Hiiiiiiii I just read the entirety of the murderbot diaries in a week and I am SO OBSSESSED and want to become more obsessed. Do you have recs for good blogs to follow (other than you) for people who post about murderbot (and are active? I don’t know how late to the game I am).
oh hello!!!! congrats on discovering murderbot!! i'm so curious how my blog was the first you found, but thanks for saying hi!!
i am so happy to inform you that there is a THRIVING murderbot fandom on tumblr, ao3 and discord!! a big chunk of the fandom hangs out in a few different discord servers, if that's your thing you should check them out! I'm an active member of the biggest and oldest one, the Murderbot Diaries 2.0 discord, which i can get you an invite for if you like! We have some really fun fandom events (including an ao3 comment bingo going on right now) and so many fun conversations about the books and fic ideas. There's also a couple other servers that have been created more recently, including New Tideland which I hear is also very friendly, i bet someone else can get you a link for that one.
as for tumblr, i have some wonderful wonderful mutuals who i met on the murderbot discord! i'm trying to remember who's been posting murderbot stuff recently--off the top of my head @grammarpedant @elexuscal @specialagentartemis @snugglyeldritchjellyfish all have great murderbot thoughts and fic, @broken-risk-assessment-module @alex-van-gore @sentient-pineapple have all that and have drawn some killer murderbot fanart. (fair warning if you follow all of these people you may end up with Same Post On Your Dash 10 Times syndrome XD i have a pretty small and tight knit fandom circle and i recommend you go seeking out others as well!)
if you're looking for some cool posts to read & reblog @grammarpedant has a "murderbot reruns" tag which includes some of the awesome meta and art that's gotten circulated on tumblr in the past, i highly suggest you check that out for a start!
i am leaving So So many cool people out but my memory is limited, murderbot friends pls rb or shout yourself out in the replies if i missed you!

Fanfiction Etiquette 101
(Things You Didn't Know You Need To Know)
So, I have seen some discussions about these things on my dashboard, and I know some people are new to tumblr and new to fanfiction in general, so I decided to put this list together in case it might help people. And this stuff goes for all fandoms, no matter what type of fanfiction to write and post.
Also fyi, this post is mostly for people who write and post fanfiction.
1: Putting A Readmore/Cut On Fanfiction
So a 'readmore' (also known as a 'cut') is the ability to put the body of your fanfiction under a cut off link so that people's dashboards are not clogged up by long sprawling paragraphs of text. This is also helpful if your fic contains smut and people don't want to be subjected to smut - people have to click through to keep reading sensitive topics.
The button for it looks like this on desktop:
Tumblr media
And this bar of options comes up on desktop when you hit 'enter' on a blank line.
And it looks like this on mobile:
Tumblr media
Tumblr put it permanently into the hotbar of options so that it's easier for people to put a readmore on their posts on mobile.
Once you have inputted it, it comes up as a light grey jagged line, showing you where your text cuts off in the main post aka what text is visible before the cut and what's not.
And generally, I think it's a good idea to put the readmore after the first paragraph of your fic, or after the description/summary.
I have noticed that some people put it in after several paragraphs for a longer fic, but I think to make fics easier to reblog, you could put it closer to the top. And even if you're writing smut blurbs, you should put it close to the top to keep smut concealed in case people don't want to read or see smut.
If you don't use a readmore, people are less likely to reblog your fic because they don't want to put a long text wall on other people's dashboards.
2: Using (Stolen) Gifs As Fanfiction Covers
I have seen some discussion about using gifs from google, and people putting a gif that they have downloaded and simply writing under it 'this gif is not mine, please DM me if it's your and I will give you credit'.
It's generally established among gif makers that downloading random gifs and putting them on your fanfiction is bad etiquette. Those are considered stolen gifs.
Even if you say it's not yours and offer to give credit, any gif you repost that is not yours is considered a stolen gif.
Fanfiction writers and gif makers need to work together, not against each other. Reblog gif sets you like, and don't download random gifs, no matter what the source is.
The best way to use gifs as fanfiction covers is to make them yourself or to use the tumblr integrated gif search system.
The gif search system is in the same hot bar as the readmore, labelled under 'gif'.
When you pull it up and click on it, you type in the name of the character you are looking for, and then you can scroll through the results. You can click on a gif to add it to your post, and remove it if you don't like it. So you can try out different gifs to find the right fit of what you're looking for.
Tumblr media
And when you find what you're looking for and put it on your post, it automatically credits the gifmaker.
Tumblr media
And the credit appears like this. And the name of the gifmaker can be clicked and then it takes you to their blog, so you can see who made the gif. This is a much better way to use gifs, because if someone likes a gif they see on your fic post, they can click through to the original gifmaker and reblog it.
Alternatively, using stills from the show/piece of media you're fanfic is about is a great way to avoid using stolen gifs.
2.5: Using Flashing Gifs On Fanfiction
I have noticed that a lot of people use flashing dividers for their fics, and they don't tag it with a flashing warning (#flashing gif or something similar) and they don't see this as a problem.
Using a flashing gif in fanfiction without a warning can negatively affect disabled readers. Not just people with photosensitive seizures, but people with migraines and different types of eye issues.
3: Using Coloured Text For Fanfiction
Speaking of accessibility issues, I have noticed that many people (especially people new to tumblr/new to fanfiction) use Tumblr's coloured text option to differentiate characters in fanfiction - assigning one colour per character with dialogue.
Some people also just use coloured text for the whole body of their fics, just making it straight up unreadable for disabled people.
Using coloured text in fanfiction makes it inaccessible because certain types of colour blindness makes it unreliable to see on a white background, and bright colours can cause eye strain for different types of disabilities.
It is kinder to use the traditional black text for the body of your fic, and any important information (like the content warnings, DNI criteria, etc).
4: Putting Thorough Content Warnings On Fanfiction
Speaking of content warnings - I could (and probably should) make an entire post about this topic alone, because many writers (both new and old) are severely lacking in this department.
Content warnings are supposed to be more for just smut - and if you do have smut in your fic, you should put warnings for that, instead of just releasing for fic into the wild with no warnings at all. Content warnings are supposed to be for anything that could be potentially triggering for a reader - phobias and fears, sensitive topics, uncomfortable or fear-inducing situations, and kinks and nsfw topics.
Tbh I think not enough people put warnings for alcohol and alcohol consumption in their fics, because alcohol is far too normalized to most people, but again - I could probably make a whole post just about content warnings in fanfiction. Basically: if you think your post could be triggering to someone with an addiction or in addiction recovery (or triggering to a sober person who doesn't want to read about drugs or alcohol) - then include those things in the content warnings.
