like i do complain about anakin but vader is such a fun villain. i do enjoy him as vader. hes enjoyable as a villain bc yes he has a cool visual design and even at his most powerful he still has clear weaknesses like the glorified life support suit he lives in and the fact that hes subservient to the emperor and later on the fact he has a family he sorta cares about in his own.. unique way. so while he’s pretty fucking evil he still feels like a nuanced being with both strengths and weaknesses and clear motives behind what he does

but palptine its just like. what is the point. what even is his fucking motivation for doing anything. he does the most evil shit just for the laffs? the absolute giggles? did he have a family? has he ever genuinely cared for someone with no ulterior motives? what was he like as a kid? why is he fucking doing any of this? but no he just sits there cackling and shooting lightning out his fingers. fuck this guy
