
He also loves cats just in general, black cats especially. Marc prefers dogs, and Steven (obviously) likes his fish!
Hes the shortest insys! God theres this funny art thing of the mk boys going Jake why are u so small, and jake replies with some shit about being like Wolverine. I think by @bicatperson ?? AS I WAS WRITING THIS I FOUND IT. Here.
EDIT: link didnt work here it is again hopefully?
Im trying to think of more things uhm. He ALWAYS tips Gena extra at the diner (They are sweet, theyre like two highschool sweethearts to me. She cares about his well being and he loves her boys like his own. ) speaking of, jake is So good with kids. Btw. I feel like hed definitely be a little caretaker !! He also loves Diatrice and calls her Dia or dee,or didi :) i also hate all the shit abt her not being "his kid" which just isnt fucking true. Sorry im not a fan of marlene for that shit.
Anyways. Jake is crucial to the mk sys in any universe in anyway possible in my brain ok. Hes kind and strong and doesnt shy from a fight. Hes wreckless at times but hes good at figuring things out. Hes got those streetsmarts. Hes also in love with his lawyer Matt Murdock.

been thinking about the importance of gaimon, especially in light of sanji. and how this affects luffy, and events leading up to arlong park.
when baratie crew say to luffy, take sanji with you, luffy says no. never mind that luffy had already had his mind set on sanji being his cook. he says to the crew, instead, i need to hear this from sanji himself. you can't just hand him to me like this. this needs to be his decision.
like i feel like luffy instinctively knows people's hearts, in a way? he believes in people's determination in their dreams, and i think he wants people alongside him so he remains motivated for his own. he respects that conviction. he wants this person to travel with him, bc their dream and his dream can align, if it's mutually beneficial in trying to explore the world.
but still, he's pretty selective about how he chooses his crew. even tho luffy offers it to both gaimon and usopp. like sometimes i want to be 'luffy considers this person interesting, so he wants them to be part of his crew'.
kindness is not always the motivating factor for how he chooses a crewmate, but it is for how he picked zoro, sanji and usopp. he witnesses their acts of kindness, and that seals it for him. for nami, the second he finds out she's a navigator, he wants her to be part of his crew.
and i just. it's interesting that he doesn't really listen to zoro and nami's refusals -- bc i think he senses that their conviction isn't strong enough. there's no real reason why they should refuse, in some sense? like, the way that they protest (initially), it just doesn't seem that good? they're just protesting bc they're stubborn, but guess what, luffy is even more stubborn.
but the fact is, maybe, that nami and zoro don't really have a reason to refuse, other than they don't want to do it. and that's not good enough for luffy. they have no real reason why they shouldn't/don't want to go with luffy. there's no reason why they can't achieve their goal alongside luffy.
with gaimon, he's touched by the offer, but he refuses bc he wants to be the guardian of an island he's loved for 20 years. that's his new dream, and luffy respects that.
if sanji had refused, bc of his debt to zeff, i kind of wonder if luffy would have let sanji be?
of course, what happens is that the baratie crew try to drive him off anyway, bc they're like. come on sanji, explore the world. find the all blue. be an even greater cook.
but sanji's guilt to zeff is what keeps him on, and want to stay by zeff's side, until zeff himself is like. no, it's fine, go. go! and sanji is thankful for the opportunity, but also thankful to zeff, for everything up to this moment.
and then comes nami, in the arlong park arc. and luffy is adamant that she's still part of his crew. and she denies this, says that she's been working for arlong this whole time, that everything that happened on the going merry was a lie, bc she only wanted to achieve her goals.