Fanfiction is about informed consent.
People need to be better informed about what the content of your fic is before they consent to reading it. Also, if you're worried about the warnings being too detailed and giving away 'spoilers' for your fic, then you're probably worried about the wrong thing. And you can just put a warning at the very top that says "the content warnings of this fic contain spoilers for the plot of the fic" and let people make their choice if they want to skip the content warnings or not.
Please, write about all the dark or sensitive topics that you want, but just put detailed warnings on your fic so people can be informed about it before reading your fic.
People always appreciate thorough warnings, and they are more likely to read your fic if they are fully informed before clicking into the body of it.
4.5: (Not) Censoring Content Warnings
Tumblr is not tiktok. (Same goes for posting fics on AO3, but this post is mostly about Tumblr fics.) On Tumblr you can say/spell out any word you want without your post being suppressed or taken down - suicide, kill, murder, fuck, abortion, hell, porn, tits, cumshot, etc.
So that means that when you're writing out the content warnings of a fic, you should write them out fully, rather than putting slang or alluding to the topics in a fic. (Again, informed consent.) Rather than saying 'this fic contains SA', say: 'this fic contains sexual assault' or 'this fic contains rape'.
I saw someone using the term 'unalive' in the content warnings of their fic, and tbh, that's what inspired me to make this whole post.
If you're not mature enough to spell out all the topics in the content warnings of the post, you're not mature enough to be writing and posting about those topics.
Also, try not to use terms that need to be looked up/implicit terms. Certain terms for kinks (like dacryphilia or somnophilia) might lead a person to google those terms and find things they don't want to see. So instead of using those terms, just say 'crying kink' or 'sleeping kink' instead, so that everything is spelled out plainly.
...
This is all I can think of for now. Basically, just be kind to others when posting fics. Be kind to gif makers, disabled readers, and anyone from your fandom who might have an interest in your fic! Be safe and have fun writing! <3

i hope it's okay if i send you this but i'm pretty new to the f1 side of tumblr and don't really know the ins and outs yet and you're literally the first blog i came across and you seem really popular and talented so i thought i'd ask you for some blog recommendations? and maybe you'd know if there's any like fandom etiquette one should follow on f1 tumblr that's different from general tumblr etiquette because i know some fandoms have some extra unspoken rules and all that
Hi nonnie ofc it's okay!! so here's:
kyle, princemick's beginners guide to f1blr!
basic rules to f1blr:
please always tag any kind of crash, they happen, theyre scary please remember to tag them with 'crash tw'
don't cross tag keep the right drivers in the right tags, we dont wanna see max in the ferrari tag or charles in the merc tag etc
tag your hate with 'anti *insert driver*' (use first name not both first and last so it doesnt show up in the main tags) and don't go looking in those tags for ur fav just to defend them that's annoying ass hell
basic things to remember:
rpf is very likely to happen, if you dont enjoy it no worries to blacklist or not follow people who are active in it BUT rpf does happen a lot casually as jokes etc so dont take it to seriously
everyone has their favs and critize everyone, the block and unfollow button is right there, its still sport. curate your own experience.
NOW kyle's blog rec list below the cut!
go and support and show some love, they're all incredible creators and organized by fav driver/genre of content so please take some time to check them out!! (tried to explain what they mostly do but some just rb and post so ajksdb theyre still all amazing though)
a lot of these are also mixed in who they support, I put them in the catagory of people I identify them w most.
also tumblr is a dick so has a tag limit which means half of these are links so there are a bunch of people in here who didnt get a notif that they're in this post, so rip.

Hey sorry bout this but what's the etiquette for tagging and liking and reblogging (and what kind of reblogging to do)?
hi! don't worry about it - new social media sites are scary sometimes, haha, i still don't know how twitter works. but here's some etiquette as i understand it!
reblog whatever you want. i'm serious. i literally reblog or queue every single post i like that i see, but you don't have to do this. it's considered REALLY NORMAL to reblog a lot of stuff, though, or even to reblog the same thing more than once! if you like it, and you think maybe other people would want to see it, or just want to comment to the op... reblog it!
when it comes to likes, the thing to keep in mind is that most tumblr users keep their likes private, and liked posts don't show up on other people's dashes. therefore liking a post only helps the number of notes go up, which only helps its standing when searching through a tag - otherwise, it effectively "does nothing for the algorithm", as most tumblr users largely just look at their dash. i personally use likes either to indicate that it's a post i've reblogged before so i don't constantly reblog the same things over and over again and to like, indicate that i've seen posts that are like, personal or not really a rebloggable thing, but i want to be like "yes i agree" or "i see you" to, you know? however, everyone uses them differently - some people use them as bookmarks, for example, and some people use them for the traditional use of "i liked this, i just don't want to reblog it". the thing to keep in mind that a like is like, an indicator that you've seen something, and a reblog boosts it further! that informs the etiquette on which you want to do. ultimately, though, it's your decision how to use that tool.
tags are for organizational use. DO NOT CROSSTAG. that's the big etiquette to remember. only tag things on your original posts that are relevant to THAT POST. (this, for the record, includes: do not put the 'minecraft' tag on anything that's mcyt! those are separate fandoms and we don't want to flood the guys just trying to talk about the game.) if you crosstag and i notice it in the tags i do in fact immediately report you for spam and block you. beyond that, on original posts, it's really up to you how you tag, just remember that only the first... i think its five... are relevant to people trying to search for posts, so if you want higher discoverability save conversational tags for after those.
when it comes to reblogs, tags are both for organizing your own blog how you want (if you use them, i don't) and for like, comments that you want to make on a post, but do not add to the post. it is normal to leave conversational tags on reblogs, and to talk in the tags of posts about things that are not the main body of the posts. because the tags don't get reblogged with the post when someone reblogs it, it's sort of like whispering! you will get the hang of it by watching what other people do, if that makes you nervous. generally, just remember that OP can see your tags, and then chat however you want in them.
i hope this helps!

I’ve been on tumblr since 2012 and following you pretty much that entire time and have never reblogged or posted a single thing under my name. Before that I was on LJ for years and never posted anything. I send (nice) asks to people on anon, and leave (nice) comments and kudos on ao3. I used to interact some on LJ when anon kink memes were a thing. I am a part of fandom and have been for close to 20 years, I’m just not comfortable having any kind of public persona online that people can see, even if it has no attachment to my real name.
