I think the reason i really, really enjoy Hedwig as a character is because she's the one you don't see. The others are pretty open about their yandere-ness, kidnapping you and murdering people right before your eyes. But Hedwig ? You could spend years by her side, living your cutest homely life and never notice anything. Except you can't help thinking that something feels just a little bit off.

Admittedly Verbal Justice is not my fave melody line, the verses slap but the chorus is a bit slow with a haunting mantra-like repetition that can get grating unlike Femme Fatale. I understand it's intentional considering like saviour/path to God references though and it was fun though not something I'll slap onto a playlist I'll listen everyday unlike Magic Transistor or Hoodstars. Also Giga-P's never known for having a bad chorus so tough competition to beat there.

Queendom is an autobiographical song about Awich's life story here and it's well worth a watch, phenomenal storytelling and I adore it so much.

And so it's like doubly amazing they got the Queen herself to make lyrics for Otome who's in a similar position of climbing to power with her own smarts, resolve and words for a better world in her homeplace like Awich returning to Japan where she moves hearts with her voice too. But well, there are clear differences there storyline wise when Otome is set up to be one of the top villains/antagonists. Very understandable sentiment tho.

And speaking of origin stories, Awich did do a collab with some Oikinawan youths, SugLawd Familiar and CHICO CARLITO called Longiness Remix. comments say they're (I think SugLawd Familiar in particular) in high school? Seriously?? And it's a jam!

yes!! i’m a big horror/thriller fan just in general. i recently saw the new scream with my sister and i loved it. my favorite movie in general is called ‘marrowbone’ it’s a psychological horror film. i’m honestly the most annoying person to watch anything with because i analyze everything in what i watch and always end up guessing the twists in like everything 😭😭 — i thought squid game was good, i understand though i do feel like it was kinda overhyped and i honestly preferred sweet home and AIB to it.

RTK Round 1 (EP2/3) Evaluation:

ONEUS: I find it amazing that they chose such a difficult and serious message to convey. However the performance was a bit too messy in my eyes, for me there was too much going on and I partly didn't even get what exactly happened, so I'm unfortunately again not convinced of their performance ... Which is irritating because I usually love their performances (of their own songs) a lot.

TOO: Bruh that was great. The choreo seemed super strong, I really loved the team moves. But what I truly found the most impressive are their vocals here. The song choice was on point af because it showcased their vocal and dance skills. In general it had some really epic vibe to it, especially these sun-themed dance moves were absolutely stunning.

VERIVERY: So they srly did an "adult" version of mansae, that came unexpected. I liked how they transferred the boyish lovely concept to some uniform navy concept. Also they added such cool catchy scene with Kangmin. However I think they could have chosen another SVT song to better showcase their dancing skills (like clap or very nice). Also their usually great vocals weren't rly showcased either...So yeah, it was a nice stage, but sorta underwhelming for me.

Golcha: I was a bit sceptical before bcos I'm not so fond of the song, but dude that was amazing. It had sth ethereal and really calming, their performance definitely stood out a lot because the theme was not "in your face", but rather consumed the viewer with each second passing. It had sort of a majestic vibe and that was definitely unique.

ONF: HOLY SHIT. That was so dope. The mysterious and dark rearrangement in the first half of the performance, the outfits, singing, dance, everything was great. It also didn't feel too long (I felt other perfs were too long), it was just absolutely on point and I enjoyed this stage a whole lot.

Regarding only these 5 I've seen so far (I added the others below), TOO, Golcha and ONF were absolutely amazing. Also on a sidenote, it's incredible what TOO pulled off there, considering that they just debuted weeks ago. My reaction at them be like:

Pentagon: I found it cool af that they chose a rather unconventional group as their king of kpop, I felt pretty nostalgic right there. However for my personal taste that rearrangement was a bit too loud and too much. I rly liked their acting and expressions, that was very strong, but the choreo was kinda underwhelming. I felt like everything was a bit too focused on the acting stuff.