(never mind that she did cry, as she sailed away from them in baratie, saying she'd hope they'd meet again, after she was done with arlong)
i just think. luffy can instinctively perceive this dishonesty -- tho that's not quite the right word. the conflict, the deception. arlong is an obstacle, but the fact is, if it wasn't for arlong, nami would still be part of the crew. she genuinely wants to be a strawhat, it's just. her history with arlong prevents this.
so nami pushes luffy away, but the thing is, it's just laced with desperation, she want him safe, she doesn't want him hurt. but it's also, not the truth -- she wants coco village to be saved, and she's at her wit's end, and she can't really voice this until she's at her lowest. bc she thought that she, nami, could do it singlehanded, bc she thought that arlong wouldn't break a promise, wouldn't imprison her like this, until she realizes that arlong never intended to free her.
like it's great that luffy really doesn't interfere until nami asks for help herself, bc he knows her heart, and he knows his crew's heart, and that's why he gives nami his strawhat. she is his strawhat crewmate.
and luffy gets that. if it wasn't for arlong, nami would be travelling alongside him. so he defeats arlong, frees the village, and now nami has no real reason to not continue travelling with the strawhats.
i just think. luffy understand's people's convictions -- he was uncertain with nami's conviction when he first meets her, alongside buggy -- and sometimes, luffy realizes that he has to defeat people, and destroy those convictions.
and gaimon is important, as is koby, and why luffy never offers koby a place in his crew -- bc koby wants more than anything to be a marine -- because luffy likes and respects dreams, and he admires that determination and how people achieve it more than anything else. sure, koby wants to be a marine, but why should that stop him and luffy from being friends?
it's just interesting that gaimon is such a minor character, doesn't really have a dream in the scope of usopp or luffy, but he finds a new dream anyway: to protect this island that he is now the guardian of, and luffy doesn't try to sway him. he hears the conviction, feels that determination, and just lets the offer go, accepts the refusal.
anyway, i get why gaimon is cut from the live action, but i think it's an important moment for luffy's characterization in the manga. and i do want to mull over this some more when i meet jimbei, tbh?

Anon asked: What would be the TG Boys' reaction to you saying "I love you" for the first time?
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Prompt
Requests are open
Rules
Warning:
*certain words have been censored for Tumblr guidelines.
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Ken:
He is happy, smiling even.
not a huge smile but its there and he really likes that you feel the same.
It was probably when you two were both in bed relaxing.
And the mood was right and there were little words exchanged but it was right.
Hide:
He'd make such a big deal over it.
and he'd gush like a fangirl.
bc he loves being dramatic.
He'd be so smug too and may tell his friends bc he's excited.
Literally, he was just waiting for you to say it back and now he is relieved that you feel the same.
Ayato:
He takes forever to say it but you'd both end up saying it when you got into a heated argument.
I think he'd be the first to say it bc he's a hot head and doesn't shut his mouth so there goes his secret.
Of course, that's what younger Ayato does.
Older Ayato might say it in a crucial moment but its again, probably when you two are fighting.
Yomo:
He was shocked.
It might make him blush, lol.
I feel like Ren can never get the words out so it doesn't surprise me if she would be the first to tell him instead.
But like seriously if you told him while he's drinking coffee he'd choke on it. 😂
He would eventually admit tho.
He just takes forever, but if you say it, it makes it easier for him to open up.
Although if you're not the type to say it first then it will be a while till you cross this bridge.
Uta:
f*cking shocked, to get a better representation here's a little drabble I wrote sometime back that I cur$e myself for.
so even though he never shows much emotion, but here he does cause he couldn't believe it.
I believe that she might be the first to say it considering that he doesn't understand how love works.
And idk I think he'd be touched especially cause for him to be in a relationship its a lot and let alone have one lead up into love.
So its a big thing.
I do see that if he's liked the girl for a long time and he liked her first he'll confess first. But he wouldn't understand/take it seriously until you're response meets his and then things change for him.
He'll joke about it later on and use it against you to just make you embarrassed.
"You confessed first~"
"Whatever, you're the clingy one!"
Furuta:
He throws the phrase around a lot to you as a tea$e.
especially if you're his play-thing and nothing more.
but if your his gf and he really cares, he likes hearing it.
And would totally tea$e for it.
"Say it again, princess~"
He will honestly just tell you it right back before giving you a k!ss.
Takizawa (ghoul):
Honestly, you two would like never say it to each other bc Taki has such a tough exterior and almost never reverts to emotions. I mean it's as I've said before you're the bright one and he's quiet salty.
But yeah you too would be very stubborn, but its not surprising if his girl says it first.
although if she's as stubborn as him he will say it first.
Maybe during your fight or after a very special vacation with tends of sen$ual moments.
Whatever the case he loves your response but is shocked.