I know that the influx of new, young fans and the way they treat fandom the same as other online content creation/consumption is a problem. But fandom has always had lurkers. I do my best to positively interact in the ways that I am able to within my comfort zone, and I follow the rules of fandom etiquette. There’s so much pushback against lurkers now that was never there before, and I just don’t understand it.
It's a difficult line to walk, but there's a difference between going to a blog that has zero posts, zero likes, no header, no icon, not even a note that says "just lurking," and a person that's here to look at stuff that displays at least enough humanity to say "hey don't block me I'm just looking."
And look... yes there's always been lurkers. And there probably always will be. And it wasn't an issue for you or for creators or fandom in general, because it didn't hurt anything before. In just my living memory, fandom spent a while just being mailing lists- so creations/discussion went to everyone. There wasn't really anyone else to pass stuff on to, so it didn't matter if you just signed up and never said a word. Webrings based the spread of creation in the site itself, because everything was small back then. Livejournal had public and private communities that were searchable and creation was based inside of those communities, and interaction was based on commenting - what you're used to doing, and okay doing - meaning community was based in the comments and people linking to various communities. Back when places like deviantart and ff.net were pretty staple major sites for everyone, community formed in comment sections there as well.
And as much as I do love social media and the advent of community messaging systems... it's changed the face of fandom in ways that make lurking - and I do mean straight up no interaction, if you're sending messages and commenting, you're participating - break the links of community.
Look at it this way:
Back on LJ etc, it didn't matter if you, personally, lurked. Or even if 100 people lurked. Creations and community were centrally located. People all gathered to the same stable location (a post, or a community feed) to look at the things, and comment etc so if you commented or didn't, they could still find the creations. Sites like that brought people together. Now? *shakes head* Social media sites have divided us, and AI/Bots/Algorithms are conquering us because we disseminated too far.
Where do you go, on twitter, if you want to find fic? How do you find a conversation about something? Where do artists go so you can find groups of them and their galleries? You can scroll a tag, but anyone can put anything in that. I have literally no idea how tiktok works because every time I go on it, things just start scrolling past and playing videos for me that I didn't click. It's kind of horrifying. Instagram is... god, I don't even know how to classify that mess, but it's not a community. it's a museum. don't touch anything.
Tumblr is... it's not livejournal, it's not deviantart, it's not mailing lists or webrings but... it's people touching real people still, or it has the ability to be that if we continue to fight for it. As much as there are shitshows around here on occasion, it's still largely neighbors passing notes over the fences separating us.
But for as much community potential as it has, with the way it can function - with the way it USED to function, the way I REMEMBER it functioning a long time ago - it still separates us. There's tags, like on twitter, but anyone that tag dives (like me) knows what a hot fucking mess the tags can be, and there's no other central collection.
Tumblr's saving grace, though, is the ability we, the users, have to interact like humans. To share what we can with one another. To create networks that still kind of resemble the webrings of old, where you can come to one location (someone's blog) and find gateways to other blogs the way one page/site used to lead to the next so the separate, divided things spread across the world WIDE web don't get lost.
Except the link gets broken here, when folks just have empty blogs. There's (thankfully) no algorithm deciding what we should look at, but the trade off is that we have to be responsible for that step in fandom again. The way we used to be.
Not to mention that... there was never really a point for bots back in the LJ days. It would have been hard for them to survive because everyone knew at least some of the people. Not that there weren't, but it was harder and not rewarding for them to exist en masse. Now? Now bots use social media sites and users. Here, on tumblr, they follow accounts to make it look like they're legit to search engines. Whatever central account they're using to scam people, it collects the bots and the network the bots make, and uses them to look legit, so they can scam people, so they can spread viruses, advertise porn or whatever they're doing. They're exploiting users here, and they do this by following us.
And the ONLY recourse we have? is guessing that they're bots and blocking them. Because reporting a blank blog won't get tumblr addressing the issue. So, when someone lurks in a completely faceless, anon way, a way that makes them look like a bot, then the people who are being followed are going to learn to treat them like the bots that are trying to exploit them to do bad things.
And that's not on you! It's not your fault that they're doing those things, or that people have to react the way they have to react to curb that nonsense. And it's not your fault that social media wants to separate us so it can sell us whatever it wants and keep us from communicating and forming communities where we can entertain ourselves instead of feeding on their ads or whatever. It's not your fault that the way community functions on a human level has been backed into a corner by algorithms/bots.
But that IS the lay of the land these days. You and I have both been here long enough that we've watched the landscape shift. It's not the net we knew. And that's unfortunate. But it's probably not going to go back to the way we knew once upon a time. So people are pushing back against folks being quiet, because the alternative is to let algorithms win and do the talking for us. To let bots use us to hurt others. To let fandom founder because it's being directed by whatever AI is in charge of telling us what to look at.
I'm not going to tell anyone they can't be in fandom if they don't reblog stuff or make stuff or whatever. Just... that fandom is going to have a LOT harder time existing in this new breed of divided space if we don't reach out and connect and help one another connect to others, too.

You got any etiquette or tips or smth for posting one shots or drabbles? Like, when to place cuts, how to tag, CW stuff, should you divulge background info before hand, etc etc...
-den-of-whump
Hey friend! I don't know a lot about the etiquette but I'll try my best!
For starters, here's what my setup before my story looks like (had to put a readmore because it was getting long LOL)
Tumblr media
See "CONTENT"? The most important thing is to list the trigger warnings somewhere at the beginning, like kidnapping, sickfic, blood, etc. You can use tags too, but also adding the trigger warnings at the beginning before the story is also a good way, so that if your readers see something at the beginning before they read that there's something that squicks them, they could pass it up.
Speaking of tags...
Tumblr media
I reread through my stories before posting so I could tag them properly. Was a character bleeding with some descriptions of blood? Add a "blood tw", "blood", etc tag. Was the whumpee dealing with body horror with description of said body horror? "Body horror tw", "body horror", etc. There are times where you forget to add a tag and that's okay! Most of the time, people would gently let you know that you missed a tag. Also, don't censor your tags like this (b100d), since from what I heard, it doesn't protect those who filter the word and they would end up seeing it and get triggered unintentionally. That's usually looked down on due to that reason on Tumblr, and in most places.
And finally, a read more.
Tumblr media
If it's getting too long to the point you have to scroll down a bit to get to the end, definitely put a readmore there. Usually, I add it after three paragraphs as seen here. For NSFW stories, I put a readmore right before the story for safety reasons.
