anything music related has my whole heart, i'm such a sucker for self ship playlists and always on the hunt for new songs, so this is absolutely perfect!!

now, let me tell you this first: i'm very happy for you to have reached your first big milestone, look at our steph growing 🥲 its so lovely to see how you've become more comfortable, here and in the server! i was so worried when i first met you haha but you're so sweet and encouraging to everyone. ngl you help me be less shy about my self ships too. so thank you for that <3

now, on to the event! if it is ok for you, i would really really love to join with my beloved vampire softie noé. in my lore, i'm a vampire too and we're childhood friends to oblivious fools in love. it was a rollercoaster for us to get to that point; but with everything else that is meant to be in ones life, it all just fell into place eventually and makes so much sense. we're very much polar opposites, he's super bubbly and sweet and outgoing while i'm introverted and standoffish. very much sun x moon vibes for us. i protect him from people i find suspicious, while he always puts in effort to get me to open up and join him in his fun. we are very protective of our loved ones and *ahem* very horny, as vampires are when it comes to anything blood related 🤭 idk how to say this without outing myself as the biggest simp, but he seems like everything good in the world, like just kindness made flesh mhm

Without further ado, I have a gift for you here. Thank you for participating in my event; it means a lot to me. The songs I selected are what I think 80s goth kids would listen to (to me), and therefore, I included them. Fun fact: Robert Smith of the Cure married his childhood sweetheart, and it's why he wrote Just Like Heaven when he kissed her. <3

You were destined to be together since you were children. At night, you would stare at the moon, observing its natural beauty. You would lie on the grass on your own until he came along. 

“May I join you?” he asked you in such a bubbly tone. “I’m Noé, by the way!”

You were speechless at first, but you nodded. You couldn’t believe that someone wanted to spend time with you to look at the night sky. This moment felt special to you, and somehow, you knew this boy would belong to you in some way. 

“I just know that we’re going to be the best of friends,” he said with such confidence.

You steal a glance from each other as you share your name with him. That smile reassured you of what was meant to be.

Growing up, he tried to get you to be more outgoing, but you often insisted that you wanted to keep to yourself with a book. He was the one who challenged you to try different experiences; being young vampires didn’t mean that you shouldn’t miss out on whatever youth was. You would find him so irritating sometimes, but at the same time, you couldn’t deny that no matter how crazy he drove you, you wanted to be closer to him. Underneath the moon, you know that you wanted him to take you into his arms and claim you as his. 

The opportunity arose on Hollow’s Eve; a party would take place. It was extremely chaotic as several hungry young vampires were feasting and sharing blood from a hunt that took place hours ago. You were hungry, but the amount of people present just made you feel queasy. You felt the room getting smaller and you were being suffocated. Noé knew you so well that he felt guilty for bringing you somewhere like this. He swept you away as quickly as he could outside. The same moon that you two would gaze at as kids was there, shining beneath you during this vulnerable moment.

“Why did you bring me here?! You knew that I didn’t want to come here!” you retaliated against him as you felt everything was closing in. Before you could continue to spew empty insults, he closed the space between you with an embrace.

“Noé…I…” you said quietly as you were in his arms. 

“I’m sorry, I just wanted to try to get you out of your comfort zone…I didn’t mean it,” he said solemnly. 

There was a silence now, but as chill air blew against your bodies, there was a warmth that wasn’t questionable. As you opened your mouth to say something else, he stopped hesitating at this moment and his lips found yours. 

“I’ve been waiting to do that,” he said.

“Since when?”

“From the moment I first met you. It’s always been you, since that first night.” 

“Now what?” you asked him. 

“Do you want to lie down? The stars are shining bright, but not as brightly as you.” 

You took his hand to take the lead this time. The moon wasn’t going to forget what it witnessed tonight.
