Hai! I'm Frys! I don't believe we've spoken before, but that can wait till later. I'm here to ask about your SBK mermaid AU? And more importantly, the WIP that's holding you up?

hullo hullo!! actually, i think the wip i was referring to in that mermaid post has actually been finished!! i do have another wip that i'd like to work on, but like- that ahit one was the main one i wanted to finish, since that one was a gift for aces,, dkdndkdnd.

i think i've rambled about the basic premise of the mer au over on discord,, but basically, avid is a (semi-unwilling) crew member of this pirate ship, and currently in my mind the captain is olm? i don't actually know if they'd call themselves pirates or not,, but uhh, that's basically what they are methinks.

not exactly sure how yet, but i think avid messes up one too many times or smth like that, and eventually olm decides to cut his losses and forces avid overboard. viking just happens to be nearby,, and after some internal debate(either humans don't know about mers existence, or they don't have the greatest relationship,, which isn't helped by the fact that there's a language barrier),, decides to rescue him and take him to a nearby deserted island. and uhhhhhh then they vibe ig ksdnkdns.