And background and all... it depends if you're writing with your OCs/blorbos or just a generic whumpee/whumper/caretaker! For OCs/blorbos, yeah, some background would be cool (if they're fandom characters, it's not necessary since many people would know what the characters are!) Otherwise, it's not necessary to divulge in background stuff for generic, unless it's specific, like if the whump is focused on superpowers and superheroes, some background could help too! 😀
I hope this helps! If anyone else has better etiquette on this (still unsure TBH 😅) feel free to reblog with your two cents!

Read the intro post
wow what a cool and awesome person...
FUCKING 14 YOU ARE A CHILD MY GOOD SIR??? /LH
1: YOOOOOO YOU THINK IM A COOL AND AWESOME PERSON?? THANKS MAN :DD and 2: LMAOOOOOO YEA I AM!! I've been on here since I was like, 11-ish? not sure. my friend introduced me to tumblr during the beginning of my 7th grade year! (and fun fact: that same friend is both my mutual and the person that gave me my nickname actually!! which turned into my url ^_^)
anyway, I'm going to rant underneath your ask about being a child now im so sorry 😔
It's always been so weird being as young as I am both on tumblr and in the fandom space I'm currently a part of. Like realistically, a 14 y/o boy liking minecraft/mcyt sounds really normal but I don't know anyone my age that is open about being a part of this space. I think growing up on tumblr instead or twitter or tiktok honestly really helped when it comes to being happy in my intrests, since almost every other freshman to ever exist has no idea what this website is and they have no chance of ever finding my posts to make fun of me with them. I still use the other two, but I don't post and I only really open them when a cc like Charlie or Ted posts.
It's hilarious to me that because of my current intrests (jrwi and charlie in general) almost everyone that I'm friends with on here are much older minors or adults, mainly because charlie has a pretty mature and well rounded audience (THANK FUCKING GOD 🙏🙏), but also because everybody else my age that are in this fandom are on tiktok. Using tiktok for me and actually posting is kinda unsafe because of the way the tiktok contact sharing works? if someone from my classes finds it through "recommend accounts" then they can look through my account and harrass me if they recognize who it is. Not to steal a Charlie Slimecicle quote for a second, but I was rewatching an old podcast episode from the very beginning of 2020 and he described it as "elevated highschool" which I 100% agree with. Even 3 years later it's still very much just a higher form of highschool bullshit to have to deal with.
But since I don't post on tiktok I don't really have much to worry about!! My account is blank and it's the same @ as my url so nobody should recognize it and put a face to a name which im grateful for. However, being on tumblr isn't the greatest either;
People on here are all adults and I feel a little bit intimidated? In a sense? I understand that I'm a LOT different than most kids my age and I don't typically have anything to worry about but!! I feel like that's what makes it worse. The other people my age that were or still are on here don't understand tumblr etiquette, don't understand not to act like this is twitter and not have stupid cubito discourse, or just aren't funny? Idk I've just never found anyone my age (with the exception of like 3 of my mutuals you guys are amazing and I love you) that I can really talk to on here, so all of the friends I've made are much much older. I'm smart with who I talk to and how I talk to them so I'm safe don't worry!! My parents raised me right and online safety is such a wonderful thing, but one of my closest mutuals on here is in college right now, and the others are juniors or seniors in highschool. I kept my age out of my bio for so long but honestly that was because I was terrified I would scare away the people that I trusted so much because literally obviously it's going to feel weird for them to be mutuals with a genuine honest to god child. I'm relatively close to turning 15 so I'm getting less and less worried about stuff like that happening but eh that was still a real fear for a while.
Anyway sorry for the rant!! TLDR; highschool sucks, I'm scared of being this young on a platform and fandom full of adults and I have to be extra careful, and also charlie slimecicle is a pretty cool guy to look up to so I feel like him being [vine boom sound effect] my COMFORT STREAMER kinda works out in my favor ngl :D

Parasocial stuff is still confusing for me, like what counts as parasocial. Is Tumblr a parasocial experience? Or is it just celebrities? We see the public stuff mutuals and fandom members put out and our brains go "hey friend" about it, does that count?
And the really confusing thing is that we have to make up all the rules, like how and when it's ok to communicate or just be there. I spent a looong time once trying to figure out the Tumblr etiquette of mentioning someone in a post and whether it was appropriate at all to do and I still don't know o_o
IRL people are hard enough to get already T_T
the panic over online interactions is so real like its the same for me as real life where in the moment i’m very “fuck it” but i stress about it before and after like DO PEOPLE THINK IM WEIRD AM I VIOLATING THE UNSPOKEN RULES OF ENGAGEMENT?!??
parasocial relationships being defined as one sided is strange in the context of online community? like the mutuals you don’t speak to directly (messages/asks what have you) vs the mutuals you do actually speak to- but in the context of a community that we have all opted into its so blurry?? but also the feeling of “oh a friend” without acting on it isn’t weird it’s just… the human experience of wanting to find people who are like you. The desire to slap ominous labels on different normal aspects of Just Being a Person man, like can i feel things without having to analyse them and categorise them, please? (i say while i aggressively analyse everything i think and feel- i’m a hypocrite as well as a little shit)
but also with mutuals on tumblr a thing im always very fond of is the anonymity of the whole thing. especially considering that lately the internet has been turning towards monetising your existence/ influencer culture - which is a whole other can of worms for the whole parasocial thing but luckily its a genre of content i dont really care about so i’ve not given it much thought. but yeah, love being able to be absolutely feral on here and it being an outlet for a very specific slice of my personality without being too “exposed”.
(even though i link my portfolio, look man being a freelance illustrator makes you open to whatever way you can be found)

Not sure if screaming into the void will help my social anxiety or make it worse, but suppose it doesn't hurt to try. Not expecting anyone to read this, but want to put something out. So I'm just going to type and let what happens happen.
Y'all can call me Neptune (not my real name ofc), and I'm a just a queer furry nerd that can't help hyper fixating on stuff. I've actually had this account for a few years (I think, not good with time) but never used it. Got brought here by the one and only P.M. Seymour, but because I was never able to get the app, never really used it. Now I'm older, getting into fandoms on here, and am actually taking the effort to learn how Tumblr works. From what I know, I think I'll like it here, and one of the big rules I've been told is to never have an empty blog, makes you look like a bot. Normally I'm a lurker online, but I suppose that'll have to change here. Hence this post.