He will shower you with love not long after though.

Dora + Daredevil's ghost after he dies tragically? 👀
(also, Vanja + Hanako b/c i love trainwrecks)
send me an OC + an alternate love interest for them!
vanja radovic + hanako arasaka:
i'm gonna do this one first bc anon i think u severely underestimated how bad my daredevil brainworms are atm shjsdjkdsjk.
so alright! there's no way vanja and hanako would work well together; vanja just hates arasaka so much for kicking her to the curb and essentially ruining her life like they did, after she worked so hard to claw her way out of the streets. i think also she doesn't think too highly of hanako as a person; thinks she's sorta cowardly, for being so determined not to fight her brother in the beginning, and also kind of expects hanako to stab her in the back as soon as it's convenient for her, since that's the corpo way. on hanako's end i don't think she's too fond of vanja either; she's a catty little shit-talker, and honestly i think hanako thinks she's a little... jumped up, shall we say??? this streetkid trash playing at being a corpo, making life inconvenient for her. maybe some hate sex is on the cards tho??? in which case good for them tbqh
dora penrose + (dead) matt murdock:
the way thinking abt this has consumed my entire day oh my god. alright. OK. so. obviously there's that period post-defenders where everyone thinks matt's dead (and dora kinda goes off the deep end trying to resurrect him, because if the hand can do it, why the fuck can't she?), so that'd probably be the most convenient way to go about killing him off, but i have...... another option.
alright, so. say matt gets his ass kicked at the end of season 1 in the kinda way there isn't any coming back from. say fisk gets in a lucky shot or one of his henchmen fires at him, and matt goes down like a pile of bricks. angry and grieving, foggy makes sure fisk goes away for it, but that doesn't bring matt back, and without daredevil, the streets of hell's kitchen are starting to look a little darker now. enter: the mystic, hell's kitchen's resident medium slash avenging angel, who's getting a little sick of all the ghosts popping up in her city.
matt obviously sticks around haunting the place bc he's incapable of letting new york go, but he can't exactly do his whole..... beating bad guys up thing, being dead and all. but dora can do that for him. idk how exactly they'd meet but probably it would be while she was clearing out some criminal hideout or something, and the moment it becomes clear that she can see him, all bets are off. he starts calling out warnings to her whenever there's someone coming up to fight her that she hasn't noticed, and by the end she's like ok. thanks, dead guy. arent u the devil of hell's kitchen, though??
after that, he kinda starts hanging around her a lot, much to her displeasure, bc there's rly not all that much to do when you're dead, and even if he'd never admit it, he's lonely. he can't figure out why he's still around (is this purgatory? is this his punishment?) but dora at least can see him, maybe answer a few of his questions, even if she's pretty reluctant about it. she mostly ignores him in the beginning, bc she has a life, unlike some people, and she's trying to juggle that and her nighttime activities. matt's stubborn, though, and he has literally all of eternity to bother her, so eventually she caves n starts talking to him. slowly at first, making small talk w him while she makes her morning coffee or bitching to him under her breath about her boss, but eventually, they start having actual conversations. and he irritates her and she irritates him but she's all that he has, and he's the only person who could even come close to understanding her life now that she's a vigilante, so a bond forms between them.
she starts trying to help him figure out how to move on; they spend a lot of nights she's on patrol or fighting tossing ideas back and forth as to what his unfinished business is. he thinks maybe it's something to do w foggy and the argument they had abt daredevil, so dora goes outta her way to get in contact w him, but she can’t exactly explain what’s going on, unless she wants to out herself as the mystic. foggy is very suspicious about this strange lady who he once catches muttering to the air angrily, n he’s not happy abt her intruding on his life.