The Boyz: Ambitious song choice tho. What I found strange about this performance, was that it was rather a ... "stunt show" with risky athletic moves than a music performance. I mean, it definitely was stunning, but for me that theatrical musical show elements were a bit too much. Maybe I'm too oldschool for this hahahaha but somehow it wasn't my cup of tea. I found it good tho. But for my personal taste not as good as others. If I had seen this in another context, MAMA or KCON for example, I'd loved it. But in that context here I found it a bit over the top.

ok i got a couple of things to say about this part

first of all it makes me so sad that jes cares so much for someone who dosn't deserve him. because no hate to kaz but they would never work as a couple and kaz already treats him like shit most of the time

i think this part shows who a lot about who jesper really is. a boy that grew up having to hide parts of himself, who thinks he's worth nothing but it's smart and capable, who's loyal and brave and caring but doesn't even know it himself. he's someone who feels he doesn't deserve good things and thinks he's not good enough, and that's why he unds up in all the wrong places with the wrong people. he left uni bc he fell in with the gangs, because he didn't think he was smart enough or even prepared to be in studying in the university. jesper is constantly hiding behind a mask or running from things because he's scared of not being enough

an kaz is everything jes in a way wishes he could be. kaz is secure in himself (at least on the outside), he's stable, he's smart, he's "unshakeable". and most of all, he doesn't care about others (we know that's not true but that's how he presents himself)

and that's the thing that causes jesper all his problems. because he's insecure because he thinks he's not good enough for the poeple or things he cares about. and he's always trying to do what's best for his loved ones: he went to the ice court to pay his debt for his father, he follows kaz everywhere beacause he cares about him, he offered to read to wylan (knowing it wouldn't be easy for him to be still that long).

and yeah it often doesn't work out becuase he's messy and he has problems but he tries. and he hates that. he hates that he cares so much about people because at the end of the day, that's what makes him feel like he's not good enough

one more thing and i'm done i promise

unpopular opinion but i love that leigh made jesper have a crush on kaz. 1 beacuse it's refreshing to see someone not get otgether with his first crush. and 2 because i love that it shows that we sometimes get attached to people that are not good for us, but that we can learn to move on. jesper ended with wylan who respects him and values him, unlike kaz

Okay, today I'm asking you to read this post about "emotional bids", that are basically requests of connection from someone to someone else.

The post I linked talks about how paying attention to emotional bids is important in marriages and divorces, but I'll take the chance to stretch it and say you can use this technique in all types of relationships: familiar ones, friendships, etc etc etc.

Rejecting someone who's requesting for connection is not a fatal sin. We all do it all the time for different reasons. However, when it happens too often and in big ways, the fail to stablished the connection can generate many issues.

I've talked before about how I think that bnha is based on miscommunication and how it generates violence. It is, when people fail to communicate, don't communicate even when they can or when they communicate in a wrong way.

Of course one can erase violence just by communicating. Humans beings have different thinking and as long as this is true, the differences within the human race will generate violence. BUT one could prevent many situations of violence by properly communicating too.

This is my personal interpretation, so feel free to disagree.

Inko restores that as soon as she realizes her mistake, and since she and Izuku have good connection in general, that's it, they're still good.

On the contrary, you can pinpoint many moments were the Todorokis fail to connect with Touya. When Touya asks his father for training, he doesn't do it because he enjoys the pain, but because he wants a relationship with his father. And when Natsuo regrets not listening to Touya some times in the past, he regrets the fact that he turned his brother down, even when Natsuo was just a little kid and kids are very much allowed to be selfish.

Each character have their own ways of seeking connection.

The same way, we all have seen one piece of media where a group is suppose to feel close, but it doesn't feel like it. And we all known an amazing piece of media where you adore so much the connection between the characters, that you could stan an awful plot just to get to see them.

I personally like how Horikoshi use this micro gestures and tiny moments to create a net of connection between his characters, one that allows the reader to care about them as groups, not only individuals. Maybe he could do some things better, but in general he's good at it.

This is the importance behind arcs like the cultural festival or my villain academia. You can create angst or impact or sorrow without first making the people worried about those characters. One way to do so is making the readers feel like those characters would be good friends to them, like they would care about them.

Feel free to re-read the manga and look for those emotional bids from your favorite character. Take the time to notice whenever two characters have improved over time with their emotional bids, or if they lack an important connection.

This is a tool you can use to improve your fanfics or your metas, or maybe you just want to rediscover stuff about bnha. Either way, I really recommend it.