Anyway, as you can probably guess, my fursona is a tiger (actually what I call a tiggon) named Neptune. Tiggon is my way of denoting a tiger dragon hybrid. I know a tigon is a thing (tiger lion hybrid), so that's why there's two G's. Neptune was actually a name I considered while choosing for myself (I'm trans masc), but decided it worked better for my water powered fursona. Once I figure out how to use Krita properly and get some art done of him, plan on posting here about him. Plan on eventually making him my avatar, but until then, it's Wild from Linked Universe because he's my FAVORITE bean.
What else? I'm a writer (sorta, don't write much, just a small hobby) and love making OCs. Debating writing publicly about them, but for right now I'm not publishing anything. May change in the future once I finally work up the nerve. It's funny really. I'm a very "it's okay to be cringe, let people like what they like" person until it comes to my own work. Then it's all cringe and I'll be put to death for coming up with it. Ah, social anxiety and general self-esteem issues, my beloved. Right now I'm working on two fan-fics, one involving a TotK/AoC AU of mine and the other an AU of my TotK AU. The AU of the AU is inspired by an AU from a fic I've been reading, which is in and of itself an AU of a different comic series I've been reading. So... A fanfic of a fanfic of a fanfic involving three or four separate AUs? Huh, that's a lot of of's. Either way, neither of those is ever getting published, lol. Hell, they're barely getting written as is. Curse my inability to focus.
Anything else of note to share? Yes actually, but I think that's best saved for posts of their own. I'm done with that kind of sharing for now. My point in making this post, besides not looking like a bot, is to tell the void I'm new to it. I'm learning how things work. Etiquette around tags and reblogging (which stresses me the fuck out for no reason. I have this weird part to my anxiety where I absolutely DREAD being late. This is the worst in its "oh, I took too long to respond to that text, now I have to wait for them to text me again" form. This never works and ruins all my friendships. Despite repeated assurances that that's not an issue with reblogs, they still trigger that anxiety.) I make mistakes and don't talk a lot, even online, but I'm willing to learn. Will try to make it a habit to post things, but no promises. Might get better once I get more used to being on here. We'll see. Anyway, it late/early at the same time and I really need to get back to the real world. My favorite Link is waiting for me. We just 100%ed TotK (quests, Koroks, compendium, monster medals, and map) and I'm helping him create a full recipe book as celebration. My man loves food, gonna have to feed him big time after collecting 1001 pieces of shit. Goodnight Tumblr. We'll talk again.

hi hello, i have 30 something thousand posts on this website and most of them are untagged please be patient with me while i try to organize my blog
*will tag things i don't know what to tag yet as "untagged" so that i can come back to them later. maybe.
**i don't queue things but if i did "this is a queued post" or just "queue" is gonna have to suffice because i do not have enough wits to come up with a funny tag for it.
***brb absorbing this = i am a dragon and i hoard headcanons about my beloved blorbos. this specific tag is about headcanons that i am absorbing into the hoard. not fandom specific.
fandom tags:
mha = my hero academia
minecraft = apparently i have a minecraft tag??? okay??
mdzs = mo dao zu shi
aphverse = i am not making three different tags for minecraft diaries and mystreet and whatever other aphmau content i end up reblogging. anything aphmau gets filed under this tag.
ace attorney = ace attorney
dc = batman. superman. wonder woman. etc. they all go here.
spiderman = spiderman (all of them) go here.
fullmetal = fullmetal alchemist franchise, one tag for both anime adaptations and the manga.
atla = avatar the last airbender. i also throw lok content here.
dm = dungeon meshi
vocaloid = vocaloid. mainly miku.
ladybug = miraculous ladybug tag
not fandom tags:
junk drawer = random posts that don't fall into a specific tag. most often "rb and put in the tags" / polls / etc. i'm not calling things "junk" when i tag them this, i'm putting them in my junk drawer for later, like a flashlight or a pair of old batteries or smth. a lot of my yapping goes into the junk drawer as well, i like to yap in there.
polls i did not vote in = didn't get a chance to vote in the actual poll but i still want to yap in the tags
polls i voted in <3 = exactly what it says on the tin.
[new] nice sounds man = i like the sounds. usuallly funky tunes i like.
important = shit i think is important. incredibly vague tag, i don't think i like this one. might overhaul it at some point.
[new] firefox we love you firefox = i love firefox. this tag contains resources and other things about firefox.
queer = tag for queer/lgbtq+/gay things. community history, the "no, queer is not a slur" reminders, etc.
[new] license to be bad at stuff = references a specific post. going to use it to contain all of those art is survival/resistance/etc reminders as well, i think.
rb bait = exactly what it sounds like. those "rb for xyz" posts go here.
[new] joie de vivre = references a specific post. thinking of using it for things that make me feel all warm and fuzzy. the feel good tag. i might be using this phrase wrong but i don't rlly care tbh.
do i have a fashion tag?? = fashion tag. really inconsistent with it. better luck checking out "pretty" tag, i often combine the two.
[new] cc i like = hi i play the sims 4
navigating tags:
navigating the internet = tips for internet safety and etiquette that i think are helpful.
navigating tumblr = the "navigating the internet" but for tumblr specifically.
navigating ao3 = the "navigating the internet" but for ao3 specifically.
pretty = this is my art tag. i tag pretty art with this.
list of "happy [insert date here]" tags:
happy august 1
happy moon landing day!! :D
happy saturday

To the person telling us to blacklist the anti-tags and stop, quote-unquote, "intruding on them":
First of all, the unnamed poster also tagged the DITOEFTV/VADD tags in some of their posts. So it's not on us if we see it. If they didn't want to get a conversation in the open community, then they can just not tag it.
Second, when have we ever "cross-tagged shit", as you so politely put it? I distinctly remember that I was one of the people telling cross-taggers to stop and tag correctly? If you're referring to the multitude of tags underneath my posts, it's simply the different tags this fandom exists under. Stop saying shit that we didn't do.
Tumblr media
Third, I'm sure I've been here long enough, seeing as I remember being on Tumblr for some time when it was sold to Yahoo in 2013. Don't think I don't know Tumblr etiquette; I've probably been here longer than many people.
Fourth, we don't "hate them/you" as you assume. I clearly remember asking the original poster(which I will not name) to clarify their opinion, and they used novel spoilers, so people can't come at me for "lording over my novel superiority", because they used the novel as a baseline for their argument.
We kept asking questions because they opened themselves to a conversation when they posted in the main tag. If you don't like it, then don't tag the main tags, then. Simple as that.
