Reed had just got out of another thrilling day of doing projects that he thought were entirely too easy, and also a complete waste of time. This world was much more peaceful than his, which meant The Think Tank was focused on much more menial task. He had tried to bring up bigger ideas, but unfortunately they thought they were, in their words, "too far fetched."

He walked through the park on his way home stopped on the bench, and pulled out his thermos. He poured himself a small cup of coffee, took a sip, and then proceeded to think out loud. "It should have worked."

What's your favorite scene from ffxv (and why)?

Oh GOD that's a tough question.

There's so many possibilities...so many good dialog bits while camping or running around, so many quiet conversations and goofy moments. So many heartbreaking moments, like the last campfire or all of Chapter Ten, or Prompto seeming almost surprised Noct was worried about him, or, of course, the moment when the boys all turn away and let Noct walk up the stairs to the Citadel and his fate alone.

But if I absolutely have to pick one from the base game, it would be when Prompto tells them he's an MT and they all just...roll with it. It's a moment of comfort and levity in the midst of the part of the game that somehow turned into survival horror, and it shows just how close these boys are.

And from the DLC, well, since I can't just pic ALL of Episode Ignis, I'll choose when Ignis is the most reckless, and says "I swore an oath to stand with Noct and keep him safe. Whatever it takes, I will protect him!" while jamming the Ring of the Lucii onto his finger and giving up so much for his prince. Whether you ship them or not, the devotion Ignis has for him is SO complete and his willingness to face the kings of old, the gods, and fate itself to save Noctis is just so good. Not healthy of course, but exactly the kind of thing that makes me go wild in fiction.

just like most of her other work days, keyleth had stayed over in her office to work just a little bit longer on paperwork for the projects she had been working. she had rushed out of the office in just enough time to make it to her favorite burger place before the dinner rush -- that is if she was able to get there with no distractions. building in sight and she knew that she was going to be able to make it...and then it happened. she tripped. catching herself with her hands before her face met with concrete meant that the bag she had been carrying had fallen to the ground, causing the documents inside to spill out. she scrambled to get all of her items packed back away as she saw feet approach. without looking up, she apologized "i am so so so sorry that i'm taking up the whole sidewalk. i'm almost finished getting it all packed up. i apologize for my clumsiness."