So I started watching some videos and I fell in love with them pretty much instantly! And I was real excited bc #1 now I can talk about kpop with someone! And #2 this group is actually amazing? Bonus! ... And then they got in a big fight about their living conditions and the roommate ended up moving out RIP

And although I love them w/ my whole heart and would have loved to have them in my life even sooner what an amazing cb to be your first! The concept was wonderful, the album was excellent, the visuals were to *die* for. They worked so hard and I'm so proud of them and I'm so happy we got to see their work come to fruition and get them a win 🤧🤧

Okay SO I’m very sorry I haven’t had the time to answer everything until now bc I’ve been busy studying for midterms and also I was a lil trashy today since my uni closed bc of freezing rain so I slept in but I’m glad that FINALLY everything got sent like damn tumblr you really don’t want us making friends huh. 

Yessssss I love the feeling of seeing someone else also get into the same interests! I’ve been pretty lucky in the sense that I grew up around mostly other asian americans, so kpop was never something that was considered super “weird,” like some people were into it and some weren’t but even if you weren’t you still would’ve been familiar with the more popular groups from when you were younger. Even now, I have a bunch of friends also into kpop (one of them is even my roommate) so tbh I was definitely the one in my friend group late to the party aha. Even my university hosts kpop nights at our bar and I’m pretty sure we have a kpop dance team as well? So tbh if I met someone new there’s probably like a 50% chance they’re into kpop or at least listen casually. 

Tbh I used to be a little bit judgy too but moreso because of the obscene amount of money I’ve seen some of my friends spend (no joke one of my friends has spent probably like $500+ on Loona stuff in the past month and a half and another friend bought like 5 copies of the same album for herself like damn idk how do you have that much money).

I also really don’t like it when people bash other people’s music tastes, since I feel like it’s something so personal? Idk but for a long time I used to be really self conscious about sharing my music with other people and even now I feel like that sometimes. For me after getting into BTS I kind of expected to get really into other groups since I was in Korea anyway and I was already listening to a lot of other artists casually. For me it started with NU’EST (fell for them immediately at the same concert that I saw Astro at) and then after was Astro, and then I just started slowly getting into other groups after that (even though I haven’t totally been able to get into Got7′s music they’re SO funny and I just kinda fell for their personalities  you know). 

I honestly think that they did such a wonderful job with this comeback too! I like seeing their concept evolve and mature but they’re not straying too far from their original cute concept so I feel like it’s a nice middle ground that’s very unique to them, you feel? Also I feel like the visuals especially and the execution of the whole plant concept was just done so well?? Even my friend who’s not in kpop was like “k idk who they are but that was the prettiest music video I’ve ever seen”. What are your favourite eras and songs? For me I’d have to say either the Spring Up or Baby era BUT right now my favourite song is probably Again/Should’ve Held On though tbh my mood and my tastes change like every few weeks loool. 

I have no idea why I tend to be most attracted to the dances rather than vocals or rap (maybe has to do with the fact that it’s something I’ve always wished I could do but have always been bad at lmao). But Astro’s stood out to me for the exact same reason! I just thought it was so funny seeing them all break character at the end because you really get to see how hard their choreos are and you get a glimpse of their personalities like damn, how can you not stan these dummies?

That’s really unfortunate that you won’t get to see them either :/ They’re also coming to the closest city to me but it’s on a Tuesday, but I *hypothetically* looked up flight prices and tried to see if I could get away with just missing a day of classes if I flew back in the middle of the night since I have some friends who did the same thing and drove down to Buffalo but I seem to have underestimated the size of New York State LMAO. But apparently my university’s too far from the airport so it’s “not realistic” (and also I’m hella broke from travelling to Taiwan and Japan while I was in Korea but that’s a minor issue ig). I hope we do both get a chance to see them live though! Who knows, after the success of this comeback I’m expecting a lot more cbs and world tours out of them ;)

I'm hrnnggn not sure? I thought I just like tweaked it? which happens a lot. It usually just lasts a day or so, and I use a heat pack and slowly stretch it out until the muscles relax and the joints can crack again. but this time I totally made it worse somehow? all the muscles tightened up again, and not just the neck that time but my back and shoulders too. It was so bad the first (well, technically second) day that it hurt to breathe.

It's finally to the point where I'm out of bed and moving again. The pain spread down my back at one point lol, like that one scene in the original IT where the dead lights travel down the tube. Just choo chooing down my body day by day. My neck is still sore and tense but it's getting better. Once I crack my neck, I'll know it's fixed haha.

Neck sprains T_T that's so not good!! is it from your job? I hope they don't hurt too much.