If they delete their post and block people in the argument in lieu of giving an actual rebuttal, then it's natural to assume some things. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I read the DITOEFTV novel at 4am and was extremely sleep-deprived. So I barely remember more than the manhwa readers who saw novel spoilers. Still, I'm able to do analyses and arguments because of my friends. Again, I don't claim "novel reader superiority".
Edit: LMAO I GOT BLOCKED BY JBE but I'm still going to get screenshots from moots sooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Edit 2: The poster- yknow what fuck it, @jeweled-blue-eyes you literally use novel spoilers in your argument. You can't say shit about "it's different from the manhwa!!" and about being a manhwa only when you clearly use novel spoilers, like Iklies being a prince of Delman, etc etc. SUOL-nim is working closely with the original author, the manhwa won't change as much as you think it'll be, to the point where Iklies gets redeemed or something. His dark side is LITERALLY a major plot point. You said stuff about how someone said you need therapy before blocking you immediately. I distinctly remember(because they were messaging a group of people) that they said "Oh god, she blocked me, she deleted my comments."

I hope you don't mind that  I'm taking my reply here. I'm glad you enjoyed my micro-micro fic. I just want to say thanks for reblogging. Sorry for the oncoming too long message for Tumblr. I'm still new here and have yet to learn to abide by the site's etiquette, which seems to be, "not too long messages, pls." :))
Being in a phase of neither reviewing/commenting on other people's fics on a spree, nor posting my own fanfics (currently working on a very long, bromance heavy Loki fic, so I can't read what others write; that's how I function), I realised just how important it is to give people who support other authors credit for what they do.
And I've seen you reblogging fics on a whim, and that's just freaking amazing! I mean, you're amazing for doing that — for giving others who write visibility and praise for it. For any author (and in the Loki fandom, I'm not one yet) that's just incommensurately valuable.
I guess from my end (knowing from both the supporter's and the author's — albeit in another fandom — side what it means) this is simply a shout out to you and others like you who actively support and uplift fanfic writers. You're fantastic and awesome and absolutely insanely amazing for doing this. It's just unbelievable, and I hope every author you reblog knows just how amazing you are for doing that.
Feel free to never answer this ask publicly; I know it's too long (and maybe I have typos. It's late for proper English on my CET  side of the world. :)) But you know, the main idea here is, I guess, just a huge collective THANKS! ♥️
Aww! This is way too sweet! 💚💚💚
Your little fic was fantastic so of course i was gonna share it 😁 I really do appreciate everything people post on here. I know how much time and energy some of my friends on here put into their fics or answering prompts, it seems rude not to reblog after they do all that. I have no idea how you all seem to constantly be coming up with new stories or making what amounts to a novel.
And I definitely don't mind the long message (it's longer than you micro fic hahaha) if you want to tag me in other stuff you write that would be awesome so I don't miss anything 💚

i don't think you have to tag every post about the human misty au with the cults/etc tag. just the posts that like... explicitly mention that stuff. even stuff with tigerstar! if it's not a post with cult or abuse etc mentions, you don't really... have to tag that. and if people in the main character tags see the post, they Still can't be mad about anything bc... they have the human misty au tag. that tag's right there.
you can def tag certain triggers for people if you feel you have to (you're not obligated ofc yeah) but it shouldn't stop you from also tagging the way you usually do.
yeah. i think like. i mean. okay. sorry i'm going to ramble in a way that's in response to what you said but not necessarily Directly.
so imo, i think writing content warnings up top and using a read more is appropriate and sufficient. that's what i do on ao3. actually that's like. a good analogy imo. that's how cws work on ao3, for anything that isn't a major archive warning.
(yes, ao3 has tags you can use in the additional tags section, and i'm not saying it's a perfect analogy, and i'm not going to get into my opinions about cw etiquette on ao3. it's very different than on tumblr and we're not discussing that now.)
but what is relevant is that i've been on ao3 for a long time, and active on fandom/fic tumblr for not very long. (last time i was active, i was doing classpect analysis for homestuck. ask me about the aspect wheel.)
so that's like. how i think things work/should work. you know?
it's not like i'm not sensitive to triggers and squicks. it's just like. idk quite how to word this well but i feel if i've given you an alert, then you should be able to make up your mind on whether or not to engage based on that.
(this is all predicated on me being good about that. i know there's discussions about how cws are a New Thing and kind of a Courtesy more than an expectation, they have become an expectation and i think that's a good thing. anyway so if i forgot to include a warning please (politely) yell at me about it.)
right so. that's my opinion. that's my stance. obviously. if it wasn't my stance it wasn't what i would be doing.
like i said, there's a part of me that takes a bit of Personal Offence to the specific wording of the original ask about the matter, but i believe i correctly interpreted it as meaning "i don't want to see this content, please give me a tool to do so"* rather than "i legitimately think a character tag should only be for fanart" and DEFINITELY rather than "i legitimately think a character tag should only be for feel-good fanart"
* okay, the original ask was more, "i don't want to see this content, please don't put it in front of me," but we've already moved past the fact that i think asking me to do that is unreasonable, so there's no point in belabouring it.
anyway.
the thing is like. i Feel I Have Done My Job. with the exception of warning for cults*, i have told you what to expect. sexual assault. child abuse. public humilation. etc.
* the reason Why i wasn't has to do more with the fact that it's...while it fits the bite model of a cult, and inarguably is a cult, it's. well the thing is it's a christian fundamentalist group. anyway i don't want to. i'm not arguing that it is Wrong and Incorrect to tag it with cults i just initially wasn't for reasons to do with cultural perceptions of christian fundamentalist groups in the us.
so like. i think i've done my job, i've given you the tools.
however.
it is very easy for me to add tags to posts. so. it's kind of like. very little loss for me, large potential gain for someone else.
i am not going to stop tagging them with the main character names because i don't think that's. i don't think that's a reasonable request.
i went thru bramblestar's tag with recent, and it's a mix of bramble designs, humour stuff, and people being anti-bramblestar. (never change.)
i don't really. bc of leopardstar's honour i don't really want to go thru a lot of relevant character tags here. um. what's a good choice. tigerheart? yeah let's do this again w tigerheart.
art (neutral/positive): 10
text (not serious): 2
text (fic/serious): 1
text (analysis): 1
text (negative): 3
other: 18
now, these categories were pretty loose but like. i mean. i don't know what i'm getting at here. "other" is a mix of other cat art, text posts with him mentioned in the tags, and stuff with him but not in a way that's relevant.
and ig what i'm saying is. it's like. what. 41% Not Art. and this isn't about me being petty, i'm trying to get to a point about like. i just think that the expectation that a character tag is art is not backed up by community trends.
so. no. i'm not going to Stop Tagging them. people are welcome & encouraged to blog the au tag and/or me if they want to Not See It.
but. it's not hard for me to add tags in. i can't promise to be perfect, but i'm willing to try.