n also i think as they start making more progress in their quest to help matt move on, dora realises that she doesn’t want him to go? n actually she quite likes having someone around who knows everything abt her n talks to her n makes her feel less lonely?? and on matt’s end he’s a bit scared about the idea of moving on bc he doesn’t know what the afterlife holds for him n genuinely thinks he might end up going to hell for what he’s done, plus he’s starting to really like dora n her dry humour n the way she understands what’s going on w him, so they both kind of. dance around the revelation that they might be more than friends
idk maybe she starts trying to get into resurrection for him the way she does in my canon??? WHO KNOWS HOW THIS WOULD END i just like thinkin bout it <3333 thank u for this question anon pls feel free to kiss me on the mouth

I legit don't get how Nina only remembers azazel when he's right in front of her or doesn't even think about the fact that he's angry with her after he stormed away. I kinda just want him to be mad at her forever. Seven or eight episodes ago I thought Nina would have tons of development she would go through. I started strong with azanina a few months ago but that's not the same Nina I was expecting. I want azazel to dump her ass so she realizes how limited her perception is. Too lil too late :)
Tumblr media
regarding azazel + nina relationship tho,
I do think it’s always been rather one-sided on both of their parts. Er how to say this, like ships in the night thing, passing each other without actually getting through to each other? augh I wish I was better with words :(
but basically, azanina baiting in ep 1-4 (yes, the baiting actually did happen) and nina’s lack of inconsistent characterization aside, I always feel the show always tries to put nina in an outsider’s position for azazel. and this is rather consistent until ep18.
the rundown, from azazel’s perspective:
ep1:
she’s the strong but crazy girl chasing after him; he mistakes her for mugaro but doesn’t drop her; rather than him caring about her, this is more about him doing kind things without thinking, just like when he saved favaro in ep12 genesis even tho he told favaro he didn’t know why he did it.
ep2:
tells mugaro she’d be valuable to their (Demons) cause; tries to recruit her; failed and scared her instead; you can make a case here that his tsundere-ness his pride gets in the way and makes him unable to directly ask for help; here, he basically commands nina to fight for something that nina herself doesn’t understand nor care. here, he comes off as treating her like a tool to be used.
ep3:
he doesn’t mention nina at all, doesn’t seek her help and tries to do things on his own (+ mugaro). the fact he doesn’t seek nina again tells me that he sees nina is unmoved by him in ep2, and he actually gives up on her and forgets her. it means in ep2, he actually still sees her a being with a mind of her own, and him commanding her instead of asking for her help is actually only bcs he’s a tsundere he wants to preserve whatever left of his shattered pride, and not bcs he thinks he’s better than her.
ep4:
for whatever reason she finds him and he tries to tell her to take mugaro and go; she refuses; they fall, and he puts his arms around her not necessarily bcs he cares about her but more bcs it’s just his reflex; let’s not forget, he still *thinks* she’s a demon, and so since he’s trying to go save demons anyway, save her too while he’s at it.
it’s not personal for him.
then she asks to hug him; he hesitates but complies; for me, with him still thinking she’s a demon, he probably thinks she’s afraid and only asked to be comforted; he hesitates bcs 1) he’s not one to offer comfort, 2) his pride, 3) wtf. he complies bcs wth he’s gonna die in a second anyway, might as well do something completely unlike him.
Tumblr media
this is where he changes his mind; and the words above implies it’s bcs of her powers; but I actually disagree with this assumption. after all, he did see what her powers could do in ep1. He *knows* her dragon is powerful. This is never in doubt.
he changes his mind about recruiting her bcs she actually comes to help him without being asked.
this is *important*.
Be it demons or angels, free wills have powers, and obeying contracts/commands is mandatory. And this also applies to Azazel, bcs once he realizes he can’t get nina to agree, he leaves her alone and doesn’t do anything to force her.
He needs her *wills*.
Which is why the dragon transformation scene is the game changer for him; not bcs of the dragon herself, but bcs nina, out of her own free will, comes without being asked and actually helps the demons.
This is why in rita’s place he doesn’t ask for her agreement and goes straight to offer to control her: it’s bcs he assumes he already has it - after all, she does help them all, doesn’t she.
This is where he is totally wrong.
we know from the end of ep3 that the one she tries to save is azazel and azazel only; she tries to stop him again in ep4 bcs she doesn’t want him dying, even tho stopping him means she basically lets the other demons get beheaded. in ep4, it’s important for her that azazel doesn’t die.
Azazel, meanwhile, doesn’t see this. Keeping in mind that he still thinks her a demon, he totally assumes she’s actually trying to save the demons from getting beheaded, like he is trying to do. He assumes it’s about demons solidarity.
