#i swear if this launches another wave of 'aita for pissing in places that aren't the toilet' submissions...
Note
First off, I know this is going to sound gross but please hear me out.
AITA for pissing in the sink.
I (22M) live with three roommates, fake names, Jenna (21F), Jessica (22F) and Josh (23M). In our apartment we have one bathroom which is also where our only toilet is.
One evening I got home from a party and needed to go to the toilet pretty badly. But the bathroom was occupied. Jessica was having a bath. Which is fine but normally pretty inconvenient by default if anyone needs to go to the toilet. Usually we communicate about stuff like that so if someone wants to take a bath we check in so everyone can empty their bladder first you know? But since I was out and came home late I get that discussing that wasn't really an option. But then, at 1 am, Jessica was having a bath and I was bursting. I knocked and asked how long she needed. She told me she just got in.
Knowing her she would be in there for at least two hours. I like to think I'm a strong man but I'm not that strong. So I went to the kitchen, emptied the sink, and pissed in it. That is when Jenna walked in. She was horrified and yelled at me. I told her I needed to go very badly and this was the best option right now and that I would clean it very well (which I did). She yelled some more about me exposing myself to her. Which I do feel bad about although I doubt she saw much. But I just really, REALLY, had to go.
Josh thinks it's hilarious and thinks Jenna is being sensitive. Jenna keeps calling me a pervert and Jessica says she understands but thinks I should have been more considerate. I'm not sure how I could have been more considerate, pissing on the carpet didn't seem like a good option to me. The sink is easy to clean properly after all. Plus I thought Jenna was already asleep and didn't expect her to just walk in on me at night. I already told her I was sorry for what she saw. I don't know what more I can do?
So am I the asshole?
What are these acronyms?