I'm going to answer it this way, because I'm actually not a fan of some of those, and I've heard this is the way to do it if you don't want it ending up in the tag or the search I think? If i censor any of the ship names it's not out of malice! I simply don't want any of this to end up in front of eyes that just want to enjoy their ships 💖💖💖 if there is anyone who doesn't want to see opinions against t*d*d*ku, k*r*b*ku, or even iz**ch*ka, please don't read any further! Oh my goodness i hope this is all legible...
Anyways, hello!! Thank you so much for the ask!! I love talking about my opinion avkvmsocnaocjsoxks it also makes me really happy you like my blog 🥺🥺🥺 (I hope this answer doesn't ruin that avskvneognsocjs)
I'll start out by confirming that I'm not a multishipper. It makes me excited to see how the act of shipping itself can make others happy, but it's just not that way for me. I actually never read fanfic until I got into bnha (bkdk is just that powerful 😁😁) I'm actually...a little serious when i ship, or when i enjoy media, i analyze pretty heavily, so also, if that doesn't sound like anyone's cup of tea, i would once again recommend to stop reading and enjoy your day please!
I love analyzing characters and storylines and dynamics, but i will admit, I'm not a fan of most of the ships - not romantically. I think all the characters have interesting relationships to each other, all of the kids are great friends, and I love bonds and friendships so much 🥺🥺🥺
Those first two are perhaps the biggest, at least they definitely were the biggest when I first entered. Once i caught up, I didn't really understand the enthusiasm, but people have fun shipping, so that's nice! I think of those two as easy ships, if that makes sense? They're pretty simple, and easy to digest.
I personally am not a fan of romantic t*d*d*ku for a very specific reason; it feels weird to me for Todo to immediately fall in love with the first person who's ever shown him kindness (since his mother of course). Todo had never had any friends, nor any want for friends, obviously because of the abuse he faced as a child. Mido was his first exploration at a life outside of his father, a life he got to make for himself, it just doesn't feel right to me that he should immediately think "oh, is this romantic love? Is this the one and only for me?" Well, perhaps a teenager might think that way, but i don't think that's actually how he feels deep down, and I'm sure that's something a lot of us have to learn as we grow (I've definitely struggled with my own understanding of romance for the past 8 years). I think he still is trying to learn how to socialize and to make friends and to be a friend (and he's doing SUCH a good job!) But to immediately plunge into romance, which can be complicated, i don't think that would be right for him. I hope that makes sense! I know they're a very cute ship, which makes for fun! But again, I can be a little serious when i ship...
K*r*b*ku kind of falls into similar territory for me? Baku definitely had friends growing up, but he's seemed to always have trouble understanding his feelings and where he stands with others, causing trust issues. Kiri is really the first person he knew where he stood with, a person for him to be comfortable with and feel on equal ground, which i think is such a huge and positive role in his life, and i don't necessarily think that it needs to be romantic - for both of these, i think these relationships are incredibly important, to everyone involved, and making them romantic doesn't make them any more important!! In fact, i feel like them as friends actually can offer a more complex, interesting, and human dynamic between these characters, as sometimes people simply default to romance and then end up pushing for the same old tropes and ignore all the intricacies Horikoshi includes in his writing.
Again, I love Mido's friendship with Todo, and I love Baku's friendship with Kiri. I think these relationships are incredibly important, and friends are incredibly important. People who ship them are having fun, which is so lovely, and i hope they continue to have fun! I hope you personally find more fics about them that make you smile and brighten your day 💖💖💖
Iz**ch*ka is a little difficult, because they certainly are cute, separately and together. I thought they were cutest before Ura was told about her potential crush on Mido, when she was simply a source of bubbly energy and positivity that helped Mido open up and feel comfortable around other people. I feel though that, romantically, it's extraordinarily one-sided, and at this point, i have to wonder if they really are "end goal." End goal for shounen, of course, is hardly ever explicit ahzovndlfjsoxo but i feel like a better storyline for Horikoshi to take would be for Ura to realize that she's been confused, and these feelings haven't really been a positive experience for her. I've definitely gone through things like that as a teenager. Now, the ship can be very cute! They're basically the same person, and they're cute and bubbly! But again, it simply isn't for me.
I think Momjirou is very cute!! Of course, as a lesbian, i sense strong lesbian vibes from Momo, and strong bi vibes from Jirou, and I also saw the ship potential ever since the USJ attack - which i think, so did everyone else ahaovndofjsojfsk they're best friends without a doubt, though i have to say, i really like Kamijirou. She just makes him so soft, and he's so in awe of her, and she thinks he's so funny, I love how supportive he is of her, especially since she can be really insecure 🥺🥺🥺
I also think Ura and Tsu are very cute but another easy ship, and i kind of really like Ochamina 🥺 they're both pink and space themed, they're bubbly and energetic and kick ass, and i think they'd be super cute...
I saved todobaku for last, because, you know what they say, best for last! 😇😇😇
I've said it before, but if there was no Mido (impossible obviously, and i would never want that) then todobaku is where my heart would lie. Baku has never really been shown chasing after anyone except for Mido...and Todo, which really gets at my heart. There's a grudging respect there - very, very grudging ahakckdkfjskdk which i find very appealing! Todo is very important to Baku and he has also been able to show Baku some things about himself that he needed to question and reevaluate. Meanwhile, Todo puts up with exactly 0% of Baku's shit, which i find absolutely hilarious. It's funny to me how Baku wishes to intimidate Todo as he does everyone else, and Todo simply does not care. And Baku wants to be mad, and ends up mad that he can't be mad since Todo is a strong and worthy opponent. They just have such an interesting chemistry, there's so much friction, so much tension, and I enjoy it, particularly since they clearly should be friends, would be great friends, want to be friends, but Baku simply won't get over it 😂😂 I do prefer them as friends, but friends that are incredibly close, two people that understand each other on almost a telepathic level, two people that give each other shit while also refusing to take the other's shit.