About the hug as control thing, he may and may not understand the significance of it, but for him, the hug probably only means as a comfort thing; like a reassurance; like the way a pat on the head is enough to reassure mugaro, he seems to think all nina needs in order to transform is a reassurance in the form of a hug. Nothing less, nothing more.
He thinks she has a self-confidence issue, when that’s not true at all.
He thinks she cares about the demons, when, again, this is not true at all.
Ep6:
he doesn’t tell her anything other than a place to meet, bcs, to refer to ep4, he *thinks* they both are already on the same wavelength, that they both have the same wish and goal: to free the demons.
He only ever appears to her to preach about saving the demons anyway, and so here, he just assumes she would understand what he refers to, without actually confirming anything.
Nina meanwhile, doesn’t get his reference or what he’s talking about bcs she never cares about the demons, they’re never on her mind, and she knows him but she doesn’t know or get what he’s thinking, and therefore she puts it out of her mind too.
Ep7:
He doesn’t get why she doesn’t come to the place he tells her to, he doesn’t get why this time being hugged is not enough to reassure her and make her transform comfortably, and he doesn’t get why she’s balking out *now* of all times. Doesn’t she want to free the demons too, like him? aren’t they on the same page? Why is she being stubborn?
And, most importantly, he doesn’t get that *she* doesn’t get him, doesn’t understand what he’s trying to do.
But even after that, he goes on his own and leaves her, doesn’t force her to do anything.
Ep8:
I’ve written a bit about ep8 for nina, but for azazel, ep8 is also where he finally lets go of his pride and asks for her help *directly*. And it’s important that till the end, he doesn’t say “help me”, he says “help mugaro,” and then “help us the demons”. He uses ‘us’ bcs he still thinks nina’s a demon too, and if nothing else, she should want to save fellow demons like her.
Him calling out her name, “nina”, is important, bcs he very, very rarely calls ppl by their names.
For all of genesis and vs, ppl who he called by name so far: pazuzu, Lucifer, Beelzebub, mugaro, nina, charioce.
He’s been calling nina ‘komusume’ or little girl, only to switch into her name in this scene, which is very telling of his desperation. He needs her to actually pay attention to him, and so he calls her by name.
Yes, at the same time, calling her by name in that place means he also indirectly condemns her and is proof that she’s an acquaintance of a terrorist; but again, he also thinks her a demon; it doesn’t matter whether ppl knows they’re related bcs by virtue of being there at all she’s already guilty, and even more if she’s a demons then she’s about to be killed like the rest of the demons.
In his head, he probably thinks they’re all gonna die anyway and so she should at least try to save herself and mugaro.
There’s no other demons there, remember. There’s only azazel, and nina and mugaro (who he thinks are demons).
By ‘us’, I really think he only means mugaro; this is esp bcs he only starts fighting again when he sees mugaro being captured by angels. He already accepts his fate, but he still wishes mugaro would get saves somehow.
Ep18
This line tho:
Tumblr media
A total lie, bcs ep4-8 pretty much established that he did expect something out of her; he had hope for her; his entire plans revolved around her caring about demons and being able to turn into dragon.
This scene is honestly only him being tsundere 1) trying to spare her feelings, 2) trying to cover for his desperation back then and how he seemed so needy, 3) trying to establish boundary again, she and he had nothing to do with each other, she’s nothing to him, let’s continue being nothing.
He’s actually, in this scene, trying to be considerate and let her off the hook, free her of guilt.
…only to have her throw it all back on his face the moment she cheerfuly transforms into a dragon lulz
So much for being considerate
tl;dr
I know you don’t mean it that way, but it bothers me when ppl used ‘he should dump her forever’ bcs this implies they had a relationship to begin with when this is not true. His interest in her is purely, er business, so to speak. He considers her an asset even more bcs he makes a mistake and assumes she’s a demon like him when this is obviously not true.
Azazel never has romantic interest in nina.
Ep1-4 baiting aside, nina never has romantic interest in azazel.
Of course ppl are free to ship whoever they want. And honestly writing this kinda makes me missed their old interaction, even if now I don’t want her anywhere near him.
Just. er. Trying to put Azazel’s perspective out there I guess :’)
