With her Oz Dust dress, we have a very strong pink that ombres to a golden tone. It’s inspired by a bank of roses I found in Regent’s Park in London, which was hugely inspiring to me, so I used that as a point of reference. She ends up wearing this petal dress that is the same ombre. [...] With Ariana, her Oz Dust dress was one of her favorites. When I speak of collaboration, it’s more when you’re in the fitting stage. while saying glinda’s little hairpins and the gems in her nails were green because of elphaba is cute…… they were also playing tourist and getting their hair and nails done in the emerald city, i doubt there were any other colours she could choose other than green
#people were saying she had the pins in at the train station#that she put them in with elphaba in mind#but like….. she didn’t have them until after they were at the salon#it was literally a ‘when in rome’ type deal

i still don’t believe glinda was trying to change things from the inside. maybe she was telling herself that she was, that she would, to bring herself peace with the choices she made. but it’s not so easy to break a regime when she was largely a decorative pawn in it (and was reaping the benefits of it) until the very end when she had actual leverage and an upper hand. it took her losing everything for her to step into and realize the power she actually has, rather than just pretending at it.

“I’m Galynnda.” Said the girl, her flaxen hair bright despite being cast dappled shadows. Her cheeks were peachy pink, burned from too much time spent in the old-country sunshine. Her lips were painted red, the kind which rivaled any rose in the garden. “Galynnda Arudenna.”

Just doodling around. Galinda but fully raised as a country beauty in Frottica, rather than trying to be something she’s not. I’m not sure the circumstances of this? Perhaps if she never went to Shiz or smth. Idk. Book/musical based rather than the film for once, hence the blue eyes.