I do agree that many people in this fandom seem to think their ship stands on some moral high ground? It could be a disconnect from the previous generations of fandom, or it could also be the growing mentality on this site that everything needs to be a battle of moral superiority, and also that what you like is part of your personality, and if someone doesn't like what you like, then they don't like you or that they think you're factually incorrect. I personally have stopped going into the bn/ha tag simply because I don't enjoy, well, many things i find there, and I'm happy with those that i follow. I've definitely seen hatred and invalidation for both LGBT ships and m|w ships, neither of which I'm comfortable with. I definitely don't go off tumblr for fandom stuff because there's practically no acceptance for any same gender ships, or any queer headcanoning, which, I'll be honest, makes me scared, as i am a very anxious person avdkvndkfje i do think it should be noted that we should be as accepting of cishet ships as we are of queer ships - no debate on this one - but again, you are right when you say that many cishet headcanons have been used to invalidate LGBT voices, and any and all allies must always be aware of this! It is much more often that queer voices are silenced, that queer ships are ridiculed, that queer shippers aren't allowed to enjoy or see themselves. And to anybody that doesn't want to be an ally... Whelp ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ what are you doing here ajxkvmdogjdicjsicjsodj I'm gay
I haven't really read much of anything recently, let alone other ships, platonic or otherwise, because energy has been low for me for a long time. I wish i could participate more and support all my friends and other fans, but it's been a bit of a struggle 😣😣😣 I'm so sorry! Something that I can do is make posts and analyses and metas, as those are quick and make me excited, so I'm always happy to respond to asks like these! (I say as i take two hours to write this response...)
I hope people have been taking care of themselves and remember that tumblr is really good at letting you cater to your own interests! I hope if you've made it to the end of this response that you enjoyed it, and you're not mad at me ahsovjekgjsocjwodkso if you are, that's fine, I'm sorry, I probably am really bad at social/internet etiquette and such that help you filter 😣😣
To any who are curious, you cannot change my mind ahdogmdocjdidk thank you to whoever sent this ask!!! A lot of this is a bunch of rambling I've always wanted to talk about but was frankly too scared to post! I hope I made sense and answered everything you were asking!! Please have a good day/night/life!!! 💖💖💖💖💖

Dude. You really shouldnt be supporting miracide. She calls people our age(fictional, but still) "hot" and how much she loves their "fat tits"????
Sorryy Anon it takes me a long time answer! School is kinda hectic rn so I don't have time to open Tumblr, loll
Anywayy I've been waiting to answer your ask so here we go *cracking knuckles*
1. Why am I alright w/ Miracide drawing kids our age and call them sexy and stuff!? Wth man!?
Alright first, chill dude...the characters are fictional, they don't even look that realistic (Be it in canon or fanarts)
Despite JJBA's charas being around the same age as me, as a teen I don't feel any connection or resemblance with them, be it in looks or other things. Thus, I don't feel sexualized by Miracide's art of JJBA charas.
I mean- sure, me and Giorno are 16 and both of us go to high school, but that's about the only similiarities we got.
Like...Just look at him! Giorno is ripped af, he wears pink uniform with a boob window, his goal is to join the goddamn local mafia (granted it's for a noble cause but still), he killed people with no remorse, becoming the boss of said mafia and finally freaking turn bullets into flesh!
By the end of Vento Aureo, we don't even know if the guy still goes to High School or not.
Also, it's important to note that nobody from JoJo looks like real teenager. The only ones who close prob are the Duwang gang. Even then, there are still way too much differences and the 'Sexy' Josuke/Yukako Miracide drew probably are already adults too, considering they're not in uniforms.
2. Fan contents actually is pretty niche and there're a lot of ways to avoid them.
Almost all creators I come across always put taggings and warnings be it on their blog or contents, so it's not that hard to avoid their works if I don't like or don't agree with them.
Sure, learning how to filter content takes time but when you're involved in fandom space it comes naturally.
Because like I said before, there're taggings everywhere (except maybe a few assholes who don't do it) and with the rise of teenage like us in Tumblr, the amount of guide post about fandom etiquette and how to filter things also increased.
Something that sooner or later you will find!!!
Now, on to the next point
3. Fandom culture is common but individual fanart and fanfic's impact on the world actually is not that big, moreover compared to original media.
Take GoT or even Sherlock (TV) for example, how many people in America watch it? A freaking lot
Yet just how many of them actually manages to dedicate enough time to create works based on it? a freaking lot too, but there are still wayyy much more audiences who watch it casually or even dislike fan works completely.
Now, how many of those fan works contain problematic stuff? Maybe only around 0.9%, a tiny fraction from such a wide range and big amount of works.
Not to mention the creators who create those stuff and the audiences who consume them, usually are already aware that they're not ~UwU Pure~ content anyway.
Which is why I'm not overly concerned with fan works that are labeled as "Problematic".
Original media on the other hand...got me worried more often because most of them gets away with shitty things easily despite reaching a much wider audiences-- those who might not be aware of the problematics stuff in that media.
Just look at the amount of movies/tv shows with teens wearing sexy clothes or caught in sexual situations,
How the TV Show/Movie try to package it as something 'relatable',
How right now I feel like I don't live up to my youth, because my HS life is different from those shows
...How all of these BS are just marketing ploy to reel in viewers with sex appeal and unrealistic standart
Sure, I might sound unfair to original media....
But y'know what, Anon pal?
I would rather worry about powerful directors who said their content are safe despite looking sus af, than harmless fans who put danger sign and warnings all over their works.
4. I feel like comparing Miracide (and countless other fan creators) to RL creep is trivializing my experiences
I can't speak for everyone obviously, because I'm sure there are those who doesn't feel the same way.
However I've had a man subject me to unwanted romantic advances despite my repeated refusal, older guys looking at me and my friend inappropriately (sexualizing us from afar), strangers creeping into my friend's DMs. And many other shitty things
Those experiences might seems small but they still scare me to this day.
To equalize Fan artists who only create works that can be avoided f-ing easily and don't directly affect anybody but the characters in fiction--
With The creepy bastards who harass me and my friends in real life, real time...feels like a slap.
((Like my problems are nothing but fandom discourse))
Clearly my experience is not the same with other teens and you are allowed to disagree with me.
But same with how my personal experience doesn't represent everyone, some of these people also need to realize that their opinion doesn't give them the right to act like they're the spokesman of our entire generation.
If you don't like a Miracide and other fan creator's work or action, sure, don't support them
Don't buy their merch, don't give them donation
Block those contents you hate, talk to your close friends why those stuff are bad
Don't interact or promote these fan works, artist, writers or whatever
You are allowed to think of something as problematic
Acting like an invasive piece of pest and coming to people's inbox and start calling them names however...
ain't it, chief.
