the first true fandom space i was in was for atla so ill start there

I also got kind of into harley and ivy in like 2014? My freshman and sophomore years of college i was rooming w a lesbian who was very into comics so thats where those came from. Then uhhhh . God . what was i into in 2015 . i liked undyne and alphys but i never actively sought out undertale fanworks so. ngl that time period is a littke fuzzy lmaooo. sera/f!adaar from dai was next bc i had an adaar inquisitor. I was really into my exes' f/f ocs at the time also. After that its also a little fuzzy. Then it was pearl/marina and then catra/adora i think . then i went full oc mode (fin and jo are like . nb4nb w fin being more butch woman and jo being firmly Nothing Gender) (and robin is a Lesbian tm so are piper abd august. felix is bi and genderweird but still). Briefly karlach/my bfs durge lady. Now its still very much robin/felix and also beau and yasha from critrole.

anyways give me sam breaking down to tears because he's just had a shit day (wasn't able to save someone in a fight, feeling the weight of the mantle a little too much, his past + trauma being used as media fodder for why he does or doesn't deserve to be cap, the overwhelming weight of the responsibilities he has, or perhaps nothing but yet every reason all at once). And give me bucky simply holding sam, cradling him in his arms, wiping the tears away and doing everything he can to comfort sam. give me bucky drawing sam a bath after his long brutal day, tending to his wounds and holding him while he falls asleep. give me sam being vulnerable and open and raw, and give me bucky being there to solely to comfort his love in his time of need

so sam has wings which makes like angel imagery easier obviously but the lengths they went through in ep 6 to really amplify and highlight this was incredible. like so many of his scenes were so beautiful and ethereal, and god did i love it. like i dont know why i connected so much to this but seeing him that way was really satisfying and impactful

yeah, the issue about what I sent is how horrible her traumas are in the ikau! and trauma is the #1 libido killer, not always of course, but often. carter was way too young to go through that kind of loss. all she knew was that she was attracted to girls before it happened, that's why I brought up a "bi awakening" I just feel so bad for her :( but ngl her and quentin being fwb/a ship would just make me sweat in bi so. they better not. but ugh she must feel so lost, following tony's footsteps :(

She already feels choked enough by his shadow, so that’d just... really make her feel lost. Like she’s nothing more than a copy damned to repeat all of his mistakes

About your question: I was watching Thor Ragnarok and when Thor is tryna think about what nickname Tony would give him, I thought 'omfg what if he dated Carter, how would Tony react?' And I realized I really like the genius-himbo dynamic in general (like with Pietro) and Thor is ALSO a himbo. Except he doesn't know a lot regarding humans and this would make the dynamic so SO cute. How/when did Carter realize she was bi? It surprises me the amount of people who are actually bi and THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW IT/they don't wanna admit it. People just seem to think they're valid if they're straight or gay. (Also this is not me trying to force bisexuality onto anyone! But most people who are bi seem to have no idea they are. You do you!)

((Carter didn't realize she was bi until she was nineteen, and after she started at uni! Up until that point, she’d believed she was a lesbian, since she’d always had a strong attraction for women, and had brushed off any interest in men or anyone else as an aesthetic interest vs anything romantic or sexual. It was there that she joined the queer center with her best friend, and there she was able to really be herself and look more into the community - which led to her trying out a few different labels before she realized she felt comfortable with bisexual!

but, yeaaaah, unfortunately it doesn’t help that line of belief is also encouraged by the LGBTQ+ community. Not everyone, obviously, but still, the community isn’t always accepting of bi and pan folk because they’re not just straight or gay :/ that sort of behavior is absolutely unacceptable, and bi and pan folk are just as valid as anyone else with a different sexuality! Plus labels can get confusing pretty quick ngl dsfgjhdf - but, hey, you don’t gotta use ‘em if you don’t want to! 

also, tbh it’s funny you mention that, though, because for a few years I thought I was bi! Well, biromantic lol, but it wasn’t until quite recently that I realized I was definitely aro, and more into the idea of romance vs the actual reality of it SDFGJHSFDDHFJ
